  9. Microsoft is in the process of developing a single version of Outlook for Windows and Mac that will also replace the default Mail and Calendar apps on Windows 10. According to Windows Central, the new client is codenamed Monarch and its user interface is based on the Outlook Web app that can currently be accessed from a web browser. Project Monarch is the final goal of Microsoft's “One Outlook” vision which the company detailed last year. As part of this vision, the software giant will build a single Outlook client that works across PC, Mac and the web in order to replace its existing Outlook clients for desktop including Outlook Web, Outlook (Win32) for Windows, Outlook for Mac and Mail and Calendar on Windows 10. We've put together a list of the best email services around These are the best cloud storage services on the market Also check out our roundup of the best SMB software When completed, Monarch will deliver a single Outlook product that has the same user experience and codebase regardless of whether it's running on Windows, Mac or the web. One Outlook In addition to being compatible with multiple operating systems, Monarch will also have a much smaller footprint and be accessible to both free Outlook users as well as commercial business customers. Microsoft's new Outlook client will feature native OS integration as well as support for offline storage, share targets, notifications and more. The company is also working to ensure Monarch feels native to the operating system its running on while remaining universal across platforms. The new Monarch client will enter preview towards the end of this year and Microsoft plans to replace Windows 10's Mail and Calendar apps with it in 2022. The legacy Win32 Outlook client will also be replaced but this will take some time as it is quite large.
  10. DeepCool has announced two new AIO coolers, called the GAMMAXX L240 ARGB and the GAMMAXX L360 AIO CPU cooler. These coolers have addressable RGB lighting and fantastic performance, which utilize DeepCool's Anti-Leak Technology and an Ultra large copper base that offers support for both Intel and AMD socket types. DeepCool hasn't revealed any pricing information for either AIO coolers or when these AIO coolers will be available for consumers. DeepCool has announced the GAMMAXX L240 ARGB and L360 ARGB AIO CPU coolers featuring DeepCool's Anti-Leak technology support DeepCool introduces the GAMMAXX L240 ARGB and the GAMMAXX L360 ARGB AIO CPU coolers, and these coolers feature DeepCool's anti-leak technology. This technology regulates the AIO cooler's pressure to ensure that no leaks can potentially ruin other PC components. These AIO coolers use an E-shaped micro water channel design, enhancing the heat transfer efficiency and the water circulation through the radiator. The L240 ARGB features two 120 mm fans, while the L360 ARGB comes with three 120 mm fans, allowing for a higher cooling capacity. This radiator is made from aluminum. TACHY Vortex 15 Laptop With AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Zen 3 CPU & NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Max-P 6 GB Graphics Card Unveiled For $1099.99 US These fans are designed to produce not only fantastic cooling but also feature completely addressable RGB lighting effects. These lighting effects can be completely controlled through either the motherboard's RGB software or through the included RGB controller. This AIO cooler also features RGB lighting on the CPU pump. This pump features a maximum speed of 2,400 RPM and creates a maximum noise of 17.8 dBA. The pump uses a 3-pin connector to power and controls the RGB lighting throughout the entire AIO CPU cooler. The fans used in both of these AIO coolers offer a maximum fan speed of 1,800 RPM and a minimum of 500 RPM. At the maximum speed, these fans create a maximum noise of 30 dBA, creating these coolers' cooling capacity without generating a large amount of noise. These AIO coolers offer support for both Intel and AMD sockets ensuring widespread compatibility for various computer systems. The 380 mm cord length further expands this AIO cooler's wide compatibility. DeepCool has yet to announce any pricing information for either the GAMMAXX L240 ARGB or the GAMMAXX L360 AIO CPU coolers or when these coolers will be available for purchase for consumers.
  11. GTA 5 'Expanded and Enhanced' is coming to PlayStation 5 in 2021. By this time, GTA 5 will have spanned 3 separate generations. Not many games can make this boast and it’s a testament to the success of the title. The game has continued to attract new players and entertain veterans since 2013. It’s GTA Online mode has generated over $1 billion in revenue and shows no signs of slowing down. Therefore, we're not surprised that GTA 5 Expanded and Enhanced will be making its way to PS5 in 2021. Rockstar Games may be staying tight-lipped about GTA 6, but at least fans will still be able to explore Los Santos in all its crime-ridden glory. What Do We Know? Rockstar hasn’t told us much about GTA 5 Expanded and Enhanced, but we can really make a few predictions. We expect this edition to include the full game (as well as GTA Online) and all of its updates so far. The trailer shown at Sony’s event showed scenes from GTA Online as well as the single player campaign. Therefore we feel like this prediction is a highly likely. The next logical update would be bringing GTA 5 in line with next gen technology. GTA 5 is already playable in 4K on PS4 Pro and PC, but it now could be making the jump from 30fps to 60fps on PS5. GTA 5 Expanded And Enhanced Coming to Xbox Series X? Rumours also suggest GTA 5 Expanded and Enhanced could be coming to Xbox Series X too. This is unconfirmed at the moment, but it seems plausible. Announced at a Sony event, this means there’s likely some arrangement is in place between Sony and Rockstar. There may even be a timed exclusivity deal. GTA Online is a significant money-maker, so it makes sense for either Sony or Microsoft to have pushed for this. That’s despite the game already existing on multiple other platforms in some form. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as this story develops. At the moment, Rockstar are yet to confirm exactly what (if any) new content is coming. It will be interesting to see what changes and updates come to GTA 5 Expanded and Enhanced when it releases in 2021.
  12. In this week's round-up of automotive gossip, we find out why Gridserve is called Gridserve, how BMW and Mini are eying Brexit and how plastic recycling is helping Audi's factories become carbon-neutral. Toddington Harper, CEO of Gridserve – the firm behind the UK’s first bespoke EV charging forecourt – doesn’t share his name with one of the country’s biggest service stations by mere coincidence. “My father, Brian, was building petrol stations 60 years ago and decided to name his children after the first service station on the M4 (Heston) and the first on the M1,” he explained. Harper’s middle name? Warwick. As an odd aside, Gridserve’s first charging customer was called Brian, and his father also built petrol stations. BMW prepare for turbulence BMW and Mini are “prepared for any turbulence” next year as Brexit threatens to affect the flow of parts from Germany to the UK, according to production board member Milan Nedeljkovic. Countering many car firms’ views, he doesn’t expect a no-deal outcome to be “trying”, with preparations for the economic impact already made. Plastic underpins Audi green goal Audi has taken another step towards its goal of making all of its factories carbon-neutral by exploring a way to chemically recycle ‘mixed’ plastics. Instead of recycling different types of plastic waste (such as fuel tanks, wheel trim parts and radiator grilles) mechanically, Audi and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology will seek to convert them into pyrolysis oil, which can be used to make new plastic for cars, saving energy and cost. Audi’s head of procurement strategy, Marco Philippi, said: “We want to make efficient use of resources, and chemical recycling has great potential for this.”

  13. Ryu, who has been attending her courses online throughout 2020, said the ability to recuperate at home and wear a mask in public without drawing attention were deciding factors. “I always wanted to get a nose job ... I thought it would be the best to get it now before people start taking off masks when vaccines become available in 2021,” she said as she prepared for the 4.4 million won ($4,013) procedure. “There will be bruises and swelling from the surgery but since we’ll all be wearing masks I think that should help,” she added. That attitude is fuelling demand for such operations in South Korea, which had already experienced a pickup in cosmetic surgery in 2020. The country has been a world capital of cosmetic surgery even during non-pandemic times. The industry is estimated to be worth about $10.7 billion in 2020, up 9.2% year-on-year, and is expected to hover around $11.8 billion this year, according to Gangnam Unni, the country’s largest online cosmetic surgery platform. Cosmetic surgeons say patients are interested in all parts of the face: those that can be easily hidden under masks, such as the nose and lips, as well as those that face coverings don’t conceal, which some consider the criteria of beauty in the coronavirus era. “Both surgical and non-surgical inquiries about eyes, eyebrows, nose bridge and foreheads - the only visible parts - certainly increased,” said Park Cheol-woo, a surgeon at WooAhIn Plastic Surgery Clinic, who was in charge of Ryu’s operation. Surgeon Shin Sang-ho, who operates Krismas Plastic Surgery Clinic in the centre of Gangnam district, said many people have spent their emergency stimulus payment from the government at hospitals and clinics, boosting revenue in the third and fourth quarter of 2020. “I felt like it’s sort of a revenge spending. I’ve sensed that customers were expressing their pent-up emotions (from the coronavirus) by getting cosmetic procedures,” Shin said. Government data showed that of 14.2 trillion won ($12.95 billion) government cash handouts, 10.6% was used in hospitals and pharmacies, the third-largest segment by classification behind supermarkets and restaurants, though the details of hospital types were not disclosed. Gangnam Unni data showed its users surged 63% from a year earlier to about 2.6 million last year. They requested 1 million counselling sessions, double the amount from a year earlier. The pandemic made it harder to promote services to foreign clients, so in the last year it embraced a more local and regional focus.

  14. Everyone in England must stay at home except for permitted reasons during a new coronavirus lockdown expected to last until mid-February, the PM says. All schools and colleges will close to most pupils and switch to remote learning from Tuesday. Boris Johnson warned the coming weeks would be the "hardest yet" amid surging cases and patient numbers. He said those in the top four priority groups would be offered a first vaccine dose by the middle of next month. All care home residents and their carers, everyone aged 70 and over, all frontline health and social care workers, and the clinically extremely vulnerable will be offered one dose of a vaccine by mid-February. Scotland earlier issued a stay-at-home order and Wales said schools and colleges would shut until 18 January for most pupils. Schools in Northern Ireland will have an "extended period of remote learning", the Stormont Executive said. Speaking from Downing Street, Mr Johnson told the public to follow the new lockdown rules immediately, before they become law in the early hours of Wednesday. All the new measures in England will then last until at least the middle of February, he said, as a new more infectious variant of the virus spreads across the UK. The PM added that he believed the country was entering "the last phase of the struggle". Hospitals were under "more pressure from Covid than at any time since the start of the pandemic", he said. And he reiterated the slogan used earlier in the pandemic, urging people to immediately "stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives". At-a-glance: New rules in England People cannot leave their homes except for certain reasons, like the first lockdown last March These include essential medical needs, food shopping, exercise and work for those who cannot do so from home All schools and colleges will close to most pupils from Tuesday with remote learning until February half term Early years settings such as nurseries will stay open End-of-year exams will not take place this summer as normal Elsewhere, university students should not return to campuses and will be taught online Restaurants can continue to offer food delivery, but takeaway alcohol will be banned Outdoor sports venues - such as golf courses, tennis courts and outside gyms - must close But outdoor playgrounds will remain open Amateur team sports are not allowed, but elite sport such as Premier League football can continue Presentational grey line On Monday, the UK recorded more than 50,000 new confirmed Covid cases for the seventh day in a row. A further 58,784 cases and an additional 407 deaths within 28 days of a positive test result were reported, though deaths in Scotland were not recorded. As of 08:00 GMT, there were 26,626 Covid-19 patients in hospital in England, according to the latest figures. This is a week-on-week increase of 30%, and a new record high. Those who are clinically extremely vulnerable will be contacted by letter and should now shield once more, Mr Johnson said. Support and childcare bubbles will continue under the new measures - and people can meet one person from another household for outdoor exercise. Communal worship and life events like funerals and weddings can continue, subject to limits on attendance. While Mr Johnson said end-of-year exams would not take place as normal in the summer, he said alternative arrangements would be announced separately. The government has published a 22-page document outlining the new rules in detail. The House of Commons has been recalled to allow MPs to vote on the new restrictions on Wednesday. Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said his MPs would "support the package of measures", saying "we've all got to pull together now to make this work".

  19. Blueback Python Tool Pro is the latest evolution of the Python Tool and is now available as its own product separate from the Blueback Toolbox. Our aim is to enable clients to leverage more value from their legacy data in their preferred data science environment. The tool allows geoscientists to apply complex machine learning algorithm and data science workflows against their Petrel data and includes a series of tools to visualise, mani[CENSORED]te and distribute code. The Blueback Python Tool Pro connects directly into Petrel from any external Python installation. It allows you to develop research code in notebooks and then distribute the code as easy-to-run notebooks with full documentation. With the Python Tool Pro users can run scripts from a separate Python installation via open-source notebooks such as Jupyter, Microsoft’s Visual Studio Code or other Python editors using an expansive Petrel domain model. The Python Tool Pro updates Petrel domain objects instantly using Python scripts and lets users access powerful visualisations from Python libraries and modern machine learning libraries to contextualise workflows.
  20. An MSI representative has reportedly shared some interesting information about Intel's pending 11th Generation Rocket Lake-S processors over at the Danawa forums., but we grabbed a screenshot of the original reply and put it through Google Translate. Many rumors claim that Intel may announce Rocket Lake-S at CES 2021 but that the processors probably won't hit the market until later. According to the statement, the Rocket Lake-S chips won't be available to the public until the end of March, lending some credibility to the rumors. Meanwhile, it remains to be seen whether there is any validity to the rumor that Intel has given motherboard vendors the green light to reveal their new Z590, B560, and H510 offerings on January 11. Although it is conceivable that current-gen Comet Lake chips will be forward compatible with the new chipsets, an early motherboard launch doesn't seem to make much sense because the new processors wouldn't arrive until late March. In other news, the statement also seemingly confirms that current 400-series motherboards, including the H410, B460, and Z490 chipsets would support Rocket Lake-S. This doesn't come as shocking news, considering that other motherboard manufacturers, such as ASRock and Biostar, already promote backward compatibility with 400-series motherboards. As expected, 400-series motherboards will require a simple firmware upgrade to house the new Rocket Lake-S parts, which still dwell on the LGA1200 socket. According to the statement, MSI will prioritize Z490 motherboards first and consequently go down the product stack. Naturally, the company expects to get all its 400-series motherboard on to the new firmware before the Rocket Lake-S launch in March.
