There is a huge variety of ecommerce platform packages from which to choose, so building an online store has never been easier. To begin, first you'll need ecommerce web hosting, which is to say hosting that will scale up with your business without interruption. Next you'll need shopping cart software to run with your ecommerce site. This will probably include a payment gateway for credit card processing, though if you're already established and have a decent enough credit rating you could apply for merchant services to reduce transaction costs. Your ecommerce website doesn't have to be expensive to design, either, as there are plenty of ecommerce themes available. Additionally, if you also have a bricks-and-mortar store than a Point of Sale (POS) system for mobile credit card processing can be particularly desirable. Which ecommerce software is best for your business depends entirely on your specific requirements. If you're an online-only outfit, then POS integration won't be necessary, but you may get a lot of business from overseas, in which case foreign currency support would be a requirement. In this article, we’re going to highlight some of the best ecommerce platforms available right now, before moving on to consider other options you might want to explore in terms of creating your own ecommerce solution. Wix is our top-rated ecommerce platform If you want a simpler alternative to some of the full-on web store building solutions here, check out Wix. It’s highly user-friendly, yet there’s still plenty of ecommerce power available to create a suitably impressive online store. Wix may be better known for providing an all-purpose website builder, but it's not just templates and logos that Wix can provide, but also a fully-functional ecommerce platform. While other platforms are known for their complexity in being able to deliver an ecommerce platform for all needs, Wix offers a much simpler solution for small businesses who don't need all the bells and whistles of an online megastore. Additionally, because of the suite of website building tools available through Wix, setting up an ecommerce platform is really simple and easy to do, and just as easy to manage, with no coding skills required. The result is a platform that anyone should be able to use without too much difficulty. There are over 500 templates available to help you get the look and feel you need for your ecommerce site, and along with inventory management, you can also use Wix payments to choose from a global network of payment providers, including all major credit card companies, as well as other services such as PayPal and Stripe. Overall, if you want a simpler alternative to some of the full-on web store building solutions here, Wix delivers well. It’s highly user- Rather than being a standalone ecommerce platform, WooCommerce is a free plugin that can turn your Wordpress website into a fully functional ecommerce website. The basic WooCommerce plugin is easy to install through Wordpress, and even better is that the plugin is free to download and use. However, to get the most from WooCommerce you will need to install a number of third-party plugins. This is to add features such as payment processing, inventory management, and stock control. Bluehost simplifies the process by providing a read-made Woocommerce platform with everything you need already installed, and that includes a shopping theme and essential plugins. Although two different plans are offered, even the Standard plan offers almost every feature you could possibly need. Features include not just the online store with the store-front theme installed but also a blog, along with Jetpack free, payment processing, email marketing, and discount codes. The Premium plan adds online bookings and appointments, subscriptions, product customization, as well as local & country tax management. Of course, there's web hosting undlying everything as well, meaning that you have a fully functional ecommerce platform already online as soon as you sign up to Bluehost - all that's left for you is to add your products and set up marketing and you're good to go. All in all Woocommerce is one of the best ecommerce platforms for those looking to ease themselves into starting an online retail business, whether for physical products or even digital ones, and the web hosting platform deal provided by Bluehost makes it incredibly simple to get started.

Genesis Noir (PC [reviewed], Nintendo Switch, Xbox One) Developer: Feral Cat Den Publisher: Fellow Traveller Released: March 26, 2021 MSRP: $14.99 First and foremost, Genesis Noir has style. At some points, its style literally oozes across the screen as the protagonist gets swept up in cosmic hijinks and surreal, distorted voids of space and time. Stars twinkle and morph into the silhouettes of characters, and different shapes morph from one into another. It's really something else to watch this game in motion, even more so when you start mani[CENSORED]ting it. After a short intro, No Man pulls out a number scrawled on a napkin, accentuated with a smack of lipstick. Taking control of him, you dial the number and head over to an apartment, only to find the captivating jazz singer Miss Mass and saxophonist Golden Boy, as the latter is firing a gun at the former. This is the Big Bang. It is the event you'll spend the next few hours of Genesis Noir attempting to halt, and prevent the star—rather, Miss Mass—from dying out. Genesis Noir really revels in the double-speak that fans of film noir will be accustomed to. It's a hard-boiled mystery, but rather than tracking clues through speakeasies and alleyways, you're venturing the cosmos—which do, sometimes, take the shape of speakeasies and alleyways, just surreal cosmic interpretations. Most of the story is unspoken and inferred. Most of the relationship between No Man, Miss Mass, and Golden Boy is inferred through imagery and symbols. Outside of item descriptions and some dialogue later in the game, Genesis Noir is shown, not told. Visuals like a legendary musician building up an adoring crowd, then lamenting their absence help inform you who these characters are, and what might have led to the events of the night you're trying to prevent. It's a simple but extremely effective way of drawing the player in, and I was hooked on every twist and turn, theorizing what a clue I found in the cosmic slipstream might mean for the history of these characters. Finding these pieces of evidence through individual vignettes is also a visual treat. Genesis Noir is simply striking. It looks incredible in stills and manages to maintain the style in motion, even as it jumps between different styles and settings. The sharp lines of the 1950s can be contrasted against the vast beauty of the cosmos, and then again in comic panel cutaways. Though it plays out in a predominantly black-and-white color scale, colors are used to denote specific points of interest, or to add a little flair to certain objects. Genesis Noir is built like a traditional adventure game similar to Grim Fandango. Rather than one large world, it's broken up into individual vignettes, where you walk around trying to find ways to move forward and engage with the occasional puzzle, usually thematic one-shots for each area you're in, like tuning a radio or mimicking an upright bass player's improvisations with your own, all in order to progress forward through the cosmic dream and acquire more evidence. Some of these puzzles get a little more complex, and without dialogue to explain them, they can get frustrating. Usually there are environmental cues to push you in the right direction, but there are at least a few that had me brute-forcing answers. The mouse controls were also not great in these parts—fine-tuning a radial knob or even just spinning the landscape would feel a bit off. The path to the end is mostly straightforward, as you work your way across the cosmos and through the history of humanity, all the way from the birth of the universe to humanity's discovery of God particles and interstellar travel. It's fascinating how the game paints the main narrative alongside concepts like the Kardashev scale and the Big Crunch, but it really does work. No Man's story can feel massive in scale, even if he's just hunting for a way to save someone, and it's easy to feel for his struggle. There is one branch at the end, which poses a final choice to the player after a long journey with plenty of time for introspection and consideration. It was surprisingly difficult, given the circumstances, and it made me rethink a lot of what I'd seen up to that point. It's a stunning finale that manages to tie together seemingly disparate points of human history into a surreal adventure of personal responsibility and maintaining hope in the face of an apathetic universe. Well, there's also the spectacular soundtrack. It leans heavy on the big band and jazz, but strays off into galactic synth territory in just the right places. The audio work is great as well, acting as the sound effects for the otherwise (mostly) unspoken dialogue. Sounds, gestures, and intonations do most of the work, and even little bits like the pop of bubbles as your protagonist drinks their drink, lulled into the sound of a beautiful singer on stage, work so well. So what starts as a noir-infused story about a jilted saxophone player expands to much, much more, as your journey to find a way to stop this all from ever happening dives deep into cosmic territory. Descriptive text for evidence you've collected plays into the story, like a cigar that's said to smell of extinguished ego; "It's tightly wound and recently put out." It's little moments like these that drew me in and hooked me on the story, endearing me both to the shady conflict between these characters and the time-bending, galaxy-shifting efforts No Man was making to put a stop to them. By zipping through the creation of life itself, you might just find answers to why someone has been shot and how to stop it. Though some puzzles and controls can get pretty frustrating, the adventure itself is the draw, and with Genesis Noir, it's a beautiful trip through primordial creation worth taking. If you're eager to see what kind of stylish, inventive ways developers are finding to tell stories in games, this hard-boiled trip is worth the ticket. --------------------------------- Game System Requirments --------------------------------- Minimum : Memory: 6 GB Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti CPU: Intel Pentium 4 4.00GHz File Size: 8 GB OS: Windows 10 ----------------------------------- Recommended : Memory: 8 GB Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti CPU: Intel Pentium 4 4.00GHz File Size: 4 GB OS: Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10 --------------------------------- Video Trailer :

Patience is a virtue, but it's certainly tough to wait for something as exciting as a new vehicle. That's what prospective buyers for the new Ford Bronco are are feeling these days, but waiting they are. Not only that, new statistics Ford shared with Motor1.com show these folks are loyal, too. First and foremost, Ford tells us everything is on schedule for the new Bronco to enter production this spring. Volume production for both two-door and four-door models at the Michigan Assembly Plant will begin in a matter of weeks. That's good news for buyers who already committed to the off-roader, and on that front, Ford says there are a lot of them. Gallery: 2021 Ford Bronco 2021 Ford Bronco off-road at sunset 53 Photos "With our first batch of reservations-to-orders converted, Bronco brand is seeing extremely strong momentum," said Jiyan Cadiz, Ford Icon communications manager. "Of the more than 125,000 orders we’ve collected since January, our customers are going for it – with more than 70 percent selecting the more premium Bronco 2- and 4-door series, and more than 60 percent opting for the more powerful twin-turbo EcoBoost engine." The Bronco starts under $30,000 in Base trim, but Ford says the higher trims from Outer Banks on up account for most sales. Outer Banks in two-door form starts at $39,000, but the range-topping model – for this first year only – is the First Edition starting at $57,410. A quick look at Ford's customer-facing website tells us First Edition reservations are full, making the $46,980 Wildtrak the official Bronco flagship. That is, at least until the hardcore Bronco Warthog arrives. Ford ultimately collected over 190,000 Bronco reservations. With more than 125,000 confirmed as sales, that translates to a conversion rate of nearly 66 percent. Considering all the COVID-related issues throughout the auto industry – including supply problems affecting the Bronco directly – that's an impressive figure and indicative of just how eager off-road buyers are for a Jeep Wrangler competitor.

The award-winning US actress Jessica Walter has died aged 80, her family says. "It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of my beloved mom," Walter's daughter Brooke Bowman said. "A working actor for over six decades, her greatest pleasure was bringing joy to others through her storytelling both on screen and off," Ms Bowman said. Walter is best known for playing the icy matriarch in the Arrested Development TV sitcom in the 2000s. She also won an Emmy for starring as a detective in the police drama Amy Prentiss in the 1970s. "While her legacy will live on through her body of work, she will also be remembered by many for her wit, class and overall joie de vivre," Ms Bowman said. The Deadline website, which first reported the news, quoted the family as saying that Walter had died in her sleep at her home in New York. During her long career, Walter starred in several po[CENSORED]r TV dramas and sitcoms, like NCIS and Law & Order, and also appeared in a number of films. One of her starring movie performances was alongside Clint Eastwood in his 1971 directorial debut, Play Misty for Me, earning a Golden Globe nomination. She also starred in Grand Prix (1966). Among her many TV comedy cameos, Walter played Mrs Latham, a university benefactor who seduces Leonard in an episode of The Big Bang Theory.

As reported by PCMag, GameStop has undertaken a new business venture. The renowned video game retailer has started selling computer hardware on its online store, including Nvidia's elusive GeForce RTX 3000 (Ampere) offerings that are among the best graphics cards that money can buy -- or rather cannot buy. When a company has spent a lifetime doing the same thing, it's difficult for it to leave its comfort zone. In fact, many companies end up going out of business if they don't get with the times. It's commendable that GameStop is taking a crack at being a computer hardware retailer, especially in these difficult times. With this new endeavor, GameStop will be joining the ranks of seasoned veterans, such as Newegg, Micro Center, Best Buy and Amazon - just to name some. GameStop won't just stop at selling computer hardware either. In its Q4 2020 earnings call, CEO George Sherman reaffirmed the company's commitment to expand its catalog of products to cover a wide variety of other gaming-oriented products, including laptops, routers and monitors. "We are continuing the work to expand our addressable market by growing GameStop's product catalog. This includes growing our product offerings across PC gaming, computers, monitors, game tables, mobile gaming and gaming TVs, to name only a few. These categories represent natural extensions that our customers would expect to buy from us, expanding our addressable market size by over five times, and over time, will reduce our reliance on the cyclicality of the console-based gaming market." When it comes to Ampere, GameStop will be selling almost every SKU from the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti to the flagship GeForce RTX 3090. The retailer's current collection is made up of big-name brands, like Asus, EVGA and MSI. The majority of the graphics cards are unavailable for purchase as GameStop probably doesn't have stock yet. It's likely that the retailer is still preparing the product pages so more models may appear down the line. However, some of the graphics cards are labelled with an expectance date for April 16. The product pages show that GameStop will allow online purchases as the retailer offers the option to send the product to your home or customers can go pick it up at one of GameStop's brick-and-mortar stores. It remains to be seen whether GameStop's business model will include physically selling the products at their stores. For example, Micro Center typically sells processors for below their MSRP, but the retailer limits the orders to in-store purchases only. GameStop will certainly earn brownie points with enthusiasts if the store offers a similar option as it would help crackdown on the scalpers. Advertisement Taking into account the current situation that we're living in, it'd be foolish to think that you can find a custom Ampere graphics cards at the manufacturer's MSRP. With all things considered, GameStop's pricing looks competitive though. There's a price variation up to 13% between GameStop and Newegg. Some models are cheaper at the first, while others are more affordable at the latter. Unfortunately, we've reached the point where the winning retailer isn't the one who sells the same graphics card for cheaper, but the one who actually has it in stock.

Google has removed a po[CENSORED]r Chrome extension called ClearURLs from the Chrome Web Store and its creator has described the company's reasoning for doing so as “ridiculous”. As reported by The Register, the Chrome team emailed the developer of the extension Kevin Röbert to inform him that his extension had been removed from its store due to violating its terms. According to the Google Chrome team, ClearURLs was banned for having an inaccurate description, using permissions and keyword spam. We've built a list of the best VPN services around These are the best anonymous browsers on the market Also check out our roundup of the best privacy apps for Android In the extension's page on the Chrome Web Store, Kevin Röbert describes how it can prevent unwanted tracking online by removing tracking elements often found inside URLs, saying: “This extension will automatically remove tracking elements from URLs to help protect your privacy when browse through the Internet. Many websites use tracking elements in the URL (e.g.https://example.comutm_source=newsletter1&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=sale)to mark your online activity. All that tracking code is not necessary for a website to be displayed or work correctly and can therefore be removed—that is exactly what ClearURLs does.” Although ClearURLs has been available on the Chrome Web Store for some time now, it was removed from the store after Google discovered several violations. At the time of writing though, the extension's page is back up and you can download ClearURLs here. Even when the extension was unavailable on the Chrome Web Store, interested users could still download it for other browsers including Firefox and Microsoft Edge as well as manually for Chrome from GitHub or GitLab. One of the reasons that Röbert believes his extension was removed in the first place is due to how it could potentially hurt Google's business model as the search giant uses tracking elements in URLs to help advertisers. Still though, Robert made the necessary changes to his extension and appealed against its removal from the Chrome Web Store. It appears that Röbert's appeal was successful but we'll have to wait and see whether or not Google tries to remove similar privacy-focused extensions that alter URLs from the Chrome Web Store. We've also highlighted the best browser Via The Register

The latest trailer for the PvP heist game Hood: Outlaws & Legends details the fourth and final character class, the Mystic. The class seems tuned to support, though it's not without its share of combat abilities as well. The Mystic is an ex-inquisitor who uses a flail as his primary weapon. He can regenerate his stamina faster than other characters, so he can win battles of attrition. He also has a poison ability that saps opponents' stamina. His Ultimate ability is Instinct, which allows him to see through walls for a short time and heal himself and nearby allies. Altogether, the trailer explains, he's well-suited for healing and crowd control. Within that context, though, the Mystic can be customized to suit your needs with different loadouts. Your perks could make your grenades heal allies instead of poison enemies, convert damage to health to withstand a battle even longer, or increase everyone's movement speed if you sprint alongside them. This follows similar character trailers surrounding the other three classes: Ranger, Hunter, and Brawler. Hood: Outlaws & Legends is a reimagining of the classic Robin Hood story. Teams take part in PvPvE challenges to steal precious treasure and do battle with each other to make off with the goods. It's coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on May 10. Players who preorder will get early access on May 7.

After 50 years of marriage, Carolyn and Kelly Gay decided to recreate their wedding photos — with Carolyn in the same dress she wore in 1971. The couple, from Cumming, Iowa, had the photoshoot on the day of their golden anniversary, March 12, 2021, at the same church where they were married. The pictures were practically perfect matches, with Carolyn, 70, in her original wedding dress and Kelly, 76, in a similar-looking suit. The church, DSM First Church in Des Moines, even had the same paint color, altar, cross and candelabras as it did 50 years ago. Carolyn told SWNS that the church has undergone a few changes over the years, but recently went back to its original colors. Carolyn and Kelly Gay recreated their wedding photos in the original venue exactly 50 years after their marriage (March 12 1971 and "It's amazing as it was the same color as 50 years ago," she said. VIRGINIA WOMAN GIVING AWAY WEDDING DRESS TO NEW BRIDE Carolyn had the idea to recreate their wedding photos after she spent three years growing out her hair to be the same length as it was in 1971. She told SWSN that she previously wasn't able to grow her hair because she had undergone treatment for breast cancer, and because of various medical procedures. Carolyn, 70, was inspired to recreate their wedding photos after she was able to grow out her hair during the last three years. Before then, she had cut her hair because of various medical procedures. Before then, she had cut her hair because of various medical procedures. (SWNS) The recreation was also helped by the fact that Carolyn could still fit into her wedding dress. "I was pretty sure I was within five pounds of my weight as to what I weighed back when I was married, so I thought, 'I think I can get in that dress!'" Carolyn said. Carolyn was even able to wear her original wedding dress from 1971. (SWNS) Once they got to the church, Carolyn said the photos were "so much fun to recreate." "It took about an hour to an hour-and-a-half, to take the new pictures, and it was just a fun time," Carolyn added. The anniversary photos were taken by Sam Hoyle from Two Hoyles Photography. Aside from re-taking their wedding photos, the couple also looked at their receipts from their wedding day, which cost them a total of $340 — and that included flowers, as well as food for the guests. Carolyn’s dress cost $46.35, plus $8.24 for alterations.

Contrary to how things often seem, there are rules when it comes to American advertising. The National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureau National Programs has ruled on a complaint from FCA US (now Stellantis) that Ford was fine to label certain attributes about the 2021 Ford Bronco as "best-in-class." However, the National Advertising Division said that Ford should stop using the phrase "engineered . . . for . . . segment-leading . . . long term off-road performance and dependability" when marketing the Bronco. The group said that the problem was that the automaker's materials made no comparison to competitor data or performance testing to substantiate this assertion. Gallery: 2021 Ford Bronco 2021 Ford Bronco off-road at sunset 53 Photos One of FCA's complaints was Ford making "best-in-class" claims about the 2021 Bronco even though the SUV was not yet on sale to the public. The National Advertising Division ruled that it was normal to make assertions about a vehicle's capabilities during a reveal. This is fine as long as the company can support what it is reporting about a new vehicle. When looking at the press release and media kit from the Bronco's reveal, the National Advertising Division found that some of the "best-in-class" claims could have appeared to refer to both the standard Bronco and Bronco Sport. The agency told the automaker to modify the materials to indicate clearly which assertions did not apply to the Sport. Another complaint concern the use of "projected" and "available" in the marketing materials. The advertising watchdog didn't find anything misleading about these statements. However, it recommended for Ford not to use them in the same claim because there was a potential for confusing consumers. Specifically, the automaker needed to be clearer "that horsepower and torque are 'projected' pending SAE certification, and that the cited figures are achieved with the identified 'available' configurations." In its statement to the National Advertising Division, Ford said it would comply with the groups decisions.

India has placed a temporary hold on all exports of the Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine, foreign ministry sources have told the BBC. They said rising cases meant domestic demand was expected to pick up in the coming weeks, and so the doses were needed for India's own rollout. The move - described as a "temporary squeeze" by officials - is expected to affect supplies until the end of April. Some 190 countries under the Covax scheme are likely to be affected. The scheme, which is led by the World Health Organization (WHO), aims to ensure vaccines are shared fairly among all nations. India's largest vaccine manufacturer, the Serum Institute of India (SII), has delayed shipments of the AstraZeneca jab to several countries in recent days, including the UK and Brazil. India has exported more than 60 million vaccine doses to 76 countries so far, with the majority of these being the Oxford-AstraZeneca jab. Why has India taken this step? The decision comes as India faces a surge in coronavirus cases. On Wednesday it recorded its sharpest daily rise this year, with more than 47,000 new cases and 275 deaths. It is opening up vaccinations for those over the age of 45 from 1 April, and officials expect demand for vaccinations to increase. India's Covid-19 case spike 'alarming' Can India's vaccine producers meet demand? How will vaccines be shared around the world? "[The export hold] is a temporary measure. Domestic demand will have to take precedence," one foreign ministry source told the BBC's Soutik Biswas. They said there was likely to be a squeeze on vaccine supplies until April, but the situation could ease come May when at least one additional vaccine is expected to be given emergency approval. media captionWatch: The Indian factory making 6,000 syringes a minute There have been no exports from India since Thursday, according to the foreign ministry's website. "Everything else has taken a backseat, for the time being at least," one source at the ministry told Reuters news agency. "No exports, nothing [until] the India situation stabilises." There has been no official comment from the government or the SII on the decision. What's the background? The SII - the world's largest vaccine manufacturer - has already delayed shipments of the AstraZeneca jab to the UK, Brazil, Saudi Arabia and Morocco. Last week, the BBC reported that a delivery of five million doses had been held up by four weeks. "We will try to supply more later, based on the current situation and the requirement for the government immunisation programme in India," an SII spokesperson said at the time. India's daily caseload is increasing Presentational white space The SII has said it will produce one billion doses this year for low- and middle-income countries. And in January, it said it could turn out between 60 and 70 million vaccine doses a month. This figure included the AstraZeneca vaccine as well as the US-developed Novavax jab, which is not yet licensed for use in India. That month, the SII also told the BBC that it was aiming to boost its monthly production to 100 million doses from March. However, a recent check revealed production was still at 60 to 70 million doses and had not increased. The Indian government began its vaccination programme on 16 January, and so far has inoculated over 47 million people amid fears of a possible second wave. The authorities are hoping to administer 600 million doses within seven months - about 85 million doses a month.

It would seem that Nvidia might have encountered a setback leading up to the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti's release. According to a message posted on the Board Channels forums, the chipmaker has purportedly pushed the launch date to mid-May. The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti was previously rumored to debut in mid-April. The GeForce RTX 3090 and the Radeon RX 6900 XT are the two of the best graphics cards on the market right now. The truth of the matter is that neither flagship is cheap or in stock. The GeForce RTX 3090 retails for $1,499, while the Radeon RX 6900 XT sells for $999 if you can find one outside of eBay (see our GPU price index). The general consensus is that Nvidia is cooking up the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti to compete with the Radeon RX 6900 XT at the $999 price bracket. In order for that to happen, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti's performance would have to be on equal grounds or better than the Radeon RX 6900 XT. Nvidia has gone to lengths to keep the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti under wraps, but it presumably takes after the GeForce RTX 3090. It's probable that the graphics card uses the same GA102 silicon. There is speculation that the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti comes equipped with 82 Streaming Multiprocessors (SMs), same as the GeForce RTX 3090. However, there's another group that thinks that Nvidia might disable two SMs to bring the CUDA count down to 10,240. The latter seems reasonable since Nvidia wouldn't want the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti's performance to be too close to the flagship SKU. Reputable hardware leaker kopite7kimi reported that the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti could feature a 1,665 MHz boost clock, 30 MHz lower than the GeForce RTX 3090. If Nvidia applies the same treatment to the base clock then the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti should check in at 1,365 MHz. On the memory front, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti reportedly features 12GB of 19 Gbps GDDR6X memory, half of what's on the GeForce RTX 3090 and slightly slower. However, it may still retain the 384-bit memory interface. If so, the memory bandwidth would peak around 912.4 GBps. The GeForce RTX 3090 delivers a hash rate up to 106.5 MH/s on Ethereum so it'll be interesting to see just how the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti performs in mining Ethereum. Previous Ampere launches have taught us that intial supply is extremely limited, and we don't expect the situation to change with the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. It'll probably require a miracle to beat scalpers to one, much less find it at the rumored $999 price tag. Let's hope that the extra month gives Nvidia enough time to build up its GeForce RTX 3080 Ti stock. If not, it's time to pull another all-nighter continuously hitting that F5 button in hope to snag one away from the scalpers.

After launching Slack Connect last year, Slack has announced that it will expand the service to allow users to securely connect with anyone outside of their organization with Slack Connect direct messages (DMs). Slack Connect is designed to replace email outside of one's company as the service allows users to work with external organizations right from within its online collaboration software. In fact, up to 20 organizations can securely work together in the same space using the service and each side is able to maintain control over their organization's data. Now though, Slack is expanding Slack Connect through direct messages which are available now but the company also plans to allow users to link together multiple organizations to create a private business network later this year. We've built a list of the best video conferencing software available These are the best online collaboration tools on the market Also check out our roundup of the best business webcams To get started using Slack Connect DMs, users simply need to send an invite to anyone else using Slack and once they accept, they'll be able to communicate with one another using direct messages. The company also plans to offer Slack Connect DM invitations to all teams soon, including those on free plans. Later this year businesses will able to use Slack Connect to securely connect to external organizations to make it easier for them to work with trusted partners without having to deal with long email threads. Admins and security professionals will be happy to know that all of Slack's enterprise-grade security features and compliance standards extend to both channels and direct messages with external partners. However, the company also plans to further extend the service's security capabilities before Slack Connect's next feature goes live. Over the past year, there has been a huge increase in the number of phishing scams and cyberattacks as cybercriminals attempt to capitalize on the massive number of employees working from home. While Slack Connect already restricts certain file types from being sent in channels and DMs, Slack will soon add malware protection and link scanning to the service to further prevent phishing scams and spam. Finally, the company plans to allow two or more organizations to create their own private business network using Slack Connect. These networks will allow for unified directories, direct messaging, channel discovery and shared applications when they roll out this winter. We've also rounded up all the gear you'll need to work from home successfully

Platforms : PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One Developers : PolyAmorous Publishers : All in! Games Release Date : March 24, 2021 Video games have had us infiltrating Nazi bases for decades now, but Paradise Lost takes a decidedly more tempered approach than the all-guns blazing action of Wolfenstein or Sniper Elite. Its underground bunker setting is almost completely desolate from the outset of the story, so the closest you’ll ever come to having a rifle is when you’re having a rifle through filing cabinets for clues to determine exactly what fate befell its inhabitants. Yet while I explored the often disturbing depths of Paradise Lost’s Swastika-adorned subterranea with a sustained sense of morbid fascination, its frustratingly sparse approach to storytelling meant that my emotional investment in the plight of its characters remained permanently stranded on the surface. Share Autoplay setting: On In Paradise Lost’s alternate history setting, World War II continued through to 1960, allowing enough time for the Nazis to develop powerful atomic weapons in subterranean bunker facilities. Eventually, under pressure from the US and Soviets, the Nazis unleashed a nuclear holocaust and retreated underground, reducing the entire European continent to an uninhabitable wasteland. Paradise Lost’s story picks up twenty years later, when a 12-year-old Polish survivor named Szymon enters one of these bunkers in search of a mysterious man who knew his late mother, and I felt an immediate pull to find out exactly who or what was lurking below. Third Reich Rapture The eerie descent into Paradise Lost’s cavernous expanse initially gives the impression that you’re in for some kind of bunker-bound BioShock, and this feeling is reinforced when Szymon soon strikes up a two-way radio relationship with Ewa, who plays an Atlas-style role in helping Szymon navigate through each area while keeping her true motivations unclear. But there are no Splicers or Big Daddies to fight as you pick through the remains of Paradise Lost’s deserted dystopia, and for the most part your actions are fairly basic and limited to reading letters, listening to audio logs, and pulling levers to power up any dormant mechanisms that impede your path forward. Outside of your interactions with Ewa, which are reasonably engaging but generally restricted to the intercom microphones you come upon every once in a while, you’re effectively left alone to try and piece together the narrative by scouring each office and hallway for as much information as you can. By far the most stimulating way to absorb a bit of the bunker’s backstory is the handful of times you get access to an archaic E-V-E computer terminal, which provides you with black box-style recordings of the last moments of activity in any given area. E-V-E is the AI that controls the bunker’s security and agricultural systems, among other things, and it’s oddly fascinating to watch a critical moment in this place’s history unfold on the terminal screen in a flurry of human-tracking heat maps and crisis management probability calculations. Curiously, these memory sequences are interactive, giving you control over where troops are deployed during a conflict between the Nazis and members of the Poland Underground State, for example. These choices helped to keep me engaged in the E-V-E interactions and they do have slight implications for Szymon’s story, but I could never really understand exactly how I was able to mani[CENSORED]te events that had already taken place. I guess I must have missed that memo, and believe me when I say I read absolutely every memo I could get my hands on. In fact I sought out and pored over every scrap of information I could find in Paradise Lost, and yet I still don’t feel like I ever knew enough about the individuals on either side of its central conflict to really care about its outcome. At one point Ewa insists that Szymon explores the cells where Polish women were held for heinous experiments in eugenics, in order to pay respect to their individual stories. But there’s only so much you can learn when the sole interactive object in one cell is a used up punch card and another has nothing but a half-finished crossSuch stingy storytelling is sadly consistent throughout Paradise Lost. Although the environments are extremely well crafted, from artificial beachsides beneath looming rock ceilings to the dishevelled dwellings of the living quarters, it’s mostly all look but don’t touch with very little available for up-close examination. Paradise Lost is like a bag of Doritos, it looks dense from the outside but once you actually open it up and reach around inside, it’s surprising just how much of the space is unused. It’s especially maddening just how often interactable drawers are completely empty when only one out of every ten or so can even be opened in the first place, particularly given the sluggish speed at which Szymon lumbers around each room in search of story morsels.word puzzle, leaving it hard to connect with their struggle. Paradise Lost is like a bag of Doritos, it looks dense from the outside but once you actually open it up and reach around inside, it’s surprising just how much of the space is unused. “ I was also frustrated by Paradise Lost’s tendency to deliberately prevent you from fully exploring its environments. Some of the larger areas have two paths you can take through them, but opting for one means permanently forgoing the other and any possible exposition it may be housing. Towards the story’s end you come upon three locked doors, each containing potentially vital clues, yet you’re only given the means to open two of them. Why do this? If the sole point of your game is to tell a story, why intentionally cordon off chunks of it from us? If it’s purely a decision to encourage repeat playthroughs, then it’s not one with much payoff – I played through Paradise Lost’s four-hour story a second time, choosing different paths and E-V-E choices the whole way through, and the only slightly altered outcome left me feeling equally indifferent. It certainly didn’t help that the intermittent nature of Szymon and Ewa’s radio chats meant I never bought into their bond, which becomes the primary focus towards the story’s climax. With their sparse conversations not providing enough substance to grab onto it all seemed a bit forced, and their fates just didn’t feel as important to me as Paradise Lost seemed to expect they would. There were also some technical flaws present in the PC version that I played for review. Dialogue lines would often repeat, and on a couple of occasions I fell through the map, forcing a checkpoint restart. Since I opted to play with a controller with the Y-axis inverted for look controls, I was disappointed to find that it also reversed my inputs when I was interacting with objects – meaning I had to counterintuitively push the thumbstick forward to pull down on a lever, or pull it back to push through a door. That’s not how inverted camera controls should work. Paradise Lost fails to take full advantage of its gripping premise and the haunting atmosphere of its setting, falling short of the standard set by other first-person narrative experiences released in recent years. It’s not as detail-rich as Gone Home, the radio-based relationship between its two leads never reaches the same level of intimacy as Firewatch, and its storytelling isn’t nearly as inventive or interactive as that of What Remains of Edith Finch. I admire the imagination that’s gone into realising the architecture of its underground facility, but I just wish the scarcity of story detail and character development within it hadn’t left me feeling colder than a concrete corridor. --------------------------------------------- Game System Requirments : --------------------------------------------- Minimum : --------------------------------------------- Memory: 4 GB Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 CPU: Intel Core i5-4400E File Size: 30 GB OS: Windows 10 --------------------------------------------- Recommended : --------------------------------------------- Memory: 8 GB Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 CPU: Intel Core i7-610 File Size: 30 GB OS: Windows 10 --------------------------------------------- Video Trailer :

The CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruises has called on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to update its sailing guidance as the coronavirus vaccine is distributed across the U.S. The executive said that cruise companies (and customers) are eager to plan a safe return to the seas – revealing that Royal Caribbean has had 100,000 guests on 150 ships during the pandemic. On Sunday, Chairman and CEO Richard Fain shared the scoop with travel advisors and partners in video message posted to Royal Caribbean’s official YouTube page. FIRST FEMALE 'MEGA' CRUISE SHIP CAPTAIN JOINS LIZ CLAMAN TO DISCUSS BREAKING GENDER BARRIERS AND LIFE AT SEA "No longer are we talking about when will cruising restart, cruising has already restarted. Royal Caribbean Group has now carried over 100,000 guests on over 150 cruises during the pandemic. And out of the 100,000 guests, we've only had 10 people test positive for the COVID virus," Fain said. "All of them have been handled smoothly and without undue disruption of other guest cruises, and without undue burden on the governments and communities involved." A spokesperson for the cruise line was not immediately available to offer further comment to Fox News regarding exactly where and when these voyages happened. Fain may have been alluding to the buzzed-about "mock voyages," for which the company says over 150,000 have volunteered. Under CDC guidance, Royal Caribbean and competitor cruise lines will need cruising enthusiasts to step up and serve as passengers to assess their ability to mitigate the risk of spreading COVID-19 before a larger return to service. "In essence, we’ve just had 100,000 test cruisers and demonstrated that the process works. We’re now able to achieve our objective of being safer than your home community," Fain alleged. "It's also important to note that our experience isn't unique. The industry itself as a whole has carried more than 350,000 passengers and again, that's happened with very few cases and minimal disruption. "This is precisely what we thought would be the case, and now, it is the most powerful and reliable evidence in multiple, real-world settings. Interestingly, and importantly, all of this is before vaccines." On Sunday, Chairman and CEO Richard Fain shared the scoop with travel advisors and partners in video message posted to Royal Caribbean’s official YouTube page. (Mark Elias/Bloomberg via Getty Images, Royal Caribbean) Calling inoculations "the ultimate weapon" against the viral disease, Fain said that enhanced testing and improved contact tracing capabilities have created a "dramatic change in the landscape" for cruising. Royal Caribbean has recently announced it will resume sailing from Israel to Greece and Cyprus in May, and cruising around the Bahamas in June. Cruise lines Viking and P&O have also announced they will sail around the U.K. this summer, too. "The response to these announcements has been exceptional. It all reinforces the view that there is an enormous amount of pent-up demand eager to cruise again," Fain said of the news. The CEO called for the CDC to review its stateside "Framework for Conditional Sailing Order" given increasing public access to the COVID-19 vaccine. "The CDC issued the conditional sale order last October in an effort to provide a path for cruising to reopen in the United States … When the conditional sale order was written, there were no vaccines," Fain explained. "The disease was on an upward trajectory and heading towards a terrible peak. Testing was less available and more costly, and therapeutics were limited. In general, the situation looked very bleak back then."

The new Bentley Continental GT Speed is the most dynamic road car in the company's 101-year history – and that's not just marketing speak. The Speed extracts even more power from the Continental GT's 6.0-liter W12, adds poise via all-wheel steering and an advanced suspension setup, and looks even sharper with updated exterior styling and a brand-new "Speed" badge. The calling card of this new Conti GT Speed is that monstrous twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W12. Here that engine pumps out 650 horsepower (485 kilowatts) and 664 pound-feet (900 newton-meters), which represents a 24-horse increase over the traditional Continental GT. That extra oomph allows the GT Speed to hit 60 miles per hour in 3.5 seconds – 0.1-second quicker than the standard model – and a top speed of 208 mph (335 kmh). But this car undergoes more than just a power increase; Bentley updated the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission to respond quicker and with more aggression, specifically in Sport mode. The retuned gearbox reportedly shifts twice as quickly as the same setup in the standard Conti GT, which helps the GT Speed achieve its quicker 60 time. The suspension and steering underwent thorough reworkings, as well. There's a new Electronic All-Wheel Steering function that improves agility by moving the front and rear wheels in opposite directions at moderate speeds, while all four wheels turn in the same direction at extremely high speeds to improve stability. Combined with a Bentley Dynamic Ride feature – a 48-volt system that reduces the body roll of this 5,011-pound vehicle – and a limited-slip differential, Bentley says this Continental GT Speed is the most agile one to date. Visually, the Continental GT Speed offers subtly more aggressive looks than the normal GT model. The grille, lower bumper air intakes, and side sills wear a Dark Tint finish that helps toughen up the exterior. Chrome "Speed" badging with updated text adorns the front bumper, and 22-inch trim-specific wheels finished in a standard bright silver (with the choice of a dark tint or gloss black) live in the fender arches. Gallery: 2021 Bentley Continental GT Speed 2021 Bentley Continental GT Speed Exterior A similarly aggressive treatment carries over to the cabin, with a unique two-tone leather and Alcantara treatment that covers the seats, steering wheel, and portions of the dash. Buyers can choose from 15 main colors and 11 secondary colors – meaning you can mix and match in many different ways. The center console, meanwhile, sports an optional dark-tinted aluminum insert to match that same treatment on the exterior. And of course, the iconic rotating center display from the base Conti carries over here. The new Bentley Continental GT Speed goes on sale later this year. The company hasn't released pricing information yet, but expect a hefty hike over the traditional GT model with a V8, which starts at $202,500, as well as the W12 model, which costs $218,900.

Germany has extended its lockdown for three weeks, imposing an almost complete halt over the Easter holiday in response to a third wave of coronavirus infections. After talks with regional leaders, Chancellor Angela Merkel said Germany was now in a "very serious" situation. Restrictions will be even tougher from 1-5 April, when most shops will be shut and gatherings will be limited. Meanwhile, France's president wants vaccinations "morning, noon and night". Emmanuel Macron was responding to an increase in intensive care cases and warnings of an "explosion" in hospital admissions. Chart showing the number of doses administered in the UK, US, EU, China and Russia 1px transparent line Why Germany is imposing toughest measures so far "Essentially, we have a new virus," Chancellor Merkel said after marathon talks with the leaders of Germany's 16 states. The highly contagious UK (Kent) variant of coronavirus had become dominant in Germany, she explained, plunging the country into "a new pandemic". It is much deadlier, much more infectious and infectious for much longer. Germany was in a race against time to roll out vaccinations against the coronavirus, she added. Tuesday's lockdown extension to 18 April marks a reversal from earlier this month, when state leaders agreed to begin a cautious reopening process. For five days over Easter from 1 April, Germans are being asked to stay at home and reduce contacts: In-person religious services are cancelled Big family gatherings are banned, with no more than two households, or up to five people, allowed to meet All shops are shut, apart from food shops on Saturday 3 April. The infection rate has risen above 100 per 100,000 inhabitants in Germany. A further 7,485 infections have been reported in the past 24 hours, as well as 250 deaths. An "emergency brake" will halt further reopenings in areas where infections exceed 100 new cases per 100,000 people over a seven-day period. How are European countries tackling the pandemic? Coronavirus infections have been surging in some parts of Europe in recent weeks as countries scramble to vaccinate their po[CENSORED]tions despite delays in rolling out jabs. Chart showing the countries in Europe with the highest average number of cases in the last week. Updated 22 March. 1px transparent line How France is responding France's vaccination drive has been relatively slow to get off the ground, partly due to delayed supplies of the Oxford/Astra-Zeneca vaccine and confusion surrounding the safety of the inoculation. However, the head of the French hospital federation, Frédéric Valletoux, warned on Tuesday that number of new cases was "exploding" and hospitals were likely to be hit in the next two to three weeks by a "wave of unprecedented violence". French hospitals admitted another 471 patients into intensive care in 24 hours, and another 15,792 cases were reported on Monday evening. President Macron, on a visit to the northern town of Valenciennes, said that from Saturday the vaccination campaign would be extended to people aged 70-75. "We're fighting to get hold of doses... there are no weekends or public holidays for vaccinations," he insisted.
