  16. Over 2,400 soldiers from eight states, 18 battleships and 10 aircraft participate, between March 19 and 29, in "Sea Shield 21" - the largest and most complex multinational NATO exercise organized and led by the Romanian Naval Forces, in year 2021, in the Black Sea area, on Saturday taking place, in the port of Constanţa, the official opening of the exercise, according to Agerpres. "Sea Shield 21" aims to develop the interoperability of allied forces in all combat environments - sea, submarine, land and air. Foreign military ships docked in the port of Constanta between March 17 and 19, for a stopover to restore combat capability and to prepare the latest organizational details. According to the representatives of the General Staff of the Naval Forces (SMFN), the training activities are led by the Fleet Command, the participating forces being from Bulgaria, Greece, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, the United States of America and Turkey. A cruiser, a destroyer, frigates, corvettes, dragoons and minesweepers, missile carriers, a patrol vessel and maritime tugs will join forces to carry out, as of March 22, the planned sea sequences of "Sea Shield 21 ”, And the fight against air threats will be ensured by F-16 Fighting Falcon, MiG 21 Lancer and IAR-330 helicopters of the Romanian Air Force and Naval Forces, together with“ Eurofighter Typhoon ”fighter jets from Spain and air research aircraft from USA and Turkey. The head of the SMFN, Rear Admiral Mihai Panait, mentioned that "there are series every day, from artillery fire to submarine search exercises, to ship discovery and attack exercises or aviation exercises". Two of America's most powerful warships are taking part in the exercise Two of America's most powerful warships are taking part in the exercise, both with missiles and naval targets on board. "The USS Monterey and USS Thomas Hudner are participating in the exercise and, together with the entire team, are working to build capable submarine forces and help develop allied combat tactics," said US Navy Admiral Jeff Spivey. According to the SMFN, in the coastal area, three mobile missile launch detachments of the Romanian Naval Forces and a battery of coastal missiles of the Polish Naval Forces will act in conjunction with Capu Midia, to repel enemy forces. Polish sailors are taking part in the "Sea Shield 21" exercise for the first time with a "Kongsberg" mobile surface-to-air missile system. The land sequences of "Sea Shield 21" are complemented by the exercise of operational procedures for the protection of land routes and the port of Constanta, in which participates a detachment of military divers specializing in the fight against improvised explosive devices (EOD) together with an infantry platoon of the Romanian Land Forces.

  22. Hello, Please, Have you copied and pasted Prodexor's Application? Or what happened to you? Some will say that I'm making an argument just because of a word. Let me say that you might be rejected on your dream job just because of your eyes' contact with your Interviewer. It's not about a word. It's about mindset and the way of thinking. About your activity, It's not good enough. I know that the GFX project is a special one and requires too much time and work. But we have many members from the staff who joined other projects next to the GFX project. My vote for the main time is CONTRA; I think you have to improve your activity out of your current project. 26. About 180 million years ago, an eight-armed predator seized its underwater prey — another eight-armed beastie — and began to nibble on it, until disaster struck and they both died from suffocation, a new study finds. The shale slab holding this duo's fossilized remains preserved imprints of their soft tissues in "exceptional" detail, the researchers wrote in the study, published online March 16 in the Swiss Journal of Palaeontology. An analysis of the slab reveals that their last moments together ended in an "eternal embrace," the team said. "We assume that the predator was so happy about its catch that it did not realize that it was sinking," said study first author Christian Klug, a curator at the University of Zurich's Palaeontological Museum and a professor at its Palaeontological Institute. "It probably wound up in the oxygen-poor water layers, suffocated, died and was embedded in the soft mud." Related: Gallery: Vampire squid from hell Amateur collector Dieter Weber found the slab holding the imprints in an abandoned quarry opposite a golf club in Ohmden, a municipality in southern Germany. The fossilized creatures on the slab were positioned with the predator's arms enclosed around the smaller prey, he found. After preparing the fossil, Weber sold the piece to one of the researchers, who then donated it to the State Museum of Natural History Stuttgart. When these creatures were alive during the early Jurassic period, the region was a marine basin that extended across much of Central Europe, and "the bottom waters were often poor in oxygen," Klug told Live Science in an email. Photos (A and B) of the fossil in different lights with an illustration (C) of the two early Jurassic vampyromorphs. Photos (A and B) of the fossil in different lights and an illustration (C) of the two early Jurassic vampyromorphs. (Image credit: Klug C. et al. 2021; Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)) Both of the ancient creatures are members of Octobrachia, a group of eight-armed cephalopods that includes the octopus, argonaut (deep-sea shelled octopus also known as the paper nautilus) and vampire squid — an animal that got its eerie name from its cape-like skin that connects its arms, but is neither a blood-sucker nor a squid. In particular, both of the Jurassic animals are vampyromorphs, ancient relatives of the modern-day vampire squid (Vampyroteuthis infernalis), Klug said. "The vampyromorphs have eight arms plus — as we also show here — a pair of filaments, which sort of look like thick spaghetti that were cooked for a bit too long," Klug told Live Science in an email. "These filaments are actually used to catch prey." A magnified photo and illustration of the prey that was nibbled on before it died with its predator. A magnified photo (left) and an illustration (right) of the prey that was nibbled on before it died. (Image credit: Klug C. et al. 2021; Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)) Today, vampire squid eat detritus, plankton and other small prey. But, as this specimen shows, "obviously, the larger species [of vampyromorph] was quite a predator," Klug said. After analyzing the specimen, the researchers determined that the larger, 18-inch-long (47 cm) octobrachian is probably Jeletzkyteuthis coriacea. The smaller octobrachian is likely Parabelopeltis flexuosa, which at about 6.5 inches (16.7 cm) long, is less than 40% the length of the predator that tried to eat it.

On Friday, Oscar Mayer announced that it has created bacon-scented shoelaces and will be giving them away to fans for a new sweepstake. The brand — famous for its processed meats and Wienermobile — launched the giveaway on social media on Friday to celebrate Nike’s Air Max Day, when the shoe company re-released its Air Max Bacons. "Happy #AirMaxDay," Oscar Mayer tweeted Friday. "To celebrate the re-release of the Air Max Bacons, we're dropping bacon scented laces that'll make your kicks sizzle." According to the contest rules, Oscar Mayer will be giving away 1,500 pairs of the scented shoelaces. Fans who are 18 or older just have to tweet the hashtags #OscarCookMyKicks and #Sweepstakes before April 1 to enter. Winners will be randomly selected "on or about" April 2, the contest rules say. "There are few things better than the delicious smell of freshly cooked Oscar Mayer bacon, but you shouldn’t have to turn on the stove to fill your nostrils with the heavenly scent," Megan Lang, Oscar Mayer’s associated director said in a statement, per Thrillist. 28. Electrification is inevitable, even for automakers you won't normally associate with electric vehicles. Gone were the days when electric vehicles were seen as stale and unexciting machines – even a vehicle as robust and tough as the Jeep Wrangler now has an electrified model that was introduced last year. But the Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid has a problem – it has received a disappointing all-electric range from U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The off-roader can only run solely in batteries up to 21 miles (34 kilometers), compared to the expected 25 miles (40 km). Gallery: Jeep 4xe Charging Stations Jeep 4xe Charging Stations 9 Photos To solve this problem, Stellantis has announced that it will be putting up charging stations on the trailheads of three po[CENSORED]r off-roading sites, namely in Moab, Utah; the Rubicon Trail in Pollock Pines, California; and Big Bear, California. The charging stations will be located near Jeep Badge of Honor trails, which were created in cooperation with Electrify America and expected to open this spring. These stations will either be directly connected to the power grid or as the images suggest, will use solar power to generate electricity. Jeep 4xe owners will need to login via a custom mobile app by Electrify America to unlock free charging. The app also allows owners to initiate and monitor the charging session. Thinking about it, installing charging stations on trailheads is a good thing as hikers who will park their Jeep 4xes and will hike can benefit from the extra juice slowly fed into the battery of their plug-in hybrids. Of note, the trailhead chargers will deliver Level 2 (240-volt) charging, which can fully charge the Wrangler 4xe's 17 kWh battery pack in around two hours. Apart from the trailhead chargers, the Jeep 4xe charging network will expand this year, with locations to be announced in the future.

  29. The large container ship trapped in the Suez Canal could be dislodged as soon as Saturday, the vessel's Japanese owners have said. Yukito Higaki, president of Shoei Kisen, told a news conference on Friday that 10 tugboats had been deployed to dredge the banks and canal bottom. The US has also offered to send help, including a team of US Navy experts. The Ever Given became wedged in the canal on Tuesday, forcing companies to reroute ships around Africa. The blockage has also caused a huge traffic jam of more than 200 ships in the Red Sea. Mr Higaki told a press conference in the western Japanese city of Imabari that they were "continuing work to remove sediment as of now, with additional dredging tools". He added that crews were hoping to dislodge the ship as early as Saturday evening Tokyo time, the Asahi Shimbun newspaper reported. Satellite image from Maxar Technologies showing the Ever Given in Egypt's Suez Canal (26 March 2021) IMAGE COPYRIGHTMAXAR TECHNOLOGIES image captionThe Ever Given is almost as long as Manhattan's Empire State Building is high "The ship is not taking water," he said. "There is no problem with its rudders and propellers. Once it refloats, it should be able to operate. "We are continuing work to remove sediment as of now, with additional dredging tools." Meanwhile Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM), the ship's technical manager, said on Friday that an attempt to refloat the vessel had failed. A specialised suction dredger, which can shift 2,000 cubic metres (70,000 cubic feet) of material every hour, arrived on site on Thursday, it added. White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki also said the US had offered assistance to get the Suez Canal reopened, and that they were "tracking the situation very closely". Joe Reynolds, chief engineer of the Maersk Ohio, told the BBC on Friday that the number of vessels waiting at the canal's southern entrance was "growing exponentially". "It's going to affect shipping schedules around the world," he warned. The 400m-long (1,300ft), 200,000-tonne vessel ran aground on Tuesday morning in high winds and a sandstorm that affected visibility. Specialist salvage companies have been brought in to help refloat the ship, and an adviser to Egypt's president had said he hoped the situation would be resolved within two to three days. But experts have said it could take weeks if the vessel's containers need to be removed. 'Our customers are worried about the Suez blockage' How do you refloat a giant cargo ship? In pictures: Efforts to shift huge ship from canal About 12% of global trade passes through the 193km (120-mile) canal, which connects the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea and provides the shortest sea link between Asia and Europe. Map showing alternative route for shipping while Suez Canal blocked 1px transparent line How the stranded Ever Given is affecting shipping in the Suez Canal Tap or click for more details Source: VesselsValue 1px transparent line John Denholm, president of the UK Chamber of Shipping, told the BBC that if the diggers and tugs were not successful, salvage teams would have to start the slow process of "lightering" the ship - transferring its cargo to another vessel or the canal bank. That would involve bringing in specialist equipment, including a crane that would need to stretch more than 60m (200ft) high, he said. "If we go through the lightering process, I suspect we're talking weeks."

  30. Intel has started to publish documents related to its upcoming Discrete Graphics 2 (DG2) GPUs based on the Xe-HPG microarchitecture, inadvertently revealing some of their specifications. As expected, Intel's Xe-HPG family looks like it'll include multiple models and compete across desktops and laptops and different levels of performance. In order to prepare for a new product launch, Intel not only has to send various samples to its partners, but it also has to publish extensive documentation about the parts. Usually, such documents are hidden in password-protected sections of Intel's website, but a simple search of the term "discrete graphics2" revealed dozens of documents about Intel's DG2 family, as well as some of its specifications, as spotted Friday Twitter leakers @momomo_us and @Komachi_Ensaka. According to the newfound documents, Intel's DG2 lineup will include at least five different models for notebooks and at least two models for desktops. For some reason, notebook GPUs are referred to as SKU1 through SKU5; whereas, desktop graphics processors are called SoC1 and SoC2. The new GPUs will support a PCIe 5.0 interface, GDDR6 memory running at 14 GT/s or 16 GT/s, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB Type-C, according to Intel's documents. However, it is unclear whether all the capabilities will be enabled on all SKUs. Based on names of the documents that Intel has made available to its partners, the company and its allies are currently testing five mobile DG2 graphics processors with 96 execution units (EUs), 128 EUs, 256 EUs, 384 EUs and 512 EUs. Meanwhile, the desktop-oriented SoC1 is believed to feature 512 EUs. (Image credit: Intel) Since Intel's DG2 products are based on the yet-to-be-revealed Xe-HPG architecture tailored for gaming graphics processors, it's hard to estimate how the new graphics solutions from Intel will stack up against existing DG1 product or the best graphics cards from AMD and Nvidia. Assuming this is the full lineup, it's a bit odd to see Intel prepare a relatively broad lineup of GPUs for notebooks and only two graphics processors for desktops. It's possible that Intel plans on revealing more desktop GPU models (with more EUs, perhaps). It's also possible that the company will try to address a sweet spot niche of the gaming graphics cards market with a limited number of offerings.

  31. There is a huge variety of ecommerce platform packages from which to choose, so building an online store has never been easier. To begin, first you'll need ecommerce web hosting, which is to say hosting that will scale up with your business without interruption. Next you'll need shopping cart software to run with your ecommerce site. This will probably include a payment gateway for credit card processing, though if you're already established and have a decent enough credit rating you could apply for merchant services to reduce transaction costs. Your ecommerce website doesn't have to be expensive to design, either, as there are plenty of ecommerce themes available. Additionally, if you also have a bricks-and-mortar store than a Point of Sale (POS) system for mobile credit card processing can be particularly desirable. Which ecommerce software is best for your business depends entirely on your specific requirements. If you're an online-only outfit, then POS integration won't be necessary, but you may get a lot of business from overseas, in which case foreign currency support would be a requirement. In this article, we’re going to highlight some of the best ecommerce platforms available right now, before moving on to consider other options you might want to explore in terms of creating your own ecommerce solution. Wix is our top-rated ecommerce platform If you want a simpler alternative to some of the full-on web store building solutions here, check out Wix. It’s highly user-friendly, yet there’s still plenty of ecommerce power available to create a suitably impressive online store. Wix may be better known for providing an all-purpose website builder, but it's not just templates and logos that Wix can provide, but also a fully-functional ecommerce platform. While other platforms are known for their complexity in being able to deliver an ecommerce platform for all needs, Wix offers a much simpler solution for small businesses who don't need all the bells and whistles of an online megastore. Additionally, because of the suite of website building tools available through Wix, setting up an ecommerce platform is really simple and easy to do, and just as easy to manage, with no coding skills required. The result is a platform that anyone should be able to use without too much difficulty. There are over 500 templates available to help you get the look and feel you need for your ecommerce site, and along with inventory management, you can also use Wix payments to choose from a global network of payment providers, including all major credit card companies, as well as other services such as PayPal and Stripe. Overall, if you want a simpler alternative to some of the full-on web store building solutions here, Wix delivers well. It’s highly user- Rather than being a standalone ecommerce platform, WooCommerce is a free plugin that can turn your Wordpress website into a fully functional ecommerce website. The basic WooCommerce plugin is easy to install through Wordpress, and even better is that the plugin is free to download and use. However, to get the most from WooCommerce you will need to install a number of third-party plugins. This is to add features such as payment processing, inventory management, and stock control. Bluehost simplifies the process by providing a read-made Woocommerce platform with everything you need already installed, and that includes a shopping theme and essential plugins. Although two different plans are offered, even the Standard plan offers almost every feature you could possibly need. Features include not just the online store with the store-front theme installed but also a blog, along with Jetpack free, payment processing, email marketing, and discount codes. The Premium plan adds online bookings and appointments, subscriptions, product customization, as well as local & country tax management. Of course, there's web hosting undlying everything as well, meaning that you have a fully functional ecommerce platform already online as soon as you sign up to Bluehost - all that's left for you is to add your products and set up marketing and you're good to go. All in all Woocommerce is one of the best ecommerce platforms for those looking to ease themselves into starting an online retail business, whether for physical products or even digital ones, and the web hosting platform deal provided by Bluehost makes it incredibly simple to get started.

  32. Genesis Noir (PC [reviewed], Nintendo Switch, Xbox One) Developer: Feral Cat Den Publisher: Fellow Traveller Released: March 26, 2021 MSRP: $14.99 First and foremost, Genesis Noir has style. At some points, its style literally oozes across the screen as the protagonist gets swept up in cosmic hijinks and surreal, distorted voids of space and time. Stars twinkle and morph into the silhouettes of characters, and different shapes morph from one into another. It's really something else to watch this game in motion, even more so when you start mani[CENSORED]ting it. After a short intro, No Man pulls out a number scrawled on a napkin, accentuated with a smack of lipstick. Taking control of him, you dial the number and head over to an apartment, only to find the captivating jazz singer Miss Mass and saxophonist Golden Boy, as the latter is firing a gun at the former. This is the Big Bang. It is the event you'll spend the next few hours of Genesis Noir attempting to halt, and prevent the star—rather, Miss Mass—from dying out. Genesis Noir really revels in the double-speak that fans of film noir will be accustomed to. It's a hard-boiled mystery, but rather than tracking clues through speakeasies and alleyways, you're venturing the cosmos—which do, sometimes, take the shape of speakeasies and alleyways, just surreal cosmic interpretations. Most of the story is unspoken and inferred. Most of the relationship between No Man, Miss Mass, and Golden Boy is inferred through imagery and symbols. Outside of item descriptions and some dialogue later in the game, Genesis Noir is shown, not told. Visuals like a legendary musician building up an adoring crowd, then lamenting their absence help inform you who these characters are, and what might have led to the events of the night you're trying to prevent. It's a simple but extremely effective way of drawing the player in, and I was hooked on every twist and turn, theorizing what a clue I found in the cosmic slipstream might mean for the history of these characters. Finding these pieces of evidence through individual vignettes is also a visual treat. Genesis Noir is simply striking. It looks incredible in stills and manages to maintain the style in motion, even as it jumps between different styles and settings. The sharp lines of the 1950s can be contrasted against the vast beauty of the cosmos, and then again in comic panel cutaways. Though it plays out in a predominantly black-and-white color scale, colors are used to denote specific points of interest, or to add a little flair to certain objects. Genesis Noir is built like a traditional adventure game similar to Grim Fandango. Rather than one large world, it's broken up into individual vignettes, where you walk around trying to find ways to move forward and engage with the occasional puzzle, usually thematic one-shots for each area you're in, like tuning a radio or mimicking an upright bass player's improvisations with your own, all in order to progress forward through the cosmic dream and acquire more evidence. Some of these puzzles get a little more complex, and without dialogue to explain them, they can get frustrating. Usually there are environmental cues to push you in the right direction, but there are at least a few that had me brute-forcing answers. The mouse controls were also not great in these parts—fine-tuning a radial knob or even just spinning the landscape would feel a bit off. The path to the end is mostly straightforward, as you work your way across the cosmos and through the history of humanity, all the way from the birth of the universe to humanity's discovery of God particles and interstellar travel. It's fascinating how the game paints the main narrative alongside concepts like the Kardashev scale and the Big Crunch, but it really does work. No Man's story can feel massive in scale, even if he's just hunting for a way to save someone, and it's easy to feel for his struggle. There is one branch at the end, which poses a final choice to the player after a long journey with plenty of time for introspection and consideration. It was surprisingly difficult, given the circumstances, and it made me rethink a lot of what I'd seen up to that point. It's a stunning finale that manages to tie together seemingly disparate points of human history into a surreal adventure of personal responsibility and maintaining hope in the face of an apathetic universe. Well, there's also the spectacular soundtrack. It leans heavy on the big band and jazz, but strays off into galactic synth territory in just the right places. The audio work is great as well, acting as the sound effects for the otherwise (mostly) unspoken dialogue. Sounds, gestures, and intonations do most of the work, and even little bits like the pop of bubbles as your protagonist drinks their drink, lulled into the sound of a beautiful singer on stage, work so well. So what starts as a noir-infused story about a jilted saxophone player expands to much, much more, as your journey to find a way to stop this all from ever happening dives deep into cosmic territory. Descriptive text for evidence you've collected plays into the story, like a cigar that's said to smell of extinguished ego; "It's tightly wound and recently put out." It's little moments like these that drew me in and hooked me on the story, endearing me both to the shady conflict between these characters and the time-bending, galaxy-shifting efforts No Man was making to put a stop to them. By zipping through the creation of life itself, you might just find answers to why someone has been shot and how to stop it. Though some puzzles and controls can get pretty frustrating, the adventure itself is the draw, and with Genesis Noir, it's a beautiful trip through primordial creation worth taking. If you're eager to see what kind of stylish, inventive ways developers are finding to tell stories in games, this hard-boiled trip is worth the ticket. --------------------------------- Game System Requirments --------------------------------- Minimum : Memory: 6 GB Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti CPU: Intel Pentium 4 4.00GHz File Size: 8 GB OS: Windows 10 ----------------------------------- Recommended : Memory: 8 GB Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti CPU: Intel Pentium 4 4.00GHz File Size: 4 GB OS: Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10 --------------------------------- Video Trailer :

Appetize's industry-leading Developer Center enabled the partners to efficiently integrate via APIs, quickly providing the flexibility and reliability operators seek to empower their business through 2021 and beyond. "We're thrilled that these three best-in-class partners are joining our partner network to achieve the common goal of a more frictionless, software-enabled customer experience," says Appetize CIO and Co-Founder Jason Pratts. "At Appetize, we focus on providing enterprise customers one singular commerce platform to enable a rich set of functionalities—and our newly launched Developer Center is the key for them to quickly and scalably integrate with 3rd party companies." The new partnerships include: Paytronix. Paytronix Systems empowers restaurants and c-stores to build the best customer experiences possible. Its loyalty, online ordering, delivery management, CRM, and stored value products help brands form strong one-to-one relationships with their guests. The Paytronix platform is used by more than 500 of the world's most iconic brands. "At Paytronix, we are focused on creating the best guest experiences for our customers, and that means that everything within the restaurant technology ecosystem must work as one," says Matt d'Arbeloff, COO of Paytronix. "Our customers can only be their best when their loyalty and gift solutions work seamlessly with every possible touchpoint, and we love working with companies like Appetize that are pushing toward the same goal." Givex. Appetize has proudly partnered with Givex, a platform for gift cards, for 6 years, though this is the first time the two companies entered the restaurant space together. Givex provides tools like gift cards and e-gifts to advance customer incentive campaigns and track success in real time. "We're thrilled to enter the restaurant space with Appetize, a company we've proudly partnered with for many years," says Joe Donaldson, CMO of Givex Corporation. "Appetize has built an incredible platform we can rely on, and together with our solutions, like gift cards and e-gifts, businesses have the ability to increase customer loyalty and meaningful experiences." 7shifts. The restaurant labor management platform for scheduling, communication and time and attendance entered a partnership with Appetize in April 2020. 7shifts helps streamline and simplify operations, and is trusted by over 350,000 American restaurant professionals. "7shifts and Appetize share the common goal of simplifying operations for restaurateurs, so our new partnership was a natural fit," says 7shifts CEO Jordan Boestch. "With the integration, Appetize and 7shifts' restaurant customers can connect the systems they rely on to streamline their operations and make smarter business decisions around predicting labor needs. We're looking forward to working with the Appetize team to help restaurants navigate 2021 with more operational visibility than ever before." The three software integrations further bolster Appetize's advanced cloud POS platform that offers contactless payments, mobile ordering, and menu management. Additionally, Appetize continues its partnership with NetSuite, a platform for inventory and ERP management. About Appetize Launched in 2011, Appetize powers food, beverage, and retail transactions for the world's highest volume businesses—including multi-unit restaurants, sports and entertainment venues, theme parks, education campuses, and travel and leisure companies—through its advanced, fully cloud-based solutions.
