  1. As the bishop emeritus of Brazil, Pedro Casaldáliga, points out, hunger does not wait and the first thing to do with those who are hungry is to feed them One more year, throughout these days a large operation is being carried out throughout Spain for the collection of food promoted by the Fesbal (Spanish Federation of Food Banks), which for this edition has proposed to exceed 450,000 kilos obtained last year. As the bishop emeritus of Brazil, Pedro Casaldáliga, points out, hunger does not wait and the first thing to do with those who are hungry is to feed them. Later all that of the cane will come, but above all to explain to him that the river is his. Few things in life are as important as food, to the point that our life and evolution have depended on the ability to have enough food for us and ours, wherever we are. However, despite the formidable advances in food production, hunger has always been present in the history of mankind, until the number of people who suffer from it is quantified with astonishing normality, as when we count the number of possessors from mobile phones or cars. We have ended up living with hunger as if it were an inevitable residue of our well-being, the result of situations of extreme poverty but also the consequence of human decisions and calculations through economic policies or destructive speculative practices. This is what has happened in Europe in the last decade at the hands of the harmful policies of expansive austerity applied, which have left a palpable trace of poverty, exclusion, inequality and also hunger, although less is said about it. And it is that hunger and the problems that hundreds of thousands of people have in countries like Spain to obtain the daily food necessary to live is not talked about. We have become accustomed to seeing queues in front of soup kitchens and humanitarian organizations, scavengers in containers, food bags or campaigns to collect food with astonishing normality, without realizing their meaning. In addition, we have delegated the care of these people to charitable organizations, as if we wanted to remove them from public institutions and make their existence invisible. But it is enough to visit the parishes and soup kitchens to see how people crowd every day to be able to have a plate of food or get a bag of food to take home. We are ashamed to certify that in countries like ours there are people who have problems eating, when what we should be ashamed of is that there are policies that generate people who do not have food, together with the lack of redistributive justice mechanisms. So we come to a halt, organizing extensive food drive drives, supposedly for people who can't get it, but we don't talk about those people and the reasons why they can't meet their essential needs. Food is requested but it is not required to eliminate the causes that lead all these people to depend on donations to eat, thus ignoring the right to food, a right guaranteed by international treaties signed by Spain, one of whose obligations is to "comply with the right to food directly when there are individuals or groups unable to enjoy the right to food through the means available to them ”, as signed before the United Nations in August 2013. A basic human right at the same level as others essential rights, such as education, health or housing. There is talk of the thousands of kilos of food obtained thanks to spontaneous contributions, without asking to reinforce the network of public social services or eliminate the policies that create misery, destroy jobs and allow starvation wages. Only employment and fair wages, together with comprehensive and effective social policies, will eliminate the poverty that forces so many citizens every day to turn to poor people's organizations to feed themselves, a figure that, according to research I have carried out, rises in Spain 1.29 million people a year. Naturally, it is very easy to collaborate with a package of rice or macaroni, but the collection between individuals, even allowing food to be supplied to people who need it, does not exceed a level of precariousness, atomization and instability that tends to distort the understanding of the problem about the you want to act. In fact, these annual food collections represent a very small amount compared to the 96.4 million kilos per year of food that are distributed each year in Spain through the Spanish Agrarian Guarantee Fund (FEGA) and which make Spain the European country that receives the most food. We have to ask ourselves if we want the distribution of food to become chronic in our country, transferring its responsibility to civil society and charitable organizations, or if we really want to abandon paternalistic and welfare thinking, defending the right to food and food sovereignty , requiring the participation of the beneficiaries in the distribution and distribution systems. Now, the thousands of people who contribute with our small gesture of solidarity one day a year should also become aware that a collective and political response is necessary to first alleviate, and later eradicate, the queues of hunger in Spain.

  2. Few are the luxury brands that are reluctant to launch a high-performance SUV model on the market. It all started with the Cayenne and X5, and now these types of cars are in brands such as Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini or Aston Martin. It seems that even Ferrari is considering the launch of a similar model. And, after all, the economic performance of these products is being brutal. Although it is not exactly my style of car, I admit that I am struck by seeing vehicles of such size and weight at high speeds. That is why I have a hard time resisting seeing acceleration races or the like with these luxurious and powerful SUVs. Today I found a very interesting dragrace, with the Aston Martin DBX and Lamborghini Urus as the protagonists. Hit play! The Lamborghini Urus is a true beast with the traditional character of Sant'Agata Bolognese vehicles. Aggressiveness in its design and aggressiveness in its set-up. Under the hood is a 4.0-liter V8 that delivers 650 hp and 850 Nm, which theoretically allows you to do the 0 to 100 in 3.6 seconds. Its top speed is 300 km / h. On the opposite side we have the Aston Martin DBX. Yes, it is an SUV with a performance engine, but the concept is not so much about performance, but about style, class, comfort and quality in the interior. It also has a 4.0-liter V8, but in this case it is satisfied with a somewhat lower performance, delivering 550 hp and 700 Nm, that is, 100 hp and 150 Nm less than the Urus. It goes from 0 to 100 in 4.5 seconds and the maximum speed is 290 km / h.

  3. Éver Banega has had the farewell dreamed of by any footballer. The Argentine puts an end to his stage as a Sevilla player by adding a new Europa League title to his record and there are three. All of them with Sevilla. His participation in the final was absolutely capital. He played an excellent game and two of his team's goals came out of his boots. Farewell: "I have no words for this emotional and at the same time a bit sad moment. I have to leave the club of my life but I am satisfied. I am leaving with another title, thanks to my teammates and I am leaving with my head held high." Strength of the dressing room: "The union of the dressing room above all things, knowing how to be in difficult moments. I want to thank all of them for making me win another cup and the coaching staff for taking us to the top." Hug with the coach: "The hug with Julen was one of love and work, all together because of what we went through in the year. When I lowered the piston he took me out and showed me that without work nothing can be achieved." Celebration: "Now I have to enjoy, take the cup to Seville, to the people who could not be but we feel close to them"

  4. Mobile applications have also reached the food sector to help us eat healthier In the field of nutrition, 'realfooding' has become the latest trend to help society change consumption habits for healthier ones. This translates into keeping ultra-processed products away from our fridge. Carlos Ríos has been the creator of this movement whose philosophy is based on eating the food that "our grandmothers made." The practice seems simple, but when push comes to shove, when we have to put the products in the shopping cart, we tend to include a lot of processed foods. Working life makes it difficult for us to find time each day to cook, but it is possible to combine a healthy diet with work. That's why when we go shopping we can't throw ourselves like crazy at precooked dishes. The more natural the products, the healthier. This combined with exercise, the best formula for a balanced diet. The nutritionist Carlos Ríos estimates that approximately 80% of the products that we can find in a supermarket are ultra-processed. To combat bad habits, it has launched a mobile application, MyRealFood, which allows scanning the bar code of food and returns nutritional information with a label that tells you if it is "Real food", "Good processed" or "Ultra processed". Consumers, smartphone in hand, will be able to scan the products in the supermarket to find out which ones they should not include in their shopping cart. But it is not the only mobile application. Another with similar characteristics is Yuka, with which they can scan food that scores from 1 to 100 according to the presence of additives and indicates if it is excellent, good, mediocre or bad. With this tool they can also scan cosmetic products in which it will indicate the presence of additives in creams, shampoos and other products. If a product or food is not considered good, recommendations will appear with similar ones that have a better score. Yuka or MyRealFood help us fill the shopping cart, but now do we know how to combine foods properly? Are we eating the ideal ratio of carbohydrates, protein and fat? There is also an application for it: Yazio. In their profile, they can add their weight and goal, and it will set a daily goal for calories and the carbohydrates, proteins and fats that they should eat at each meal. In this way, they will be able to contemplate the calories they are ingesting throughout the day and compensate in case of excess. Technology is making our lives easier every time. But do not forget that, although eating healthy is essential, if we add to the equation the practice of sports, we will find the right balance to lead a healthy lifestyle.

  5. The Audi RS Q8 is the top of the line when it comes to Audi sports SUVs. The SUV of coupe lines of the German brand is the first cousin of the Lamborghini Urus, leaving a nonsense of performance and raw power. Under the hood is a 4.0-liter V8 with 600 hp and 800 Nm. But there are always those who want more, especially when you have a good checking account. More features and more exclusivity. For this, the best specialist in the Volkswagen Group is the ABT Sportsline preparer, who now launches this spectacular ABT RSQ8-R. Its aesthetic gains power, as much as its mechanics. ABT launches one of its special editions. In this case, only 125 units of the brutal ABT RSQ8-R will be manufactured. In addition, the 125 units coincide with his birthday, as the coach has been fighting for 125 years in this exciting world. One unit for each year of history. But focusing on this exclusive preparation, the specialist has managed to extract no less than 740 hp and 920 Nm of torque from the supercharged V8 block. This allows you to obtain a top speed of 315 km / h. Yes, 315 km / h in a large SUV. Crazy! Among other things, the control unit has been reprogrammed, in addition to using a new intercooler and a new stainless steel exhaust system. There are four carbon outlets with a diameter of 102 mm each. As you can see in the images, on a visual level it is a totally radical car; something that increases with the color used for its bodywork. The aesthetic touches make it a striking car at a glance, in case the stock RS Q8 wasn't enough. He looks very short and aggressive. It features an aerodynamic package, multiple carbon fiber exterior accents and massive weight-optimized 23-inch ABT High Performance wheels, which are fitted with 295/35 size tires. The interior also has specific details where the carbon fiber is once again overflowing, as well as some remarkable embroidered sports seats. There is also an emblem with the unit number of this limited edition.

  6. The Rockets are already one step closer to qualifying after defeating the Thunder 111-98, in a duel that the Houston team did not get back on track until the fourth quarter thanks to a 15-0 run. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (31 points and 6 rebounds) was a different player from the first game and he maintained hope for his team, along with Gallinari (17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists). Harden (21 points, 9 assists and 5 rebounds) for his part finished with a very poor 2/11 in triples -and Eric Gordon 0/10- but pulled his team in the final minutes to lead Billy Donovan's men with 10 points . Most 3s without scoring in a playoff game 1. 1994 John Starks: 11 2. 2018 James Harden: 11 3. 2018 Terry Rozier: 10 4. TODAY Eric Gordon: 10 After the hit in the first game, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a lot to prove - like Dennis Schroder - and he threw the team behind him. Both the Canadian and the German produced for their team before the break more than in the entire first match. Gilgeous-Alexander scored 9 points in 9 minutes and was perfectly escorted by Gallinari, who is contributing a lot in this series. Regardless, there were the Rockets, a machine designed by Mike D'Antoni, who set the pace to make 8 of 16 on triples in the first quarter (35-30). Huge hit and zero turnovers. And if Harden came out wanting - then came a drought phase - Austin Rivers was the one who was most in tune in the second act, getting to lift 'la Barba' from his seat on the bench with a spectacular dunk. The D'Antoni method is spectacular when there is success in the shot, but it also brings out the colors of his players when the triples do not enter as, it happened in the second quarter (2/19). Schroder and Chris Paul had good minutes. 59-53 for Thunder at halftime. Gilgeous-Alexander's figure was key to keeping Oklahoma afloat in the third quarter, which went on to suffer an 11-0 run despite the erratic Harden. Very close score, 78-77 for Billy Donovan's men, after finishing the third quarter. It was then that Jeff Green emerged to give wings to Houston and put a distance of 12 points after a 15-0 run, accompanied by 'la Barba', who dedicated himself to distributing the game before his final recital. Danuel House Jr (19 points, 9 rebounds) also showed that he should not be forgotten. In the final minutes, it was Harden who assumed responsibility and ended up aiming for a City Thunder that will have a very difficult comeback.

  7. A very simple way to lose weight without effort and if you do not have time to exercise And with it come dinners, business lunches and putting aside the healthy routine to let ourselves be carried away by the excesses of some dates. In a few days, many people will promise to lose weight and join a gym for the new year. When it comes to losing weight and wanting to follow a healthier routine, there is a maxim that you must be very clear about and that is practically always fulfilled: there are no miracle diets. It is true that starting to lose those extra kilos is a difficult and tedious routine, especially for those who have never been on a diet or who hardly exercise. Patience and being consistent in eating are two fundamental pillars on the way to weight loss (in this link we show you the three keys to lose fat effectively). Also, you should keep in mind that exercising is as important as eating well. Be careful, this does not mean that you should spend countless hours running on a treadmill or elliptical machine or sacrifice your leisure time in the gym. There are different routines that you can do without leaving home and with which you will notice incredible results (in this link we were talking about the fashionable exercise that more and more people are joining to lose weight in just a few minutes). However, when starting a healthy routine there is only one food that you should remove from your diet in order to achieve optimal results. It's about the sugar. By banishing this product from your diet you will lose up to five kilos in a single month. What foods are the main ones that you should eliminate? Sugary drinks, pastries, industrial products. Taking care of eating the most important meals of the day such as breakfast translates into surprising results in the short term. Eating healthy is not synonymous with eating only lettuce and tomato salads or starving at all times (in this link we talked about the food that you should consume four tablespoons a day to lose weight without effort). There are many low-calorie foods that are a fundamental ally to cope with the diet and use as a snack between meals. It is also very important to be clear that you have to forget about alcohol. These types of drinks are, like soft drinks, the ones that make you the most fat, and they can also lead to health problems. Beer, believe it or not, is the least fattening and cocktails or mixed drinks the most. It is also essential to get away from those "pleasures" for many such as pastries, chocolate palms and other sweets that, no matter how tasty they are, will only make us gain kilos.

  8. Do you remember Morris Garages? We refer to MG, the same one that walked hand in hand with Rover until bankruptcy separated them forever. This mythical English firm, thanks to the money of the Chinese manufacturer SAIC, has been able to resurface, although not as more than one fan of the automotive sector would have liked. The proof is that the European market does not accept it, showing total indifference to the models it has launched. However, its fate has been very different in other regions of the world. The proof is in the reception it has had in areas such as South America or Asia. This situation has been due to the fact that they have managed to create an attractive range of models that stands out for a highly valued price-product ratio. Now they return to the fray with the new MG Gloster, which in its own right will be their biggest, most complete and luxurious all-road. On a technical level the MG Gloster is based on the Maxus D90 The official debut of the MG Gloster took place a few months ago, but it will not be until now that it has an event of its own. On a technical level, it is a carbon copy of the Maxus D90, so it will keep the 5 meters in length, 1.93 meters in width and 1.87 meters in height. The wheelbase remains at 2.95 meters, the same as the D90 ladder chassis. However, and although the aesthetic is also shared, there would be some differences. Highlights include an octagonal grille with chrome slats, LED headlights with DRL daytime running lights, round chrome bezel fog lamps, and sculpted bumpers and hood. Also featured is a set of two-tone alloy wheels, bold shoulder creases, chrome around the window line, chrome door handles, LED taillights and roof rails. Regarding the interior there are no images yet, although it is likely that it shares a large number of elements with the Maxus D90. However, the infotainment system that includes the i-Smart voice control system that understands more than 100 voice commands will stand out. In addition, it will come with an integrated e-SIM that is independent of the user's phone to service the suite of applications and integrated navigation system. Finally, it is time to talk about the mechanical family. First there will be a 2.0-liter turbo petrol block paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. The second option is provided by a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel engine mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The first generates 224 hp of power and 360 Nm of maximum torque, while the second offers 217 hp and a maximum torque of 480 Nm. However, and although it offers an attractive design and a high level of technology, do not expect it in Europe. For now it will be available in India, although later it could reach countries such as Brazil or Argentina.

  9. Playing on his knees due to a painful back injury produced after swimming this morning, Magnus Carlsen won the sixth heat against Hikaru Nakamura (3-1) and tied the score at 3 for the final of the circuit that his name. This Thursday the seventh and final manga will be played and it can be followed, starting at 4:00 p.m., on the MARCA channel on YouTube. Carlsen did not get to the point of being lying on a stretcher like the late and remembered English grandmaster Anthony Miles did in the 1985 Tilgurg (Holland) Tournament in images that went around the world. An injury that far from taking him away from the top positions allowed him to share the first place together with Viktor Korchnoi (Russia), three times runner-up in the world, and Candidates finalist Robert Hübner (Germany). Today the number one, in an extreme situation, played at a high level and far from trying to play calmly, already in the opening game he launched himself on Nakamura with two pawn and one knight sacrifices that ended victoriously. The American defended himself at a great level, but in the end he did not find the correct defensive plan and ended up bowing the king. In the second, the game was quite balanced; however, Nakamura had a winning shot in a difficult draw finish that ended in a draw. A hard blow that gave Carlsen wings. The third ended with a quick draw after the champion proposed a totally even and theoretical scheme, disdaining any option to aspire to something with the white pieces. A tie in just 17 moves and everything was left again, like yesterday, to a decisive fight in which Nakamura, with White, would press and try to set the board on fire. Interestingly, Carlsen dropped from his knees and settled into his comfortable executive chair. He took energy for melee and emerged victorious from the exchange of blows. The king of chess in its purest form, without caring about any adversity and with victory as the best balm against back pain. A whole show that today will have its final result. The least of it is almost who wins; the most, the spectacle given by two extraordinary athletes.

  10. Experts give the keys to lose weight because overweight people are at risk from the coronavirus There is no specific diet or certain foods that help prevent the spread of COVID-19, but we must strengthen the immune system against any virus with vitamin D, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, since this diet can help the prognosis of an affected person with a more weakened system is less serious. People with comorbidity and a weakened immune system are more likely to worsen their prognosis, hence it is necessary to be prepared with a good diet in the face of virus attacks. These are the recommendations of Paula Crespo, president of the College of Dietitians-Nutritionists of Valencia. Foods to strengthen the immune system The vitamin D that eggs, sardines, salmon, avocado have; calcium from dairy; and those foods rich in antioxidants and minerals, mainly fruits and vegetables, are perfect for strengthening the immune system. But it is not enough to eat these foods, you also have to do it in a varied way because each antioxidant or mineral has its function. "It is useless if we eat a lot of one thing and neglect other foods," says the expert. Regarding fruits and vegetables, the ideal would be to take two servings a day of vegetables, one of them raw, and three of fruit. Lose weight against the coronavirus Crespo advocates that measures that promote weight reduction in the general po[CENSORED]tion are placed at the same level as hygienic and social distancing measures. People with obesity are at risk for the coronavirus even if they do not have other pathologies such as respiratory diseases or cancer, according to the president of the College of Nutritionists, since weight reduction "is a way of prevention to avoid major complications and reduce the severity of the risks. " What to eat to be healthy and not gain weight? Having natural or roasted nuts at home, cans of canned vegetables or fish (sardines, mackerel, tuna) in natural or olive oil, frozen or canned vegetables would constitute "a good pantry bottom" to go back to another lockdown. As for fruits, the less watery ones such as bananas, strawberries, red fruits and kiwi can be frozen and used to, for example, prepare homemade ice cream. The same with the basic meat and fish, which can be frozen at the moment. Legumes are also part of this fundamental pantry, but not the "forbidden foods", which are the same that we should avoid "in freedom": sweets, pastries, packaged juices, sugary and energy drinks and sugary breakfast cereals. This "never, and less confined", warns the nutritionist. Crespo has warned that a recent survey highlights that there is 23% of the Spanish po[CENSORED]tion overweight and 17% with obesity, very high data that reflect "an obesity pandemic", which constitutes a public health problem in a developed country . What is wrong? There is much more regulation in advertising of unhealthy or not recommended products and, in the educational field, he insists, a subject of nutritional education in Primary Education. Studies done in Japan reveal that the nutrition course taught in schools was effective in reducing the po[CENSORED]tion's weight, which shows its need, Crespo has reiterated.

  11. The history of the RAM 1500 TRX dates back to 2016. At that time, the FCA Group showed the entire world the Rebel TRX concept, a design exercise that featured the supercharged Hellcat V8 block under its hood. At the time, the Italian-American consortium division did not announce whether it would build a rival for the all-powerful Ford F-150 Raptor. However, those most loyal to the brand and the model have encouraged her to do so. For this reason, after four years of development and fine-tuning it is here. The RAM 1500 TRX, as defined by the brand, is the "supreme predator of the pickup world", a statement of intent. And we cannot deny that they are right, because with the data in hand we realize that there is no other similar model on the market. If you like it, we will tell you all its secrets, although you will imagine that it will not reach Europe ... The aesthetics of the RAM 1500 TRX is aggressive and robust in equal measure On an aesthetic level the RAM 1500 TRX is based on its brother. However, those responsible for the project have included new elements that help make the whole more aggressive. Thus, we find a very powerful front that is dominated by a large grille flanked by optical groups with LED technology. Interestingly, the bumper is not as aggressive as we expected, although it does not clash on the whole. On the hood we have a large functional air intake that, inside, is illuminated. Additionally, it has two other exits located on the sides. The ground clearance is considerable, helping the off-road qualities to be remarkable. All this adorned with black plastic protections so that the body does not suffer in the field. Here, too, the alloy wheels finished in glossy black stand out. Finally take a look behind. Here we also find changes, mainly focused on the name "RAM" in black. The light clusters are darkened as are the bumpers or the dual tailpipes. Still, your imprint can be further hardened, especially if you opt for items available in the Mopar Accessories Catalog. Among them are the ceiling lights or the winch. RAM has managed to create a quality interior with a high technological level If we move inside, the RAM 1500 TRX positively surprises. We are no longer facing a product of fair quality and cheap materials. On the contrary, those responsible for the FCA Group have wanted the most sporty model of this firm to be a reference in terms of materials and technology. Thus, the seats dressed in Alcantara in black and red tones with contrasting stitching or the interior inserts stand out above all. At the equipment level, the TRX is available in two versions TR1 and TR2. Thus, we find elements such as a thicker steering wheel, a digital screen for the instrument panel or a digital rear-view mirror with a built-in rear-view camera. In terms of design, the basic lines have not been altered, with a large central vertical touch screen. Where if there are changes it is in the gear selector, which becomes traditional. Brute force: 6.2 V8 HEMI with 711 hp and 881 Nm of maximum torque All in all, the really important thing about the RAM 1500 TRX is under its body. On a technical level, the similarities with his less brother are many, but the reinforcements and improvements can be counted in the hundreds. Serve as proof that the maximum towing capacity is 3,675 kilos or that it can carry up to 595 kilos. Its most direct competitor, the Ford F-150 Raptor, is satisfied with 3,628 kilos and 544 kilos respectively. This is due, among many other things, to the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V8 block under its hood. Its performance, as announced by the FCA Group, is really high, with 711 hp and a maximum torque of 881 Nm. For its management it relies on an automatic cut-off transmission by TorqueFlite converter with 8 relations. All in all, the engine's power reaches the ground through all four wheels. To improve field effectiveness, the TRX has three off-road driving modes: Mud / Sand, Rock and Baja. To this we must add that the wading capacity in water is really good, with 82 centimeters. Still, performance is not a problem either, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.5 seconds and a maximum (limited) of 190 kilometers per hour. When will the RAM 1500 TRX hit the market? The RAM 1500 TRX Launch Edition is now available in the brand's configurator. The entry into production, in the center that the FCA Group has in Sterling Heights (Michigan) will take place in a few weeks. The idea is that the first units reach their customers before the end of the year, although Covid-19 could delay the deadlines if new closures occur. Of course, if you expect to see it shoot in Europe, we are sorry to say that no, it is not planned.

  12. Ángel di María received the award as the MVP of the match. The Argentine gave two assists and scored one of the three goals his team achieved against Leizpig. Di María left everything on the field of play until he was substituted three minutes from the end. El Fideo was grateful for being recognized as the best player of the match: "I am very happy for the award. It belongs to everyone. We did a great job. I came to Paris to make history and we have reached the final." Assessment of the match: "It was us. The match was at 50 percent. If we went out with all the energy, we could achieve it. From the first minute we went out to eat the rival." The final: "It will be difficult to sleep from today until the final day. The important thing is to work the game. The French and German leagues are at a high level." Good memories of Lisbon: "With Real Madrid I won it here in Lisbon. I have good feelings because we are at a very good level. The strongest is the group. Whoever plays. We are one step away from making history." Nasser al Khelaifi PSG owner Nasser al Khelaifi was emotional at the conclusion of the match for the final pass: "It's a dream. Hopefully we win on Sunday. It's a historic night and I can't feel better. It's a very important day for me, for the club and for the members. Our fans have been looking for this for a long time. We are very close to fulfilling a dream, "he said.

  13. Some signs can give us clues about whether the packaged food is spoiled The preserves are increasingly present in our day to day. Lack of time and our fast pace of life have made it common for many to turn to canned food. Vegetables, meat, fish, prepared dishes ... There are many foods that we can find packed in cans and jars. Food packaged in cans and cans is a fast, simple and economical way, and they also allow to be stored for long periods of time, hence the secret of its success. However, these types of foods can carry some risks if they are in bad condition. The problem is that due to their characteristics it is not easy to know if they have been damaged and, therefore, if they can make us feel bad. A food stored in a jar or a can has the ideal conditions to be kept in good condition for longer than a fresh food. The fact of being presented in hermetic and vacuum-sealed containers after undergoing a thermal process guarantees the destruction of microorganisms and possible pathogens. In addition, the quality controls to which all preserves are subjected minimize possible risks. However, sometimes these products can also go bad, due to possible errors in handling, transport or storage, for example. For this reason, it is important to know how to identify when a preserve is in poor condition. Although these are not infallible tricks, there are certain signs that can make us think that a preserve is not in its optimal condition. If so, avoid the risks and don't eat it. - When we open a bottle we should feel resistance in the container cap and hear the typical 'plof'. If not, it may be a sign that the product is bad. - We must also be very cautious if we observe that the liquid is cloudy - Do not eat food that is in a bulky container - Reject cans that show dings, dents, rust and, of course, perforations, as they may have compromised the integrity of the hermetic seal. - Beware of cans whose lid moves (making the typical 'click clack' noise - Do not trust a product that, when opened, releases a lot of air or liquid under pressure - Pay attention to your sight and smell. If the food of a food is suspicious to you, heal yourself and do not eat it. Nor if you notice that it smells bad or gives off a strange smell. - Be very careful with consuming a product in which we observe bubbles after being opened, as it can indicate the presence of bacteria. The same happens if we see foam. - It is normal to perceive a soft hiss when we open a can, but it is not so if this hiss is sharp and loud.

  14. Although Porsche had long ago claimed that the Nürburgring times were not important data for them, they also do not resist those tests that, more than anything, serve as a marketing campaign. They recently announced that their new Porsche Panamera, which will be presented in a few weeks, has been rolling hard on the old Nordschleife. The test driver was Lars Kern, who completed a full lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife in just 7: 29.81 with the new Panamera. In theory it is the new record among the "large saloons" within the ranking of the Nürburgring GmbH and has been notarized. This record was achieved on July 24 at 1:49 p.m., when there was an ambient temperature of 22 degrees and 34 degrees on the asphalt. 13 seconds faster than before In 2016, Lars Kern already completed the lap of the circuit in a time of 7: 38.46 minutes at the wheel of a 550 hp Panamera Turbo; At that time, the test was carried out on the usual 20.6-kilometer route for record attempts, that is, without the 200-meter section of grandstand number 13. In accordance with the new statutes of the Nürburgring GmbH, time has now been measured over the entire distance of the Nordschleife section, 20,832 kilometers. According to the stopwatch, Lars Kern and the new Panamera passed the 20.6 km mark in 7: 25.04 minutes. Therefore, they have been about 13 seconds faster than in 2016. Completely standard, although with security measures By the way, the car used was fully standard except for the introduction of a safety cage and a racing seat to guarantee maximum driver safety in the event of an accident. Everything else was standard, although it had camouflage as the update for this model has not yet been revealed. The tires used were the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2, which are optional and developed specifically for this car. “The improvements made to the chassis and powertrain of the new Panamera were key to achieving this time in what is known as the most demanding circuit in the world. The new tuning of the electromechanical anti-roll system gives the Panamera incredible stability even in the most bumpy areas, ”declared pilot Lars Kern.

  15. The Denver Nuggets beat the Utah Jazz in overtime after a spectacular game in which Donovan Mitchell (57 points) scored the third-best score in playoff history. Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic were the best in the Colorado franchise, ultimately decisive in the final stretch to seal the first point in the playoff series. Murray, with 36 points, including 10 in overtime, became the key figure to end up beating a Jazz in overtime that did not give up thanks in part to a stellar Mitchell. The key was also in the choral contribution of the Denver players (six in double-digit scoring), with a great Jerami Grant, author of 19. For Utah, Joe Ingles was the second best man with another 19 points. Gobert lost his particular duel with Jokic and stayed at 17 + 7, far from his level. After hitting Denver first, the next game in the series will be played on Wednesday. A huge game to open your mouth in some Playoffs that have started in an extraordinary way.

  16. A study from the Ruhr University of Bochum in Germany showed that the SARS-CoV-2 virus could lose strength with the use of some commercially available mouthwashes. The efficacy of these products was verified with cell experiments performed by virologists. The study was published in the Journal of Infectious Diseases. According to the virologists, after the analysis, infected people can have significant viral loads in the mouth and throat, the use of these oral cleaning products could reduce it and with it the risk of contagion also falls. The experts mixed mouthwashes with different ingredients, available in pharmacies with particles of the virus. They shaken the mixture for 30 seconds to simulate the effect of gargling and then analyzed the cells to determine the concentration of the virus. "All the preparations tested reduced the initial concentration of the virus. Three mouthwashes reduced it to such an extent that no virus could be detected after an exposure time of 30 seconds," the experts explained. However, the scientists cautioned that these products should not be used to treat the virus. They should not be ingested either, as they only help reduce the viral load in the oral cavity.

  17. Europe is very big, but compared to the rest of the continents it is a speck of dust. We could apply this same comparison to the variety of models that shape your automotive sector. Due to the idiosyncrasies of our countries, the models sold here are of moderate size and a specific profile. However, outside our borders there is so much variety that more than one fan should know it before it expires. Now that SUV's are so fashionable, I'm going to talk about the Toyota Sequoia. This mammoth all-road is for sale in the United States and certain countries in Asia and Africa. Seeing it on our roads would be unthinkable, among other things because it is based on another model that would not fit on them either: the Toyota Tundra. Both are mythical models for the Japanese firm and therefore they have decided to update it, although with certain restrictions. At a technical level, the Toyota Sequoia is based on the Tundra pickup For those of you who don't know, the current generation Toyota Sequoia has been around for thirteen years. Yes, the second iteration hit the world in 2007 and throughout this time it has remained at the top of the sales list without major changes. However, to prevent competition from stepping on the ground, those responsible for the brand have decided that it is time to update it, although contrary to what it might seem, there will be no third generation. Instead, for the 2021 model year they have opted to include a version called Nightshade Special Edition. To increase their exclusivity, they will dress their bodywork in the new Midnight Black, Magnetic Gray or Blizzard Pearl shades. Add to that the darkened chrome logos, fog lamp frames, lower grille and body moldings. Inside, we have a new black leather upholstery. The second modification comes from the hand of a new finish called TRD Pro. In its case, it enjoys the Lunar Rock tone although optionally you can also choose between Midnight Black, Magnetic Gray or Super White. And so far the changes, since the rest of the elements that make up the personality of the Sequoia do not vary one iota, including its generous cabin for 8 occupants. The commercial launch of the revamped Toyota Sequoia will take place in the coming weeks. To talk about the third generation, we will have to wait one or two years, as it is not expected to be presented until 2022 as a 2023 model. It will be necessary to see if the brand maintains its approach or if it mutates into a more refined and hybrid product. Time to time.

  18. After the peak of qualifying excitement, with Marco Andretti signed the pole with an illustrious surname, the chapter of the 'qualy' closed and the race began again. All 33 drivers enjoyed three hours of practice with race power ... and everything was level again. The traffic, the squads and the long runs returned and there Chevrolet and Honda were mixed again in the final speed table. Some things, however, did not change, as it was Andretti again who topped the classification with a best lap of 224.122 mph. Alonso made good use of the time since he added 115 laps in the bag with a McLaren that returned to respond to a more than decent level. At the start of the session he clocked a 220.745 mph that allowed the # 66 to be seen again at the top of the marker pylon at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. However, the best laps were achieved in the second part of the session and there the McLarens came out to give themselves a morale boost with O'Ward's eighth (222.760 mph) and Alonso's eleventh (222.353 mph). But the core of the McLaren's work was on long 30-lap runs, simulating race stints. There the British cars also performed at a good level, with the Spaniard (who had a little scare while spinning in the pits) consistently in the top ten. It was not the only setback for one of the illustrious drivers on the grid. None other than Scott Dixon, who touched pole just a couple of hours earlier, crashed his Ganassi into the wall at the exit of Turn 4 (the same one in which Alonso had a good scare on Thursday) although fortunately for the New Zealander with little damage.

  19. Consumption of unhealthy foods, such as processed meats and sugary drinks, has overtaken the consumption of healthy products, such as fruits and vegetables, in the last two decades in most parts of the world, according to a report published today (February 19, 2015) by the British journal The Lancet Global Health. An international team of researchers, led by Fumiaki Imamura, of the University of Cambridge (UK), conducted a study to assess the quality of the diet in 187 countries, with a po[CENSORED]tion of almost 4.5 billion adults. The authors of the research warn that the study presents a "worrying outlook" due to the increase in unhealthy eating habits and assure that a joint action is necessary to reverse this trend. People living in some of the richest regions of the world, such as the United States, Canada, and Australia, follow the poorest-quality diets due to their high consumption of unhealthy foods. Even so, the study reveals that, between the years 1990 and 2010, the quality of the diet has improved somewhat in the richest countries, with a modest reduction in the consumption of unhealthy foods and an increase in the consumption of healthy products. In contrast, some countries in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia, such as China and India, have not shown any improvement in the quality of their diet in the last twenty years. The group of researchers analyzed data on the consumption of 17 foods and key nutrients that are linked to obesity and the main non-communicable diseases, such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases, as well as changes in people's diets during those Two decades. The study notes that low-wealth countries such as Mali, as well as Mediterranean regions such as Turkey and Greece, consume more healthy foods, "possibly reflecting favorable aspects of the Mediterranean diet," the report stresses. In contrast, some countries in central Europe and the republics of the former Soviet Union, such as Uzbekistan or Turkmenistan, consume less healthy food. The study showed that, in general, older people and women follow better diets, with healthier foods. "By 2020, projections indicate that non-communicable diseases will account for 75% of all deaths. So improving diet plays a crucial role in reducing this percentage," Imamura says in The Lancet Global Health. Furthermore, he added, "The results of this study have implications for governments and international organizations around the world. These trends indicate the need to understand different causes that lead to this situation, such as the practices of the agricultural and food industry, as well as health policy ". According to the study authors, political action "is essential" to help people achieve an optimal diet, control the obesity epidemic and reduce non-communicable diseases around the world.

  20. The Covid-19 crisis has forced brands to modify their marketing and communication programs. One of the most striking, due to its activities, is the annual Easter Jeep Safari held in Moab, Utah (United States). With this event, the all-terrain firm of the FCA Group rewards the loyalty of its customers while offering succulent surprises. One of the ones I had in store for this year is the Jeep Gladiator Farout Concept. As its name suggests, we are not looking at a rebooted Wrangler, but a derivation of the Gladiator pickup. In fact, this prototype is the definitive version of the Gladiator Wayout that they presented last year at this same event. Moreover, unlike other concepts, this one could reach the assembly line and more so now that the competition is offering very attractive products. We tell you what this prototype hides ... Jeep Gladiator Farout Concept had to debut at Easter Jeep Safari Although we are still facing a prototype, the Jeep Gladiator Farout Concept is very faithful to the model from which it is derived. The main change in style that there is with respect to its brother in the range focuses on the cabin that they have arranged on the cargo bathtub. This mobile tent, which is how Jeep defines it, opens and closes in a few seconds and serves to provide shelter and accommodation for four people. There are no images of the interior, but the brand assures that it is clad in wood and has a sophisticated ambient light system. To facilitate life on board they have arranged several shelves, space for tables, integrated seats, a refrigerator or a camping kitchen. Already, in the space dedicated to driving we have seats upholstered in dark blue leather with contrasting stitching in orange tone and flannel inserts. On a technical level, the Jeep Gladiator Farout Concept uses the 3.0 V6 EcoDiesel block that the Wrangler already mounts. However, for this occasion they have introduced some improvements to increase performance. Thus, it offers a final power of 262 hp and 599 Nm of maximum torque. The force of the set reaches the ground through the four wheels, being managed by an 8-speed automatic transmission. The arrival of this version has yet to receive the green light, but everything indicates that it could be available at the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021. It will be necessary to see what is its reception and if the FCA Group is willing to take that risk.

  21. Magnus Carlsen equaled the score (1-1) in the final of the last tournament of the circuit that bears his name, endowed with $ 300,000 in prizes (255 thousand euros), after winning the second of the seven scheduled races against Hikaru Nakamura. The world champion began losing and achieved the victory (3,5,2,5) in the sixth game, second of the tiebreaker. The third sleeve will be played tomorrow from 4:00 p.m. and can be followed on the MARCA channel on YouTube. When he suffered more pressure, with an adverse score and a rival playing the counter and giving up taking advantage with the white pieces, Carlsen showed his best game and the necessary calm after being on the edge of the abyss. He saved, using a tennis simile, a match ball and although it was not brilliantly - the position was not for it - if effectively. Carlsen is clearly the best in the world in games at normal pace (90 + 30) and fast (15 + 10): in lightning (3 + 2 or 5 minutes), the number one is Nakamura. This one, with his tactical chess, with a great instinct to know how to navigate the seas of tactical complications, is one of the few great masters who forces the world champion to be very, very concentrated, apart from giving him added motivation. They are encounters loaded with psychological nuances, which makes them very attractive from all points of view. In the first game, Carlsen played with the white pieces as if he were Nakamura. On the attack, sacrificing material, as if wanting to show his adversary that he had no problem in taking the fight to his land. A strategy that in view of the development of the game was not fortunate since the Norwegian was always in tow, with less time, and was left with less tower and without real possibilities of aspiring to something positive. At one point, according to the computers, he had a choice of tables, but with so little time it was almost impossible for a human player to see, even if he was the world champion. The afternoon started badly for Carlsen, who in the second set with the black pieces the tie in just 14 movements with a variant tabletop of the Berlin defense against the Spanish Apertura. Nakamura's plan was to add without risking and if he achieved that same result in the third game, his chances of winning the second round would be close to 90%. Carlsen was only worth the victory in the third game and opted for a maneuvering approach, of patience, with fighting on both flanks. The American came to have an advantage, however, it was not a position he likes the most and he gave the initiative to his rival. It was not a huge advantage for any other chess player, enough for Carlsen to even the score. The fourth game was assumed to be an exchange of blows. It was not so. Nakamura, in an unusual event, repeated the same line as the second one and the fight concluded in the distribution of the point in, again, 14 movements. Exact copy that in a face-to-face competition and not online would surely have deserved a call to attention to the two participants. The American gave up trying to fight for the victory with the white pieces -an advantage among super-elite players- and in the fifth -first tiebreaker in the 5 + 3- modality, he did not manage to disturb Carlsen at any time before getting the distribution of the point in 75 movements. Everything was decided in the sixth game. Nakamura, against the same opening of the 2nd and 4th, played more incisively. What happened is that far from causing Carlsen's mistake, it was he who made a decisive mistake that ended up costing him the point and the second set. His nerves played a trick on him and that is that giving up the advantage of the white pieces twice is, a priori, losing opportunities against the world champion, as happened at the end. It could, as an exception, have turned out well. There was none and Nakamura will have to continue complicating the games everything and more if he wants to win 4 sets against Carlsen. Very difficult mission with this format, although not impossible.

  22. Planning our diet well is essential to maintain balance on a day-to-day basis The coronavirus crisis has made our habits and activities change. Working and studying from home, getting fit in the classroom, communicating through video calls or eating homemade food every day are some of the guidelines that we carry out daily during confinement. Planning our tasks and our meals well is essential to maintain order and balance in our daily lives. Avoid buying more or less is something we must learn, especially in the face of the next Easter holidays. To make this planning easier for you, Unilever Spain has prepared a list of ten recommendations to reduce food waste in households. Through the 'Practical Guide to reduce Food Waste', prepared jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment, consumers will be able to enjoy this "essential tool at times like the present to avoid waste at this time of confinement ", says Ana Palencia, Director of Communication and Sustainability at Unilever Spain. Here are 10 tips to reduce food waste and thus have a most efficient pantry: 1. Organization: a trick to organize food in your pantry or fridge is to put first those products that expire earlier. Order helps to combat waste. 2. Freezer: surely many of the foods you are storing have a very short shelf life. Freeze them and thus prevent them from going bad. Making it in reusable transparent bags will help you be more respectful of the planet and know what you keep in the freezer. 3. Calendar: review your shopping list before going to the supermarket and design the menus for the next few weeks in advance. 4. Batch cooking: choose an afternoon and prepare all the lunches and dinners for the week. In this way you will take advantage of resources and considerably reduce the amount of leftovers that end up in the garbage. 5. Moderation: adjust the recipes to the number of diners and serve moderate portions. It is always better to repeat than to leave food on the plate. 6. Awareness: before going out to buy again, see if you can make a recipe with the food that you have left in the pantry. You will contribute to its use and, if you stay at home, you will contribute to not spreading the pandemic. 7. Pedagogy: these days many families are confined with children at home. Take advantage of this time to cook with them and let them learn the value and importance of food. 8. Reuse: if you have leftover food in the casserole, choose to reuse through new recipes. You can easily find creative ideas that will allow you to give a second life to food in an original and simple way. 9. Digitization: there are programs and applications to better monitor the products purchased. They are very useful when designing menus and preventing waste. 10. Recycled: you can keep going out to dump the trash, so you have no excuse. Recycle the containers of all the food and products you buy, while the confinement lasts and when it ends.

  23. The official presentation of the long-awaited Lucid Air was scheduled for the last New York Auto Show. This event was supposed to take place last March, but the Coronavirus crisis forced those responsible to cancel it. That being the case, the creators of this electric sedan decided to take some time. In this way, they could calmly finalize all the details that were still pending in the project. However, it seems that they have already finished and have moved on to another phase of the plan. In this case, they want to scare their main rivals, because they are dealing with an issue that worries customers. We refer to the autonomy of its electrical system, since it is the main element that prevents use in all kinds of situations. For this, they have submitted their product for approval, obtaining an average consumption that Tesla itself would like. The Lucid Air will finally debut on September 9 According to the CEO of Lucid Motors, Peter Rawlinson, the average range approved by the Air is 517 miles. If we translate this number into kilometers we have a really high figure: 832. Apparently this data has been obtained using the EPA homologation method, the same one that Tesla uses to measure the range of its cars. In fact, if we take it for granted, it would leave the Model S behind by more than a hundred miles. To carry out the certification, they would have used a test bench from a third company. In this way, they state that there is no possible mani[CENSORED]tion or propaganda behind this announcement. However, this figure can only be possible thanks to two factors. On the one hand the capacity of the battery, which will range between 110 and 130 kWh. On the other, the very low coefficient of aerodynamic penetration that they have announced, standing at 0.21. It remains to be seen whether Tesla or Porsche allow Lucid Motors to rise to the throne of electrification. For now, the official presentation of Air is scheduled for next Wednesday, September 9. It will be then when we know all your technical data and price list. The success of the project depends, and a lot, on your fee, so those responsible will have to do very fine.
