macOS 11 Big Sur has just been announced at WWDC 2020, and it brings some pretty major improvements to the operating system behind the best Macs, along with some stability improvements. macOS Big Sur follows macOS Catalina, but where Catalina only had minor improvements over macOS Mojave, this new version is the biggest change to Apple's operating system in years. Chief among these is the migration to Apple-designed silicon. This has been rumored for years, but this, along with macOS Catalyst, will finally bring support for every iOS and iPad app to the Mac operating system. Apple also promises that it will lead to greater efficiency and power – though that remains to be seen. We also get a massive redesign in the look of native macOS apps, with Apple giving apps like Messages, Mail, Photos, Calendar and even Finder a fresh, much more compact and streamlined design. Also, we're finally getting improvements that are more in line with what you get on the iOS, with macOS Big Sur bringing that new widgets feature we're getting with iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, making your whole Apple experience a much more harmonious and unified experience. We didn't get an actual release date for macOS 11, but if Apple follows its typical release schedule, as we're pretty sure it will, we should see the next Mac operating system hit our computers in either September or October 2020. Still, if you want to get your hands on the operating system right now, you can jump into the developer's beta starting today, though you should keep in mind that it's not free. This is the biggest macOS release in years, so there's a lot to talk about. Be sure to keep this page bookmarked, and we'll keep it updated with the latest information and features. Cut to the chase What is it? macOS 11 Big Sur, successor to macOS 10.15 Catalina When is it out? Likely September or October 2020 How much will it cost? Nothing. Apple software updates are always free macOS 11 Big Sur release date While macOS Big Sur was revealed today, we don't know exactly when the general public will be able to download and install it. Typically Apple releases its software at the same time each year, so it's reasonable to expect the macOS 10.16 release date to fall somewhere in September or October 2020. Either way, we won't actually know the exact date the software will be publicly available until the iPhone 12 event later this year. Still, if you're eager to get your hands on the software, the beta version is available today if you're a part of the Apple Developer program, which will cost you $99 (about £79, AU$140). We must urge caution to most folks here, though. Early versions of software are prone to bugs, and aren't quite as secure as public releases. If you're ok with the risks, though, the option is open to you. macOS 11 Big Sur system requirements If you want to download and install macOS 11 when it becomes publicly available later this year, you're going to want to make sure your Mac is actually able to run it. And, unfortunately macOS system requirements have gone up. We went ahead and listed the macOS Big Sur-compatible Mac systems down below. 12-inch MacBook (2015 and later) MacBook Air (2013 and later) MacBook Pro (Late 2013 and later) Mac mini (2014 and later) iMac (2014 and later) iMac Pro (all models) Mac Pro (2013 and later) macOS 11 Big Sur name This time around, Apple chose Big Sur to symbolize this release of macOS. Much like the unincorporated coastal area in Northern California, this new macOS is supposed to deliver "unmatched levels of power and beauty." macOS 11 Big Sur features Safari Safari is the unsung hero of macOS, and some new improvements have made it even faster – now 50% faster than Chrome, according to Apple – along with even more privacy improvements and better battery consumption. But, that's not all. This is supposedly the biggest update the browser has received since it was first introduced. This new version of Safari will bring a host of new features to the table including Intelligent Tracking that can give you a Privacy Report on each website you visit, Save Passwords to track your passwords and make sure they haven't been compromised, Extensions support for WebExtensions API and a new Extensions category in the App Store, and native translation capabilities. One cool thing here is that the Home Page will now be extremely customizable so you can change the background image and add/edit sections. Messages improvements Messages on macOS has been behind iOS for a while (and kind of still is), but now you can use Pinned Messages, Memoji and the Groups Enhancements that will come with the iOS 14, which is a nice touch. Basically, Messages for Mac will also bring many of the features that its iOS 14 and iPad OS 14 versions will have. It'll also feature a more powerful search, a redesigned photo picker and new messages special effects. AirPods improvements On top of some pretty cool Spatial Audio support for the AirPods Pro, a pretty major improvement for AirPods support on macOS is here. Rather than fiddling with your Bluetooth settings when you want to use your AirPods with your Mac, they will automatically switch to your Mac when you start using it. AirPods will now seamlessly and intuitively switch between devices without you doing anything. Sidebar in Mail and Photos The Apple Mail and Photo apps have been out of date for a while now, but Apple has brought new designs to a lot of the biggest Mac Apps, with the most notable ones being the new sidebars in Mail and Photos. The Photos app will have the same look, feel and features as its iOS 14 version. Control Center on Mac One of the best things about iOS is the super convenient Control Center that lets you change settings at a glance. macOS Big Sur brings that to the Mac, and it's easily accessible in the Menu Bar, so that you can easily change settings without digging through the preferences app. Widgets in the notifications app Just like iOS 14, macOS 10.16 Big Sur is getting widgets in the notifications menu, which will make it easier to get important information at a glance, with easy to read interfaces. These widgets can be customized according to your needs and preference. Mac Catalyst One of the biggest headline features of macOS Mojave was that it brought some big-name iOS apps to the Mac. However, through Mac Catalyst, new APIs and tools will help app developers bring more iOS apps over to the Mac operating system. Through these tools, you'll get features like resizable windows and keyboard tools, which will make them feel like Mac Apps, rather than iPhone apps. Mac on ARM After so many rumors, it's finally happened. Apple has finally announced that Macs will be transitioning to Apple-designed silicon, similar to what we've seen with every other device in its lineup. However, this isn't quite the death knell for Intel that some might think it is. Tim Cook said during the WWDC keynote that there are several Intel-based devices still in the works at Apple, and that the Cupertino behemoth is "very excited" about them. Still, this is probably the biggest change to come to the best Macs in years, as it will natively allow all iPhone and iPad apps to work natively on Macs for the first time. Plus, thanks to Mac Catalyst, and Rosetta 2, which will translate the source code of all Mac Apps, every Mac App will be able to run on the new ARM-based Macs that launch later this year. Apple didn't announce any specific Mac devices that will be using this hardware, but hinted that they're coming – plus we got to see an unnamed iMac running the new software. Still, Developers can apply for Apple's Universal App Quick Start Program, to get access to a Mac Mini running the Apple A12Z Bionic SoC. However, this program will cost developers $500 (about £400 / AU$720).

It shows the classic Kodo design, but now on Isuzu platform and with a three-liter turbo diesel engine. After nine years of waiting, Mazda finally has a brand new BT-50. And this time it really is "totally new", since the signing of Hiroshima ends forever ends with the collaboration with Ford and the Ranger dating from 2006, to start a new era with Isuzu and the D-Max. This third generation of the Mazda BT-50 is produced in Thailand, at the Isuzu facility, but was unveiled worldwide in Australia, perhaps the world's largest market for mid-size pick-ups (or one of the top three). For now, it is exclusively with double cabin bodywork, but it is not ruled out that a single cabin variant will appear in the future. As we have already explained before, the BT-50 is based on the new generation of the Isuzu D-Max launched just in 2019, and which from now on will not be marketed under the Chevrolet logo. It measures 5,280 mm long, 1,870 mm wide, 1,790 mm high and has 3,125 mm between the axles. If we compare it with the BT-50 that is still sold in Chile, it is 9 cm shorter, 2 cm wider, 3 cm higher and has a 9 cm shorter wheelbase. Mazda reports a load capacity of 1,065 kilos and the option of towing up to 3,500 kilos, figures similar to those of the second generation BT-50. It also has 1,114 liters of cargo volume in the pick-up. The engine is new to the brand. For now it is offered with a four-cylinder three-liter turbo diesel, which delivers 190 Hp at 3,600 rpm and 450 Nm of torque between 1,600 and 2,600 rpm, a block that is associated with manual and automatic six-speed boxes, and with rear-wheel drive or 4x4. If we compare it with the current offer of Mazda, this propeller falls a little short of the 3.2-liter, which delivers 197 Hp and the same 450 Nm. The brand indicates that this new engine is much more efficient in fuel consumption. Later should be added the second engine that Isuzu has for the D-Max: a 1.9-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel that delivers 150 Hp and 350 Nm, aligned with the current 2.2-liter 147 Hp. Kodo style The most striking thing about the new BT-50 is the way Mazda incorporated the Kodo design, which can be seen on all its models, with the muscular proportions of a pick-up. The front end sports the familiar look of the entire Mazda family, with the same combination of a heptagonal grille and sculpted headlights we've seen on multiple SUVs, joined by thick chrome three-dimensional wings underneath. It is a clean aesthetic that reminds us of the CX-9. The profile is more traditional in a pick-up, and of course, there is little that can be done here. Mazda incorporated 18-rim tires and side treads, keeping the lines simple but with chiseled folds that mark high shoulders. In the rear it is even more traditional, with the Mazda logo placed under the door handle and three-level spotlights arranged vertically. Following the path traced by Mazda in its vehicles, the interior of the BT-50 is possibly one of the most luxurious you will find in a mid-size pick-up. The photos show us a dark, minimalist look, good-touch materials and a driver-centered layout. The steering wheel is familiar to the brand, but not the large touchscreen, which is placed in the center of the dash and not cantilevered, as we are accustomed to in its new models. As it is standard, it has bluetooth connectivity, and applications via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. At least in Australia it will be offered with abundant equipment: two-zone climate control, keyless system with ignition button, proximity sensors with reverse camera, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency brake, lane maintenance assistant, blind spot sensor, warning of cross traffic. The new BT-50 will go on sale in Australia in the coming months, then starting internationalization towards other Asian and Latin American markets.

The Ministry of Health noted that today 2,511 new cases of COVID-19 were reported, while on May 11 there were 1,515 cases. The Ministry of Health reported that this Monday, June 22, 2,511 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) were registered in Peru and that the total number rose to 257,447. According to that data, the 2,511 new cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours represent the lowest number of infections in 42 days, since, on May 11, 1,515 infected people were reported. The figure reported this Monday is the product of 13,721 tests, while on May 11 7,939 tests were carried out. In the first case the positivity was 18% and in the second it was 19%. -The evolution of contagions- The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported, on March 6, that a man who worked at the airline returned from his vacation in Europe and tested positive for COVID-19. Days later, it was confirmed that his relatives were also infected. The so-called patient zero in Peru gradually recovered and was discharged at the end of March, after completing isolation in his home for 14 days. On May 31, a peak in the number of coronavirus infections (COVID-19) was reached, since 8,805 new cases were reported in a single day.

AMD's Radeon RX graphics cards based on the RDNA 2 GPU architecture are coming and so far, all eyes have been set on the 'Big Navi' GPU which will be launching later this year to compete against NVIDIA's flagship Ampere Gaming graphics cards. But it looks like we should switch gears for this particular topic and take a look at the mainstream RDNA 2 GPUs too. AMD Navi 23 'RDNA 2' GPU Spotted - Most Likely To Power Mainstream Radeon RX Graphics Cards The latest findings come from Rogame who has confirmed the GPU ID for the Navi 23 chip. As per the findings, the Navi 23 GPU will have the GFX1032 ID for its graphics architecture. In fact, majority of the Navi 2X family will feature the GFX103* IDs which were originally found by Komachi and are as listed below: The AMD Navi 21 GPU is the Big Navi chip which will be used in ultra-enthusiast Radeon RX cards. It will also be the first Navi 2X GPU available to consumers, even before the arrival of next-generation consoles. Based on its name alone, it is highly likely that Navi 21 was the first Navi 2X graphics chip to be produced unless a Navi 20 GPU exists too but there have so far been no reports on such chip. When AMD started its new GPU branding with Polaris, they confirmed that the numbers that follow the chip name don't necessarily indicate the performance tier of the GPU but rather the time it was produced. For example, Polaris 10 was the first Polaris chip to be introduced followed by Polaris 11. Polaris 10 was the bigger and faster chip whereas Polaris 11 was an entry-level design. We can't say for sure if AMD is still following the same branding criteria for Navi 2X chips since the older scheme was part of Raja Koduri's philosophy when he formed the original RTG team. Raja Koduri has since jumped shipped to Intel and David Wang currently leads the Radeon Technologies Group and is the mastermind behind the Navi 2X lineup. So once again, if we are to say that Navi 22 would replace Navi 12, yes it will make sense since just like Navi 10 and Navi 21, it will be a smaller chip than the flagship part but Navi 12 has been kept as an exclusive for the update Macbook Pro featuring the Radeon Pro 5600M graphics chip. The same chip is the only Navi GPU in existence to feature HBM2 memory. From what I can tell, the Navi 23 GPU might be the mainstream replacement for the Navi 2X family, succeeding the Radeon RX 5500/5600 series. Since reports suggest that Big Navi 'Navi 21' GPU will be the first RDNA 2 chip launching in the gaming market, it is likely that a Navi 10 refresh could keep things interesting in mainstream segment until AMD launches its RDNA 2 mainstream lineup with the Navi 22 and Navi 23 GPUs. We can definitely expect much lower price points than existing Radeon RX 5000 series cards for the refreshed parts so the added performance would be a bonus. The expected die sizes of these three GPUs are also listed below: You can tell by the die size alone that Navi 23 is expected to be almost as big as the Navi 10 GPU which measures at 251mm2. Again, we haven't seen how hw-accelerated ray tracing blocks affect the overall die size of AMD GPUs. NVIDIA's RTX GPUs saw a slight increase in logic area of around 20-25% on average with the added RT cores. This might explain why even the smaller GPUs are so large compared to current-generation offerings. Or the other possibility is AMD just going for the brute force route and increasing the number of SMs by a huge factor. Rumors have also suggested that both NVIDIA and AMD are planning their next-generation and flagship gaming graphics cards to hit streets by September 2020. So it looks like AMD's RDNA 2 GPUs would compete against whatever is NVIDIA's next-generation GPU inventory. Q3 and Q4 2020 would definitely be interesting times for all the hardware enthusiasts and mainstream PC gamers who are looking forward to upgrading their PCs with the best hardware.

While Spotify has dabbled with video before, it's hardly an integral part of the music streaming app at the moment. That might be about to change, based on code hidden inside the current version of the mobile app. As revealed by serial hidden-feature-revealer Jane Wong on Twitter, Spotify engineers are experimenting with a new Video tab on the now playing screen, to go alongside Album Art and Canvas tabs. There's nothing there yet though – only a message that reads: "Thanks for your interest in video. We're still exploring what could happen here." Music videos would seem to be the obvious choice. If you're unfamiliar with Canvas by the way, it shows short, looping animations provided by the artist for selected songs. It's more visual art than an actual music video, and in the current apps you get to (if it doesn't start playing automatically) it by tapping on the album art. The easy comparison to make here is with Google's up-and-coming YouTube Music, which has music videos front and center – you can switch between video and audio for tracks that have videos with a single tap, for example. YouTube has been a fantastic music resource for years, way before YouTube Music launched. Besides having just about every music video of recent years, Google's video sharing platform also has a ton of rare audio, live recordings, and music uploaded by fans. Now it seems that Spotify is keen to get in on the music video action. It would most likely have to tap up YouTube for access to the videos, which might pose a problem – though YouTube is usually okay with its content getting embedded, as long as it means more views for the clips. As yet Spotify hasn't said anything official about the feature being tested, which comes with the usual caveat: it might end up getting abandoned even before it reaches users. Even if Spotify is only playing around with the idea of music video, it shows how it's thinking about ways to keep users in its apps.

This is a very deep upgrade made to the third generation of the brand's compact sedan. If you're a video game fan, I'm sure you know the Toyota Altezza very well, a Japanese sports sedan that was often called "the Japanese BMW" for its performance similar to that of the 3 Series. It's also likely that if you're a fan of the drift you have seen it in action. What are we going with this? Because this is the name by which the first generation Lexus IS was known in Japan. This serves as an introduction to show you the new Lexus IS 2021, which, as you already saw, has a long history worldwide and has an extensive legion of fans. Away, because here in Latin America it still does not enjoy enormous po[CENSORED]rity. The third generation of this model was introduced in 2013 and Lexus was expected to show a completely new fourth generation these days. After all, he had already shown a preview of it. The date was met, but to everyone's surprise, the IS 2021 was not as new as we expected since it is actually a deep update. Aesthetically, we find a new grill with a "three-dimensional polyhedral structure", which is flanked by new luminaires that now have LED technology. This gives the car a much more modern and exclusive look. The bumpers (front and rear) are also newly designed. The styling changes don't end there, as the designers gave the IS a whole new silhouette, with redesigned side skirts and 18-inch alloy wheels. Back is where there are more novelties, highlighting the complete redesign of the trunk, as well as the rear lights, which are now long and cover the width of the vehicle. In terms of size, the Lexus IS 2021 is slightly larger than its predecessor, being 30mm longer (4,705mm), 30mm wider (1,840mm), and 5mm taller (1,435mm) than before. The only dimension that does not change is the wheelbase that remains at 2.80 meters. While the exterior styling changes are quite dramatic, the interior updates are barely noticeable. That said, there is a modestly revised dash with new circular air vents. Also worth mentioning is a noticeable improvement in finishes and materials, such as the new NuLuxe leather upholstery. The 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system travels 76mm closer to the driver for better touch access, while an optional 10.3-inch can be integrated with compatibility for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as the integration of Amazon Alexa. The Mark Levinson premium audio system was also improved. In the mechanical section we have a varied offer. The entry step is the IS 300, which has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 241 Hp and 350 Nm of torque, and is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Next up is the IS 300 AWD, which not only adds all-wheel drive, but uses a 3.5-liter V6 with 260 Hp and 320 Nm of torque, and is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Finally, the IS 350 has a 3.5-liter V6 that delivers 311 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. The rear-drive variant has an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the all-wheel drive works with a six-ratio automatic. Although the IS 2021 is not completely new, that does not mean that the chassis has not received improvements since, in fact, it is the first car whose tuning corresponds to the new "Lexus driving signature", a development carried out in the Toyota Shimoyama Technical Center, a test track inspired by the Nürburgring circuit. The mark indicates that structural rigidity was improved and overall weight was lowered, while suspension schemes were redesigned. For example, the spirals are 20% lighter thanks to the use of forged aluminum, the same material for stabilizers. Also new are the shock absorbers equipped with ultra-low-speed valves on their pistons to manage oil flow in response to the smoothest irregularities in the road. New stops are also used to help control suspended weight more effectively for greater driving comfort. Lastly, aesthetic F-Sport versions will be available only on IS 350 models, either RWD or AWD. They are distinguished from the rest of the range by a sportier aesthetic kit, including a unique grille and a rear spoiler. It also has a sports exhaust system, a diffuser and 19-inch alloy wheels. In addition, an optional Dynamic Steering Package can be ordered that includes an adaptive variable suspension as well as BBS rims in a matte black finish. The package also adds carbon fiber mirror caps and spoiler. Inside doors, sports seats stand out, as well as leather everywhere and an aluminum pedalboard. The new Lexus IS 2021 is expected to arrive at dealerships in the United States next fall, from there to begin its expansion to more than 40 markets worldwide.

The official balances of the coronavirus of both nations confirm this: in the jungle Loreto there are 7,953 infections and 321 deaths, while in Cusco, which has 50% more po[CENSORED]tion, there are only 1,494 cases and 13 deaths. The inhabitants of the high Andes of Bolivia and Peru have better resisted the coronavirus than their compatriots in the lowlands, which has attracted the attention of experts. In Peru, the second country with the most cases of coronavirus in Latin America behind Brazil, the pandemic has wreaked havoc in coastal cities, including Lima, and in the jungle region of Loreto, where the Amazon River is born. However, less than 10% of infections are in the Andean highlands, over 3,000 meters high, as in Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca empire, where cases are comparatively few and the death toll is minimal. "We have registered the cases that exist in (Peruvian Andean) cities such as Cusco, Huaraz, Cajamarca, Cerro de Pasco, Abancay, Huancavelica, and indeed there are fewer cases," Augusto Tarazona, head of the Commission of Public Health of the Medical College of Peru. "In the cities themselves in elevated areas, cases are minimal and mortality is almost zero. This has caught our attention," he adds. In neighboring Bolivia the same thing happens: contagions are concentrated in the lower eastern regions: in tropical Santa Cruz and the Amazonian region of Beni, bordering Brazil. "The frequency of infections is substantially lower in Bolivia in high-altitude regions, such as La Paz (in the Andean zone), compared to that recorded in low-lying areas such as Santa Cruz," explains the Epidemiology chief of the Bolivian Ministry of Health. , Virgilio Prieto. The official balances of the coronavirus of both nations confirm this: in the jungle Loreto there are 7,953 infections and 321 deaths, while in Cusco, which has 50% more po[CENSORED]tion, there are only 1,494 cases and 13 deaths. In Piura, on the north coast (with 1.8 million inhabitants), there are 14,659 cases and 661 deaths, while the Andean Arequipa (1.4 million) registers 5,454 cases and 145 deaths. The fatality rate in Loreto is 4.04%, while in Cusco it is 0.87%. In Lambayeque, on the Peruvian north coast, it is 5.79%, and in the Andean Ayacucho 0.83%. In Lima, on the central coast, it is 2.42%. Something similar happens in Bolivia: in Santa Cruz there are 12,988 cases, while in La Paz, with almost the same po[CENSORED]tion, there are 1,386. Santa Cruz and the Amazonian Beni account for 68% of the deaths from the pandemic in all of Bolivia. In Beni there are 3,326 cases, while in the Andean Oruro there are 443 although it has 20% more po[CENSORED]tion. Peru, with 33 million inhabitants, records more than 244,000 coronavirus cases and 7,461 deaths. Bolivia, of 11 million, borders the 21,500 cases with 697 deaths. Permanent hypoxia Life is not easy in the Andean heights, where the great Inca civilization developed from peoples who lived on agriculture and the raising of llamas and alpacas. For now, there is no scientific answer to explain what happens with the coronavirus in high places, but the key would be in the respiratory system of people who live in an environment with less oxygen, according to experts. "These are aspects that are being theorized and are only beginning in-depth studies," says Dr. Tarazona. "People with chronic hypoxia (oxygen starvation) may have fewer ECA (angiotensin-converting enzyme) receptors, which are the gateway gateways for the virus," says Peruvian infectologist Eduardo Gotuzzo. "The virus has fewer doors of entry and can produce less contagion," he adds. Tarazona points out that "it is beginning to be theorized that ACE receptors would have some differences in high Andean people due to their permanent hypoxia." "That makes them adapt to a breathing system with less oxygen, and this in some way influences the pathophysiology of the virus within the human body. There is an adaptation of the body to not retain the virus," he adds. Ultraviolet rays? Another explanation is ultraviolet rays. Certain studies maintain that these act as a natural sterilizer in high areas. "Ultraviolet radiation is definitely higher at height, and that means that the virus survives less or that there are fewer viruses in the exposure areas," says doctor Carlos Ibérico, a pulmonologist at the Sabogal hospital in Lima. However, the ultraviolet theory does not convince everyone. "The possibility that ultraviolet rays could affect something, would occur if the germ was in the street, but the germ is within our body at 37 degrees Celsius," says Prieto, who fears that the supposed benefits of the r

Now that Amazon and Microsoft have put the future use by police of facial recognition in the hands of lawmakers, activists want to keep the technology away from law enforcement permanently. It’s an issue that had previously been debated among artificial intelligence experts and policy wonks. But with Amazon, Microsoft and IBM, to varying degrees, backing away this week from their promoted use of facial recognition, they’ve raised awareness of the topic and placed it squarely in the discussion of police reform. “The fact that companies like Microsoft and Amazon are distancing themselves from police use of facial recognition is a sign of the growing power of the movement,” said Evan Greer, deputy director of Fight for the Future, a nonprofit focused on technology and human rights. “The tectonic plates are shifting on this issue.” But Fight for the Future and its affiliates see this as just a start. Amazon said Wednesday it is putting a one-year moratorium on sales to law enforcement to “give Congress enough time to implement appropriate rules.” Microsoft followed on Thursday by saying that it won’t sell to police until a national law is in place, “grounded in human rights,” that governs its use. IBM did not specifically say it would ban police use of its facial recognition technology. Greer’s group says those bans need to be permanent. Fight for the Future has a website, Ban Facial Recognition, where 40 participating organizations, including MoveOn.org and Greenpeace, have agreed to support “legislation that bans the government from using this dangerous technology to spy on the American public.” They say the technology is oppressive, ripe for abuse and prone to misidentifying people. That sentiment is shared by at least some inside Amazon. A group that goes by “Amazonians: We Won’t Build It” on Twitter, responded to the company’s statement on Thursday, tweeting that ending the sale of Rekognition to law enforcement is a “demand shared by employees in Amazon’s Black Employee Network, the @ACLU, community groups, researchers, and others.” And Timnit Gebru, a research scientist at Google in the ethical AI team, told The New York Times this week that law enforcement can’t be trusted with facial recognition technology. She cited the Baltimore police’s use of the technology in the protests following the 2015 killing of Freddie Gray “to identify protesters by linking images to social media profiles.” “I’m a black woman living in the U.S. who has dealt with serious consequences of racism,” Gebru told the Times. “Facial recognition is being used against the black community.” A debate about the future The argument is more about the future than the present, as facial recognition has yet to gain significant traction in law enforcement. Microsoft says it hasn’t sold at all into that market, and Amazon previously listed only one law enforcement customer — The Washington County Sheriff Office — on the website for its Rekognition software. Still, the prospect of police departments having access to sophisticated technology that allows them to find and track people, with few guardrails, has become untenable after the death of George Floyd at the hands of police and the nationwide protests that followed. Tech companies, with their trillion-dollar market caps, have come under increased pressure from employees, investors and lawmakers to show they’re committed to addressing problems of systemic racism. The House Committee on Oversight and Reform has held hearings on the use of facial recognition technology but hasn’t introduced a bill regulating it. Earlier this year, there was bipartisan support for some level of regulation, with Committee Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., and ranking member Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, expressing concern about the use of facial recognition technology without accountability. “It is an issue that cuts across the political spectrum,” said Greer. One reason that Greer and her allies support an outright ban is that any legislation that regulates facial recognition for police use will likely be influenced by Microsoft and Amazon and their massive lobbying arms in Washington, D.C. “This seems consistent with the playbook,” Greer said. “They say they’re open to regulation or calls for regulation because they know their lawyers will help craft it and make sure it’s friendly to their business model.” To keep their influence at bay, “we will need robust legislation that brings the hammer down and places an outright ban on facial recognition for surveillance purposes in the U.S.,” Greer said.

The Haval H2 was one of the first two cars brought in by the Asian brand owned by Great Wall, already showing in those days its own style and improvements in perceived quality that was somewhat difficult to find in models of the origin. Today, Haval has a different prestige, especially thanks to the H7 and the new H6. These models already enjoy a design and quality that have earned them a good reception from their customers. But after five years, the Haval H2 must catch up with the newer models. During this year it has already started sales in some markets in the region and it is Chile's turn to receive this facelift that makes it look much closer to the new H6 The new hexagonal grill is flatter and is separated from the main bulbs, which are smaller. At the bottom, we also see two large inserts (which look like air intakes) for fog lamps and LED daytime running lights, while in the lower area, an aluminum-colored application that mimics a crankcase cover. It is striking that Haval has not resorted to the clichés of the crossover segment, because at least in the images, we do not see two-tone wheels or plastic trim, which does not have the outgoing model but could have been incorporated into this facelift. The colored roof is sure to return in other versions when the full range is officially launched. The boot is slightly different, with some more pronounced folds, an evolution in the design of the taillights, with wider turn signals, which match a chrome strip that joins both optical groups. The bumper is sportier with two fairly large chrome tailpipes, which we deduce, are just cosmetic. The H2 should maintain its 141 Hp 1.5 Turbo engine with 210 Nm of torque. Depending on the version, we can find heated seats, a reverse sensor and camera, panoramic roof, up to six airbags or a multimedia system with support for Apple CarPlay. The presale starts today, Monday, June 15 at 6:00 p.m. through the Haval website and will last eight days. To insure one of the units, you must directly transfer $ 200,000. The price of the units is $ 10,690,000, which includes a gift, roof bars, luggage box, a brand jacket and an invitation to the next Haval Tour Experience, which is an activity that the brand does a lot with its more loyal customers. More details of the model will be announced later when it is officially launched.

The document issued by the Mincetur will be available to the public for a period of 10 working days to receive opinions and suggestions, said the vice minister of Foreign Trade. The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) published this Saturday the draft Regulation of Legislative Decree No. 1492, which aims to promote the digitization of public and private sector processes, as well as promote transparency in the logistics chain of foreign trade. This document will be available to the public for 10 business days and can be downloaded HERE. As recalled Legislative Decree No. 1492, issued on May 10, approves provisions for the reactivation, continuity and efficiency of operations linked to the logistics chain of foreign trade. The Vice Minister of Foreign Trade, Sayuri Bayona, explained that the prepublication of the Regulation of Legislative Decree No. 1492 will allow to receive opinions and suggestions from public and private entities, as well as civil society organizations and the general public. For this, the email ihuapaya@mincetur.gob.pe was enabled. Improve competitiveness In recent years, the foreign trade sector has been losing competitiveness as a result of limitations in the support infrastructure, inadequate loading, unloading, security processes, low levels of innovation and little transparency regarding its rates. "Legislative Decree No. 1492 seeks to boost the logistics competitiveness of foreign trade, through the transparency of costs, thus ensuring predictability in the operations carried out by users with respect to the contracted services related to the transport of goods," explained the vice minister. Bayonne. "This standard also establishes the digitization of all the processes carried out in the logistics chain of foreign trade, both for the public and private sectors," he added. The Mincetur pointed out that although the implementation of the digitization of processes of foreign trade operators has been taking place in recent years, the need to ensure that all foreign trade operators digitize their procedures is essential due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alleged specifications of NVIDIA's next-generation GeForce RTX 3090, RTX 3080 & Titan RTX with Ampere Gaming GPUs have been detailed. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series will be featuring a brand new graphics architecture and other key driving features for faster gaming performance in next-generation AAA titles. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090, RTX 3080 & Titan RTX With Ampere Gaming Graphics Cards Allegedly Feature GA102 GPUs There are several rumors going on around the GeForce RTX 30 series since the coolers leaked out last month. But almost everywhere we're hearing one thing consistently which is that the GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3090 will be the first cards featuring the Ampere Gaming GPUs. Latest version of specifications come from KatCorgi and Kopite7kimi (via Videocardz) who have not only shared the same specs in the current month but Kopite7kimi was accurate with his previous leaks for the A100 GPU. Based on that, let's see what latest details do these two leakers have to share with us but most importantly, since all of this is unconfirmed at the moment, it will be wise to treat this rumor with a grain of salt until we recieve more information. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 - The Fastest Ampere Gaming Graphics Card The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 is an interesting graphics card based on its naming scheme. I already talked around the nomenclature of this card in my previous post mentioning why NVIDIA would be choosing this particular naming scheme that was previously reserved for dual-chip graphics cards. It is highly likely that the RTX 3090 could be an internal codename for the RTX 3080 Ti but if we dive to much into those details, we will just be moving away from today's topic. So let's call it the GeForce RTX 3090 for now. According to the details, the GeForce RTX 3090 will feature the GA102-300-A1 GPU. This is one of the three SKUs that we will be talking about in this particular post. The GA102-300-A1 GPU is said to be comprised of 5248 CUDA cores or 82 SMs. In total, that's a 20% increase in cores over the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. No details such as clock speeds, TMU/ROP counts is provided and we can't take the Ampere A100 die as a reference since gaming and HPC parts share a different configuration hierarchy. Moving on to the memory side, things start to look interesting as it is stated that the card will get up to 12 GB memory with speeds of up to 21 Gbps. Since that's a 384-bit bus we are looking at, it will be able to offer up to 1 TB/s bandwidth. This overclocked memory design is being referred to as GDDR6X and there's no such information available yet by any graphics DRAM vendor unlike the previous GDDR6 DRAM which was officially reported months before its integration on the Turing graphics cards. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 - GA102 For High-End Gaming Moving on to the GeForce RTX 3080, the rumor reports that the card will be featuring the GA102-200-Kx-A1 SKU. This cut down SKU will feature the same 4352 CUDA cores as the RTX 2080 Ti that will be arranged in a total of 68 SMs. The card is reportedly going to feature 10 GB of memory that is also going to be GDDR6X, running at 19 Gbps across a 320-bit bus interface with a bandwidth of 760 GB/s. The switch to GA102 from TU104 on the RTX 2080 is definitely an interesting one. A high-end SKU would also result in higher wattage and thermals but I believe this could be done to raise the bar up on the sub $500 segment which should comprise of GA104 based RTX 3070 and RTX 3060. If that's the case, than we can expect a good performance jump in that segment which we recently talked about in one of our article. NVIDIA 2nd Gen Titan RTX - Based on Unlocked Ampere GA102 GPU Finally, we have reports on a 2nd Generation Titan graphics cards. The card is stated to be a 2nd generation Titan RTX card but like the Titan X and Titan X(p) before it, the new card would make use of the Ampere GA102-400-A1 GPU. The GPU will be composed of 84 SMs for a total of 5376 CUDA cores. The card is said to feature 24 GB of GDDR6X memory across a 384-bit bus interface and a memory bandwidth of 816 GB/s which although is lower than the RTX 3090 due to a slower pin speed of 17 Gbps but will be compensated by the enhanced memory compression architecture plus you will be getting twice the memory buffer as the RTX 3090. According to Jensen, all next-generation products will be featuring the same NVIDIA Ampere GPU architecture. The first outing of Ampere will be for the cloud and research segment in the form of the Ampere GA100 GPU which is designed solely for the HPC environment. The gaming cards will definitely feature Ampere GPUs but will come later.

Follow-up to Google Hangouts get much-loved feature Probably one of the most frequently requested features for regular users of Google Meet, the company's po[CENSORED]r video conferencing software, is the ability to blur out call backgrounds and add in custom versions. Microsoft Teams and Zoom already offer this feature, and we can now confirm Google is planning to introduce it soon on both mobile and desktop. Tucked away in a document that sets out upcoming G Suite releases are the following two entries: “Background blur and replace (for mobile)” and “Background blur and replace (for desktop)”. The feature is described as the ability to "blur the background or replace it with an image or video on desktop.” However, it's worth noting the document is subject to a few caveats. New items are added roughly every three months and newly introduced features are removed, and the list of releases is not an official commitment and is subject to change without notice. Finally, the listed releases are not “guaranteed to become generally available and may be modified from their current form”. Other features are likely to be rolled out at the same time, as Meet takes over from its predecessor Hangouts for good. Also in the same development bucket are meeting moderation controls, the ability to dial out to an international phone number from a Meet video call, cloud-based noise cancellation, breakout rooms and the integration of Google’s digital whiteboard. Google Meet is simple to use and offers a growing list of features for millions of workers that have had to adjust their working patterns as a result of the pandemic. The service was previously paid for but became free in May, with the company also announcing tighter Gmail integration.

The Central Reserve Bank (BCR) predicts that the sectors hardest hit by the state of emergency will be manufacturing, construction and commerce. The Central Reserve Bank (BCR) significantly reduced the growth estimate of the Peruvian economy for this year, due to the paralysis caused by the state of emergency in the country due to the wave of contagion from Covid-19. The issuing entity estimates that the country's GDP will contract 12.5% in 2020, a projection that contrasts with the 3.8% they expected in December last year, before the new coronavirus spread around the world. The BCR's projection is even slightly higher than the World Bank estimate, which predicted that the Peruvian economy would contract 12% in 2020, the deepest drop in Latin America. Among the sectors hardest hit by the economic downturn, the BCR predicts that key activities such as manufacturing, construction and trade will show declines this year that will exceed 20%, which already has a direct impact on employment. In detail, non-primary manufacturing, intensive in hiring personnel, would suffer a 23.8% drop this year, according to the BCR. While the construction sector would collapse 25.4% and trade would drop to 23.6%. Meanwhile, among primary activities, the key mining sector, one of the main engines of the country's economy, would experience a contraction of 10.2%, while the hydrocarbon sector would face a 14.4% reduction in 2020. Among the few sectors that would show positive results in 2020 are fishing (9.5%), agriculture (1.3%) and primary manufacturing (2.1%), mainly linked to the production of fishmeal. However, the BCR expects the Peruvian economy to show a strong recovery in 2021 and projects that GDP will rebound with growth of 11.5%, an estimate higher than the 3.8% they expected in December 2019. Although the outlook is still quite clear uncertain in the coming months.

Windows 10 May 2020 Update comes with a very useful change that should help to reduce memory usage with some apps, with Google Chrome reportedly being one of the beneficiaries of this, and hopefully ending its reputation as a RAM-hogging browser. The change is a pretty technical under the hood move involving ‘SegmentHeap’ memory improvements, which Microsoft describes as a “modern heap implementation that will generally reduce your [app’s] overall memory usage”. Indeed, Microsoft is already using this for its Edge browser – with internal testing showing a substantial 27% reduction in memory usage – and so Google is going to adopt it for Chrome, according to a Chromium commit spotted by Windows Latest. The Google engineer making the commit observed: “Experiments with per-machine opting-in to the segment heap for chrome.exe suggests that this could save hundreds of MB in the browser and Network Service utility processes, among others, on some machines. Actual results will vary widely, with the greatest savings coming on many-core machines.” Multi-core magic There should be some level of reduced memory usage for those running the May 2020 Update and Chrome, then, although as observed there could be quite a variance as to exactly how much impact will be felt, and those with multiple-core processors (which is where modern CPUs are really pushing forward hard – particularly Ryzen models) will get the most benefit. Note that support for ‘SegmentHeap’ is not yet in place, and it’s not clear exactly when Google will bring this to May 2020 Update users – but it’s in the pipeline, and hopefully won’t be long. As mentioned, this could be a huge benefit to those who use the po[CENSORED]r Chrome browser, as certainly its biggest downside is that it can seem to utilize system memory like it’s going out of fashion – particularly when you start opening a lot of tabs. So this should be a compelling reason to upgrade to Windows 10 May 2020 Update, although currently, Chrome users have a compelling reason not to upgrade, sadly (but hopefully that bug will soon be fixed).

No one can deny that the Fiat Panda is a living history of the automotive sector. Few models have reached a commercial life as long as this model has enjoyed. It is more in 2020 is birthday, because the first generation made an appearance in 1980. However, he does not want to fall into the typical "depression of the forties" and therefore, when he is about to meet his fourth installment, he receives a twist. We refer to the Fiat Panda Mild Hybrid Easy. Light hybridization came to the Panda family a few months ago, but is now spreading to other versions. The exclusivity of this launch fell on the City Cross body, but the FCA Group wants to make this technology more accessible. Therefore, it has decided that the version with Easy bodywork also enjoys it. In this way, they improve their dominant position in the market. The Fiat Panda Mild Hybrid Easy adds to the City Cross body Panda's Easy body differs from City Cross in its focus. That is, it abandons the black plastic protections and the fenders to offer a more urban image. In addition, it reduces its ground clearance and the suspension picks up the body better. The rest of the elements that make up its aesthetics remain, with nice and pleasant lines that, despite the passing of the years, continue to attract a large number of customers. The aesthetic change assumed by this version is limited to the inclusion of the «Hybrid» logo on the tailgate. All in all, the big evolution is under the hood as, as the name suggests, it houses the new Smooth Hybrid Powertrain. Thus, the new 70 HP 1.0 FireFly gasoline block is joined by an electric motor BSG (integrated starter generator on the belt) that allows it to recover energy during braking and holding.

During a visit to a hospital in Pucallpa, the head of state noted that currently the rate of infections "is less than one," despite the fact that Peru is among the countries with the most cases. President Martín Vizcarra defended the strategy that the Government has been employing in the fight against COVID-19 at the national level, despite the total number of registered cases and Peru's position on a world list where it is in position 7, above Italy. During a visit to Ucayali, Vizcarra noted that this region had "difficult weeks" in its fight against COVID-19; however, "little by little the disease begins to subside and the number of infections and deaths decrease" due to this disease. "The strategy is working, it is reducing the rt, which is the contagion rate, which is already less than one and so the trend is decreasing and that allows us to gradually and progressively restart some economic activities," he assured. Likewise, the president recognized that several hospitals nationwide have deficiencies in their infrastructure in the midst of the emergency. In this sense, he assured that the Government will bet on implementing improvements. "If this pandemic has taught us anything, it is that Peru has not been prepared with a good health system," he said. Vizcarra mentioned that two weeks ago, through an Emergency Decree, it was decided to expand the hospital offer by 5 thousand beds to confront COVID-19. He also recalled that when this epidemic began, the country only had 2,000 beds available to serve patients with this disease. "Now we already have 13,000 beds. From 2,000 that we had at the beginning we have been increasing and now we have 13,000 and the idea is to reach 20,000 beds in a month. For this we have made a plan to increase this offer and in the case de Pucallpa are ready and starting tomorrow they will receive COVID patients in adequate conditions, "he stressed. After highlighting that these beds are duly equipped with oxygen, the President greeted the staff who work at Villa EsSalud in Pucallpa for manufacturing their own Ivermectin, a medicine used by the EsSalud network within the basic kit to serve patients. with COVID-19. "Here they process and make the vials, and now they have an offer of 300 a day and they are going to produce 6,000 vials a month. We have sent more than a thousand treatments for patients who come from the warehouses in Lima, but here they have a production to be able to give to the other regions, "he noted.

Word out of Taiwan is that AMD has decided to delay the launch of its Zen 3 based Ryzen 4000 CPU series from September 2020 to early 2021. This is not because of any technical difficulty but simply due to consistently strong demand for Ryzen 3000 series and lack of competition from Intel. Considering the magnitude of this leak and because it contradicts earlier reports, we have marked this post as a rumor. Caution is advised. That said, Digitimes is one of the most reliable newspapers in Taiwan when it comes to tech and has extensive industry sources so this might just turn out to be true regardless. AMD has delayed the launch of its 7nm EUV based 'Zen 3' Ryzen 4000 CPUs to early 2021 according to Taiwan's biggest technology newspaper [debunked] According to earlier reports (and the official roadmap), AMD was planning to shift to the 7nm EUV process from TSMC with its Zen 3 architecture by the end of the year. This would have absolutely cemented its place in the x86 market and led to significantly increased market share. It would also have made Intel offering completely uncompetitive (at current pricing) as its 10nm HEDT parts aren't expected to ship this year. Interestingly, Digitimes believes that Intel will not be able to ship 10nm in volume this year either and because of this AMD will be delaying their 7nm EUV launch to CES 2021. Interestingly, the report also suggests that AMD might actually decide to skip 7nm EUV altogether and move to 5nm (which should also be an EUV node) at the CES 2021 launch. AMD's move to 5nm by early 2021 is something we have heard before and it would also rationalize skipping 7nm EUV from a business perspective even further. [opinion] Considering they have already announced the move and all of our reports are suggesting a launch by October, I am not entirely convinced by this report. AMD has shown to be incredibly reactive to public perception and going back on their planned roadmap to take a leaf out of Intel-of-olde's book might not get the warmest reception. [/opinion] If AMD is actually planning to delay this move, we will almost certainly hear from our usual sources before then as well and verify this story when it happens. For the purists, here is a translation of the relevant portions by @chiakohua aka RetiredEngineer reproduced with permission: According to motherboard manufacturers, due to the pandemic and competitive reasons, Intel and AMD kept changing their 2020 desktop roadmap and launch schedules, causing major headaches for the supply chain. In addition, NVIDIA and AMD are also keeping the launch schedules for their next-gen GPUs secret, to avert pricing mani[CENSORED]tions by their opponents. Judging from the way things now look on both sides, AMD's Ryzen 3000 series, launched since July 2019, will continue to be hot-sellers. Refreshed models coming in June/July are the motherboard manufacturers' important products for stimulating sales in the second half. In contrast, the earliest Intel will officially launch 10nm desktop processors is at the end of 2021. If Intel does not have any secret weapons during the intervening one-and-a-half years, it's desktop market share may touch new lows, and AMD can be expected to hit the 30% mark in one fell swoop. Riding on hype and advantages of TSMC's 7nm and below advanced process, AMD's Ryzen 3000 series, launched since July 2019, has been able to deliver excellent price/performance overall and continues to be a hot-seller, outshining Intel's Comet Lake. Following the launch of the B550 chipset on June 16, motherboard makers are now in full ramp-up mode, with the A520 chipset soon to follow. Three new models of Ryzen 3000 series processors codenamed Matisse Refresh, previously not on the roadmap, will be added to the line-up on July 7, including Ryzen 9 3900XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT and Ryzen 5 3600XT, replacing the current 3900X, 3800X and 3600X respectively. In addition, low-end APUs codenamed Renoir will follow on July 21. According to motherboard manufacturers, sales for Ryzen 3000 series are hot. Accordingly, AMD is extending its life cycle, and definitely will not be launching the next-gen Ryzen 4000 series, based on Zen3 architecture and using TSMC's 7nm EUV process, in Sep. The earliest Ryzen 4000 series will enter mass production is end of 2020, and launch in Jan 2021 at CES. Whether it will be changed to 5nm EUV process is unclear at the moment. This strategy also shows that the desktop battle has clearly reversed. Due to the mediocre performance of Intel's Comet Lake and new products coming at the end of the year still staying on the 14nm node, [AMD] decided to adjust the schedule for transitioning from old to new platform. As understood, following Comet Lake, Intel will launch Rocket Lake at the end of 2020, at the earliest. But it will still stay on the 14nm process. The first 10nm desktop processor Alder Lake will only be released at the end of 2021 at the earliest, which is to say Intel is yet to fully enter the 10nm era for another one and a half years. Current observations indicate that motherboard makers such as ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI and ASRock, along with HP, Dell, Acer and Lenovo have continued to increase shipments and the proportion of new projects for AMD platforms quarter by quarter. AMD's market share for desktops can be expected to reach 30% by the end of this year soonest, making a new high for the DIY channel in more than 10 years. ....market condition has futher reinforced AMD's momentum and pushed up sales for notebook and server platforms. If Intel fails to amend its roadmap or start a price war in the second half, market share loss in 2021 will be even more severe. Not just for PCs, but also servers, which might see AMD grabbing 10% share, constraining [Intel's] growth momentum. In addition, it is worth noting that Nvidia and AMD are also very secretive about the launch schedule of their next-gen graphics chips. Nvidia has already released the A100 GPU based on Ampere architecture, developed for AI and HPC applications. Consumer-grade GeForce GPUS are rumored to launch in August. AMD, on the other hand, will be waiting for Nvidia to launch its new products before revealing this year's new product Big Navi, currently expected to launch in Q4. With AMD and Nvidia launching new products successively and increasing orders for TSMC's 7nm, 7nm EUV and 5nm processes, the two large manufacturers have become key customers for TSMC, helping to fill the demand gap left by Huawei.

A decade ago, we probably didn't have much interest in this test we published. The pick-ups have always been conceived in our country as vehicles purely for work and for the field. However, things have changed a lot since then and that is why we bring you the sixth generation of the Mitsubishi L200. This model has been in the market for more than 40 years and is currently marketed in more than 150 countries, with data thus clear the importance it has for the diamond brand. The Mitsubishi L200 accounts for around 20% of the brand's sales globally. In Spain it will probably not be overwhelmingly successful, even though the laws changed and the top speed of the pick-up trucks equaled that of the passenger car. Still, it will continue to succeed in other places such as Thailand, which is where it is manufactured, or in Australia under more peculiar names such as Mitsubishi Triton or Strada. With this test we want to explain what it is to live with a vehicle of this nature that can also be an interesting option focused on leisure. For all those who have in mind that image of a Spartan car and with hardly any concessions to comfort, we anticipate that the Mitsubishi L200 will surprise you. It is positioned much closer to the rest of the cars in the range and has complete equipment. Exterior As we were saying, pick-ups have not been cars with a flat and boring design for a long time. In fact, the L200 ranks as one of the most eye-catching in the segment after this update. It is much more aggressive than its predecessor and takes some keys that we have already seen in other examples such as the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. The front is the most prominent part thanks to the Dynamic Shield design language. This silver grill with a generous chrome frame is striking. It also goes in line with the optics with Full LED technology for the first time, while the fog lamps have a vertical arrangement. At the bottom, the metal protection could not be missing. If we move along the side, it is easy to see the generous wheel arches, which in this case house 18-inch wheels in a two-tone finish and are fitted with M + S. Although what stands out the most is this Hard Top cover, an accessory that closes the loading surface and that will make it win in practicality as we will see below. The rear is still a somewhat more sober area that has some vertical pilots, some chrome elements and silver protection. Before going inside we have to mention that we are in front of a pick-up that reaches 5.30 meters long, 1.81 meters wide and 1.78 meters high. With a wheelbase of just 3 meters, it is a vehicle that will offer a lot of space, especially behind it and with which we can have a hard time maneuvering in a parking lot or driving in the city. Inside Everything that imposes on the outside and everything unusual that can become is forgotten when we climb inside. Here, the L200 is also not that different from the rest of Mitsubishi and we see a lot of that technology that we would see in any SUV. It can be seen in details such as the multimedia system with a 7-inch touch screen. It does not have navigation nor is it the most sophisticated or precise on the market, but it has a connection to Apple Carplay and Android Auto, so many doors open. It is even surprising that it has an HDMI socket next to USB. In the instrumentation part we see two large traditional spheres and in the center a color screen that acts as an on-board computer and is controlled from the multifunction steering wheel. If we continue talking about some controls, the air conditioning controls are traditional and correct, and here in the center console are the gear lever, the handbrake and the traction control wheel. In terms of quality, it is true that it lags somewhat behind the SUV. The majority of hard plastics are used, although the touch is not unpleasant and give a feeling of durability. The chrome trim is correct and does not flaunt, while some piano black appears in some areas. The highlight is probably the leather upholstery that comes with this Kaiteki finish, which is the top of the range. If we talk about habitability, these front seats are exceeded at all levels, mainly in height. It is true that the seats do not collect too much the body and that access is somewhat complicated, but hey, we have the help of the handle to climb. Even in this finish we have heated front seats, a detail that others do not offer. As you can see, we have two rear doors, which means that we are with the double cabin version of the Mitsubishi L200 and that we will have capacity for five occupants. There are also single cab versions with a higher cargo space. But here we are going to focus on saying that they are quite decent rear seats for legroom and height. The usual happens with the central plaza that lacks form, but you can get out of a hurry and a console comes out of it for when it is not used. We also have a couple of USB jacks behind here, but no vents. Trunk Well, here more than a trunk we have to talk about loading surface. The standard Mitsubishi L200 has the box uncovered, but with this optional accessory we can cover it and get more out of it. The first advantage is found with this opening on two levels, on the one hand, the window, useful for putting small objects. On the other hand, the lower part, which stands out for not falling to plumb, something that must be valued, and also for being able to support a lot of weight. The interior of this surface exceeds 1.5 meters in length and achieves a loading volume of 1.1 cubic meters and a maximum load capacity of 1,075 kg. These data, which will interest those who will really work with it, are complemented by a rugged, high-resistance plastic finish that is also very easy to clean. Add that with this Hard Top cover you also add a courtesy light and some windows that include a compass opening.
