While Intel's Tiger Lake architecture is still several months to a year away from launch, mylaptopguide.com has leaked specifications for an upcoming Asus Zephyrus notebook, which will include Intel's future chips. The laptop will be called the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE GX 551Q (try saying that five times in a row) and equipped with an 11th Gen Tiger Lake Core i7-11370H along with an unknown discrete GPU. (It could be a mobile Ampere GPU.) The Core i7 11370H will be a quad-core hyperthreaded CPU with a boost frequency of 4.8Ghz. While it is strange to see a Core i7 "H" processor only featuring four cores, the new willow cove microarchitecture (powering Tiger Lake) should achieve much higher core frequencies at a lower power consumption (hence the very high boost clocks). We'll have to wait and see if going with fewer but much faster cores will make this chip competitive enough against Intel's 10th Gen Hexacore CPUs and AMD's mobile Ryzen processors in the gaming space. AMD pulled this off with the Ryzen 3 3300X in the desktop-gaming-arena, so there is a chance the 11370H can do the same for gaming notebooks. We don't know much about the laptop itself, but it should be similar to the current Zephyrus Duo with a dual-screen design; One main screen and another smaller display just above the keyboard. Mylaptopguide believes this Zephyrus model will be equipped with an Adobe RGB color validated display, like its older brother, which should make content creation and photo editing a good experience on the GX 551Q.

The teaser trailer for Mass Effect 5 – or whatever it ends up being called – answered some questions while raising many more. One thing that stood out to many fans is that we see multiple galaxies in the opening of the trailer, which seemed to hint that the new game would follow up on both Mass Effect 3 and Andromeda. Now, BioWare is stoking the fires of speculation directly. In response to fans on social media speculating that this would be a single sequel to both games based on the multi-galactic intro, project director Mike Gamble tweets that the presence of two galaxies there was very much “intentional”. He follows up to say “Who knows. Maybe not? But we show both for a reason.” Gamble is certainly encouraging fans to keep up the speculation, but it looks like we’re going to have a long wait ahead for answers. In a blog post, BioWare says that “we’ve got a long runway ahead of us before we’ll be ready to show you more”, and given how much time has passed since the new Dragon Age made its debut, you should probably take that warning very seriously. Gamble has also spent the hours since launch highlighting some of the Mass Effect trilogy veterans who have returned to the studio for the upcoming game, as PC Gamer notes. For now, keep watching the trailer below. These 103 seconds are going to have to sustain you for a long, long time. In the meantime, there are plenty of other RPG games to keep you company.

When the 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor debuted, the company said the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 would be the only engine available. New information suggests that's not going to change. The folks at The Drive wanted to know whether there was anything mechanical preventing the Tremor from accepting other engines available in the F-150. "No, not mechanical. More simplifying," the company indicated. Gallery: 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor : "Simplifying" refers to the efficiency of only building the Tremor with a single powertrain. Building a certain trim level gets more complicated as you add more options, particularly complicated things like powertrains. Offering the Tremor with a single setup does that. From a product-planning perspective, offering the Tremor only in a very specific way makes sure that it doesn't step on the toes of the 2021 Raptor, which we know is on the way. The company has to make sure they're different enough to garner a profitable amount of customers for both trucks. The Tremor occupies a spot in the F-150 lineup between the mildly rugged FX4 package and more aggressive Raptor. It features a revised look that includes a boxy grille and new rear bumper with cutouts for the dual exhausts. Mechanically, the Tremor has an overhauled suspension with new shocks and extra ride height. A limited-slip differential is standard at the rear and optional at the front. The high series equipment group even gets buyers a torque-on-demand transfer case like on the Raptor that has both four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive depending on the setting that the driver selects. Ford didn't offer pricing for the Tremor in the announcement. It doesn't arrive until Summer 2021, though, so there's lots of time to find out.

We knew it wouldn't be long before the Raspberry Pi 400 mods started rolling in. Today we're sharing this awesome 3D-printed creation from a maker on Reddit known as Jwktje. The project uses a custom-designed, 3D-printed asset created by Jwktje to mount a screen to the Raspberry Pi 400. The coolest part? The screen doesn't even use the HDMI port—it's connected using the GPIO pins. According to Jwktje, the screen used is a Pimoroni Hyperpixel touchscreen which eliminates the need for a mouse. It's designed specifically to mount to the Raspberry Pi 400. Jwktje commented that they often store the Pi 400 with the screen attached but you can also remove it between uses. If you'd like to print this mod for yourself, download the STL files published by Jwktje on Thingiverse. Visit the full thread on Reddit for more details and pictures of the final design. If you want to see more cool creations, check out our list of Best Raspberry Pi projects and see what the community has been up to this month.

Thanks to a talented modder, Cyberpunk-obsessed drivers have been able to zoom around Forza Horizon 4 in Johnny Silverhand’s 1977 Porsche 911 Turbo (or at least a close facsimile). Now there’s another dose of CD Projekt Red’s dystopian RPG game available in Forza: V’s iconic sportscar, the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech. The vehicle is now available as a reward for completing a new Street Scene event in Edinburgh called _:NIGHTCITY.EXE:_, which you’ll find on your world map the next time you load the racing game. You’ll have to beat a driver who’s running the Quadra around a city course full of roundabouts and narrow streets, and you’ll be using an S1-class car to do it. We recommend something with all-wheel drive, since the race takes place on a rainy night. Finish first, and you’ll unlock the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech that’s been featured in loads of Cyberpunk 2077‘s promotional material, and that you’ll no doubt have driven around a bit in Night City if you’ve started on your journey through the open-world game. Here’s the location of the race, in case you need directions: The Quadra’s a beaut, by the way. The fat rear tyres grip the road ferociously, and the future-tech powering the beast doesn’t get in the way of giving it a nice, throaty growl.

Deliveries of the 2021 Ford F-150 are now underway, and the company is experiencing huge demand for the newly refreshed pickup. Dealers have orders piling up for the truck, and in some cases, showrooms are selling them within hours of the car carrier's arrival, according to The Detroit Free Press. The early success comes despite Ford delaying the 2021 F-150's introduction. The company pushed things back because of obstacles surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Gallery: 2021 Ford F-150 : "I think Ford is positioned to do well with the F-150 and the current arrival time," Karl Brauer, executive analyst at iSeeCars.com, told The Detroit Free Press. "No matter when it would've arrived, it would’ve been pretty readily embraced. Would’ve been great if they were out sooner because they could’ve sold more." Brauer also speculates that the tumultuous times in 2020 with things like the coronavirus and presidential election might help to stoke demand for the updated F-150. "When people are nervous, they tend to want things that are more flexible, rugged, durable. Trucks have benefited from that," he told The Detroit Free Press. While finding customers for the new F-150 isn't a problem so far, Ford is casting as wide of a net as possible to find buyers by already offering incentives on the pickup. So far, the company has had deals like no payments until 2021 and a variety of rebates available to buyers. Patient buyers can wait until Summer 2021 for the arrival of the more rugged F-150 Tremor that adds off-road gear without the extensive upgrades you'd get from a Raptor. There's an upgraded suspension with increased travel, locking differentials for both axles, and 33-inch all-terrain tires. Buyers have to specify the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 to get the package.

To bolster trust and security in online transactions, the Linux Foundation (LF) has announced a new cloud-native identity and access management project. In a press release, LF argues that online trust is essential to a digital society and with the new initiative it “seeks to tackle the most challenging security and performance requirements.” The project, christened Janssen, is based on the well-known open source access management platform, Gluu server, and inherits its set of signing and encryption features. Fast and scalable The Gluu Server has passed more OpenID self-certification tests than any other platform, according to the release. With the help of auto-scaling features of Kubernetes, together with advances in persistence, LF assures that Janssen can handle demanding requirements for concurrency. Its assurance is based on the fact that the Gluu server processed over a billion transactions in a day earlier this year. “In the world of software, nothing builds trust like the open source development methodology,” said Mike Schwartz, Chair of the Janssen Project Technical Steering Committee and CEO of Gluu, adding that “the Janssen Project strives to bring transparency, best practices and collective governance to the long-term maintenance of this important effort.” The development of the Jenssen project is overseen by a Technical Steering Committee that has engineers from several identity management and security organizations including Gluu, BioID, Idemia, and F5 as well as from the NoSQL database, Couchbase.

PowerColor has unveiled its first custom Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card. The Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT uses a proprietary printed circuit board (PCB) design with enhanced power delivery as well as a massive cooling system to maximize overclocking potential. The Limited Edition version of the board will also come with a USB Type-C output. The PowerColor AMD Red Devil Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card carries AMD's Navi 21 XT graphics processor in its maximum configuration with 5120 stream processors that run at up 2340 MHz (up from 2250 MHz on reference boards), accompanied by 16GB of GDDR6 memory that delivers 512 GB/s of bandwidth. Gamers and PC performance enthusiasts expect custom graphics cards to feature a no-compromise PCB design and a beefy cooling system that enables great overclocking potential. But bringing the additional overclocking potential to the 'Biggest Navi' RX 6900 XT is somewhat tricky because AMD's reference PCBs already feature a 14+2-phase voltage regulating module (VRM). Increasing the number of phases may not necessarily result in a tangible VRM performance improvement, but it will certainly lead to a significantly more complex PCB design and higher costs. With its Red Devil Radeon RX 6900 XT, Power Color continued to use a VRM with a 14+2-phase VRM, but installed what it claims to be 'the industry's best DrMos as well as high polymer capacitors' to strengthen it and ensure cleaner and more stable power delivery to the GPU. The company also completely re-architected the power circuity in a bid to feed the card with up to 525 Watts of power from a combination of the PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and three 8-pin auxiliary PCIe power connectors, therefore maximizing its overclocking potential. To cool down the Radeon RX 6900 XT despite the enhanced power delivery, PowerColor uses the same monstrous triple-slot cooling system with a nickel-plated copper base and three 8-mm and four 6-mm heat pipes it uses for the Red Devil Radeon RX 6800/6800 XT products. To make the board look truly devilish, it also has controllable RGB lighting. In fact, given the similarities between the three Big Navi-based Red Devils, it seems that PowerColor uses the same PCB design and coolers for all of these cards, but obviously flashes different versions of firmware. Meanwhile, only the RX 6900 XT model has three power connectors. PowerColor will offer two versions of its Red Devil Radeon RX 6900 XT: the vanilla AXRX 6900XT 16GBD6-3DHE/OC and the AXRX 6900XT 16GBD6-2DHCE/OC Limited Edition. The default board will feature three DisplayPort 1.4 outputs and two HDMI connectors, whereas the LE card will have a USB-C port instead of one DP 1.4 and a bundled Red Devil keycap for mechanical keyboards. PowerColor said that sales of its Red Devil Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics cards would start on December 17 but failed to mention the price. Hopefully, it will not be in a devilishly red zone.

Over the course of the year, the Epic Games Store offers a whole bunch of free PC games, rotating offerings pretty much every week that you can grab for the low, low price of nothing. This week’s (now live) gratis titles are two Obsidian RPG games, and at this point in the week we usually discover the next treats in store for the week following. However, this week Epic’s site teases the next treat is a “mystery game”. Well, actually, a whole series of free mystery games. As you can see on the Epic Games Store, there’s a timer counting down to an unlock of the platform’s next free offering rather than a game name. Sadly, it’s still just under seven away as of the time of writing, so it look like we’re not in for a freebie today. However, click through and Epic announces: “We’re getting ready for the season of giving with our most festive sale of the year!” Alongside announcing the Epic Games Store sale kicks off on December 17, the company reveals that, also starting on that same day, it’ll “be giving away a new game each day for two weeks straight – that’s right, it’s 15 days of free games!” It’s worth noting that each of the free goodies will only be free to claim for a period of 24 hours, but they will be yours to hang on to for good once you’ve scooped them up So, for now you’ll need to enjoy the two new RPGs up for grabs for zero dollars this week, and wait until December 17 to see what’ll be free to unwrap on the store next. In the meantime, we’ve got some handy lists of free MMOs and MMORPGs and free Steam games you can dive into if you’re on the lookout for some pointers.

The 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali will be available with General Motors' Super Cruise system late during that model year. It'll be the latest version of the tech that will allow for towing a trailer while driving hands free. Getting Super Cruise apparently equips the Sierra 1500 with a new digital instrument cluster. This replaces the analog instruments on each side of the existing layout. The steering wheel is also different to add the Super Cruise indicator at the top of the rim. GMC is not currently saying what the Super Cruise system costs on Sierra 1500 Denali. On Cadillac models, buyers get three years of functionality. After that, there's a $25 per month charge for the service. If someone doesn't pay for it, then they lose the ability to use Super Cruise, but other safety tech continues to operate, like adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist. Cadillac expanded the availability of Super Cruise to the CT4, CT6, and Escalade for the 2021 model year. The Bolt EUV is the first vehicle from the Bowtie brand to get the system, and it begins production in summer 2021, pointing to sales starting for the 2022 model year. GM intends to offer the tech on 22 models by 2023. The Super Cruise system has not been stagnant since its introduction. GM is gradually increasing the roads where owners can use the system, and there are now more than 200,000 miles of supported streets. As of the 2021 model year vehicles, the tech gains the ability to perform automatic lane changes by moving the turn signal. GM is reportedly working on an even more sophisticated driver-assistance system that would likely go under the name Ultra Cruise. There aren't many details yet about the tech, yet, but it would probably be a closer competitor against Tesla Autopilot.

With the release of the latest version of Python, the po[CENSORED]r language now officially supports the M1-powered machines. Apple announced its plans to submit patches to enable Python 3 to build natively on Apple Silicon back in August. The new M1-powered machines have impressed everyone with their performance, and Python developers have been wanting a piece of the pie. Experimental installer : Python v3.9.1 becomes the first version of the language to support macOS 11 Big Sur. The developers note that the release is made possible thanks to Xcode 11, using which they can build Universal 2 binaries that work on Apple Silicon. You can now use the new macos11.0 installer to install Python on Big Sur running atop the new M1-powered Macs. “This installer can be deployed back to older versions, tested down to OS X 10.9,” wrote the developers in the release announcement, adding that the installer should be considered “experimental”. Enumerating the changes in the detailed release notes, the developers write that “As of 3.9.1, Python now fully supports building and running on macOS 11.0 (Big Sur) and on Apple Silicon Macs (based on the ARM64 architecture).” While this is a positive development, it’s just the first step before Python developers and data scientists can subject their new Apple MacBooks to serious workloads. There is still no information about the availability of image processing and data science extensions of the Python core on the M1. But if Apple’s TensorFlow fork is anything to go by, then it’ll just be a matter of time before we have M1 optimized versions of the critical data science libraries.

Picking up one of the best gaming headsets is important if you want to experience all a game has to offer, but it’s especially essential for competitive gaming where every sound matters. If you don’t have a quality set of speakers, how do you expect to pick up your enemy’s footsteps in FPS games like Rainbow Six Siege and CS:GO? And don’t get us started on keeping teammate comms clear with a high quality microphone. Razer’s wired Kraken headset has been a po[CENSORED]r choice for a number of years and is a great buy, particularly with a hefty discount like this. Better yet, if you buy now, you’ll still get the pair of cans before Christmas, whether it’s intended as a gift or as a well-earned upgrade for beating 2020. Over on Amazon US, you can currently get the Kraken gaming headset in Razer’s signature green for $64.99, which shaves 19% ($15) off its original price. And if, much like Bruce Wayne, you’re wondering if it comes in black, it sure does – and at the same discount. That being said, adding a splash of blue brings things down 25% ($20) to $59.99, so there is that. Across the pond, you’re better sticking with the green model if you want the best savings, as a chunky 48% (£38) has been lopped off, meaning you’ll pay just £41.99 on Amazon UK. The headset is constructed around a lightweight aluminium frame, with a nice thick headband, and the ear cushions have cooling gel – all of which should add up to a comfortable experience even when wearing the Kraken for long periods. The sound comes courtesy of custom-tuned 50mm drivers with decent bass response, which can be experienced on pretty much any platform thanks to its versatile connectivity. Since the Kraken uses a 3.5mm audio jack with in-line audio controls, it doesn’t matter whether you want to play on PC, console, or catch up with someone over a phone call – although you might need a USB C to 3.5mm adapter for the latter nowadays. If you’re going to steal stuff, it might as well be from a big-time drug trafficker who spends his off-duty hours organising vacuous beach dance parties, right? That’s what you’ll be doing in The Cayo Perico Heist, the biggest-ever Grand Theft Auto Online adventure that’s due out December 15. A new trailer is out today that shows off some of the sheer scale of this new caper. The backdrop for the multiplayer game’s heist is of course the island of Cayo Perico itself, which is home to El Rubio – a global-scale narcotics trafficker with ties to the Madrazo family. El Rubio also likes to throw Fyre Festival style dance parties, flying in jet setters and influencers from around the world to groove to music by talented musicians and DJs. Unlike the Fyre Festival, however, El Rubio actually has the finances to make this work, and that’s what you’ll be after in this adventure. There’s an “untold fortunet in art, gold, and drug money scattered across the island”, Rockstar says, and it’s protected by heavily armed guards and advanced security systems. Here’s the trailer: Fortunately, a high-profile score like this demands the biggest and baddest in heist technology, and at your disposal is an actual submarine equipped with torpedoes and surface-to-air guided missiles, the better to knock pesky helicopters out of the sky. You’ll be able to play The Cayo Perico Heist when it launches December 15.

In a recent interview with Top Gear Pininfarina boss, Rene Wollmann, weighs in on the future of speed. With their 1,900 horsepower Battista electric hypercar on the way, Pinnifarnia is ready to unveil a vehicle capable of unfathomable performance which begs the question will it be too fast? The Pininfarina team is currently testing their Battista EV hypercar at the Nardo testing center in Italy as it readies for customer deliveries in 2021. Wollmann explained to Top gear that the Pininfarina team has quite a schedule, “Right now we’re doing final design validation, and calibration of the systems. Right now we’re freezing our damper, spring and anti-roll bar settings, and fine-tuning those in the wind-tunnel and simulator. After we’ve done that in the next couple of weeks we jump into calibration, which is a big playground for engineers. We’ll be playing with drive modes, torque vectoring, and even the HMI inside.” Wollmann is quick to point out that the Battista isn’t focused on laying down lap times but rather delivering driving pleasure. Wollmann explained to Top Gear, “We’re not necessarily chasing a lap time, this is not what the car is for. This is more of a hyper-GT – good behavior on curved roads. If you tune a car for sport not comfort, like some of the ‘track tools’ out there, then they can get quite bumpy.” Although COVID-19 has had a huge impact across the globe Wollmann was confident when confirming the timeline to Top Gear, “We changed the plan because of the news changing, but overall the delay caused to us was not as bad as some of the delays COVID has brought to the world.” The Battista is part of an exciting future of electric performance cars and we look forward to seeing this exciting machine in action very soon.

BlackBerry and Amazon on Tuesday announced an alliance to create a cloud computing platform that cars could link to for services and insights based on data from vehicles and users.. Word of plans for an Intelligent Vehicle Data Platform called "IVY" synching cars wirelessly to computing power at Amazon Web Services caused shares in Canada-based company to rev more than 50 percent to nearly nine dollars. "BlackBerry and AWS share a common vision to provide automakers and developers with better insights so that they can deliver new services to consumers," BlackBerry chief executive John Chen said in a joint release. IVY is intended to be a cloud-connected software platform that could be used by any car maker to analyze sensor data in real-time and give drivers useful information. Modern cars and trucks are built with thousands of parts from an array of suppliers, typically with proprietary hardware and software involved, the companies noted. The vision is for the platform to quickly make sense of all that data for drivers, while also serving as a platform for additional apps or services from developers. Car makers have "almost zero software skills," and IVY promises to be a secure, cost-effective platform for them to tap into cloud computing power, Global Equities Research analyst Trip Chowdhry said in a note to investors. The jointly operated software will run on car or truck systems, but will be managed remotely from the cloud, according to Amazon. Examples of potential capabilities included IVY spotting dangerous road conditions such as ice or heavy traffic and prompt drivers to take safety measures. Drivers of electric vehicles could share battery information with charging networks to reserve charging slots along routes, and parents could get sensor data regarding their teen-agers' driving, the companies said, "AWS and BlackBerry are making it possible for any automaker to continuously reinvent the customer experience and transform vehicles from fixed pieces of technology into systems that can grow and adapt with a user's needs and preferences," said AWS chief executive Andy Jassy. BlackBerry has shifted gears to concentrate on software and services since being dethroned in the mobile phone market more than a decade ago by touchscreen phones powered by Apple or Android software. The BlackBerry keyboard is to live on in a new 5G smartphone planned for release next year from Texas-based OnwardMobility.
