The COVID-19 pandemic has left a lot of students, workers and people in general across the world cooped up at home, stuck in Zoom meeting after Zoom meeting and struggling to stay positive and keep themselves in a good mental state. And it looks like the current state of things is going to continue for several more months to come. On this episode of Now What, we interviewed award-winning educator Dara Feldman, whose team has created an app called Virtues Cards that gives a boost to parents, educators, team leaders and anyone who is trying to stay strong during the pandemic. The app offers a daily dose of inspiration on the human qualities everyone can call on to persevere during tough times. Virtues Cards is a free download on iPhone (rated 4.8) and Android (rated 5.0). It comes with samples of five "decks" of cards (Resilience, Reflection, Education, Family and Character). Each deck has a simple, inspirational reading about the best qualities of being human. To unlock all of the cards in a deck costs $1 to $2, depending on the deck. The practice of using the app can be as simple as "doing a virtues pick" once a week in a meeting or once a day at lunch, for example. You can open the deck you want in the app and shake your phone to get a random pick. These are like mini meditations or affirmations to inject the day with jolt of positivity.

Both of these models are designed to be powerful and feature an elegant style for any home office or as a home PC. Both of these models feature Intel's 10th generation processors and use the Integrated graphics from these processors. ECS has yet to announce the pricing for either of these All-in-One models or when these models will be available for purchase. There have been spin-offs and a detour into 3D, but picking up a new Worms game usually guarantees that it's going to be a turn-based artillery romp with exploding environments and maniacal invertebrates. Worms Rumble promises a shake-up to get rid of some of the cobwebs, but I'm not convinced it's the kind of shake-up the series needs. Making Worms a real-time affair seems sacrilegious, but I was genuinely quite excited to play a game of Worms where I had no idea what was going to happen. New territory, at last. And it's not just real-time—it's a 32-player deathmatch and battle royale deal. Awkwardly chasing trends sounds like a recipe for disaster, but I still had high hopes. Worms is always a laugh. I'm sure it will be fine, I thought to myself. It took only one deathmatch battle (the battle royale mode isn't ready yet) before I transformed into a curmudgeon who just wanted to moan about how Worms was better back in the day. It all feels so wrong! No teams, no destructible terrain, a focus on reflexes and speed instead of tactics—it's bizarre. It seems to have more in common with Soldat, which is also getting a sequel this year, than Worms. But then I played a bit more and, despite my doubts, actually started to get into it. It's missing so much of what I adore about Worms, but as a fast-paced 2D arena shooter it's actually got a few things going for it. The closed beta only contains a small selection of weapons and items, and it's absent lots of good stuff like ninja ropes, jetpacks, suicidal sheep and a lot of my faves—but the weapons that are available feel great, spitting out big cartoon projectiles and creating plenty of worm-obliterating explosions. Rumble has also preserved the slapstick nature of the series, despite the fact that the beta has hardly any of the previous games' comedic ingredients. Instead, it all comes from the real-time fights, with costumed worms hopping around, jumping on launch pads and pulling off improbably acrobatic moves. There's room to be precise and smart, but most of my fights have been chaotic, frantic battles where the outcome is never assured. One confrontation sticks in my mind. I was being chased by a heavily-armed worm who had me outgunned and I just could not lose them. I took elevators, ducked into air vents and rolled into a wee worm ball to give myself a speed boost, but to no avail, until we walked right into the middle of a much larger fight. Somehow we both survived, but the tables had turned. They were down to a sliver of health and seemed to be out of ammo, so the chase began again. Air vents, elevators, worm balls—but this time I was the hunter. We were both taken out by another player's holy hand grenade. It's only thanks to the shift to real-time that these chases are possible, and being able to react instantly to an attack instead of waiting for my turn—if my worm survives—is a novelty that I've enjoyed. But it's hard to ignore the fact that I'd probably be having a lot more fun if I could blow up the terrain or take advantage of the extreme physics to knock enemies all the way across the map. In Rumble, only stuff like air vent grates and the occasional wall can be destroyed, while the physics has been toned down quite a bit. Only one map is available in the beta, but it's a big 'un. It's still 2D (or 2.5D, rather) but has more in common with a battle royale map than, say, Worms WMD. It's a sprawling thing full of different areas, like a car park, cinema and rocket silo, and if you've got an enemy worm in your sights there's almost always a bunch of different ways you can approach them. Along with the elevators and air vents, there are also ziplines, and plenty of paths both sneaky and obvious. It's the sort of place you'll have to explore before you can really take advantage of it. The map might be too big, however, but it's hard to say because I've not been able to play with a full group. While Worms Rumble supports up to 32 players, I've yet to play a match with more than 20 during the beta. It's also visually very stale. A car park? A cinema? The art style is considerably more subdued than any game before it, featuring little of the wacky, cartoon charm of its forebears. It doesn't even have any fun with the scale. Instead of having tiny worms duking it out amid human-sized cars and buildings, everything has been shrunk down to worm-size. Or maybe the worms are just very large. I'm glad Team17 doesn't feel beholden to tradition, but the scope of the changes and the features that have been yanked out makes Rumble feel like more like a spin-off than a new Worms, and even Worms Crazy Golf has more in common with the rest of the series. The omissions also include local multiplayer and bots, so it's a pure online PvP game. As someone who plays Worms almost exclusively offline, it's just another indicator that it's not really for me. I think there's a way to marry the classic Worms shenanigans with dramatically new features, but this ain't it. The online PvP focus also gives me some worries about its potential longevity. It's a big risk, and you could fill a book with all the games that have dropped off the face of the Earth because the online scene died. KBB Editors’ Overview KBB Overall Rating: 4.3 out of 5 The 2021 BMW X4 is based on the X3 premium compact SUV/crossover. The most obvious place where they differ is around the back. The X3 is the sensible one, with a conventional SUV profile and plenty of headroom for both rows of seating. The X4 is the stylish one, sacrificing some usefulness for fastback flair. Yes, it’s the coupe aesthetic applied to a 4-door crossover. In common with the smaller X2 and larger X6, the X4’s more extrovert nature comes at extra cost. The xDrive30i is $6,600 more than a comparable X3. Generally speaking, though, the X4 range is in the same financial ballpark as its only real rival, the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Coupe. The X4 still has respectable space for people and their gear, as well as punchy engines and athletic abilities to get everyone and everything where they need to go without dawdling. And all X4 models come with all-wheel drive as standard, making them suitable for virtually any conditions. How Much Does the 2021 BMW X4 Cost? The 2021 BMW X4 xDrive30i has a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $51,600. A destination fee of $995 pushes that to $52,595. The 2021 X4 M40i starts at $62,695. Expect to pay more than $74k for an X4 M. Keep in mind these are just starting prices. Exterior colors other than white or black are an extra $550. It’s not hard to reach $78k by adding several desirable extras to an X4 M. And the Competition package is another $7,000 on top of that. Compared with the more practical BMW X3, the X4 charges an extra few thousand dollars for less interior space — but arguably more visual impact. Driving the 2021 BMW X4 Even though the 2021 X4 has the same eight inches of ground clearance as its X3 stablemate with the conventional roof (enough to help scramble over dirt and snow), the X4 feels better suited to the serious business of driving thrills. The entry-level xDrive30i has a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that’s gutsy enough to move this vehicle’s hefty 4,100 pounds from standstill to 60 mph in six seconds flat. That’s quick, especially for a crossover. All the time, the X4 feels confident and stable, making it possible to attack tight turns at higher speeds than in most other SUVs. Steering response (a traditional BMW specialty) feels well-weighted and informative. Sport mode optimizes steering, throttle, and transmission responses for spirited driving, yet doesn’t introduce any jarring feel at more leisurely paces. Highway drives in Comfort mode also reveal the X4 to be a pleasantly quiet cruiser. No one really needs the 382 horsepower of the M40i or the glorious 473 horsepower of the high-performance X4 M, but excess is a part of luxury. The X4 M40i rushes from standstill to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds. Not long ago, that was M3 territory. It also has an adaptive suspension with dynamic damper control to pretty much eliminate body roll and a differential lock to combat understeer (when the front wheels wash wide). The X4 M is 0.3 of a second faster to 60 mph and has a top speed of 173 mph. Or 177 mph with the Competition package that boosts output to 503 horsepower as well. Favorite Features LIVE COCKPIT PROFESSIONAL Standard in every X4, this all-digital setup features a wide and crisp 10.25-inch central display on the dash and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster. As well as working extremely well, it adds a high-end futuristic touch to the X4’s interior. M40i It isn’t necessary to spend extra on the M40i to have fun in an X4. The xDrive30i is already sporty. But the M40i’s handling, powerful engine, and popping exhaust help take the X4 to another level. And there’s a special something about an inline-6 engine. 2021 BMW X4 Interior The X4’s 5-seater cabin has that clean, contemporary, and premium-yet-understated feel that’s another BMW hallmark. The upholstery is offered in simulated leather or the real stuff, and in an array of colors. Tacora Red and Cognac really stand out. As mentioned in Favorite Features above, the latest iDrive 7.0 infotainment system includes digital displays. Many functions for the central screen are accessed by a rotary controller or by extra buttons to the right of the gear selector. Over the years, iDrive has become increasingly user-friendly. The front seats are comfortable and well-bolstered. Noise levels are muted to a pleasant hush. The asymmetrical transmission selector might be an acquired taste for some. The sloping roofline means about two fewer inches of headroom in the BMW X4 compared with the X3, but it’s still usable. Cargo space is also adequate for its size: 18.5 cubic feet behind the rear seats growing to over 50 with those seats folded. 2021 BMW X4 Exterior A curving roof differentiates the 2021 X4 from the squarer X3 SUV. That sweptback style isn’t for everyone, and it does compromise practicality. But this approach is just as valid as the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Coupe. And buyers have a greater array of choices, which is never a bad thing. LED exterior lighting is standard, along with dual exhaust outlets (four tailpipes on the X4 M). Wheel sizes range from 19 to 21 inches, with variants having their own specific designs. The xDrive30i has brushed aluminum accents at the front and sides, the M40i’s accents are in high-gloss black. Each model sports its own front fascia. The X4 M also has a special set of aerodynamic additions and is available in a few exclusive colors. 2021 BMW X4 Standard Features As the base model of the 2021 X4 range, the xDrive30i includes a dual-panel panoramic moonroof, powered tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, tri-zone automatic climate control, simulated leather upholstery, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, variable-ratio sport steering, front/rear parking sensors, and self-dimming mirrors. The X4 also has xDrive, BMW’s term for all-wheel drive. The standard infotainment system includes a 10.25-inch screen, navigation, Sirius XM with 360L, two USB ports, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration. Safety features include forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic low-speed braking, lane departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. New BMWs also include Ultimate Care, which covers three years/36,000 miles of complimentary maintenance. 2021 BMW X4 Options The hotter X4 M40i model has a 6-cylinder engine, M Sport performance exhaust, adaptive M suspension, upgraded brakes, aerodynamic exterior kit, 14-way power-adjustable front seats, hands-free tailgate operation, plus Wi-fi and wireless charging (both optional in the xDrive30i). Other options include adaptive cruise control with stop/go and partially autonomous driving, a head-up display, heated/ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, leather upholstery, 360-degree camera setup and parking assistance for parallel spaces, gesture control for the infotainment system, and a 16-speaker/600-watt Harman Kardon surround-sound system. Some of these features are standard in the X4 M. The M40i is also eligible for an M Sport rear differential to enhance the X4’s cornering talents. Again, this is standard in the X4 M. 2021 BMW X4 Engine The 2021 X4 xDrive30i has a turbocharged 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine making 248 horsepower, which is more than enough for most tastes. The M40i makes a great compromise between the entry-level X4 and the storming X4 M, with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 (yet another BMW hallmark) generating 382 horsepower. The X4 M, a bona fide BMW M performance model, boosts that 6-cylinder unit as high as 503 horsepower. With any engine, every new BMW X4 has all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission. A stop/restart feature is also included to help save some fuel while idling, but it can be turned off if drivers find it irritating. Premium gasoline is recommended across the X4 range.

The death of soccer legend Diego Maradona shocked the sports world, Wednesday evening, after a heart attack, and sealed the life of the player who achieved much for his country, Argentina and the clubs in which he played. In addition to his great accomplishments on the field, Maradona's life was punctuated by a number of "bumps", including both moral and health. Maradona's problems began to appear during his time in the Italian city of Naples in the eighties, when the Italian press began to reveal his relations with the Italian mafia gangs and his addiction to cocaine. Cocaine came back to haunt him again in the 1990s, when he was banned from playing football for 15 months in 1991, after tests confirmed that he had used cocaine. Maradona suffered another "fall" in the 1994 World Cup in the United States, when tests showed that he had consumed internationally banned substances, which led to his exclusion from the tournament, which turned out to be the last of the Argentine star with the "tango" team. In 1998, the Argentine star sparked controversy again, when he shot a journalist who followed him at the gate of his house. In terms of football, Maradona sparked controversy by scoring a goal with his hand against England, in the quarter-final match at the 1986 World Cup, a shot that went into history, and was immortalized by the photographs for decades after. Maradona also failed in his mission to coach the Argentina national team at the 2010 World Cup, so he lost a heavy 0-4 at the hands of the German rivals. Maradona was unable to repeat his legendary influence as a player, during his career as a coach, where he was subjected to many unsuccessful experiences, but it did not shake his legendary position among his fans. From the health point of view, Maradona suffered from excessive weight gain immediately after retiring from the game, which greatly affected his daily life, and put him at the center of ridicule and criticism. Then, reports indicated that he was addicted to alcohol during his retirement, which put him at great health risk. Despite losing his weight, the football legend suffered several heart attacks over the past two decades, until the last of which came on Wednesday and ended his life full of both events and accomplishments. It is reported that Maradona entered the hospital weeks ago, where he underwent brain surgery to treat a blood pool.

The Bulgarian word sirenki basically translates to “something with cheese” and is very similar to a cheese scone. You can whip up a batch quickly once your soup is simmering and you’ll have yourself a perfect soup accompaniment. Sirene is a white brined cheese very po[CENSORED]r in Bulgaria. It is often stocked in eastern European or Turkish food stores, but it is similar to Greek feta cheese, which can be used as an alternative. Bulgarian yoghurt is world renowned and for this recipe you need a live yogurt to ensure you have the lactic acid bacteria to provide an acidic mix for the bicarb to boost. Makes 10 100g sweet potato 100g live natural yoghurt 300g plain flour 2 tsp bicarbonate of soda ½ tsp fine salt 1 tsp mustard powder 200g sirene (or feta) cheese Paprika to dust before baking Peel, chop and boil the sweet potato for 10 minutes. Heat the oven to 200C/180C (fan)/400F/gas mark 6. Drain and blitz the sweet potato and yoghurt with a hand blender until smooth. Put the flour, bicarb, salt and mustard powder in a mixing bowl. Crumble the cheese and add to the bowl, then toss everything together. Pour over the sweet potato yoghurt mix and bring together to a soft dough. Roll out the dough on a lightly-floured surface until 2cm thick. Cut in any shapes you want and place on a lined baking tray. Finally, dust with the paprika. Bake for 17 minutes (or until nicely golden). Allow to cool a little and then eat fresh with soup.

So far, we also know that CloudPC initially started life under the codename “Project Deschutes” and will be accessed via cloudpc.microsoft.com – currently, the web address simply leads to a placeholder page. ASRock launches Socket SP3 motherboard in 'Deep Mini-ITX' form-factor. Small form-factor desktop PCs powered by high-performance CPUs have become quite common in the recent years. But there is also demand for compact workstations and even servers. ASRock Rack has quietly unveiled one of the industry's first motherboards for AMD's EPYC 7002-series 'Rome' processors in the so-called 'Deep Mini-ITX' form-factor. The platform will enable system makers to build SFF systems with up to 64 cores. The ASRock ROMED4ID-2T features a socket SP3 and supports AMD's EPYC 7002-series processors in the LGA4094 packaging. The manufacturer does not disclose how much power the motherboard can deliver to the CPU or the list of processors compatible with the unit. But it is unlikely that this particular platform is designed for the highest-end EPYC chips. The motherboard has four DDR4 memory slots that support RDIMM and LRDIMM modules of up to 256GB capacities (to be validated) and therefore up to 1TB of DRAM in total at up to 3200 MT/s. The platform also features one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for an accelerator or a graphics card, one M.2-2280 slot (PCIe 4.0 x4 or SATA) for SSDs and six slimline connectors for U.2 drives (PCIe 4.0 x8 or SATA). Internal I/O of the platform is good enough both for servers and workstations. In addition, it also carries the ASPeed AST2500 baseboard management controller (BMC). As for external I/O connectors, the ASRock ROMED4ID-2T has two 10 GbE ports (controlled by the Intel X550-AT2), one GbE connector, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, which is good enough for servers, but hardly sufficient for most workstations. The 'Deep Mini-ITX' motherboard measures 6.7 inches × 8.2 inches (17 cm × 20.8 cm). Therefore the ASRock ROMED4ID-2T is not going to fit into typical Mini-ITX cases, but only into those which are designed for 'deeper' motherboards with extra space inside. The board will also fit into larger desktop as well as rack chassis. Traditionally, ASRock Rack produces motherboards for various system integrators, so it's highly likely that the ROMED4ID-2T was designed for a particular customer. Meanwhile, since it is listed on the company's website, it will also be available to all interested parties. ASRock has not revealed pricing of the platform, but this is a unique product that will come at an appropriate price. ASRock is known for making rather unique Mini-ITX motherboards. Several years ago, the company introduced one of the first Intel X299-powered Mini-ITX motherboard for enthusiasts. Back then, we enquired whether the company planned to release any Mini-ITX platforms for AMD's Ryzen Threadripper processors. Years later, ASRock's server division finally developed a 'Deep Mini-ITX' motherboard with a socket SP3 -- albeit for AMD's EPYC CPUs rather than the more mainstream Threadripper line.
