Jumanji the Video Game ..
Even children can skip this game
The original storyline of the 2017 film tells of four high school kids discovering an old video game console they've never heard of, and when they play, they are immediately drawn to the fantasy world of Jumangi games full of puzzles, challenges and terrifying monsters, and their characters themselves are changed into larger versions. Age and literally become the avatars they chose to enter the game.
Players can choose between the four main characters in the film to experience at the beginning of each stage or tournament, namely, the adventurer played by the wrestler and actor Dwayne Johnson, scientist Kevin Hart and Professor Jack Black and warrior Karen Gilan.
In the film, these four must overcome the dangers, solve the mystery of the Jumangi game and discover the secrets that have been in it for twenty years or remain there forever.
The theme does not seem as big or enthusiastic in the game as it is in the original film, because the game does not tell you any of these details, and the character selection screen is similar to any other game you have played before of the same type and gives you a metaphor for what you will find after you choose Your character is that what you'll get is another boring shooting game that doesn't offer anything new and doesn't even intend to start.
Your goal at any stage or map is to collect the statues to open a closed door, then defeat some enemy soldiers while standing to protect a crystal, then collect statues to open the closed doors again and so on until the stage is finished.
Even as the difficulty of one stage increases (there are three difficulties for each map) the basic shape of the stage will not change and all that changes is the damage your character receives from the enemies.
Unfortunately, Jumanji is a game that does not have any specific goal, nor does it understand exactly what today's children want or need for the basic elements to develop their cognitive sense through their video game.
Characters move exactly the same way Fortnite characters move and use repeating sentences (or almost one sentence) to comment on anything and everything that happens in the game.
Each character can use one particular weapon that distinguishes it from other characters such as the arrow thrower, gun or other long-range weapons, as well as the possibility of throwing bombs and maneuvering enemies with punches and use a powerful blow that varies from each character to disperse enemies.
The idea is that there are only two types of enemies in all the game maps and even on one map there is no greater challenge than defeating the same enemies in different numbers only until the mission is over.
There is no real difference between the characters to make you choose from them or develop them other than aesthetic possibilities that you can open when you use the same character repeatedly, but the real incentive to re-play does not exist.
All characters move and work the same way, making other players take different roles to help the rest of the team unnecessarily.
All we got from Jumanji the Video Game is a copy of the po[CENSORED]r game among children Fortnite with some general changes.
You can do whatever you want at any time and this will be enough to get the job done. The only real difference from Fortnite can be found in the way missions are designed. For example, traps such as ground thorns or sharp moving fibers can be found just like the traps in the film that need players to adjust the time and focus in order to get past them properly.

The atmosphere is a bit like cartoon movies or games that existed in the PlayStation 1 era. You don't need to think where to go because the areas on the map are too narrow and you can see statues hidden in their corners from long distances.
The music associated with each map is also not noticeable most of the time and sometimes you felt that the primary music stays with you throughout the stage without any change or that it completely disappear and you can not hear it for the rest of the time.
The game has no kind of inappropriate hints that have spoiled the original movie. So if you want your kids to live the Jumanji experience but you are not completely satisfied with the style or curve of the film, you can experience the game with complete confidence.
But I do not guarantee that the game will enjoy enough enjoyment for a long period of time because of its repetitive and boring way of offering a new and suitable experience for children.
Unfortunately, the players in Jumangi get a few hours of repetitive and boring fun on four different maps in shape but similar in content.
The game could have been something better and bigger if it had been worked hard instead of treating the original content of the film in such a sad way.
Note: Jumanji can't be tried with friends online before November 18, but I don't think the gameplay or idea of the game will be much different from what is currently in this add-on, however we will go back and update the review to release the final rating.
The game also contains a full Arabic translation of menus and texts, but you don't need to read much to enjoy it.
