In 2021, the Paggio Group discontinued its manufacture of the Aprilia Shiver 900 motorcycles, but the fierce spirit of this naked will resurface in a new Chinese assembly of the Cyclone brand, belonging to the colossal Zongshen firm, which claims to produce a million pieces year. This is its latest model called Cyclone RA9, which was developed based on the technology of the Italian Aprilia Shiver 900 and Dorsoduro 900 engines, which are out of the production catalog. THE CYCLONE RA9 WILL ARRIVE IN EUROPE AS GILERA Just a couple of years ago, a prototype of the Cyclone RA9 from the salon was shown at the Chongquing Impernational Motor Expo, where the chassis and the engine were fully Aprilia, but with certain modifications to increase the displacement, as well as new covers. . The market expected the official launch of the product from the end of 2022, but the prototype is still under perfection, although images with some models circulating on the streets of the Asian country circulate on the internet. It is rumored that Zongshen will position this piece in the European market baptized as Gilera, thanks to an agreement with Grupo Paggio, owner of the Italian brand, with the aim of the name helping to promote the motorcycle. One of the doubts is whether this model can reach Europe, under the Euro5 regulations, in terms of pollution issues, which are believed to have caused the discontinuation of the Aprilia 900. NEWS ON THE 'CHINESE APRILIA' Unlike the Aprilia, the RA9 brought the cylinder from 896cc to 987cc. The engine offers a power of 112 CV at 9,500 rpm, with torque values of 98 Nm at 7,500 rpm. THE RA9 features a single-sided swingarm with a hideous cylinder. At the front it has a double disc brake from the manufacturer. This model combines a firm and martial body. A wide 240 rear wheel and sporty seating position give it a modern muscle bike look. Link: https://revistamoto.com/wp_rm/zongshen-el-gigante-chino-de-la-moto-resucitara-las-aprilia-900/

(Left to Right) Shadab Khan, Junaid Khan and Shaheen Shah Afridi. — ICC/Youtube/Twitter/@iShaheenAfridi Pakistani bowler Junaid Khan has said that national side speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi and all-rounder Shadab Khan should have participated in the ongoing T20 Blast in England. While speaking on his YouTube channel, Khan said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) should handle the national side's senior players more carefully since this is a World Cup year and they will need to be in top condition at the time. "In my opinion, it would have been best if the board didn't allow him [Shaheen] to play and advised him to work on his fitness and take some rest because the World Cup is near, and there are more series ahead, and we need him. He is not needed in the league; he is the backbone of the Pakistan team," Junaid said. Justifying his claim, he further added: "Shaheen Afridi is playing in all three formats for the PCB. He recently returned from an injury, and you must have seen that he has played only two matches so far, and has struggled in both games." Moreover, the Pakistani cricketer said: "Shadab already has some fitness issues, and he has also been allowed to play in the league. In my opinion, PCB should think about these things." However, Junaid believes that league cricket in England will be beneficial for youngsters like leg-spinner Usama Mir and pacer Zaman Khan. "Just like Usama Mir and Zaman Khan came to participate in the league, these are the youngsters who have come here to learn, just like I came here in the beginning and learned a lot, so the players who play T20 cricket or just played one or two matches, when you allow such players to participate in the leagues, they learn a lot of things, but when you allow players like Shaheen and Shadab, and God forbid if they injured themselves, then who will be responsible for that?" he concluded. Apart from the aforementioned players, experienced pacer Hasan Ali, stylish left-hand opening batter Shan Masood, left-arm spinner Zafar Gohar and top-order batter Haider Ali are also in action in the tournament. https://www.thenews.com.pk/latest/1075674-shaheen-afridi-shadab-khan-should-not-have-played-t20-blast-junaid-khan

The cat campaign had been going on for years. My sisters and I didn’t believe we had a hope of winning. Our parents weren’t keen on cats, or dogs, or Scallywag, the sharp-toothed hamster who lived in a cage in the dining room, making occasional bids for freedom and keeping us all in a state of high anxiety. But things would be different with a cat. We would shower it with love, and wrap a giant pink satin bow around its neck. We’d call it Duchess or Splendour or Fluffy, and treat it like a Girl’s World doll, albeit one made entirely out of hair. We talked about our imaginary cat all the time. This is probably why our parents relented. However, we suspected we were not going to get the cat of our dreams when Mum told us she had a surprise: “We’re going to meet a farm cat! He’s the runt of the litter, the other cats have been bullying him, and he needs a home. He’s called Humphrey.” Humphrey! He sounded dull. I could picture him clearing his throat, peering over his bifocals, asking the other cats to please keep it down. Still, he was a victim, and we would love him. All he needed was affection! It did not occur to us that Humphrey might scorn our love. That he would see six wide-eyed, beaming faces and bolt for the garden. He demonstrated his utter contempt for humanity by pooing in our slippers. Humphrey offered zero return on our emotional investment. But over the months and years, it became clear that it didn’t matter whether Humphrey loved us or not because we loved him. It was an exhausted, exasperated kind of love – but whenever I heard his soft paws padding and scratching, I felt my heart start to swell. As my sisters and I muddled through our teen years, needy, insecure, desperate to be loved, we wondered whether we ought to Be More Humphrey. He didn’t roll over, purring and exposing himself to anyone who showed him the slightest scrap of interest. He trusted that love would always exist for him. He lived a long and unremarkable life, from 1995 to 2014. I miss him still. I would have liked more cuddles and cleaner slippers, but I’m grateful for everything he taught me. Don’t try so hard. You don’t need to constantly hustle for affection and approval. People will love us, whether we like it or not. Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah (Left) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan (Right). — APP/PTIofficial ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has announced that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will be tried in a military court for the violence that took place on May 9 following his arrest from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) premises. “Imran Khan made a programme to target military installations and ensured its implementation so, according to my understanding, it is a case of the military court,” the security czar said in an interview with a private TV channel on Tuesday, Geo News reported. He added that the deposed prime minister — who was removed from power through a no-confidence motion in April last year — was the “mastermind” of the attacks and had planned it before, and the argument that he was in jail does not hold. “All the planning was done before Imran Khan’s arrest and the main architect of this is Imran Khan,” said the minister. He also added that the government has “evidence” of Imran’s involvement. Enraged by the PTI chief’s arrest, party workers and supporters pillaged government and military installations on May 9. To contain the violence, the government called in the army and announced that the protesters would be tried under army laws. A large number of PTI workers and leaders have been arrested in a countrywide crackdown. On Tuesday, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Faisalabad approved handing over four accused involved in attacking defence installations during the May 9 riots to the military court. A day earlier, the ATC in Rawalpindi approved the transfer of eight accused involved in the attack on the General Headquarters (GHQ) during the May 9 riots to military courts. The transfer of the cases was approved by ATC Judge Hamid Hussain after Deputy Prosecutor General Malik Rafqat Ali moved a petition seeking the transfer of the suspects to military courts. Similarly, 16 suspects, including an ex-PTI MPA involved in the ransacking and vandalising of Jinnah House in Lahore, were handed over to a commanding officer last week. https://www.thenews.com.pk/print/1075594-may-9-attacks-mastermind-imran-to-be-tried-in-military-court-rana-sana

Between the current situation, current affairs, novels, and children's and youth, we present four books that could stand out among the novelties of Filbo, which will begin in Bogotá on April 18 As the iconic Japanese writer and translator, author of novels, short stories and essays Haruki Murakami would say: "If you only read the books that everyone else is reading, you can only think what everyone else is thinking." This is why it is worth highlighting those titles and writers that do not always have a place on the large platforms, both traditional and digital, the same ones that can be in charge of po[CENSORED]rizing something or, on the contrary, discrediting it in a matter of moments. 1) Old furniture by Roberto Pombo-Joint: “This is not a history book nor is it a journalistic investigation; it is rather a series of profiles on the fly, without any rigorous or academic aspirations, in which I evoke the life and work of the presidents whose mandate I had to cover as a journalist since I started at the Alternativa magazine, back in the late 1950s. years 1970″ (...) “Ultimately, the presidents of Colombia have always been like those rodeo riders in the United States, who think they are going to dominate the bull very quickly, and it turns out that the indomitable animal knocks them down in five seconds. This is how it would normally be here. Each one, in their own way, all these characters are full of qualities and virtues, many of them really talented and some even gifted; But in the blink of an eye, the indomitable colt of the government throws them to the ground, and from there the only thing left for them is to survive, endure, count the hours until the ordeal is over.” Old furniture by Roberto Pombo / Planeta 2) The old malaise of the new world of Mauricio García Villegas-Actualidad: Excessive anger tends to harm the one who feels it more than the offender and the same happens with other emotions such as fear, resentment and revenge. Countries, like people, are also victims of this emotional lawlessness, with which, in all parts of the planet, something of this is suffered. But in Latin America, these emotions have undermined social coexistence more, hindered political activity more, made it more difficult to achieve collective projects, frustrated long-range objectives more. This book is an essay on Latin America and also on the current world, on its achievements and its failures, on the emotional overflow that we see today in culture and politics, and on the weakening of the institutions that could help us avoid a eventual tragic future. Here we don't just talk about sadness. Following a tradition that dates back to the 18th century, the author postulates, especially at present, the rescue of the Americanist feeling and the spiritual unity of the continent, in the midst of its cultural diversity and the unfathomable beauty of its nature. The old malaise of the new world by Mauricio García Villegas / Planet 3) Bury your name II, the murderers of the mount by Daniel Ángel-Novel: Many years later they also spoke of the escape, of the black and thick jungle, of the children who fell like nuts from the trees and were devoured by the earth. They spoke of the mothers who carried their dead children, of the curse of the men who persecuted them, for this reason they, the usual victims, had no other escape than to throw themselves into the abyss. The lost son of Erasmo Soler is now part of Los Pájaros de Colores, a criminal gang that blurs the lines between victims and perpetrators. Decades later, Ulises Villa Paz embarks on the task of finding the land of his lost brother, that land that for years has antagonized those who want to become a refuge from war and water a seed that does not germinate in violence. ["Bury your name I (Blood in the mouth)", by Daniel Ángel, can be purchased in its digital edition of Bajalibros by clicking here.] Bury your name II, the murderers of Mount Daniel Angel / Planet 4) YOLO Adventures 2 The mystery of the Amazon of Yolo, Nando, Mariana and Panda-Children and youth: The Adventurers have received some emails with alarming information that someone is destroying the Amazon. As they are the youtubers most committed to caring for the environment, they decide to go investigate but they cannot imagine what they will find robots shaped like dinosaurs, forest spirits, lost cities and the unknown evil entity that threatened to destroy them. Will Yolo, Mariana, Nando and Panda be able to save the most important jungle in the world? ["Yolo Aventuras 2. Bitcoin prices on the Australian arm of Binance, the world's largest crypto-currency exchange, were almost A$9,000 (roughly Rs. 4.8 lakh) lower than prices on rival exchanges on Tuesday, in a sign customers were seeking to exit their positions quickly. The price of the world's biggest cryptocurrency, bitcoin, was at around AUD 34,000 ($23,062.20, or roughly Rs. 18.3 lakh) on Binance Australia, compared with A$43,000 on BTC Markets, an Australia-based cryptocurrency exchange. Apple has announced that it's shutting down its older My Photo Stream service on July 26, and encouraging everyone to move over to iCloud Photos. If you still use My Photo Stream, your files will remain available in the cloud for 30 days from July 26. My Photo Stream was the forerunner to iCloud Photos. It was free to use but only covered a maximum of 1,000 pictures and video clips, keeping these files in sync across every Apple device you owned and on the web. Apple hasn't given a reason for shutting down the service, but iCloud Photos is clearly the newer and more comprehensive option for photo and video backups – while also making some money for Apple in terms of storage fees at the same time. Sponsored Links If You Need To Relax On Your Computer, You Have To Play This Game. No Install Elvenar "Moving forward" "Moving forward, iCloud Photos is the best way to keep the photos and videos you take up to date across all your devices and safely stored in iCloud," Apple said in an email sent out to anyone who is still making use of My Photo Stream. RECOMMENDED VIDEOS FOR YOU... CLOSE While photos and videos won't be deleted from your actual devices, they will be removed from the cloud 30 days from July 26 (so August 25), and syncing will be switched off. No new uploads will be permitted from July 26. The service launched alongside iCloud in 2011 and is something of a throwback to the time when tech companies were still figuring out how to get photo and video uploads to work in a speedy and seamless way. Analysis: what you need to do What Apple is doing here is phasing out the cloud storage and syncing service for your last 1,000 photos and videos. The original files – which in most cases will be on an iPhone, if they were captured with the iPhone camera – won't go anywhere. Unless you want to risk losing all your precious memories if something happens to your phone, you really need to get your pictures and videos uploaded to the cloud for safekeeping. Apple is pushing its own iCloud Photos service, which works well: once you go past 5GB of files though, you'll need to start paying for storage. Other similar services that offer paid-for cloud storage include Google Photos and Dropbox. If you don't want to pay or store anything in the cloud, you need to make sure your photos and videos are regularly backed up to a computer or storage drive or two, preferably in a different location to where your iPhone normally lives. There's more information in the official Apple support document about how the My Photo Stream shutdown is going to work, what you need to do with your photos and videos, and how to get them into iCloud Photos if you want to. https://www.techradar.com/news/apple-shuts-my-photo-stream-on-july-26-so-make-sure-you-dont-lose-your-photos

If you're looking for the ultimate motherboard for your next Intel CPU, Aorus would like a word. Due out in the fall, at the same time as Intel's Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs, the Aorus Z790 Xtreme X has built-in Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, four PCIe SSD slots (one of which is PCIe 5), a tool-free heatsink, a built-in screen and quite a bit more. We had a chance to see an early sample of the Xtreme X at Gigabyte's Computex 2023 suite and were impressed not only with the amount of flexibility but also with the ease of removing its heat sink, cable cover and SSD slot cooler. The board features a 10-layer PCB and 24 power phases and 105A power stages for overclocking. Last week Microsoft filed its appeal against the UK Competition and Markets Authority's decision to block its acquisition, and now the details of its appeal have been revealed. Microsoft has said that the CMA made "fundamental errors" when assessing its position in the cloud gaming sector, a vital part of the UK's decision to block the acquisition. Microsoft has said that the CMA failed to properly consider the constraints of "native gaming," that is playing a game that is installed on your device, on cloud gaming services. Microsoft argues that cloud gaming shouldn't be seen as a seperate market, due to the potential for gamers to decide to switch to native gaming instead. Along with correcting the CMA's "erroneous, narrow, market definition" of cloud gaming, Microsoft points to "three long-term commercial agreements" that would bring Microsoft-owned games to other cloud services for the next ten years, including Activision titles if the merger goes through. These agreements were pivotal in the European Union's decision-making, when it approved the merger earlier this month. "To us, this solution fully addressed our concerns," said Margrethe Vestager of the EU's decision. "And on top of that, it had significant procompetitive effects." Microsoft's appeal of the CMA's decision states five different grounds for appeal, each laying out an error in the original decision's reasoning. As part of its appeal, Microsoft has asked to have the decision quashed "in its entirety," as well as having the CMA pay the costs associated with appealing. So far 37 countries have approved the acquisition, with the UK blocking it, and the USA yet to approve the deal. The Federal Trade Commission is suing Microsoft to try to block the deal, with the initial hearing not until August this year. https://www.gamespot.com/articles/uk-made-fundamental-errors-in-blocking-activision-sale-microsoft-says-in-appeal/1100-6514625/

After a brutal reaction from reviewers and players alike—"Misery! Misery! Curse Daedalic. Curse it and crush it! We hates it! We hates it forever!" one Steam user wrote in an appropriately in-character review—Daedalic Entertainment has apologized for the sorry state of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum and says it will continue working on the game to ensure that it meets "its fullest potential." The highly negative reaction to Gollum caught me a little bit by surprise. I played a pre-release build of the game a few months before it came out, and found that it was actually better than I'd expected. (Acknowledging, for the record, that my expectations were pretty low.) It seemed pretty enough and potentially clever, the sort of thing that might rate a mid-60s (or maybe even a surprise 70!) at PC Gamer—which, in the context of our scoring system, is not terrible. That's actually right where we landed. "For all its many flaws," we said in our 64% review, Gollum "is an oft-beautiful and oddly endearing adventure." Alas, we were in the minority on this one. The Metacritic aggregate score currently sits at a dismal 43% and it holds a "mostly negative" across a paltry 113 user reviews on Steam. On social media, people are practically lining up to declare it the worst game of the year, even though it's only May. Sponsored Links If You Need To Relax On Your Computer, You Have To Play This Game. No Install Elvenar There's no question that Gollum is something of a mess. Even if you dig the underlying idea of playing a weak, vicious hobbit twisted by the evil of the One Ring, the game is plagued with bugs and performance issues, "including frequent crashes and progression-breaking bugs forcing rolling back to earlier saves or worse," as we noted in our review. RECOMMENDED VIDEOS FOR YOU... The situation is bad enough that Daedalic Entertainment has now officially apologized for the state of the game. "We would like to sincerely apologize for the underwhelming experience many of you have had with The Lord of the Rings: Gollum upon its release," the studio said in a message posted to Twitter. "We acknowledge and deeply regret that the game did not meet the expectations we set for ourselves or for our dedicated community. Please accept our sincere apologies for any disappointment this may have caused." Daedalic also said that it is "working diligently to address the bugs and technical issues" in the game, and that it is "committed to providing you with the patches that will allow you to enjoy the game to its fullest potential." That of course opens the door to the obvious question: What is Gollum's "fullest potential?" Bugs can be fixed and stability improved, but the underlying game is what it is, and the negativity of the initial reaction, and those brutal review scores, aren't going to change. Daedalic apologizes for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum (Image credit: Daedalic Entertainment) Predictably, the reaction to the apology is also ugly, with many accusing Daedalic of either incompetence—pushing Gollum out the door without knowing what a state it was in—or corruption—knowing what a state it was in and pushing it out the door anyway. A few take a more nuanced approach to the situation, but there are clearly limits to how much patience remains. "Release the patch," faceless wrote in response to the apology on Steam. "Improve the graphics. Improve the musical accompaniment. Improve the gameplay. Add more game mechanics. Create an improved customization. Everything is in your hands. I'm a fan of the Lord of the Rings series. But you screwed up hard." Some of that over-the-top backlash against Gollum may be hyperbolic or a heat-of-the-moment reaction, but the frustration with botched game launches is understandable. Over the last two months alone, publishers have apologized for the half-baked states of big-time games including The Last of Us Part 1, Redfall, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. https://www.pcgamer.com/the-lord-of-the-rings-gollum-studio-says-sorry-for-the-lord-of-the-rings-gollum-game/
