It you mistaken and it's 'actively' try to check your protocol connection to be set to 'active port' (21 for ftp) as the normal winscp's default connectivity is sftp, there might be another issue regarding of who is "hosting" the server you are trying to connect to, the server might run a non-standard port. #FiNe Posted June 21, 2018 Share Posted June 21, 2018 Hello, Maybe your trouble from your net , that's mean your connection is slow , you need to turn off your modem, for 10 minutes then ignite it again , and probably the problem from your ftp , maybe the password has been changed! BILLS Posted June 22, 2018 Share Posted June 22, 2018 the problem may be the slow internet as they say here others can do this and I hope it works 1 step: as I see that it has windows pressing the windows + R keys is the key that is in the middle of Ctrl and Alt will open a window like this. 2 step: when opening the above-mentioned box called Execute write the following letters (cmd) this is to open the symbols of the windows system and would be this way and give the Enter key. 3 step: a black box will open where you will write the following commands inside this black box. 3.1 (ipconfig / release and give it to enter) this makes your internet fall quiet do not worry. 3.2 (ipconfig / flushdns and give it to enter ) This what it does is to clean your dns and the data of the internet modem. 3.3 (ipconfig / renew and give it to enter ) with this we will renew our modem again and the internet comes back hard between 5 and 10 seconds that you must wait until you have the option to rewrite in the cmd then you put / exit to exit and then what you have to do is restart the pc.
