  3. The US Postal Service has a letter-tracking app that could become your best friend if you're still looking for your stimulus check. Called Informed Delivery, the free service from the post office automatically scans your mail as it's processed and can notify you when the envelope containing your check is on its way. It's an alternative to the IRS' Get My Payment app to track the delivery of your paper check. Informed Delivery lets you keep tabs on the letter's progress through notifications on your phone or computer and even sends you a picture of the letter from the IRS, so you know what to look out for and when it's coming. There are a few things to keep in mind. Informed Delivery will show you all your documents scanned by the post office, not just your stimulus payment. It won't be able to tell you why you don't have a stimulus payment yet, or what to do if your stimulus check never shows up. You can cancel at any time. Read on to learn how to use the USPS tool to see your stimulus check in the mail and brush up on the latest about the second stimulus check that's been proposed. How to see your own personal mailbag It can take three business days to activate your account after you set it up. Once it's live, you will receive an email each morning Monday through Saturday if mail is scheduled to arrive, notifying you of mail that will be delivered, along with a grayscale image of the front of the letter. You can also use the free Android and iPhone Informed Delivery app to be notified. Am I definitely getting my stimulus check in the mail? At this point, you're more likely to receive your money in the mail than in your bank account. That's because the IRS deadline to provide your direct deposit information passed on May 13. The federal revenue agency said its focus is now on sending payments in the mail through the post office -- either as a paper check or as a prepaid debit card called the economic impact payment, or EIP, card. Read on to track your payment envelope in the mail. Informed Delivery: Quickly check that you're eligible When the USPS runs mail through its automated mail sorting equipment, it creates a digital image of the front of all letter-size mail, and that includes your stimulus check. The Informed Delivery program uses this digitally captured information to notify you when each piece of mail is on the way. The service is available to many residential and personal P.O. box addresses but not businesses. It also won't work for some multiunit buildings where the Postal Service hasn't yet identified each unit. Here's how to check whether it's available in your area: 1. Head to the Postal Service's Informed Delivery page and tap the Sign Up for Free button. 2. Enter your mailing address, and tap Continue. If the service is available, you can continue to set up an account. Set up the Informed Delivery service Setting up your account is straightforward. 1. On the Postal Service's Informed Delivery page, tap Sign Up for Free. 2. After you enter your mailing address and confirm it'll work with the service, you'll need to accept the terms and conditions and tap Continue. 3. On the next page, choose your username, password and security questions. Then, enter your contact information and tap Continue. 4. On the next page, you'll need to verify your identity. Tap Verify identity online if you want to receive a verification code on your phone or tap Request invitation code by mail if you want the Postal Service to mail a code to you. If neither method works for you, may also be given the option to visit a post office to verify your identity in person.
  4. If you're an Nvidia GeForce Now Founder's subscriber, it's likely you're nonplussed over the continued losses to the cloud gaming service's roster. Many notable videogames and publishers have dropped from the service since it launched on February 4, 2020—apparently those holding all the cards are "still figuring out their cloud strategies"—and if that isn't a bad omen of things to come, I don't know what is. Why? Because Nvidia's service offers something akin to the PC gaming experience. It is (theoretically) open to all, it allows you to access the games you already own, and it is more or less a back to basics promise of a half-decent gaming PC in the cloud—it even offers RTX graphics for cheap. Without it, or those other services like it, the future of cloud gaming looks a lot more… exclusive. Nvidia was unlucky in its game streaming rollout. Just as the ball started rolling on its initially successful cloud gaming ambitions, and fresh out of beta, a couple of major publishers (Activision Blizzard, Bethesda Softworks, 2K Games) swiftly dropped out from the service, and even made quite a palaver out of it. It appears as though that sentiment only gained momentum from there. Further games have been pulled from the service since, and while many more have embraced it with open arms, there are some huge games notably missing from its cloud-compatible library. Nvidia's since adopted a less pro-active opt-in approach for developers and publishers on GeForce Now as a result. So what is it that makes Nvidia's service so frowned upon by publishers? I'd have to guess that it's merely the sheer size, scale, and monetary worth of the potential 'platform'. No one batted an eyelid for the many cloud streaming services that came before, despite being much like Nvidia GeForce Now—those that allow a user to hook in their existing libraries and play the games they own across a range of digital storefronts on hardware they couldn't otherwise afford or access. So you'd expect that it wouldn't matter whether you play your game on hardware you own—a trusty gaming PC—or one that's rented to you and served up out of a server rack. You bought the game, right? That's yours and you get to say how you play it. Well, not so fast. Gaming licenses have never been straightforward. Do you own a game or a license to the game? Well, the answer is actually relatively simple: you own a license that allows you to use someone's software, as they intended. What that End User License Agreement (EULA) means for you, and what you're allowed to do and not allowed to do with it (such as modding), varies between platform and developer. Therein lies the thorn in Nvidia's side, and the sti[CENSORED]tion that gives ultimate control to the publisher. And it's only a microcosm of a wider issue—if cloud gaming inherently relies on publishers and developers to specifically allow access to the videogames we own a license to, then it's going to run into burgeoning costs, exclusivity, and a lack of interest from gamers with access to an already fairly simple solution that (mostly) bypasses these issues: a physical gaming PC. A large part of that comes down to what constitutes a platform—how we define the term. You could argue that GeForce Now added layers of abstraction to the PC gaming experience, but you could also quite as easily argue that PC is the platform and Nvidia's merely extending its reach. I tend to side with the latter, because once you get towards naming what to call a slice of a server that is, by all metrics, a gaming PC in the cloud anything besides a 'gaming PC', things start to get really messy. Especially as it even runs the exact same software. What is a gaming PC if not a sum of its parts all coming together to run a generally agreed upon set of software? Is my gaming PC really a gaming PC, or is it a miniature server? I can play games from my home computer streamed outside of my home network, so what constitutes a cloud server anyways? It's all being fed through some sort of cable or wireless connection. And we're all connected, like physically connected. Mankind's own subterranean root network. It's all just ones and zeros, man. Oh no, I'm feeling woozy.... Nvidia's GeForce Now was a test bed for an open cloud game streaming model, and it evidently thought it might work seeing as it never explicitly asked for permission for every game supported on GeForce Now to begin with. Sadly, its experiment has so-far fallen flat after some publishers disagreed with its approach. Maybe that was down to its slight ambiguity when it came to what degree it was optimising games for the platform. Nevertheless, with that the future of cloud gaming is looking more and more bleak with every game that's falling from the service's roster. It's worth mentioning that some developers, such as Epic Games, wholeheartedly support Nvidia GeForce Now, but sadly a few bad apples spoil the bunch. We're looking at a high possibility that publishers will want a cut of the streaming cash before allowing their games to exist on PC platforms in the cloud, despite having nothing to do with the hardware. And if that's to be signed off on by cloud hardware providers, those providers will want something in return. Now we're in for a world of exclusivity and business shenanigans—another impasse. If the library isn't there, or fractured across many gluttonous cloud services all vying for their piece of the videogame pie, PC gamers will probably tell them all to get stuffed, anyways. Publishers have, and always will have, complete control over who gets to play their games, and who's to say that shouldn't fall into the hands of the game's creators and owners. But with a PC-a-like platform already shot down, it's looking far less likely that cloud gaming will ever be able to offer PC gamers anything close to what we have already: a (relatively) open ecosystem that's really only limited by the technical capability of your hardware, not where said hardware physically exists.

  6. Peru is the country with the highest excess of deaths recorded during the new coronavirus (COVID-19), according to a recent report with data from nations in Europe and Latin America from the newspaper El País. Among the other territories most affected by this analysis are also Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom. During the health crisis and the measurement made by the media between the beginning of March and the end of May, our country has accumulated almost 13,000 more deaths than normal (excess of 54%), of which only about 3,000 were related at that time officially with COVID-19. This reported excess clearly exceeds in percentage that of Spain (45%) and other countries of the old continent that have been severely hit by the coronavirus. In addition, it is indicated that our country is still "spreading". With respect to Spain, it is the nation with the second highest excess of deaths registered in the midst of the pandemic. This country registered 47,000 more deaths than normal, assuming an excess of 45%. The result obtained by Spain makes it the country with the highest number in Europe, only ahead of the United Kingdom (40%), Belgium (37%) and Italy (36%). According to El País, excess deaths is an effective measure to have references of the impact of the disease in the countries, since it is a “simple calculation”. In this case, the actual number of citizens killed in a given period is compared with the deaths expected in a normal year (without a pandemic). These numbers not all countries issue it every month, but the Spanish media was able to carry out the analysis with nations in Europe and Latin America. Among the results, it is noted that the “worst excesses” have exceeded 35%, compared to Iceland or Germany, which only showed 4%. The excess of deaths observed in a large number of countries is higher than the report of deaths confirmed by COVID-19. One of the factors is because it takes time to record the causes of death or because many of these people have not been tested. “El País” also indicates that these figures do not detail the cause of death, but they do add up to the total number of deaths recorded in the countries. However, it indicates that not everything can be attributed to COVID-19 but also to the rebounds that occur in times of flu or heat waves. The true figures will be known when the causes of registered deaths are analyzed in detail. In this way, the experts will have a clear overview of the deaths in relation to COVID-19. Most of Europe The worst hit territories are in Europe. For example, Italy has a 36% excess since the end of February. An excess has been reported in the UK since January with over 60,000 deaths (40%). On the other hand, other countries that register more deaths than usual are Belgium with 37% and the Netherlands with 30%. “El País” maintains that in Latin America it has mortality data in countries such as Ecuador, Chile, some areas of Brazil and Peru. But they clarify that they have not managed to obtain registration in countries such as Mexico or Colombia. Among the results it is evident that Brazil is also a country severely hit by the coronavirus. In its analysis for 14 of the 27 states, it was determined that there was an excess of 28%. In Ecuador, with data only in the Guayas region, it was determined that excess mortality reached 17%. While in Chile the excess is 12%, which seems little but is due to the fact that the disease is still expanding. Finally, the advantage of analyzing excess deaths to compare it with the impact of the pandemic is that it is not restricted by the capacity of tests or by clinical criteria, which does occur in official reports of deaths from coronavirus. To date, Peru registers 5,162 deaths from coronavirus.
  7. Game Informations : Developer: Jeff Gerstmann Platforms: Computer Initial release date: April 28, 2000 at 9:13PM PDT ClayFighter was originally a Super Nintendo game. At the time, it was a welcome change from all the other fighters out there. It made use of Street Fighter-like gameplay, but replaced all the characters with clay figures such as Bad Mr. Frosty (a snowman with an attitude), Icky Bod Clay (a ghostly pumpkin-head), and the Blob (a mass of clay that formed into various shapes like a block or a buzz saw when necessary). ClayFighter 2 continued the tradition, stretching the already-hair-thin premise to the breaking point. ClayFighter 63 1/3 picks up where the series left off and goes right back to boring players to tears with its derivative gameplay, pathetic graphics, and annoying sound effects. The gameplay in ClayFighter isn't simply stolen from Street Fighter anymore. Now the game has the moves and super moves of Street Fighter, the already-ill-conceived combo system and dual life bar from Killer Instinct, and finishing moves a la Kombat. The characters can sidestep, but it doesn't prove to be a very useful technique, aside from dodging the occasional projectile. Unoriginality aside, the game is also pretty uninteresting to play. The CPU AI is sketchy at best - most of the time it simply can't fight, but from time to time it unloads a 13-hit combo on you without any warning. Then it simply goes back to fighting like a dolt. Graphically, ClayFighter falls somewhere between average and horrible. The backgrounds are polygonal, and look fairly nice, although there is a lot of pop-up and fogging at longer camera distances. The characters look pasted on top of the world. They may have several more frames of animation when compared to the old SNES games, but they still look very choppy. The game's sound is atrocious. The only thing it has going for it is the fact that it uses lots of speech. Unfortunately, it uses so much speech (and what they're saying is so stupid), that it becomes instantly annoying. The music is also quite bad. You really have to wonder what a company is thinking when it puts out a game like this. It simply can't compete with a real fighting game in any category. Even if the graphics and music were great, the game would still play terribly. If you're so starved for N64 games you're considering picking this game up, do yourself a favor and at least rent it first. You'll probably have a good laugh, but not in the way the developers originally intended. System requirements: PC compatible Operating systems: Windows 10/Windows 8/Windows 7/2000/Vista/WinXP
  8. Anyone can post a video on YouTube, but the channels you follow that have a million-plus subscribers take serious work and commitment to build and sustain. Being a YouTuber can be a full-time job, and it's a competitive field. Your brand and content have to stand out in a vast sea of work by other people who want the same thing you do. If you've got an idea for a channel and are serious about trying to hack it as a YouTuber, knowledge is power. There's no formula for internet fame (side-eyes all those moth memes), so there's no guarantee that you'll win a YouTube Creator Award or walk a red carpet in the near future (should coronavirus lockdowns get lifted, of course). It's important to keep your expectations reined in and to set attainable goals. But online education classes can help you build a solid foundation in branding, camera use, video editing programs, social media marketing and staying motivated. Australian content creator and brand identity designer Jeremy Mura offers a course on starting a YouTube channel from scratch on Skillshare. In YouTube for Beginners, Mura guides you through the logistics of how to set up a YouTube channel, researching trends for content, analytics and monetization, and tips for growing (and keeping) your audience. In the discussion section of the class, Mura also provides personal constructive feedback for his students as they build their channels. Mura's course has 34 lessons, all of them 10 minutes or less. He also has helpful videos on his own YouTube channel, though they aren't as laser-focused on content creation as the ones offered on Skillshare. What it costs: Some online classes on Skillshare are free when you create an account, but most require a premium membership, which costs $99 annually or $19 a month. You can sign up for 14 free days of unlimited classes. The premium membership is also ad-free and lets you download classes to your mobile device and watch offline. There are a lot of people trying to make it on the internet. Something has to make you stand out from the crowd. What can your channel offer that's unique? Music composer Mikael Baggström teaches a course on Skillshare called YouTube: Use Branding to Grow Your Channel. The course has 16 lessons about the importance of branding, video style, catchphrases and logos to make your channel feel fresh and different -- and hopefully get more followers. What it costs: Some online classes on Skillshare are free when you create an account, but most require a premium membership, which costs $99 annually or $19 a month. You can sign up for 14 free days of unlimited classes. The premium membership is also ad-free and lets you download classes to your mobile device and watch offline. Subscribers and clicks are the lifeblood of internet content. While getting a social media shout-out from your favorite podcaster or YouTuber might help turn the tides, understanding marketing basics can give you more control over attracting and keeping viewers. Brand strategist Sunny Lenarduzzi's Build a Fan Base on YouTube class on CreativeLive has 13 video lessons with information like choosing topics, writing scripts, understanding YouTube's algorithm and optimizing your content for search engines. If you're not quite ready to commit to classes, you can check out more of Lenarduzzi's videos for free on her YouTube channel. What it costs: CreativeLive lets you purchase a Creator Pass for $39 a month or $149 annually. This gives you access to features like the site's entire library of over 1,500 classes and ways to track your goals with learning paths. You can also set up an account and purchase classes individually. For example, Lenarduzzi's course costs $29 while CreativeLive runs a spring sale. Otherwise, it costs $49.
  9. We know the new Intel Core i9 10900K can get mighty toasty under heavy load, and can also chow down a whole heap of power when you're pushing it too, but one thing I hadn't counted on is the apparently huge variance that exists between chips. Caseking chip-binner, overclocker, and general CPU-prodder, De8auer, has posted a video showing the performance delta between 30 different versions of the top Comet Lake processor and the results are fascinating. The silicon lottery is certainly alive and uncompromising, even just within the 10-core range of 10th Gen CPUs. You might get super-lucky and find yourself with an i9 10900K chip that's both cooler and runs less thirsty than others right out of the box. That's going to give you a good shot at getting some decent results from overclocking. Conversely you could end up with the dud that is either already running at 92°C under stock settings, or a super-leaky processor that's drawing 20W more than average. Either of which is likely to end your overclocking fun real quick. Or any hopes of building some mighty small form factor gaming rig. And you're not going to know which you've picked right up until you get it home, plug it in, and try tweaking those various performance knobs. Or unless you spend well over the odds and buy a pre-binned version of the chip from someone, such as Caseking as it happens. Binning is the process of testing batches of CPUs (or any other high-performance silicon) to find out how different versions, of what are supposed to be the same chips, actually perform. Vendors will then sell a pre-selected version of a CPU, for example, that it knows can outperform others, for a hefty premium. De8auer took 30 different 10900K processors, from exactly the same manufacturing batch, and tested them all with the exact same system, same settings, and same ambient room temperature too. He found that with the chips all running at 5.1GHz and at 1.25V six of them recorded a peak temperature below 80°C, 12 came in above the average temp of 82°C, while one extreme outlier hit 92°C. He also tested the peak package power draw too, and measured the lowest at 232W while the highest hit 278W. In both instances that's a lot of variance—13°C difference in peak temperatures, and 46W difference in terms of peak power. On average, over the 30 different chips, the temps and power draw aren't too bad, but if you get a bad draw in the silicon lottery that little K at the end of your CPU code isn't going to mean a whole lot. It may nominally support overclocking, but if you're hitting 92°C at stock settings you're going to struggle to get a lot more out of it. And remember, this is from the same batch of chips, presumably manufactured at the same time. So it's possible, as De8auer notes, that Core i9 CPUs from different batches could have even more variance. One other point worth noting from De8auer's investigation is that the coolest 10900K wasn't also the one with the lowest power draw, and the one with the highest leakage, or the one with the highest power draw, wasn't the hottest chip either. For our part we seem to have lucked out. Our Core i9 10900K is maybe a little higher than average in terms of temperature, but seems to run a little less thirsty. Maybe that's why we comfortably hit 5.3GHz on all cores without melting down. Dave has been obsessed with gaming since the days of Zaxxon on the Colecovision, and code books for the Commodore Vic 20 (Death Race 2000!). He built his first gaming PC at the tender age of 16, and finally finished bug-fixing the Cyrix-based system around a year later. When he dropped it out of the window. Thankfully it's a lot easier to build a gaming rig now there are no motherboard jumper switches, though he has been breaking technology ever since… at least he gets paid for it now.
  10. The Minister of Health, Víctor Zamora, estimated that depending on the evolution of the coronavirus (COVID-19), an extension of the quarantine in our country will be required to face the pandemic, although this time in different modalities. In ATV, he said that the extension of the health emergency until September 7 will allow us to have all the "necessary instruments" to combat the disease and we will have to live with a measure of such magnitude "for a long time." “Eventually yes [a quarantine extension will be required], but in different modalities, it can be. Opinion has been advanced on different types of quarantine: generalized and focused. We need a health emergency so that we have all the necessary instruments to control the disease, ”he added. "In other countries, relaxing the control measures has meant major outbreaks, therefore I think we are going to live with a health emergency for a long time, longer even than quarantine," he added. It should be recalled that the Government extended the state of sanitary emergency for 90 more days to continue with the prevention and control measures of COVID-19. According to the norm, the extension is counted from June 10 and will last until September 7. On the other hand, Zamora, estimated that in approximately a month the molecular test completely prepared in Peru would be ready, with which our country would no longer depend on the foreign market to supply itself. "We are developing the molecular test in Peru, we seek to become technologically independent from other countries, such as Korea, which allows us to expand its use throughout the country. We are sure that in a month we will have the patented molecular test, "he said. Finally, the Health Minister specified that medicinal oxygen must be purchased and imported from other countries to meet the demand in Peru, because the national plants have reached their production limit. "It is thought that with a price control measure one can increase access to medicinal oxygen. Unfortunately this is not the case, national plants have reached their limit. We have to flood the product market, bring it from other places, "he emphasized.
  11. Game Informations : Developer: Jeff Gerstmann Platforms: Computer Initial release date: April 28, 2000 at 9:14PM PDT With every release of a new system, there is a series of firsts that help define the system - and ultimately who will be best served by it. The Nintendo 64 has already had its first original sports game, its first shooter, its first racing game, and its first arcade translation. Dark Rift is the system's first native fighting game. And if indeed this game helps to define the Nintendo 64, it chalks up another point in the "not bad, but I wouldn't actually pay money for this game" column. Dark Rift is the product of Kronos, the same company responsible for the abysmal PlayStation fighter Criticom. While Dark Rift isn't a sequel, the lackluster fighting contained on the cart might as well have been culled from a mythical realm called Criticom II. On the upside, Dark Rift isn't quite as bad as Criticom. But the two games are still a little too similar for Dark Rift to slide through the VGS offices unscathed. The graphics of Dark Rift represent the game's lone strength. The characters move very quickly, and for the most part, smoothly. Also, the N64's graphical prowess is exploited in this title, resulting in some nice lighting effects. The only dull point is the characters themselves: they're very blocky, presumably to keep the frame rate up. Playing Dark Rift can be compared to playing Konami's classic arcade game, Track & Field - the faster you pound the buttons, the better you'll do. The three attack buttons are part of the C button cluster, which makes it nice and easy to hit them all with only one finger. So easy, in fact, that I'm typing this part of the review with one hand - the other being on the three attack buttons and the block button - and I'm still winning. Fun. Aside from these buttons, there are two sidestep buttons (only helpful when trying to avoid projectiles), a throw button, and a special button. The latter doesn't do anything when pressed by itself, but when combined with fireball motions or double taps, it executes fireballs, super kicks, and a few other moves, depending on the character. With its questionable character design and repetitive gameplay, the only gameplay variation Dark Rift brings to the fighting game table is its default three-out-of-five matches (as opposed to the standard best two-out-of-three). The rest feels like a Virtua Fighter-inspired mishmash of monsters, demons, and guys with guns. The graphic effects are the only things that save Dark Rift from falling below average. As much as I hate to say this, I'd rather be playing War Gods. system requirements Oculus Rift Component Recommended Specs Processor Intel i5-4590 / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or greater Graphics Card NVIDIA GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 480 or greater Alternative Graphics Card NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD Radeon R9 290 or greater Memory 8GB+ RAM
  12. Whether you're someone who keeps approximately 864,896 browser tabs open at the same time or gets overwhelmed by more than a baker's dozen, Google is adding another handy feature to its set of Google Chrome tools that will help you keep tabs on all of your tabs. A new feature called tab groups will let you group open websites together with one click, and label them with a custom name and color. Once you've created a group, you'll be able to move and reorder the tabs within. This feature has existed for years in other browsers such as Vivaldi and Opera, and through browser extensions like OneTab. Tab groups will be especially helpful for when you're working on a bunch of different projects at once, tracking task progress, or looking through several shopping and review sites Customize your tab group however you like, using words or emoji for the group name. The best part might be that groups are saved when you close and reopen Chrome, saving you the step of digging through your browser history to find just the website you're looking for. Tab groups are available in Google Chrome Beta now, and will be released with the latest version of Chrome next week. The feature will be available for the Chrome browser on desktops that run on Chrome OS, Windows, Mac and Linux. Here's how to create group tabs once they're available in Chrome: 1. When you have a tab open, right click on it and click Add tab to new group. 2. Select the name and color of your tab group. 3. When you open new tabs, right click on them, and click Add to group, and select the group you'd like to add them to. The tabs in that group will be underlined with the color you chose. 4. After that, move them around within each group as you like. Chrome is the most po[CENSORED]r browser in the world, and the tabs feature has been in testing for several months, Google said in a recent blog post. For more Chrome tips, check out how to turn on Chrome's dark mode and toolbar playback controls, and learn about its "privacy sandbox" coming later this year.
  13. Motherboard manufacturer ECS has silently expanded its AMD portfolio. The B450AM4-M motherboard (via Hermitage Akihabara) that attempts to be one of the best motherboards to consider for consumers with very tight budgets. The B450AM4-M is a microATX motherboard that exploits AMD's budget B450 chipset. It has a modest power delivery subsystem that conforms to a 4+2-phase design and feeds the CPU with a single 4-pin power connector. The motherboard's full processor support list wasn't available at the time of writing, but the user manual states that the B450AM4-M supports 7th Generation A-series and Athlon APUs and processors up to the second-generation Ryzen 2000-series (Pinnacle Ridge) parts with a maximum TDP (thermal design power) of 95W. This effectively closes the door on the Ryzen 7 2700X, which is rated for 105W. ECS equips the B450AM4-M with four slots that support up to DDR4--2666 memory modules. The motherboard can hold a maximum of 64GB of memory, but that will vary from processor to processor. The B450AM4-M comes with different expansion slots that will surely satisfy the typical consumer. There's one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 2.0 x16 slot wired at x4, one PCIe 2.0 x1 slot and even one PCI slot. Thanks to the presence of the two PCIe x16 slots, the B450AM4-M can accommodate up to two AMD Radeon graphics cards in a CrossFire setup. For storage, the board offers a combination of four SATA III ports, which support RAID 0, 1 and 10 arrays, and one M.2 M-key slot that houses PCIe- and SATA-based drives up to 80mm in length. There's another M.2 slot, but it's a E-key format for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless cards only. ECS' B450AM4-M also features four display outputs: one HDMI 1.4a port, one DVI-D port, one D-Sub port and one DisplayPort 1.2 output. Logically, you'll need to pair the motherboard with a APU to get an image from it. The Realtek ALC662 audio codec delivers a 6-channel high definition audio experience. A Realtek ALC1304 amplifier integrated circuit accompanies the ALC662. Sadly, there's only one 3.5mm jack though that acts as a line-out, line-in and mic-in port. The single Gigabit Ethernet port is based on the Realtek RTL8111GN controller. Despite the segment in which the motherboard competes, the B450AM4-M isn't short of I/O connectors. The rear panel boasts a PS/2 combo port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and two USB 2.0 ports. In the event that you require more USB ports, the motherboard also sports one USB 3.2 Gen 1 header and two USB 2.0 headers. The list of headers also includes two serial port and one LPT headers as well as three 4-pin fan headers.
  14. With 178 thousand cases of coronavirus in which more than 4,000 new cases are incorporated every day, the trend of the irregular plateau that they mentioned from the Government is still not observed. In the last three days, it was determined that for every four people analyzed, one has COVID-19, with an average above that reported in the previous week when, for every five people analyzed, only one was detected with coronavirus. In the midst of this scenario, and with the extension of quarantine (compulsory social isolation) until June 30, the Government determined that the Health Emergency that ended on June 9 would extend for an additional 90 days, that is, until 8 September. What does it mean? That the health services, as well as the processes for acquiring goods and services, will have the facilities that the pandemic emergency requires. The decision was disclosed in Supreme Decree No. 020-2020, issued by the Ministry of Health (Minsa). In it it is detailed that the General Directorate of Health Operations indicates that the actions carried out to control the pandemic have contributed to reducing its transmission, however, it is the responsibility of the Ministry of Health to guarantee the continuity of care in order to decrease the high risk that affects people's health and life, being necessary the extension of the health emergency, for a period of ninety (90) calendar days. Procurement Extension In the same way, and as indicated above, the validity in the prioritization of purchases of goods and services that are required to be contracted during the extension of the health emergency is extended. Also, contracts and acquisitions that must be destined exclusively for the purposes established by said standards, under responsibility. The balances of the resources resulting from the contracting of goods and services can be used within the term of the extension of the declaration of emergency, to contract goods and services from the same list, as long as the required amounts have not been completed .
  15. Game Informations : Developer: James Mielke Platforms: Computer Initial release date: november 17, 1990 at 9:34PM PDT The basic formula of helicopter games has always been to blow up stuff, rescue hostages, and try not to get blown up in the process. It's worked since the days of Choplifter, and it still applies today. Chopper Attack follows this description to the letter, playing a bit like Soviet Strike with Blast Corps-style graphics. Seta developed Wild Choppers as an action/shooter that allows you to pilot one of eight attack choppers. Each chopper has its own strengths and weaknesses, so it is a good idea to try them all out to see which one suits your playing style. As you play, you earn money to buy various missiles and bombs to help eradicate enemy forces throughout the missions. The missions range from blowing up everything in the area to guarding a jumbo jet as it flies through enemy air space. Each area is filled with scores of hostile aircraft, terrorizing tanks, and artillery that try to blow you out of the sky. Some levels are huge wide-open spaces that let you roam freely from one target to the next, while other areas have you deep within a narrow canyon, and you are forced to go through scores of enemy divisions. On some missions there are giant bosses such as giant planes, helicopters, and hovercrafts. The controls in Chopper Attack are a little touchy at first, but once you get the hang of it, they're actually quite nice. To move and aim the helicopter, use the analog stick. The buttons are used to fire weapons and to strafe. Any music that annoys you is a bad thing. The music was rocking at first, but after a week I was much happier with the sound off. The explosions and all of the other sound effects are great, and when using the rumble pack they really give you the panicky sensation of being shot at. The only other problem with the game is that I felt kind of boxed in at times because I couldn't control my elevation. Your chopper is set at a constant elevation, unless you go up the side of a mountain, in which case your chopper just goes up the side of it. This would be a bigger issue if the game were a little more sim-based, but it is still a little disappointing. Chopper Attack is a fair N64 game. It's fast, fun, and pretty exciting. It is, however, a short game, so you may just want to rent the game and finish it rather than picking up your own copy. System Requirements OS: Windows XP or Newer. Processor: 1Ghz+ Memory: 1 GB RAM. Storage: 1 GB available space.

  18. Corsair has discovered a potential problem with its SF series of Platinum-certified SFX power supplies that can lead to premature failure when the unit is exposed to high temperatures and high humidity. The problem isn't just limited to units inside U.S. soil as foreign retailers, such as Tiyu, Ask Corporation and Links International, have issued a recall on imported SF units as well. Manufacturing, whether it be by machine or a human, isn't perfect by any means. Every once in a while, a bad batch will escape quality controls. Unfortunately, this is the case with the SF series. Corsair's investigation revealed that SF units with a lot code between 194448xx to 201148xx, manufactured between October 2019 and March 2020, can potentially fail. Customers who purchased their SF power supplies before October shouldn't be impacted. Apparently it's a technical issue that can manifest itself either when you turn the power supply on for the first time, or over a period of use. If you own one of Corsair's SF power supplies or just recently purchased one, you should give the packaging or sticker a quick look to make sure you didn't get one from the bad batch. Fortunately, the defect resides in the primary section of the power supply. Corsair has reassured its customers that the fault isn't in any way related to the DC section of the unit, meaning the power supply might fizzle, but it won't take your components with it. According to Corsair, not every SF unit manufactured within the time frame suffers from the failure. At any rate, the manufacturer has put together a voluntary product replacement program for affected owners. Corsair will replace the unit free of cost and even take care of the shipping fees.
  19. Good news for sports lovers. This Wednesday, on the 80th day of quarantine in Peru, people will be able to run to public spaces that are close to their homes and they will be able to do so at a respective time. Well, this was reported by the director of Health promotion of the MINSA, Alexandro Saco, in an interview with RPP Noticias: "This directive marks three stages, the first one that goes from the day after the publication of the ministerial resolution, is tomorrow, until the end of the mandatory confinement that the government has decreed, ”he said. It is worth mentioning that people will be able to leave from 6:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the afternoon and the time should not exceed 60 minutes. In addition, the distance is a maximum of 3 kilometers from your home and all people should have masks. It is worth mentioning the measure that has been published through a Ministerial Resolution does not apply to districts that present a large number of infections according to the MINSA epidemiological alert such as: SJL, Lima Cercado, SMP, Ate, El Agustino, Comas, VES, La Victoria , SJM, Santa Anita, Rímac, VMT, Puente Piedra, Los Olivos, Chorrillos, Independencia, Carabayllo, San Miguel, Breña and Surquillo.
  20. Game Informations : Developer: James Mielke Platforms: Computer Initial release date: December 28, 1995 at 9:34PM PDT The kids are back, and Snow Town's under siege by some bratty little punk named Damien. Arriving surprisingly fast after the debut of the original game, Snowboard Kids 2 brings back the same style of simple snowboarding action with a whole host of options to make your gaming experience as complete as can be. For anyone new to Atlus' funky little racing game, Snowboard Kids 2 offers a touch of Cool Boarders, with a dash of Wipeout thrown in for good measure. You pick one character out of a posse of ten-year-olds. The characters range from the "naughty" Slash Kamei, to the mega-genius Wendy Lane. The characters have different attributes, which give them distinct advantages, depending on which course you're playing: speed, shooting, or tricks. Adding to the flexibility of the game are the different boards, which cover speed, balance, and tricks. Gameplay consists of the usual zooming-down-the-course action, with a few twists to keep the action fresh. Among the variety of slopes and courses available (Sunny Mountain, Turtle Island, Jingle Town, Wendy's House, Linda's Castle, and Crazy Jungle) are numerous obstacles and varying course elements, like waterfalls and steep cliff drops. If those weren't enough, there are also offensive and defensive weapons available (hence, the Wipeout comparison). There are a bunch of great weapons that can quickly change the outcome of the game. The slap stick, for example, will smack your opponents to the ground and take some of their money while it's at it. The parachute attack will lift your targets high into the air and drop them slowly to the ground, giving you plenty of time to overtake them. Other weapons, like the snowman, whirlwind, freeze shot, and super ghost can also cause much consternation for your opponents. Of course, to counter players who may be drawing a bead on you are items like the speed fan, rocket booster, rock, and rat face. Each of these has different effects that can save your place in the race, if need be. While the steering and feel of the game could be a little smoother, once you get used to the semi-wooden controls, things go much easier. After you select story or action mode, you will eventually run into a couple of boss encounters that will test just how much you've learned in the preceding races. You will run into a snowman-robot stage and a dinosaur stage that will test just how good your snowboarding skills are. During each race, you'll head into Snow Town where you can do a little shopping and board customizing. As you earn more money, the quality of board you can buy will improve as well. You can also go into the paint shop and select a new paint job for your snowboard. Other places you can go include Wendy's Internet cafe, where you'll get secret information on courses and other factors in the game. You can also change your character at the school, save at the phone booth, and play a number of different games at the penguin house, clock tower, and Snowboard Times office. Simply put, there's plenty to do in Snowboard Kids 2, and it'll take you a while to unlock all the game's secrets. While it plays a little stiffly, the game still looks nice, with colorful graphics, very little polygon draw-in, and upbeat musical tracks. Peppered with lots of cute little cutscenes, Snowboard Kids 2 offers plenty of replay value and is one of the best racing games out there for a younger audience. Yes, a younger audience. Aimed squarely at the young 'uns, Snowboard Kids 2 is probably one of the best games you could get for a younger gamer. Older vets might find the game tedious, although it would take a real cynic to deny the effort involved in making this game. With the four-player mode offering decent multiplayer options, albeit at a much slower framerate, SK2 might be the best party-racing alternative to Mario Kart 64. Much less contrived than Diddy Kong Racing, Snowboard Kids 2 comes highly recommended for the younger crowd. Experienced gamers might want to rent it before spilling the greenbacks for this cute game. System requirements: PC compatible Operating systems: Windows 10/Windows 8/Windows 7/2000/Vista/WinXP
