After several months of waiting, Hyundai Motor Company today presented its first model under the IONIQ umbrella at a virtual event. It is the IONIQ 5, a car that will be the true starting point for the South Korean manufacturer's electrical branch. They say from the company that it comes to redefine the lifestyle of electric mobility. This new electric car is built on the Electric Global Modular Platform (e-GMP). In this way, it has unique proportions, a huge wheelbase, a truly innovative design and high performance with ultra-fast loading and the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function. The price and the exact date of arrival on the Spanish market is still a mystery, although Hyundai has stated that the new IONIQ 5 will be available in some regions during the first half of this year 2021. A really good looking compact at every angle As can be seen in the images, the IONIQ 5 is a really striking car. It has a body in a compact format, although its length is 4.63 meters. The width and height are 1.89 and 1.60 meters respectively, while the huge battle of no less than 3 meters stands out above. This model stands out in each of its angles with a minimalist line, but at the same time worked. The front is very closed and it stands out above all the optics, with a cube-shaped daytime lighting. Of course, from LED. It is also important to mention the large area that covers the hood, as it even acts as a front wing. Obviously, the bumper is also very large. From the side view we can highlight the shapes of the wheel arches, the aerodynamic 20-inch wheels, the many folds and lines of the doors, as well as the slim front pillar or the flush handles. In the final part of the roof we find a marked upper spoiler, but at the same time elegant. No less attractive is the rear, with a very characteristic lighting scheme made up of multiple small points in a strip that runs along the entire horizontal. In the middle appears the IONIQ 5 inscription, and just above the Hyundai logo. As you can see, the entire exterior design is very striking, which can be in nine different colors, but wait inside. Universal Island? The IONIQ 5 console is slidable and you can even lie down In the cabin. Hyundai has called "Universal Island" (Universal Island) the movable center console that can slide 14 centimeters back. The brand says that this, together with the flat floor where the batteries are stored, allows ample freedom of movement inside. The front seats can be electronically adjusted to exaggerated angles, as you can see in the photos. They really look like recliners, being able to even lift our feet off the floor. I suppose to take a short nap while we recharge the batteries. By the way, the thickness of the seats has been significantly reduced to give even more space to the rear row passengers. To all this must be added visible technological solutions, such as the configurable dual cockpit with 12-inch touch screen or the digital instrument panel of identical dimensions. Everything can be customized based on the driver's tastes. In addition, for the first time in a vehicle from the South Korean manufacturer, the IONIQ 5 has a Head-Up Display with augmented reality. Engines available This new IONIQ 5 is available with various electric drive versions. Customers can choose between a 58 kWh and a 72.6 kWh battery, as well as two motor options; one with a rear electric motor and the other with a motor on each axle. In all cases the maximum speed is 185 km / h. The top-of-the-range version has a rear engine of 155 kW (211 hp) and 350 Nm of torque, and a front engine of 70 kW (95 hp) and 255 Nm. This option together with the 72.6 kWh battery allows to cover 0 to 100 km / h in just 5.2 seconds. Regarding driving and safety aids, it is equipped with the Hyundai SmartSense. It is also important to note that the IONIQ 5 is the first from the Asian company to offer the Highway Driving Assist 2 system. Other driving aids are the well-known blind spot control, emergency braking, speed limit assistant, fatigue or automatic high beams among others. Ultra-fast battery charging in conjunction with the innovative Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function It offers the 800 V load capacity as standard in conjunction with 400 V, without the need for additional adapters. This system is a technology that drives the motor and inverter to increase power from 400V to 800V for stable load compatibility. With a 350 kW charger, the IONIQ 5 can charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes. Similarly, IONIQ 5 customers only need to charge the vehicle for five minutes to achieve 100 km of range. The V2L function of this electric model allows users to use or charge electric devices, such as electric bicycles, scooters or camping equipment, both in motion and static. It can supply up to 3.6 kW of power. The V2L port is located under the second row seats and is activated when the vehicle is on. Another V2L port is located on the outside of the vehicle.

Handball Sassari announced on Monday the signing of Spanish Magí Serra to lead his Italian Division 1 team until the end of the season. The Catalan coach was training at Terrasa de Primera Nacional, but an irrefutable offer from the transalpine club was enough to convince him and thus embark on a new path in his sports career with only 39 years old. "I received a call from this club in case I was interested in their offer. They convinced me of their conditions and we balanced everything to close the agreement despite having other Spanish technicians among the candidates," explains the coach to Marca.com, who faces a lot illusion this new stage abroad. "I am very motivated because it is an ambitious project for a serious club, which is growing a lot," adds the native of Barcelona. Currently second in the table in the Italian league three points behind the leader, the incorporation of Serra is presented as a necessary element for the growth of a Sassari that the same coach, Luigi Passino, has had for the last 16 years. "We have chosen a high-level profile to carry out a valid and growing project. After the dismissal of Passino, an experienced technician, we could not afford to bet. We firmly believe that Serra's choice is the best of all", says sports director Andrea Giordo. "It attracts me a lot to be able to fight to finish as high as possible in the classification. In addition, this season he played the European Cup, all a double motivation to be used to fighting for permanence" Magí Serra, new Italian Handball Sassari coach Fighting for titles and playing in Europe have been some of the reasons for the Spanish coach, used to fighting to avoid relegation in his previous teams. "It attracts me a lot to be able to fight to finish as high as possible in the classification. In addition, this season he played the European Cup, all a double motivation to be used to fighting for permanence," says Magí about the objectives of the Italian team, who played for the first time in its history an international competition. Incorporations last summer such as that of the experienced Argentine international right back Fede Vieyra, respond to a sports project that seeks the first national title for its showcases after finishing fourth in the league last season. "Every coach likes to have the opportunity to win things," concludes Serra, who travels this Tuesday to sign until June of this year, but with the option to renew one more season. Fourth club abroad A new adventure in your history for a technician with experience abroad. Because the young coach will face his fourth stage in a foreign club after leading the Hungarian Szese Gyor and Balmazujváros, and the Kuwaiti Kazma. The lack of convincing projects in Spain once again propitiated his national handball march, where he left his mark on Pozoblanco, Villa de Aranda and Cangas, his last team, with which he achieved salvation in the Asobal League in the 2017/18 and 2018/19 courses. Since then, he has continued to train with some of the best coaches in the world while waiting for another opportunity.

It is very understandable that people - and especially women - go on diets. Rarely do we feel comfortable with the body and believe that we are lacking, or on a path to the perfect measurements, which will ultimately make us happy. In addition, controlling what we eat daily helps to feel control, especially in these times when there is so little we can really handle. But this is nothing more than an illusion, a mirage, because behind that feeling of control what really happens is that the diet is controlling us. And of course, there is fear. The one that says that if we are not following a diet we will inevitably get fat, so we will end up regimen again in the short term. But this is just another tentacle of the diet culture in which we live immersed, which has made us disconnect from the body and its needs. And intuitive eating is presented as a solution to get out of this vicious circle. "Intuitive eating is a model developed by Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch in 1995, which integrates mind and body, and was created to help consumers get away from the damage that diets have caused", explains the nutritionist at the Clinical Hospital from the University of Chile and the AIDA center for patients with eating disorders, María Jose Chousal. As she says, there is evidence that these damages are capable of developing eating disorders, weight gain, preoccupation with food, weight stigma and body dissatisfaction. Instead, intuitive eating is associated with benefits: “Greater body appreciation and satisfaction, positive emotional functions, greater life satisfaction, greater self-esteem and optimism, greater motivation to engage in physical activity when it is focused on pleasure rather than guilt or the appearance". One of the keys to intuitive eating is that you can be healthy at any size, without seeking to be within traditional measurements or body mass indexes. "The goal is to gain health regardless of our body size, weight or BMI is not used to know if the person is healthy or well, on the contrary, it is proven that there are many large people who are in perfect health, ”says Chousal. But the goal of intuitive eating that makes it an palatable lifestyle is that it promises to teach us to eat without guilt, based on hunger and satiety signals. "This helps people eat out of physical hunger and not out of anxiety", says the nutritionist and adds: "When you learn to follow the body's signals, the body begins to balance the consumption of different types of food and that makes them eat in a much more intuitive way ”. But eating intuitively doesn't mean going to the fast food place every time we're hungry. Although there are no guidelines like the ones we traditionally know, there are behavior patterns that develop over time to improve habits. These do not imply food listings or anything rigid or restrictive. Intuitive eating follows 10 basic principles, which are: Reject the diet mentality Honor hunger Make peace with food

The firm will use "its global capacity" to guarantee the delivery of 180 million doses to Europe in the second half of the year. Pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca acknowledged new vaccine production difficulties in Europe and indicated that it will have to turn to factories abroad to meet dose deliveries to the European Union in the second half. AstraZeneca "is working to increase the productivity of its supply chain in the EU", and will use "its global capacity to guarantee the delivery of 180 million doses to the EU in the second half of the year," it said Tuesday night. a spokesman for the British-Swedish group told AFP. "About half of the planned volume is expected to come from the supply chain in the EU," and the rest will come from the company's international network, the spokesperson said. The announcement comes after controversy over AstraZeneca / Oxford vaccine deliveries to the European Union in the first quarter of 2021 sparked tensions between the EU and the pharmaceutical group. On Thursday there will be an extraordinary European summit by videoconference, with a particular focus on the health crisis. The British government immunized millions of people with AstraZeneca's vaccine since late 2020. But the company didn't start delivering to the EU until early February 2021, after the European drug regulator took time to recommend its use.

The birth of the latest generation of the Lexus IS has left us with a bittersweet taste in our mouths. During the last years the premium firm of Toyota has been reorganizing the models that make up its range. And one of those that has been most affected is the IS because, depending on the market, it is no longer considered as the access saloon. This implies that we will no longer see him in Europe as his replacement has fallen into the hands of the new ES. To this must be added that to create the new IS, its engineers decided to maintain the same technical scheme as the previous one. Be that as it may, many things have changed and one of you will especially like. After a period of absence, the Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance returns to the market. This version is designed to put heavyweights like the BMW M3 on the ropes. Will it deliver what it promises? Do not miss it… The image of the Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance is aggressive and very sporty One of the aspects we like the most about the new IS is its appearance. The creative team of the Japanese firm has managed to maintain the essence of the previous one without making it seem that we are facing an "old" model. This same maxim is what they had to follow to shape the Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance. Especially because it goes up a level and evolves in certain aspects to offer a more powerful and sporty image without losing its essence. To get an idea, the IS 500 F Sport Performance adds a more bulky and chiseled hood. This is to accommodate the 5.0 V8 block in the engine compartment and offer greater safety space. The bumpers are wider with air intakes, even more marked and sporty. The prominent wheel arches house 19-inch 10-spoke Enkei alloy wheels. At the rear, there is a new diffuser and a pair of dual tailpipes. Quality interior and superb settings punctuated by sporty details Inside, the Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance is more discreet than sporty. The lines that shape its dashboard and basic design elements remain unchanged. To break so much sobriety, those responsible have chosen to include some sporty details. The most notable change can be seen in its digital instrument panel. The digital display can change the view, offering a sportier one. The steering wheel also changes, as it receives heating and the "F Sport" logo in the lower arm area. This badge also reaches other areas of the cabin, such as the thresholds for the doors. To maintain exclusivity, the high-rise dashboard, seats and doors are dressed in premium black leather with contrast stitching. Finally, it has specific pedals and footrest for the F Sport Performance series. As far as safety equipment is concerned, the IS 500 F Sport Performance has the latest evolution of the Lexus Safety System + 2.5. Among the main active driving aids that it includes are the pedestrian detection system, emergency steering assistant, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning with steering assistant or automatic high beams. Sublime engine: 5.0 V8 aspirated with 479 hp and 535 Nm Finally, we must take a look at what it hides under its hood. As its name suggests, the IS 500 F Sport Performance has a 5.0 V8 aspirated petrol block. Its performance reaches 479 CV of power and a maximum torque of 535 Nm at 4,800 rpm. For its management, the engineers of the Toyota premium firm rely on an automatic cut-off transmission with 8 relations. Thanks to this set, its acceleration is heart attack. Depending on the brand, it goes from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.5 seconds. To increase its sportiness, it has the Dynamic Handling package that includes adaptive suspension and Torsen limited-slip differential. The rear suspension, to improve stability, features sports shock absorbers signed by Yamaha. Lastly, the brake discs are more generous at 355mm at the front and 322mm at the rear. The Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance is the first of many more ... The arrival of the rabid Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance will take place next fall. Before it lands in the showrooms of the firm they will announce their prices and equipment options. If you liked what you have read and seen, we are sorry to give you two bad news. In the first place, as we have already advanced and assumed, it will not be available for sale in the European market. A V8 in the Old Continent? Do not… Secondly, this IS 500 F Sport Performance will be the first in a new series of F Sport Performance models. And you may wonder why this is bad? Well, no, it is not bad, but Lexus has announced that the next releases will be more sporty so the appetizer falls short. Patience…

Osasuna - Sevilla I Liga The Nervionense team is the best in the second round Sevilla are third because they are the best team in the second round. The Nervionenses add 15 points to 13 from Barcelona and 12 from Real Madrid. Against Osasuna he achieved his sixth straight victory in the League, five without conceding a goal -the first time he has achieved it-, the eighth away from Sánchez-Pizjuán. Leaving aside the puncture in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund, the team once again demonstrated itself as a solid, reliable team, which manages to minimize its rivals until it prevails in a field as complicated as El Sadar, and that cannot be the result of chance. Let's review some numbers. Sevilla equaled their record for consecutive victories in a Primera Liga: six, as in 2013-14, with Unai Emery on the Nervionian bench. Lopetegui's men have won 12 of their last 14 outings and with the Moroccan goalkeeper Bono, they have played 517 minutes without conceding goals and beat their record in the top flight. And that cannot be the result of chance. Sevillismo dreams and Lopetegui maintains his conservative discourse that has given him such good results to date. "There is a limited number of energies and we must always dedicate them to the next game. It has been very hard and now we have to think about Barcelona. No I am nobody to give permission or not, "said the coach. Special dedication "It is an important day for sevillismo because it has been two years since the death of Roberto Alés, an important person for sevillismo, and the victory goes to him and to his family," added the coach from Gipuzkoa. The negative note of the visit to El Sadar may be in the infirmary. "Suso and some more. It was a tough game, a game with a lot of contact and some players may be touched. We will wait for a more accurate assessment tomorrow and we will see the consequences," Lopetegui warned. An important circumstance in the face of what lies ahead is that Sevilla will play forwards in the Champions League looking for the comeback in German lands, they will visit the Camp Nou to defend the 2-0 advantage in the first leg of the Cup semifinals del Rey and get a pass to the final, and next Saturday it will be measured precisely against Barcelona, now fourth classified. The team is plugged in and now, in the League, it is on the podium.

The advantages of consuming gluten-free bread range from improved digestive activity, decreased blood pressure, increased health of hair and skin, and reduced triglycerides and cholesterol, to overall strengthening of the immune system. against inflammatory disorders and allergies Bread seems to be the number one enemy in gluten-free diets that both celiacs and people with intestinal sensitivity should exclude from their diet, however, the good news is that both they and those who enjoy admirable intestinal health, They benefit from having a diet free of their consumption, which has promoted the development of recipes for gluten-free bread that not only have nothing to envy to traditional bread, but also compete with immense benefits. And it is that, according to the nutritionist Catalina Palomino, the advantages of consuming gluten-free bread range from the improvement of digestive activity, the decrease in blood pressure, the increase in the health of the hair and skin and the reduction of triglycerides and cholesterol, to the general strengthening of the immune system against inflammatory disorders and allergies. In addition, Palomino explains that gluten is not essential for humans and excluding it from the diet not only does not represent a nutritional disadvantage, but also leads to substituting its consumption with other excellent options, from the point of view of nutritional contribution, easily . This, added to the infinite possibilities offered by the market to replace that special characteristic of the 'crumb' typical of traditional bread, provided by gluten, has given a unique opportunity to this bread that has found its place, not only hidden on the shelves of some healthy markets, but arranged in large-scale gondolas and invading recipes and online courses on social networks. Now, gluten-free bread is presented as the opportunity to add nutrients to a conscious eating habits that ingredients do matter. Health or trend? Facts such as that celiac disease still has no cure (unless gluten consumption is eliminated for life), the more or less recent appearance of other disorders such as sensitivity to it and the increase in diagnoses, have accelerated or promoted the offer of gluten-free foods and in particular, of bakery products. With this offer, a strong demand in search of healthy foods has also skyrocketed, however, erroneous claims that are propagated pointing out that gluten-free foods do not make you fat, have overshadowed the true benefits, making their consumption, sometimes, an object of some kind of trend. However, beyond a consumption by fad, many of the lovers of healthy cooking, nutrition specialists, trainers in changing habits, among others, have intensified the promotion of the consumption of gluten-free bread, recognizing its true benefits. Immune benefits Probably one of the characteristics that is given the most power to the consumption of gluten-free bread is that it prevents the weakening of the immune system and instead, it can strengthen it. María Camila Valencia Robledo, creator of Food Without Labels, which has gluten-free bread as its flagship product, says that she came to the kitchen and to a gluten-free diet after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. "Generally, in the medical world, these diseases are treated in their symptoms and it is almost never really a matter of finding the root of the problem," says Valencia, who, driven by her curiosity, investigated hard and found that it was possible to start making changes in lifestyle to improve and even reverse, many of the symptoms suffered, one of those changes was in diet.

Honduras would be one of the countries that will benefit. On Tuesday, the Israeli government affirmed that it will send a "limited quantity" of doses of "unused" anticovid vaccines to the Palestinians and to some countries such as Honduras, which plans to open an embassy in Jerusalem. "Israel has received many requests for help from countries that claim vaccines," the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement, stating that his country was not in a position to provide "significant aid before ending its vaccination campaign. . But thanks to "a limited amount of unused vaccines accumulated last month", Israel has decided "to help the medical personnel of the Palestinian Authority and several countries" by sending them "a symbolic quantity of vaccines," the statement added. The Israeli media have cited Honduras in particular, which announced last year its intention to move its embassy to Jerusalem, as a country likely to receive doses of vaccine from Israel. The prime minister's office declined to comment on this information, but a source close to the case stated that Honduras would be one of the countries that will benefit. Israel, which holds the world record for the percentage of its po[CENSORED]tion vaccinated, has already administered two doses of the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine to three million people, almost a third of its po[CENSORED]tion. Israel launched a vast and swift vaccination campaign on December 19 following an agreement with Pfizer that allowed Israel to quickly obtain millions of doses in exchange for biomedical data on the effect of the vaccine. According to the United Nations and non-governmental organizations, Israel has “an obligation”, as an “occupying” power, to “supply” vaccines to the 2.8 million Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and the 2 million inhabitants of the Gaza Strip, under Israeli blockade.

Honda has just unveiled the new Honda HR-V, the compact SUV, which for the first time will be available with a hybrid powertrain. As we reported last month, this Honda crossover will have the e: HEV powertrain. It consists of an electric generator and impeller, in addition to the heat engine. This new Honda HR-V will be available from the last quarter of 2021, adding to the hybrid range made up of the CR-V Hybrid and the Jazz and Crosstar utility vehicles. Thus, the Japanese brand is introducing this type of propulsion in different segments, now covering the medium SUV. But let's see what this Honda HR-V e: HEV really brings. The exterior design presents a big change from the predecessor model. Now it offers straighter lines, somewhat more square shapes and also minimalism. In addition, the front is characteristic because the main grille is not very open, the lower one being the largest air mouth. This achieves a more electric-style aesthetic. For its part, the side offers the typical SUV or crossover aesthetics with more pronounced wheel arches and protected underbody, but it is also true that it provides certain coupe airs due to the drop of the roof at the rear. It strikes me that the front pillars seem to be quite thin for what we are used to. Finally, the rear doors have the opening handle integrated into the C-pillar. To finish off the exterior, the rear area has a totally new style of lighting, using stylized lamps and communicated with each other by a red stripe that crosses the brand's logo. As in other hybrids, the Honda logo has a blue detail. Note that the Japanese firm is not afraid to show an escape route. Meanwhile, in the cabin we find a minimalist and simple design. The central area of the dashboard reminds us of the Honda Jazz, with a well-placed upper touch screen, as well as independent and intuitive controls for the climate control in a lower part. This design contributes to creating a more spacious cabin, at least at the level of perception. What the brand has not yet wanted to communicate about this new Honda HR-V Hybrid is its mechanics. In principle, it will use a 1.5-liter four-cylinder heat engine, but we do not know what power, torque and performance it will be able to develop once coupled to the electrical system, the details of which are also unknown.

Two-time world champion 125, Fausto Gresini, has worsened in his health due to Covid and according to reports on social networks, his team is "in extremely critical condition." The first hospitalization dates back to December 27, after his condition worsened as soon as he contracted the virus. Gresini alternated moments of improvement with worsening, caused by the complications of the important interstitial pneumonia caused by the infection. This past weekend, after a promising improvement, in which he even dropped out of ICU, conditions suddenly worsened. Gresini made his debut in 1982 and always competed in the junior class of the world championship, the 125cc. The first world title came to him in 1985 with Garelli: three victories (in Austria, Belgium and San Marino), five poles and 109 points. In 1987, however, the season of the masterpiece: he won 10 of the 11 races on the calendar (all except Portugal, in which he suffered a puncture while in the lead) and became 125cc champion again after scoring 150 points again with the Garelli. In 1988 an injury kept him away from racing and finally, the transition to Honda in 1990 with which he competed until 1994, did not bear the expected results, being the last season of his career in which he achieved 21 victories, 27 poles and 47 podiums. In 1997, in the vein of one of his great rivals, Jorge Martínez Aspar, he went over to the leadership of his own team, Gresini Racing, a paddock classic among independent teams. Gresini, a much-loved guy and classic self-made man, stands out for his contagious enthusiasm driven by intelligence and humility to start a new challenge every time a goal is reached and the ability to involve - through rationality. and passion - to your business partners. "At a certain point in my life I had to make a decision: to be an old driver or to become a young coach." The results speak for themselves: 5 titles won in 2001 with Daijiro Kato (250cc), 2010 with Toni Elías (Moto2), 2018 with Jorge Martin and Del Conca Team Gresini (Moto3), and 2019 with Matteo Ferrari (MotoE), the 55 victories and 170 podiums won, and also the MotoGP runner-up titles achieved three consecutive seasons, in 2003 and 2004 with Sete Gibernau and in 2005 with Marco Melandri plus 2018 with Fabio Di Giannantonio (Moto3). Gresini Racing has also been home to world-class champions like Alex Barros, Loris Capirossi, Colin Edwards and Marco Simoncelli. The last presentation, a few days ago without his presence, gave birth to two very different projects, but with a common denominator in the Italian-Indonesian flag for both categories, thanks to the partnerships with MP1 and Federal Oil, Moto2 and Moto3 with the Spanish Jeremy Alcoba as official driver.

One of the most repeated phrases by our grandmothers has always been that of: Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar. Despite the fact that if it were up to our grandmothers, we would be feeding ourselves 24 hours a day, they always emphasized the first meal of the day. Accustomed to a thousand morning chores, grandmothers have always seen breakfast as the fundamental pillar of any diet. Given that physical and mental wear and tear during the day tends to be strenuous, for them breakfast is the perfect occasion to obtain all the energy that we are going to get later. Like all phrases repeated ad nauseam, the real basis of its background is completely wrong (forgive us grandmothers). The constant repetition by our grandmothers of this phrase comes from the belief that calories and energy are necessary to last all day and that they are better eliminated throughout the day due to activity. According to this belief, those ingested at lunch and dinner accumulate at the last minute and are not burned. However, nutrition depends on many factors, such as hours of sleep, work, physical activity and even work hours. A person who works seated for most of the day does not need as much food first thing in the morning, while a person who exercises in the afternoon after leaving work or going to the gym at the last minute needs to regain strength at a snack or dinner. Food and schedules must be adapted to the lifestyle of each one and based on that, prepare a healthy and balanced menu. Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day, it is one more meal in which you have to include healthy foods and avoid bad practices, but it is true that if you have a well-balanced meal with proteins, healthy fats and fiber, you you're ready for a day full of energy and productivity. A poor breakfast choice can affect energy levels and eating habits for the rest of the day. To break myths and eat a diet with which not only to maintain the line, but with which to carry out healthy habits, we have spoken with Leandro Palomo, Head of Health and Safety at thyssenkrupp Home Solutions, who give us a brief review of what that should not be done in the first meal of the day. These are the top 10 breakfast mistakes that are false myths of healthy eating. "Enjoying a good breakfast is essential to start the day well, although it is not the most important meal, all of them are. But it is true that it is the one that helps us start the day with courage, strength and energy", he assures us Leandro Palomo. Skipping breakfast altogether Many people do not feel hungry when they wake up or are short on time and turn to drunk coffee. This is a very bad idea, because if you want to keep your hunger hormones in check and prepare yourself for a good mood, it is worth eating something to lay the foundation for a good day of food. "You have to try at least to take a small snack, such as a handful of walnuts, almonds or dried fruits, foods that contain a lot of proteins and fats in a small bite and that will fill you longer than you think", explains Leandro Palomo. Not spending enough time You don't always have time to sit for 30 minutes or more and enjoy a slow breakfast. But neither should you eat your food without thinking. "Eating in a hurry does not allow the body to catch up with the mind. You usually eat more when you are in a hurry because the satiety signals are not reached, and it seems that you are hungry, so you are more likely to continue eating after feeling full, "says the Thyssenkrupp Home Solutions expert. Relying on caffeine for energy Many believe that they are not fully awake until they have the first coffee of the day and that is why they resort to quick drunk coffee. "Coffee on an empty stomach can be too acidic for the body, the first sip should be taken after having eaten something", warns Leandro Palomo. Starting a day with a cup of caffeine can improve focus, endurance, and performance; however, excess sugar, cream or milk in the coffee will increase the number of calories, and the added sugars will cause a subsequent loss of energy. "A cup of coffee is a good energy boost but it must be taken into account that coffee is a stimulant and the body, when it gets used to it, demands more and more, so there are other options to have energy such as sleeping well, doing exercise and stay hydrated ", explains the expert. Not adding healthy fats Many breakfast foods are full of carbohydrates, such as industrial buns, sugary cereals, or cookies. These are low fiber foods that will trigger a spike in blood sugar and hunger in no time. Eating just low-fat yogurt or a small piece of toast may seem like healthy options, but they're not really. Fats are essential for a nutritious diet as they provide many health benefits; a meal without enough fat may leave you hungry. Incorporating healthy fats into your breakfast can help you stay energized longer. For example, avocado and olive oil are foods with healthy fats, accompanied by a slice of whole wheat bread can be the perfect breakfast or a low-fat yogurt accompanied by fruit, cereals or nuts to fill up. Choosing sweet foods for breakfast Lunches are rarely sweet, so why should breakfast foods be so sugary? Not only do we associate sweet flavors with our morning meal, but traditional breakfast foods like cereal and yogurt often hide tons of added sugar as well. "Avoid breakfast foods with added sugar and try to make traditional cereals salty. Oatmeal, for example, is delicious with a few drops of olive oil, Parmesan cheese, sea salt, and black pepper, or, if desired. wants to be more ingenious, you can mix avocado with Greek yogurt or cover it with cucumbers or tomato ", recommends Leandro Palomo. Eat only carbohydrates Carbohydrates are an important and healthy source of energy, but they are not the only thing the body needs to function at its best. Protein and fat take longer to burn out as fuel and keep you full longer. Having a good balance of protein, fat, and carbohydrates can keep your blood sugar from spiking. A piece of fruit is nutritious and can be great to eat with breakfast, but make sure to eat something else or risk being hungry soon after. And you have to be careful with cereals, another of the typical components of many breakfasts, cereal can be a surprising sugar bomb. Depending on the brand, more than half of each bowl could be made from sugar, and it's often paired with little protein. "Most people who eat cereals take twice as much as they should, a few cereals coupled with yogurt, milk or fruit is recommended. A good breakfast should be a mixture of protein and foods rich in fiber, for example, eggs with vegetables, Greek yogurt with fruits, nuts and seeds, a perfect combination to keep blood sugar stable and a full stomach ", explains the expert. Relying on eggs for protein Eggs, especially scrambled ones, are definitely an option in many breakfasts, but you don't have to eat them so much that they become a total drag. Many people avoid calories when they omit the yolks, but that is also a mistake, the yolk of the egg is where most of the nutrients are found: folic acid, vitamin D, iron ... You have to take the whole egg, but as everything in moderation, it is better to vary and each day take something different. Not drinking enough water in the morning Although most breakfasts include coffee, it is important to give your body the fluid it needs after a long, dry night. One of the first things to do every morning is to drink a glass of water, ideally with a little lemon. Sometimes thirst tricks us into thinking we are hungry, but if you stay hydrated from the beginning, it will be less likely to happen. Whether or not to drink juices for breakfast is a subject in permanent discussion. Although they are a comprehensive way to speed up your consumption of fruits and vegetables, they lack fiber, ultimately increasing hunger and drowsiness shortly after consumption. If the morning routine includes juices, they must be combined with an alternative that contains protein and fiber. Always drink skim milk Fat-free milk may seem like a virtuous option, but what is saved in calories is lost when the body cannot absorb its nutrients. The vitamins that milk is fortified with are fat soluble, so it is important to have some fat for those nutrients. Soy, almond, and coconut milk can be a healthy alternative to dairy milk, if versions with no added sugar are used. Not indulging in a craving A crucial part of a healthy diet is enjoyment, one does not eat for nutrition exclusively, good health implies enjoyment, experience and happiness. There are many foods that are not the best option for breakfast if you eat to provide energy and stay in shape, but if the purpose is to satisfy a craving or to eat to enjoy and be happy, cravings are actually a good option. You should not abuse unhealthy foods, but everything in its proper measure, the most important thing for good nutrition is balance and variety.

Laboratories are trying to adapt vaccines against the British, South African and Brazilian variant of the virus, all of which have been detected in the United States. On Monday, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which is the United States regulatory body in charge of approving coronavirus vaccines, recommended that the trials of those that are being adapted against the coronavirus mutations. In a series of recommendations, the FDA called for smaller trials, similar to those required for annual vaccines against the common flu, to tailor vaccines against the British, South African and Brazilian variants of the virus, all them detected in the United States. “Preliminary reports of clinical trials evaluating COVID-19 vaccine candidates in many countries, including South Africa, have added concern that the efficacy of vaccines against variant B.1.351 (the South African mutation) may be lower than against original virus, ”says a 24-page document posted on the US regulator's website. "Therefore," he adds, "there is an urgent need to start the development and evaluation of vaccines against these variants of SARS-CoV-2." Still, to get FDA approval, companies will need to submit new data showing an immune response similar to the original vaccine and that it is safe after testing for mutations. So far, the US has granted authorization for the emergency use of vaccines from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer and the biotechnology company Moderna. The sera of both use messenger RNA (mRNA in English) technology, which both Pfizer and Moderna claim can be used to modify existing vaccines in a period of six weeks to adapt them to new variants, although the tests and their manufacture can take longer. Moderna has already begun to develop a new version of its vaccine that could be used against the South African mutation, against which the existing ones are apparently not as effective. The FDA recommendation does not clarify whether vaccine adaptations are really necessary: although some mutations - especially the South African one - appear to make them less effective, current doses still offer protection and there are indications that they are reducing severity of the illness. And while he recommends that trials not be prolonged, he does propose that tests be carried out that require researchers to draw blood from a small group of volunteers who are given the new version of the vaccines and who observe who develop an immune response to mutations. The FDA will consider acceptable those vaccines that induce an immune response relatively similar to that caused by the original version. It also calls for possible side effects to be monitored, although the FDA notes that tailored vaccines can be tested in a single age group and then extrapolated to all other ages. The United States is the country in the world most affected by the pandemic with about half a million deaths and more than 28 million infected.
