The government decided this Tuesday, November 5 to review the conditions of family reunification. He wants to tighten some criteria, including that of personal and family ties. It is also to fight against the fraud on the residence permits of parents of French children, the famous crime of paternity of convenience. More specifically, it is the fact of recognizing a child for the sole purpose of obtaining, or having obtained by another person, a residence permit. Another objective of the government is to facilitate professional immigration to alleviate recruitment problems in certain sectors of activity. For the Minister of Labor, Muriel Pénicaud, France must recruit in immigration according to its work needs The goal is to allow sectors in tension to hire foreign workers more easily. The idea is to set each year the labor needs by sector of activity and by territory.

If you can't find a file or a program on your computer, you can use the Cortana search box at the bottom of Windows 10. You can even use the search box to open up programs, if you use voice search. You can simply click inside of the box and type whatever you're searching for. In the image below we're searching for Windows 10: Notice the various categories: Best Match, Settings, Web, Store. These categories help you narrow down your search. Click the More arrow at the top to see more categories: So, for example, if you were searching for an image, you could click the Photos category to narrow down your search. Cortana would then only search for images. Click the X in the top right to go back to the first list of categories. If you have a look at the top of the first list, you'll see three icons: These are shortcuts to search the Web, search the Documents folder on your computer, and search for Apps. Click one of these, if you're sure that whatever you are searching for is in one of these locations. If you can't find any results, click the icon again (it should be highlighted): You will be returned to the first screen: In general, though, if you can't find a file you have saved or downloaded from the internet, a search using Cortana should be your first port of call.

This Moroccan was "the second most wanted terrorist in the Sahel - including by the Americans," said the minister on the plane that brought her from Gao, Mali, to France. He joined Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) in 2012. He became its spiritual leader before joining the founding of the Support Group for Islam and Muslims (GSIM) in 2017 with Lyad ag Ghali, the number one of the organization he was closest to (and who is at the top of the wanted list). GSIM claimed responsibility for the recent attacks in late September and early October against Malian forces in Boulkessy and Mondoro with 40 soldiers killed. The group also claimed the Ouagadougou attack of March 2018 (8 dead). The Ouagadougou attacks of 2016 (30 dead) and 2017 (19 dead) are also the work of Al Qaeda. Brain of the expansion of Al Qaeda in the Sahel The brain of Al Qaeda's expansion in the Sahel, the architect of the South Katibas unit within GSIM, Ali Maychou is the second major GSIM figure killed this year after the death of Algerian Djamel Okacha , aka Yahya Abu El Hamame in February. "This is the neutralization of a very influential person," Ms. Parly told AFP the day after her visit to Burkina Faso, where she met with French special forces. "It is very important to disorganize these movements in depth," said the minister, "but that does not mean that these movements are self-destruct in parallel." "It is necessary to continue this work of counter-terrorism but it is only one element" of the task to be done to make safe the countries of the Sahel, she recalled while mentioning the importance to accompany the local armed forces for that they gain autonomy.

Americans are split along party lines on whether to impeach and remove President Donald Trump, according to a Washington Post/ABC News poll released Friday. Coming on the heels of the House's approval vote on Thursday formalizing the procedures of the impeachment inquiry into Trump and after weeks of testimony from current and former administration officials behind closed doors, the poll shows results nearly identical to a recent CNN poll released last week that half of Americans support removing the President -- suggesting that levels of impeachment support have remained steady as the inquiry ramps up. In Friday's poll, 49% of Americans indicated that Trump should be impeached and removed from office, while 47% indicated that he should not be as the House's impeachment inquiry into Trump's dealings with Ukraine head into its next phase. The poll finds a wide partisan gap on impeachment and removal. Eighty-two percent of Democrats support removing the President from office, while 13% are against it. Meanwhile, 18% of Republicans back removing Trump, while 82% oppose it. Independents, though, are split -- with 47% backing impeachment and 49% against it. Regardless of their views on impeachment, 55% say Trump did something wrong in his dealings with Ukraine, and 60% say it was inappropriate for Trump to involve his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani in his dealings with Ukraine. Thirty-eight percent of Americans overall approve of Trump's job as president, while 58% disapprove -- and 48% strongly disapprove, according to the newly released poll. Trump's disapproval rating stands at 91% among Democrats, 57% among independents and -- in a record low among Post-ABC polls, the paper reported -- 74% among Republicans. The poll released Friday was conducted over the telephone from Sunday to Wednesday among a random national sample of 1,003 adults. Sixty-five percent of participants were reached on cellphones and 35% were reached on landlines. The poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points. CORRECTION: This story has been updated to accurately reflect Republicans' stance on impeaching and removing President Donald Trump, according to The Washington Post/ABC News poll.

Three people were killed and nine were hurt Tuesday night during a mass shooting at a home in Long Beach. The Long Beach Fire Department said officials were called to the home at around 10:44 p.m. and came across what authorities described as a mass casualty incident. Long Beach fire spokesman Jake Heflin said firefighters arrived at the home to “a scene obviously filled with chaos. There were 12 patients involved in this incident.” The department said three men were dead and nine others were hurt, though their conditions were not immediately available. Few other details were immediately available, and it’s unclear whether the gunman was still at large. The shooting occurred at a home on 7th Street near Temple Avenue. Some witnesses at the scene said there might have been a Halloween party going on at the house when the shots rang out. Richard Villalobos, 41, who doesn’t live far from the shooting, said he heard numerous gunshots and less than 10 minutes later police sirens. Some residents said they heard up to 20 shots. Oswaldo Morales, 47, said he was in the area when he heard what sounded like several rounds of gunfire — as many as 17 shots. Then “silence, you didn’t hear a thing,” he said. Morales said minutes later he heard fire and police vehicles passing through the area.

Windows 10 has been criticised for sending too much information about you and your computer back to Microsoft. You can prevent most of this by tweaking your privacy settings. The first thing to do is to bring up the settings screen. You can either click the Start menu and click on the settings icon on the left: Or press the Windows key then the letter i on your keyboard. When you see the Settings screen, scroll down and click on the Privacy item: The privacy screen will then look like this (these are the defaults): The idea is, you click on item from the list on the left to see the settings available on the right. The first one on the left is General, and you can see the General Settings on the right, in the image above. Let's go through these and see what they mean. You can then decide whether to switch them on or off. Let apps use my advertising ID for experience across apps. Suppose Microsoft displays an advertisement in Internet Explorer, and you click this ad. If you then go to another Microsoft app, say Outlook.com, you will see a similar advert to the one you clicked on. In other words, Microsoft will be tracking you across apps. Turn this setting off if you don't want to be tracked. Leave it on if you don't mind being tracked, or you want to see ads for products that are suited to you, rather than random ads. Turn on SmartScreen Filter to check web content … Microsoft will check if a web address is safe or not. It's a good idea to leave this on. Send Microsoft info about how I write … Might be helpful if you're spelling is terrible, otherwise switch it off. Microsoft insist that they are not collecting any information that would identify you - it's just to help you with your spelling, punctuation, grammar, etc. For example, suppose you consistently type the word "the" as "teh". This could be autocorrected for you when you press the spacebar. Let websites provide locally relevant content by accessing my language list. An example of this one is, suppose French is not your first language, but English. This fact would be sent to the website so they could server you up the English version of the site, rather than the French version. Manage my Microsoft advertising and other personalisation info Clicking this link brings up your internet browser. On the right, you should see three items: Personalised ads in this browser, Personalised ads wherever I use my Microsoft account and Personalised ads in Windows. You can switch these first two on and off, depending on your preferences. For the third one, it's tied to the settings we saw previously, "Let apps use my advertising ID for experience across apps." So if you have this setting switched off, you won't get the personalised ads. Location Settings Another privacy setting worth exploring is Location: The location setting is more relevant to mobile and tablet users than it is to Desktop users. As you can see from the top of the image above, the Location for this device is on. Click the Change button to bring up a toggle switch where you can switch Location off. If you use maps on your PC then switching Location to on will give you a better service. Scroll down, though, and check which apps are using Location. There's a toggle switch next to each one, so that you can switch off the apps that don't really need to know where you are. We'll continue this lesson on Privacy Settings in the next tutorial.

Democrats on Capitol Hill and the 2020 campaign trail on Sunday expressed their sympathy over the death of former Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), one of the U.S.'s longest-serving black lawmakers. Conyers's fellow Democrats remembered the lawmaker in statements as a fighter for progressive causes such as single-payer healthcare and civil rights, pointing to his involvement in a congressional resolution apologizing for America's role in the slave trade among other legislation. "Saddened to hear of the passing of Congressman John Conyers," tweeted Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), former chair of the Congressional Black Caucus. "He was a tireless advocate for racial and economic justice for more than 50 years. As a CBC co-founder, he focused the nation's attention on inequality and so many overlooked issues. My heart is with his family today." "Rep.John Conyers had an historic and principled 53 years of service," added Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.), who also served in Congress with Conyers. "He passed the MLK holiday after a 15 year campaign. He hired Rosa Parks. The Congressional apology for slavery and Jim Crow would not have occurred without his support. He was kind to all and a mentor to me." "Our Congressman forever, John Conyers, Jr.," tweeted Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), who hails from the same state Conyers once represented. "He never once wavered in fighting for jobs, justice and peace. We always knew where he stood on issues of equality and civil rights in the fight for the people. Thank you Congressman Conyers for fighting for us for over 50 years." "John Conyers was a civil rights champion who served Michigan and the people of Detroit for decades. He began his career working for John Dingell, before running for Congress himself and they both believed in justice and equality for all," tweeted another Michigan congresswoman, Rep. Debbie Dingell (D).

A mandatory evacuation order stemming from the Kincade Fire in Northern California expanded from 50,000 to 90,000 residents Saturday night as the state’s largest utility company, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), planned to shut off power for an estimated 2.35 million residents over fears that high winds and low humidity would spread the blaze. The entire towns of Healdsburg and Windsor in Sonoma County, north of San Francisco, were under mandatory evacuation as the evacuation zone stretched from Healdsburg west through the Russian River Valley to Bodega Bay, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department. CALIFORNIA WILDFIRES FORCE MORE THAN 50,000 EVACUATIONS AFTER 'HISTORIC WIND EVENT,' MORE POWER SHUTOFFS Winds reaching up to 75 mph or more during a “historic wind event” this weekend could help spread the fire, which has already burned more than 26,000 acres, the National Weather Service said. The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office expects the evacuation to be the largest in more than 25 years with Sheriff Mark Essick saying it's the largest he's experienced in his 26-year career. The sheriff cited 24 deaths from a fire in the area two years ago while urging residents in the evacuation zones to leave. "I'm seeing people reporting that they're going to stay and fight this fire," Essick said. "You cannot fight this. Please evacuate."A PG&E meteorologist said it’s “likely that many trees will fall, branches will break," which could damage utility infrastructure and start a fire.PG&E started shutting off power in six phases, beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday and scheduled to end at 10 a.m. Sunday. CalFire (California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection) confirmed Saturday evening that the fire was 11 percent contained and more than 23,500 structures were in danger. Meanwhile, the 4,600-acre Tick Fire burning in Southern California near Santa Clarita has also prompted thousands of residents to evacuate. The Associated Press and Fox News' David Aaro contributed to this report.

Eric Trump says his family may be willing to sell the lease on the historic Trump International Hotel in Washington D.C., because of criticism the president uses the property to profit off his office. "People are objecting to us making so much money on the hotel and therefore we may be willing to sell," he said in a statement released today. In the statement, Eric Trump said the Trump Organization looks forward to working with Jones Lang Lasalle, a commercial real estate firm, to try to sell the property. "Since we opened our doors, we have received tremendous interest in this hotel and as real estate developers, we are always willing to explore our options," Trump said. The Wall Street Journal reports that the family is hoping to sell the property for $500 million, which would be one of the highest-priced deals in the history of the hotel industry. The Trump International is located in the Old Post Office building, which is owned by the federal government. It was leased to Trump well before he took office. The hotel regularly plays host to diplomats, lobbyists and other Washington power players, in what critics say can be an attempt to buy influence with the president. In his statement Eric Trump lavishly praises the property, calling it "the finest anywhere in the world." He also defends his father, saying he has repeatedly turned away business opportunities while in the White House. "He has made countless voluntary sacrifices, and while none of them are legally required, his commitment to turn away significant business during his time in office, is undoubtedly a selfless act and a major sacrifice," he said.

President Trump announced Wednesday that the United States will lift sanctions on Turkey, saying that the Turkish government has informed the White House that it will abide by what he characterized as a “permanent” cease-fire along the border with Syria. At a hastily organized event in the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House, Trump also used the occasion to justify his “America First” foreign policy agenda, pushing back against critics by arguing that he is removing U.S. troops from a region where they should not be involved. “Let someone else fight over this long-bloodstained sand,” Trump said. He took credit for the cease-fire and suggested the agreement would save tens of thousands of Kurdish lives in the region — even though one day earlier, Russia and Turkey agreed to a plan to push Syrian Kurdish fighters from a wide swath of territory just south of Turkey’s border, cementing Russian President Vladimir Putin’s preeminent role in Syria as American troops depart and U.S. influence wanes. The agreement will leave Turkey and Russia in control of territory formerly held by Kurdish forces once allied with the United States. The Trump administration had announced the sanctions on Oct. 14 after the Turkish military offensive against Kurdish-led forces in northern Syria. That offensive followed Trump’s announcement that he would pull U.S. troops from Syria — a decision that brought stiff, bipartisan criticism. In his remarks Wednesday, Trump called the cease-fire “permanent” but added that the word is a “questionable” one to use when discussing the region — and said sanctions on Turkey would be lifted “unless something happens that we’re not happy with.” Trump also said he had spoken by phone with Kurdish general Mazloum Abdi, who he said assured him that Islamic State fighters will remain in captivity.

In response to demand from a hard-core of performance enthusiasts Honda - for the very first time - in 2014 is producing the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP. A track-focused, yet fully road legal, version of the bike that not only looks special - it is special. The chassis wears circuit-ready front and rear Ohlins suspension plus Brembo four-piston mono block calipers, with frame revisions and new top and bottom yokes to suit. Honda's electronic Combined Anti-lock Brake System comes as standard, with software remapped appropriately. Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres are the finishing touch. The 999.8cc inline four-cylinder engine gets the same updated cylinder head as the standard 2014 CBR1000RR Fireblade, with improved inlet/exhaust gas flow and combustion efficiency, and the extra 2kW peak power boost. However it features factory-matched pistons and con-rods, to ensure optimum internal balance. As a track-focused machine there's no provision for a pillion and a sleek single seat unit saves weight. Further marking the SP version out from standard is its own unique Tricolour paint - white and two-tone blue, with a central red stripe and trademark Honda gold wheels. The CBR1000RR SP uses a new 'wave' design ignition key; it offers improved security and its compact size greatly reduces the chance of breakage. Also new is the fuel tank cap - it uses an improved breather design for better venting. Instrumentation is a multi-function LCD with a cockpit display dominated by the digital bar-type linear tachometer that scrolls left to right as engine speed increases. Beneath this are the main numerical readouts: gear position, coolant temperature, speedometer, clock/lap time, trip/fuel efficiency/fuel consumption and odometer/numerical tachometer. At the bottom of the display are lights for headlight high beam, neutral and indicators.
