Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro — Google's upcoming flagship smartphones — display specifications have surfaced online, well ahead of the launch of the handsets later this year. The smartphones are tipped to feature the same displays as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro that debuted last year. The company teased its next generation handsets at the annual Google I/O developer conference earlier this month and revealed that they will be powered by an updated Tensor SoC, and will run on Android 13 out-of-the-box. According to code in the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) spotted by 9to5Google, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be equipped with the same Samsung displays as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, respectively. The display driver for the Pixel 7 which is codenamed Cheetah is tagged C10, while the driver for the Pixel 7 Pro codenamed Panther is tagged P10. Both files reveal the specifications of the upcoming handsets, according to the report. Just like the Pixel 6, the upcoming Pixel 7 will sport a full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate, as the code points to the use of Samsung's S6E3FC3 panel. While the specifications of the display remain the same, the display is tipped to be slightly smaller than the Pixel 6 — with height and width lowered by 2mm and 1mm, respectively. Meanwhile the Pixel 7 Pro will be equipped with the same QHD+ (1,440x3,120) pixels display with a 120Hz refresh rate — the same as the Pixel 6 Pro that was launched in 2021, using the same Samsung S6E3HC3 panel, according to Google's driver code. Unlike the Pixel 7, the Pro model will offer the same screen size as its predecessor.The drivers for the Pixel 7 Pro display also suggest that the high-end model could offer users the ability to display content in 1080p mode via a recently spotted setting on Android 13. While this will downgrade the viewing experience on the smartphone, it can help conserve battery — a feature offered on other smartphones with high-resolution displays. Meanwhile, Google is yet to officially reveal the complete specifications of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, ahead of their expected debut later this year.

Intel recently updated the oneAPI Video Processing Library, also known as oneVPL, to version 2022.1. The new update changes Intel's focus on VA-API and Media SDK to the current standard of oneAPI acceleration. Intel changes the focus on support for video acceleration to oneVPL, the open-source specification API, with the newest update to increase reliance on more product lines The latest update supports Intel Arc A series GPUs, Rocky Linux support, and graphics card support for a wider variety of previous-generation GPUs, such as Tiger Lake. Intel oneVPL is described on the company's website as,[...] a programming interface for video decoding, encoding, and processing to build portable media pipelines on CPUs, GPUs, and other accelerators. The oneVPL API is used to develop quality, performant video applications that can leverage Intel® hardware accelerators. It provides device discovery and selection in media centric and video analytics workloads, and API primitives for zero-copy buffer sharing. oneVPL is backward compatible with Intel® Media SDK and cross-architecture compatible to ensure optimal execution on current and next generation hardware without source code changes. Now, Intel is capable of supporting Tiger Lake processors and 12th Gen graphics, also known as Arc A series. At the same time, the dispatcher from the oneVPL update can focus on previous Intel Media SDK as far back as eighth-generation graphics hardware — the Broadwell hardware series.On the open-source side, RHEL-based Rocky Linux allocation has received added support. The new Arc A graphics support will open up aid for the next-generation discrete graphics that Intel is manufacturing and providing for new desktops and laptops. Oppo F17 and Oppo A73 has started receiving the official ColorOS 12 update. The latest update based on Android 12 is currently rolling out in India and Vietnam. However, the users are required to submit an application if they want to receive the ColorOS 12 update during the initial rollout phase, according to the company. Prior to this, both Oppo smartphone models had received the ColorOS 12 Beta version in April. Oppo through a community news post announced the release of ColorOS 12 for the Oppo F17 in India. The company also separately announced the same for the Oppo A73 in Vietnam as well. The smartphone maker has mentioned some points for the users to be noted before upgrading the phones, including preparing a backup before updating in order to avoid data loss caused by any unforeseen circumstances. Meanwhile, if you want get the official version of the ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 on your Oppo phone, you can apply for it by going to Settings > About phone > Software update > Detect the ColorOS 12 version > Trial Version. During your Sniper Elite 5 Campaign, you will earn XP points for completing objectives and killing enemies. When you reach enough XP, you will rank one level up and get a Skill Point. These can be spent on the Skills Menu and help you unlock new abilities, improve them and let you carry more items. There are three Skill trees available in Sniper Elite 5, each one focused on a specific area: Combat, Equipment, and Body. Let’s see how they work and what are the best skills to unlock early in the game. How to Unlock New Skills in Sniper Elite 5 To access the Skill tree, you need to pause the Campaign and click on Skills. Alternatively, you can select Loadout and customization on the main menu and click on Campaign Skills. You can also access it before starting a new level. To earn Skill Points, you need to farm XP by completing the main objective, the side missions, and killing enemies. Moreover, each level features at least one Kill List target: eliminating it will reward you with extra XP and help you rank faster. Playing with Invasion Mode enabled also awards you with extra XP. Once you have enough Skill Points, you can spend them on the Skill Menu and unlock the abilities you need. For example, you will be able to use secondary weapons when incapacitated with No Time To Bleed or increase the carry limit for Teller Mines and Schu-Mines with Carry More Traps. Combat Skill Tree Unlocking your Combat skills can be highly beneficial throughout the game, especially if you are playing on Hard difficulty or higher. Depending on your playstyle, you might decide to prioritize this category or leave it aside for the first half of the Campaign and focus on other skills. Realme C30 is reportedly being readied for launch in India. Ahead of the official confirmation, a fresh leak has tipped the phone's colour options as well as RAM and storage details. The upcoming Realme C-series phone is tipped to come in three different colours and two RAM and storage configurations. It could pack 32GB of onboard storage. The Realme C30 is speculated to come as a budget offering. It is said to be announced in June. Although details about its launch are yet to be officially revealed, the Realme C30 may be positioned below the Realme C31 in the Indian market. A report by Mysmartprice suggests the India launch timeline, colour variants, and RAM + storage configurations of Realme C30. As per the report, the upcoming handset will be launched in India next month. It is said to come in three colour options — Bamboo Green, Denim Black, and Lake Blue. Also, the Realme C30 is said to come in two configurations — 2GB RAM + 32GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. The smartphone could run on Android Go Edition. However, there is no official word from Realme on it. The upcoming Realme C30 could sit below the Realme C31 launched in March this year. MSI is working on an internal DIY solution known as Project Zero with the aim of making PC Cable management easier and neater. MSI Project Zero Teased, The Answer To Gigabyte's Project Stealth PC DIY Kit? Based on pictures posted by @chi11eddog, it looks like MSI is working on a host of solutions that will fall under its Project Zero PC DIY Kit. The first of these products is a brand new Intel Z690 PCH-powered motherboard which is said to be part of the Unify series lineup. Compared to the existing motherboard, the new offering has virtually zero front-facing connectors. Now as we saw with the Gigabyte's Project Stealth approach, the MSI Project Zero approach looks very similar and rids of all connectors such as power plugs, fan headers, RGB headers, and USB ports & SATA III headers too. It looks like the motherboard will feature those connections on the back of the PCB as showcased in the pictures. There are 6 SATA III ports, a USB front panel header, and a 24-pin ATX power connector, all of which are right-angled facing. The rest of the connectors are positioned on the top side of the PCB as we can see dual 8-pin connectors and triple 4-pin fan headers.Moving the connectors to the back of the board will make cable management far easier & cleaner than having them on the front of the motherboard. You can also see the Diagnostic LED behind a front-PCB cover and both Power/Reset switches below it. Being part of the Unify series would mean that there will be no RGB LEDs on the motherboard Such a motherboard design will be useless in existing PC cases which means that Project Zero is going to extend beyond just a cool motherboard design and MSI will offer its own gaming PC case as a part of the DIY Kit. The motherboard with its all-black aesthetics really does more just to the Stealth naming used by Gigabyte & AORUS for their own custom kit. That along with an MSI MEG Coreliquid S360 cooler makes for a perfect match. Now the question remains if MSI will only work on a motherboard and casing or go beyond that? The new phone is a successor to the Infinix Hot 11 Play launched in November last year. It comes with features including a hole-punch display design, a dual rear camera unit led by the 13-megapixel main sensor and a massive 6,000mAh battery. The Infinix Hot 12 Play is powered by the Unisoc T610 processor and carries 64GB of onboard storage. The handset offers 4GB of RAM and it can be further expanded up to 3GB using the unutilised inbuilt storage. Infinix Hot 12 Play price, availability Price of Infinix Hot 12 Play in India has been set at Rs. 8,499 for the sole 4GB + 64GB storage variant. The smartphone comes in Champagne Gold, Daylight Green, Horizon Blue, and Racing Black colour options. The new Infinix phone will go on sale through Flipkart starting May 30. The available price is an introductory one, and there is no word on how long the introductory period will last. For optics, the Infinix Hot 12 Play features a dual rear camera setup along with a quad-LED flash. The camera setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and depth sensor. For selfies and video chat, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens at the front with a dual-LED flash.
