The order book for the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae has been closed. The very interesting limited edition Lamborghini model has sold out. The end of the commercialization of the exclusive supercar symbolizes the end of an era marked by V12 engines. Just a few months ago Lamborghini presented a very interesting as well as an exclusive limited edition supercar in society. A model that was called to dismiss in style, or rather symbolizes, the end of an era. One was marked by powerful V12 engines. Times change and even such elite brands as Lamborghini succumb to electrification. That limited edition model was none other than the Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae. With a production of only 600 units, it has been offered in coupe and roadster body variants. Now, we know that Lamborghini has definitively closed the order book. The reason? It's already sold out. And the truth is that it is not a surprise since it was clear that, from the moment of its debut, it was called to be the pasture of wealthy collectors and followers of the Italian firm. The V12 engine of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Lamborghini will make a total of 350 units of the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae and 250 units of the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Roadster. Both models, of course, share technical and mechanical section. The protagonist is none other than a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 gasoline engine that develops a power of 780 hp and 720 Nm of maximum torque associated with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and an all-wheel drive system. This propulsion system enables the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 355 km / h. In addition, it has the driving mode selector that allows you to choose between the Strada, Sport, Corsa and Ego profiles. The Ego mode is new and allows you to modify the configuration of the suspension, steering, traction and even the engine injection maps. The limited edition Ultimae offers us the latest Lamborghini Aventador with a 6.5-liter V12 engine without electric assistance. And, although the V12 engine will have continuity in the Lamborghini range, it will have little or nothing to do with the current mechanics that have not succumbed to the era of electrification. The future of the Lamborghini Aventador goes through electrification The model that will occupy the position of the current Aventador once its departure from the market materializes, will continue to use a V12 engine. However, and unlike the aforementioned Aventador Ultimae, it will bet on electrification with a hybrid scheme. This new model will create a bridge between the current offerings of the brand and future 100% electric models. Recall that earlier this year Lamborghini confirmed that by 2024 its entire product line will be electrified with hybrid technology. The first 100% electric Lamborghini will be ready before the end of this decade. LINK: https://www.motor.es/noticias/lamborghini-aventador-ultimae-agotado-202182216.html

That's $909.99 worth of speedy, 1080p gaming monitor for just $449.99. Coming in with a whopping 360Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, this top tier Dell Alienware monitor is currently more than half off. That's $449.99 down from its usual price of $909.99, which equals a ridiculous saving on this beefy, high-speed monitor. The Alienware AW2521H gaming monitor may not come in at the top end in terms of image resolution, but what it lacks in pixels it makes up for in speed and, of course, that over the top Alienware style. HIGH REFRESH RATE GAMING MONITOR DEAL Dell Alienware AW2521H | 360Hz | 24.5-inch | 1080p | 1ms | IPS | $909.99 $449.99 at Dell (Save 51%) This high refresh rate, low response time gaming monitor may not be the highest resolution, but man does it pack a punch. Plus, it's a little bigger than average at 24.5 inches and comes with Nvidia G-Sync and Reflex Latency Analyser. At over half price off, it's certainly worth a look. As is customary for any Alienware design, this monitor oozes a sci-fi aesthetic that would make any UFO spotter's wallet fall open. Aside from that, the refresh rate and response time touted here will utterly eliminate the potential for you to blame your monitor for nerfing your gaming ability. Not only is it bezel-less on three of its four sides (which is something people seem to care about, for reasons), this gaming monitor also comes with Nvidia G-Sync and Reflex Latency Analyser built in. So lots of extra goodies, particularly for those packing an Nvidia graphics card. Spanning 24.5 inches, it'll give you a little more space to work on than your average gaming monitor, while keeping to the tried and tested 16:9 standard ratio. The size does mean that 1080p resolution may feel a little overstretched, but at least sticking to FHD will mean you wont need to bag an RTX 3090 just to make the most of the monitors immense refresh rate. Intel's Arc Alchemist discrete GPUs will be every bit as chunky as we'd hoped. Intel's first discrete GPU in years looks to be every bit as chunky as we'd hoped for. At its InnovatiON event, where it officially unveiled details about its Alder Lake CPUs, Intel confirmed that the Arc Alchemist graphics processor will pack 32 Xe Cores. Each Xe core has 16 Vector Engines and 16 Matrix Engines, equating to 512 EUs (Execution Units) in total. Essentially, the rumours that Alchemist was going to be a big powerful GPU appear to be spot on. We may still see smaller versions of the chip, lower down the stack, but at least there is hope for a full-fat model. The promise of RTX 3070-like performance is still in the cards and a competitive graphics card market should be awaiting Alchemist at its launch at the start of 2022. Not only did Intel confirm the makeup of Alchemist, but it also used the event to show off what those Matrix Engines are capable of by demonstrating XeSS running on a launched game, specifically The Riftbreaker. While it wasn't clear what framerates we were looking at, the XeSS upscaled 4K image was clearly much sharper than a standard upscaled image. The store is branching out Rudy Huyn, Architect of the Microsoft Store, has confirmed that the redesigned Store is coming to Windows 10 users who are currently signed into the Insider program. The new Microsoft Store was a big tentpole feature that Microsoft showcased when Windows 11 was first announced. For years, the Windows Store, which first debuted in Windows 8, was difficult to navigate, mainly due to the many junk apps that were available to download. But with apps such as Zoom, Disney+ and soon Android apps from Amazon coming to the Store, it looks as though Windows 10 users may be tempted to hold off from upgrading to Windows 11 for a bit longer. When will the new Microsoft Store arrive to all Windows 10 users? The Microsoft Store is rolling out to users on the Insider program on the Release ring, which lets you access pre-release builds of Windows that have features in development. For regular users, it looks as though it will be appearing in the Windows 10 November update. LIMK: https://www.techradar.com/news/windows-10-is-getting-windows-11s-new-microsoft-store

Toyota Gazoo Racing faces the final stretch of the season with the excitement of seeing which crew win the WEC title. The first season of the WEC hypercar era will be resolved with a direct duel between the drivers of the # 7 and # 8 Toyota. The first season of the WEC hypercar era comes to an end with the Bahrain double event. In the first place, drivers and teams will face a race of 6, an appointment that can begin to define the resolution of the World Endurance title. A battle that seems reserved for the drivers of the two Toyota GR010 Hybrids with which the Japanese firm competes, even if the mathematics do not leave Alpine's LMP1 out of the fight. In this regard, the # 7 Toyota drivers have a nine-point advantage over the # 8 Toyota crew before the Bahrain 6 Hours. The duel in the desert between the two Toyota GR010 Hybrids will be led in case # 7 by Mike Conway: “We are pushing to win the championship in Bahrain, but it will not be easy. We have two events, with 14 hours of racing to end the season. So far we have had a great season, especially with the victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. For us, it would be great to finish this victory with the championship. Bahrain has been a strong circuit for me over the years. It is among my favorites. Let's see what this year brings. Kamui Kobayashi will also be at the wheel of the Toyota # 7 with the great objective of defending the lead to win the WEC along with his teammates: «Ending the year with two races at the same circuit is new for the WEC and two intense weeks await us . This is the first time driving the Toyota GR010 Hybrid on this track, so you have to be very focused and improve the balance of the car to be in good shape for both races. We are going to work very hard to try to win the World Championship again. Argentine José María 'Pechito' López completes the Toyota # 7 line-up: «It will be rare and special to fight for the title in consecutive races on the same circuit, especially after Le Mans. The most important thing for the team is to secure the title with a good first race and then it will be seen which drivers win the championship. The crew that succeeds will have earned it. The drivers of the Toyota # 8 have proven to be very strong, so we are going to fight on the track, but always with great respect for each other ». Score a free copy of Resident Evil Village and Far Cry 6 with purchase. Newegg has a got a sale (and stock) on an ASRock OC Formula Radeon RX 6900 XT for $1630. This one-day sale is slashing $200 off its list of $1900 then shaving off another $70 thanks to promo code GW42AAZA9283 you can apply at checkout. I think what's more important is that Newegg actually has stock on these cards. Enough so that they are limited to 10 per customer, which seems a bit much. But hey, if you're looking to score a GPU for yourself and your entire household, now might be the time. If you don't believe me at how sought-after these cards are just look at the screenshot below. The Radeon RX 6900 XT is AMD's answer to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 though it doesn't quite keep up with Nvidia's beastly GPU. But honestly, in the great GPU shortage of 2021, it still is a decent card especially if you're going all-in on 4K gaming, and especially as RTX 3090s are going for around twice this price. And let's face it, at least you have a better chance of getting this card than the limited edition Halo RX 6900 XT AMD has just announced. Yes, that one which isn't even being sold in stores. Oh, and anyone who purchases this GPU gets a free code for Far Cry 6 and Resident Evil Village. Happy Hunting. LINK: https://www.pcgamer.com/asrock-amd-rx-6900-xt-graphics-card-deal/

macOS Monterey, the latest operating system from Apple, has started rolling out to all Mac machines on Monday. Introduced in June at the Cupertino company's WWDC 2021 event, Monterey comes as a successor to last year's macOS Big Sur. Among its many new features, the latest macOS brings a redesigned Safari and “exciting new” FaceTime updates. It also offers handy features such as Universal Control, Focus, and Shortcuts. Apple is primarily focussing on multi-device usage with macOS Monterey, as it promises a more fluid experience than its predecessors. macOS Monterey: What's new macOS Monterey doesn't quite follow the footsteps of its predecessor, the Big Sur. While Big Sur brought in an interface-level facelift, macOS Monterey is more focussed on tweaking the overall user experience. Encouraging users to engage with more Apple products, Monterey's Universal Control feature allows seamless usage of different devices such as an iPad or a MacBook or an iMac or even an Apple Pencil — all at the same time. For example, if you make a sketch or take a note on a Keynote presentation with your Apple Pencil on an iPad, it will automatically show up on your Mac machine. To encourage even more interconnectivity, macOS Monterey also brings AirPlay to Mac machines. So, you can now blast your favourite tunes on your powerful iMac speakers via the quick, wireless connection. Of course, you can share content between Apple devices as well via AirPlay. Civil society called on the Executive and Legislative functions to "mark a route and get the country out of this entrapment with a State that does not spend more than what society can afford." This is one of the conclusions contained in a final declaration of thirteen points of the 4th Cusín Consensus, as part of a space for dialogue that was held in Imbabura between October 21 and 23. There were around 50 people, members of civil society, political activists, and professors who attended this event to discuss the political, economic and social situation of Ecuador and reach agreements that were reflected in this declaration. Among the thirteen points, the participants considered that a functional state is required to resolve fiscal imbalances. According to the latest update of the Red List of Threatened Species of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN, for its acronym in English), which for more than 50 years has been carrying out the respective classification, the island's bat Christmas in Australia is extinct. On the other hand, five species of ash in the United States and the African antelope are in danger of extinction; in addition, a dramatic decline in endemic grasshoppers and millipedes of Madagascar was announced, as well as the gold-spotted marsupial frog, which is located in Colombia. Also the nocturnal monkey or musmuki species from Brazil and Peru, came to be considered by conservationists as a species of "least concern" to "vulnerable". Which means that it is threatened with extinction. This document includes 87,967 species, of which 25,062 are in danger of extinction. To be considered this way, a species must have fewer than 2,500 individuals that have declined by 20% from the last two generations. Those species that we thought were abundant and safe - such as antelopes in Africa or ash trees in the United States - are now in imminent danger of extinction. And although conservation measures work, the preservation of the forests, savannas and other ecosystems that we depend on for our survival and development is not given sufficient priority for funding, described Inger Andersen, IUCN Directorate General in giving to know the report of last Thursday. According to this organization, our planet needs urgent actions on a global scale, based on data from the Red List, to ensure the survival of species and a sustainable future. Reasons for his disappearance The most dramatic case is that of the Christmas Island bat (Pipistrellus murrayi). The po[CENSORED]tion of this species declined rapidly, from being common and widespread in the 1980s to four to twenty animals in January 2009. Only one individual remained in August 2009, and it disappeared at the end of that month. Since then, there has been no trace of this bat, despite extensive searches on the island. The reasons for the decline are unclear, but it may have been a combination of increased predation by introduced species, the impact of the invasive yellow crazy ant (Anoplolepis gracilipes) on its habitat and on its prey invertebrate species, or a unknown disease. On the other hand, despite the fact that the majority of antelope species remain unchanged, poaching, habitat degradation and competition with domestic livestock, use to their decrease. Even four of the species were previously evaluated as of Least Concern, which gives us an idea of the problem. This decline reflects a downward trend for large African mammals that compete with the growing human po[CENSORED]tion for space and resources. The first units of the new BMW i4 are already rolling off the assembly lines at the central factory in Munich, on schedule. The Bavarians' first fully electric saloon goes into production in all its versions, with the number of units estimated before the end of the year. The Munich brand already has its first fully electric saloon on sale in the main European countries. The BMW i4 has a perfectly defined range, including a high-performance option that bears the hallmark of the sports division, a true rival to the Tesla Model 3, the first units will be on the roads before the end of the year. To meet these deadlines, the new member of the electric car sub-brand has already entered production, at the central factory in Munich. The same where other models of the same category are also manufactured; for example, the Series 4 Gran Coupé - its equivalent in combustion - and the Series 3 Berlina and Touring, among others. The range of the new BMW i4 has two versions Given the importance of this model, this time BMW will not delay the launch of the most exclusive and top-of-the-line variant, the i4 M50, but is also exiting the production chain at the same time as the single-engine units. The i4 features the same front and rear styling as the new generation 4 Series, although the vertical grille features a fully enclosed panel. However, what distinguishes them from combustion models lies in the interior, as this electric has a large screen occupying the dashboard. A single high-resolution and tactile piece in the area of the center console, inherited from the iX, the electric SUV, transforming the interior atmosphere of the saloon. The range consists of only two versions, the i4 eDrive40 and i4 M50. The first only has an electric motor on the rear axle that yields a maximum power of 250 kW - equivalent to 340 hp - while the second adds a second motor to the front axle, has xDrive electric all-wheel drive and offers such superb performance. that beats the very M3 and M4 Competition with 400 kW, 544 hp. Both share the same lithium-ion battery, with a net capacity of 80.7 kWh, with a maximum range of 590 and 510 kilometers, respectively. It is not uncommon to find ultra-thin computers that only have one or two USB-C ports so that users would have the necessary adapters to get the ports that every laptop should have. Another common problem is the lack of storage, especially if it is soldered, which is why Satechi has launched a USB-C hub that can solve the problems of many users at once. The Satechi USB-C Hybrid Multiport Adapter is a USB-C hub that features two USB-A ports, a PD 100W compliant USB-C port, and an HDMI port capable of delivering 4K 60Hz resolution image, so that in itself, it is a fairly capable hub that will solve many needs. However, the hub is somewhat larger than usual, and that is, behind a cover at the bottom of the device, we find an M.2 slot. in which to insert an SSD drive of our choice, as long as it is SATA, in sizes 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280. The Satechi USB-C Hybrid Multiport Adapter comes at a price of $ 89.99 without an SSD drive and is compatible with practically any computer that has a USB-C port, although on its website we can see a great emphasis on Apple laptops, as well like the Microsoft Surface. There were 82 registrants, but 21 did not meet the regulatory requirements, according to a technical report. For the creation of the citizen commission for the selection of the head of the Public Defender's Office, 82 citizens applied, but only 61 could be admitted. The Council for Citizen Participation and Social Control (CPCCS) discussed meeting the night of this Saturday, October 23, to know the admissibility report prepared by a technical team, which concluded that 61 people met the requirements established in the respective regulations and did not be involved in prohibitions, to participate in the contest of merits and citizen challenge to form the citizen commission that will elect this authority. According to records, 82 people applied, but 21 would not make it past the intake phase. According to the report, among the non-compliances that citizens registered were the failure to prove a career in social organizations, in citizen participation, in the fight against corruption, or recognized prestige that evidences their civic commitment and defense of the general interest. Others did not have a third level degree, or did not present the registration form provided by the Council for Citizen Participation, or did not present the sworn statement. The plenary session of the body will decide in its plenary session whether to approve said report. Upon passing this phase, this technical team will qualify the merit scores of the candidates who are admitted, and the 30 best scored will go to a public draw in which ten citizens (five principals and five alternates) will be chosen to make up the commission, representing the citizens. Meanwhile, the Participation Council is waiting for the functions of the State, Executive, Legislative and Electoral to send their delegates to be part of this commission. The Transparency and Social Control Function (which groups nine State entities) chose as its delegates to be part of the commission the brother of politician Fernando Balda, Manuel Balda, who is currently a server of the Council, as national deputy coordinator of Administrative Management. The other candidate is Ana Hernández, who works as the national director of Citizen Attention and Education in the Superintendency of Banks. It was known that the National Court of Justice (CNJ) referred Paúl Astudillo Valdivieso and Jéssica Burbano Piedra as its candidates. The most recent study by a group of researchers from the University of Munich, in Germany, has just confirmed the po[CENSORED]r idea that "science has no limits." In the article in question, published on October 13 in the prestigious journal 'iScience', the researchers developed an experiment in which, after innovative surgeries, they succeeded in enabling a frog to survive despite having no way of breathing. With only days in fact shared, the incredible feat has been highlighted by some experts as an advance that, in the future, could represent the bases of a similar process in more complex multicellular beings such as humans. Interested in the dependence of O2 for neuronal activity in vertebrates, the researchers took specimens of African clawed frogs to investigate possible reactions during severe hypoxic situations. To this end, they deliberately suspended the brain function of some of the Xenopus laevis. Taking the animals in that state, the idea was to test ways that allow oxygenation essential for their vital development. Under this logic, taking into consideration that green algae and cyanobacteria are capable of producing oxygen through the natural process of photosynthesis, a surgical insertion of tiny organisms was presented as the process to follow to achieve the task.
