  1. Fotor is one of the most advanced online photo editors you can find, which offers you the possibility to work without installing programs or applications both on the computer and on mobile devices. It puts at your disposal basic functions, such as trimming, turning or flipping, and other more advanced, including adjustments of tone and color. In addition, it also has filters, effects, stickers, frames, beauty retouches and other tools that will allow you to improve your photos. Of course, of all these alternatives to edit photos online, there are much more advanced tools that allow you to get more professional results with the edition. The issue is that all those alternatives require installing a program (or an application, in the case of mobiles), and that is why they are not included in this article. For a quick edition, these websites will suffice. Phixr is an alternative quite similar to Photoshop online. The image editing interface is similar to the programs that we have all used on the computer, and in addition to the basic functions of rotating, cropping or copying, you can also insert different stickers or even texts in meme format into your photographs.

Demos for Windows, Mac and Linux were made available on 30 September 2009. A future release for the Wii's WiiWare service was cancelled as of November 2011 due to WiiWare's 40MB limit.Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux and Android versions of this game were released along with Humble Indie Bundle for Android 4 on 8 November 2012, to customers who paid over the average pric The Windows Phone version was released on 22 March 2014. Machinarium opens with an overview of the eponymous city as a disposal flier launches from the pinnacle of its highest tower. The player character, a robot called Josef (named after Josef Čapek, the creator of the word "robot" and brother to Karel Čapek is dumped on a scrapheap, where he re-assembles himself and sets off for the city. Entering the city, he discovers a plot by the Black Cap Brotherhood, his three criminal antagonists, to blow up the city's tower. Unfortunately, he is himself discovered and locked up. After breaking out of prison, Josef aids the citizens of the city, as he discovers the mischief which the Brotherhood has been working. Shortly after flooding the Brotherhood's room (leaving them helpless), Josef locates his girlfriend Berta, who has been locked up and forced to cook. Unable to free her, he works his way to the top of the tower. After he foils the Black Cap Brotherhood's plot by disarming the bomb taped to the tower, Josef reaches the highest room, in which the story began. A huge-headed robot, the "head" of the city, sits in the middle of the room, incapacitated and gibbering. Josef recalls how the three of them lived happily until the Black Cap Brotherhood zapped this friend, leaving him disabled, and kidnapped Berta. When a garbage sucker arrived to dispose of the Black cap thug, it apprehended Josef instead. After this revelation, Josef restores his friend to sanity, dumps the Brotherhood down a drain, and frees Berta. The two of them climb back to the tower, wave goodbye to their friend, and fly off into the sunset. In the final closing scene, their vehicle suffers a collision and falls, and they are seen being carried away separately by two fliers. Machinarium has sold over 4 million units as of 15 July 2016 from which 49% is for PC, 44% Mobile devices and 7% Consoles.
  4. Modern Combat 5: Blackout is a 2014 first-person shooter developed by Gameloft Bucharest and published by Gameloft. It is the fifth installment of the Modern Combat series and the sequel to Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour. It was released on July 24, 2014 for iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8, Windows 8.1 and BlackBerry 10, on October 24, 2018 for Steam, and for Nintendo Switch on February 14, 2019. It is the first game in the Modern Combat series to be free-to-play on all platforms except for BlackBerry 10 and Nintendo Switch, and is also the first game in the series that is developed by Gameloft Bucharest. The World Liberation Army, a terrorist organization, had attacked Venice to steal chemical weapons held by the United Nations. Cayden Phoenix, a freelance military contractor working for Gillam Security, is sent to Venice as part of a security task force to counter the terrorists. His companion, Jonathan "Bull" Taylor, is dismissed for suspicions of illegal arms sales. After the counter-insurgency, Phoenix travels to a battle-destroyed Tokyo for a Gillam Security cybersecurity summit, where he concludes with Sophie "Roux" Daviau, her supervisor that the attack on Venice was supported by Gillam Security. Phoenix also reveals the company's blackmail tactics, forcing him to not investigate further as to risk damage to his daughter. However, Phoenix is intercepted by an explosion, and he awakes in the Rinnōji Temple. Phoenix escapes from the raider-controlled temple with assistance from a nurse, and meets with Isaac Tukura and a man named Andrews. They travel back to Tokyo to a safe house. Their travel is intercepted by raiders and Gilman Security drones. As they arrive at their safe house, attacks continue before Roux and others disperse drone forces. Now safe, Roux and Phoenix continue their conversation, where Roux reveals that Bull will make a deal with terrorist Everett Saunders. It is also revealed that Gilman controlled the World Liberation Army, and that they planned to start a world war via cyber security attacks and chemical warfare. Phoenix and others kills Bull before he can work further with terrorists, and upon returning, he plans to infiltrate Gilman headquarters to retrieve information that would prove Gilman's involvement with terrorist organizations. They hack Gilman and retrieve information, only to be intercepted by Saunders. In a final confrontation, Phoenix kills Saunders, and later, the information Roux gathered is given to the UN. Gilman executives are arrested, and warfare in Tokyo ends. Gameplay in Modern Combat 5: Blackout is similar to previous entries in the series. The player can shoot, crouch, sprint, throw grenades, aim, reload their weapons, leap to obstacles, knife enemies, change/pick up weapons, and use abilities supported by the equipped class. A new key feature to Modern Combat 5 is the ability to choose soldier classes ranging from assault, heavy, sniper, recon, support, bounty hunter, sapper, X-1 Morph, and the Kommander. Each of which has its own different perks and weapons), although a player's class does not prevent the player from picking up different classes' weapons in-game. As the player continues in certain classes and acquires a "weapon score", new guns and attachments to use in both the campaign and multiplayer are unlocked. Modern Combat 5 is the first Modern Combat game in the series to use DRM and requires a constant internet connection to play (an internet connection is required for the campaign as well as multiplayer). One major change in the campaign of Blackout, compared to previous Modern Combat titles, is that the missions are shorter. A mission can last five to ten minutes, noticeably shorter than missions of previous entries. Modern Combat 5: Blackout also introduces allies, characters who follow along with the player, often joining in during conflicts. Like Zero Hour, the campaign missions in Modern Combat 5: Blackout vary in style. The game is primarily a first person shooter, but missions include controlling turrets on boats, helicopters, and even drones.

    Battlefield 5

Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield V is the sixteenth installment in the Battlefield series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018. Those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game were granted early access to the game on November 15, 2018, and Origin Access Premium subscribers on PC received access to the game on November 9, 2018. The game is based on World War II and is a thematic continuation of its World War I based precursor Battlefield 1. Pre-release reception of the game was mixed, with the announcement trailer causing backlash from fans of the series for the degree of historical inaccuracy and the inclusion of female soldiers. Upon release, Battlefield V received generally favourable reviews from critics, being praised for its gameplay but criticized for its shortage of content at launch and lack of innovation. The game sold 7.3 million copies by the end of 2018 but was a commercial disappointment for Electronic Arts. Battlefield V will focus extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and removing "abstractions" from game mechanics toincrease realism. There will be an expanded focus on player customization through the new Company system, where players will be able to create multiple characters with various cosmetic and weapon options. Cosmetic items, and currency used to purchase others, will be earned by completing in-game objectives. The game will feature several new multiplayer modes, including the "continuous" campaign mode "Tides of War", "Firestorm", and "Grand Operations". The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the "Operations" mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war. In Grand Operations, each round will have specific objectives, and performance in each stage will influence the next. Games will culminate with a "Final Stand", with players using only a primary weapon with limited ammo, and no respawns. Similarly to Battlefield 1, the game will feature a collection of single-player "war stories" based on aspects of World War The game also features a cooperative mode not seen since Battlefield 3 called "Combined Arms", where four players can undertake missions together and features dynamic missions and objectives so missions cannot be played the same way each time. Combined Arms is scheduled to be released after launch The Battle Royale mode will be built around the franchise's "core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles" The name "Firestorm" is derived from a literal storm of fire that engulfs players similar to the po[CENSORED]r Battle Royale game mechanic of restricting the play area. Furthermore, this particular game mode is not being developed by EA DICE themselves, but has been outsourced to Criterion Games and features the biggest map created by the franchise to date. It is playable by 64 players, which are divided into up to 16 squads with a focus on team work.[citation needed] Firestorm is scheduled to be released in March 2019.
  6. 86 deputies publish on Wednesday a platform in the Figaro to ask the government to restore a tax "fair and readable". These members believe that the anger expressed against the measure is linked to a lack of fair redistribution of the tax levied, unlike countries like Canada, where this type of tax is perfectly accepted by the po[CENSORED]tion. The signatories hope to see this issue come back in the context of the Great National Debate. This is the measure at the origin of this fluorescent yellow wave that the government still struggles to bail out: the increase in taxation on fuel prices. In a tribune published Wednesday by the Figaro, 86 deputies, from different political groups in the Assembly, asked the executive to consider the return of the carbon tax, in a "fair and readable". According to the signatory parliamentarians, including Cédric Villani, Barbara Pompili, Joel Giraud and Matthieu Orphelin who left the LaRem group last week, this return must be part of "the debate started with citizens in the framework of the Great National Debate" . This measure was abandoned in December in a first effort - considered insufficient - the President of the Republic to calm the crisis of yellow vests. More "than a pretext to make the French pay more and more" The signatories of the tribune attempt to circumvent the highly political aspect of this taxation. "For us, carbon taxation is not a dogma, nor a political marker. It is, among other things, an effective tool for changing investment decisions, promoting virtuous behavior, giving an advantage to vehicles or boilers that consume little or no fossil fuels, and responding to the emergency climate change, "explains the text. Members take British Columbia as an example: in this Canadian province, fuel taxation is accepted by citizens because the government redistributes 100% of the revenue in the form of aid to citizens or businesses in the energy transition. "Many citizens are convinced that the carbon tax is just an excuse to pay more and more French to increase public spending they no longer receive the benefits," note the 86 deputies. "Promote virtuous behavior" MEPs plead for "a new contract between the state, citizens, local authorities, environmental and consumer associations and trade unions" around a "fair" taxation, and also to listen to "ideas from the field" in the context of the great debate. The carbon tax is "among others, an effective tool to change investment decisions, promote virtuous behavior, give an advantage to vehicles or boilers that consume little or no fossil fuels, and meet the needs of investors. 'climate emergency,' they add.

  9. Google announced that its security indicators for HTTPS and HTTP pages will change starting this fall, in versions 69 and 70 of Chrome. HTTPS websites will not longer be shown as "Secure," while HTTP pages will be shown as "Not Secure" in red font, when users enter data. Evolution Of Web Security Indicators Over the past couple of years, both Chrome and Firefox have started encouraging web developers to adopt HTTPS encryption by giving them small incentives such as showing their websites’ address next to a padlock icon with a “Secure” label in green. This was supposed to make users trust these websites more, because the data exchange between the user and the server would be encrypted. Since then, and due in no small part to the Let’s Encrypt project, which is backed by Mozilla, EFF, and others and has been offering free HTTPS certificates to everyone, many more websites have adopted encryption. Now, Google believes that users should expect that the web is “safe by default.” Therefore, users shouldn’t need bright green labels and padlocks to know whether or not the website they visit is secure. Chrome 69 To Lose The “Secure” Label Starting with Chrome 69, which should land this September, Google’s browser will lose the green “Secure” wording, and its padlock will turn from green to grey. The company added that eventually Chrome will also use the padlock, too, and all you’ll see will be the web address without HTTP, HTTPS, or any other label or symbol next to it. It’s possible Google also doesn’t want internet users to believe that a site is “secure” just because it's using HTTPS encryption. A site could use HTTPS encryption and then still lose all of your account data to hackers due to poor server security hygiene. HTTPS encryption only guarantees that your connection to the site is secure, but it says nothing about how secure your data is on a company’s server. Chrome 70 to Add “Not Secure” Warning In Red Chrome 56 started showing users a “Not Secure” warning in grey on login pages. Starting with Chrome 70, this fall, users will see a “Not Secure” warning in red when they enter data on HTTP pages. The HTTP pages will also be labeled “Not Secure” in grey at all times. Perhaps the most controversial change in Google’s announcement is Google’s statement that users should expect the web to be safe. Whether we’re talking about HTTPS, S/MIME, or other encryption and security protocols, it may not serve users to hide what protocols are being used to protect their data. At the end of the day, this is also an issue of transparency, and users deserve to know how their traffic and data are protected. Google expects that when the “Secure” label and padlock are gone, users will continue to believe that the same sites are just as secure. However, this may not happen because users have been trained for decades to expect no security unless claimed otherwise.
  10. Today we bring you the analysis of the Orange Premium WiFi Repeater. This repeater was announced last April, and is designed to work in harmony with the Livebox Fiber or Livebox + that both Orange and Jazztel use. The key to this repeater is that it has smart WiFi, so it integrates with our WiFi network so that it is our device that automatically changes access points without having to do anything. And it works whether you're an Orange customer or a Jazztel customer. Technical characteristics of the Orange Premium WiFi Repeater The Orange Premium WiFi Repeater offers speeds up to 1700 Mbps via WiFi 802.11 ac (WiFi 5), with six internal antennas. The complete hardware features are: QT3860B CPU with 16MB of Flash Memory and 256MB of RAM. 2 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) RJ45 ports. Wi-Fi 802.11ac 4 × 4 1700 Mbps (5 GHz). Wi-Fi 802.11n 2 × 2 300 Mbps (2.4 GHz). 6 internal Wi-Fi antennas. 5 Status LEDs (Power, Signal, WPS, Mode, Internet). 2 buttons (WPS, Reset) and a LED Luminosity Selector. Power supply 12V 1.5A. ITU-T K21 + protection. RJ45 Ethernet cable category CAT5e. Dimensions and weight: 176 x 133 x 69 mm, 375 grams Unboxing and external analysis The box shows in broad strokes the main characteristics of the repeater and a view of all sides of it. When we open it we find the instruction manual, the repeater, a Cat.5e Ethernet cable and the power cable. The repeater is quite thin, and the fact that we can place it vertically gives us a greater versatility so that it occupies less space and we can place it on a shelf where it looks like another book (yes, with two lights always on). On the front of the repeater we find 4 LED indicators and the WPS button, which in descending order represent: Power (on or off) Quality of the connection between the repeater and the router WPS status Mode: repeater, access point or client On the side of the router we also have an orange LED. We can adjust the lighting in Normal, Reduced or Only Front, in which the side light is completely turned off. In the lower part we find the configuration label, with the WiFi password of the repeater, the local IP address to access it, the MAC address, etc. We also see the Arcadyan logo. As confirmed by Orange, the repeater currently only works with the Liveboxes manufactured by Arcadyan. If we have it from another manufacturer we will have to wait a bit to make it compatible, or ask the operator before buying it. From there, we can plug another device via Ethernet to the second connector of the repeater as if we were connecting directly to the router, in addition to enjoying all the power of a WiFi connection without any loss. In both the repeater mode and the extender mode we have the option of creating an independent WiFi network, or integrate it into the intelligent WiFi of the Livebox Fiber. Thanks to this, the WiFi device that we connect will automatically change network when we are closer to the router or the repeater (as is the case of a smartphone). In the case of wanting to make any adjustment of the repeater, we have to access the IP address http://192.168.250.250. Once we have paired it with the router, access will be through 192.168.1.1 on the router panel, or it may also be assigned a new local IP address that can be consulted on the same router. In this repeater panel we can consult data about the network and know what devices are connected to it. In any case, through WiFi smart WiFi network will be the same in the eyes of the device we connect, with the same SSID and the same password. Speed tests In access point mode, with Ethernet cable, the speed given by the repeater is the promised, reaching speeds of up to 1 Gigabit if we transfer files locally. In the case of the speed of the optical fiber, the speed it offers is exactly the same as if we connect it directly to the router, as we can see in the next two images with the 600 Mbps symmetric without any kind of problem in both cases. In the case of WiFi, the values already vary more and depend on the quality of the card that your computer, laptop, tablet or any other device has. The speed values are identical to those offered by the Livebox Fiber in the same distance. The ones we have obtained have been the following: WiFi on the mobile next to the router: 216 Mbps download / 150 Mbps upload WiFi in the mobile in the room next to the repeater with a partition in the middle: 190 Mbps downlink / 112 Mbps upstream WiFi on the laptop next to the router: 286 Mbps download / 447 Mbps upload WiFi in the laptop in the room next to the repeater with a partition in the middle: 283 Mbps download / 206 Mbps upload The best extender offered by an operator in Spain? When buying a WiFi repeater, you must take into account where you want to place it, what use you are going to give it, and if it can be integrated directly with your router. The repeaters that Spanish operators sell for their routers are as complete as we can find, since they offer everything we need. In the case of Orange's Premium WiFi Repeater, it is completely adapted to the needs of Livebox Fiber users, as is my case. In a house with four floors, the router is in the second, so the WiFi is quite attenuated to the fourth floor, where I have an Ethernet for the computer. It is that Ethernet cable that I have connected to the repeater, and in turn allows me to take another Ethernet cable to the PC, also having WiFi at maximum speed in the room. And all under a single WiFi network. One of the few drawbacks that we find is that sometimes the Wi-Fi network does not change automatically when we change floors, although as a rule this is not usually the case. It may not be hooked to the other when we change plants immediately, but after a few minutes the change is usually made automatically without having to turn off and turn on the mobile's WiFi or having to select the network we want to connect to. !!
