NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA 408.64 3.49%) shares seem to be in no hurry to end their record run. As a consequence of this ongoing ramp up, the GPU manufacturer attained a historic milestone today as it surpassed Intel’s (NASDAQ:INTC 58.61 0.51%) market capitalization for the first time ever. As of 01:07 p.m. ET, NVIDIA shares are up over 11 percent, trading at $405.82. This price level corresponds to a market capitalization of $249.63 billion. On the other hand, Intel shares are currently trading at $58.23, corresponding to a market cap of $246.57 billion. Year to date, NVIDIA has registered gains of over 68 percent. For comparison, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index is up nearly 11 percent in the same timeframe. Globally, NVIDIA is now the third most valuable semiconductor company based on market capitalization, behind only TSMC and Samsung. The single most powerful tailwind for NVIDIA shares is the euphoria surrounding the anticipated release of the latest iteration of gaming consoles later this year. Analysts expect this development to unleash a GPU upgrade supercycle. In fact, the Bank of America cited this factor for pinning a street-high stock price target on NVIDIA yesterday. BofA analyst, Vivek Arya, scrutinized Steam’s GPU survey and pointed out that just 9 percent of the PC gamers possessed a GPU that could match the performance of the upcoming consoles. The analyst, therefore, concluded that a mass upgrade to newer NVIDIA GPUs carrying higher ASPs may allow the company to breach the relatively “conservative” consensus expectation of “+16% H/H Nvidia gaming sales growth estimate for H2”. Arya noted that the new consoles could "catalyze a major upgrade cycle for NVDA" as users adopt NVIDIA’s Turning or 7nm Ampere GPUs in droves. Consequently, the BofA analyst raised the stock price target for the company from $420 to $460, constituting an upside potential of 13.35 percent relative to the current price level. Incidentally, this also constitutes a street-high stock price target for NVIDIA. It should be noted that, earlier in May, BMO Capital analyst Ambrish Srivasta had noted that NVIDIA could “grow its data center business to at least a $20B annual run rate versus the $4.8B for this year.” Consequently, according to Srivasta, the company’s EPS could grow to a whopping $20 per share over the long-term. Of course, stellar Q1 2021 earnings have played an important role in beefing up NVIDIA’s stock price. As a refresher, the company’s revenue for the quarter increased by 39 percent year-over-year to $3.08 billion. Moreover, its revenue from the data center business topped $1 billion for the first time. Moreover, during the earnings call, NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang asserted that the work-from-home trend remains conducive for growth in gaming-related expenditure, giving a fresh boost to the risk-on sentiment surrounding NVIDIA’s shares. Apart from the strength in hyperscale and cloud spheres, NVIDIA has benefited from a number of AAA gaming titles that now support its RTX Ray Tracing technology. Moreover, the GeForce RTX SUPER GPUs have also boosted the company’s top-line metric. However, sales channel disruptions due to the coronavirus-induced lockdowns may have moderated some of the original gains.

The Korean firm lets us see without camouflage the new model that will be part of the N division. A few months ago, we anticipated the image and attributes of the new Hyundai Elantra 2021, with improvements found in the design sections, as well as showing itself as a more technological specimen with better dynamic performance. This will make it better planted against rivals such as Nissan Sentra, Volkswagen Jetta and Kia Cerato, to name a few, In addition, with this new generation, it was also announced that a variant signed by the N-Line sports division would be available, and although in its testing phase it showed a dense camouflage that left much to the imagination, the first ones have finally been released official images. Features of the new Elantra N Line - Hyundai shows us one more representation of the current design language of the brand, with a proposal that approaches the recently renovated Sonata. - The aesthetic difference that it has with the “traditional” model, is a huge waterfall type grill with the “N” badges and larger air intakes on the sides. - In addition, it equips side skirts that will recreate that sporty profile. New rear-view mirrors, dual exhaust vents, a subtle spoiler attached to the trunk lid and a diffuser are introduced, all finished in gloss black. - Tread the asphalt with 18-inch wheels. - In the words of Thomas Schemera himself, head of the products division of Hyundai Motor Group, indoors will use sports seats and characteristic red accents of the N Line division. - The powertrain is rumored to be in charge of a supercharged 1.6-liter, the same as the Cerato GT Line we tested last year. This would develop a total of 201 Hp and 264 Nm of torque, coupled to a six-ratio manual transmission or a seven-wheel-drive automatic. - Likewise, there is talk of improvements for the chassis and its electronics. The new Hyundai Elantra N-Line is expected to be released before the end of 2020. Do you think it would be a good option for our country?

The president of Confiep, María Isabel León, highlighted the need for governments to improve the regulatory environment to incentivize the creation of new jobs to overcome the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). “The private sector is essential for the recovery of employment and consumption, as well as for investment and innovation, but this requires the support of governments to create and facilitate an environment conducive to the resilience and growth of the private sector that generates decent and productive jobs ”, he pointed out in his presentation at the ILO Global Summit on COVID-19. In this sense, María Isabel León specified that it is time to eliminate the regulations that affect business growth, when facing this serious situation. Furthermore, she considered that while companies focus on creating more jobs, it is essential to serve vulnerable po[CENSORED]tions. “This is a setback that we did not foresee and that forces us to dedicate immediate resources to poverty alleviation at the same time that policies are made and decisions are made that we have often avoided taking so that the private sector becomes the great driver of the economy, "he said. The ILO Global Summit on COVID-19 and the World of Work addresses the effects of the pandemic on the world of work, in which representatives of governments, employers and workers, together with other high-level stakeholders, discuss on the economic and social incidence of the disease.

AMD has officially announced the availability of its 7nm Ryzen 3000XT 'Matisse Refresh' CPU family. The new processors bring added performance at the same MSRPs as the existing lineup which will lead to enhanced usability for new PC builders and system integrators. AMD Ryzen 3000XT '7nm Matisse Refresh' Desktop CPUs Now Available - Ryzen 9 3900XT For $499, Ryzen 7 3800XT For $399, Ryzen 5 3600XT For $249 US AMD officially announced its Ryzen 3000XT 'Matisse Refresh' lineup a few weeks back. The lineup consists of three processors based on the 7nm Zen 2 architecture but features a slightly enhanced design allowing for higher boost clocks than their Ryzen 3000X series brethren. The CPUs are now available. AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT - 12 Cores at 4.7 GHz For $499 US The AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT is the fastest XT part featuring 12 cores and 24 threads. It's surprising for AMD to not release a Ryzen 9 3950XT variant but I believe that is due to the fact that the chip relies on a heavily pre-binned Zen 2 die and there's little to no room for improvement on that particular chip. The AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT will additionally pack 70 MB of complete cache with a TDP of 105W. The AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT is suggested to feature a base clock of 3.8 GHz and a boost clock of up to 4.7 GHz (single-core) compared to a base clock of 3.8 GHz and a boost clock of up to 4.6 GHz on the existing Ryzen 9 3900X CPU. Pricing for the chip will be kept at $499 US while the original Ryzen 9 3900X can be found for around $400 US on several retail outlets. AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT - 8 Cores at 4.7 GHz For $399 US The Ryzen 7 3800XT will become AMD's fastest 8 core solution to directly tackle the Intel Core i7-10700K. This chip will offer 8 cores and 16 threads but with increased boost clocks. The base clock will be retained at 3.8 GHz but the boost clocks will be increased to 4.7 GHz for more performance. In addition to the clock speeds, the chip will retain its PCIe Gen 4.0 capabilities and offer up to 36 MB of total cache in a 105W TDP design. AMD has priced the Ryzen 7 3800XT at $399 US which is the same as the MSRP for the 3800X but that could be had for around $300 US at almost every major retailer around the globe. AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT - 6 Cores at 4.5 GHz For $249 US Finally, we have the entry-level XT model, the Ryzen 5 3600XT. The Ryzen 5 3600XT is going against the Intel Core i5-10600K with 6 cores and 12 threads. The chip will pack 35 MB of the total cache at 95 Watts. The Ryzen 5 3600XT will offer a 3.8 GHz base and 4.5 GHz boost frequencies which are a definite improvement over the stock Ryzen 5 3600X. It'll just be slightly lower clocked than the Intel Core i5-10600K while offering tremendously better IPC and multi-threading performance out of the box, giving AMD the opportunity to reclaim its position in the mainstream market. However, it remains to be soon how the market responds to the prices of these particular CPUs, especially considering that the current non-XT models feature near-identical performance at vastly lower price points.

The Judiciary scheduled the hearing to evaluate the request for pre-trial detention for 36 months against Nadine Heredia and former ministers Luis Castilla and Eleodoro Mayorga for Thursday, July 23, as part of the investigations related to alleged crimes committed in the Gasoducto project tender. South Peru to the Odebrecht company. The Specialized Criminal Court reported that the Second Anticorruption Preparatory Investigation Court, in charge of magistrate Juan Carlos Sánchez Balbuena, will hold the session at 10 a.m. On Wednesday, March 11, the Special Team of prosecutors for the Lava Jato case confirmed that Geovana Mori had requested preventive detention against these three investigated for allegedly favoring Odebrecht with the concession of the South Peruvian gas pipeline project (GSP), which was awarded in the 2014. According to the investigations of the Public Ministry, Nadine Heredia acted as a "de facto official" to favor Odebrecht with the Gasoducto Sur Peruano project, managing meetings and participating in various appointments with representatives of the Brazilian company to facilitate the process to award the work. Luis Castilla, former Minister of Economy and Finance; and Eleodoro Mayorga, former Minister of Energy and Mines, would have had the role of promoting favorable conditions for Odebrecht to win the good fortune of the project. According to the prosecution, both "would have formed part of the collusive pact [with Odebrecht] to the detriment of the State's assets." The prosecutor Geovana Mori included, in her request for preventive detention, various testimonies from people who assure that Nadine Heredia was directly related to the coordination that was made between the highest authorities of the Executive to press for the gas pipeline project to be carried out and to be tendered in favor of the company Odebrecht. Also added as an indication of an attempt to impede justice was the testimony provided by another former Minister of Energy and Mines, Jorge Merino Tafur, who related that Heredia's lawyer, Wilfredo Pedraza, asked him “to say that he had not had communications with Nadine Heredia and that he had not coordinated with her during his tenure as Minister of Energy and Mines ”.

Another heavyweight looks to take on Zoom in the video conferencing world The video conferencing market is set to get another major competitor after another Indian heavyweight revealed plans to launch its own offering. Telecoms giant Bharti Airtel is set to launch its own rival to the likes of Zoom and Microsoft Teams as it looks to grab a slice of the market. The news comes days after the announcement of JioMeet as Indian providers look to take advantage of the remote working boom following the global pandemic. Airtel launch The Economic Times, quoting a person ‘close’ to the company, reports Airtel is set to launch several enterprise-grade products - one of which is a unified video conferencing tool. The service is initially going to be launched for start-ups and small businesses, however Airtel may look at a wider roll-out depending on the kind of reception it gets, the source added. Airtel’s putative video conferencing tool will work on both smartphones and desktops both and will use the latest AES 256 encryption along with multiple authentication layers for security. Airtel already provides a slew of video conferencing solutions along with 4G, MPLS and FTTH connectivity, boasting tie-ups with Zoom, Cisco WebEx and Google Meet under its ‘Work@Home’ solutions for enterprises. JioMeet rival Airtel's videoconferencing app will look to promote its localization and security as key selling points - areas which have been weak spots in Zoom. As mentioned, Indian telecom giant Jio rolled out its conferencing platform JioMeet last week, with reports of over a million downloads on the Google Play Store already. The free service offers enterprise-grade host control and security and can be used for 1:1 video calls and hosting meetings with up to 100 participants, allowing unlimited meetings per day and each meeting can go uninterrupted up to 24 hours. JioMeet allows for easy sign up with either mobile number or email ID, and offers meetings in HD audio and video quality. Zoom has already hit back against its new rivals, doubling down on promises of safety and usability. "We know what it takes to become the unified communications platform we are today, including the immense amount of work and focus required to create our frictionless user experience, sophisticated security, and scalable architecture," the company said in a press release. In a statement earlier this week, Zoom CEO Eric Yuan also said his company would put mechanisms in place to make sure that security and privacy remain a priority in each phase of its product and feature development. Buffetted by privacy and security snarls, Zoom took a 90-day pledge on April 1 to make a number of enhancements to address security and privacy. "We cannot and will not stop here. Privacy and security are ongoing priorities for Zoom, and this 90-day period while fruitful was just a first step," said Yuan.

AMD's next-generation EPYC Milan CPUs are closing in and we have got a very first look at the Zen 3 powered sever powerhouse from the red team. The EPYC Milan server processors will be part of the 3rd Generation EPYC lineup, replacing the EPYC Rome lineup that launched almost two years ago while offering significant improvements in HPC & data center applications. AMD 3rd Gen EPYC Milan CPU Spotted, 7nm+ Zen 3 Powered Early ES Chip With Up To 2.2 GHz Clocks The AMD EPYC Milan CPU family will be powered by the brand new Zen 3 cores which will be based on the TSMC 7nm+ process node. While we have learned a lot from previous leaks and rumors, the CPUs themselves haven't shown up anywhere until now. The latest bits and info come from ExecutableFix over at Twitter who managed to get details on an unreleased AMD engineering sample. The CPU was mentioned within a changelog for the Linux OS and has the "AMD Eng Sample: 100-000000114-07_22/15_N" codename. The codename shows us a very early look at ES clock speeds which are set at 1.5 GHz base and 2.2 GHz boost. The core count for this specific chip is not mentioned yet. Following is the main log file for the EPYC Milan CPU: The leaker reports that EPYC Rome also featured similar clock speeds in early ES state which final variants hitting up to 3.4 GHz boost clocks. Interestingly, Komachi refers to the AMD EPYC Milan chip as Genesis which is the codename for the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 4000 (Genesis Peak) series lineup that's going to feature Zen 3 cores. Considering that AMD EPYC & Threadripper CPUs have a lot of things in common, we can see why Genesis is being referenced here. With that said, I personally do not expect to see a next-gen Threadripper lineup until mid of 2021 since AMD has yet to introduce its Ryzen 4000 'Vermeer' desktop lineup based on the Zen 3 core architecture. The AMD EPYC Milan processors would succeed the current EPYC Rome lineup. The fundamental change for the EPYC Milan lineup would be the new Zen 3 core architecture which will be based upon an advanced 7nm process node. From what we know and what AMD has officially shown, the AMD Zen 3 based EPYC Milan processors would focus primarily on overall performance per watt enhancements but that doesn't mean we won't be looking at core updates. AMD has so far confirmed themselves that Zen 3 brings a brand new CPU architecture, which helps deliver significant IPC gains, faster clocks, and even higher core counts than before. Some rumors have even pointed to a 17% increase in IPC and a 50% increase in Zen 3's floating-point operations along with a major cache redesign.

When, a decade or so ago, the first electric cars began to appear, to make them different and more aerodynamic they were little less than frightening, but today they have been refined and are already normal vehicles and even attractive to the eye. The same happened with the bikes, since, in addition, they added another problem: there was no space for the batteries and they were very heavy. New technologies have allowed batteries to reduce their size and acquire conventional designs. To this we must add that the current pandemic has made motorcycles see as a real option for personal transport, and what better if it is electric. One of these bets is the Damon Hypersport, presented at the last Consumer Electronics Show (CES), where the Canadian-born company received recognition for innovation. The Vancouver-based manufacturer's road superbike has a weight of 226 kilos, something almost normal for the segment, not that of a super sports car but perhaps that of a sports car. And it offers more than interesting numbers. The Damon Hypersport delivers 215 HP of power and has a range of 322 km for the city / highway combination, but only city can go up to 500 km. Its recharging system is suitable for Level 2 chargers (home and wallbox), reducing time to less than three hours. And its performance is similar to that of a 1,000cc sports car, with a 0 to 100 km / h in less than 3 seconds and a top speed of 320 km / h. Obviously these numbers will vary depending on the type of terrain where it is driven and such things. As if this were not enough, the Damon Hypersport will have a mode called V2G (Vehicle to Grid), which will make the 21.5 kWh battery a power bank to power household appliances at home. In addition, it will have a lot of electronics thanks to the cooperation agreement with the also Canadian Blackberry, who will provide a series of cameras and radars to operate the different driving aids, such as 360 ° deadlock radars, which will give acoustic alerts, thus eliminating the side mirrors. An interesting fact is that the height of the handlebar and the position of the footrest can be easily adjusted. The price, yes, is a point that always keeps us away from new technologies: it will cost $ 25,000, about 20 million pesos. Although it is expensive, it is not so far from top-of-the-range models of conventional brands. If anything, this is the price for the Premier Outlet version, which includes many luxury items such as Brembo brakes, Öhlins suspension and carbon fiber accessories.

The opinion reached the necessary votes to withdraw the constitutional prerogative that prevented legislators from being processed and arrested without the authorization of Parliament. The plenary session of the Congress of the Republic approved this Sunday a constitutional amendment to eliminate the parliamentary immunity of the president, the ministers of state, the magistrates of the Constitutional Court, the supreme judges and prosecutors, as well as other authorities that had said investiture. The proposal modifies article 93 of the Constitution and deletes the aforementioned prerogative, in such a way that it was only maintained that the legislators "are not responsible before any authority or court for the opinions and votes they issue". As well as article 99 stating that "the ministers of State do not have a political prejudice, nor any type of immunity during the exercise of office," and 117 ° stating that the president "may also be accused of crimes to the detriment of the State. committed during his mandate or before ”. This reform was approved with 110 votes in favor, 13 votes against and 0 abstentions after an hour earlier the plenary approved the reconsideration of a previous substitute text that only reached the parliamentarians by 110 in favor, 14 against and zero abstentions . Last Saturday, the substitute text approved this Sunday was rejected by the national representation with 82 votes in favor, 14 votes against and 25 abstentions. Failing to reach 87 votes, the proposal to eliminate parliamentary immunity must be submitted to a referendum to become law. At the beginning of the debate, the president of the Constitution Commission, Omar Chehade (Alliance for progress), had pointed out that the measure marked "a turning point" in the history of Parliament, since the objective of immunity "has been contaminated". "That noble institution with which parliamentary immunity was born, unfortunately in recent decades has been contaminated to the point that the Congress of the Republic is seen in a different way, in a bad way by the people," he said during his speech. On June 19, Chehade assured that in Parliament there was no "maximum consensus" regarding parliamentary immunity, but considered that this prerogative should be "restricted and diminished". It should be noted that for the measure to take effect it must be approved by a qualified majority (87 votes) in the next legislature because it is a constitutional reform.

Intel's Xe GPU featured on 11th Generation Tiger Lake CPUs has once again been benchmarked and this time the chip performs on par with NVIDIA's fastest MX series discrete graphics that are featured inside most mainstream laptops. Intel Tiger Lake Xe GPU With 96 EUs Matches The NVIDIA GeForce MX350 Discrete GPU & Blazes Past AMD's 7nm Vega iGPU In Latest Benchmarks The various benchmark entries come from TUM_APISAK & Rogame (via Videocardz) which show the performance versus NVIDIA & AMD based mobility based graphics chips for mainstream and entry-level laptops. The specific Xe GPU which has been tested is part of the Core i7-1165G7 configuration. Do consider that the Core i7-1165G7 is not the fastest Tiger Lake CPU configuration as that title belongs to Core i7-1185G7. Regardless, the Xe GPU is based on the Gen 12 GPU architecture which features 96 EUs which make up 768 cores in total. This chip is clocked at 1.3 GHz and the chip shares its power with the entire Tiger Lake SOC which has a base TDP of 15W that is configurable up to 28W. The Xe GPU was tested with LPDD4x memory which operates at 4266 MHz. Intel Tiger Lake Xe GPU vs NVIDIA Pascal GeForce MX350 Graphics Performance: The first benchmark comparison is between the Intel Xe GPU with 96 EUs (768 cores) and the NVIDIA GeForce MX350 with 5 SMs (640 cores). The NVIDIA MX350 not only features a higher graphics frequency of 1.47 GHz but also comes equipped with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory which delivers higher bandwidth specifically to the GPU itself. In the Geekbench 4 OpenCL benchmark, the Tiger Lake Xe GPU scores 59845 points while NVIDIA's GeForce MX350 scores 59828 points. There's no difference in terms of performance but for Intel's Xe GPU, this is a huge feat considering it is offering the same performance of a discrete tier GPU while being constrained in terms of bandwidth and power. What's interesting is how each test shows different results between the two GPUs tested. For Intel's part, they do really well in most of the sub-tests, especially the Gaussian Blue benchmark but NVIDIA manages a huge lead in the Particle Physics test which offsets the overall gains achieved by Intel's Xe chip. Also what's interesting is that a leaked entry of the Apple A12Z Bionic GPU showed up in the Geekbench 5 database a few days ago too and was spotted by Rogame. The Apple GPU which will be embedded within its Macbook line is shown slightly slower than the GeForce MX350. The MX350 scores 13520 while Apple's A12Z Bionic GPU scores 11315. That's about a 20% lead for the NVIDIA GPU. The Pascal MX350 configuration used here is the lower-end SKU which operates at 15W and has a clock speed of 936 MHz compared to 1.47 GHz of the 25W variant. The A12Z features 8 CU and 1 GHz clocks. I know GB4 and GB5 are vastly different benchmarks but if Intel's Xe GPU scale just as well in the GB5 tests as they do against the MX350 in GB4, then Intel will also have a comfortable lead over Apple's Bionic GPU. Intel Tiger Lake Xe 96 EU vs Tiger Lake Xe 80 EU Graphics Performance: The benchmarks also compare the Intel Tiger Lake Xe 96 EU (Core i7-1165G7) with the 80 EU (Core i5-1135G7) configuration. The Core i5-1135G7 is a lower clocked SKU when it comes to the CPU side and also features a slightly toned down Xe GPU. The 80 EUs represent 640 cores that match the GeForce MX350 but still at 1.30 GHz (vs 1.47 GHz on GeForce MX350).

The Hao Yue collects many of the technologies and processes implemented in the latest models of the brand and that are the fruits of what was harvested together with Volvo. The Hao Yue is Geely's first SUV-D, a very competitive segment due to the different alternatives that can be found today. In the past, having seven seats was a rare thing and only exclusive to a minivan, minivan or a huge SUV. Today there is something for everyone and Geely also wants his. Hao Yue is a big car. Not more than a Mazda CX-9, but more than a Peugeot 5008. It measures 4,835 millimeters long, 1,900 mm wide and 1,780 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm. It can be requested with the option of 5 or 7 seats and eye, that the seats fold flat, enough to achieve the size of a king-size bed (2.2 square meters) and a full capacity of 2,360 liters. Geely ensures that adults up to 1.9 meters tall can sit comfortably. There is even a seven-seat VIP package, with special settings for the third row. Space is not everything. With the pandemic still ongoing, we have read quite a bit about Geely's hygienic developments and Hao Yue is no exception. Under the concept of "healthy car", the materials are subjected to environmental tests and without the use of potentially toxic compounds, the same ones that are often the ones that generate the famous "new car smell". The Hao Yue also comes equipped with Geely's official CN95 certified high-efficiency air purification system, which is capable of filtering 99% of PM2.5 particles and 98% of droplets greater than 0.74 µm They may contain viruses and other harmful elements. Combined with the three-zone air conditioning and AQS system, cabin air can be purified in less than three minutes. Inside Hao Yue, Geely's GKUI smart multimedia system stands out, which has its own quad-core processor, E01 and a voice assistant powered by artificial intelligence. This system can also be linked to smart domestic functions that have Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. Everything is manageable from three high-definition displays, such as a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a similar display for the multimedia system and a wide-screen Head Up Display device. To move the Hao Yue, Geely will use its 1.8TD motor with 180 Hp and 300 Nm of torque, associated with a seven-speed automatic double-clutch transmission, homologated to Euro 6b standards and with level 2 driving assistance technologies ( a bit like the Volvo Pilot Assist). 24 sensors help the Hao Yue automatically advance, stop and rotate at speeds of up to 150 km / h, with supervision, logically. The sensors also allow the SUV to park automatically with a single button with 360 ° panoramic images. The Hao Yue is also expected to employ other thrusters, including 1.5 and 2.0 Turbo offerings, developed with Volvo and associated with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, with either a single-wheel drive or AWD option, apart from PHEV versions. This Geely model could be a weighty rival for the Chery Tiggo 8, but also for models such as the Kia Sorento and the aforementioned Mazda CX-9 or Peugeot 5008, of course, many of its technological advances will not leave Chinese borders.

Word on the vine is that NVIDIA is planning to fabricate the next generation RTX 3000 Ampere GPUs on Samsung's 8nm process. This would be somewhat unexpected as NVIDIA's announcement for Ampere has previously stated that they will be using the 7nm TSMC process. The leaker in question, however, has an excellent track record for RTX 3000 series leaks and had the die configurations down pat months before anyone else. This is why even though I am tagging this as a rumor simply because of the sheer contrarian nature of this article; let's just say I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be true. NVIDIA planning to tap Samsung's 8nm process to manufacture for RTX 3090, RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 NVIDIA has already used TSMC's 7nm process for its higher-end Ampere lineup but if this rumor is true [opinion] and I personally think this is going to turn out to be true [/opinion] then things are about to get very interesting. The TSMC 7nm EUV process is more energy-efficient than the Samsung 8nm process but the latter is likely cheaper and has much more spare production capacity than the former. TSMC's high-end processes are usually in high demand and AMD seems to have set up shop there and dominating a very large supply of their wafers. Going to Samsung might be the logical move here considering 1) they have enough cash reserves to offer the process for cheap and 2) will have ample volume to meet NVIDIA's demands. According to the tweet, the Samsung 8nm process is based on the 10nm backbone and will be 10% more energy-efficient than 10nm. 8nm will still be a massive jump in performance from NVIDIA's 12NFF (which is essentially just an optimized version of 16nm) and the company could very easily supplement the lower energy efficiency by feeding it more power (that might explain the high TGP ratings for the RTX 3090 we saw earlier). We had initially heard that NVIDIA might decide to do a staggered launch with some high-performance parts (like the purported RTX 3090) going to TSMC 7nm and lower end parts going with Samsung but according to Kopite, all parts and segments are going to be based on Samsung's 8nm Process and they are 100% sure about it. This means that RTX 3090, RTX 3080, 3070 and so on - all SKUs are going to be based on the 8nm process. Since the process is less efficient than TSMC's NVIDIA would need to slightly increase the TGP across the board to still give the massive performance leap we have been seeing in leaked benchmarks (and boy is it something to behold). The source has also previously stated that NVIDIA's future Tegra processors are going to be based on the same process as well. NVIDIA felt the brunt of its dependency on TSMC for the first time when AMD booked all of spare 7nm capacity with its CPUs and GPUs. If I were in Jensen's shoes, I would want to reduce dependency on the foundry as well and diversify away some of that risk. That said, shifting foundries is a *huge* decision that requires tons of R&D and changes in EDA and not something that is done lightly. A lot of capacity at TSMC has also been freed up with Huawei exiting the stage and it remains to be seen whether this information will turn out to be true. At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter whether we get the RTX 3000 series on the TSMC 7nm process or Samsung's 8nm - what matters is performance and we fully expect them to retain their performance lead over AMD.

Since the beginning of the pandemic by COVID-19 in our country, 185,852 people completed their period of home isolation or were discharged from a health facility. The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported on Friday that in the last seven days, 26,046 people had expired COVID-19 and were discharged. The Health sector emphasized that with this result, on its seventh consecutive day, the number of recoveries is higher than the number of confirmed cases. Since the beginning of the pandemic by COVID-19 in our country, 185,852 people completed their period of home isolation or were discharged from a health facility. From Saturday June 27 to Friday July 3, the people recovered are: 4,218; 3,974; 3,161; 3,376; 3,710; 3,852; and 3,755, respectively. While the report of new positive cases, in that same period of time, indicates the following figures: 3,625; 3,430; 2,946; 2,848; 3,264; 3,527; and 3,595 new assets, respectively. Meanwhile, the number of people sampled continues to fluctuate between 16,000 and 20,000 per day. Given this, the Minsa indicated this is due to the difficult, but necessary measures that were taken and the collaboration of the people who complied with the requested quarantine to prevent the further spread of the virus in the country. Finally, the Health sector emphasized that this decrease will be evident if all citizens comply with the correct use of the mask, the physical distance of at least one meter and the constant washing of hands, measures that are still in force within the framework of the new coexistence. The Minsa also detailed that to date the number of those infected by coronavirus rose to 295,599 in the country this Friday. Similarly, he indicated that there are a total of 10,226 deaths from this disease nationwide.

SK Hynix announced that it has started the full-scale mass-production of high-speed DRAM, ‘HBM2E’, only ten months after the Company announced the development of the new product in August last year. SK Hynix's HBM2E supports over 460GB (Gigabyte) per second with 1,024 I/Os (Inputs/Outputs) based on the 3.6GBps (gigabits-per-second) speed performance per pin. It is the fastest DRAM solution in the industry, being able to transmit 124 FHD (full-HD) movies (3.7GB each) per second. SK Hynix Beings HBM2E DRAM Mass Production - TSV Allows For Higher Density By Vertically Stacking 16 GB Chips The density is 16GB by vertically stacking eight 16GB chips through TSV (Through Silicon Via) technology, and it is more than doubled from the previous generation (HBM2). TSV is an interconnecting technology that connects the upper and lower chips through thousands of fine holes on the DRAM chip. It delivers data, commands, and currents through column-shaped paths that penetrate the entire silicon wafer thickness after stacking multiple DRAM chips on the buffer chip. It also has up to a 30% decrease in size and up to a 50% decrease in power consumption over existing packaging methods. HBM2E boasts high-speed, high-capacity, and low-power characteristics; it is an optimal memory solution for next-generation AI (Artificial Intelligence) systems including Deep Learning Accelerator and High-Performance Computing, which all require high-level computing performance. Following are some of the key points of SK Hynix's HBM2E memory: HBM (High Bandwidth Memory) High performance, high bandwidth memory products that adopt TSV technology to dramatically accelerate data processing speed over traditional DRAMs. TSV (Through Silicon Via) An interconnecting technology that connects the upper and lower chips through thousands of fine holes on DRAM chip. The "E-Bus Laboratory COVID-19" project seeks to facilitate access to the taking of samples to carry out PCR examinations -and possibly other tests- Foton, together with the Catholic University of Chile and its Faculty of Medicine, set up a mobile laboratory on an electric bus. The pilot project, which is called "E-Bus Laboratory COVID-19", seeks to facilitate access to the taking of samples to carry out PCR examinations - and possibly other tests - in vulnerable areas of the Metropolitan Region. The Foton e-Bus, which will be operated by the UC CHRISTUS Health Network, was completely adapted with special equipment to function as a laboratory and provide all the protections for health personnel. The bus-laboratory has a sector of seats for the transfer of health personnel (2 nurses, 1 nursing technician and 1 administrative), access with a cabin with sanitation restriction, administrative area, 2 sampling box (with sleeves to maintain physical distance) and storage area, as well as WiFi service. Regarding its technical specifications, it reaches approximately 170 kilometers of autonomy, considering 80% of battery capacity use (129 kW) in urban conditions. In addition, its batteries are fast charging; Using a 150 kW charger, the batteries recharge 80% of their capacity in 25 minutes. Although of course, there are other versions also that can reach 300 kilometers. Enel X Chile will be in charge of the adaptation, sanitation and energy charging of the mobile laboratory. The exams and sampling will be financed with the resources of the Esperanza Project COVID-19 of the alliance between the Catholic University and BHP. The people who will be treated in this mobile laboratory will be referred from the local health services and must have a medical order. The idea is to assist the po[CENSORED]tion of the Áncora UC Primary Care Centers -of La Pintana and Puente Alto- and other specific sectors to be agreed with the authorities. What was said The Dean of the UC Faculty of Medicine, Felipe Heusser, explained that “the electric bus that Enel makes available today to the 'Esperanza COVID 19' project is a clear example of the effort between the Catholic University, through our Faculty of Medicine and the UC CHRISTUS Health Network, and private companies, to face this pandemic. Undoubtedly, it is a fundamental support for the materialization of the project that we are developing together with BHP, and which seeks to significantly increase the diagnostic capacity of Covid-19, in order to identify, isolate and monitor patients in the southeastern sector of the Metropolitan Region ”. For his part, the general manager of Andes Motor, Luis Izquierdo, stated that “we are very happy to be able to contribute through our Foton bus to the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, supporting health workers and facilitating the access to exams for people from the communes of Puente Alto and La Pintana. Being an environmentally friendly laboratory, which works without polluting, with very low noise levels, we are even more satisfied. ” Meanwhile, the general manager of Enel X Chile, Karla Zapata, stressed that “we are living a complex moment that requires everyone's collaboration. The implementation of this 100% electric laboratory bus is an unprecedented initiative in our country, both due to its characteristics and its implementation, and reaffirms our commitment to contribute to overcoming this pandemic that affects the world and our country, incorporating electric mobility into the health care, also contributing to caring for the environment and decontamination of the city ”.

Intel's 10th Gen Comet Lake-S desktop processors including the Core i9-10900K & Core i7-10700K are now available in pre-binned flavors at Silicon Lottery. The Intel 10th Gen family launched last month for the latest Z490 platform last month. The CPU family featured the same 14nm architecture but delivered some impressive clock speeds while sacrificing overall efficiency. Intel Core i9-10900K 10 Core & Core i7-10700K 8 Core CPUs Available In Pre-Binned Flavors - Up To 5.1 GHz Clocks For $949.99 US Despite the launch of these 10th Gen CPUs last month, the Core i9-10900K and Core i7-10700K are available in very limited quantities around various retailers across the globe. Silicon Lottery had the Core i7-10700K pre-binned variant in stock since last month but the Core i9-10900K appeared just now with the Core i5-10600K planned to be listed around mid of July. Intel Core i9-10900K Pre-Binned CPU SKUs and Statistics So coming to the SKUs, each CPU has three pre-binned variants based on the clock speeds. For a price of $589 US, you get a pre-binned 10 core chip with guaranteed clock speeds of 4.90 GHz for all cores, 5.0 GHz for 6 cores and 5.1 GHz for 3 cores. This is slightly better than the 4.8 GHz boost that you'd normally get across all cores with 4.9 GHz only kicking in with Thermal Velocity Boost but for a short duration. The reference variant also features a 5.1 GHz standard boost for a single-core whereas the pre-binned variant gets up to 3 cores running at 5.1 GHz and standard 5.3 GHz boost is maintained for 1-core. The chip is tuned at 1.325V (Vcore) and runs stable through the tests. The PL1 and PL2 states for the pre-binned chip are maintained at 220W. For a $90 US premium, the pre-binned chip doesn't sound that bad of a deal but we'll get to more details about how you can achieve similar results with a stock retail chip too. Next up, we have the $679.99 US variant which for a $180 US premium gets you guaranteed 5.0 GHz clocks across all 10 cores, 5.1 GHz across 6 cores and 5.2 GHz across 3 cores. The voltage is maintained at 1.350V while PL1/PL2 states are set at 230W. Lastly, we have the $949.99 US SKU which for a $450 US premium gives you a guaranteed overclock of 5.1 GHz across all 10 cores, 5.2 GHz for up to 6 cores and 5.3 GHz for up to 3 cores at 1.375V while power limits are maintained at 250W. Interestingly, Silicon Lottery also shares its pre-binning statistics which reveal that almost 100% of the chips can achieve the results of the $589 US SKU with 4.9 GHz all-core clocks, 73% can achieve the results of the $679 US SKU with 5.0 GHz all-core clocks and only 24% of the chips can achieve the results of the top $949 US SKU with 5.1 GHz all-core clocks. You can additionally get your CPUs delidded which are said to decrease temperatures by up to 12 degrees Celsius but it will cost you an extra $50 US. Following are the motherboards that are validated to hit the said clock speeds on Intel's Core i9-10900K CPU: ASUS Z490 ROG MAXIMUS XII APEX ASUS Z490 ROG MAXIMUS XII EXTREME ASUS Z490 ROG MAXIMUS XII FORMULA ASUS Z490 ROG MAXIMUS XII HERO Intel Core i7-10700K Pre-Binned CPU SKUs and Statistics Moving on to the Core i7-10700K, we get three SKUs starting with the $429.99 US variant which for a $50 US premium gets you a 4.9 GHz guaranteed overclock on all 8 cores and 5.0 GHz on 4-cores with a voltage of 1.35V and power limits at 210W. The Core i7-10700K retail chip ships with an all-core boost clock of 4.7 GHz and a single-core boost of 5.0 GHz which makes this $50 US premium offer quite nice for the added performance. For a $80 US premium of $469.99 US, you get 5.0 GHz guaranteed clocks on all 8 cores and 5.1 GHz for 4 cores with a voltage supply of 1.375V and power limits increased to 220W. The last SKU is the $559.99 US variant which is a $170 US premium over the reference MSRP but gets you a overclock of 5.1 GHz for all 8 cores and 5.2 GHz for 4 cores at 1.400V with power limits raised to 240W. These CPUs can also be bought in delidded flavors but you will have to pay the same $50 US extra to get it done. In terms of binning statistics, all retail chips can reach the clock speeds of the $429.99 US variant while the top 68% can hit the speeds of the 5.0 GHz bin. The 5.1 GHz bin is very rare and can only be achieved by top 20% chips. Following are the motherboards that are validated to hit the said clock speeds on Intel's Core i7-10700K CPU: ASUS Z490 PRIME Z490-A ASUS Z490 ProArt Z490-CREATOR 10G ASUS Z490 ROG MAXIMUS XII APEX ASUS Z490 ROG MAXIMUS XII EXTREME ASUS Z490 ROG MAXIMUS XII FORMULA ASUS Z490 ROG MAXIMUS XII HERO ASUS Z490 ROG STRIX Z490-A ASUS Z490 ROG STRIX Z490-E ASUS Z490 ROG STRIX Z490-F ASUS Z490 ROG STRIX Z490-G ASUS Z490 ROG STRIX Z490-H The Intel Core i5-10600K is also suggested to hit silicon lottery soon with an estimated arrival of 19th July. Once again, the pre-binned CPUs are for users who want a guaranteed overclocks and clock speeds on their unlocked parts as you can see that just a quarter of the chips can achieve overclock beyond 5.0 GHz. Regardless, a 100-200 MHz difference in clock speeds won't yield any major gains for the general audience but for enthusiasts, these chips are pure gold to play around with.
