Explore, but be ready to fight It pays to explore in Back 4 Blood: you'll find weapons, ammo, and other valuable items. But, be wary of birds. You often see them gathering to feed on corpses, and startling them can bring a flood of Ridden right to your location. Try to be aware of your surroundings at all times and be extra careful when breaking through doors. The noise itself can alert nearby Ridden of your presence, but the real danger is that some of these doors are alarmed, and once triggered, the horde will come right to you. Make sure everyone is healed up and ready to fight before taking the chance. Use your melee attack when carrying items You're going to be reloading your weapon often, which means being vulnerable for a short period. As well as having teammates cover you, you can use your 'bash' melee ability—bound to 'V' by default—while reloading to push enemies away from you. During the campaign, there are also various points that require one of you to carry an item from one location to another. This leaves the carrier vulnerable and unable to fire weapons, but again, the bash ability can help you out here if your teammates are having trouble keeping the Ridden off you. Use the ping system There are plenty of useful items to be found in Back 4 Blood and you can help out teammates by pinging the location of things you find. To ping an item, simply hover your reticule over the item or area to which you want to draw attention and press 'Q'. Keep money back for first aid stations You'll find first aid points located at various points during missions, so it's worth keeping back some extra cash. 400 copper is required on Veteran, though it's possible the amount varies, depending on the difficulty. While pain pills, bandages, and first aid kits are helpful on the run, use first aid stations as much as possible so you can save these consumables for emergencies. These stations also heal trauma damage, so if your character's health is looking a little worse for wear, take advantage of them. Build your deck in order of importance Back 4 Blood uses a card system, which offers you various buffs to stats or abilities. You can customise your deck when playing the campaign, and you'll get to choose from these cards in order. Your first card will always be your starter card, and as all drawn cards persist throughout the campaign, make sure it's a good one. Each time you reach a safe room and complete a mission, you'll get to choose another card from your selection before embarking on the next. Irish author Sally Rooney is at the centre of a controversy after refusing to allow her new book to be translated into Hebrew by an Israeli company. The acclaimed writer said it was in support of calls to boycott Israel over its policies towards the Palestinians. She said it would "be an honour" to have Beautiful World, Where Are You translated into Hebrew by a company which shared her political position. A senior Israeli minister said such boycotts were a form of anti-Semitism. Rooney issued a statement clarifying her action after being accused of refusing to allow her novel to be translated into Hebrew at all. The allegations came after it emerged that she had turned down a bid by Israeli publisher Modan for the rights to translate the book. She said that while she was "very proud" that her two previous novels - Conversations With Friends (2017) and Normal People (2018) - had been translated into Hebrew, "for the moment, I have chosen not to sell these translation rights to an Israeli-based publishing house". Citing a recent report by Human Rights Watch which accused Israel of practising apartheid, Ms Rooney said her decision was in support of the pro-Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which calls for a complete boycott of Israel. She could not, she said, "accept a new contract with an Israeli company that does not publicly distance itself from apartheid and support the UN-sti[CENSORED]ted rights of the Palestinian people. "The Hebrew-language translation rights to my new novel are still available, and if I can find a way to sell these rights that is compliant with the BDS movement's institutional boycott guidelines, I will be very pleased and proud to do so." Apartheid was a policy of racial segregation and discrimination enforced by the white minority government against the black majority in South Africa from 1948 until 1991. Israel has long claimed BDS opposes the country's very existence and is motivated by anti-Semitism. Minimal features don't tackle the root problem Instagram is set to start nudging teenagers to "take a break" from the social media platform, in a small acknowledgement of the psychological impact the Facebook-owned app can have on young people. The app is set to add a number of new features designed to assist negatively-affected users, which Facebook's VP of Global Affairs Nick Clegg said should make "a considerable difference" in an interview on CNN. Clegg clarified that Instagram would "nudge" users to look at different content if they were "looking at the same content over and over again, and it's content which may not be conducive to their well being" – as well as even asking younger users to step away from the platform temporarily where needed. It's something of a turnaround for Facebook, which has now paused its plans for a child-focused version of Instagram, in the wake of whistleblower Frances Haugen – who blew the lid off internal Facebook research around Instagram's impact on teens' mental health, and which wasn't acted on until now. Leaked documents given to The Wall Street Journal cited presentation slides claiming that “Thirty-two percent of teen girls said that when they felt bad about their bodies, Instagram made them feel worse," and that "Teens blame Instagram for increases in the rate of anxiety and depression. This reaction was unprompted and consistent across all groups." That's a sizeable number, and it being Facebook's own research makes it even more damning. Facebook's reckoning While Facebook's prospective nudges could have an impact, they also pale in comparison to the scale of the problem, or the built-in incentives towards 'doomscrolling' endlessly through news feeds – which were designed to use the same 'pull down' mechanic as Las Vegas slot machines. Even asking teens to take a break is limited in its usefulness. The problem is that social media apps are often construed as how we take a break – from our work monitors, our chatting peers, our arguing relatives, the boredom of waiting for a bus. It's a permanently-available distraction, and pushing for teens to 'take a break' now and again, while a necessary step, can't fully counteract this problem by itself. It's similar to advertisements to tell people to stop gambling 'when the fun stops': the addictive nature of something makes even leaving at the point of distress very difficult. Correcting the upwards pricing curve seen in the last few months. During Taiwan's Nanya Technology Corporation's Q3 results presentation last Friday, president Dr. Pei-Ing Lee said he expects DRAM pricing to undergo a downwards correction by year end, compensating from recent DRAM pricing increases on a global level. This stems from the current market and supply chain conditions, which might actually be conspiring towards this predicted decline. Despite demand remaining strong throughout staple DRAM-consuming products (such as general consumer electronics, servers, and smartphones), "We are expecting the DRAM market [to] enter short-term, minor correction in Q4, 21," concluded Lee. The company may, however, be in a particularly vulnerable position when it comes to its ability to sustain higher ASP (Average Selling Price) on its products, due to its focus on speciality DRAM. The company supplies the usual suspects when it comes to DRAM chips - such as the office and enterprise and smartphone sectors; however, its other focuses, namely on automotive, home and entertainment (set-top boxes, IoT, and others) and enterprise (for networking and and infrastructure) have been facing consistent supply issues, which likely led to these remarks from Nanya's president. Nanya Technology Corporation is usually ranked fourth amongst the world's DRAM makers, behind Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron. It doesn't compete at the same level as those manufacturers - Statistica placed its Q1 2021 market-share at a mere 3%, which is well below Samsung's 42%, SK Hynix's 29% and Micron's 23% share of the market. Considering Nanya's market share and its president's expectations, however, it's possible that the big three players will soon find themselves in the same situation. Nanya and its 3% market share certainly have more difficulty in securing materials towards DRAM manufacturing in this market than the three giants it competes with, which would naturally have preference due to their much higher volumes. An incoming DRAM price reduction due to oversupply has already been predicted by industry analysts DRAMeXchange, Gartner, and IDC - so Nanya isn't the only company facing lowered revenues in the face of current events. The new beta release of Rufus takes the hard work out of ISO burning. Rufus is a great tool for burning ISO images so that you can install Windows 11 onto your systems. It works with lots of operating systems, is small, and it does the job efficiently and without fuss. It's a great tool to have in your arsenal. And that was before the latest beta release dropped, which somehow makes it even more useful. The latest Rufus 3.16 beta build (via Computerbase) introduces a new 'Extended' installation mode for Windows 11 that allows you to tweak the install at the ISO burning stage to essentially turn off some of the annoying system requirements for Microsoft's latest OS. Specifically, this Beta allows you to ignore the demand for TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, and the minimum requirement for 8GB of system RAM. Microsoft's demand for TPM 2.0 has been frustrating, as plenty of capable machines don't support it, so easily sidestepping it is a welcome tweak. I'm less convinced that you'll actually want to use Windows 11 on a machine with less than 8GB, but there could be some edge case where it absolutely makes sense. This 'Extended' mode is still in Beta, so you won't find it on the main download page, but rather on the Other versions (GitHub) and Other versions (FossHub) pages instead. Once you've downloaded the beta release, grab the Windows 11 ISO image as normal, and you'll be able to select Extended Windows 11 Installation in the 'Image option' box. That's it. Germans are sitting down for far too long and are experiencing ever more stress in their lives, with the pandemic a significant factor, a long-term study into general health has found. Only one in nine Germans leads an “all-around healthy lifestyle” in which a good diet, enough physical activity, low alcohol and tobacco consumption and low stress are adhered to, according to the DKV Report 2021. That marks a low point since the DKV Report was first conducted back in 2010. Now in its sixth iteration, the report revealed several worrying negative records, said Clemens Muth, head of the health insurance firm DKV. “Germans now spend an average of eight and a half hours sitting down on weekdays – one hour more than in 2018,” said Muth. The report, published on Monday, found that the move to home office during the pandemic had worsened the habit of sitting down too much. and they’ve become even more sluggish,” said Ingo Froböse of the Cologne Sports University, one of the authors of the report. Froböse concluded that Germans were living more unhealthily than at any time since the first report in 2010, with around 60 percent failing to find ways to reduce or balance out stress. Microsoft recommends only installing Windows 11 after its PC Health Check check gives your system a pass, and that requires it to support TPM 2.0 and a strict list of compatible processors. But if your PC doesn't meet the criteria, Microsoft has identified two ways to bypass some of those hard checks—though you may not be entitled to Windows updates if you do so, including critical security updates. Students around campus have found many ways to work out in their busy schedules. Some physical activities can be more strenuous than others, but they all have the same common goal: taking the stress away from school. “It helps me clear my mind and focus on what I am doing at the moment,” Athens, Ohio, senior Lindsay Zatta said. Zatta recently joined an organization called Gain at Baylor. The program is an all-women’s group that tries out new gyms every week. Zatta said that they have tried D1, Rush Cycle and Duality and that they will be going to Crunch Fitness this week. “We get to try out all the gyms for free essentially and get to bounce around Waco and see what workouts work for us,” Zatta said. Out of all the locations she has worked out at, Zatta said that Duality was her favorite because it involved yoga and made her feel the most relaxed. Zatta said she enjoys hot yoga because it helps her burn more calories while being in a tranquil state of mind. “It’s a different form of working out without the stress of competing,” Zatta said. “It’s taking the time to reflect on your day and to reflect on your body and just enjoy the process and take it in.” While other students enjoy going to the McLane Student Life Center (SLC) to work out, Axtel junior Logan McCowan said he is able to stay on task while getting his physical activity in by following an organized workout plan. “I use an app called Playbook, and it has full workouts for $15 a month,” McCowan said. “It usually takes about an hour per workout, and they time it for you, so you stay on task.” McCowan said his workout plan focuses on the lifting aspect of his workout, and for cardio, he does rugby twice a week. He said he tries to keep the same schedule to stay consistent and live a healthy lifestyle. “I’m bettering myself and my health when I am working out,” McCowan said. Hastings, Minn., senior Kathrin Notch said she enjoys sand volleyball at the SLC and looks forward to playing every Tuesday and Thursday night. Plenty of car companies could lay claim to creating the small SUV class, but Toyota has some pretty strong credentials. The original RAV4 arrived in 1994, and it was one of the first cars of the era to deliver rugged styling and practicality in a relatively compact package. It was a hit for Toyota, but over time the RAV4 has grown in size, so Toyota has bolstered its SUV range to compensate. First it introduced the C-HR as a smaller alternative, but with the explosion in po[CENSORED]rity of supermini-based SUVs, the company needed another model on its books. Enter the Toyota Yaris Cross, which has just gone on sale. The new model shares more than just a name with Toyota’s award-winning supermini, because its platform and running gear are identical, too. That means hybrid drive is standard, which should help it to deliver low everyday running costs. With petrol-electric power central to its appeal, the Yaris Cross offers something different in the small SUV class, but it’s not a unique format in the sector. While the Kia Niro now comes with electric or plug-in power, it arrived as a hybrid in 2016. Constant development has refined and improved it over the years, but does it do enough to show hybrid specialist Toyota the way? There’s only one way to find out. The Yaris Cross is the smallest model in Toyota’s SUV line-up. It slots below the C-HR, starts from £22,515 and is around £3,000 more, model for model, than the Yaris supermini. There’s a modest 116bhp on offer, but that’s adequate for a model such as this.On the outside, the Yaris Cross foregoes the supermini’s curves for a chunkier look. It rides 30mm higher than the supermini, and the off-road appearance is further emphasised by the gaps between the wheels and the arches. There are the usual additions of black plastic cladding and silver roof rails, while Design trim comes with chunky-looking 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Our car’s Urban Blue paint is a £250 option, while higher-spec versions can be had with a contrasting black roof. Inside, there are clear similarities between the Yaris and Yaris Cross. The dashboard is pretty much identical, with the same switchgear, steering wheel, air vents and touchscreen infotainment system in place. Realme GT series will be the first smartphones from the company to receive Realme UI 3.0, based on Android 12, which has also been confirmed to launch in India soon. Other smartphones will soon receive the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 update. The new OS will also be releasing soon globally, and was announced a couple of weeks ago. The company, however, doesn't specify the exact date of the launch of Realme UI 3.0.Realme's latest flavour of Android — Realme UI 3.0 that is based on Android 12 — has been confirmed to launch soon. The company also mentions that the Realme GT series will be among the first to receive the stable version of the new Realme UI. Other Realme smartphones are said to follow suit soon. In its first big move to expand into a software company, General Motors is introducing a new software platform it created called Ultifi. The automaker will begin putting Ultifi (all-tee-fy) on some internal combustion and electric vehicles starting with the 2023 model year with the hope that it helps boost consumer loyalty to GM cars and opens up new channels to revenue beyond car sales. "Ultifi is a big, big step in our software strategy," Scott Miller, GM's vice president of software-defined vehicles said Wednesday. "Today, cars are enabled by software, with Ultifi, cars will be defined by it." Last week, Alan Wexler, GM's senior vice president of innovation and growth, announced that GM has a new business model that extends beyond the hardware of building cars, to becoming a software platform innovator. Wexler said GM's vehicles will merely be a platform to deliver GM-developed software to offer consumers services beyond driving. Those services can then be used in their homes and other areas of their lives. Wexler called GM's new business model, "a potential game-changer for delivering subscription services that create recurring revenue." Ultifi is the first step in GM's new business model, Miller said. It builds on GM's current vehicle intelligence platform (VIP). Think of VIP as a smartphone and Ultifi as the operating system that provides the functions. Ultifi holds the potential for more cloud-based services, faster software development and new ways GM can increase customer loyalty. "At our core, we're going to make great cars, trucks and vehicles," Miller said. "What we're talking about is adding a platform with Ultifi. (Customers) will love it when they buy it, but they'll love it even longer as it gets better. When the next new thing comes out they can add it to their vehicle and not have to go buy a new car so this improves the relationship with them." Similar to software on a smartphone, Ultifi can provide regular updates and let customers choose from a variety of over-the-air upgrades, personalization options and apps. For example, imagine a camera inside your car that recognizes your face and starts the engine for you. Or, the camera can detect if there's a child in the back seat. Miller said those services would not be subscription. Another example would be a weather forecast with the ability to close a vehicle's windows if it's parked in an area where it's expect to rain, Miller said. Or an alert that warns drivers of specific icy spots on roads.GM will open Ultifi up to allow third-party developers to create content for it and there will be the chance to add subscription offerings, for added revenue for GM. But Miller declined to say how much revenue GM expects it will generate. A GM spokesman said the automaker will discuss revenue in more depth next week, most likely at its Investor Day on Oct. 6.But Miller said GM will work out a revenue sharing formula with third-party software providers, noting, "They're not going to come to our platform for free, but we're not going to give up our platform for free either, so that's a solvable issue we'll address in the future."A customer will buy a car with Ultifi on it and then choose various plans with it or levels in terms of the number of upgrades they will get, the kinds of services and software or apps they want to access. "The key thing about Ultifi is we like to call it continuous integration," Miller said. "We're separating the software from the hardware so we can continuously upgrade apps. It will allow us to be very agile and constantly learn how to make it better."

Similar to our Gotham Knights prediction, if this title follows the release date of the other Batman Arkham games, it’s likely to launch sometime in Q2 or Q3 2022. There’s no word on cross-play functionality as of yet, so stay tuned for that before you decide which platform to buy. In a deal with AT&T and Discovery, WB Games are set to be split up between AT&T and a joint company between WarnerMedia and Discovery. It's unclear how this will affect Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League' release date and plans with the game.
