Mercedes-EQ, the subsidiary brand of Mercedes for electric vehicles, presented its new member this morning. It's called the Mercedes EQA, and it's a compact-sized electric crossover. The first version that will hit the market of this new model will be the Mercedes EQA 250, although later more variants will arrive. As you can imagine, this Mercedes EQA is the little brother of the well-known Mercedes EQC that we met long ago. Of course, in addition to size, the benefits are lower, as is its price. What doesn't change so much is autonomy, but we'll talk about that a few lines below. Mercedes EQA: Combination of GLA and EQC Logically, in the front we have a fully closed and large grill. It is finished in gloss black to create contrast and in its central part is the brand's logo in a considerable size. On the sides it communicates with the headlights. The bumper is muscular, continuing the customary styling of any SUV worth its salt. There are pipes of doubtful functionality that provide a greater aesthetic appeal. Less striking is the side view. In the unit that we see in the images, specific wheels are used with several colors to choose from as an option. But beyond that detail, the line is very similar to that of the GLA, using black plastic protections for the side skirts and wheel arches. More characteristic is the back. And this is due to the design of the pilots and their lighting. As other brands are doing on various products, the pilots are communicated by a horizontal strip. On the gate you can see the brand's logo and the EQA 250 inscription on the left side. For its part, the interior is identical to that of the GLA. Logically, the MBUX, with the information on the digital instrument panel and the central infotainment touch screen, change slightly. But otherwise, it will be very difficult to distinguish whether we are in the GLA or in the new Mercedes EQA. First with 190 hp and front-wheel drive As we said at the beginning of this article, the first mechanical variant to hit the market will be the Mercedes EQA 250. It is front-wheel drive and produces 140 kW (190 hp) and 375 Nm of torque. Its maximum speed is limited to 160 km / h, being able to complete 0 to 100 in 8.9 seconds. The battery is lithium-ion with a capacity of 66.5 kWh. The autonomy is situated at 426 kilometers according to the WLTP homologation cycle, while the consumption is 17.7 kWh / 100 km. Of course, one downside is that the boot has been reduced to 340 liters, for the 420 offered by the GLA. Logically, the batteries need a lot of space. Mercedes has already announced that the EQA will have more engines. The 250, which is this first, will be available on the European market from next spring. The German manufacturer has not given specific details of the rest, but it has announced that we will have available versions with four-wheel drive and powers greater than 200 kW, that is, more than 270 hp. Regarding recharges, the battery can be charged in a domestic socket or in public charging stations with powers of up to 11 kW. In a Wallbox it is much faster, although Mercedes does not specify exact data. He does talk about fast charging stations with direct current, commenting that you can go from 10 to 80% of the load in just 30 minutes if the power is 100 kW. Well equipped as standard Although there are several trim levels and different packages and options, the Mercedes EQA will come well equipped from access. Among other things, it will come standard with LED headlights and automatic high-beams, power-operated tailgate, 18-inch alloy wheels, ambient lighting, comfort seats with lumbar support, reversing camera and multifunction steering wheel. Also the MBUX system comes standard on all EQAs.

Real Madrid lived a black night. Alcoyano enters the history of Madrid as Alcorcón or Toledo did before, placing the white team in an indisputable crisis. The magical night of goal José Juan, the effort of the block and the indisputable success in the decisive moments gave a victory with resonance throughout the football planet, for his feat and for the consequences it may have. The impotence and lack of reaction from Zidane's team puts the whole project in discussion. Real Madrid appeared in El Collao, the national depository of football morale, full of unknowns in the game - the results prove it - and in the locker room - the imminent departure of Odegaard and that of Jovic calls into question the handling of Zidane with the white promises-. So the French coach gave an order not to speculate in Alcoy, presenting an eleven with more usual than expected. Despite the massive rotation on defense, partly forced by injuries to Carvajal and Ramos, he kept Casemiro and Lucas Vázquez in the lineup. They are men of his trust, they have earned it. And it must be recognized that they justify it in any field. In the mud and in the five-star stadiums. So he sent Madrid out, moving the ball well and arriving with ease. Valverde tested José Juan and the goalkeeper responded with a remarkable save, next to the post. Militao delivered a header to the goalkeeper's hands, shortly before the quarter hour, and there was not much else in the area because Alcoyano began to feel comfortable without the ball. Well placed, the Alicante team joined the lines in their plot and began to bore Madrid. The pestiño suited Alcoyano. With a bit of luck, the whites would disconnect and allow for a tight result. The Parras team was about to hit the target on the first occasion, a cross from the right that Mourad headed powerfully. The debutant Lunin served effectively, although the play was canceled for offside. The threat was real. The local plan was about to conquer the rest with tables. In just over two years as a Real Madrid player, Eder Militao had only appeared in shipwrecks, and he already touched some joy. The Brazilian made it 0-1 with an impeccable and close header. He clinched a cross from Marcelo after teaming up with Isco, the two of the old guard who aspire to return. As soon as they offer, Zidane opens the door for them. They are yours. And period. The goal lulled the game. Madrid closed the door and dedicated themselves to avoiding scares. Nothing to reproach in terms of attitude and sacrifice. Something else in terms of football. A couple of distant shots, Mariano and Lucas, and you stop counting. Vicente Parras moved the bench, three changes at a stroke, in search of more verticality and arrival. The white central triangle (Militao, Casemiro and Víctor Chust) did not concede anything, but neither did Madrid kill the game. Mariano saw a card and Benzema began to warm up. The youth squad did not have many more minutes, who went to the bench mulling over his frustration. Karim's entry did not fix anything. What's more, Madrid's night went badly. Second B teams are used to turning a corner into a treasure. Two in a row, executed with poison by Juli, led to the tie. The first was taken out by Lunin with his fists, The second found Solbes alone at the far post, unattended by Vinícius. The panorama awakened Madrid, which at least tried to avoid the extension with some intention. A lateral free kick by Isco could not be riveted by Benzema, and the dead ball in the area reached Militao, who tried to finish off from behind. Angel was late and kicked on the Brazilian's twin. Sánchez Martínez was wrong when interpreting the play. With VAR, a resounding penalty would have been awarded. Or not, you know. The fact is that the extension was inevitable, condemning white conformism. Asensio was the immediate response in the extension. Hazard and Kroos to warm up. Undisputed merit of Alcoyano, shaking the white giant. With a physical point above, the blue and white footballers were faced with the occasion of their lives. Especially in set pieces. Lunin had to block a header close to the exit from a corner. They came in on the 7th and 8th, but the night was a drama. Before the overtime break, Benzema was injured. The epic accompanied Alcoyano. On the one hand, the prodigious performance of José Juan, who avoided the goals of Lucas, Asensio or Marcelo. On the other, the block, organizing after the expulsion of Ramón. He weathered the white reefs first. And then he made a monumental game in a counter on the left wing that Diakité served to the small area for Juanan to clinch the net. Historical. The last minutes portrayed an impotent Madrid. With his best men on the grass, he tried with heart, without game. The final whistle of Sánchez Martínez certified the white catastrophe. Not even the penalty to limbo serves as an alibi. At El Collao, Madrid hit rock bottom.

The routine, the peculiarities of teleworking and the limited access to spaces to carry out some physical activity mean that many people have given up their resolutions in 2020. Among the most common are losing weight, maintaining a balanced diet and exercising. However, the good news is that it is always a good time to decide to make a change in lifestyle and what better way to start a new year than to commit to a much healthier lifestyle, even from home. Although it has been repeated ad nauseam that acquiring healthy habits is the basis for keeping diseases such as obesity, overweight and those related to the cardiovascular system, diabetes or cancer at bay, -which represent the most common causes of death worldwide -, it is not easy to internalize them in practice. In fact, a significant percentage of these conditions can be prevented if there is a better diet or some type of physical activity. For this reason, it is essential to take action to adopt routines that help improve the quality of life. Precisely, researchers from the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics affirm that focusing weight control goals on the effects they have on health facilitates adopting healthy habits. Relating these habits to a significant decrease in mortality and an increase in quality of life, rather than pressure to decrease sizes or weight, is more effective when making a radical change in life. In this sense, the first two steps that can be taken on the path to a healthier life are to transform eating habits and carry out more physical activity on a day-to-day basis: 1. Feeding It is important to differentiate two nutritional concepts: 'diet' and 'conscious eating'. “When it comes to diet, there is a direct relationship with short-term treatment. Therefore, the results of these objectives will last that same period of time. In this 'relationship' with food, there is talk of abstinence, prohibition and caloric restriction. Foods are divided into good and bad ”, says Henry Tovar, president of the Colombian Association of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. For its part, when we talk about conscious eating, "we refer to a concept that invites you to eat everything but in its proper proportions", says the expert. Learning to eat consciously helps to better understand the nutrients that each food offers and how each body assimilates it. Naturally, the same body will no longer require the consumption of foods high in fat, ultra-processed or with added sugars, which are the ones that cause the most damage. Some useful tips on food that the Colombian Association of Endocrinology offers are: 1. Have small servings of nuts, such as almonds and walnuts, available to eat when you have a craving. 2. Distribute lunch or dinner as follows: half the portion should be vegetables or fruits, 1/4 of whole grains and 1/4 of proteins. 3. Cut back instead of cutting out your favorite foods - mindful eating. 4. Establish regular meal times to avoid overeating later in the day. Although this becomes more of a challenge at home, it is important to respect this habit. Other tips include a list-based meal plan, reading food nutrition labels to measure calorie and saturated fat per serving, and keeping food fresh in the fridge. 2. Physical activity Like diet, succeeding in the goal of exercise has an important positive psychological component. For this reason, any activity that involves movement and caloric expenditure is recommended. “The idea is to look for strategies that little by little will generate changes in life. If, for example, a person walks 2,000 steps a day, and challenges himself to perform 3,000 the next day, he will notice a significant variation in his quality of life with this simple change, "says Tovar. At this point, the Colombian Association of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism recommends getting started: start with short walks and gradually increase the time; concentrate on the posture with the head raised, the abdomen turned in and the shoulders relaxed; and warm up at a gentle pace for the first few minutes. While it is true that there are healthy practices recommended for everyone that can be applied at any time, the truth of weight is in each person. For this reason, the first action for a new life in 2021 is to consult the doctor in case of any concerns because they are the ones who will indicate, according to the needs and characteristics of the patient, the most suitable comprehensive treatment to start in the new year. On The Truth Of Your Weight The complexity of obesity lies, in large part, in the misinformation that exists about the causes and consequences of these diseases, the limited time devoted to physical activity in today's hectic world, and the obesogenic environments in which we we are exposed. La Verdad de su Peso (www.laverdaddesupeso.com), is a platform that from everyday life proposes topics focused around exercise, diet, the mind and the multidisciplinary medical team, as the keys to addressing the pathologies of overweight and obesity . One of her initiatives is her podcast "All about my weight", a space in which Lucía, an overweight person, tells her life story and shares her most particular experiences on this path towards a form of healthier life. With this and the other actions of the campaign, it seeks to inspire, connect and empower patients, caregivers, doctors and organizations to break the cycle of overweight and obesity in Colombia, a situation in which we are all responsible actors.

The first vaccines against the coronavirus arrived on the afternoon of this Wednesday, January 20, at the Mariscal Sucre airport in Quito. The KLM company plane landed at 16:22 at the air terminal. The Government announced that 8,000 doses or 4,000 vaccines would arrive. In December of last year, the National Agency for Regulation, Control and Sanitary Surveillance (ARCSA) approved that the vaccine developed by Pfizer-Biontech be administered and distributed in the country, so the immediate process was its clearance. At the Quito airport there were authorities who were present at the reception, such as Vice President María Alejandra Muñoz, the Minister of Health, Juan Carlos Zevallos and the Secretary of the Cabinet, Juan Sebastián Roldán. Ten minutes later the aircraft doors were opened. An Ecuadorian flag was placed on the cargo before it was unloaded. Muñoz said that the first phase will allow to calibrate the process to get ready for the massive phase. "Today is a day of hope for Ecuador. This year 2021 begins with another side of the story, the uncertainty begins to clear up," added the official. With the arrival of the drug, the initial vaccination phase begins this Thursday. Once the doses to be used in Quito were landed, the plane took off to Guayaquil where there was to be a second landing that would include the medicine to be used in the city of Cuenca. President Lenín Moreno was going to be present at the Main Port.

25 years ago Porsche presented a model that would quickly become historic: the Porsche Boxster. Yes, a quarter of a century has passed since that time. It launched it on the market as a roadster of lower size, performance and price than the mythical 911. In addition, it helped the brand with the economic difficulties in the 90s. A tribute in the form of a special edition to commemorate the silver anniversary could not be missing. The limited edition Porsche Boxster 25th Anniversary consists of 1,250 units for the whole world. It is based on the GTS version, so it has the 4.0-liter boxer engine with 400 hp. Of course, if you think about acquiring one you must hurry and have the 109,443 euros that it costs with manual transmission, or 113,156 if you prefer the PDK transmission. Porsche Boxster 25th Anniversary, to fall in love This limited series seeks to reinterpret some details of the first generation, known with the code 986. That is why it is in the metallic GT silver color used in the prototype presented back in 1993. The contrasting details of the exterior come from the hand of a tone copper, which can be seen in some parts of the front, in the 20-inch wheels, in the air intakes and also in the air intakes. However, the Stuttgart brand also offers this 25th Anniversary Porsche Boxster in Deep Black Metallic and Carrara White Metallic. Other differentiators are the fuel filler flap with the Porsche lettering in aluminum, as is the sports exhaust. For its part, the windshield frame is black. Its interior is also very striking. In this case, they have opted for burgundy leather, as well as a red soft top with the inscription "Porsche 25". For those customers who prefer it, both the interior leather and the hood can be in black. The new model's standard equipment includes the aluminum interior pack, the 14-way electrically adjustable sports seats, the “Boxster 25” lettering on the door sill and the heated leather GT multifunction sports steering wheel. Roadster, boxer, atmospheric, 400 hp and manual Regarding the mechanics, the naturally aspirated six-cylinder boxer with 4.0 liters and 400 hp can go with a six-speed manual transmission, or with the delicious seven-speed PDK double clutch. Its maximum speed is no less than 293 km / h. The company claims that this variant with PDK gearbox and the Sport Chrono sports package can do the 0 to 100 km / h in 4 seconds. Other important standard features are the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) sports suspension, which is 10 mm lower, as well as the Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with mechanical limited-slip differential.

The French team closed the first phase of the World Cup in Egypt with victories, after beating Switzerland 25-24 on Monday, on a day in which Sweden issued a serious warning by defeating the hosts 24-23 and Norway did not he failed and certified his pass to the next inning after beating Austria 38-29. A qualification for the next round that France already had assured before starting the day, which did not prevent Guillaume Gille's men from adding another victory, in a clash that was overshadowed by the injury of goalkeeper Wesley Pardin. The French goalkeeper, who dazzled on the first day against Norway, had to leave the track twenty minutes into the first half in the arms of his teammates Luka Karabatic and Valentin Porte, after damaging his knee. Circumstance that did not prevent the French team from taking a long-suffering victory against Switzerland, thanks in large part to the good work of Vincent Gerard, who replaced Pardin with an outstanding success under the sticks. In fact, Gerard, who closed the match with 42 percent of saves, avoided with his interventions the tie of the Helvetian team, in a vibrant final of the game in which France was on the verge of letting the income of two goals escape (25 -23) with which he faced the last minute and a half of the game. But Switzerland, where center-back Andy Schmid, who scored ten goals, once again crashed into the French goalkeeper, who finally sealed the French victory (25-24) with a stop in the last second at Medhi Ben Romdhane's shot. Norway complied A victory that will allow France to access the second round, in which they will face Portugal, Iceland and Algeria, with a total of four points, two more than Norway, another of the great favorites for gold, which had to wait for the last day to mathematically seal your classification. An obligation that did not prevent the Norwegian coach Christian Berge from giving rest to the great star of the Nordic team, central Sander Sagosen, who 'only' played thirty-two minutes, after playing practically the two previous games against France and Austria. Enough time for Sagosen to shoot up to nine goals and seven assists, in a clash the Norwegians finally broke in the first ten minutes of the second half (30-21). And it is that Norway has a long road ahead, starting with a second phase, in which Portugal is emerging as the main rival of the Norwegians and French in the fight for the two places that give access to the quarterfinals. Portugal passes undefeated The Portuguese team, the great revelation of the European past, added its third consecutive victory and certified its classification with full points, like France, after beating Algeria 26-19 on Monday, in a clash in which Portugal did not give option to the North African set. The Icelandic teams will accompany Portugal in the second phase from group F, which beat Morocco 31-23 in a clash in which the young center-back Gisli Kristjansson left very good details, and Algeria, who achieved qualification thanks to the triumph that he achieved on the first day over the Moroccan team. Sweden also makes full ... in extremis For its part, Sweden issued a serious warning, after beating Egypt 24-23 on Monday, led by Spanish coach Roberto García Parrondo, which will allow the Scandinavians to access the second phase with full points. Advantage that the Swedish team won, after beating the hosts in a duel in which, after marching for forty-four minutes behind on the scoreboard, they ended up imposing their greater depth on the bench in the final stretch. Thanks to the presence of players such as goalkeeper Mikael Aggefors, who with his not very numerous but important saves, allowed the Swedish team to take advantage of the moments in which Egypt had to rest its key pieces. A fact that did not prevent the African team, which left a magnificent stamp in the first half, from having one last ball to tie, which Aggefors stopped the winger Hassan Kaddah. North Macedonia leaves Chile out North Macedonia will also be in the second phase, which snatched Chile the last ticket in play in group G, after beating the South American team 32-29, in a match that the Macedonians, led by a great Kiril Lazarov, author of eight goals, broke in their favor with a partial of 5-1 measured the second half. A second turn in which Sweden, Egypt and Macedonia will face the teams of Russia, Belarus and Slovenia, semifinalists in the last European, which made up for the defeat they conceded against Russia last day, with a victory (29- 25) on the Belarusian team. Triumph in which the culés Blaz Janc, author of eight goals, and Jure Dolenec, who added one less, played a fundamental role, who signed more than half of the goals of the Slovenian team. A victory that will allow those from Ljubomir Vranjes to start the second round with two points, one less than Russia, who with their homework already done, let themselves be carried away in their match against South Korea, as demonstrated by the scarce four goals (26-30 ) for which he defeated the very young Asian team.

The Mediterranean diet is considered the best trend to gain health and lose weight. Know 5 very simple ways to carry it out Today we have all kinds of diets within our reach, which have the function of adapting to different lifestyles and personal preferences. However, nutritionists agree that there are some trends that are just a fad and that do not always have adequate scientific support. On many occasions, dieting becomes more of a kind of punishment than an enjoyable and sustainable lifestyle. In a way, any eating plan that leads to extreme restrictions is not healthy. In such a way that we are used to seeing many fad diets come and go, however few are the trends that focus on healthy balance. The good news is that the Mediterranean diet meets all the requirements to be considered the best and most beneficial for health, not in vain has it been named for the fourth consecutive year as the most recommended. In reality it is much more than a simple nutritional guideline, rich and healthy, it is a valuable cultural heritage that encompasses a lifestyle through recipes, ways of cooking, celebrations, customs and various typical products. The Mediterranean diet is authentic and eternal. Rather than being a plan that goes on and off, it is an eating pattern full of nutritional and medicinal benefits. Among its main virtues, it is positioned as a great ally to reduce the risk of suffering from chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and obesity. The best part is that with the Mediterranean diet, there is no need to count calories, or stick to diets of "foods to avoid" or having to purchase expensive and difficult to acquire ingredients. Many of the most widely used Mediterranean ingredients are pantry staples such as canned tuna, canned beans, canned tomatoes, olives, pasta, potatoes, onions, whole grains, plain yogurt, fruits and vegetables, nuts, and seeds. Undoubtedly one of its greatest advantages is how easy and feasible it is to follow this style of eating, full of therapeutic properties. If you are interested in starting to follow a Mediterranean diet, we present you five simple ways to transform your diet and eat more Mediterranean. 1. Don't cut out carbs Currently, the trend of low-carbohydrate diets has been unleashed with intensity, being its greatest exponent is the ketogenic diet and although it is a trend that has gained many followers, various nutritionists agree that it is not sustainable in the long term. By reducing the consumption of carbohydrates, we are omitting the intake of very healthy foods necessary for the proper functioning of the body; as is the case with whole grains, beans, legumes, some fruits and vegetables. Those foods contain antioxidants, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and energy. Even white pasta provides good quality and slowly absorbed energy, the Mediterranean diet promotes the consumption of pasta. Remember that the most important thing is to watch your portions and avoid overcooking it, pasta soaked in water has a higher glycemic index (which means you will be hungry again faster). Bet on consuming the pasta 'al dente' and add plenty of vegetables with olive oil. Last but not least when it comes to carbohydrates it is important to choose the whole grain versions and watch your portions. 2. Cook with olive oil We are not going to tire of talking about the unparalleled nutritional and medicinal benefits that the consumption of olive oil brings. It is considered the fundamental pillar of the Mediterranean diet, it contains monounsaturated fats, which are related to a lower level of total cholesterol and a lower "bad" LDL cholesterol. Extra virgin olive oil contains a remarkable wealth of antioxidants, which make it a magnificent tool to combat free radicals and is key in the prevention of chronic diseases. It has magnificent anti-inflammatory properties, is considered a great protective ally of cardiovascular health, benefits weight loss, reduces the risk of diabetes, arthritis and has anticancer properties. Bet on integrating it raw in all kinds of soups, creams, ceviches, stews, pasta, meats and salads. 3. Season with citrus Citrus fruits are not only one of the most po[CENSORED]r winter fruits, they shine for their nutritional properties as they are a natural source of important vitamins and minerals. They stand out for their high content of vitamin C and antioxidants, which strengthen the immune system and protect the body from diseases caused by viruses and bacteria. At the same time, citrus fruits are characterized by their unrivaled detoxifying benefits, they are ideal for purifying organs and systems. Best of all, they add a lot of flavor to the dishes and are a great ally to replace the excessive use of salt, cooking with them is perfect to enhance certain flavors and they go great with vegetables, fish, meat and seafood. Bet on using the juice and zest of lemons, oranges, grapefruits, tangerines and limes, they are ideal for marinating foods, preparing sauces and dressings. Best of all, they are extremely low in calories, perfect for taking care of your line and protecting your health. 4. Eat fish twice a week One of the basic rules of the Mediterranean diet is to base your diet on the daily consumption of vegetables, fruits, whole grains and healthy fats. Watch and moderate the portions of dairy products and limit the consumption of red meat, on the contrary, it promotes the consumption of products such as fish, poultry, beans and eggs twice a week. High-fat fish variants such as salmon and mackerel that contain heart-healthy omega-3 fats are recommended, although all types of fish (and shellfish) are healthy and high-protein sources. biological value. Bet on consuming fresh and seasonal fish, it is easier than you think to have a delicious and healthy complete meal in minutes. Add lemon wedges, olive oil, coriander leaves, pepper and salt, and bake for 8 minutes. 5. Eat more yogurt In recent months everyone has been talking about the benefits of fermented foods and rich in probiotics, without a doubt yogurt is one of the most valued. It is considered one of the super-foods of the moment, it is rich in proteins, healthy fats, vitamins and minerals. Its consumption is associated with great benefits to improve digestion, protect intestinal health, nourish the microbiome and stimulate the immune system. Best of all, integrating yogurt into your daily diet is easy and delicious, choose to consume it for breakfast with a little oatmeal and red berries. As a sweet snack, in sauces and dressings. Nutritionists recommend choosing 2% natural Greek yogurt and avoid using variants that contain sugar, flavorings or colorings.

After the first Russian vaccine named Sputnik V, the second Russian solution: EpiVacCorona, patented in September 2020, would be 100% effective, according to the health authorities of that country. “The efficacy of the vaccine consists of its immunological and preventive efficacy. According to the results of the first and second phase of clinical trials, the immunological efficacy of the EpiVacCorona vaccine is 100% ”, according to a press release delivered by Rospotrebnadzor. Different from Sputnik EpiVacCorona guarantees immunity against coronavirus for at least 6 months, its creators reported. Apparently it can be administered on several occasions and does not cause allergic reactions, as established in tests with animals and people, since it has been made from artificially synthesized particles of the new coronavirus. "About 1,000 people have received this vaccine in the framework of clinical trials and all the volunteers feel fine," said Russian health chief Anna Popova last December. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Alekseevna Golikova noted that unlike the first Russian Sputnik V vaccine, which is a vector vaccine, produced on the basis of adenovirus, the new vaccine was created on the basis of one of the promising synthetic platforms, it is a peptide vaccine, consists of short fragments of artificially synthesized viral proteins called peptides, through which the immune system learns and subsequently recognizes and neutralizes the virus. I must say that the vaccine has a high enough level of safety ”. According to TASS media, the phase I and II studies tested the safety, side effects, and immunogenicity of the potential vaccine in 100 people ages 18 to 60. The company that made EpiVacCorona, Vector's State Research Center for Virology and Biotechnology in Russia, began testing in November last year. The news of the effectiveness of the EpiCavCorona vaccine comes a day after Russia began its massive vaccination campaign. Meanwhile, without knowing the maximum effectiveness of this vaccine, the Russian leader, Vladimir Putin, has already received the Sputnik V vaccine.

Renault presented its strategic plan this morning, dubbed the Renaulution. This is the strategy they intend to follow for at least the next five years. And not only for the brand, but for the entire Renault Group. All this, of course, with a clear focus on new technology in the automotive sector. Luca de Meo, the new CEO of the Renault Group, has presented the planned steps to follow. The plan goes in three different phases, but in parallel. They have called them Resurrection, Renewal and Revolution: Resurrection will run until 2023, focusing on recovering margin and generating liquidity. Renewal will continue until 2025, leading to the renewal and enrichment of the ranges, thus contributing to the profitability of the brands. Revolution will start in 2025, and will shift the Group's economic model towards technology, energy and mobility, making the Renault Group a pioneer in the new mobility value chain. Re-establish the competitiveness of the Renault Group. How? They make it clear that they want to improve engineering and production efficiencies, reducing fixed costs and improving variable costs around the world. They will take further advantage of the Group's industrial strengths and its electrical leadership in Europe. Also, they affirm, they will rely on the Alliance to increase the attack force in products, activities and technologies. In addition, they will accelerate mobility services in all directions. Another point is that they will try to improve profitability through 4 differentiated business units, with brands focused on different markets and clients. "According to this value-driven organization, the company will no longer measure its performance through market share participation and sales, but through profitability, liquidity generation and investment efficiency." The negative side is that there will be cuts, and they could affect our country, although they have declared that in principle there will be no more layoffs than those foreseen long ago. We recall that Renault has four production centers in Spain, with a factory in Palencia, another in Seville and two more in Valladolid. We will see to what extent all these measures spill over to workers, direct and indirect jobs.

The Atlanta Hawks beat some Timberwolves 108-97 decimated by casualties related to covid-19 and who left Minnesota's main man, Karl Anthony Towns, out of the game after contracting the disease that caused his death last year to his mother. The casualties of Karl Anthony Towns (KAT), Rubio and Hernangómez, the first one ill with covid-19 and the two Spaniards due to the health protocols of the pandemic, anticipated that the game against the Hawks was going to be an uphill battle. The forecasts were confirmed with the final horn. Without the 22 points and 12 rebounds on average per game that KAT brings to his team, the Wolves have nothing to do. In a game in which the two teams showed their weaknesses more than their successes, the Hawks finished with 13 rebounds more than Minnesotans (58 to 45) and an effectiveness of 46.8% in the shots of two points compared to 40 % of the Wolves. As Timberwolves coach Ryan Saunders recognized late in the game, with such a rebounding deficiency it is impossible to win a game. And it is that the Minnesotans arrived at the State Farm stadium in Atlanta with a disastrous record after losing eight of the last nine games and seriously affected by the pandemic. The game that the Timberwolves had to play Friday against the Memphis Grizzlies was suspended because the team did not have the minimum number of eight players that the NBA requires. With these numbers, it's not surprising that Ricky's are the last team in the Northwest division, now with nine losses and three wins. The Hawks weren't getting much better. They were ranked third in the Southeast division, with seven losses and five wins. And until today, the team had lost six of the last seven games. But at least covid-19 hasn't affected them as much as the Timberwolves. Even with the Timberwolves' absences, the Hawks had a harder time than anticipated to decisively dominate Minnesota's. The game started hesitantly, without any basket during the first two minutes until the center of the Timberwolves Naz Reid starred in a spectacular dunk that opened the scoring. In those early days, the Wolves were five points ahead (6-11) with 7.30 remaining. But Atlanta's men were able to endorse a 12-0 run in two minutes that sentenced the first quarter and ultimately the game as Minnesota never regained the lead on the scoreboard. The first 12 minutes ended with 29-25 for the Hawks, whose most effective men were center Clint Capela with 6 points and 6 rebounds, and John Collins, with the same points. Among Minnesotans, point guard D'Angelo Russell was the most effective, with 8 points and two assists. The second quarter followed the same trend. With no KAT on the court, Capela dominated under the boards as forward De'Andre Hunter and point guard Trae Young began to exploit the many gaps in Minnesota's defense. In the Wolves, the role of leader fell to the men of guard D'Angelo Russell, accompanied by Mike Beasley. The two teams went to the locker room with a 58-51 score. At the restart, Minnesota came out with a little more motivation on defense, though without improving scoring efficiency. In the third quarter both teams scored 20 points, with Hunter scoring 9 points while Capela took a break. At the beginning of the fourth period the scoreboard indicated a 7-point lead (78-71) for Atlanta. But although the difference was recoverable, the shortage of the Minnesota bench sentenced the game that ended with 108-97 and Russell as the leading scorer, with 31 points, followed by Hunter, 25 points, and Capela, 23.
