Bungie has confirmed it: You don't need to gear up for a new Destiny game. Instead, the developer is going to continue to support Destiny 2 into the foreseeable future, meaning that most of the things you've acquired, from premium cosmetics to hard-to-earn weaponry, will stay with you in Destiny for years to come. But although we won't be seeing Destiny reset with a new game the way it did with Destiny 2, it is about to get a substantial shakeup. The next big expansion for Destiny 2 is Beyond Light, and it's going to create some major changes when it arrives. Beyond Light will majorly alter Destiny 2 as we know it. It marks the return of some big pieces of Destiny 1 content, including the Vault of Glass raid--but several locations and pieces of content that have been part of Destiny 2 since its release are being removed. Beyond Light will also change the onboarding experience for new players and is bringing the game to the next generation of game consoles. We've run down all the details that are available about Beyond Light so far so you can see exactly what's ahead for the next chapter of Destiny 2. Release Date, Platforms, And Preorder Details Beyond Light is coming to Destiny 2 on November 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Steam, and Google Stadia. Destiny 2 is also now on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One, with Beyond Light coming to Microsoft's subscription service on day one--so if you're a Game Pass subscriber, you can skip buying the expansion altogether, so long as you want to play on an Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S (more on next-generation versions below). There are several different versions of Beyond Light you can get by preordering the expansion. The standard edition will run you $40 and just includes the game (the Destiny 2 base game, which is now known as New Light, is free-to-play, it's worth noting).

New benchmarks of AMD's flagship Ryzen 9 5950X 16 Core Zen 3 CPU have leaked out in the Geekbnench 5 database. The benchmarks show far better performance than the ones which leaked out earlier, giving even Intel's top HEDT chip a run for its money. AMD Ryzen 9 5950X Is An Insanely Fast 5 GHz Zen 3 CPU, 16 Cores Crush Intel's Top 18 Core HEDT Processor The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X is undoubtedly going to be a beast of an enthusiast chip for the AM4 platform. From what AMD showed, its the fastest chip under $1000 US and also aims to be its fastest gaming CPU to date. The latest benchmarks for the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X have now been leaked in Geekbench 5 which were spotted by TUM_APISAK and show vastly better performance than the leaked benchmarks we got to see earlier. AMD Radeon RX 6000 Graphics Cards Specs Leaked – Radeon RX 6900 XT With Navi 21 XTX, Radeon RX 6800 Series With Navi 21 XT/XL, Radeon RX 6700 Series With Navi 22 Once again, the CPU was spotted running at an average clock speed of 5.04 GHz. The maximum clock speed reported in Geekbench 5 was 5040 MHz and it's almost running at 5.0 GHz which is going to be the sweet spot for the flagship at factory configured specs. The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X was featured on a test bench with the ROG Crosshair VIII Formula motherboard which is one of ASUS's top AM4 offerings based on the X570 chipset. The test setup features 32 GB of DDR4 ram but the clock speeds were not reported. AMD has highlighted that DDR4-4000 is going to be the sweet spot for Ryzen 5000 CPUs. AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16 Core CPU Leaked Geekbench 5 benchmark comparison As for the benchmark, the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X scored 1657 points in the single-core and 15,860 points in the multi-core CPU tests. This is a huge improvement over the scores we saw yesterday. Comparing these numbers to the flagship Intel Core i9-10980XE 18 Core CPU, we see a 43% jump for single-core and a 7.5% jump for multi-core tests. Compared to its predecessor, the AMD Ryzen 9 3950X, the Ryzen 9 5950X is 28% faster in single-core and 12.5% faster in multi-core tests. Versus the Intel Core i9-10900K, the Ryzen 9 5950X is 17% faster in single-core and an insane 42% faster in multi-core tests. What makes this comparison so interesting is that compared to the Intel Core i9-10980XE, the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X is going to be $200 Us cheaper. Even against the Intel Core i9-10900K, the 5950X has insane value since it only costs a bit more and is expected to be available in better quantities while the 10900K is still short at various retail outlets. The 10900K does feature a lower MSRP of $500 US but since it's out of stock, the limited quantities that are available are inflated by retailers and reach over $700-$800 US. We also have to take into account the fact that the Ryzen 9 5950X will feature a better architecture, a better process node, possibly lower temperatures, and power consumption figures thanks to the updated Zen 3 core architecture. AMD Preps For Radeon RX 6000 GPU & Ryzen 5000 CPU Launch, Issues Guidelines To Retailers To Avoid Any Customer-Related Issues AMD Ryzen 9 5950X "Zen 3" Desktop CPU - 16 Cores / 32 Threads Up To 4.9 GHz For $799 US Starting off with the top of the line parts, AMD is announcing the Ryzen 9 series which is made up of the Ryzen 9 5950X. TL;DR: Mozilla on Tuesday published version 82.0 of the Firefox web browser which introduces a number of enhancements and is said to be faster than ever. It also addresses a handful of security vulnerabilities, the majority of which are classified as “high” risk. According to Mozilla, websites that use flexbox-based layouts now load 20 percent faster with the new Firefox. What’s more, restoring a previous browsing session is 17 percent quicker than before, letting you pick up where you left off without too much disruption. And for Windows users specifically, opening a new window is now 10 percent faster. Watching videos with Firefox 82 is now “more delightful” thanks to an improved Picture-in-Picture button that is easier to locate due to a new look and position. There’s also a new keyboard shortcut for Mac users to enable PiP (Option + Command + Shift + Right bracket). In Windows, Firefox can now take advantage of DirectComposition for hardware decoded video to improve CPU and GPU usage during playback. On laptops, this can lead to improved battery life, we’re told. Mozilla’s Firefox was once a major player in the browser wars but that was many moons ago. According to NetMarketShare, Firefox’s desktop market share currently sits at 7.60 percent. StatCounter has Firefox down to just 4.09 percent worldwide. Both firms have Chrome outpacing the competition by a wide margin, at 69.19 percent and 66.34 percent, respectively. If you’re interested in taking Firefox 82 out for a spin, you can grab a copy from our downloads section.

Game information Platforms:PC Developers:Bossa Studios Publishers:Bossa Studios Features:Online Co-Op Multiplayer Release Date:August 28, 2020 There's a fine line when playing a deliberately awkward game. On one hand, unreliable physics and purposefully clunky controls can yield hilarious results, as the struggle to perform basic actions is delightfully silly. Much like other absurdist "simulation" games such as Goat Simulator and the original Surgeon Simulator, Surgeon Simulator 2's best moments come from facing a ridiculous scenario while being woefully ill-equipped to deal with it. However, the laughs eventually die down, replaced by exasperated sighs as surgeries become more complex and picking up a scalpel doesn't get any less cumbersome. Played from a first-person perspective, Surgeon Simulator 2 is far closer to a wobbly puzzle game than a proper simulation--albeit one with tongue firmly planted in cheek. In addition to performing surgery, you'll be navigating hospital labyrinths, solving conditional logic puzzles to access medical supplies, and generally trying to prevent the surgical dummy affectionately known as Bob from dying. Surgeon Simulator 2 features a story mode, playable solo or cooperatively with up to four players, where you're learning on the job using allegedly state-of-the-art simulation technology instead of bothering with stuffy medical school. This takes place over a series of levels, beginning with a tutorial, after which you'll be attempting your first heart transplant--a completely natural progression for medical practitioners, surely. Surgeon Simulator 2's story is communicated through voiceover while you encounter increasingly outlandish situations. What begins as solely performing surgery quickly escalates to uncovering mysteries and conspiracies facing the shady medical facility in which you find yourself. It's all highly ridiculous, but in a way that complements the equally bizarre gameplay. Each level challenges you to not only fix what ails the patient but also to solve various problems en route to providing treatment. This includes passing through inexplicably locked doors that won't open unless a button is pushed or a specific item is placed on a nearby scanner. Usually, an essential item lies behind these locked doors, such as a fresh set of intestines required for a transplant. However, the unlock condition is often placing the patient's old organs on the scanner, resulting in a frantic dash between rooms to replace organs before poor Bob bleeds out. Regardless of how badly you botch an operation, the only fail state is running out of blood. It doesn't matter if you conveniently forget to replace a lung as long as the diagnosed ailment is resolved. You also don't need to bother putting Bob's insides back in anything resembling anatomically correct order--just slap them in and Bob's your uncle (or rather, creepy surgical test dummy). Conversely, heads and limbs must be attached correctly. Surgeon Simulator 2 doesn't provide an explanation for this discrepancy, but making a mess of someone's insides is often incredibly funny. While each level increases in scope and complexity, the controls offer the most consistent challenge. Beyond the standard act of moving in first-person, Surgeon Simulator 2's controls are wildly unconventional. Most notable is the sole arm dangling in your field of vision, which is used to interact with anything you can grab, be it a switch, a tool, or a vital organ. If you're using a keyboard and mouse on PC, holding shift locks your feet in place, allowing you to extend and retract your arm using the mouse. Similarly, clicking in the right-mouse button enables hand rotation, necessary for getting the correct grip angle on objects. Combined with the left-mouse button used for grabbing and releasing, Surgeon Simulator 2 intentionally makes actions taken for granted in typical first-person games incredibly clumsy. Even picking up and using a swipe access card is an awkward flailing mess, let alone successfully completing a double amputation. At first, this baby giraffe level of coordination is hilarious; gleefully tossing vital organs across the room delights for a while. However, as Surgeon Simulator 2’s levels and puzzles ramp up in extravagance, imprecise controls begin to grate. Even when wielding a scalpel, there’s no aiming cursor or highlighted outlines to indicate what you’re about to cut free. Accidentally ripping out the wrong appendage while Bob’s vitals plummet only amuses so many times before frustration sets in. A recurring example of Surgeon Simulator 2’s double-edged clumsiness is prominent whenever limbs are involved. Sure, you can literally grab and yank Bob’s leg off, but taking the time to use a saw results in far less blood loss. Saws and axes cause dotted lines to appear where you can chop away at the unfortunate patient, but it's far too easy to miss these guides and cause more damage than intended. While mimicking the physical act of sawing with your mouse is morbidly amusing, Surgeon Simulator 2's deliberately clumsy control system undermines its skill-based elements. This surgical anarchy would prove to be more amusing--especially in story mode--if the penalty for losing too much blood wasn't restarting the level from scratch. Some later levels are hefty and mazelike in structure, requiring a decent amount of exploration and puzzle-solving. This makes it all the more annoying when you're forced back to the beginning due to the unreliable controls causing a medical mishap of epic proportions. Fortunately, Surgeon Simulator 2 isn't all exasperation. To help prevent disasters, there are two types of syringes: one for stopping bleeding and another for replenishing Bob's blood stores. If you prepare ahead of time by having some injections on hand, everything will usually turn out okay. Most malpractice will only occur when chasing the story mode's extra challenges, such as finishing a level within a strict time limit or keeping blood loss below a set amount. Where Surgeon Simulator 2's obtuse nature works more consistently in its favour is in the community-created content. You can even make your own levels with a comprehensive creation mode, giving you access to all the tools seen in the story mode to enact your own brand of chaos. Oddly, the creation mode tutorial redirects you to a YouTube playlist instead of an interactive guide, which feels a little disjointed. Regardless, playing community-made levels is refreshing, largely due to how the objectives differ from simply healing Bob. You can access community levels by joining a random quickplay queue or searching for specific content to play by yourself or with others. Naturally, the quality of these levels varies, but there are plenty of clever twists on the core surgical gameplay. Some of my favorites included various escape-the-room settings, one of which was an Indiana Jones-themed level replete with giant boulders and Bob in a sarcophagus. Surgeon Simulator 2 likely began its own medical school in protest of being kicked out of the real thing. In creating its own brand of hospital hospitality, there are plenty of laughs to be had. However, hearty chuckles from chucking a heart across a grimy hospital room only last for so long before Surgeon Simulator 2's clumsiness begins to frustrate more than entertain. Zoom on Wednesday unveiled OnZoom, a platform for posting and finding quarantine-friendly virtual events ranging from concerts to cooking and fitness classes. The video chat platform also revealed "Zapps," or Zoom apps -- that live within Zoom and let you access them directly from video chats, for easier workplace collaboration. Finally, Zoom said it would begin rolling out end-to-end encryption for free and paid users next week. Here's everything you need to know about the two new Zoom features. For more, check out how to become a Zoom pro, and how to change your background in Zoom. Read more: Ultimate webcam tips: How to look and sound great online Quarantine-friendly virtual events OnZoom is a marketplace where people can host, search for and attend events. Hosts can securely monetize their events by selling tickets or asking for donations through PayPal. Hosts can also control security settings to try and prevent Zoombombing, when uninvited guests disrupt meetings. Each event will be capped at 1,000 participants (depending on your Zoom membership), but there is a livestream option to reach more people. Hosts can also share your event through email and social media. For attendees, OnZoom is somewhat similar to Facebook Events -- you can search through public events like concerts, fitness classes and other lessons. Securely purchase tickets through PayPal or credit card, gift tickets to others and favorite, share and rate events. OnZoom is currently available in the US as a public beta. It will expand worldwide in 2021. You can join events with a free Zoom account, but must have a Built-in apps for work Zapps aim to make it easier for people to work together within Zoom. Currently in beta, there will be 35 zapps available at launch by the end of the year, including Dropbox, Slack, Asana, Box, Miro, Woven, Smartsheet and Salesforce. You'll be able to open the app directly within a Zoom call, and it will appear in a panel to the right of your video. Or, you can pull it out into its own window. Using the Dropbox zapp, for example, you can co-create an agenda, share files, take notes and capture follow up tasks, all without leaving Zoom. Once live, you'll be able to click on the Zapps button at the bottom of your Zoom screen to open the Zapps store, either within your meeting or through your main Zoom page. Zapps will be available worldwide by the end of the year, on both free and paid Zoom accounts. There will be additional features for enterprise Zoom accounts in terms of IT management apps and compliance. Zoom saw massive growth at the start of coronavirus lockdowns back in March, as much of the world turned to connecting over video chat for work, socializing and entertainment. The service hit 300 million daily meeting participants by April, outpacing other giants in the space including Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. Though it experienced a number of security issues, it has since made several changes, including full encryption for all users. It'll also soon be available on your Amazon Echo Show devices, Google Nest smart displays and the Facebook Portal, if it isn't already.

Specifications of the AMD Navi 21 XT "Big Navi" GPU for the Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card have been reported by Patrick Schur who has been very credible regarding his information. According to the reported specs, the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT seems to be a beast of a graphics card with insane clocks. AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT With Navi 21 XT "Big Navi" GPU To Feature Insane 2.4 GHz Game Clock, 16 GB GDDR6 VRAM & 255W TGP Patrick states in his tweet that the AMD Navi 21 XT GPU which is allegedly the "Big Navi" GPU that all enthusiast gamers have been waiting for will be an insane chip. As per previous reports, the 21 XT GPU will be featured on the Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card but there are also reports that a faster XTX variant exists which would be even faster. ClockTuner For AMD Ryzen “Zen 2” Desktop CPUs Gets V1.1 Update – Enhanced Engine With New Features, Fixes & More The Navi 21 XT GPU will reportedly be a powerhouse of a chip with a game clock of around 2.4 GHz which are the highest clock speeds we will get to see on a consumer desktop-grade graphics card. This also suggests that we can expect even higher boost frequencies considering the game & boost clocks are separate, as the game clock is the average clock frequency that the GPU can maintain in games while the boost clock is the peak frequency that the GPU can hit. The GPU is also said to feature a TGP (Total Graphics Power) of 255W. This doesn't mean the whole board power but rather the GPU itself. The GeForce RTX 3080 for comparison has a TDP of 320W & the GeForce RTX 3070 has a TDP of 220W. AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, Ryzen 9 5900X, Ryzen 7 5800X “Zen 3” CPUs Benchmarked, Much Faster Than Their Ryzen 3000 Predecessors The graphics card based on the Navi 21 XT GPU, which is reportedly the Radeon RX 6900 XT, is said to feature 16 GB of GDDR6 memory which is also what we've seen in various previous leaks. As for comparative measurements, the performance looks to be really close to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card which is very impressive for AMD to hit, and if they can price the Big Navi graphics card right at around $499-$599 US, then they will have a killer 4K solution in their hands. Rogame already pointed out at least four SKUs for the Navi 21 (RDNA 2) GPU but we did not know anything else aside from the PCI IDs. There's active speculation going on right now regarding exact specifications and configurations of each SKU in terms of core counts, texture mapping units, and ROPs since we now know that the GPU consists of 5120 stream processors packed within 80 CUs. As per Rogame, the Navi 21 GPU currently has the following SKUs: Navi 21 XTX (0x731F:D0) Navi 21 XT (0x731F:D1) Navi 21 XL (0x731F:D3) Navi 21 XLE (0x731F:DF) AMD's RTG Flagship GPUs Comparison: Graphics Card AMD Radeon R9 Fury X AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 AMD Radeon VII AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT GPU Codename Fiji XT Vega 10 XT Vega 20 XT Navi 10 XT Navi 21 XT? The card features a triple axial-tech fan setup on the shroud and has a large aluminum heatsink that runs beneath it. The card has a LED-lit Radeon logo on the side and there is a large cut out on the side for the fans to vent out hot air. This design is very reminiscent of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 series Founders Edition cooler. The card will feature dual 8-pin power and display ports would include a USB Type-C (VirtualLink), 1 HDMI, and 2 DisplayPort connectors. The card also features a fancy backplate along with a retention bracket to hold the cooler in place. The Radeon RX "Big Navi" GPU looks like it will come in the standard 2-slot reference design which is the same as NVIDIA's flagship RTX 3080 but not as huge as the triple-slot GeForce RTX 3090. AMD will officially be unveiling its Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card family on October 28th. The second half of 2020 would definitely be interesting times for all the hardware enthusiasts and mainstream PC gamers who are looking forward to upgrading their PCs with the best hardware.

Marvel's Avengers has been successful, at least in terms of initial sales, for publisher Square Enix thus far. However, the game has seen its player-counts falling and criticism for bugs and lack of endgame content--and we don't mean the movie. Because developer Crystal Dynamics is working to address the game's issues, the next-gen versions for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PS5 have been delayed to 2021. Crystal Dynamics said it wants to deliver a "next-gen experience showcasing all that this game is meant to be" in a blog post announcing the decision. You will still be able to play the PS4 or Xbox One versions on the new systems and can experience better frame rates and faster loading times, and your progress will also carry over. Once the next-gen-specific versions are released, it will be a free upgrade. Not every publisher is being so generous with free next-gen upgrades. Take-Two is requiring all but the most expensive versions of NBA 2K21 be purchased again in order to receive the upgrade. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War includes access to both generations' games in a $70 bundle. Several changes requested by fans are being worked into future updates, as well. These include a ping system, the ability to replay the Reassemble campaign, a high-contrast mode, hero icon visibility adjustments, mission reward clarity, and better enemy attack indicators. PC stability is also being worked on, with GPUs apparently being the source of many crashes thus far. GameSpot's Phil Hornshaw gave the game a 7/10 in our Marvel's Avengers review. While he enjoyed the depth of combat and characters' different styles, he didn't like how live-service elements were implemented and encountered plenty of bugs.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is out November 12 for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, making it a launch title for Sony's newest console. Sony recently showed the first true gameplay footage of it during its recent PS5 event, and you can preorder it now. If you missed out on the first game, or just want a remastered version of it on your next-gen console this November, then you'll be happy to know that it's included with the Ultimate edition. As the name suggests, the upcoming Spider-Man game follows the wall-crawling exploits of Miles Morales as he takes on the Tinkerer and their army of cyber-looking cronies. The gameplay demo we saw today showed some bad guys crashing Miles' mother's election rally, forcing him to suit up as Spidey and take them on. We also saw gameplay of Miles fighting off the baddies on a bridge and, soon after, saving a number of citizens from the falling debris. The $50 standard edition comes with the base Spider-Man: Miles Morales game. Now Playing: Has PlayStation Done Enough? | Generation Next As for its Ultimate edition, it costs $70 and is exclusive to the PS5. This is because it includes a PS5 remaster of the original Marvel's Spider-Man. Developer Insomniac says that players can expect to see "improved skin, eyes, hair, and facial animation" as well as ray-traced reflections, ambient shadows, and improved lighting--more pedestrians and vehicles are also said to be present in the remaster. And if you prefer performance over visuals, Spider-Man: Remastered has the same 60 FPS mode as the Miles Morales game. Insomniac also teased three new Spider-Man suits for the original game as well as new photo mode features and trophies. Spider-Man: Miles Morales preorder bonuses If you preorder Spider-Man: Miles Morales, you'll get a few bonuses: T.R.A.C.K. Suit: An alternate costume that has an unlockable "Untrackable Suit Mod." Second suit: TBA Gravity Well gadget: Unlock this gadget early. The Gravity Well lets you pull enemies together to disarm them. Extra Skill Points: Get 3 skill points right out of the gate. Spider-Man: Miles Morales standard edition $50 The standard edition of Spider-Man: Miles Morales comes with the base game. It's available for both PS4 and PS5, and the PS4 version is eligible for a free next-gen upgrade if you decide to pick up the PS5 at a future date.
