The Saudi-led coalition battling Yemen's Houthi rebels says it has intercepted a ballistic missile near Riyadh, Saudi state media report. Witnesses in the Saudi capital posted pictures on social media showing a cloud of smoke in the air, and there were no reports of any casualties. The Houthis' al-Masirah TV said the missile targeted a meeting of Saudi leaders at the al-Yamama Palace. Last month, a similar missile came close to hitting Riyadh's airport. Saudi Arabia and the US have accused Iran of giving the Houthis that missile. Iran has denied arming the rebels, who have been fighting a war against Yemen's government and the Saudi-led coalition since March 2015. A member of one of South Korea's biggest boy bands has died suddenly. Jonghyun, full name Kim Jong-hyun, was one of the five members of Shinee, who have had a string of number one hits in their home country. The Korean Herald said he was 28 years old. He was taken to hospital after being found unconscious in an apartment in Seoul, according to reports. Police told the BBC Korean Service that suicide will be investigated as a possibility. Emergency services were alerted by the singer's sister and he was later pronounced dead at hospital. The AFP news agency said his sister raised the alarm after receiving a number of text messages from her brother, including one saying "this is my last farewell".
