Italy has entered a strict three-day lockdown to try to prevent a surge in Covid-19 cases over Easter. All regions are now in the "red zone" - the highest tier of restrictions - as the country battles a third wave, with about 20,000 new cases a day. Non-essential movement is banned, but people are allowed to share an Easter meal at home with two other adults. Churches are also open, but worshippers are being told to attend services within their own regions. For the second year, Pope Francis will deliver his Easter message to an empty St Peter's Square. Following the holiday weekend, different regions will then remain in either "orange zone" or "red zone" restrictions until the end of the month. Italy's restrictions come as countries across Europe try to control a surge in cases of the virus, while struggling with a delayed vaccine rollout. More than 110,328 people in total have died of the coronavirus in Italy, and there have been 3.6 million confirmed infections. What is the situation in Italy? Just over a year after Italy became the first western nation to be hit by a coronavirus epidemic. In February 2020 people in many northern areas were told to stay at home and the lockdown was later extended to the rest of the country. Free movement was restored in June, but Italy is now facing a third wave of Covid-19. On 1 April, it registered 23,634 new cases and 501 deaths. Under the new lockdown measures, all non-essential shops are closed and cafes and restaurants are running a takeaway-only service. Lockdown in Italy - shopper in Milan IMAGE COPYRIGHTREUTERS image captionAll non-essential shops are shut Red zone restrictions normally mean all non-essential travel is banned, but over the Easter weekend an exception is being made to allow people to visit friends and relatives within their regions for a holiday meal. The Italian government also announced it was placing 70,000 extra police officers on surveillance nationwide, in order to enforce the lockdown rules. "This is not the time to lower our guard, and to let go of that sense of responsibility shown so far," Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese told the newspaper Il Messaggero. "Because the progress recorded by the campaign for vaccines finally gives a glimpse of a different horizon that will allow us to gradually return to normal." What about elsewhere in Europe? On Friday, the World Health Organization (WHO) criticised Europe's "unacceptably slow" vaccine rollout, and said the situation in the region is now worse than it has been for several months. "Vaccines present our best way out of this pandemic... However, the rollout of these vaccines is unacceptably slow," WHO director for Europe Hans Kluge said in a statement. "We must speed up the process by ramping up manufacturing, reducing barriers to administering vaccines, and using every single vial we have in stock, now." In the meantime, as long as vaccine coverage remained low, he said EU countries would have to impose lockdowns and other measures to compensate for the delays. According to the WHO, only 10% of the nearly 900 million people in the region have had a single dose of coronavirus vaccine. French schools to close under third Covid lockdown Germany reverses plans for strict Easter lockdown Europe's vaccine rollout 'unacceptably slow' - WHO Earlier this week France, which is currently facing a peak of about 5,000 people in intensive care, announced it was entering a third national lockdown for at least three weeks. French schools are moving back to remote learning, and all non-essential shops have now closed. People are banned from travelling more than 10km (six miles) from home without good reason. And last month, German officials announced that the country would be placed in a strict Easter lockdown - only to reverse the decision just days later. German Chancellor Angela Merkel called the plan for a lockdown from 1 to 5 April a "mistake", and said she took "ultimate responsibility" for the U-turn.

In contrast with the buy-ditch-replace model most current laptops operate under, San Francisco-based startup Framework announced in late February that it wanted to create a laptop that was truly customizable, largely future-proof, and more eco-friendly. In the following weeks, its revealed more details about how it planned to achieve those goals, and today it announced the new Framework Community devoted to its project. Let's recap the basic specs: Framework's laptop is set to initially feature 11th Gen Intel Core processors and support up to 64GB of DDR4 memory as well as up to 4TB of storage via PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSDs. It's also expected to have a 13.5-inch, 2256 x 1504 resolution display and an aluminum case that weighs less than 2.9 pounds (1.3kg). But the Framework laptop's primary appeal is its ability to reduce electronic waste, partly because it's set to be made from 50% recycled aluminum and up to 30% recycled plastic, and mostly because it's supposed to feature extensive customization that allows many of its components to be replaced individually through swappable modules. The company started to share more information about the Framework laptop's starting parts modules shortly after it was revealed. It started with the keyboard options, which is said to rely on fasteners that can be removed using the included screwdriver, and for which the company plans to sell replacements via the Framework Marketplace after launch. Framework said the keyboard will be available in at least 11 different languages and layouts this year. It also vowed to "continue to scale the options to cover the most common languages first and eventually every language that a keyboard layout exists for, including ones that have never previously been built into a laptop." Framework also plans to launch with two special edition keyboards: a "fully stealthed out matte black" option and a "unique crystal clear" option, neither of which feature any printing at all, which is exactly the kind of gimmick people appreciate until they forget where each key is. At least you'll be able to replace the keyboard easily, yeah? Framework Customizable Laptop (Image credit: Framework) The company then moved on to detailing the laptop's starter webcam, which is a custom 1080p 60fps camera developed in partnership with Partron. Framework said the camera will feature a 1/6" OmniVision OV2740 sensor, a "wide 80° diagonal f/2.0 four element lens" with a "blue glass IR filter," and a Realtek RTS5853 camera controller. All of those features are supposed to allow the camera to perform better in a variety of lighting conditions and at a higher resolution than most laptop webcams, many of which are still limited to 720p and struggle in less-than-ideal lighting. Framework also addressed privacy by including a hardware privacy switch in the camera. Framework Customizable Laptop (Image credit: Framework) Next came the mainboard options. Framework said it plans to offer mainboards equipped with Intel Core i5-1135G7, i7-1165G7, and i7-1185G7 processors to start. Those CPUs will be complemented by a 65 x 5.5mm cooling fan, dual 5mm heat pipes, and a copper fin pack said to enable 28W continuous processor load and up to 60W turbo.

Platforms:PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Stadia, iPhone Developers:ZA/UM Publishers:ZA/UM Release Date:March 30, 2021 Like all good detective stories, what appears simple at first becomes so much more than that in Disco Elysium – and here it gets so, so much weirder, too. It takes the age-old mechanics of tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons and twists them in strange ways around a macabre tale of violence, poverty, and a society on the brink of collapse. Through sharply written dialogue and an expertly crafted world, it uses some unique game mechanics - such as debating against 24 different sections of your own brain - to create a story that will stay with me for a long time. And, somehow, it manages to make all of this fun and, surprisingly often, funny. Now with the addition of a fully voiced cast and even more side quests to embark on, The Final Cut makes an amazing game even better. The premise of Disco Elysium is straightforward: A body has been discovered, hanged from a looming tree in the backyard of a hostel, and it’s up to you to work out how it got there over the course of the 30-hour story. Everything that surrounds this core mystery is far from simple, however, not least being that you kick things off with an almighty dose of hangover-induced amnesia. You can’t even remember your name, let alone that you are a cop on a murder case. A part of your consciousness described as your ancient reptilian brain – which you literally engage in conversation with – attempts to persuade you to give up your quest even as your snivelling limbic system battles against it. As you stumble around your wrecked bedroom searching for remnants of your former self, it quickly becomes clear that this isn’t simply a whodunnit, but a journey that will challenge you to solve crises on both profoundly personal and societal levels. It’s a gorgeously designed isometric RPG that makes you think at every turn of its painterly streets. The first decision you have to make when booting up Disco Elysium is what kind of detective you wish to be: Intelligent (think Sherlock Holmes), Sensitive (think Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks), or Bruiser (think Marv from Sin City). Each determines the base stats for your nameless gumshoe and influences the decisions offered to you from the get-go, but they all offer an interesting way to play. For example, opening with the Intelligent build allows you to instantly decipher that you have woken in the city of Revachol as your high Encyclopedia skill level feeds you that knowledge. Begin with the Sensitive option, however, and you’ll have no idea where you are and will have to piece together that same information. The beauty of Disco Elysium’s skill system is that there’s always a reward for the choices you have made – a Sensitive might not know where he is, but he can start interrogating his necktie for clues. Yes, really. The beauty of Disco Elysium’s skill system is that there’s always a reward for the choices you have made. “ If that isn’t varied enough for you, you can build your own detective from the ground up instead. Your character sheet is made up of four distinct pillars: Intellect, Psyche, Physique, and Motorics. Each of these consists of six wonderfully strange skills (like Intellect’s Encyclopedia), which bring their own bonuses. Want to command respect from a member of the public? Spend points on Authority. How about intimidate a witness? Beef up your Physical Instrument total. Want to talk to that necktie? Start messing with the David Lynch-inspired Inland Empire measurement. These skills aren’t just passive ways of sending you down different paths; each one is a distinct voice in your detective’s head, represented in the dialogue window during conversations. With high Empathy you might get a voice telling you not to push too hard in a victim interrogation, but with high Half Light (a skill that allows your to interrogate suspects with more force) your brain might tell you to just punch them in the face. They’re as much in-game tips as they are a way to gate your progress. You earn another skill point for every 100 XP you gain, collected by checking off tasks from your quest list or by simply having conversations with people and uncovering new information. Leveling up does come fairly infrequently though, so you’ll have to really think about how you want to use them, but it never feels like you’re waiting too long for the next skill point however and feels just about right. Share Autoplay setting: On The upshot of all this skill management is that Disco Elysium plays like no other video game I’ve ever seen. Its closest analogue is perhaps the outstanding Divinity: Original Sin 2, if you replaced all of its turn-based combat with early-era LucasArts point-and-click scenarios. Puzzle-solving comes hand-in-hand with skill checks, which are interactions based on a combination of a dice roll and your stats. The higher your number for the requisite skill, the higher the percentage you have of rolling successfully. This mechanic is used to resolve everything from conversation options to jumps across ledges, and even violence. The upshot of all this skill management is that Disco Elysium plays like no other video game I’ve ever seen. Hold on though: there is no combat in Disco Elysium, not in the traditional sense anyway. Throwing a punch is a matter of willing your detective to do so, and the consequences are usually verbal rather than physical. For the most part, you’re armed with your (sometimes) silver tongue and a roll of the dice. Your choice of dialogue is often crucial to solving problems, not only when interacting with others, but with the many voices occupying your mind. It’s a truly fun way of dealing with exciting sequences and a welcome breath of fresh air compared to more action-oriented RPGs. I actually found talking my way through situations and building out my character sheet in Disco Elysium much more stimulating than the monotony of slicing down enemies with yet another +2 blade. Clothing positively and negatively affects your skills as well, which will be familiar to those acquainted with Bethesda RPGs. By putting on a replica hat worn by fictional detective Dick Mullen you can boost your Encyclopedia score by 1. Quick costume changes can come in handy when faced with a dice roll that looks too difficult at first glance. I once found myself confronted by a mural in an especially seedy part of town which required a substantial amount of Shivers – a skill that lets you “raise the hair on your neck” and “tune into the city” to decipher your environment. My character naturally had a low Shivers stat, but by putting on a pair of fancy shades and changing my jacket I soon had enough to make the percentage likelihood of my roll a tempting 72%. I went for it, got lucky, and swiftly changed back into my preferred getup. Share Autoplay setting: On These are the moments when a little lateral thought is needed, each one serving as a mini-puzzle where you try to build up your stats with what resides in your inventory. You can also boost yourself by consuming alcohol or taking drugs, such as speed. These temporarily boost a whole pillar of your character sheet for an in-game hour, but come at the expense of your health or morale. I never really felt that this came at much of a risk, however, so I ended up consuming narcotics with regularity in order to gain that welcome boost up over the fence. In truth, I never had to play around with my inventory very often and wished I had more reason to do so. I found myself sticking with the same outfit for large portions of the adventure and yearned at times for a bit more challenge. Luckily, Disco Elysium has such a strong central story driving it along that I ultimately didn’t miss the lack of difficulty. Other than increasing your skills, you can also spend points in your Thought Cabinet, a unique mechanic that turns abstract concepts like Communism, memories of favourite flavours, or just mistakenly thinking you’re a rockstar into a kind of mental inventory. It plays beautifully into the theme that half of the battle in Disco Elysium takes place in your mind. By internalizing a thought unlocked along your travels you can earn a variety of rewards attached to it. These vary from stat boosts to XP boosts and unique traits. They can also come with some major downsides, but part of the fun is not knowing what benefits you might get from ruminating on something like the “Volumetric Shit Compactor” for a while. For example, after seven hours gestating one thought called “The Wompty-Dompty Dom Centre”, I received a perk that gave me 10 XP every time I successfully used my Encyclopedia stat in conversation, but also lowered my Suggestion stat by two points because I’m a “pretentious wanker,” according to my own brain. It’s a wonderfully odd system, not least because each time you complete a thought a new and stunningly grotesque illustrative painting fills your screen, echoing Francisco Goya’s “Black Paintings” period – which is to say, they are laden with disturbing imagery reflecting a bleak outlook on humanity. On the Beat Society seems a concept long since forgotten in the city of Revachol, the once-proud capital of the world you wake up in. Martinaise, the district where you’ll spend most of your time, is an impoverished hub of anger and discontent, but it’s a captivating place to be. On the surface, no one appears happy here, perhaps apart from the few who grasp tightly onto power with a greedy fist. It’s a beautifully realised depiction of a firmly ugly place – you instantly get a sense of the world you’ll spend upwards of 30 hours trawling through; snow falls softly onto abandoned vehicles, crumbling, neglected architecture haunts the streets, and broken statues commemorating a long-fabled war serve as a reminder of what happened here. To deduce the stories the city has to tell (and there’s quite a few) you’ll have to be thorough, using all of your character’s faded detecting abilities as they slowly come back to him. Small, coloured information orbs are littered across the environment, inviting you to click on them all to squeeze every drop of knowledge out of the deeply layered world. Not everything will be relevant to your cause, but it will always be interesting. This is testament to the world that developer ZA/UM has created in Disco Elysium – rarely has a place sucked me in quite like the city of Revachol did. It ranks up there with the likes of The Witcher 3’s colourful Continent or Red Dead Redemption 2’s rugged West, despite taking place over a much smaller area. Disco Elysium: 19 Pieces of Concept Art The density of a game’s world can sometimes feel overwhelming, with maps dominated by icons and large areas of land beckoning to be explored. This is never the case with Disco Elysium; there’s lots to do, but it encourages you to take your time and absorb all the information you are being fed at your own pace. Whether you choose to take what you find at face value is for you to decide; You’re a detective, after all. You’ll probably want to click every prompt as well, and it’s hard to miss any due to the extremely useful ability to highlight any clickable item on the screen by holding Tab (something not uncommon to veterans of the adventure genre). Although sometimes deliberately obtuse in its dialogue and the way certain things are worded, crucially Disco Elysium never clouds what you’re meant to be doing. Tasks are clearly listed in the menu with a generous amount of hinting as to what you’re aiming to achieve; it’s an incredibly dense experience with my list of tasks quickly growing, but one I never felt bogged down in. Each new face is accompanied by a gorgeously painted portrait that looks as if it’s been stroked onto a canvas by a hopped-up Francis Bacon. “ Core to this is Disco Elysium’s varied cast of characters and the way their stories intertwine with both your own and that of the world they inhabit. Each new face is accompanied by a gorgeously painted portrait that looks as if it’s been stroked onto a canvas by a hopped-up Francis Bacon. Every one feels fully formed and it’s clear to see from a quick look at their face or a few sentences in their company what their background is. They range from Cuno, a foul-mouthed boy who finds pleasure in throwing rocks at your subject’s suspended corpse (he is, frankly, a little shit) to Evrart Claire, a slimy union boss who looks cut from the same cloth as Jabba the Hutt. It’s rare to meet a kind face in Revachol, which makes it all the more special when you actually find yourself connecting to someone and having a conversation that actually borders on the polite... ---------------------------------------- System Requirments ----------------------------------------- Minimum : CPU: Intel i5-7500 or AMD 1500 equivalent CPU SPEED: Info RAM: 4 GB OS: Windows 7/8/10 VIDEO CARD: Integrated Intel HD620 or equivalent PIXEL SHADER: 5.0 VERTEX SHADER: 5.0 FREE DISK SPACE: 22 GB ------------------------------------------ Recommended : CPU: Intel Core i7 or AMD 1800 equivalent CPU SPEED: Info RAM: 8 GB OS: Windows 7/8/10 VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA Geforce 1060 or equivalent PIXEL SHADER: 5.1 VERTEX SHADER: 5.1 FREE DISK SPACE: 22 GB DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 3072 MB ------------------------------------------- Video Trailer :

There's a lot to like about the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid, but a commission from a Chinese creates an even more luxurious example of the PHEV crossover. The Mulliner division created this unique machine with a special exterior color and custom styling touches. Mulliner's customized Bentayga Hybrid uses the color green as the main styling inspiration. The shade represents purity, regeneration, hope, harmony, and growth in China. Gallery: Bentley Bentayga Hybrid One-Off Bentley Bentayga Hybrid One-Off Front Three-Quarters View 14 Photos This Bentley Bentayga Hybrid's body is the deep shade Viridian green originally from the EXP 10 Speed 6 concept. The paint has flecks of amber and gold in it. In the right light, Bentley says the color has light green and blue undertones. The luxury crossover rides on 22-inch wheels with a machined face and Viridian pockets. Cumbrian Green leather covers the cabin. The piano veneers are a matching color. The passenger side of the dashboard has a diamond-shaped overlapping silver metal overlay. Over 328 feet (100 meters) of bright white stitching covers areas like the door panels and seat backs. A pair of Mulliner-branded, crystal champagne flutes are located in a container in the back, and there's a cooler for keeping a bottle chilled. The recently refreshed Bentayga Hybrid uses a 3.0-liter V6 and electric motor with a total output of 443 horsepower (330 kilowatts) and 516 pound-feet (700 Newton-meters) of torque. It uses a 17.3 kilowatt-hour lithium battery that provides 31 miles (50 kilometers) of zero-emission range in the NEDC cycle. To promote efficient motoring, there's a pressure point in the throttle during EV motoring the identifies the point when the combustion engine would activate. The refresh brought interior tweaks like a revised digital instrument cluster and a 10.9-inch infotainment screen with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This unique Bentayga Hybrid will have a physical debut at the Shanghai Motor Show that will run from April 21 to 28. The Bentley Mulliner Personal Commissioning Guide lets customers like this person in China work with the company to create a more personalized vehicle than what's possible when just ordering from a dealer.

World number two Naomi Osaka's 23-match winning run came to an abrupt end as she lost 6-0 6-4 to Maria Sakkari in the Miami Open quarter-finals. Japan's Osaka was stunned by the Greek 23rd seed's aggressive start, making 12 unforced errors and not landing one winner in a 21-minute opening set. Osaka, 23, hid under a towel as she tried to compose herself and fought back to lead 3-0 in the second set. But Sakkari, from 4-1 down, broke twice to win five games in a row for victory. All of Wednesday's ATP and WTA results at the Miami Open Sakkari, 25, celebrated with a loud roar as she earned the biggest win of her career, triumphantly hugging her team after beating a player ranked in the world's top three for the first time. The world number 25 will play either Canadian eighth seed Bianca Andreescu or unseeded Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo in the last four. "I'm so excited, I'm super happy. I have no words," said Sakkari, who set up the meeting with Osaka after fighting off six match points against American Jessica Pegula in the last 16. "Winning a match like that, where I faced six match points, helped me a lot today. I have made a lot of comebacks and that is probably my trademark." Osaka's defeat means she will not be able to regain the world number one ranking from Australia's Ashleigh Barty, who faces Ukraine's Elina Svitolina in the other semi-final.

A court has been shown new police bodycam footage of George Floyd pleading with officers during his arrest, saying: "I'm not a bad guy." The video comes as the murder trial of ex-officer Derek Chauvin continues for a third day. In it, Mr Floyd is seen begging for police not to harm him. The footage also shows Mr Chauvin with his knee on Mr Floyd's neck for more than nine minutes. Mr Floyd's 2020 death sparked global protests over policing and racism. Mr Chauvin, 45, denies charges of murder and manslaughter. Defence lawyers have indicated they will argue that 46-year-old Mr Floyd died of an overdose and poor health, and the force used was reasonable. Observers of the trial say footage shown of Mr Floyd's actions before and during the arrest may be an attempt by prosecutors to deal with the allegation that drugs played a part in his death. What does the bodycam film show? The court has been shown footage from the body cameras belonging to officers Thomas Lane, J Alexander Kueng and Tou Thao. In Mr Lane's footage, Mr Floyd is seen being confronted by police. He begs them: "Please don't shoot me... I just lost my mom." Mr Floyd is handcuffed and continues to plead with Officers Lane and Kueng, saying he is not resisting them and "will do anything you tell me to". A scuffle occurs when police try to get Mr Floyd into a vehicle, and he starts crying and resisting while saying he is claustrophobic and has anxiety. Mr Chauvin and his partner Mr Thao arrive as the arrest goes on. As the police officers drag him out of the car and restrain him on the ground, Mr Floyd can be heard calling for his mother and telling his family members he loves them. Bystanders begin to shout at officers to check Mr Floyd's pulse and stop restraining him. The last 30 minutes of George Floyd's life The man accused of killing George Floyd The jurors who will decide Derek Chauvin's fate What did witnesses say on Wednesday? Shop employee Christopher Martin, 19, told the court he briefly interacted with Mr Floyd as a customer inside Cup Foods shortly before his arrest. He said Mr Floyd "appeared to be high" because he struggled to respond to a simple question, but he was lucid enough to able to hold a conversation. He described Mr Floyd as "friendly and approachable". In the shop's surveillance video, Mr Floyd can be seen laughing, talking to people, and walking around. Mr Martin told the jury he had sold Mr Floyd a packet of cigarettes, and received a counterfeit note as payment. Mr Martin described knowing the bill was fake by its colour and texture, but added that Mr Floyd "didn't seem to know it was a fake note". He said he had considered letting the shop deduct it from his wages instead of confronting Mr Floyd, but then decided to tell his manager. Another employee went on to call the police. 'I stay up at night apologising to George' Watching the Chauvin trial 'was hurtful' Mr Martin, who witnessed the arrest, said he felt "disbelief and guilt" because "if I'd have just not taken the bill, this could have been avoided". Charles McMillian, 61, was another witness who took the stand on Wednesday. Based on CCTV footage, Mr McMillian appears to have been the first bystander on the scene of Mr Floyd's arrest. He told the court he engaged in conversation with Mr Floyd, urging him to get into the police car. Mr McMillian said he remembers feeling "helpless" seeing the incident unfold. He can be heard on video telling Mr Chauvin: "Your knee on his neck, that's wrong man." As the court was shown footage of the arrest, Mr McMillian began to sob, and the judge called for a brief recess. What else has happened in the trial so far? In opening statements on Monday, Prosecutor Jerry Blackwell told the jury that Mr Chauvin had "betrayed his badge" by kneeling on Mr Floyd's neck, and using "excessive and unreasonable force" to detain him. Meanwhile, Mr Chauvin's lawyer Eric Nelson said the case was about the evidence, not about a "political or social cause". He said Mr Floyd had ingested drugs at the time of his arrest "in an effort to conceal them from the police", and suggested this had contributed to his death. Four young witnesses took to the stand on Tuesday. Darnella - the teenager whose film of Mr Floyd's death sparked global protests - said she "stays up apologising" to him for "not doing more". Bystanders watching the incident unfold on 25 May 2020 IMAGE COPYRIGHTCOURT TV image captionWitnesses: 1. Donald Williams. 2. Darnella. 3. Darnella's cousin. 4. Alissa. 5. Kalen. 6. Genevieve Hansen She told the court she had started filming on her phone because she "saw a man terrified, begging for his life". "It wasn't right - he was in pain," she said. One witness, Donald Williams II, who is trained in mixed martial arts, was questioned for more than an hour by the prosecution and defence on Monday and again on Tuesday. He told the court Mr Chauvin had used a dangerous technique called a "blood choke" and was moving his knee back and forth to increase the pressure on Mr Floyd's back and neck. He rejected defence suggestions that he and other bystanders' interactions with police had been threatening to the officers there.

Intel officially positions its Rocket Lake CPUs as the best CPUs for gaming today, yet like all desktop chips it will inevitably be used for a wide variety of applications. Nonetheless, Asus this week made a surprising move and introduced a small form-factor low-power desktop powered by Intel's latest Rocket Lake CPU. Measuring 175×175×42 mm, the Asus Mini PC PB62 can be equipped with Intel's Rocket Lake processor with up to eight cores as well as a 35W or 65W TDP, up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory, two M.2-2280 SSDs with a PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 x4 interface, and one 2.5-inch HDD. Since the Asus PB62 is even smaller than Apple's Mac Mini, it naturally cannot accommodate a discrete graphics card, so the owner will have to stick to Intel's UHD Graphics based on the Xe architecture. Gaming is arguably Intel's main focus when it comes to its latest Rocket Lake CPUs, but Asus positions its Mini PC PB62 primarily for business and commercial applications, such as office PCs, digital signage, point-of-sales, and vending machines. Asus (Image credit: ASUS) To address different requirements, Asus equipped its Mini PC PB62 with a plethora of connectivity technologies, including Intel's AX201 Wi-Fi 6 + Bluetooth 5 adapter, a GbE port, seven USB Type-A connectors (including USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 3.2 Gen 2), a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, two DisplayPort 1.2 outputs, audio connectors, and one configurable port (HDMI 2.0/VGA/COM/DisplayPort/LAN). Asus (Image credit: ASUS) Depending on exact configuration, the Asus Mini PC PB62 may come equipped with a 90W, 120W, or a 150W external PSU. Asus did not touch upon pricing of the Mini PC PB62.

Top 3 website builder services -Relatively small choice of themes Weebly was first set up with the intention of making it easy to set up a portfolio of work online, and those origins stand it in good stead today, even as it has broadened its horizons to become more of a general website builder. If you don't mind a Weebly subdomain, some ads on your site, and a limit of 500MB storage, you can actually use it for free. While the choice of themes is relatively small, they're all fully customizable, and they all work on any size of screen, automatically reformatting to suit the display dimensions. Weebly has one of the most elegant and user-friendly website editor interfaces we've seen, so you can tweak your portfolio in exactly the way you want. If you want to get up and running quickly, would like to spend some – but not a lot – of time customizing your site, and need something that's going to be reliable and comprehensive, Weebly fits the bill. The fact that you can get started for free to see if you like it is an added bonus.

Email Address Moa birds, the extinct animal from Halo: Reach, have become something of a phenomenon for the Halo franchise, inspiring Pringles and t-shirts, but they won't be featured in Halo Infinite for a very good reason. John Junyszek, the community manager for Halo developer 343, said on Twitter that Moas are native to the planet Reach, so they won't show up in Halo Infinite, which is set on Zeta Halo. Now Playing: Free Halo Multiplayer Is Such A Smart Move "They are native to Reach, so you probably won't be finding any of this portion of Zeta Halo - or perhaps they're missing cause we ate too many Moa Burger Pringles?" he wrote to a fan. Moas, which were made into burgers at restaurants on Reach according to Halo lore, were actually real birds that existed in New Zealand before going extinct. The real birds were never made into burgers in real life, however ... we think. Halo Infinite's setting on Zeta Halo will have other wildlife for players to encounter, but the game is not an RPG, so players won't be hunting and skinning animals for resources. "Halo Infinite's campaign doesn't have a crafting system, however, and you won't spend time hunting and skinning animals to make better gear for Master Chief," Microsoft's Joseph Staten said. "Spartans wear Mjolnir assault armor. They don't need leather boots." Microsoft recently became interested in the Moa birds again for marketing purposes and partnered with Pringles for "Moa Burger" chips, and then later created a special "Have S'Moa Burgers" t-shirt that you can buy. Only modern science can let us distill down the flavor of an extinct bird from a video game into flavor dust. After a year-long delay, Halo Infinite is slated to release this fall for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. We recently learned that Spartan Griffin will appear in the game, while 343 has showcased a brand-new weapon, the Skewer. Halo Infinite's multiplayer will be free-to-play.

Nvidia just released a new Game Ready Driver, version 465.89, earlier this morning. This driver update comes with several new features, plus an assortment of bug fixes and more game support. The highlight of the new driver is the addition of Resizable BAR support on all desktop RTX 30 series products. Before, this technology was limited to just the RTX 3060 12GB, but now it has filtered down to all Ampere products. (Fingers crossed that it will also land on RTX 20 series products in the future, but that might be hoping for too much.) Resizable BAR is a feature built into the PCIe protocol that allows the CPU to access all of a discrete GPU's frame buffer or VRAM, whereas before CPUs were limited to accessing small chunks (256MB) of VRAM at a time. This optimization can improve frame rates in some games by up to 10%, but currently game support is limited as the tech has only recently been adobted by Nvidia, AMD, and Intel. Another feature added to this driver is 'Windows Virtual Machine Beta' support on all of Nvidia's currently supported GPUs. Simply put, this feature allows your physical Nvidia GPU to interface directly with a virtual machine as if the card was directly connected to the VM. This will allow for full GPU acceleration in a VM environment, allowing you to do things like run older video games in say a Windows 7 virtual machine, if the game can't run on a native Windows 10 device. Also coming in this new Game Ready driver are a bunch of updates to game support. Nvidia notes DLSS support for the upcoming Outriders RPG, and an update to Rainbow Six Seige that adds Nvidia's Reflex technology to the game. There's also support for Dirt 5's new ray-tracing update, support for Evil Genius 2: World Domination and Kingdom Hearts. Bug Fixes Here are all the additional bug fixes addressed in this driver update. For the rest of the updates pertaining to this driver, check out Nvidia's blog post here. Pixelated Smoke in Rainbow Six Siege running the Vulkan API. A game crash on RTX 30 series when playing X4 Foundations with the Vulkan API. Blue screen crashes when pairing Samsung's Odyssey G9 with a HDMI TV. Another blue screen crash on the RTX 2060 specifically, when gaming and watching YouTube simultaneously. In Sunset Overdrive, display random green corruption might happen when enabling depth of field. Realtek's DisplayPort to HDMI 2.1 protocol converted clock limited to 600Mhz. GPU power consumption may be high in idle conditions when using some high refresh rate G-SYNC monitors. Screenshots taken with GeForce Experience are washed out when HDR is enabled.

Evil Genius 2: World Domination(PC) Developer: Rebellion Developments Publisher: Rebellion Developments Released: March 30th, 2021 MSRP: $39.99 Evil Genius 2 casts you as one of four masterminds. There’s Maximillion, your typical Ernst Stavro Blofeld kind of dude; Red Ivan, a military dictator sort of boss; Zalika, an aloof, science-minded mad genius; and Emma, who looks like she has a closet full of clothes made out of the hides of children's pets. Each one comes equipped with their own twist on the campaign and a unique doomsday device. You also get to pick from one of three deserted islands, which becomes your soul real estate for the game. No switching up halfway through this time. The plot is much the same as the first one: you’re evil and you’ve got a bone to pick with the world. There is some indication that this takes place after the first game, so I guess your old well of evil dried up and the world got back to business. If at first you don’t succeed… The formula is somewhat the same. It’s largely a management game where you build your base, run human resources for your minions, and enact schemes on the world stage. The base building is key to your plans. The forces of justice will come knocking to ask you to stop being so bad, and a well-maintained base is necessary to keep them at bay. Evil Genius 2 diverges a bit in focus from the first game. With the original, good base building meant keeping up a front: build your innocuous rooms towards the entrance and your important stuff in the back where they can’t get to them. For bonus points, build a hotel so invaders get bored and decide to leave. Here, the cover operation is less important. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still an advantage to building your good stuff in more secure areas - and the casino front is good for repelling bog standard investigators - but some enemies can’t be distracted, aren’t on a timer, or just use the back door. This means you’ll be relying more on placing traps and making sure your henchmen and minions can react to intruders in the most efficient way possible. Screw it up and your hallways will be littered with body bags. Get it right and they won’t make it across your welcome mat. The world stage has been completely redesigned. In the first title, you’d move your pawns onto the territory you want to plunder and then just complete missions or wait while they accumulate wealth, but here you will need to take a more active role. It’s still the place where you complete most of your missions and build your wealth, but they’re all done by accomplishing schemes. Schemes are performed by sacrificing a certain number of minions, intel, and cash, which could be viewed as the game’s three primary currencies. Heat has changed as well. Each territory has its own heat threshold, and all your heat accumulates for whichever of the five factions the territory belongs to. Previously, you’d send out deception minions to hide the presence of your combat minions, but now you have to drain your heat with, what else, schemes. This can make it difficult to monitor your heat levels. This gets worse when special agents hit the field and start cranking up the heat on whatever territory they’re in. You also have to be careful when they’re around; if you accomplish a scheme while they’re on the same territory, they’ll show up on your doorstep to cause trouble. Some of them can lay waste to your minions, so it’s important to figure out when to lay low. It makes the opening of the game far different than the end. You begin as a plucky organization trying to steal as much as possible while remaining invisible. Towards the end, when your tentacles have reached into every crevice, you’ll be free to pick opportunities as they come up. On the whole, it’s a worthwhile overhaul. One of the best improvements is with the side objectives. Throughout the game, while you’re keeping plates spinning both in your base and on the world stage, you’re also able to challenge criminal masterminds for a chance to recruit them as henchmen, frustrate special agents to eventually be rid of them entirely, and gather a range of loot that has different benefits on your base. It’s pretty key in keeping things moving and allowing you to run your empire as it suits you. You can’t take out all your enemies and recruit all the henchmen off the hop, but while you’re working on fine tuning your deathray, you can push things along until eventually you're able to apply the coup de grace. The game does stumble over itself in a few places. The pacing is a bit off, especially when it comes to scientific development. Different advanced minions are unlocked as you proceed through the main objectives, which means tiers of research are locked until you reach that point, and the first recruitment options take a while to present themselves. The last chapter of the game is also a bit of a slog. Without getting into spoiler territory, your secondary objectives are removed and the schemes now require the most advanced of advanced minions and lots of intel. This means that you are sometimes left waiting for minions to be trained to the tippy-top and intel to drop into your UI, and there’s no secondary objective to distract you. So you’re just left tenting your finge rs and watching progress bars fill. Not the best climax. If there’s one major place that Evil Genius 2 improves over the first title, it’s in the way it makes you feel evil. Your most evil acts in the original seemed to happen after the credits rolled, as the goal was to build your doomsday device and that’s it. Here, you get your doomsday device rather early, and much of your time is spent eliminating enemies and causing havoc. The mere fact that you get the option to fire your device whenever you have the fuel available is delightfully satisfying in its own way. It comes across as a diabolical labor of love. The game is obviously made by people who cared for the property, as it conserves everything that was great about the original title while tightening the screws on the old doomsday device. Even without the multiple campaigns, it’s a ridiculously long game. But the fact that I was rarely annoyed or bored, while continuously finding new elements to love, is a testament to how well-executed the sequel is. If the first game wasn’t diabolical enough for you, this one should scratch that evil itch a bit better. Now begone. While the world rebuilds, I must contemplate my next nefarious scheme. Insert maniacal laugh here. The evil genius archetype is one that fascinates me. It’s not that outlandish that an eccentric megalomaniac could gather a group of underlings and launch a campaign against the world, but I can’t convince a courier to leave a package at my doorstep, let alone a legion of faceless goons to lay down their lives for me. I also don’t know what I’d do with the world if I ruled it. Enact permanent daylight savings and mandatory nap times? Forget that, though; what would I make my minions wear? What humiliating nickname would I give my most loyal henchman? How would I mock secret agents? I’d probably invite them to tea and just repeat everything they say. Back in 2004, Evil Genius provided me the chance to live my dream. Kind of. I really enjoyed the game, but it definitely had its problems. Nonetheless, Rebellion has seized the reins and has breathed new life into the property with Evil Genius 2: World Domination. Their approach to a sequel seems to be a complete do-over. The result is another game that may not be for everyone but certainly tightened the screws on the old doomsday device. ----------------------------------- System Requirments ----------------------------------- Minimum : ----------------------------------- CPU: Intel Core i3-8100 RAM: 8 GB OS: Windows 10 VIDEO CARD: GeForce GT 1030 2GB, Radeon RX 550 2GB PIXEL SHADER: 5.1 VERTEX SHADER: 5.1 DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 2048 MB -------------------------------- Recommeneded : -------------------------------- CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K, AMD Ryzen 5 1600 RAM: 8 GB OS: Windows 10 VIDEO CARD: GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB, Radeon RX 5700 8GB PIXEL SHADER: 5.1 VERTEX SHADER: 5.1 DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 6144 MB ----------------------------------- Video Trailer :

As social media networks continue to grow and expand, companies are trying to keep up with trends. Sometimes, that means hiring someone to play with toy guns on TikTok. Hasbro recently announced that it is hiring for a new position titled Chief TikTok Officer. Hasbro recently announced that it is hiring for a new position titled Chief TikTok Officer. (David Paul Morris/Bloomberg via Getty Images) Hasbro recently announced that it is hiring for a new position titled Chief TikTok Officer. Based on the job posting, the job is specifically tied to the Nerf brand of toy guns that shoot foam darts and other foam objects. In the job listing, which says that it was written by "desperate millennials trying to appeal to Gen Z, Hasbro wrote: "It’s the Nerf blaster for me (did we do that right?). In any case, we need your help – because you, yes YOU, can become the next Nerf CTO (Chief TikTok Officer). The Nerf CTO is a big title with some bigger perks – Nerf blasters for uh… research purposes, real money, and bragging rights for three glorious months. If this sounds like a dream, that’s because it is." The official job requirements say that the CTO will be responsible for creating 10 to 12 "approved Nerf related TikTok videos" a month for the official Nerf TikTok account. The CTO will also apparently still be able to post and comment from their own personal account while working as the Nerf CTO. Unlike typical jobs, the application process for this position doesn’t involve filling out a normal application. Instead, potential TikTok officers should "post the perfect Nerf related TikTok video" to their own account and use the hashtag "NerfApplication" between the dates of March 26 and April 2. The job posting does say, however, the finalists will have to go through a formal application and interview process.

If you're a fan of vehicle auctions, you probably had a busy weekend. Barrett-Jackson's COVID-delayed Scottsdale auction took place the week of March 22, and the primetime weekend slots saw some surprising million-dollar sales. The first production Ford Bronco sold for just over $1 million, while the first production GMC Hummer reached $2.5 million. That's some serious coin to claim the first vehicle of many, but it got us thinking about value. It also got folks at Reddit thinking, and admittedly, their line-of-thought was a bit more imaginative than ours. Surely everyone is familiar with the well-worn phrase worth its weight in gold. In short, it's a cliched way of saying something is really valuable, but how valuable of a car are we talking for that phrase to be literally accurate? At gold's current value of $1,713 per ounce, a typical 4,000-pound (1,814-kilogram) vehicle would need a sales price of nearly $110 million. At half the weight, however, that falls to $55 million and we know at least one car that exceeded such a figure. Yup, the Ferrari 250 GTO. Gallery: Ferrari 250 GTO World's Most Expensive Ferrari 250 GTO World's Most Expensive 30 Photos At present, the most expensive publically known vehicle sale was for a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO that changed hands in 2018 for no less than $70 million. Applying the current price of gold to the GTO's 2,094-lb (950 kg) weight, we arrive at a value of $57.4 million – if it was made entirely of gold. So actually, the Ferrari 250 GTO is worth more than its weight in gold, or at least, that particular car was. The most expensive public vehicle auction crown also goes to the GTO, but at $48 million it's a bit less than the value of gold. Still, you get the point. Considering we recently saw a 250 GTO being blissfully exercised on roads and highways in the UK, this bit of trivia offers a new perspective on what it means to see one anywhere in public. And with just 36 GTOs built back in the 1960s, it's likely the value will only continue to increase.

Wales captain Gareth Bale says he would join a boycott of social media if more is not done to combat "toxic" abuse across platforms. Wales players Ben Cabango and Rabbi Matondo were racially abused on Instagram after Wales' 1-0 win over over Mexico on Saturday. Former Arsenal and France striker Thierry Henry has said he is removing himself from social media because of racism and bullying. "Something needs to happen," said Bale. "I think if everyone came together and decided to boycott social media, to make a statement [I would]. "If everybody did it at once, not just one or two people, and if we did a campaign with a lot of big influential people in sport and other forms of life came off social media to make a statement, then yeah, I think it could help. "If that was the case, I would be all for that." Police investigate racist abuse of Wales duo Delete abusers' accounts but educate them - Earnshaw Bale, who is on loan at Tottenham from Real Madrid, has been subjected to abuse on social media for much of his career and tends to stay away from the various platforms as a result. His Wales team-mate Matondo criticised Instagram on Sunday, while the Football Association of Wales (FAW) says it is "disgusted by the racial abuse". Facebook, which owns Instagram, says it has permanently removed the accounts from which the messages were sent and is "committed to doing more". "I've had a lot of bad things said to me on social media, but I'm sure if they [Matondo and Cabango] wanted to come to me for advice they know where they am," said Bale. "We've had a brief chat, I haven't gone into too much details. They've spoken with representatives of the FAW and we know obviously it's in the hands of the police and an ongoing investigation. "From my point of view, I try to stay off it because there's so many toxic people trying to say negative things and put you down. "It's nice to be able to share what we do and how we do things, pictures of training and what we're enjoying doing. "But looking at those comments sometimes it's best to stay away from it, share what you want to share and don't read too much into the comments because there's some horrible people out there."

Traffic has resumed in the Suez Canal after a stranded container ship blocking it for nearly a week was finally freed by salvage crews. Tug boats honked their horns in celebration as the 400m-long (1,300ft) Ever Given was dislodged on Monday with the help of dredgers and tug boats. Hundreds of ships are waiting to pass through the canal which links the Mediterranean to the Red Sea via Egypt. It is one of the world's busiest trade routes. The cost of the Suez Canal blockage How do you refloat a giant cargo ship? In pictures: Efforts to shift huge ship from canal Peter Berdowski, CEO of Dutch salvage company Boskalis, said the Ever Given had been refloated at 15:05 (13:05 GMT) on Monday, "thereby making free passage through the Suez Canal possible again". The Ever Given on the move IMAGE COPYRIGHTREUTERS image captionThe Ever Given on the move on Monday The vessel was towed to Great Bitter Lake, which sits between two sections of the canal to the north of where the ship got stuck. It will undergo safety checks. Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi thanked Egyptians for their efforts in "ending the crisis" in the canal. Presentational grey line A strong sense of achievement By Sally Nabil, BBC Arabic bilingual correspondent, Suez Port Spirits here are quite high. There's a strong sense of achievement. Some experts had warned that it might take weeks to free the Ever Given. But the high tide, as well as the specialist equipment brought in, all helped the rescue operation. Now the authorities will have to address another challenge - congestion. The head of the Suez Canal Authority said that hundreds of stranded vessels would be allowed through the canal on a first-come-first-served basis, though there might be some exceptions to specific ships, based on the types of goods on board. The blockage put the authorities under immense pressure, given the major impact it had on global trade. For Egyptians, the canal is not only a source of national pride, but it also provides the economy with much needed foreign currency. A couple of days ago, I asked Osama Rabie, the head of the Suez Canal Authority, whether he was concerned that some shipping companies might be discouraged from sending such giant ships through the canal in the future. He replied that there was no alternative to the Suez Canal, which he said was fast and safe. So, it's not just about time here, but also about security.

Adafruit's smallest RP2040 board is still coming soon, but in a recent video, Adafruit founder Limor "Ladyada" Fried demonstrated the QT Py 2040, a tiny board powered by the same chip as a Raspberry Pi Pico, using a community Arduino core that enables any RP2040 board to be used with the Arduino IDE. In the video, we get a first look at Adafruit's upcoming QT Py RP2040, which Fried mentions is being readied for sale. The QT Py RP2040 is shown running a simple temperature sensor project, with the board connected to an I2C OLED and temperature sensor via the Stemma QT connector. The QT Py 2040 is compatible with CircuitPython and the Arduino IDE via a community project, Arduino-Pico from Earle F. Philhower, III. Official Arduino support for the RP2040 is still a work in progress, possibly timed to coincide with Arduino's own RP2040 board. Adafruit has three RP2040 boards in their range. From their largest board, the Feather RP2040 which has already been released, to the IstyBitsy RP2040, to the QT Py RP2040, Adafruit has a board for all projects and wallets. Measuring just 22 x 18 mm, the QT Py RP2040 isn't the smallest RP2040 board, that honor goes to Pimoroni's Tiny 2040. But the QT Py packs plenty of features into a diminutive form factor. USB Type C connector RP2040 32-bit Cortex M0+ dual-core running at ~125 MHz @ 3.3V logic and power 264 KB RAM 4 MB SPI FLASH chip for storing files and CircuitPython/MicroPython code storage. No EEPROM Native USB supported by every OS (USB HID) Can be used with Arduino IDE or CircuitPython Built-in RGB NeoPixel LED 13 GPIO pins (11 breakout pads and two QT pads): Four 12 bit ADCs (one more than Pico) Two I2C ports (STEMMA QT and GPIO) SPI and UART peripherals PWM outputs on every IO pin There are 6 GPIO in consecutive order for PIO compatibility 3.3V regulator with 600mA peak output Reset button and Bootloader buttons The pricing and release date for the QT Py RP2040 is still largely unknown, with stock being prepared for their store we can expect an imminent release. At a guess, the price could be between that of a Raspberry Pi Pico ($4) and the Feather RP2040 ($12).

Collaboration tools are meant to encourage and inspire people to work together. When we can easily and effectively connect and share ideas, we are more productive, more creative and happier. But for those who are visually impaired, poorly designed tools will inevitably fall short. That’s why elements such as predictable navigation and other easy-to-use accessibility features are not just nice-to-haves, but altogether necessary. Ideal keyboard and screen reader accessibility elements should be designed from the ground up with input from users who require these features the most. Element-based navigation that delivers a smooth, predictable, and frustration-free user experience eliminates the need for a mouse, and instead relies innovative tabbing and region navigation, as well as robust screen reader compatibility. Here's our list of the best VoIP services right now Check out our list of the best video conferencing services around We've built a list of the best VoIP phones available ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ian Tien is CEO and co-founder of Mattermost Visually impaired accessibility The American Foundation for the Blind estimates that in 2018, there were as many as 32.2 million American adults who reported experiencing vision loss. That vision loss is defined as “individuals who reported that they have trouble seeing, even when wearing glasses or contact lenses, as well as to individuals who reported that they are blind or unable to see at all.” What’s surprising is that in 2021, there are still websites that are not optimally designed for use by these millions of people, making them effectively inaccessible. Inaccessibility is not acceptable – whether we’re talking about websites, enterprise applications, email and other office suites, or collaboration tools. Efficient and intuitive shortcuts Accessibility in collaboration tools is typically enabled via manual navigation shortcuts. But if these shortcuts aren’t efficient simple, efficient, or easy to use, they might as well not exist. There should be as few inputs needed by the user to perform a given action, and the order in navigational action should be carefully designed to match how people typically use the app. Here are three important capabilities that increase accessibility for the visually impaired: Predictable region navigation Predictability is key for visually impaired users, so navigation between the software’s key focus regions works best when it is looped in a continuous order which never changes. For example: Message list region Message input region Right-hand side message list region Right-hand side message input region Team menu region Channel sidebar region Channel header region Search With simple, manual controls, such as pressing F6 (or CTRL+F6 on browser) continuously, users can move between regions quickly and effectively without losing track of where they are in the software. Or, by pressing TAB and SHIFT+TAB, users can move back and forth between elements. The use of highlighting on-screen by a colored outline, by simply pressing Enter or Space, puts elements in focus. Intuitive message navigation Simple navigate through messages can be done using just the arrow keys. For example, by hitting F6 (or CTRL+F6 on browser), a user can enter the message list region, then use UP or DOWN arrow keys to navigate between messages. By pressing TAB, a user can easily navigate through message actions, including replying and reacting.

After previously only offering a vague Spring 2021 window for Rust: Console Edition, the development team at Double Eleven has finally given a firm launch date: May 21. The launch comes after several years of work that were necessary to get it running at a level close to that of its PC counterpart. In fact, the limited specs of the Xbox One and PS4 make it a marvel that it's working at all. In a post on its website, Rust: Console Edition studio Double Eleven--the PC version was made by Facepunch Studios--said it needed to get the game working with 4.5 GB of RAM, despite the PC version having a minimum 10 GB requirement. This required rewriting much of the game in the Unity engine, but it still had extremely long loading times that could hit 45 minutes. Further optimization tricks cut this down to about one minute. "We have got to a level of performance and stability that the majority of our beta testers seem to be happy with, and we are in the background striving to make it better every day!" said community manager Pedro Silva. It took three years to create Rust: Console Edition, and the game will continue receiving new updates alongside the PC version, though these will not be the same updates the other version receives. It will remain a separate experience with its own roadmap and community. Earlier this year, the original PC version of Rust saw a huge surge in po[CENSORED]rity after big-name streamers took an interest in the game. It was the top-streamed game on Twitch for a time, even beating out the behemoth League of Legends.

The Bend Police Department has changed the name of one of its K9s, "Lil' Kim," following a controversy over the fact that it shares a name with Grammy award-winning rapper Lil' Kim, Oregon Public Broadcasting reports. Riccardo Waites, the founder of the Central Oregon Black Leaders Assembly, said in a video Thursday that he met with Bend Police Chief Mike Krantz to express concerns about the dog's name. "It’s a little tiny black dog, K9 dog, that the police call 'Lil' Kim.' If you’re a person of color, or if you’re a fan of Lil' Kim, you know her significance in Hip Hop. You also know that she’s a gangster rapper," he said in the video. "Just to be honest, I don’t want to see Lil' Kim out there biting people of color." TIK TOK FAMOUS POLICE DOG FROM WASHINGTON STATE RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL AFTER SHOOTING Waites went on to say that Chief Krantz agreed to only use the dog's actual name, Kim, in the future. The future of Mercedes-Benz vehicles is almost here, arriving with the all-new 2022 Mercedes EQS. Despite not being the first EQ model to be introduced, the flagship EQS is the first model to be based on the company's modular architecture for luxury and executive-class electric vehicles. As such, designers at Stuttgart were given the liberty to create a totally fresh interior design and experience for the driver and occupants. The cabin's production version is totally different from the EQS Concept, though, so forget that and scroll down to see the bevy of official images provided. The new MBUX Hyperscreen is at the forefront of that design evolution, presented by three large displays under a single scratch-resistant glass that covers the entire dashboard. Of note, the system utilizes eight CPU cores, 24 GB of RAM, and 46.4 GB per second RAM bandwidth. Though not seen in the official images, the base model EQS not equipped with the MBUX Hyperscreen will have a different layout. Common on both, though, is the lack of a transmission tunnel. Beyond the MBUX Hyperscreen, Mercedes said that the EQS is made to be experienced with virtually all human senses, namely visual, auditory, olfactory, and haptic. Yes, olfactory, as the EQS comes with High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter that cleans and filter outside air entering the cabin. As part of the Air-Balance Package, the EQS has active fragrancing as well, which comes with a new fragrance called No.6 Mood Linen. In terms of haptic perception, the MBUX Hyperscreen offers haptic feedback that uses force feedback on both the center and passenger displays. There are also 12 actuators located under the touchscreen surfaces, which can trigger a tangible vibration upon contact. Other elements in the cabin that excite the sense of touch are the materials used and knowing Mercedes, you know what to expect. Obviously, the eyes are among the primary focus of the EQS's interior design. Apart from the visual play on textures, a play on ambient lighting has been employed in the entire cabin. The door panels, on the other hand, are said to be borrowed from the interior design of modern living spaces. Interestingly, the needles on the digital gauges show a laser sword effect. Auditory stimulation starts even before the driver and passengers enter the 2022 EQS, with sounds greeting them as they approach and enter the vehicle. Apart from the 15-speaker Burmester surround sound system, there are two soundscapes that come standard with the vehicle called Silver Waves and Vivid Flux, while driving sounds, which change depending on the driving mode and other dynamic inputs from the driver, are optional and produced by interior speakers. More importantly, the EQS is available with soothing sounds called Forest Glade, Sounds of the Sea, and Summer Rain that can be selected during stop-overs to promote relaxation. In other words, Mercedes wants you to recharge your body as you recharge the EQS's battery. Speaking of charging, while not mentioned in the recent lengthy press release, Mercedes announced before that there will be 500,000 supported Mercedes Me Charge locations worldwide, including over 200,000 of those being in Europe. The EQS will also have a range of over 435 miles (700 kilometers) in the WLTP test. The 2022 Mercedes EQS will be launched in Europe this August. We'll know more details by then, but we know that it will be built alongside the S-Class and Maybach S-Class in the carbon-neutral "Factory 56" at the Sindelfingen plant.

Dillian Whyte kept alive his hopes of a heavyweight world title shot by emphatically gaining revenge over Alexander Povetkin with an impressive knockout win in their rematch. The Briton, 32, showed smart timing from the off in Gibraltar before a decisive attack in the fourth round. A right hand sent Povetkin backwards, another sent him into the ropes and a left hook floored him heavily. He found his feet but was rightly stopped to suffer his third loss. Only Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko had previously beaten Povetkin in 39 fights. Some questioned if Whyte was right to take an immediate rematch after a horrific knockout defeat by the Russian in August but after four well-crafted rounds, BBC Radio 5 Live commentator Mike Costello said his performance would "reverberate" around the heavyweight division. "I am just sad I didn't get it finished in the first round," said Whyte. "He is a tough guy but I felt I could have finished it early. "I want the world title." Relive the action as Whyte dominates Povetkin Ricky Hatton's son Campbell wins on professional debut Revenge, risk and a wait A heavy left hook ended the contest in round four and gave Whyte his 28th win in 30 fights A heavy left hook ended the contest in round four and gave Whyte his 28th win in 30 fights Whyte will likely need to wait some time for a world title shot if Joshua and Tyson Fury - who hold all four major belts between them - finalise the details for two successive bouts. August's loss to the wily and experienced Povetkin ultimately cost Whyte his position in the queue for a title fight and a second defeat would have all but wiped out his status as an elite name in the division. Such was the significance of the bout for his career, late moves were made to switch it to Gibraltar so that Whyte could avoid the disruption of a 10-day quarantine in a Covid-secure UK fight bubble. Private planes were chartered for stakeholders and Povetkin. Whyte stayed on a super yacht close to the fight venue. Those attending from the UK signed up to a handful of Covid-19 tests to make hopes of using the obscure fight base become a reality. Whyte agreed to a cut in his fight purse to deliver the venue switch and when the lights dimmed at the Europa Point Sports Complex he played his part perfectly in front of 500 fans. In a robe sporting 'RIP Hagler' in tribute to the late middleweight 'Marvelous' Marvin Hagler, Whyte bounced on the spot as his ring walk music played, seemingly bristling with energy as the chance to right wrongs drew closer. From the bell he kept Povetkin's fierce power at distance and his rival - who contracted Covid-19 late in 2020 - looked shaky on his legs early on, losing his balance even as punches flew past his head. Whyte crisply landed a jab-right hand combination in the second, and he drove home a well-timed counter right in the third before the fourth saw him ruthlessly strike - the decisive left hook delivered with an arrogance befitting of a final blow. Whyte has admirably taken risk after risk in choosing opponents. It may still be true that his risk in facing Povetkin in August proves costly to his hopes of landing a title shot. For 41-year-old Povetkin, retirement now surely looms while for Whyte there are at least exciting possibilities on the horizon again. The manner of this win shows he is a worthy contender. He has moved on from a brutal setback in the most emphatic way possible. 'Relief and open doors' - what they said... Whyte was keen to help Povetkin as the Russian recovered from the knockdown in his corner and carries a stool for him to sit on Whyte was keen to help Povetkin as the Russian recovered from the knockdown in his corner Promoter Eddie Hearn speaking to Sky Sports: "His world championship dreams were on the line tonight. That was a lot of pressure tonight. Tonight was about getting him back on track. He wasn't going to be denied. "He man-handled Povetkin, he battered him from pillar to post. We are back where we wanted to be. The aim remains the same, for Dillian to have a shot at the world championship." BBC Sport boxing correspondent Mike Costello: "The key emotion for Whyte will be relief because of all those doors being closed if he didn't win this evening, in the way that they have now closed for Povetkin. "This opens up a whole range of opportunities. Yes, he might have to wait for that world title chance but he's used to that. At least now he is back in a position where he can barter on the back of the performance that he's produced tonight. "He is now once again a significant factor in the heavyweight division." Natasha Jonas, first female British Olympic boxer, on BBC Radio 5 Live: "The pressure of needing to win and the expectation weighs differently on different fighters and Dillian proved tonight that he can do it." British trainer Peter Fury on BBC Radio 5 Live: "It was a faultless performance. Povetkin got beat - it wasn't because he was an old man - he got beat fair and square. Whyte has a tremendous left hook, that would have put anyone over."
