Samsung introduced its Buy Now, Pay Later option for the first time for its flagship and foldable smartphones in India on Wednesday. ICICI Bank credit card holders with a minimum credit limit of Rs. 1,50,000 will be able to benefit from this offer at retail outlets across India. This scheme also gives the option of zero down payment and a processing fee of 1 percent. The company has confirmed that this offer is available on Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy S22 series smartphones. The new Buy Now, Pay Later option enables Samsung customers to pay 60 percent of the total amount in 18 no-cost EMI monthly instalments. The remaining 40 percent can be repaid in a lump sum with the 19th instalment. As previously mentioned, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable smartphones are eligible for this offer. The Galaxy S22 series β the vanilla Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra β also now come with the Buy Now, Pay Later option. In addition to the Buy Now, Pay Later offer, customers who go for either the regular Galaxy S22 or the Galaxy S22+ can also buy the Galaxy Buds 2 for Rs. 2,999. Both of these smartphones are powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and run on Android 12-based One UI 4.1. Customers who purchase the Galaxy S22 Ultra can get the Galaxy Watch 4 for an additional Rs. 2,999. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is a flagship Samsung smartphone that runs on Android 12 with a One UI 4.1 skin on top. It sports a 6.8-inch Edge QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM. It features a quad rear camera setup headlined by a 108-megapixel primary sensor. There is also a 40-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. https://gadgets360.com/mobiles/news/samsung-s22-z-fold-flip-3-buy-now-pay-later-icici-bank-galaxy-india-3199128#pfrom=topstory

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro / Galaxy Buds Pro 2 on August 10 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold4, Z Flip4, Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro. The new Pro buds will be successors to the original Galaxy Buds Pro which launched in January 2021. Today a new rumor claims to reveal the upcoming pricing of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro in the US market. They will allegedly cost $229.99, which is $30 more than the Galaxy Buds Pro retailed for when they became available. If this pans out, then expect a similar price hike in other markets too. Another source says the new buds will have support for 24-bit audio. Previous rumors talked about three color versions: white, Graphite, and Bora Purple. To stick with the colors theme, we also have a "confirmation" in rumor form of the hues in which Samsung's new wearables will arrive. We're looking at gold, gray, and silver for the 40mm Watch5, blue, gray and silver for the 44m model, and black and gray for the Pro. https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_buds_2_pro_price_leaks-news-55213.php

While Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook parent company Meta, has been proselytizing for months to anyone who will listen about the inevitability of our participation in the so-called metaverse, some analysts think the legacy component of his internet empire is in more trouble than ever. Facebook is beset by challenges on multiple fronts at the moment. The TikTok app continues its inexorable stealing-away of young people. Appleβs anti-tracking app provisions have taken a huge bite out of Facebookβs business. The digital ad market in general is in a huge slump. Moreover, these are some of the reasons analysts suspect that on Wednesday, July 27, Facebookβs parent company might do something that itβs never done before: Report a year-over-year quarterly revenue decline. Facebook earnings in focus The latest Facebook earnings report comes as Wall Street has punished many of the Big Tech names year-to-date. Amazon, Microsoft, Alphabet, and Apple are all down. Meta, though, is down more than any of them. A little more than 50% for the year, in fact, at the time of writing. The social media giantβs corporate parent β which also owns Instagram and WhatsApp β had until last year grown its revenue each quarter like clockwork by at least 20 percent. Now? βThis company is facing this perfect storm,β said Mark Mahaney, the senior managing director of internet research at Evercore ISI, per Alex Kantrowitzβs Big Technology Substack newsletter. βIt has been for a while.β Thereβs certainly a chance that Facebookβs parent company could surprise analysts to the upside on Wednesday. But even if it does, the expectation is that any growth would be small. Mahaney added that TikTokβs ad revenue growth, for example, is up triple digits. And βthat growth has got to be coming from somewhere.β First-ever year-over-year revenue decline? This Wednesdayβs earnings report will illuminate the degree to which that growth might be at the expense of Facebookβs once-formidable ad revenue machine. To counter the headwinds, the company in recent days started rolling out a revamped Facebook app design and is said to be experimenting with offering users the option for multiple profiles. Meanwhile, the TikTok-like Reels content format is becoming increasingly determinative of Facebookβs fortunes. In fact, Instagram and Facebook are both starting to nudge users toward posting more Reels. But will the attempt to turn Facebook into a TikTok-style experience be enough to staunch the bleeding? βTheyβre starting to get tired of it,β said Debra Aho Williamson, an analyst at research firm Insider Intelligence, told CNBC. βUsers are definitely gravitating towards other platforms or theyβre engaging with Facebook less, and when you start to see that happening in bigger and bigger quantities, thatβs when the advertisers really start to take notice.β https://bgr.com/business/facebook-expected-to-take-a-big-hit-this-week-as-users-are-starting-to-get-tired-of-it/

The specimens that were in the Black Jaguar β White Tiger foundation are still in trouble, even after the 'rescue'. The Association of Zoos, Breeders and Aquariums of Mexico (AZCARM) warned that the authorities of the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA) have prevented the rescue work of animals from being carried out properly. This is the case of the specimens from the Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation, an establishment that housed jaguars, servals, lions, tigers, spider monkeys, baboons and capuchins among other types of wild animals. According to Ernesto Zazueta, President of AZCARM: βWE ARE REALLY SURPRISED, ANNOYED, DISAPPOINTED BEFORE SO MUCH CONFLICT THAT THE PROFEPA HAS GENERATED JUST FOR TRYING TO HELP THEM. THE ZOOLOGICAL INSTITUTIONS OF AZCARM HAVE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY IN THE EXAMINATION AND MEDICAL ATTENTION OF THE EXEMPLARS, IN THE ADAPTATION OF SPACES IN THE ZOOS AND IN EVERYTHING THAT IMPLICATES THE TRANSFERS. IT IS A LOT OF WORK AND A LOT OF RESOURCES THAT WE HAVE INVESTED IN HELPING THEM.β We suggest: Dehydrated and badly injured: this was the rescue of the big cats of the Black Jaguar-White Tiger foundation the endless rescue Black Jaguar-White Tiger was closed in July this year and the animals were relocated after check-ups and treatments to improve their health. Their destinations were the states of Puebla, MichoacΓ‘n, Sinaloa, State of Mexico and Mexico City. It is planned to continue with the transfers to Guanajuato, Veracruz, Morelos and Chiapas. However, according to a statement from AZCARM, the state agency in charge of following up on the rescue has engaged in bad practices. βIT REALLY IS A NIGHTMARE AND IT IS VERY UNPLEASANT NOT TO BE ABLE TO HELP SIMPLY BECAUSE WE ARE NOT ALLOWED; THEY LEAVE OUR PERSONNEL OUTSIDE, THEY DO NOT GIVE OUR GROUP OF VETERINARIES ACCESS TO VARIOUS AREAS AND WHEN THEY DO, THEY DO IT WITH VERY BAD MANNERS AND EVEN BEHAVE AGGRESSIVE.β Zazueta directly points to Patricio Rodolfo Vilchis Noriega, General Director of Forest Inspection and Surveillance of PROFEPA, as the main person responsible for these actions. For its part, PROFEPA reported that the lioness Lucky is undergoing treatment while awaiting the results of the studies performed on her. Unfortunately, in the midst of the administrative disorder and the media accusations launched between instances, those who have suffered the most are the animals. https://www.ngenespanol.com/animales/que-ha-pasado-caso-black-jaguar-white-tiger/

Great Wall presents in Chile the latest evolution of its family of trucks, the Wingle 7, based on the platform of the current Wingle 6 but longer and better developed. Both its aesthetics and its interior design have changed significantly, thus distancing itself from its more utilitarian past and approaching much more refined and equipped proposals. With a capacity of one ton, its four versions are powered by a two-liter turbodiesel engine, with 140 Hp and 315 Nm, with the option of simple or four-wheel drive. In more equipped versions you can find leather seats, ESP and six airbags, among others. https://www.autocosmos.cl/autos/camionetas-chinas

he day after the House Jan. 6 committee wrapped up its most recent public hearing, all eyes turned to Washingtonβs federal courts last Friday. Not only did a jury convict former Trump White House adviser Steve Bannon of two counts of contempt of Congress on that day, but eagle-eyed observers also noticed another, more cooperative Trump World figure exiting the courthouse: Marc Short, former chief of staff to former Vice President Mike Pence. Soon after, reports emerged that Short and another former Pence aide, counsel Greg Jacob, testified last week before a federal grand jury investigating the events surrounding the Jan. 6 attack. And on Tuesday night, The Washington Post reported that grand jury has been questioning witnesses, including but apparently not limited to Short and Jacob, about their βconversations with Trump, his lawyers, and others in his inner circle who sought to substitute Trump allies for certified electors from some states Joe Biden won.β The revelation that the Justice Department is investigating then-President Donald Trumpβs actions comes as some of his aides are working to put visible distance between themselves and their former boss. And perhaps no group highlights that trend more clearly than the alumni of the Trump White House counselβs office. For starters, when Short was seen leaving the courthouse last Friday, a second recognizable Trump alum was at his side: Emmet Flood. Flood, a partner with Washingtonβs storied Williams & Connolly, has had a fascinating career. One of then-President Bill Clintonβs lawyers during his impeachment, Flood later worked in the White House Counselβs Office during George W. Bushβs administration. And most recently, before Flood was Shortβs lawyer, he served as the White Houseβs head lawyer for special counsel Robert Muellerβs Russia investigation and was even briefly acting White House counsel until Pat Cipollone arrived. When he left the White House in June 2019, Trump was effusive in his praise, tweeting that his βfriendβ Emmet had done a βGREAT JOB.β Continue reading https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/maddow-blog-ex-trump-white-house-lawyers-take-sides-β-against-trump/ar-AA102SMr?li=BBnb7Kz
