As a lifelong Zelda fan, I’m always hesitant when other developers set out to make a game so clearly inspired by Nintendo’s acclaimed action-adventure series. I find that the puzzle design never quite reaches Zelda’s incredibly lofty bar, and I’m usually left wishing I was just playing Ocarina of Time or A Link Between Worlds instead. But The Plucky Squire breaks that trend, with a combination of clever brain teasers, simple but effective swordplay, and a courageous silent protagonist that would feel right at home in Hyrule. The adventure is held back by an overly wordy script and some serious pacing issues in its final act, but this debut game from developer All Possible Futures is still a journey worth taking. The Plucky Squire’s elevator pitch is brilliant: You play as Jot, the hero of a children’s book who learns early on that he is, in fact, just the hero of a children’s book. This leads to a surprisingly meta story where Jot leaps between the 2D pages of his picture book and the 3D real world around it, which is represented by the childhood bedroom of a young Plucky Squire superfan named Sam who collects all of Jot’s stories and merchandise. The Latitude series is Dells business class. Special attention is paid to security features, making this laptop suited for companies and their employees. But even the average user may find an advantage in a device like this. Based on its first few hours, Metro Awakening could be considered quite the challenger to Half-Life: Alyx's VR crown. The first thing you see once the game starts proper is a small room bursting at the seams with interactive physics objects that can be picked up, inspected and thrown at the walls. More than that, though, they can interact with each other - throw a chess piece at the chess board for instance and multiple pieces sat atop it will be knocked over. Drop a heavy book on the keys of the piano in the corner and it will play the exact notes the book landed on. Hell, there’s even a guitar you can pick up and strum - and as far as I remember, even Alyx didn’t have one of those! Once you leave that room, there's a small settlement to wander through with a couple of NPCs whose conversations you can earwig on, assuming you''re not impatient to get to the action, that is. That action comes pretty quickly, too - a short set piece involving a booming mounted gun follows, which sees you mowing down waves of surprisingly sprightly Nosalis, before you and a pair of fellow survivors rush to plant a bomb to seal the entrance the beasts are rushing in from. It's like the Metro series in a nutshell, a 'greatest hits' theme park ride, if you will, and it’s a fantastic opener for both newcomers to the series and long time fans. As the hours go on, though, the cracks start to appear. The number of interactive props start to dwindle, the levels themselves become less imaginative, and its pacing positively drops off a cliff. It soon becomes quite clear that, while there's a good game somewhere here in Metro Awakening, its best bits are front loaded at the start and, the deeper you get into its metaphorical metro tunnel, the further away they become. The way that COVID-19 has been handled since its inception in 2019 has had a significant impact on lifestyle-related behaviors, such as physical activities, diet, and sleep patterns. This study measures lifestyle-related behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown using a 22-item questionnaire. The responses were collected from March 2021 to September 2021. A total of four hundred and sixty-seven Jordanian participants were engaged in assessing the changes caused by the pandemic and their effect on BMI. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were tested for 71 participants. Cronbach’s alpha values for the questionnaire exceeded 0.7, demonstrating good reliability and internal consistency. The effect of each question regarding physical activity and dietary habits over the BMI difference was studied using ANOVA. The study shows that more than half of the participants reported snacking more between meals and increased their sitting and screen time, while 74% felt more stressed and anxious. BMI difference among the individuals throughout the lockdown was significantly associated with these variables. In contrast, 62% of the participants showed more awareness about their health by increasing the intake of immunity-boosting foods, and 56% of the participants showed an increase in the consumption of nutrition supplements. Females and married individuals tended to be healthier. Therefore, their BMI showed stability compared to others based on their gender and marital status. Exercise, sleep, and avoiding ‘junk’ food, which contributes to weight gain and COVID-19 vulnerability, are strongly recommended. The Democratic Party for the People demanded a review of the so-called ¥1.03 million threshold, among other measures to increase take-home pay, in its first policy talks with the Liberal Democratic Party held in the Diet on Friday. The DPFP places the highest priority on reviewing the current threshold, where income tax is imposed on annual income exceeding ¥1.03 million. The party also called for measures to support areas in the Noto Peninsula affected by the earthquake and torrential rains. “I understand that there will be various additional requests [for economic measures], so I want to listen carefully to them,” Onodera told reporters after the meeting. Welcome to the Fantasy Football Playbook for Week 10, which kicked off Thursday with the Bengals at the Ravens. This column features score projections, over/unders, win probabilities, and, of course, easily digestible fantasy advice for seasonlong leagues and DFS. This guide should help you with all sorts of decision-making, including sit/start decisions, last-minute waiver adds and lineup choices. The advice is centered on 12-team PPR leagues with relatively standard scoring and lineup settings (1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 flex, 1 K, 1 D/ST), although I'll often mention "shallow" or "deep" leagues for some starters. The charts show all players who have been projected for at least 6.0 fantasy points this week, as well as all D/STs. "Matchup" is automatically determined using a proprietary metric that factors in raw and volume-adjusted fantasy points allowed to each position by the opposing defense this season. At one point, Mercedes-Benz had coupe and convertible variants for the C-class, E-class, and S-class. Now, in the process of trimming the lineup, Mercedes has blended the first two together, and the result is the 2024 CLE-class. With a footprint similar to the old C-class coupe, two available powertrains, and all manner of standard cabin tech, the CLE-class carries all the latest and greatest features Mercedes has to offer in a slick two-door coupe or convertible form factor. Models wearing the CLE300 badge are powered by a 255-hp turbocharged four-cylinder while CLE450s get a 375-hp turbocharged inline-six. The CLE-class goes head-to-head with rivals such as the Audi A5 and the BMW 4-series, neither of which are as luxurious, but they are both less expensive. Like the C-class sedan, the CLE-class coupe and convertible are offered in Exclusive and Pinnacle trims. We suspect the Exclusive trim will offer enough luxury and tech features for most buyers, but we'll leave the choice of either the turbo four- or six-cylinder engine up to you. We'd stick with the coupe for its more practical body style and larger trunk, but if you prefer a wind-in-your-hair experience the Cabriolet is just an order-form checkbox—and several thousand dollars–away. Engine, Transmission, and Performance The CLE-class comes with one of two powertrains. The CLE300 carries a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, which is good for 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, while the CLE450 bumps that up to a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six producing 375 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission is standard on both models. Both powertrains are 48-volt hybrids, incorporating an electric motor that can add up to 23 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque, as well. Both the CLE300 and the CLE450 are limited to a top speed of 130 mph. We got a chance to test drive both the CLE300 and CLE450 for ourselves and came away happy with their performance. The lesser whitethroat (Curruca curruca) is a common and widespread typical warbler which breeds in temperate Europe, except the southwest, and in the western and central Palearctic. This small passerine bird is strongly migratory, wintering in Africa just south of the Sahara, Arabia and India. Unlike many sylviid warblers, the sexes are almost identical. This is a small species with a grey back, whitish underparts, a grey head with a darker "bandit mask" through the eyes and a white throat. It is slightly smaller than the common whitethroat, and lacks the chestnut wings and uniform head-face colour of that species. The lesser whitethroat's song is a fast and rattling sequence of tet or che calls, quite different from the common whitethroat's scolding song. Like most "warblers", it is insectivorous, but will also take berries and other soft fruit. This is a bird of fairly open country and cultivation, with large bushes for nesting and some trees. The nest is built in low shrub or brambles, and 3 to 7 eggs are laid. The lesser whitethroat was formally described by the Swedish naturalist Carl Linnaeus in 1758 in the tenth edition of his Systema Naturae under the binomial name Motacilla curruca. The specific curruca is the Latin word for an unidentified bird mentioned by the Roman poet Juvenal.[2] The word had been used for the lesser whitethroat by the Swiss naturalist Conrad Gessner in 1555.[3] Linnaeus specified the locality as Europe but this was restricted to Sweden by Ernst Hartert in 1909.[4][5] This species is now placed in the genus Curruca that was introduced by the German naturalist Johann Matthäus Bechstein in 1802.[6][7] This species has been commonly assumed to be closely related to the common whitethroat, as their common names imply. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Donald Trump on winning the United States election, saying Moscow was ready for dialogue with the Republican president-elect. In his first public remarks since Trump’s win, Putin on Thursday praised the US leader’s courage during an assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 14. “He behaved, in my opinion, in a very correct way – courageously, like a real man,” Putin said at the Valdai discussion club, an international forum, in the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi. Putin, 72, also said that Trump’s comments “about the desire to restore relations with Russia, to help end the Ukrainian crisis, in my opinion, deserves attention at least”.
