OnePlus Nord 2T 5G India launch has been tipped to take place on July 1, as per a tipster. OnePlus has already teased key specifications of the smartphone and it has already made its debut in the European market. It will come with 80W SuperVOOC Charging, 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup, MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, and run OxygenOS 12.1. Meanwhile, another rumour-magnet smartphone, the OnePlus 10T, has also been leaked in high-resolution renders, which suggest that it has a OnePlus 10 Pro-like design. Tipster Mukul Sharma shared an image, which suggests that the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G will be launched in India on July 1. Gadgets 360 wasn't able to corroborate the development as it seems that the uploaded image was taken down. However, this is not the first time that a July 1 launch date has been tipped. Last week, tipster Abhishek Yadav has also claimed that the India launch date for the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is July 1. He also said that the phone's price will start at Rs. 28,999. Accessibility upgrades to Microsoft Teams In addition to gaining access to background effects, users of Teams on the web will now be able to follow along with meetings in real-time with CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) captioning inside the Teams window. According to a Weibo post by Inno3D, Nvidia's new GeForce GTX 1630 is an incredibly slow gaming GPU, with new benchmarks showcasing performance parity with the entry-level GTX 1050 Ti from six years ago. If Inno3D's benchmarks are applicable to most titles, this makes the GTX 1630 one of the slowest GPUs on the market right off the bat, and perhaps little more than a refreshed GTX 1050 Ti with newer video encoders and decoders thanks to the newer Turing architecture. The GTX 1050 Ti came out in 2016 as Nvidia's entry-level gaming GPU powered by the Pascal architecture. The 1050 Ti features 768 CUDA cores running on a 128-bit memory bus with 4GB of GDDR5 memory. Power consumption peaked at 75W with clock speeds starting at 1290MHz for the base clock, and boost frequencies hitting 1392MHz for the reference model. But even in 2016, we were not completely satisfied with its performance. In our original review, when compared to the vanilla GTX 1050, the 1050 Ti showed lackluster performance for the $130 price point it originated at. The GTX 1630 is Nvidia's latest entry-level GeForce GPU, marking the first time Nvidia has ever used an xx30 series badge for a GTX GPU. As expected, this GPU features less memory bandwidth and fewer cores than the GTX 1650, with a grand total of 512 CUDA cores running on a tiny 64-bit bus with 4GB of GDDR6 (12Gbps) memory. Thankfully clock speeds have been increased over the 1650 to compensate for the reduced specifications, featuring a 1,785 MHz boost clock vs 1,590 MHz on the 1650. Inno3D showed a benchmark chart comparing the GTX 1630, against the GTX 1050 Ti and the GTX 1050 in 12 titles. But there are a few exceptions where the GTX 1050 TI and even the 1050 were beating out the GTX 1630 in three of the twelve titles. Of course, game selection will absolutely affect the results. This is some exceptionally slow performance for a brand new graphics card, even AMD's new but unexceptional Radeon RX 6400 and RX 6500 XT can outperform the GTX 1050 Ti. This makes Nvidia's GTX 1630 truly the slowest modern GPU we've seen in a very long time and a GPU that almost no one will buy for gaming with its rumored price of $165. A year ago, a case could have been made for the GTX 1630 during the global GPU shortage. But with GPU prices now at MSRP and the used GPU market becoming a gold mine for PC gamers, the GTX 1630 is already obsolete before it hits store shelves. The only saving grace for the GTX 1630 is in its multi-media prowess with support for VP8 and H.265 codecs. It also features a much newer NVENC encoder for recording gameplay or just screen capturing from your monitor, which cannot be said of the RX 6400 which lacks H264 encoding entirely.

Samsung is gearing up to launch a new Galaxy M-series smartphone in India on July 5. The company on Wednesday teased the handset through a social media post without revealing the moniker. The upcoming device is being speculated to be the Samsung Galaxy M13 5G. The Samsung Galaxy M13 5G is tipped to feature a MediaTek Dimensity SoC under the hood. It is expected to come in three colour options and two storage variants. It could pack a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support as well. Through a teaser video on Twitter, Samsung announced the arrival of a new Galaxy M-series smartphone in the country. As per the post, the handset will be launched at 12:00pm IST on July 5. Although the company has not confirmed the moniker yet, it is largely being speculated that the 5G variant of the Samsung Galaxy M13 may break cover soon. Specifications of Samsung Galaxy M13 5G had leaked multiple times in the past. The smartphone earlier appeared on the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) certification database with the model number SM-M135M. It is expected to come in Blue, Brown, and Green colour options. The Samsung Galaxy M13 5G is said to feature a 6.5-inch full-HD+ LCD display with 269ppi pixel density. The smartphone could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The handset is expected to get a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model and a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It is tipped to offer the Virtual RAM feature. The storage also could support expansion (up to 1TB) via a microSD card. Past leaks suggested a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary rear camera with an f/2.4 aperture on the handset. Microsoft is taking Collections in a rather Pinterest-like direction. A new Microsoft Edge update promises several new organization features, an inspiration feed, and the ability to directly follow creators. In fact, Collections is getting the lion’s share(opens in new tab) of enhancements in the update. For those unaware, Collections allows you to pull together web pages, pictures, or videos from across the internet and stuff them into folders. The inspiration feed will show you tangentially related ideas from other websites. For example, you might have a series of food recipes saved. The new feed will show you other recipes to inspire you. Making collecting easier The announcement notes that the update will be released soon, but it appears some features are already live. Alongside the inspiration feed, users will be able to directly save images and videos to Collections by hovering over them and clicking the add button. It appears this feature only works on Bing search results. We tried saving YouTube videos, but there was no option. Bing’s Visual Search is also expanding in Microsoft Edge to work on other websites. The feature allows users to search via images rather than text. Hovering over an image will make a Visual Search icon appear. Selecting the icon begins the search. At this time, the feature seems to only work on certain pages. We discovered the Visual Search icon on images from Google’s and Microsoft’s official blogs and even TechRadar. So, support is rather sporadic. And the last update lets users follow content creators from some video-sharing websites. The list includes YouTube, TikTok, and the Chinese website Billibilli. A new “Follow” button will appear at the top of the browser that you can click on(opens in new tab). The list of creators you follow will appear next to Collections as a new menu. From there, you’ll get a feed of the creator’s latest videos. Aside from the few features that worked, the inspiration feed didn't appear nor did the new Follow button. It appears that the updates are rolling out in pieces. We asked Microsoft if they could tell us when the Collections transformation will fully launch and for the complete list of supported websites. We'll update this post with its response. Analysis: Still losing ground While these sound like welcome changes, the question remains: Will it be enough to boost Edge’s po[CENSORED]rity? Recent numbers from Statcounter show the browser is losing users. It’s not clear why, but Microsoft burying Internet Explorer and forcing people to use the browser probably didn’t help. And with browsers like Firefox boosting their security by preventing websites from tracking users, people may understandably jump ship. MSI looks set to roll out its first H610 chipset motherboard with support for the ATX12VO power connector standard. The MSI Pro H610M 12VO(opens in new tab) featured briefly in an MSI Insider broadcast in mid-January when mainstream Alder Lake processors were fresh, but only now is it being readied for retail, with its product page providing a features overview, gallery, and full specs. In January, we thought this might become a system integrators only product, but its appearance on the consumer site confounded this notion. H610 motherboards aren't usually considered with much interest by PC enthusiasts due to their minimal specs, but this one deserves merit for keeping Intel's single-rail ATX12VO power delivery standard alive. MSI highlights the benefits of ATX12VO on the new motherboard's product pages. It says the relatively new power solution's appeal is that it "minimizes power supply production costs and cable chaos for users." That kind of product pruning usually appeals to systems makers, buying hundreds or thousands of identical components. However, while potentially making your PSU cheaper, the ATX12VO standard will probably be slightly more expensive than other H610 boards due to the need for additional DC-to-DC converters onboard. The component costs balancing act might make ATX12VO sound pointless, but its adoption has some other benefits. For starters, the ATX12VO connector is more compact than the ATX power in that it replaces for improved board space use. ATX12VO is also supposed to be more power efficient by converting 2V to 5V and 3.3V on the motherboard and is claimed to be particularly good at reducing idle power(opens in new tab). Lastly, necessary PSUs shouldn't just be cheaper; they should be simpler too. Turning to the rest of the MSI Pro H610M 12VO specs, they are minimal. Users can access two DIMM slots for up to 64GB of DDR5-4800 memory. For expansion, there is one PCI-E x16 and one PCI-E x1 slot. You can plug in up to four SATA III drives, but only one PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 slot is available for storage. The official end of life for Google Hangouts has been announced, with users only having a few months to prepare for the big switch. The company has revealed that Hangouts will now be closing for all users by November 2022 as part of its bid to modernize its Google Workspace suite to be as effective for users as possible. With many desktop and web users already in the process of being migrated over, Google is now looking to target the remaining mobile users, who will start to see prompts about needing to switch to Google Chat within the next few weeks. Upgrade Google Hangouts to Chat News of a switch from Hangouts to Chat was first revealed in October 2020, when Google made the latter service free to all users. Some customers have already been switched over, with enterprise and business users on "Classic Hangouts" being upgraded to Google Chat in March 2022. In a blog post(opens in new tab) announcing the news, Google noted that people using Hangouts on mobile will see an in-app screen asking them to move to Chat in Gmail or the Chat app from today. Anyone using the Hangouts Chrome extension will also be asked to move to Chat on the web or install the Chat web app. Users persisting with using Hangouts in Gmail on the web will be upgraded to Chat in July. Google notes that users will receive plenty of warning about a switch, seeing an in-product notice at least a month before Hangouts on the web starts redirecting to Chat on the web, and Hangouts on the web will also remain available to use until later this year. The company says that conversations are automatically migrated from Hangouts to Chat, but is advising users who wish to keep a copy of their Hangouts data to download it using its Google Takeout service before Hangouts is no longer available in November 2022. "Google Chat offers a modern and integrated experience in Google Workspace. We have big ambitions for the future of Chat, and over the coming months you'll see even more features like direct calling, in-line threading in Spaces and the ability to share and view multiple images," wrote Ravi Kanneganti, Product Manager, Google Chat. However, prices are incredibly high compared to its Zen 2 predecessors, with pricing on the 64-core model double that of the Ryzen Threadripper 3990X's MSRP of $4,000. For now, take these results with a grain of salt. There is a possibility that these prices are not official. Thankfully these extreme price hikes are only regulated in China for now.
