  4. NVIDIA has officially launched its fastest Ampere graphics card, the GeForce RTX 3090. The GeForce RTX 3090 is the fastest graphics card on the planet offering unprecedented levels of performance, being up to 50% faster than the Titan RTX for half the price. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Flagship Graphics Card Now Available, Starting at $1499 US - A Titan In Disguise! The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card is the fastest in the Ampere lineup and can now be purchased at your local retail outlets. The reference Founders Edition variant will cost $1499 US. The NVIDIA RTX 3090 will feature a price of $1499 (MSRP) however custom models will vary depending on their design and the extra horse-power that they have to offer. For those who missed the train, we published a ton of performance metrics for the Founders Edition variant in our own review which you can check out over here. EVGA’s GeForce RTX 3090 KINGPIN Shatters 3DMark Port Royal World Record, Overclocked To An Insane 2580 MHz Our very own Tech Editor, Keith May, concluded that the GeForce RTX 3090 is an amazing product for the right consumer who knows what to do with this beast of a card. While the GeForce RTX 3090 was consistently 50% faster, or more, over the GeForce RTX 2080Ti the Achilles Heel of the RTX 3090 isn't really its price so much as it is the RTX 3080. The GeForce RTX 3080 comes within spitting distance of the GeForce RTX 3090 and does so for much less of your money. So why would you go for the RTX 3090 instead? It's simple, those who know they can use what the card offers will likely find great value in it, others might just want to have the absolute best on the market and past Titan sales have proven that person does exist. But folks like me who are simply PC Gaming enthusiasts might just find themselves better suited with the likes of the Ampere Flagship gaming card instead. - Wccftech GeForce RTX 3090 Review There are several ways to buy a GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card but do note that just like the RTX 3080, the GeForce RTX 3090 will have limited quantities so there are chances that not everyone that is hoping to buy the card will get one at launch. Following is NVIDIA's official statement regarding the availability of the GeForce RTX 3090 at launch: If you're looking to purchase the Founders Edition graphics card, then you can head over to NVIDIA's GeForce Shop webpage which is listed below: MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Gaming X Trio 24 GB GDDR6X Graphics Card Review – The Real Ampere Flagship! 5. Steve Nash isn’t just a head coach in the NBA now, he’s amongst the legends of the game. The two-time NBA MVP now headlines the new NBA 2K21 MyTeam Playoff Dimers release. The newest promotion is part of One Will Rise, the first season of 2K21 content. Nash is joined by several other players in packs, with new challenges also available in the mode. Steve Nash headlines NBA 2K21 MyTeam Playoff Dimers The NBA 2K21 game features a who’s who of stars past and present. Steve Nash certainly qualifies as a major star. An 18-season career in the NBA included a total of 12 postseasons for Nash. He had his best numbers in the playoffs (18.2 points, 9.7 assists, 53.7% FG) with his longtime team the Phoenix Suns. Starting next season, he’ll be the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets. In the meantime, he headlines NBA 2K21 MyTeam Playoff Dimers packs with a new 93 overall Diamond card. Current NBA analyst with TNT, Chris Webber, is also part of the group with a 92 overall Diamond card. Webber was part of 10 playoff runs through his career, and averaged 18.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game. Rounding out the group of five players available in the packs are Sleepy Floyd (91 OVR Amethyst), Robert Reid (89 OVR Ruby), and Doc Rivers (88 OVR Ruby). Packs are available for 7,500 Virtual Currency or 10,500 MT. The NBA 2K21 MyTeam Playoff Dimers boxes are 67,500 VC for a 10-pack box or 135,000 VC for a 20-pack box. Keep in mind that none of these items contain a guaranteed Playoff Dimers player, though. The Auction House is the better way to get a specific player but for more MT. Visit MTDB’s listing to get a look at all of the attributes and Badges for the new Playoff Dimers cards. New challenges, locker code There are a few other new pieces of content along with NBA 2K21 MyTeam Playoff Dimers packs. 2K21 MyTeam Twitter dropped a new Locker Code to enter for a chance at a free pack. It could also result in a Consumables Pack, or two MyTeam Tokens. There are also five new challenges available as part of the promotion. Four of the challenges match up with four of the players involved in the packs. There’s a 1990 Rockets challenge with Sleepy Floyd, 2002 Kings for Webber, 2005 Suns for Nash, and 1987 Hawks for Rivers. The fifth challenge, “Playoff Dimers” involves the Golden State Warriors. Each challenge brings 300 MT, with the exception of the final challenge. The reward there is a One Will Rise: Playoff Dimers Award Pack. It’s also got the highest difficulty level of the five challenges. Visit our NBA 2K page to get more updates and how to guides for the game.

  7. The sudden transition to working from home during the pandemic has completely upended the lives of workers around the world. While many employees used to use their morning commute as a chance to relax or reflect on the day ahead of them, the switch to remote working has taken this personal time from them. To make matters worse, many organizations now expect their workers to begin their jobs right at the start of the day since they no longer need to travel to and from the office. According to a study from Microsoft Research, commutes can serve as meaningful transitions at the beginning and end of the workday and in fact, the reflection done during this time can increase productivity by 12 to 15 percent. We've put together a list of the best productivity tools These are the best business accessories to help you be more productive Also check out our roundup of the best cloud storage services In order to give remote workers more time at the beginning and end of every day, Microsoft has announced a new feature, which will be available in the first half of 2021, for its video conferencing solution Teams which allows users to schedule a virtual commute that helps them have a productive start in the morning and mindfully disconnect in the evening. Microsoft Teams panels As employees begin to return to the office, meeting rooms will provide a welcome change to their work from home setups and will likely be at a premium. To make it easier for workers to know when a meeting room is occupied, Microsoft has unveiled a new category of devices called Microsoft Teams panels that can be mounted outside of a meeting space. These devices are essentially small tablets that can also use information from other connected certified Teams devices such as cameras to show room capacity information and help workers follow their organization's social distancing guidelines. The first companies to partner with Microsoft to create Teams panels are Crestron and Yealink but expect others to join once it comes closer to the launch of these new devices.

  8. Just under a month ago Samsung officially listed its next-generation PCIe 4.0 based 980 Pro NVMe drive on their website, now they've announced the launch window and some reviews have already gone live. To cut to the chase the Samsung 980 Pro SSD will be available worldwide 'this month', so assuming before the end of September 2020. Samsung 980 Pro PCIe Gen 4.0 For Gamers and Creative Professionals Samsung is targeting its 980 Pro Series squarely at the gamer and creative professionals who are working with graphics-heavy games and large 4K and 8K content. This is a bit of a strange move to pair gamers and content creators together in this way because it's typically been the EVO Series that gamers have gravitated towards and content creators lean to the Pro Series, but perhaps we'll see a merge in the coming generations. Tesla Outlines Staggering $2 Trillion Investment Estimate To Scale Battery Production “Over the years, Samsung has continuously challenged the limits of high-speed flash memory storage solutions,” said Dr. Mike Mang, vice president of Memory Brand Product Biz at Samsung Electronics. “The new 980 PRO SSD reflects our continuing commitment to delivering exceptional products consumers have come to expect from Samsung.” The Samsung 980 Pro comes packed with a custom Elpis controller, V-Nand, and DRAM, all completely designed in-house by Samsung rather than relying on the Phison based controllers like most all other PCIe Gen 4.0 drives do so far. The claims by Samsung for the 980 Pro is that we'll see sequential read and write speeds of up to 7,000 MB/s and 5,000MB/s respectively as well as random read and write speeds of up to 1,000K IOPS. Samsung is changing things up when it comes to thermal capacities here and avoiding the pre-attached heatsink method by making use of a nickel coating on the controller as well as a heat spreader label on the back of the SSD along with their Dynamic Thermal Guard technology. This keeps the drive in the typical form factor allowing for deployment in many scenarios, including TigerLake powered laptops that can take advantage of PCIe Gen 4.0 drives. Pricing and Availability The Samsung SSD 980 PRO comes in 1TB, 500GB, and 250GB models, and will be available worldwide starting this month, while the 2TB capacity model will be available by the end of this year. The 980 PRO’s manufacturer’s suggested retail prices start at $89.99 for the 250GB drive, $149.99 for the 500GB drive, and $229.99 for the 1TB drive.

  9. As Season 06 – Boosted continues in Apex Legends, Respawn has released another exclusive skin for players to claim and download via Prime Gaming. The all-new Bloodhound skin, “Will of the Allfather,” will only be available for a limited time, so players should act sooner rather than later to get their hands on it. Apex Legends Bloodhound Skin – Will of the Allfather “Everyone knows Bloodhound is the best tracker in the Outlands,” writes Respawn; “but pleasing the gods requires more than the hunt. You must also look good doing it. While it is not always easy to know the will of the Allfather, in this case it’s clear: you must pick up Bloodhound’s newest outfit. Stalk your pray in a style that pays your respects to the Old Ways. If you are half the hunter we believe you are, your radiant purple visibility should be no problem at all. Now go forth and shed bloth in honour of the Allfather.” “Will of the Allfather,” the new Apex Legends Bloodhound skin, is the latest of Respawn’s exclusive offerings available solely through Prime Gaming. As per usual, the skin will be available to download for around one month; until the 20th of October. After that, there’s no guarantee that the skin will ever return. Players can download the new skin from the Apex Legends Prime Gaming page. In fact, the “Custom Finish” Rampart skin and “Finely-Tuned” Gun Charm are also currently still available, although they will likely become unavailable very soon. To be able to claim the Will of the Allfather skin, players will need to link their Apex Legends account to their Prime Gaming account. (So, you will of course need to be a Prime Gaming subscriber.) Respawn has been offering regular exclusive cosmetics through Prime Gaming for a long time now, and is currently offering a steady stream of exclusive content, with a new Apex Legends skin available every month.

  10. Is the new Apple iOS 14 just Android in disguise? Screenshot by Sarah Tew/CNET This story is part of Apple Event, our full coverage of the latest news from Apple headquarters. Apple on Wednesday released iOS 14, the latest version of the operating system that offers the latest features and improvements for your iPhone. The release follows the company's September event, where it also announced two new Apple Watches and a revamped iPad Air. The new iOS 14 was among the slew of announcements Apple made in June at WWDC 2020, its annual Worldwide Developers Conference. While many of the iOS 14 features might seem new to iPhone users, those familiar with Android devices could be feeling deja vu. Here's a list of all the new Apple iOS 14 features that Android already had. Translate iOS 14 has a new Translate app that's designed for use in real-time conversation. It can translate between 11 languages, including English, Mandarin Chinese, French, German and Korean. As of March 2020, Google's 14-year-old dedicated translate app could transcribe conversations in eight languages in real time. Apple's Translate app in iOS 14. Sarah Tew/ CNET Widgets With the new operating system, the revamped iPhone ($699 at Amazon) and iPad ($270 at Back Market) home screens now include widgets, which let you see information like the weather at a glance. Prior to the announcement at WWDC, iPhone users could only have apps on the iPhone home screen. But widgets, which contain more information and are more functional than app icons, have been a mainstay feature on Google's Android since its inception in 2008. App Clips in iOS 14. Sarah Tew/ CNET App Clips Apple's App Clips let users preview "small parts" of apps quickly without downloading them. This can come in handy when trying to pay for takeout or parking, since App Clips is compatible with Apple Pay and Sign In with Apple. Google introduced a similar feature, Instant Apps, in 2016. Instant Apps gives apps their own URL so users don't have to download an entire app for a single transaction, like buying concert tickets for example. App Library Another part of Apple's redesigned home screen is an App Library that organizes your apps into groups and lists. With the new home screen in iOS 14, users can also "hide" apps from their main home screen. This is similar to Android's app drawer, sans the grouping features. Apple Maps cycling directions The updated Apple Maps app provides ways to travel in a more eco-friendly fashion in iOS 14 and WatchOS 7. The dedicated Cycling option helps users find bike paths while taking into account elevation, whether the route you take is busy or quiet, and if you'll encounter any stairs. While Google Maps doesn't factor in stairs, there has been the option to select "cycling" since 2010. When I tried it on my Pixel 3 ($333 at Amazon), the step-by-step directions offer a look at elevation on a trip, too. Apple's cycling directions in Apple Maps. Screenshot by Sarah Tew/CNET Picture-in-picture Apple's new picture-in-picture feature lets users watch a video while using other apps. The video shrinks and be able to float anywhere on the screen. It can also be swiped away and the video's audio can still play. Android phones already have the ability to float videos over other apps, although the audio doesn't continue to play if the video is swiped away. Apple's Wind Down mode in iOS 14. Sarah Tew/CNET Wind Down mode Another new feature is a Wind Down mode that helps users get ready for bed. The feature, which works for iPhone and Apple Watch ($399 at Apple), lets you set a desired bedtime and wake-up time, and puts your phone into Do Not Disturb mode. There are also options to add shortcuts for meditation or playing relaxing music. Google doesn't have a dedicated app for this, but there is a way to set up a bedtime routine through the Google Home app.

  11. SteelSeries Apex 3 Review – Whisper-Quietly Confident By Chris Wray 12 hours ago PRODUCT INFO Apex 3 TypeKeyboard Price£59.99/$49.99 Earlier this year when the lockdowns started thanks to a certain infectious virus circulating the globe, I reviewed a few SteelSeries products. The first, a mouse, was the Rival 3, a budget gaming mouse that is more than worth the cost. The second, a keyboard, was the Apex 5, a hybrid keyboard that, again, was more than worth the cost of entry. The Apex 5 also surprised me with hybrid keys that felt great to use. A good number of months later we're going to be looking at another keyboard. This is the Rival 3 of the Apex series, this is the SteelSeries Apex 3. I can't honestly remember the last time I used a full-on membrane keyboard. Well, with the Apex 5 I was using a membrane actuated keyboard, but the hybrid between membrane actuation with the clicky, springy action of mechanical-style keys. With the SteelSeries Apex 3, you have an undeniably affordable keyboard, coming in at an RRP of £59.99 or $49.99. The question is, even at a lower price, is it worth the outlay? SteelSeries Apex 5 Review – Bringing the Hybrid Home Much like the Rival 3 mouse, SteelSeries looks to quash any notions that a (relatively) cheap product is one that is poorly made, not really suitable for the task it's designed for and any other general thought that pops into your head. Does the Apex 3 succeed in this? Well, that's always a bit of a mixed answer. If it's suitable for the average gamer, those not wanting the quickest and most responsive keys and those not looking to hear the clatter of a great mechanical keyboard. So, as should be clear from two paragraphs ago, this is a membrane keyboard. With this comes a quiet keyboard, but one that may not be the quickest and most responsive. Now, SteelSeries hasn't slouched here. First, using the keyboard lives up to the whisper-quiet moniker given to it. How is this managed? Through a rubber dome which cushions the key. Will these keys last for the 20 million keypresses? I can't honestly say, not until I get a super-fast drinking bird toy. On the topic of super-fast, the Apex 3 isn't that. Once you've got used to mechanical keyboards, it's hard to make that transition back, even if only temporarily. So, I had a little issue in that the keys felt a little mushy and a little slow in bouncing back, the former almost certainly a result of the rubber domes to keep the keyboard quiet. This doesn't really matter unless you're spamming a single key and even with the slightly slower return, it's negligible. You won't suddenly find yourself unable to survive on Super Meat Boy, missing your jumps on Mirror's Edge or failing to mash your punches and kicks on Street Fighter. If anything, it's those who use the keyboard for a lot of typing that will notice the difference. Most of all, they'll notice the feel of the keys going in. It's not a deal-breaker in any sense of the word for such a low-priced keyboard with the features it has - more on those - but it's still something that you'll notice. While the SteelSeries Apex 3 isn't the fastest keyboard around, it is durable. I can't attest to the proclaimed 20 million key stroke durability, but they feel sturdy. Indeed, the whole keyboard feels sturdy even though it's very light. Adding to this has an IP32 water resistance rating. I've tested this in the same way I've tested the water-resistance of a few keyboards in the past, I've accidentally knocked over a glass of water onto it. This hasn't impacted its functionality but even with keyboards without a touted water resistance, I can't remember having issues after spilling something on them. Corsair K95 RGB Platinum XT Review – Exceptional Quality, at a Cost In keeping with durability, I want to mention the cable. It's a little issue, but the more I use non-braided cables, the more I dislike them. They're too easy to kink, to tangle and, simply, to damage. Would braided cables increase the cost that much? I don't know, but I still wish SteelSeries would move to braided cables. One thing that is good in regard to the cable is the groove on the keyboard, helping a lot with cable management and positioning. Much like the Apex 5, this is far from the smallest of keyboards. Not only is it a full-sized keyboard, it's also quite tall. Even with the sturdy legs, the angle for your wrist would be punishing. Introducing the wrist rest. This is identical to the one found within the Apex 5 and still not one I'm enthralled with. I find it quite uncomfortable, though it does enough to reduce the angle of your wrists, alleviating the problems that would cause. It's also a genuinely nice and unusual thing to have in such a low-priced keyboard. I would normally wonder why a keyboard had keys that are so high, but I already know why with the Apex 3. Why is this? Well, it's the RGB lighting of course. The keys being reasonably set off from the base allows for full showing of the 10-zone RGB illumination, fully customisable using the SteelSeries Engine software. Now, there is an issue with such a space beneath the keys, and that's simply that it's more space for dust and dirt to get under. I could write about the software and how it links with the keyboard, but you honestly should read my review of the Apex 5 since I won't be saying anything different. Simply put, it's very customisable, offers a number of features and effects that link in with particular games and apps, making it look and feel a bit more premium than the price implies. Other little features the SteelSeries Apex 3 comes with is a dedicated multimedia button, as well as an audio wheel. The multimedia button play, pause, skip forwards or skip backwards, all with specific presses of that singular button. The roller isn't as versatile, letting you somehow control the cooling of a nearby nuclear reactor, but it does the job of controlling your volume or muting. For many of the same reasons I praised the Apex 5, I find myself praising the Apex 3. Certain things, like the RGB, are more limited and you are trading in aspects like the keys and actuation for the lower price, but that is the key aspect - the lower price. There's little doubt that for the budget-oriented gamer, this is going to be great to pick up. Hell, it's not even a bad keyboard to have as a backup to your clicky mechanical keyboard, particularly for night-time usage. Sample provided by SteelSeries for review purposes.

That’s thanks to a talented group of players including Megan Rapinoe. The 35-year-old Californian has been active as a member of the US squad since 2006, racking up 52 goals in 168 appearances. Rapinoe also has an Olympic Gold Medal from 2012, followed by winning the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2015 and 2019. Thanks to 2019’s epic run, Rapinoe earned the Golden Boot and Golden Ball awards. She’d later be named FIFA Player of the Year joining men’s winner Lionel Messi. EA Sports has awarded Megan Rapinoe the highest rating of all women’s players in the game with a 93, which is the same rating that Lionel Messi has, leading all men’s players. Checking in at No. 2 and No. 3 are Samanthan Kerr of Australia and Wendie Renard of France, who each have a 92 overall rating. In fact, it’s not until No. 10 that another USWNT player pops up in Tobin Heath, with Alex Morgan landing at No. 11. Both are 90 OVR players in the FIFA 21 player ratings, as are the players at the. 7th, 8th, and 9th spots. The United States’ Julie Ertz takes the No. 15 spot with an 88 overall rating, giving the USWNT four players in the top 15. That makes plenty of sense based on their World Cup win in 2019 which all four ladies helped contribute to, among others. Women’s players on national teams in EA game As FIFA fans know, the video game tends to feature a wide variety of teams and leagues. The women’s side of things has been similar over the years, though. There is the exception of the FIFA VOLTA mode which allowed for use of women’s players in the fun style of football at street parks. Gamers have also been able to create female players in the mode. Most likely, the women shown for today’s FIFA 21 player ratings will appear as parts of their respective national teams again. However, a number of women’s players currently star on other teams based within the United States or England. For example, Megan Rapinoe is on the OL Reign, based out of Tacoma, Washington, which is one of the teams in the National Women’s Soccer League. Julie Ertz is also part of the NWSL, playing for the Chicago Red Stars since 2014. Samantha Kerr plays for the Chelsea women’s team as part of the Premier League in England. The USWNT’s Tobin Heath is part of the Manchester United team, while Alex Morgan is on the club associated with the EPL’s Tottenham Hotspur. It would be quite a surprise to see all of the NSWL and Women’s Premier League clubs pop up in the game. However, it’s always possible EA could be moving towards that in the future. Next July, the USWNT and other national teams will be part of the rescheduled 2020 Summer Olympics. So fans should be able to test out some the top women’s national teams ahead of that in FIFA 21. EA Sports’ FIFA 21 arrives on October 9 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PCs. The Google Stadia and next-gen versions of the game (PS5/Xbox Series X) arrive later in the year, following the console releases. Visit our FIFA 21 news page to stay updated on the game.

  15. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 launched today and almost immediately as the sales embargo lifted, every online retailer including NVIDIA themselves crashed. In the meantime, those who had access couldn't find a single card in stock at the few retail stores that managed to stay online. NVIDIA has come forward and not only acknowledged the unprecedented demand that the witnessed with the release of its Ampere flagship but also apologized for all the stock issues that consumers had to face today. NVIDIA Officially Responds To GeForce RTX 3080 Launch Day Stock Issues - Retailers Getting Resupplied Each Day After Launch The issues got worse later in the day when customers noted that eBay was filled with several RTX 3080 cards listed by scalpers who were demanding anywhere from $1000 to the north of $2000 US for the cards. However, while scalpers may try to sabotage a consumer-oriented launch to make a profit, some people have resorted to retaliate by either manually placing 'fake' bids on the cards of several thousand dollars or writing bots that do that so that no consumers have to pay such insane and exorbitant prices for the new graphics card (via Overclock3d & Videocardz). NVIDIA’s Arm Deal Unlikely To Gain Chinese Approval In Short Term – Expert NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 eBay Scalpers Listings Get Rekt By PC Gamers NVIDIA in its official response has stated that they witnessed unprecedented demand for the RTX 3080 series graphics cards and that's evident by the fact that most of the online retail outlets did crash immediately but even after they came back online, the stock just wasn't there which would indicate a low stock for the cards themselves. The following is NVIDIA's official response to today's launch and everything that happened during the past 6 hours. “This morning we saw unprecedented demand for the GeForce RTX 3080 at global retailers, including the NVIDIA online store. At 6 a.m. pacific we attempted to push the NVIDIA store live. Despite preparation, the NVIDIA store was inundated with traffic and encountered an error. We were able to resolve the issues and sales began registering normally. To stop bots and scalpers on the NVIDIA store, we’re doing everything humanly possible, including manually reviewing orders, to get these cards in the hands of legitimate customers. Over 50 major global retailers had inventory at 6 a.m. pacific. Our NVIDIA team and partners are shipping more RTX 3080 cards every day to retailers. We apologize to our customers for this morning’s experience.” via Legit Reviews NVIDIA has promised that they along with their partners will be shipping more GeForce RTX 3080 series graphics cards to retailers every day so that those who were planning to purchase a card but couldn't do so due to the half-baked launch day don't miss out the action. NVIDIA also claims that over 50 major global retailers did have inventory at 6 a.m. Pacific Time but they don't say just how big of a quantity there was, to begin with. The few of those who were lucky to get the cards without any issues were the ones who did show up in actual retail stores and not the online marketplaces. Scenes from Japan's Akihabara Market & MicroCenter in the USA showed long lines of people queuing up to get their hands on the new card and they actually did manage to get them. But with COVID-19 still not cleared away in many regions of the world, not everyone can go out and shop for a graphics card under these circumstances even if their local retail outlets do have one. NVIDIA SLI Support Moves Towards Native Game Integration What we can say for sure that this is definitely one of the most interesting & broken launch events ever witnessed for a flagship graphics card which indeed had huge demand but the launch has left some customers feeling a bit down afterward. But at least those who were planning to buy an RTX 3080 graphics card now can look at some of the first custom AIB card reviews and make a better & planned decision of their new purchases. With AMD also coming out with their new RX 6000 series cards in the coming month and the more mainstream GeForce RTX 30 series cards hitting the retail segment, more users can make a well-informed decision before making their new purchases. NVIDIA's next launches include the GeForce RTX 3090 and GeForce RTX 3070. It will be interesting to see how the company, its AIB, and retail partners handle them as they definitely have a lot to learn from today's mistakes.

  17. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs were amongst stars on the rise in EA’s Week 1 Madden 21 ratings update. Both players had strong performances in the opening week of NFL action to become deserving of the boosts. However, several other players, including the New York Giants’ Saquon Barkley, are in an early slump to start the season. Madden 21 ratings update: Week 1 boosts Rodgers, Jacobs, and Murray Football fans are ecstatic to have the sport they love back on the field and with Week 1 games, it provided the first body of work for the EA Madden 21 ratings adjustors. One performance they witnessed was Aaron Rodgers going 32-for-44 with 364 yards and four touchdowns thrown in a 43-34 win over the Vikings. It led to a one-point ratings boost for the former NFL MVP and Super Bowl winner. Rodgers is now a 90 overall in the game. Ahead of him, QB Russell Wilson of the Seahawks also got the one-point boost. That puts Wilson just a point away from 99 Club membership. The Las Vegas Raiders debuted in Week 1 with a 34-30 win over the Carolina Panthers. The Raiders seem to have a stud in their sophomore running back Josh Jacobs too. He had 46 receiving yards, 93 rushing yards, and three touchdowns in a strong outing. That translated to a nice two-point boost to get to 90 OVR in the Madden 21 ratings. Another back who did well in Week 1 was the Seahawks’ Chris Carson who tallied 45 receiving yards and two touchdowns in his team’s win. Carson becomes an 87 OVR in Madden 21. Meanwhile, the Arizona Cardinals surprised many fans with their opening week upset of the San Francisco 49ers. Last year’s No. 1 draft pick Kyler Murray showed his versatility. Murray had 13 rushing yards for 91 carries and a touchdown along with 230 yards passing and a touchdown by air in the 24-20 win. He’s now a 78 overall with two-point boosts to Acceleration and Awareness. Barkley, Mayfield disappoint in opening week games While a handful of players excelled in Week 1, there were also those who didn’t seem at their best. That included the Cleveland Browns’ Baker Mayfield. The former No. 1 pick had a lot of trouble in his team’s matchup with Madden cover star Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. Mayfield 21-for-39 with 189 yards passing and one TD. He was also sacked twice for a loss of 21 yards and picked off in the 38-6 rout by the Ravens. That dropped Mayfield to a 77 OVR for the Madden 21 ratings. Saquon Barkley struggled in the New York Giants’ Monday Night Football matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 2018 Offensive Rookie of the Year was held to six yards rushing on his 15 carries. He did manage to get 60 yards receiving but couldn’t add any touchdowns to NY’s score. Barkley drops to a 90 overall due to the subpar outing. The good news is there’s still time for Baker and Barkley to turn things around with plenty more games set for the NFL schedule. Gamers should see their ratings, along with other players, adjusted in the Madden 21 game based on Week 1 performances. Check out the full Madden ratings database to see other players who moved up or slid after Week 1.

  19. How to use the PS4 controller on PC DS4Windows lets you configure your DualShock 4 on PC 1. Download DS4Windows While using the PS4 DualShock 4 controller on your PC is pretty simple, it's not quite plug-and-play, as you'll need to install an additional piece of software to get it working on your PC. The software is called DS4Windows, and it makes connecting the PS4 controller to your PC incredibly simple. It basically fools your PC into thinking the connected DualShock 4 is an Xbox 360 controller, which is supported in Windows. To get it from the DS4Windows website just download the latest build from the GitHub page. DS4Windows running in Windows 10 2. Install DS4Windows Locate the downloaded Zip file, right-click on it and select 'Extract All…' A window will appear asking you where you want to extract the files to. You can either choose to extract them to the folder to which you downloaded the zip file, or choose another folder. Once the files have been extracted the destination folder will open, and you'll see two files. One, DS4Updater.exe, is a program that will keep the DS4Windows program updated with the latest drivers, so it's worth running this file if you encounter problems later. Double-click the second file, DS4Windows.exe, to begin the setup procedure that will get the PS4 Dualshock Controller working on your PC. DS4Windows installs the relevant drivers 3. Set up DS4Windows When you launch DS4Windows for the first time you'll be asked where you want your settings and profiles to be saved – we'd recommend using the default selection of 'Appdata'. A new window will open. Click 'Install the DS4 Driver' to enable you to use the PS4 DualShock controller in Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10. If you have Windows 7 or older then you'll need to click on 'Install 360 Driver' as well. Micro USB cable 4. Connect the PS4 controller to your PC via USB Now you'll be able to connect your PS4 DualShock 4 controller to your PC. You can do this in two ways – either via a USB cable or via Bluetooth. To connect the PS4 DualShock controller to your PC via a USB cable you just need a regular micro USB cable – the same one that comes with many modern smartphones. Once you've plugged the cable into both the DualShock controller and your PC, Windows should detect it, and you'll be ready to play PC games using the PS4 controller. Turn on Bluetooth using Windows 5. Connect the PS4 controller to your PC via Bluetooth One of the best things about using the PS4 DualShock 4 controller on your PC is that you can use it wirelessly, giving you far more flexibility when gaming. The PS4 DualShock 4 controller uses Bluetooth, so you'll need to make sure your PC or laptop has a Bluetooth receiver built in. If it doesn't, you can buy a Bluetooth USB dongle such as the Tiny USB 2.0 Bluetooth Mini Wireless Adapter; not only is this small enough to be plugged unobtrusively into your PC, it's also pretty cheap at just £2.99 (around US$4.55, AU$6.40). Press this button to turn on the controller To connect the PS4 controller via Bluetooth, press and hold the central PS Button and the Share button for three seconds until the lightbar at the top of the controller begins to flash. Next open up the Bluetooth settings on your PC. In Windows 10, click on the speech bubble icon in the Taskbar at the bottom-right corner of your screen. This opens up the Action Center – from there click 'Bluetooth' and then select 'Wireless Controller'. You may be asked to enter a pair code – if so type in 0000. The PS4 DualShock controller will now be connected wirelessly to your PC.

  22. Sending work emails at the wrong time of the day can not only be embarrassing but it can also lead to problems which is why many email services allow you to schedule an email to be sent later. Google's Gmail has already had this feature for some time now and Microsoft's Outlook desktop client also allows you to do this. However, the software giant's Outlook on the Web (Outlook.com) never received this feature despite the fact that its desktop counterpart did. Thankfully though, Microsoft has now added the ability to schedule emails in Outlook on the Web. We've put together a list of the best email clients on the market These are the best cloud storage services available We've also highlighted the best online collaboration software Scheduling emails on Outlook.com In order to schedule an email to be sent at a later date or time on Outlook.com, you'll first need to login to the service and compose a message. By clicking the downward facing arrow next to the blue send button, you can now schedule an email by clicking on “Send later”. A calendar will then be displayed that will allow you to pick a specific date and time for your email to be sent. Choose the date and time you wish to send your email on and then click the “Send” button to proceed. Your scheduled email will remain in Outlook.com's “Drafts” folder until it is ready to be sent. However, you can still edit or cancel a scheduled email right from the Drafts folder. To do so, you'll need to head to the Drafts folder and find your scheduled email. When you open the email, you'll see an option that reads “Cancel Send” with an edit button that looks like a pencil along with the email's scheduled send date and time. By clicking on the “Cancel Send” button, you can then edit the email, send it immediately or discard it.
