  1. There are lots of computers out there that are still running Windows 7 even though Windows 10 has been out for a very long time and is now installed on 700 million devices globally. The reasons for staying on an old OS like Windows 7 are many and varied but some folks just feel their OS is working just fine and many end users don’t want to shell out money to replace something that isn't broken. In the enterprise realm, it can be a huge undertaking to move hundreds or thousands of PCs from one version of Windows to a new version, especially if there is proprietary software or apps that might have issues on Windows 10, though few would argue that security is paramount. Microsoft has previously vowed to offer Windows 7 extended support through January 2020. After that ended, the expectation was that no more security updates would be offered for Windows 7. Microsoft has now stepped up and noted that, despite the end of service being a few years away, some enterprise users might be on a longer trajectory for being able to migrate to Windows 10. As such, Microsoft has announced that it will continue offering Windows 7 Extended Security Updates through January 2023, giving users three more years to migrate to Windows 10, but there is a big caveat. The caveat is that the updates past January 14, 2020, will be sold to users on a per-device basis. The price to buy those updates will also increase each year. Extended Service Updates will be offered to Windows 7 Pro and Windows 7 Enterprise customers in Volume Licensing. That means some Home version users won't be able to get the updates. Customers with a Windows software assurance plan in place will get a discount on the updates along with discounts on Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Education subscriptions. Customers who pay for the Windows 7 updates will be able to continue using Office 365 Pro Plus. Microsoft has also announced Desktop App Assure service from Microsoft FastTrack that is intended to address issues with Windows 10 and Office 365 ProPlus app compatibility. Microsoft says that Apps that work on Windows 7 will continue to work on Windows 10 and all future feature updates. Microsoft also notes that this service is part of its commitment to eliminate app compatibility as a roadblock to migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
  2. We have seen some truly amazing things in the field of robotics, like a dog that can walk itself and a stickman robot that can perform acrobatics. Those are nifty, though not exactly practical for home consumers. What is practical, however, is a new app-enabled robotic ball by Sphero that is designed to help teach programming. It's called the Sphere Bolt, and it's a modern take on the original Sphero, back when the company was called Orbotix. The aim is to "foster creativity through discovery and play, all while laying the foundation for computer science." Or put another way, the Sphero Bolt is supposed to make programming fun for kids and adults alike. "Sphero BOLT is an app-enabled robotic ball that provides endless opportunities to be creative and have fun while learning. Program with the Sphero Edu app from nearly any mobile or desktop device, discover awesome community-created activities, or just drive and play," Sphero explains The company behind the Sphero Bolt is the same one that built toys around the BB-8 and R2-D2 from Star Wars, and Lighting McQueen from Cars. Sphero Bolt is more advanced than any of those, and is essentially an update to the SPRK+. At is core, the Sphero Bolt consists of a programmable 8 x 8 LED matrix display sitting atop a control board. It can show words, images, and even animation in different colors. Paired over Bluetooth, it can be programmed to play games or provide real time data, such as battery life. Of course, it rolls as well, similar to those pods that allow people to wade through dinosaurs in Jurassic Park. It has a built-in compass, four IR sensors, an accelerometer, and a gyroscope, all wrapped in a durable, waterproof shell. It can be programmed with the Sphere Edu app from nearly any mobile or desktop device. "Use advanced sensors to keep tabs on Bolt’s speed, acceleration, and direction, or orient and drive Bolt with the built-in compass. Bolt also features infrared communication, allowing your robot to “communicate” with other Bolts, enabling brand new games and advanced coding tactics," Sphero adds. There Sphero Bolt is not cheap, though—it's available now from Sphero's online store for $149.9

  4. Hundreds of Venezuelan migrants have crossed back over the border with Brazil in the last few days after a violent incident in Boa Vista, the capital of Roraima state. Most said they were leaving because they feared for their lives after a young man was lynched, accused of killing a local man during a robbery. They were picked up by buses sent by the Venezuelan government. Brazil has accepted over 30,000 Venezuelans fleeing economic chaos. Many of the migrants had been living on the streets of Boa Vista with no sanitation or water in improvised plastic and wooden shelters. Many locals say they resent their presence, complaining of the smell and the mess left in public spaces Police were investigating the stabbing of a local man who had allegedly got into a fight with a Venezuelan after a robbery at a supermarket. The Venezuelan man was attacked and beaten to death by a group of Brazilian men. Tensions have been rising on the Brazilian-Venezuelan border where hundreds of people cross daily into Brazil fleeing Venezuela's severe economic crisis. Most of the migrants continue further south heading towards other countries in South America. But around 30,000 have stayed in the border region in the state of Roraima Earlier this month, 1,200 migrants fled back across the border from the Brazilian town of Pacaraima after locals attacked a street encampment, burning possessions and tents. The local authorities in Brazil have complained they do not have the resources to deal with the migrants and are receiving no support from the central government. In response, two weeks ago Brazilian President Michel Temer ordered the military to the border area to provide security. In Peru, a group of 90 Venezuelans decided to return home on planes sent by their government as part of a plan to repatriate Venezuelan nationals named "Return to the Country". The Venezuelans had gathered at the embassy in the capital, Lima, and from there were taken to the airport. The Spanish news agency Efe said some had thanked Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro "for hearing their prayers" after having gone through a difficult situation in Peru. Peru has accepted 430,000 migrants the second largest group in the Americas after Colombia.

    Need Help

hello. i think problem from your cable/router/modem not cs . so basically you have a cable modem with one coax coming out of it from that as well as the ethernet cable directly to you wireless router? if so you should be getting your real wan ip directly from your provider onto your wireless router under the wan section. if you are indeed getting a 172.16.x.x ip under the wan section of your wireless router the only thing that can cause that is the modem is really a modem/router all in one that is handing out dhcp addresses instead of just the wan ip. To test disconnect your wifi router and plug a laptop or pc directly into it. if you have windows hit start, then type cmd from there hit ipconfig under lan you should be seeing exept it will say lan Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 10.10.156.147 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.10.156.1 if you see something similar with the ipv4 being like 24.67.25.223 you are actually getting a wan ip. if you see 172.19.x.x or similar it is indeed a router and you will need to do what I said in the previous post. either bridging into a plain modem or dmz mode if this didnt work or you didn't undertand this. try to delete your cs 1.6 then download new one . try this is work for all or wath vidoe bellow : Good luck STAFF CSBD

  16. Samsung has become somewhat of a household name in the consumer solid state drive market—between its Pro and Evo drives, the company offers some of the fastest and best bang-for-buck options out there. Its newest SSDs, however, are aimed at data center customers and consist of several new models aimed at reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO). The new Data Center SSD solutions consist of the 860 DCT, 883 DCT, 983 DCT, and 983 ZET, each one "engineered to meet the evolving needs of small and medium businesses (SMBs)," which essentially entails faster sustained performance, higher capacities, and of course enterprise-grade reliability and security. "Samsung’s Data Center SSD portfolio provides SMBs with a future-proof lineup to fit their unique business needs in the incredibly diverse market," said Richard Leonarz, director of product marketing for Samsung Electronics. "Samsung leveraged years of memory product engineering expertise to deliver a simple, yet optimized SSD lineup that addresses today’s super computer trends." The 860 DCT SSD series is designed for servers that need sustained performance for read-intensive workloads. These drives are meant to replace mechanical hard drives and are offered in three different capacities—960GB, 1.92TB, and 3.84TB. These are 2.5-inch SSDs with up to 4GB of onboard LPDDR4 memory. They're rated to deliver sequential read and write performance of up to 550MB/s and 520MB/s, respectively. Samsung's 883 DCT SSD series is built for servers used to safeguard critical data, including power loss protection and end-to-end data protection. They offer a high QoS under the SATA interface and are available in capacities ranging from 240GB on up to 3.84TB. Both the 983 DCT and 938 ZET are faster NVMe drives, the former available in U.2 and M.2 form factors and the latter available in HHHL (half height, half lengh). The 983 DCT is available in 960GB and 1.92TB capacities and deliver sequential read and write performance of up to 3,000MB/s and 1,900MB/s, respectively. Meanwhile, the 983 ZET comes in 480GB and 960GB capacities, both rated to deliver up to 3,400MB/s of sequential read and up to 3,000MB/s of sequential write performance. All of the new drivers are available now direct from Samsung. They're each backed by a 5-year warranty.
  17. Apple's 2018 lineup of iPhones is going to be unveiled one week from today, which means that the last round of rumors is starting to meander onto the internet. Today, we have two fresh "leaks" to report on including rumored pricing and the name for the largest iPhone to ever be released. But first, let's talk about that 6.5-inch OLED iPhone. We heard last week that the new 5.8-inch OLED phone will be called the iPhone Xs. According to 9to5Mac, which brought us the first "official" render of the smartphone along with the iPhone Xs naming, says that the 6.5-inch OLED device will be called the iPhone Xs Max. Besides the fact that the name just looks and sounds awkward, it is also a departure from the "Plus" nomenclature that has been used since the iPhone 6 Plus to denote the bigger-screened iPhone. With the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max seemingly set in stone, that only leaves the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone without a proper name. Some have suggested that device will simply be called "iPhone". The other bit of news regarding the 2018 iPhone lineup is with respect to pricing. We've heard for several months that Apple intends to adjust its pricing strategy to make room for both the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone at the bottom and the iPhone Xs Max at the top. In this regard, 9to5Macis also reporting that the former will have a starting price of $699. The iPhone Xs will reportedly be priced at $899 (a $100 reduction compared to last year's iPhone X), while the iPhone Xs Max will debut at $999. It seems a little odd to us that Apple would price the massive iPhone Xs Max at the same level as last year's flagship -- especially given that Apple isn't known as a company with a tendency to slash prices so quickly. With that in mind, take these prices with a grain of salt -- especially with regards to the iPhone Xs family. Whatever the case, the new iPhones will all be running 7nm Apple A12 processors and the iPhone Xs/iPhone Xs Max are tipped to include 4GB of RAM. In addition, the 6.1-inch iPhone and iPhone Xs Max will reportedly support dual-SIM functionality for international markets. We should also expect second-generation Face ID technology along with the usual yearly camera improvements front and rear.
  18. A military court in South Sudan has convicted 10 soldiers of raping foreign aid workers and murdering a local journalist. The crimes were committed during a rampage in the Terrain Hotel in the capital, Juba, in 2016. UN peacekeepers who were nearby were accused of failing to respond to pleas for help. The judgment was delivered in a military courtroom packed with diplomats, aid workers and officials. One accused soldier was acquitted. Another died in detention of natural causes. The attack took place during heavy fighting in Juba between government and rebel forces. More than 70 people, including two UN peacekeepers were killed in three days of fighting. A UN report into the hotel attack accused UN peacekeepers of failing in their duty to protect civilians
