Today, BMW has unveiled the new electric i4 and also a new SUV. Focusing on the latter, the BMW iX is positioned as a large and luxury electric SUV. It will hit the market at the end of this year 2021 as the brother of the X5 and X6, although with a totally different technology. The German brand qualifies it as the new flagship, being the first model based on the new set of future of the BMW Group. Let us know in the following lines all the technical details and the first two versions that have already been confirmed. BMW iX xDrive40 and BMW iX xDrive50 The access version at launch will be the BMW iX xDrive40. It develops a power close to 300 CV, as well as a range of more than 400 kilometers. It has four-wheel drive and, depending on the brand, can do 0 to 100 km / h in about 6 seconds. The approximate consumption is 20 kWh / 100 km. Meanwhile, the most powerful version will be called iX xDrive50. In this case we are talking about more than 500 CV, exceeding the 600 kilometers of range in the WLTP tests. Of course, it also has four-wheel drive and, in this case, for the clock below 5 seconds from 0 to 100. Its consumption is about 21 kWh / 100 km. In both cases the maximum speed is limited to 200 km / h. If we talk about batteries, the xDrive40 version has a gross capacity of around 70 kWh, while the more powerful variant exceeds 100 kWh. Fast charging up to 200 kW If you wonder about the recharging times, as always, they vary a lot from the installation where we are recharging the vehicle. In a domestic outlet or in a Wallbox it allows recharging at a power of up to 11 kW, estimating a full charge time of 8 hours for the less powerful version and about 11 hours for the more performance. In the case of fast charges, the BMW iX xDrive40 accepts up to 150 kW, increasing to 200 kW in the xDrive50. In this way, with about 10 minutes of recharging, about 100 or 120 kilometers of range are achieved. It can go from 10 to 80% of its capacity in just 40 minutes.

It is proven that the consumption of an egg daily improves the growth of an infant and reduces chronic malnutrition. The egg, thanks to its high nutritional value, has been named as the best food that a growing child can receive after breast milk, as well as being a great ally when it comes to fighting malnutrition. In Ecuador, one in three children under 2 years of age suffers from chronic malnutrition and egg protein, its nutrients and minerals fight this serious condition that affects infants in their physical development: by delaying adequate growth according to their age and cognitive as it compromises your academic achievements. The egg provides nutrients such as choline, important for brain development and the nervous system, regulates memory and people's mood; It contains vitamin B12, folates and other essential components for the brain and cognitive development of boys and girls. Among other benefits, the egg has vitamin C, necessary for tissue growth and repair; vitamin D, which helps the body absorb calcium; vitamin E, which converts food into energy; and, vitamin K, key to blood clotting and bone health. In addition, the yolk contains selenium, a natural antioxidant; sialic acid, anti-inflammatory and important for the functioning of cell membranes; and carotenes, which improve visual acuity. The National Corporation of Poultry Farmers of Ecuador (Conave), in accordance with the postulates of food sovereignty of the country, details the egg as a product that houses all the qualities that children need for their proper development. The nutritionist and health expert Sthefania Esparza reaffirms the thesis by commenting that it is a food full of proteins, good fats, and houses essential amino acids, which is why she recommends its daily consumption. Currently, Ecuador has the second highest rate in Latin America and the Caribbean, after Guatemala, with 27% of DCI in children from 0 to 2 years old and 23.9% in children under 5 years of age. Data that show, according to the vice president, that malnutrition is a development problem with several aspects and with structural and conjunctural causes, which is why they are developing a project to reach those communities whose children have high rates of malnutrition.

"Please respect the contract with Europe before you start supplying [doses] to other countries," said European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen threatened to block exports of AstraZeneca's coronavirus vaccine, if the bloc does not receive the promised doses first. “We have the option of suspending planned exports. This is our message to AstraZeneca: Please respect the contract with Europe before starting to supply [doses] to other countries, "said the official in an interview with the German press group Funke. Von der Leyen said that the British-Swedish laboratory AstraZeneca has only delivered 30% of the 90 million vaccines promised to the EU in the first quarter of the year. The company argued that it had production delays at its European factories, but European officials are making no secret of their outrage at AstraZeneca, which did manage to deliver all the promised doses to the UK. On Wednesday, Von der Leyen already threatened to tighten the conditions for vaccine exports to producing countries, for a matter of "reciprocity" and "proportionality." "All options are on the table," said the person in charge. "We are ready to use every tool we need to achieve this, and make sure that Europe has its fair share," she added. The president of the European Commission recalled that the EU contract with AstraZeneca provides for the delivery of doses produced in both the EU and the UK. "But we have not received anything from the British, even though we supplied them," argued Ursula von der Leyen, adding that the EU had sent a "formal letter" to complain to the Swedish-British pharmaceutical group. "I am unable to explain to European citizens why we export millions of doses of vaccines to countries that produce them themselves and do not return any to us," she added. The European Union adopted a vaccine export control mechanism in January, and last week extended the deadline for applying those rules until the end of June. Under this mechanism, companies that signed vaccine pre-sale contracts with the EU must obtain authorization to export doses outside the block. To prohibit the export of vaccines, the Member State where they are produced must initiate the procedure and then the Commission gives its approval. This mechanism has been applied once, in the case of Italy, which blocked the export of a shipment of 250,000 doses of the drug from AstraZeneca to Australia, arguing the "persistent shortage" of vaccines and "delays in supply" by the laboratory.

It is the first in a series of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) that the brand plans to launch in the next five years. For Kia, 2021 will be a key year, as it will not only present products based on its new values and corporate image, but also because it will officially begin its electric offensive. The first of these seven models that they intend to put on the streets before 2027 is the EV6, the first 100% electric and battery-powered electric vehicle that they manufacture, which will be the standard of a family of electric cars with which the Korean brand intends to consolidate itself in the future. The EV6 is an ambiguous car in its design conceptualization. It's bigger than a hatchback and much more urban than a crossover, just like Hyundai's Ioniq 5 from which it is derived. In fact, both models will use the group's new Global Electric Modular Platform (E-GMP), which will support all the electric models produced by the Korean conglomerate. Style The EV6 was conceived under the brand's new design philosophy: "Opposites United", which is inspired by contrasts of nature and humanity. At the center of the design philosophy lies a new visual identity that evokes positive forces and natural energy, which combines and contrasts with sharp stylistic elements and sculptural forms. "The EV6, as Kia's first dedicated electric vehicle, is a demonstration of progressive, human-centered design as well as electrified propulsion. We strongly believe that the EV6 is an attractive and relevant model for the new electric vehicle market. "says Karim Habib, Senior Vice President and Director of the Center for Global Design. "With the EV6 we aim to create a distinctive and striking design through a combination of high-tech and sophisticated features, in pure and rich volumes, while providing a unique space and a futuristic EV." Opposites united, in detail The "Opposites United" design philosophy begins with the EV6 and will serve as the basis for the styling of future Kia models. The brand explains it with the following concepts: Boldness by Nature: It is based on interaction with nature and is inspired by the details, shapes and proportions of the natural and human world. For vehicle interiors, this design pillar creates organic structures and finishes, but with technical support. The exterior designs are characterized by a combination of clean and simple lines, with bold and ever-changing surfaces. Joy from Reason - Focuses on the feel and atmosphere of future Kia vehicles. Those designs will fuse the emotional with the rational, creating vehicles that consider the mood of the passengers, relaxing them and inspiring them. It will also influence the adoption of new organic materials and bolder colors, which express a youthful and playful feeling. Power of progress: builds on the strengths of the brand's current design. Building on and developing the skills and knowledge acquired throughout Kia's recent transformational era, led by the design, style and configuration of the brand's future products will continue to evolve, drawing on the experience and creativity to conceive and innovate new designs. Technology for Life: Tackles new technologies and innovations to foster positive interactions between humans and machines. Future brand vehicles will embrace a next-generation user experience (UX) through design, innovation, advancements in lighting, feel and connectivity, helping customers engage with their car. Tension for serenity: evokes that tension generated by opposing forces, creative contrasts and confirms the balance of design that arises from two opposing impulses. It offers eye-catching design concepts that use sharp, highly technical details to create surface tension and bring a harmonious, future-oriented design vision to life. "We want our products to offer an instinctive and natural experience to improve the daily lives of our customers. Our goal is to design the physical experience of our brand and offer original, innovative and exciting electric vehicles. The ideas of our designers and the purpose of the brand are more connected than ever. Our customers are at the center of what we do and influence every decision we make, "adds Karim Habib. Outside At the front, the distinctive daytime running lights show a sleek and modern look. They are part of the car's "Digital Tiger Face", a design evolution that evokes the spirit of Kia's "Tiger Nose" for the electrified age. The design of the headlamps also includes a "sequential" dynamic light pattern. In the lower area, a low air intake visually enlarges the front of the vehicle. The flat floor, meanwhile, helps channel air for optimal aerodynamics. In profile, the EV6 displays a modern, sleek and aerodynamic aesthetic. This contrasts with the sharp lines and high-tech details to create a sense of tension in the design. A straight-lined windshield provides dynamism and purpose, while the rear extensions add volume. A character line runs along the bottom of the doors curving towards the rear wheel arches, visually lengthening the overall design. The rear shows a sloping rear pillar and with an integrated glossy black insert, which visually widens the window glass. On the roof is a spoiler that channels the air into a raised lower diffuser, located above the car's unique rear light cluster. The EV6 was designed between the three studios of Kia's global design network in Namyang (Korea), Frankfort (Germany) and Irvine (California, USA). It has some influences from the Futuron Concept, a model that anticipated the brand's new logo. Indoors What stands out most about the interior is its sense of habitability. Of course, we will also find a huge high definition curved screen for audio and navigation (AVN) that generates a very immersive experience. There are few buttons, just the right ones, which are rather tactile "pushbuttons" and which are to control the air conditioning. The seats are thin, light and fresh in design, lined with modern, visually interesting and robust fabrics, created from recycled plastics, which create more spaciousness in the cabin. The EV6 will debut worldwide this month. It will surely have a technical sheet similar to that of the Ioniq, with rear-wheel drive or AWD, a battery with 800v support and a range of more than 480 kilometers in its highest versions.

Expert stressed that the use of technology affects people's rest. Sleeping well for at least two days before applying the covid-19 vaccine can help to have a better response to immunization, a specialist explained to Efe on Thursday. "There are studies in which it has been shown that when you sleep well, at least two days before receiving a vaccine against influenza, or in this case, covid-19, we can generate a better number of antibodies," Guadalupe said in an interview Terán, specialist in sleep medicine. For World Sleep Day, which is celebrated every year on March 19, she explained that this means that people should try to get at least 7-9 hours of sleep a day to consider that they have had a good sleep. Protection against disease The also coordinator of the research area of the Sleep and Neurosciences Center, associated with the Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM), pointed out that having a good sleep also helps prevent chronic diseases. "Otherwise, they increase the chances of developing conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, heart attacks and obesity, among other cardiovascular and metabolic diseases," she explained. She pointed out that sleep serves to strengthen the immune system, so getting a good night's sleep can help you be less likely to get infected with COVID-19, plus it also works as an antioxidant, slowing down aging. In the case of children, she said, getting a good night's sleep helps them stay focused and have energy during the day, which is essential in the midst of the pandemic, where online classes require a high level of concentration. Pandemic increased insomnia The stress and uncertainty generated by the confinement forced by the coronavirus pandemic has led to the po[CENSORED]tion's lifestyle changes, and this is no different in terms of sleep and insomnia. Terán, who also serves as president of the Mexican Society for Sleep Medicine and Research, pointed out that according to a survey conducted by her team, insomnia has increased by 40% during the pandemic. "It is worrying, because at the beginning of the pandemic we did that survey and 18% of the po[CENSORED]tion was reported with insomnia, but now this number has grown considerably," she said. Sleep quality The specialist stressed that the use of technology affects people's rest, since every minute in front of electronic devices prolongs the time it takes to sleep and is the cause of night awakenings, so it is necessary to do without these devices at least 30 minutes before going to bed. She pointed out that people should maintain established hours to sleep, try to wake up early, exercise in the morning, avoid coffee, tea, cola and tobacco at night, among other stimulating substances. Similarly, the researcher asked to put aside the idea that sleeping is a waste of time. "Sleep is the possibility of restoring our body, balancing our system, recovering from diseases, detoxifying our body and increasing our life expectancy," she said.

Experts from the agency concluded that the drug is not associated with the growth of cases of thromboembolism. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) assured this Thursday that the AstraZeneca vaccine has no direct relationship with the cases of thromboembolism detected after vaccination with this drug in different European countries, and considered it safe to continue using it in immunization campaigns against COVID-19. The executive director of the EMA, Emer Cooke, considered that the experts reached a "clear scientific conclusion" that this vaccine is "benefiting and protecting" citizens against COVID-19 and "is not associated with the growth of cases ”Of thromboembolism, although a warning will be included in the product information to alert clinicians. Seven European states, including Germany, France or Spain, expanded the list of fifteen countries at the beginning of the week that have suspended the administration of this vaccine due to fear of reactions such as clot formation. The EMA, which had given the green light to the vaccine developed by the AstraZeneca laboratory and the University of Oxford on January 29, agrees with the World Health Organization (WHO), which on Wednesday recommended continuing to use the vaccine. This Thursday, the British Medicines and Health Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) also stated that it did not find any direct relationship between the AstraZeneca / Oxford and Pfizer / BioNTech vaccines and the formation of thrombi. The day before, the WHO also estimated that "for the moment, the balance of risks / benefits is in favor of the AstraZeneca vaccine", and recommended that "vaccination continue".

Toyota's Aygo model hit the market for the first time in 2005, thus becoming the access product for the Japanese company. As many of you know, segment A, small and utility cars, must be reinvented, since it is increasingly difficult for brands to make an economic profit from these products due to European anti-pollution regulations. Many manufacturers have decided to throw in the towel, but not all. For a long time we had doubts whether Toyota would launch a new generation of its urban Toyota Aygo. This prototype created by the European Center for Design and Development of Toyota (ED2), based in Nice, France, makes its intentions clear. Yes, Aygo will have a generational replacement for segment A. The Japanese firm has presented just a few moments ago the Toyota Aygo X Prologue. It is a concept that redefines the style of the model, with the aim of landing on the European market and continuing to be the most successful model in the A segment. The brand says that with it “it shows that access cars can stand out with an outstanding design ”. A new Toyota Aygo that does not lose its essence In addition, his idea continues to focus on the fact that a car of this size and characteristics should have style, character and attractive driving dynamics. To this must be added that a good part of the target audience for this type of vehicle is usually young people, whose major trips are through urban areas. Logically, the economic price should not be lost to succeed. In this way, Toyota wanted to give an extra touch of character to the prototype. Look at the aggressive, technological and youthful design of the car. Without a doubt, it has a lot of personality; although we must not forget that, if it reaches production, there will be changes that make it simpler and more logical. For example, I doubt very much that it is marketed with tires of such large dimensions. At the design level, the Toyota Aygo X Prologue has a new roof line, very striking front and rear light optics, a crossover style with raised bodywork and a large glass surface, especially in the front half of the car. By the way, the rear bumper houses a bike rack. Best of all, despite being a totally different car, it maintains many features of the current Aygo. To draw our attention even more, it is presented with a body in a two-color finish. And is that the Japanese firm has put a lot of effort in this section. In fact, the bodywork has metallic blue pigments mixed with the base paint, giving a characteristic effect. Toyota has called this termination "Sparkling Red Chili." Everyone deserves a great car. When I look at the Aygo X Prologue I am very proud to say that the ED2 team believed exactly that. I'm excited to see him revolutionize the segment. Unlike many others, it will have a combustion engine On what the brand has not spoken at all in the presentation of this Toyota Aygo X Prologue is in the mechanical section. However, a couple of weeks ago they reported that "the installation of an internal combustion engine will maintain the accessibility of the new model." The current model is manufactured together with PSA, but that collaboration agreement has ended. In this way, Toyota will turn to the modular TNGA platform, building its own model at will. We also do not know if there will be any type of electrification, but we doubt it because it would increase the final price of the product. The advantage of Toyota is that they do have their homework done in the area of CO2 emissions, so they can allow strategies and movements that other manufacturers cannot consider. These other manufacturers are directly changing the approach completely. They keep the size small, but go for complete electrification, which translates to twice the price of their combustion-engined predecessors. Obviously, this makes it difficult to directly sell a car of just 3.6 meters in length to a private customer.

Vitamins are substances that we ingest through food. Vitamins are essential substances that are obtained through food. Unlike proteins and carbohydrates, vitamins are micronutrients because they are needed in small amounts. What happens when vitamin C is lacking? Naval explorations from the 15th to the 18th centuries, and also from earlier times, were fatal for thousands of sailors, due to vitamin deficiency, that is, the lack or deficiency of a vitamin in the body. According to the nutritionist Arantza Ruiz, the lack of vitamin C can produce oral alterations with weakness and bleeding of the gums and loss of teeth, anemia, bleeding and delayed wound healing, dermatological and hair alterations, decreased rhythm of growth, increased infections, fractures, etc. For a long time, sailors who made long ocean voyages faced the uncertainty of not returning due to a lack of vitamin C, because after suffering from scurvy they had cracked skin with ulcerations, bleeding gums, loose teeth, and body gave off a foul odor. James Lind was an 18th century Scottish surgeon who is credited with having done the first controlled clinical trial, in which he proved that sailors could recover by including lemons and oranges in their diet. The two fruits are currently defined as having equivalent amounts of vitamin 😄 100 grams of each of these fruits contain about 50 milligrams. Unlike mandarin, which contains about half the vitamin C per 100 g: just 27 milligrams. Other fruits, such as pineapple, provide approximately 50 milligrams of vitamin C in 100 grams. The nutritional recommendation is to ingest the recommended daily amount of vitamin C for adults (75-90 mg), we should eat either: three medium tangerines, or a large orange, or two slices of pineapple.

On Monday it had been suspended due to logistical issues from the Ministry of Health. Starting at 08:00 this Wednesday, March 17, the vaccination process will be reactivated at the convention center of the Espiritu Santo University of Specialties (UEES), after a logistical adjustment carried out by the Ministry of Health (MSP) from the last Monday. The institution indicated that 2,465 will be applied to professionals from the schools of Physicians, Dentists, Pharmaceutical Chemists, Physiotherapists, Obstetricians, Anesthesiologists and Nurses, as well as to older adults considered in accordance with the phase 1 list of the Ministry of Health. It was also indicated that the process will continue on Thursday 18 and it is intended to apply 19,000 doses. The suspension of care occurred after the opening of an investigation into databases of the Rotary Club and the Lions Club provided to Zonal Coordination 8 and 9, respectively, which were included in the Vaccine Plan in phase 1. For this reason , they separated the zonal coordinator 8 and 9. In addition, the discomfort of health personnel who was going to be vaccinated has been reported, despite being on the list, since they had COVID-19 at the beginning of the pandemic and they did not want to apply the respective dose. Major Pancho Hansen Vik, corporate director of the UEES health system, explained that they do not know who is on the vaccination lists, they only receive the information one night before to let them enter through the sentry box.

Toyota confirmed during the past year 2020 the launch of a new model for the B-SUV segment, using the platform of the newly renovated Toyota Yaris. A few months later, in full confinement due to the Covid pandemic, the Japanese brand virtually presented its Toyota Yaris Cross to us. That has been almost a year and, logically, the coronavirus crisis has not helped to accelerate the processes precisely. However, Toyota Spain summoned us yesterday to come to its headquarters and see first-hand the new Toyota Yaris Cross. We could see it live, touch it, get on and ask anything we wanted about it. So here we go. Bigger with the subway, and much more in its visual impact The Toyota Yaris Cross looks much more robust and larger than the plain Yaris. Specifically, it is 24 centimeters longer, 9 taller and 2 centimeters wider. Live, it is appreciated even more, the truth. Of course, the wheelbase is maintained. The specific dimensions are 4.18 meters in length, 1.76 in width, 1.56 in height and 2.56 meters of battle. Beyond the proportions, at the design level there is no doubt that it will work. Toyota wanted to differentiate it well from the Yaris. They didn't want it to look like just a taller Yaris, and they really did. It is a new model that brings its own personality, with bumpers, headlights, lights, wheel arches and all its own details. Where it hardly changes visually is inside. It maintains the style seen in its brother in the line of the dashboard, using the same steering wheel, center console, main controls and even the transmission knob. As a curiosity, the unit that Toyota exposed us was all-wheel drive, so a selector of specific driving modes appears in the central area. How spacious is this new Toyota Yaris Cross? At the level of finishes I cannot comment on anything because the specific unit was a pre-series, so it has not passed the relevant quality controls or has all the finishing finishes that will be carried by the models that arrive at the dealerships. What we can talk about is habitability, and here it improves the Yaris in many ways. Probably if we take a meter there is not so much real difference in the rear seats, but a few centimeters of height are gained, that is, of space for the head. The exposed unit had a panoramic roof and still felt more comfortable than its little brother. It also helps that access to the rear seats is much better, and also that the rear windows are considerably larger. Nor will it be the most spacious of its rivals, that must be clear. And it is that the hollow for the knees is still not as generous as we would like. In the end, as they have not been able to stretch the battle, that height for the rear occupants has hardly changed. Anyway, there is more of a feeling of space than in the Toyota Yaris and, beware, in the Toyota C-HR. The boot capacity is also notably increased, reaching up to 400 liters. It is a good fact that places it at the height of rivals such as the Seat Arona and above leading models, such as the Hyundai Kona. The trunk of the Toyota Yaris Cross is also wider than that of the C-HR, which invites us to think that it could steal more than one and two sales from its range partner. Same efficient 116 hp hybrid engine In principle, this new Yaris Cross will only be marketed in Europe with a 116 hp non-plug-in hybrid mechanical version, based on a 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol engine. As usual in these hybrid cars from the Japanese manufacturer, it works on the Atkinson cycle. The novelty is that it will be available both with front-wheel drive, and with a four-wheel drive version called hybrid AWD-i. For the latter, one more electric motor is used, which is located on the rear axle. It is not a high performance engine, but it will help to overcome difficult situations or low grip. According to Toyota, and although the figures are still pending approval, official consumption will range between 4.6 and 5 liters per 100 kilometers. For its part, emissions will be between 103 and 110 g / km in the single-wheel drive variants, increasing to 107-112 g / km in the all-wheel drive. Safety hand in hand with Safety Sense You already know that Toyota is committed to a good endowment of equipment from the lowest finishes, especially in the safety section. Thus, the brand confirms that in Spain the structure will be very similar to that of the Yaris, sharing the latest version of the Toyota Safety Sense. Among other things, it will have a pre-collision safety system, pedestrian and cyclist detection, obstacle control at intersections, emergency steering assistance, adaptive cruise control, signal recognition, warning of involuntary lane change, trajectory maintenance in the lane and intelligent control of high beams. Marketing and market arrival of the Toyota Yaris Cross The Japanese firm has not wanted to give specific and exact dates, but it has made it clear that the Toyota Yaris Cross will begin its pre-sale phase this spring; that is, from a few weeks. At that time the final price of the car should be made official, which is still a mystery although we can assure that it will play in the range between the normal Yaris and the C-HR. And despite the fact that reservations will begin shortly, it will not be until the last quarter of this year 2021 when the Yaris Cross begins to be seen on the streets and in dealerships in our country. Toyota has not wanted to "catch the fingers", but it has told us that it is probably rather near the end of the year when the first deliveries begin.

A balanced immune system is key to protecting your body from disease. In a year turned upside down by COVID-19, it seems our immune systems have received more attention than ever. However, many unhealthy behaviors brought on by the pandemic make it difficult for our bodies to fight infection. But, first of all, how does the immune system work? According to a publication from the German Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Healthcare, when the body has come into contact with a germ that causes disease for the first time, the immune system stores information about the germ and how to fight it. When the immune system cannot fight these microbes so easily, the disease begins to manifest itself. Many of the symptoms you experience will actually be caused by your immune system's reaction to invading substances. Often times, once your body has successfully fought off an infection, it will remember how to fight it, so the next time you come in contact with those germs, you won't get sick. This is true for chickenpox, for example. This means that if we have a weak immune system, we can get infections more often than most people, and these diseases can be more serious or more difficult to treat. There is no magic immune system booster that will boost your defenses overnight, but there are things you can do to protect your immune cells, which could reduce your vulnerability to infection. Taking care of yourself in body and mind is the best way to improve immunity, and the better your immune system works, the better your entire body will function. Eat properly Eating a healthy and balanced diet is one of the most important things you can do to take care of your body. Focus on whole foods, eating from all the key food groups, and avoid foods that are too salty, fatty, sugary, or processed. There are certain foods that are believed to be particularly good for boosting immunity, but actually the most important thing is to eat a lot of different healthy foods in order to get various nutrients. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that fights free radicals in the body. This vital nutrient is found in many foods, not just citrus. It is also found in green leafy vegetables, bell peppers, strawberries, carrots, and many more fruits and vegetables. Vitamin E is another powerful antioxidant that helps your body fight infection. Find it in spinach, broccoli, almonds, peanuts, and hazelnuts. Vitamin B6 is essential for your immune system. Bananas, tuna and chickpeas are rich in this nutrient. A daily dose of vitamin D is one of the few things you may need a supplement for, although eating fatty fish (or fortified cereals and spreads) and exposure to sunlight does help.

So far Italy, the Netherlands, Ireland, Bulgaria, Denmark, Norway and Iceland have taken the same action. Several European countries, including Germany, France, Italy and Spain, have today decided to preventively suspend vaccination against the coronavirus with the preparation of the Anglo-Swedish company AstraZeneca after the detection of several cases of thrombosis and the death of one of the affected people, a Norwegian health worker, hospitalized after receiving the first dose. In any case, the countries that have suspended the application of the AstraZeneca vaccine have left the final decision in the hands of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), which will make a specific decision on the matter on the 18th. For the moment, the countries that have decided to suspend vaccination with the AstraZeneca preparation are Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Ireland, Spain, Bulgaria, Denmark, Norway and Iceland, while Austria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Luxembourg withdrew a specific lot when detecting cases of thrombosis. The EMA recommended last week to continue administering the preparation - about which from the beginning there were doubts about its effectiveness - considering that "the benefits" continued to "outweigh the risks." Germany awaiting the opinion of the EMA The decision of the German Government follows a recommendation from the Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI), competent in the matter, which considers that it is necessary to verify the potential relationship between this vaccine and the new cases of thrombosis registered in Europe after its inoculation. However, the German Ministry of Health pointed out that it will in any case be the European Medicines Agency that ultimately decides "if this new information affects the authorization of the vaccine and in what way." The German Minister of Health, Jens Spahn, stressed today that the suspension of the AstraZeneca vaccine is "preventive" and stressed that it is an "absolutely technical and not political" decision with important repercussions, in which the safety of the po[CENSORED]tion and "transparency" and stressed that there are "very few" cases with problems. Spahn stressed that it is also important to weigh the effect of suspending the use of this vaccine due to the cases of thrombosis that have been detected, since "not vaccinating also has a cost." France temporarily suspends vaccination with the drug French President Emmanuel Macron announced today that France is temporarily suspending the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine, pending the opinion of the EMA. Macron clarified that the decision, which follows the one taken this Monday by other European countries, has been taken as a precaution and following the recommendation of the French Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, in coordination with the French health authorities. "We hope to be able to resume it quickly, if the opinion of the EMA allows it," added the French head of state. The benefit-risk is still considered positive and we do not see any problem in continuing the vaccination campaign with it ”, explained Cavaleri in the European Parliament.
