La numai trei luni de la lansarea smartphone-ului high endGalaxy S5, Samsung i-a pregatit o varianta mai puternica, denumita neinspirat Galaxy S5 LTE-A. Aceasta se va alatura versiunii rezistente S5 Active, si celei mici S5 Mini, in plus pe langa cele doua configuratii initiale (Snapdragon 801 / Exynos 5422). Ce schimbari primim? In primul rand din nume ne dam seama ca avem parte de conectivitatea LTE-A, capabila de viteze de download de 225 Mb/sec (fata de LTE cat4 de pana acum care se oprea la 150 Mb/sec). Si asta gratie modemului Gobi 9×35 integrat in noua platforma Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 cu care vine echipat acest Galaxy S5 LTE-A. Platforma este compusa in rest dintr-un procesor quad core Krait 450 la 2.5 GHz, si un GPU Adreno 420. Telefonul mai are 3 GB de RAM, 16 sau 32 GB interni, si slot microSD ce permite card-uri de pana la 128 GB. Si cum avem toate aceste noi resurse, s-a schimbat si ecranul Super AMOLED. Acesta are o diagonala tot de 5.1″ (13 cm), dar rezolutia de 2560*1440 pixeli (576 ppi), pentru a nu ramane mai prejos. Restul specificatiilor raman aceleasi: camera principala de 16 MP si secundara de 2 MP, rezistenta la apa, conectivitate etc. Nici dimensiunile nu se modifica, telefonum masurand 142*73*8.1 mm si cantarind 145 de grame. Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A este lansat zilele acestea, initial pe piata din Coreea de Sud, la un pret inca nedezvaluit.

what is skype qik : Skype Qik is a video messaging service by Skype. It was created from the technology Skype Technologies acquired through the purchase of Qik. The service, offered for Android, iOS, and Windows Phone devices, allows users to exchange video messages between individuals or within a group. Previously, the Qik service offered a mobile-based live video-sharing website and two-way video conferencing application that allowed users to stream live video from their cell phones to the internet. Qik enabled users to record and upload video directly from supported cell phones. Qik, a Silicon Valley startup, launched its alpha version in December 2007 and went into public beta in July 2008. Look : What is The Good : Skype Qik is fast at recording and sending video messages. The bad thing : The app's design is confusing and you can only send messages to people already in your phone's address book. The Bottom Line : Limited features and a complicated interface mean that you should skip Qik for other video messaging apps. Setup & Design : The app isn't at all like Skype; you don't log in with your Skype account and you don't get access to your Skype contacts. Instead, you log into the app with your phone number and only communicate with the contacts on your phone that also have Qik. Because you login with you phone number, you cannot use Qik on more than one device, but that might not matter since there are no tablet versions of the app. There's no way to enter someone's phone number or email address manually in the app (I tried), they need to be part of your phone contacts in order to send a message to them. For me, that's a sticking point, because for an app with Skype in the name, I expect to be able to chat with my Skype contacts. The app's main screen (left) shows all of your conversations. Tap any of them to see the videos in the chat (right). If you friends don't already use Qik, they'll get a text with a link to download the app, and they'll need to install it to watch your videos. Again, if you need to use the app to send messages, as opposed to sending them as texts or emails, I don't see why I couldn't create an optional username that I could share with people not already in my phone contacts so that I can send messages to them. Am avut placerea sa ma joc pe unul dintre cele mai interesante telefoane din categoria low end. Si de putine ori am ramas impresionat de un telefon, mai ales low end. Insa Philips S398 chiar a fost o surpriza placuta. Este o cutie normala unde o sa gasesti cam tot ce ai nevoie: incarcator, casti, folie de protectie, cablu USB si un capac de rezerva. Puteti vedea asta in unboxing. Ca si constructie, telefonul arata foarte bine si se simte placut la atingere. Este construit din plastic, putin lucios, si are aderenta buna in mana utilizatorului. Dimensiunile sunt unele compacte si va incapea fara probleme in buzunarul pantalonilor. Butoanele tipice Android sunt amplasate pe carcasa, sub ecran, cele de volum in partea stanga, iar butonul de power in partea dreapta. Difuzorul este amplasat in spate, jack-ul pentru casti in partea de sus, iar mufa de incarcare tot sus. Pe partea din fata dispune de plastic glossy negru, iar capacele bateriei sunt dintr-un plastic lucios, insa nu foarte glossy.

La Lexus LFA est un modèle coupé produit par Lexus, limitée à une production de 500 exemplaires (plus une cinquantaine d'unités du Nürburgring package).
