  6. Blending the classic image of the rotting, ambulatory dead with adorably irreverent humor, Plants vs. Zombies is a textbook example of how to hook a wide swath of gamers with easy-to-learn, difficult-to-master gameplay. One part chess, one part "tower defense" and one part World of Warcraft,* *the latest creative stunner from PopCap Games is an addictive whole that's much more than the sum of its parts. Corpses are rising from their graves, and your army of militant plants is the only line of defense between the unholy mob and the delicious brains to be found inside your suburban home. Peashooters fire deadly legumes. Cherry bombs explode. You get the idea. Plants vs. Zombies, released Tuesday for PC and Mac, is the brainchild of George Fan, a game designer working out of his bedroom. In an industry driven by blockbuster franchises and derivative clones, its addictive gameplay and clever design offer a glimpse of an alternate side of the gaming industry, where creations are labors of love.* * It is a very funny game. You’d think that slaying hundreds of reanimated bodies would be somber or terrifying, but every level of the game offers something to laugh about, like hilarious commentary from the game’s eccentric cast: During one level, the zombies themselves send you a crudely scrawled note offering a "midnight znack" of "ice cream and brains." The gameplay is similar to most tower defense strategy games: It's all about properly placing your defensive arsenal in such a way as to optimally repel each wave of invaders. But Fan, formerly of Warcraft maker Blizzard Entertainment, gave his creation a personable twist. "Everyone built a fort as kids," Fan says. "I wanted to do a defense-oriented game, but I thought that towers were too static. They have no personality. So I came up with plants. You can give plants tons of personality, but you don't expect them to move.” The huge variety of both plants and zombies keeps things interesting. From the Thriller-era Michael Jackson lookalike zombie who summons a horde of dancing attackers to the almost annoyingly cheery sunflowers, both your enemies and your allies are as entertaining as their abilities are varied. Early levels see you defending a simple grid from a small horde that slowly trudges straight ahead using plants that fire single pellets, but each successive level adds a new twist. Eventually, you’ll be facing aquatic zombies riding undead dolphins and an entire undead bobsled team, utilizing weapons like a Gatling gun-esque pea plant, potato land mines and nuclear mushrooms. In all, the game includes 40 varieties of deadly plants versus 25 separate breeds of zombie. It's just the sort of hyper-addictive game that you'd expect from indie publisher PopCap, whose other smash hits include Peggle and Bejeweled. And it's so crazy that it could only have come from a small developer with a strong creative vision untainted by big corporate strategy. Small developer doesn't mean short game, however. Between the Adventure mode's 50 levels, the unending Survival mode, the 20 wildly varied mini-games, the relaxing Zen Garden and the game's Puzzle mode, you could be playing Plants vs. Zombies for a long time. You could also kill a few hours reading the hilarious Almanac entries for each of the zombies and plants. It's a challenging game, too. I’ve logged enough hours in strategy games to qualify as an officer in certain South American militaries, but the last few levels of Adventure mode and many of those Puzzle mode levels require intense concentration and genuine skill. Given how well Fan's vision for Plants vs. Zombies turned out, I hope that PopCap’s willingness to treat its designers as artists instead of simply franchise-creation tools catches on with some of the gaming industry’s bigger players.

Climate change Natural disasters, as sources indicate, are a great disaster or devastation caused by a dangerous natural event, and there are multiple definitions of disaster defined by international organizations and bodies, and requires the definition of clarity, comprehensiveness, conciseness and accuracy of the choice of words, the United Nations defined the disaster as: tragic situation affected by its Everyday life is suddenly unpo[CENSORED]r, people need protection, clothing, shelter, medical and social care and other necessities of life. The International Civil Protection Organization defines a disaster as an unexpected accident caused by forces. Nature, or because of human action, entails loss of life and destruction of property, has a severe impact on the national economy and social life, exceeds the capacity of national resources and requires international assistance. Many experts believe that the planet is exposed today to the risks due to worsening climate change, which in turn has exacerbated natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes and global warming, which threatens to change the features of the world, most scientific reports blame the human responsibility for climate change, which threatens the planet with successive “During the past 30 years, the impact of natural disasters on human beings has been five times that of a generation. The situation is getting worse. The climate is changing, threatening Pogo,” says UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Ban Egeland. Extreme weather events. In 2006 alone, 117 million people suffered from some 300 natural disaster including severe drought in China, Africa and flash floods in Asia and some regions of Africa, which led to a loss of about $ 15 billion. Flood victims In this regard, analyzes have shown that the number of people affected by river flooding globally will triple in the next 15 years. According to the World Resources Institute, this increase in floods is due to climate change and po[CENSORED]tion growth. The institute says the study is the first general analysis of all global data on river flood risk today and in the future. The study shows that about 20 million people are at risk of being affected by the floods at present, and that the total cost of destruction could be around £ 65 billion. According to the new estimates, the number of people affected by the floods in 15 years could reach about 50 million people, at a cost of about £ 340 billion of the total global economy. This increase is due in large part to climate change and economic and social development. The World Bank says the data will help governments develop defense and flood prevention plans. According to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), about half of the natural disasters it dealt with last year were caused by the flood. Strong earthquakes in America Meanwhile, US government scientists said that the chance of an earthquake with an intensity of eight or greater during the next three decades reaches seven percent, far higher than previously thought. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said in a new study that the probability of 7 percent is based on newly developed scientific models, while previous estimates by scientists point to a 4.7 percent probability over 30 years. "We are fortunate that seismic activity in California has been relatively low over the last century," said Tom Jordan, director of the Southern California Seismological Center, who is involved in the study. "But we know that tectonic forces are constantly strengthening the severity of the San Andreas fault system, making major earthquakes unavoidable." ". Ned Field, lead supervisor of the Geological Survey report, said the new scientific modeling system takes into account the tremors that may occur on several other faults, rather than looking at each fault separately. The Geological Survey said an earthquake of magnitude 8 or greater could destroy large areas. The new study reduced the likelihood of a moderate earthquake similar to the magnitude 6.7 earthquake in Northridge that killed 57 people in 1994. The agency said a 6.7 magnitude earthquake was likely to occur once every 6.3 years, compared to an earlier estimate of once every 4.8 years. . It was the largest recorded earthquake to hit California in 1857, which affected a 300-kilometer front from the San Andreas Corps. The agency said the highest number of deaths was caused by the 1906 San Francisco earthquake that killed 3,000 people. A recent increase in activity around the hundreds of millions of years of seismic fault lines in the US state of Oklahoma could trigger a devastating earthquake in the state, which has seen several precautionary precautions in anticipation of increased seismic activity, a report said. The state, which has seen several hundred seismic events in the last five years, has a "high risk of seismic risk," said a study whose findings were approved and among which the researchers from the US Geological Survey said. "Most of the earthquakes in central Oklahoma indicate renewed activity in faults at shallow depths of the Earth's crust," the report said. The report did not say whether the recurrence of these faults was linked to hydraulic fracturing technology for oil and gas extraction, which involves pumping water, sand and chemicals into an extraction well. Daniel McNamara, a study co-author and a researcher with the US Geological Survey, said the faults below the Earth's crust, dating back 300 million years, were not previously active and were suspected of being linked to recent seismic activities. "Any of these fault zones could cause earthquakes of magnitude 3-4, which could become a major earthquake. There are also 12 different fault zones that can cause earthquakes greater than five to six degrees," he said. According to Reuters. In November 2011, Oklahoma witnessed a 5.6 magnitude earthquake that destroyed more than a dozen homes and businesses. Oklahoma's building rules for earthquakes are not as tight as states more prone to earthquakes, such as California. Many scientists suspect that the wastewater used in hydraulic fracturing is increasing the likelihood of seismic activity, while the energy companies using it deny any connection to the seismic activity. Hydraulic fracturing involves transporting millions of gallons of wastewater from the fracture site to wells, pumping them and injecting them thousands of feet deep into the earth through the porous layers of the earth's crust. Most earthquakes are caused by natural causes, but scientists associate some minor earthquakes with oil and gas extraction activities in the underground that would alter pressure distribution and disturb soil balance. In recent years, the United States has seen an increase in oil and gas exploration activities as part of US efforts to become self-reliant in the field of energy. Particularly controversial exploration and extraction activities are known as hydrothermal fractures. Declining confidence A year of disaster and mismanagement, including mysterious aircraft crashes, information penetration, foreign exchange mani[CENSORED]tion and the worst outbreak of Ebola, has undermined people's confidence in public bodies and business, according to a survey. The Edelman Confidence Index, published in Davos, showed a sharp drop in overall confidence, with confidence in governments, businesses, the media and non-governmental organizations falling below 50 percent in two-thirds of countries. Places of distrust among the po[CENSORED]tion now include the United States, Japan, Germany, France, Britain, Italy, Russia and Turkey. The picture is particularly stark for the 1,500 business leaders gathering for the World Economic Forum from January 21 to 24 in Davos. Confidence in business has not only declined overall but confidence in executives as trusted people has declined for the third consecutive year. The survey painted a swing image of technology that plays an increasingly central role in people's lives. The majority of respondents believe that technological innovations are occurring very quickly out of corporate greed rather than out of a desire to make the world a better place. But in a worrying sign for "old media," online search engines are now more trusted as a source of news and public information than traditional media. According to Reuters. Consumers in all major industrialized countries want greater business regulation but have little confidence that policymakers will develop and enforce appropriate laws. The survey polled 27,000 people in 27 countries and was conducted between October 13 and November 24. Losses multiply Economic losses from natural disasters have tripled in the past 10 years, with farmers bearing nearly a quarter of the burden in poor countries, according to a UN study. Droughts, floods, storms and other natural disasters have cost the agriculture sector in developing countries $ 70 billion in damage between 2003 and 2013, according to the study by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), announced at an international conference on disaster risk reduction in Sendai, Japan. . Asia was the region hardest hit with $ 28 billion in losses, followed by Africa with $ 26 billion, according to the study, which analyzed data from 78 disasters in 48 developing countries. The new study showed that agriculture accounted for 22 percent of the total loss, prompting FAO officials to call for increased subsidies to farmers to cope with the crisis. Only 4.5 percent of humanitarian aid provided after disasters between 2003 and 2013 targeted agriculture, the study said. The world's 2.5 billion people depend on agriculture for their livelihoods, with small farmers, herders and fishermen representing the most vulnerable communities. According to Reuters. Jose Graziano da Silva, director-general of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), said in a statement that in order to protect farmers, countries "must step up their preparedness to quickly respond to disasters as they happen." Many observers link the high rates and severity of losses caused by natural disasters with climate change. In order to reduce the burden on farmers of these crises, an early warning system, improved food production methods and better information gathering are needed to determine the extent of disasters to cope, the study said.
  10. A change in lifestyle and nutrition reduces blood pressure - according to new research published in the latest issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association. About 25% of adults in the United States suffer from hypertension (Hypertention), which is one of the factors leading to an increased risk of heart disease. In addition, the risk of heart disease is also high in people with blood pressure above normal, even if it does not reach the degree of being defined as "hypertension" (by definition as a condition). A change in lifestyle and nutrition is recommended for people with high blood pressure, although the effect of these two factors has not been discussed together. In this research, the effect of lifestyle changes on blood pressure among participants was examined. The first group behaved according to acceptable instructions for lifestyle changes in people with high blood pressure, such as weight reduction, to reduce salt intake and increase athletic activity. The second group acted according to these instructions in addition to a special dietary program to lower blood pressure. Under this program, foods rich in fat and calories are replaced with fruits, vegetables and low-fat food. The third group received comprehensive awareness of the various causes affecting blood pressure but did not act accordingly. In the three groups blood pressure decreased after six months. The effect was significant on people who suffered from hypertension (distinguishing it from higher than normal pressure). It was also observed that, after six months, blood pressure became normal in more than half of the participants who made changes in their lifestyle, more than those who received only comprehensive education. Although special instructions for healthy nutrition contributed to lowering blood pressure, differences in results were greater when each of the groups was compared with the group receiving only comprehensive instructions (the third group). The researchers conclude from these findings that the change in lifestyle reduces the likelihood of heart disease, other chronic diseases such as diabetes, osteoporosis as well as cancer.

  13. New car owners report fewer problems than in past years. But infotainment systems are proving troublesome. Genesis G70 on a beach With cars like the G70, Genesis topped JD Power's 2019 US Initial Quality Study.JAMES LIPMAN/GENESIS Ask the average car buyer who makes the most reliable vehicles, and they’ll likely start with Japanese automakers, followed by the Germans and the Americans, and ending with the Koreans. Going by the results of this year’s JD Power Initial Quality Survey, though, that’s all wrong. “It’s almost the complete reverse,” says Dave Sargent, who oversees Power's vehicle quality research. The change in fortunes rides largely on how automakers have handled two big technological trends: proliferating infotainment screens and advanced driver assistance features. Alex Davies covers autonomous vehicles and other transportation machines for WIRED. The ranking, based on the number of problems owners of new vehicles report in the first three months, puts Genesis, Hyundai’s luxury brand, in the number one spot, with 63 problems per 100 vehicles. Kia and Hyundai are right behind, making for an all-Korean top three. The next three slots go to the Americans—Ford, Lincoln, Chevrolet—with Lexus and Toyota after them. All these brands score better than the industry average of 93 problems per 100 vehicles. Below that bar, you’ll find the Europeans, including Mercedes-Benz, Audi, BMW, Volvo, and Volkswagen. In the bottom two spots are Land Rover and Jaguar. A spokesman for those two brands, both owned by India’s Tata Motors, said that the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto has reduced complaints around infotainment issues, and that it's working to improve those scores. A Mercedes-Benz representative notes that this JD Power survey "doesn’t reflect the total ownership experience," but that it's helpful for "fine tuning" its work. After this article was published, a Volkswagen spokesperson said "The ranking was heavily influenced by launch issues for the Jetta," which had five recalls in its first few months on sale. "We are working diligently to resolve those issues. When it comes to infotainment systems, we have a positive gap to the industry average.” The results don’t surprise Sargent. “This is not a one-year phenomenon,” he says. The Korean automakers have consistently improved their cars’ quality in recent years, especially around the infotainment systems that offer a combination of navigation, music, and voice calling features. The Korean manufacturers offer relatively simple systems that do the basics well, even if they skimp on next-generation ideas like gesture controls. That matches Consumer Reports’ most recent infotainment system ranking, which listed Genesis, Hyundai, and Kia among its favorites. It gave the top score to Tesla, which JD Power doesn’t include in its rankings, due to a lack of data. The “problems” that consumers report tend to fall into two buckets. Some are defects that affect individual cars, like a headlamp that goes out. Others are related to the design of a vehicle, like a hard-to-use voice recognition system for doing things like placing calls and set navigation destinations. Today’s cars have far fewer defects than their predecessors did a decade ago, Sargent says, and mass manufacturers match the luxury brands on that count. That exposes the luxury automakers to criticism, Sargent says, because they offer more features that may not work perfectly or be easy to understand. This year’s survey found a small increase in what Sargent calls “traditional problems” like bad paint jobs and brake and suspension noises. That may be because, as car sales have slowed, vehicles are spending more time in the elements before going home with a customer—an effect known as “lot rot.” Interior of Genesis G70 Genesis and other Korean automakers topped the ranking thanks to improved reliability both in the traditional sense and with regard to new technologies like infotainment systems. GENESIS While infotainment systems are responsible for more problems than any other category, they’re also where automakers made the biggest overall improvement since 2018. Industry-wide, the survey says, the systems are getting less glitchy and easier to use. The new bad boy looks to be driver assistance systems, which for JD Power includes things like basic cruise control, lane departure warnings, and “semiautonomous” systems like Cadillac Super Cruise. As these features become more prevalent, more consumers are having trouble understanding how they work, or criticizing when they do and don’t intervene. And yes, studies show that drivers in the US and Europe often overestimate what their “semiautonomous” cars can do—setting them up for disappointment. Overall, Sargent says, the encouraging thing is just how reliable new cars are these days. The 2019 industry average of 93 problems per 100 vehicles represents a 14 percent drop over the 2009 figure. Volvo, he notes, is in 28th place, out of 32. “I drive a Volvo,” he says. “I love it.” Updated, 6-20-19, 6:30pm ET: This article has been updated to include a response from Volkswagen. 15. We felt that it was necessary to write a book reintroducing programming techniques that should be used by application developers targeting the current and future generation supercomputers. While the techniques have been around for a long time, many of today’s developers are not aware of them. Let us explain. The supercomputer has been a shifting target for application programmers ever since its inception in the form of Seymour Cray’s CDC 6600 in the early 1970s, forcing developers to adapt to new approaches along with the ever-changing hardware and software systems. This necessity of developer adaptation is especially conspicuous in the field of high-performance computing (HPC), where developers typically optimize for the target node architecture to squeeze out every last ounce of available performance. This continued through the CDC7600 and the vector-rich systems: Cray 1, Cray XMP, YMP, and C90. Then, the “attack of the killer micros” in the 1990s threw everything into a tizzy. With increasing node counts, application developers had to consider PVM, and then MPI, in their quest to parallelize their applications across the multitude of nodes consisting of commodity off-the-shelf (COTS) chips without any vector instructions. As can be seen in Figure 1, the COTS chips got faster as their clock cycle time decreased between 1995 and 2010. Application developers no longer had to be concerned about the node architecture. Reduction in supercomputer clock-cycle time With the advent of AVX256, AVX512, SVE, and GPUs in the last five years, vectors have begun to come back. More recently, many-core systems like Intel’s Knight’s Landing (KNL) as well as attached accelerators such as Nvidia’s line of GPUs required a reexamination of the application to get better performance from the new, more-powerful nodes. Since the application could not always be vectorized and / or parallelized automatically by the compiler, the application developer had to do something. That something ranged from writing important kernels in specialized programming models like CUDA for the Nvidia GPUs, to using compiler directives to help the compiler translate the input user-level code into low-level vectorized code for the processors. Then there was the issue of using all those cores on the node / generating thousands of threads for the GPU. Because running MPI across all the cores on and off the nodes worked pretty well, the developers for the initial multicore systems didn’t really need to get into parallelizing with shared memory threads. However, threading on Nvidia accelerators was absolutely required. OpenACC and then OpenMP 4.5 were developed for a performance-portable solution for threading and vectorization for the GPU. Another revelation in new architectures is that memory hierarchies are becoming more complex, especially if an application has a large memory footprint. Knight’s Landing, as well as nodes with attached GPU accelerators, have two levels of memory which introduces new challenges that must be addressed by programmers. Figure 2 shows the differences between the memory hierarchies of KNL and the hosted GPU. If an application fits into the high-speed memory, then it will enjoy excellent memory performance. However, if the application requires more memory, the data set must be managed to flow between the two in an efficient and timely way. Memory hierarchy The last four to five years have been a culture shock to those developers who insisted on productivity over performance. They are now faced with the serious challenge of effectively utilizing these new powerful nodes. If they continue with all-MPI codes and do not perform the necessary conversion to multi-level parallel code (through vectorization and threading), their performance will be a function of just the number of cores on the node and the clock cycle. While the number of cores on the node is going up slowly, the clock rate of those cores is going down, resulting in poor returns on new hardware investments without software optimization. Our book Programming for Hybrid Multi / Manycore MPP Systems discusses the architecture of the new nodes and programming techniques application developers can employ to glean more performance. It will be extremely useful for those developers who are now faced with the significant challenge of getting increased performance from the vector capability of the node as well as improved scaling across the increased number of cores or threading for the GPU. The book also looks at the memory hierarchy of the KNL and discusses various approaches for managing the data. Finally, the book looks to the future, which is more of the same in many ways: more cores with wider vectors as well as more complex memory hierarchies.

  17. As expected, EA disclosed the details of its financial revenues which were of interest for the period from last year to the end of March, which we bid farewell to. The company noted that during this period with all the games provided by its developers, the transaction numbers reached Nearly $ 1.1 billion. Among them the net profit of up to 186 million euros, all of which are considerably low compared to what the company recorded during the last year and has been able to provide us so far during this period a number of games that are not annual and here to talk about all of UFC 3 were De and also A Way Out. She pointed out that her performance was very distinct through the markets anyway in addition to the strong launch of the game Apex Legends, which was able to register nearly fifty million users in just two months, which really made the company raise the ceiling expectations but what about the most important game which Was it much reliable in Anthem person? The company confirmed that the game did not succeed in reaching the goals as it was planning to reach sales in the range of five or six million copies sold, but in the end the company refused to share the final sales figure because it wants to keep all its investors and prefer to discuss it internally but All in all, it confirms that Anthem's version betrayed all of its expectations. In addition to the annual sports events such as FIFA, NBA Live, Madden and NHL, the date will be set this year with a significant amount of new releases, including the return of the Need For Speed series and Plants. Vs Zombies has also been a game of Sea of Solitude under EA Original. In addition to the game Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, which will be available on the date of November 15, where it confirms that it expects significant sales of this game in the range of at least five million copies, a project ambition that the game was actually as far as expected by the public
  18. Looking for new computer parts is really good fun. Well, at least it used to be until computer hardware became more expensive and prices stopped dropping. Luckily, there are several decent options if you’re looking for cheaper hardware, both brand new and second-hand. In no particular order, here are some of the best online stores for finding cheap (ish) computer parts when repairing your machine or looking to build a new one from scratch. Caution When Buying Cheap Computer Parts You can only expect so much regarding cheap computer components. If they’re too cheap, you have to ask yourself “Why?” Why can one store afford to sell it at a significantly cheaper price than their competitors? The answer is usually “It’s a scam.” There are other issues, too. The price of RAM has only increased in the past few years, making any “cheap” parts now look like the regular deals of yesteryear. Similarly, cheap CPUs don’t exist unless you buy second-hand, and even then, some CPUs are surprisingly expensive. Case in point: I thought about making a minor CPU upgrade for my main system. It has a decent i5 3570K that has never let me down, but I wanted to bump to the i7 3770K for the extra capacity. Intel 3xxx CPUs hit the market in 2012. And the price of a new i7 3770K? Exactly the same as six years ago; I should have just splashed a little bit extra back then. Adding to the problem is the cryptocurrency mining boom. The price of Ethereum and other GPU-mined cryptocurrencies might have dropped, but the demand for new GPUs for mining rigs remains steady. That said, GPU prices are at least lower than they were at the peak of the crypto-mining market. Second-hand parts, refurbished parts, and cut-price deals are the way to go if you need cheap hardware — either that or an unbranded Chinese import. 1. For Wholesale Computer Parts: AliExpress Best for: Cheap unbranded hardware, cheap wholesale components, computer part stores, RAM, HDDs, SSDs, PSUs. Avoid: CPUs, GPUs. Let’s start with the last thing mentioned above: Chinese imports. China is one of the largest global manufacturers of computer hardware. AliExpress is an enormous online marketplace where you can find all manner of hardware, branded or otherwise. Branded hardware still costs roughly the same as a U.S. or E.U.-based vendor, but hardware from manufacturers you’ve never heard of can cost significantly less. RAM, HDDs, and SSDs are worth investigating, depending on your budget and desire for a deal. However, off-brand GPUs don’t exist, and the same goes for CPUs. Now, does it cost less because the hardware isn’t as good? Or is it simply the weight of the brand that adds to the cost of other hardware? The answer is somewhere in the middle. AliExpress sellers are either companies or individuals, but it is different from Amazon in that it doesn’t directly sell any products itself. 2. For Refurbished Computer Parts: eBay Best for: Brand new hardware, refurbished hardware, second-hand parts, computer part stores. Avoid: Any deal that is too good to be true — because it probably is! Next up, eBay, an excellent site for tracking down cheaper computer hardware. The trick to finding a great eBay deal is patience and persistence. Set yourself a realistic price point for the hardware you want, stick to it, and wait it out. At some point, your product will appear at the price you want, within reason. (You’re not picking up a GTX 1080 Ti for $ 100 unless there’s something wrong with it or it’s a scam.) 3. For End-of-Season Clearance Sales: Newegg Best for: End-of-season clearance sales, big budget discount, wide-range of hardware, customer service. Avoid: Spending all of your money on end-of-season clearance sales, making forum posts before searching for similar questions. Newegg is a name synonymous with great computer hardware deals. You can find a range of new and refurbished computer parts, as well as the traditional Newegg deals. Deals vary day to day, so if you have some specific hardware in mind, it is worth checking back periodically. To help you out, you can add those components to your wish list, and Newegg will ping you an email if it goes on sale. Newegg has a few other good points, too. For instance, their forums are very active. Other users will direct you toward the right hardware for your PC build or otherwise. Also, hardware manufacturers are known to browse and actively respond to users with issues to ensure everything is running smoothly, while their YouTube channels make decent videos comparing various bits of hardware you might want to pick up.
