  1. Microsoft has announced that its Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered assistant, Copilot, has also arrived in the Windows 10 version with a recent system update, months after landing on Windows 11. Copilot is already part of different company services and reached the latest version of the operating system developed by the company with the 23H2 update last September, after several preliminary versions for testers.Microsoft has now commented on its blog that Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.3757 (KB5032278) is now available for download for Insider channel users, an update that Copilot implements in preview for Windows 10 Home and Pro versions. The company has commented that Copilot will arrive gradually through controlled feature rollout (CFR) over the coming months and has warned that it may take "a while" for some devices to appear as eligible for the assistant. It has also clarified that the Copilot button in Windows will appear on the right side of the Windows 10 taskbar and will not overlap with the desktop content or block open application windows . With this, he said that computers with this version of the operating system that belong to organizations will not have Copilot initially, nor will those that have Windows 10 Enterprise and Education.. https://www.europapress.es/portaltic/software/noticia-asistente-copilot-llega-forma-gradual-windows-10-20231122162914.html

  4. Jack Norton, also known as Jack Lowe, was stabbed to death By Josh Sandiford BBC News, West Midlands A youth accused of murder has insisted he did not threaten his alleged victim and was "shocked" at his stabbing. The 16-year-old, who cannot be named due to his age, is being tried over the murder of Jack Norton. Also known as Jack Lowe, the 18-year-old died in an area of grassland, locally known as Cookie Park, in Darlaston, on 7 December 2022. The youth and co-defendant Brandon Price, 19, both from Walsall, deny murder and having a knife. The prosecution argued while Mr Price, aged 18 at the time, was the one who stabbed Jack, his co-defendant, 15 at the time, was also responsible after "egging him on".Mr Price told Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday he had fatally wounded Jack but insisted he acted in self-defence following an "argument". He said said he pulled out a knife after Jack tried to hit him with a bottle, stabbing him without realising. 'Shocked and scared' On Monday, the youth denied giving Mr Price the knife. He also denied accusations by two of Jack's friends, who witnessed the alleged attack, that he had been making threats towards the 18-year-old that night. The youngster told the court he did not know why Mr Price stabbed Jack. He insisted he had been walking off to go home when the incident happened and described feeling "shocked and scared" afterwards. 'Ran away laughing' The youth denied he had been "cheering or whooping" following the incident but suggested he could have been picked up in an audio clip saying the word "kill" moments after Jack was stabbed. He said: "I was in shock and I was scared so I was shouting [at Brandon] 'you killed him, you killed him'." Rachel Brand KC, prosecuting, rejected the youth's version of events and suggested he had spent the whole evening threatening Jack. "You wound up Brandon and you gave him a knife because you wanted [him] to stab Jack Norton," Ms Brand said. "That's what you wanted all along because for some reason you got it into your head that you had some grudge against him. "You ran away laughing, I suggest, and you stayed with Brandon rather than going home because the two of you had been in it together all along." Both the prosecution and defence were expected to make their closing arguments on Tuesday before the judge summed up the evidence. The trial continues. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-birmingham-67477045
  5. Cuttlefish is a type of squid po[CENSORED]r in European marketsAt a glance The Cornish fishing industry opposes minimum landing size for cuttlefish. The Government considers a management plan for cuttlefish, a type of squid po[CENSORED]r in European markets. The fishing industry proposes alternative methods of stock control such as rotating fishing groundsFishing industry leaders in Cornwall have expressed concern over the proposed introduction of a minimum landing size for cuttlefish. The species, which is a type of squid, is po[CENSORED]r in European markets. The fishing industry says new rules would lead to wastage and damage the industry. The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) says it is considering a management plan for cuttlefish, as there is currently none in place. 'Low stock levels' According to the Marine Conservation Society, external, there are "indications that po[CENSORED]tions are too small and fishing pressure is too high" in the English Channel. Reported landings in 2021 were 2,616 tonnes in the UK, considerably below the five-year average of 4,531 tonnes, which it said "may be due to low stock levels". The Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) Defra is being urged to agree other methods of stock control such as rotating the fishing grounds, which the fishing industry says would be more effective and acceptable. Chris Ranford from the Cornish Fish Producers Organisation, said: "This is the whole point of actually working with the fishing industry, to come up with good ideas, practical ways to manage the fishery. "The industry wants to do it. "It's got its own ideas and ways of doing that, and minimum landing size isn't one of them."One fishing spokesman said minimum landing size were not the answer Paul Trebilcock, managing director of Cornish trawler owners WH Stevenson said a proposal for a minimum size was "crazy". He said the difference between a legal and an illegal cuttlefish at 24cm (9.4 in) long was barely noticeable, and throwing back dead cuttlefish made no sense. South Devon MP Anthony Mangnall said he was confident that he could persuade the government to drop the minimum landing size idea, which he described as “the wrong thing to do”. The government is expected to make a decision on the cuttlefish management plan before Christmas.. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0w2rqpq3k0o
  6. Picture a boardroom battle at a multi-billion-dollar company whose futuristic tech might either save or destroy the world. Its chief executive, who has the ear of world leaders, toppled as senior colleagues turn on him - only for the rest of the company to demand they themselves should be fired. No, that's not my pitch for a Netflix drama, that's basically been the past few days at OpenAI. Tech journalists, enthusiasts and investors have been binge-watching it all unfold - though opinions differ as to whether it was a high-stakes thriller or a farce. How it started... The battle at the top of OpenAI, the creator of the AI chatbot ChatGPT, began very suddenly on Friday, when the board of directors announced that it was firing the co-founder and chief executive, Sam Altman. In a blog post the board accused Mr Altman of not being "consistently candid in his communications", and said as a result they had "lost confidence" in his leadership. There are only six people on that board - and two of them were Sam Altman and his co-founder Greg Brockman who quit after Mr Altman was dismissed .OpenAI co-founder Greg Brockman has also left the firm So four people who knew Mr Altman and the business well reached a breaking point of such seriousness that they sprung into action immediately, blindsiding the entire tech community including, reportedly, their own investors. Elon Musk - also an original co-founder at OpenAI - wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that he was "very worried". Ilya Sutskever, the firm's chief scientist, was a member of that board and "would not take such drastic action unless he felt it was absolutely necessary", he wrote. Mr Sutskever has now expressed his own regret - and is one of the many signatories of a dynamite letter to the board of directors, calling for Mr Altman and Mr Brockman to return and suggesting they may leave OpenAI if the men are not reinstated. Microsoft boss Satya Nadella has welcomed Mr Altman into the company fold OpenAI is in pursuit of AGI - artificial general intelligence. It doesn't exist yet, and it is a cause of both fear and awe. It's basically the idea that there will one day be AI tools that will be able to do a number of tasks, as well as, or better than, humans (that's us) currently can. It's got the potential to shift the entire way in which we do things. Jobs, money, education - all of that gets thrown up in the air when machines can do stuff instead. It's an incredibly powerful bit of kit - or at least, it will be. Is OpenAI closer to that than we realise, and does Mr Altman know this? At a very recent speech he said what was coming next year would make the current ChatGPT bot look like "a quaint relative". I think it's unlikely. Emmett Shear, the new interim chief executive of OpenAI, posted on X that "the board did *not* remove Sam over any specific disagreement on safety". He says there will be an investigation into what happened. But Microsoft, OpenAI's biggest investor, has decided not to take a chance on Mr Altman taking this tech elsewhere. He will be joining the Seattle-based tech giant, it has been announced, to lead a yet-to-be-created AI research team. His co-founder Greg Brockman goes with him, and judging from the number of staff members posting on X today, it looks like he'll be taking some of OpenAI's top talent too. Many OpenAI staff members are sharing the same post on X. It reads: "OpenAI is nothing without its people". Is that a warning to Mr Shear that he might have some hiring to do? A BBC colleague outside OpenAI's headquarters just told me at 0930 in San Francisco, there were no signs of people arriving for work. Or is it just a reminder that for all this saga has been about a form of technology that is reshaping the world, it is, at its heart, a very human drama. https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-67474879

  8. Remedy Games has rolled out Alan Wake 2 update 12 across all platforms, improving visuals as well as PS5 and DLSS performance, and more. Earlier this month, Remedy deployed several updates, including the #8 update which packed over 200 fixes. In addition to this, the game's #10 patch included well over 100 changes and improvements, and today we another have patch for the game. This new update is a major one, again packing over 100 fixes and improvements, including platform-specific ones.As said, this brand-new update somewhat improves the game's performance on PlayStation 5 in Performance Mode. For instance, the update optimized performance when aggressively walking stairs up and down in the Nursing Home, and (global) streaming performance has been improved in several areas. PC players will be happy to learn that NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation issues have been resolved when switching from real-time video to 3D rendering. Memory usage has also been improved across all platforms, which allows for more enemy bodies lying on the ground for added realism and spookiness. There also have been improvements to visuals and animations across PC, PS5, and Xbox, including improvements to lighting as well as other visual fixes and improvements. In addition to this, Remedy has implemented several fixes for Alan's flashlight. As with previous updates, this new one includes various mission-specific fixes as well. We've included some of these below. We highly suggest reading the full release notes, as released by Remedy Games, on the game's official website here. INVITATION Hid interactions while dialogue plays around the Nightingale murder site. 9. OnePlus has become one of the main players in the technology sector, thanks to a product catalog beyond any doubt. A startup that took its first steps with the OnePlus One, to gradually improve its telephone division, including models with a folding screen, such as the incredible OnePlus Open.In addition, the manufacturer has been expanding its brand. In this way, OnePlus' current catalog includes headphones, tablets... It even has its own smart TV, although it has not left Chinese lands. And it seems that OnePlus has a new product in mind . We are talking about nothing more and nothing less than a speaker . Furthermore, it is not a rumor, but rather the company itself has confirmed its existence. What do we know about the new OnePlus speaker As we have told you, this information does not come from external sources, but rather the OnePlus marketing machinery has begun to advertise this product . And the first step has been to announce its existence through a post on Instagram where we see part of the internal components of this speaker. As you will see in the video that heads these lines, the manufacturer announces a new speaker with the slogan “ the wonder of music meets the power of technology.” And according to the video, it seems that it is a model that will hide a very complete speaker system to create a set with a harmonious sound. We can't see the drivers well, but it seems that it will be a configuration that will integrate two tweeters, along with an integrated subwoofer. Furthermore, seeing the announcement they have made, everything indicates that the first OnePlus speaker will be smart. In this way, we are faced with a smart speaker that will have a lot of power, since it does not seem that it will be a portable model to take with you wherever you want, but rather a device to have at home. Taking into account the success of sound bars, it is likely that OnePlus wants to offer a more restrained speaker to offer a better acoustic landscape than what we find in any television. And by offering Bluetooth connectivity , and most likely support for the main voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, we can also send music from our phone or tablet, or use services such as Spotify Connect among others. But, until OnePlus introduces this speaker, it is mere speculation. A possible date? CES 2024 will take place during the first week of January, so it is likely that the firm will take advantage of this technological event to present its new gadget. https://cincodias.elpais.com/cincodias/2023/11/17/gadgets/1700231519_094018.html
  10. Microsoft has expanded the applications of its operating system that can be uninstalled from its Edge browser and its Bing search engine, a novelty that will apply in the European Economic Area (EEA) to comply with the Digital Markets Act (DMA, for its acronym in English). ). The preview of the Windows 11 non-security update, corresponding to 23H2 and build 22631.2787, includes a series of new features to adapt the operating system to the Digital Markets Law, which will be effective on March 6 of next year.On the one hand, the company will more clearly identify the functionalities and applications of the operating system in the System section of the Configuration menu; in the list of all applications, which will have the callsign 'system'; and in the search results, from the search integrated into the taskbar, which will also be recognized with the 'system' label. On the other hand, and although according to Microsoft "all Windows applications can be uninstalled" and reinstalled when needed from the Microsoft Store, it has expanded this ability to delete to a list of applications that Windows includes by default: Camera, Cortana and Photos, but also search with Bing and the Edge browser. The company clarifies on the Windows Insider blog that the possibility of uninstalling Bing and Edge is limited to the European Economic Area, and responds to the need to adapt the operating system to the DMA.Likewise, and also limited to the European Economic Area, it has announced "two new points of interoperability available": 'feeds' in the Windows 'widgets' Panel and Web Search in Windows Search (the search bar in the taskbar ). Interoperability points, according to Microsoft, are application-based, making it easier for developers to integrate third-party experiences into Windows applications. For example, in the case of feeds, quick access to a variety of third-party content directly from the desktop can be integrated into the Widget Panel. Other search providers can be integrated into Search. Additionally, the company will introduce a notification that will ask Microsoft account users if they want to sync it with Windows so that the data from this operating system "is available on their other Windows devices and on the Microsoft products in which they log in." It will also ask if, when installing new applications, users want to change their status to default. The company details that "in the EEA, Windows will always use the default application settings configured by customers for link and file types, including industry-standard browser link types (http, https)." 13. Nobody can deny that the Apple Watch has marked a before and after. It was by no means the first smart watch on the market, but it was the smartwatch that gave the starting signal for this type of wearables to have greater market penetration. To the point that today Apple is the manufacturer that sells the most watches worldwide, displacing heavyweights in the watch sector such as Rolex or Omega. But that doesn't mean the Apple Watch is perfect. More so, since the arrival of watchOS 10, which eliminated the possibility of changing the face of your Apple Watch with a simple gesture , making the entire process more cumbersome. But we bring good news with the arrival of the third beta version of watchOS 10.2 that Apple released this week. You can change the face of your Apple Watch more easily As we told you, Apple eliminated this function. But it seems that watchOS 10.2 beta in its latest version includes this tool again. As you will see in the message on the social network If you are part of the beta program, you should go to Settings > Clock in the third beta version and you will see that this option is available . And if you want to keep the current option, don't activate this function and avoid problems.Without a doubt, it is excellent news for Apple Watch owners, since now they will be able to customize it much more quickly. Something very useful if, for example, you use different spheres depending on the time of day. It is possible that you are going to play sports and are more interested in a sphere where you can see your metrics more comfortably. So soon you will have things easier when it comes to changing the watch face you use on the Apple Watch. Not part of Apple's beta program? Well, you're going to have to wait a little since the release date of the final version has not been confirmed. But since it is already available in the watchOS 10.2 beta, we are sure that in the coming weeks they will enable this option for all users with a compatible Apple watch.. https://cincodias.elpais.com/cincodias/2023/11/16/gadgets/1700138861_658224.html
  14. Adobe is working on a technology based on artificial intelligence (AI) that allows you to separate background noise from the voice in the audio recording of a video and improve the most important parts of it. Project Sound Lift is one of the tools that Adobe showed off as a preview this Wednesday at its MAX event in Japan. At the moment it is a prototype, which has shared the potential it has for audio processing in videos. In this sense, Project Sound Lift uses AI to separate an audio recording into different tracks of voices, non-voice sounds and other background noises, as the company explains in a press release . Each track canalso be managed independently to improve the most important parts The novelty of this tool is that it works with different types of real-world environments, where there are a multitude of superimposed sounds and cannot always be controlled, and not only with clean audio inputs, as is the case, according to Adobe, with previous AI models. . https://www.europapress.es/portaltic/software/noticia-adobe-usa-ia-separar-pistas-individuales-voz-sonidos-fondo-grabaciones-20231116141023.html
  15. Retailers in China bumped up the prices of AMD's Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPUs as the ban on NVIDIA's RTX 4090 is now officially implemented. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ban Attracts Gamers To Team Red's Offering, AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Sees Price Hike Across Retail Segment In China With the US ban on the GeForce RTX 4090, an "artificial" shortage has been created in Chinese markets, as prices have soared to new levels. This has resulted in gamers and professionals seeking other solutions and AMD GPUs are the first that come to mind. But since the demand for RTX 4090 was already high, retailers are now taking advantage of the situation and increasing the prices of the next best graphics card on the market, the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT.For a quick background recap, the US has officially implemented steps to hinder the growth of AI in China, by cutting off the supply of one of the necessary components, GPUs. Despite all the political fiasco, NVIDIA's flagship Ada GPU has somehow been dragged into the field as the GPU exceeds 600 GB/s memory bandwidth barrier, or 4800 TOPS.The ban on the GeForce RTX 4090 has also created a "domino" effect amongst the other SKUs within the Ada Lovelace lineup since the GeForce RTX 4080 and the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti have also witnessed an increase in pricing. https://wccftech.com/amd-radeon-rx-7900-xtx-gpus-witness-price-surge-china-as-nvidia-rtx-4090-banned/
  16. https://i.postimg.cc/rFqznkzq/WCCFsuicidesquadkilljusticeleague5-1456x819.jpg Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is one of the biggest question marks on the near horizon – the new co-op DC Comics actioner has the pedigree, coming from Batman Arkham developer Rocksteady Studios, but its gameplay debut was not well-received (largely due its live service elements). That backlash led to a delay and we haven’t seen anymore more from the game in months. Well, today Rocksteady dropped their first “Suicide Squad Insider” video, showcasing a bunch of new footage of the game in action. You can check it out for yourself, below.Rocksteady is keen to emphasize that Suicide Squad will still have the kind of story content the studio is known for, and the early mission we’re shown seems to back that up. We see the Suicide Squad explore the Hall of Justice, where they find the gimmicks that give them their new traversal powers (yes, there is an in-game explanation for the question of “Why can everyone fly?”) We then see the team emerge into Metropolis, which has been decimated by Brainiac. The Squad then have a run-in with both Green Lantern and Flash, and have to track down the Penguin in order to acquire weapons. Overall, it looks like Rocksteady’s writing and worldbuilding skills are intact. In terms of gameplay, we get a better look at the game’s Metropolis sandbox, and each character’s unique traversal and combat abilities. Mastering these is key to succeeding in the game, and at times the action seems to resemble Sony’s Spider-Man and InFamous games. What we don’t see is anything regarding Suicide Squad’s controversial live-service elements, although we know they’re still in the game thanks to the description of the game’s Deluxe Edition. This $100 version of the game will include the usual array of cosmetics, early access, and… a premium battle pass token. Rocksteady is promising at least a year of support and 4 battle passes post-launch. Here’s evening included in the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Deluxe Edition… Deluxe Edition Contents The full game Justice League Outfits 3 Black Mast Notorious Weapons Squad Golds weapon dolls 1 battle pass token Pre-order-specific bonuses: 72-hour early launch access Classic outfits Rogue outfits (PS5 only) While they’re locked behind a $100 pre-order, I have to admit, those Suicide Squad classic outfits are pretty neat, particularly the Harley Quinn one. Finally, with pre-orders now open, basic PC requirements for Suicide Squad have been revealed: Minimum OS: Win 10 (64 bit) Processor: Intel i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.20 GHz Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 DirectX: Version 12 Storage: 65 GB available space Additional Notes: RAM: 16 GB (2x8) RecommendedOS: Win 10 (64 bit) Processor: Intel i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X3D Graphics: NVIDIA RTX 2080 or AMD RX 6800-XT (16GiB) DirectX: Version 12 Storage: 65 GB available space Additional Notes: RAM: 16 GB (2x8) Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launches on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 on February 2, 2024... https://wccftech.com/suicide-squad-kill-the-justic-league-new-gameplay-pc-requirements-live-service/

  18. It is an open secret that the Korean manufacturer is working on the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 , its next activity bracelet. A team whose existence we learned about very recently. Later we were able to see the possible design that the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 will have, highlighting a notable increase in the diagonal of the screen compared to the 1.2 inches of its predecessor. At the moment it is a leak and we have to take the information with a grain of salt, but everything indicates that it is a real image that shows what the Korean firm's next activity bracelet will be like. And now, through TUV Rheinland we can find out some technical details of the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3. In case you don't know TUV, say that it is the certification agency in charge of guaranteeing that a product meets current requirements and standards to avoid possible damage eyepieces. The Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 getting closer Now, the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 has received the corresponding certification, revealing some interesting details. To begin with, we can know that the next activity bracelet from the Seoul-based firm will have a 200 mAh battery. Considering that its predecessor had 159 mAh, it is clear that Samsung wants to offer the best experience. And seeing the size of the new screen , it makes perfect sense that Samsung advocates implementing a higher capacity battery to the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3. In addition, it will have a 5W charge, a value to take into account. It is logical that Samsung incorporates a larger capacity battery, since the screen occupies almost twice as much, and we will surely go to 2 inches. In this way, it will offer autonomy at par for a wearable with these characteristics, surely exceeding a week of uninterrupted use. At the moment we have no more information. Rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 could finally have a GPS so you can do any physical activity without worrying about carrying the phone with you, but for now it is nothing more than a rumor. Its release date? At the moment it is too early to know, but it is clear that Samsung is passing all the necessary certifications to be able to put this product on sale. So, either the firm presents the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 at the end of this year, or we will have to wait until early 2024 to find out what the manufacturer's next activity bracelet will be like.. https://cincodias.elpais.com/cincodias/2023/11/13/gadgets/1699890881_585432.html
  19. Google wants developers to publish high-quality apps and games on the Play Store, requiring those with a new personal account to run tests with at least 20 people to make sure everything works well before launching. To publish an application in the Play Store, Google requires a series of conditions from developers, which it reviews from time to time. At the beginning of the year it announced verification requirements that developers must complete so that "users can make informed decisions, prevent the spread of malware and reduce fraud." These requirements are already required for creators who register a new account in Play Console, and for a few days they have also been available for developers with existing accounts, as the company reports on its Android Developers blog .There is also a deadline to complete the information for said verification, which each developer can establish to adapt it to their situation. However, Google will automatically assign one to those who have not determined one by February 29, 2024. Additionally, the technology company has reported another requirement: the obligation for developers with a newly created Play Console account to carry out tests with their applications before requesting access to production.Developers who test their software with the tools provided by Google "release higher quality applications and games, which can generate higher ratings and more success on Google Play," Google points out. For developers with new accounts, Google requires them to test their apps and games with at least 20 people and for a minimum of two weeks . "This will allow developers to test their app, identify issues, get feedback, and make sure everything is ready before launch," the company says. Google knows that the implementation of new security measures represents an effort on the part of cybercriminals to identify ways to circumvent the limitations they put on fraud and malware. Therefore, it has announced that its global review team will spend more time evaluating new applications... https://www.europapress.es/portaltic/software/noticia-google-exige-nuevos-desarrolladores-play-store-prueben-apps-juegos-antes-publicarlos-20231113134445.html
  20. The AMD Instinct MI300X & MI300A are some of the most anticipated accelerators in the AI segment which will launch next month. There's a lot of anticipation surrounding AMD's first full-fledged AI masterpiece and today we thought about giving you a roundup of what to expect from this technical marvel. AMD Instinct MI300X Is Designed For GPU-Accelerated AI Workloads While MI300A Tackles HPC With The Most Technically Advanced APU Package On the 6th of December, AMD will host its "Advancing AI" keynote where one of the main agendas is to do a full unveiling of the next-gen Instinct accelerator family codenamed MI300. This new GPU and CPU accelerated family will be the lead product of the AI segment which is AMD's No.1 and the most important strategic priority right now as it finally rolls out a product that is not only advanced but also is designed to meet the critical AI requirement within the industry. The MI300 class of AI accelerators will be another chiplet powerhouse, making use of advanced packaging technologies from TSMC so let's see what's under the hood of these AI monsters.AMD Instinct MI300X - Challenging NVIDIA's AI Supremacy With CDNA 3 & Huge Memory The AMD Instinct MI300X is definitely the chip that will be highlighted the most since it is clearly targeted at NVIDIA's Hopper and Intel's Gaudi accelerators within the AI segment. This chip has been designed solely on the CDNA 3 architecture and there is a lot of stuff going on. The chip is going to host a mix of 5nm and 6nm IPs, all combining to deliver up to 153 Billion transistors (MI300X).Starting with the design, the main interposer is laid out with a passive die which houses the interconnect layer using a next-gen Infinity Fabric solution. The interposer includes a total of 28 dies which include eight HBM3 packages, 16 dummy dies between the HBM packages, & four active dies and each of these active dies gets two compute dies. Each GCD based on the CDNA 3 GPU architecture features a total of 40 compute units which equals 2560 cores. There are eight compute dies (GCDs) in total so that gives us a total of 320 Compute & 20,480 core units. For yields, AMD will be scaling back a small portion of these cores and we will be getting more details on exact configurations a month from now.Memory is another area where you will see a huge upgrade with the MI300X boasting 50% more HBM3 capacity than its predecessor, the MI250X (128 GB). To achieve a memory pool of 192 GB, AMD is equipping the MI300X with 8 HBM3 stacks and each stack is 12-Hi while incorporating 16 Gb ICs which give us 2 GB capacity per IC or 24 GB per stack. The memory will offer up to 5.2 TB/s of bandwidth and 896 GB/s of Infinity Fabric Bandwidth. For comparison, NVIDIA's upcoming H200 AI accelerator offers 141 GB capacities while Gaudi 3 from Intel will be offering 144 GB capacities. Large memory pools matter a lot in LLMs which are mostly memory bound and AMD can definitely show its AI prowess by leading in the memory department. For comparisons: Instinct MI300X - 192 GB HBM3 Gaudi 3 - 144 GB HBM3 H200 - 141 GB HBM3e MI300A - 128 GB HBM3 MI250X - 128 GB HBM2e H100 - 96 GB HBM3 Gaudi 2 - 96 GB HBM2e https://wccftech.com/amd-instinct-mi300x-mi300a-ai-accelerators-detailed-cdna-3-zen-4-come-advanced-packaging-marvel/
