Her story has drawn comparisons to the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire set in Mumbai. And her breakthrough reflects gradually changing attitudes in a country where advertising, po[CENSORED]r culture and Bollywood films glorify fair-skin as an ideal of beauty. Forest Essentials must have seen something similar to what Robert Hoffman saw, when the American actor and choreographer posted videos on Instagram and YouTube of time spent with girl and her family in 2020. Cheeky and polite, Maleesha talks in a voice that bursts with happiness, belying the hardship she's known, having lost her mother at a young age, leaving her father to juggle his day job while raising two children. Knowing the power of the Internet, Hoffman helped her launch a "Go Fund Me" campaign. Since then, Maleesha has become a social media influencer, using the hashtag 'the princess from the slum' in some of her posts. At the last count her Instagram account had 367,000 followers, and rising. 3. Narges Mohammadi received her award for fighting oppression of women and promoting human rights Imprisoned Iranian human rights activist Narges Mohammadi has won the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize. Announcing the decision, the Norwegian Nobel Committee said Ms Mohammadi, 51, was honoured for her fight against the oppression of women in Iran. Her struggle has come at a "tremendous personal cost," committee chairwoman Berit Reiss-Andersen said. She said Ms Mohammadi was currently serving a 31-year jail term in Iran, and had been subjected to 154 lashes. Who is Nobel Peace Prize winner Narges Mohammadi? At Friday's ceremony in Oslo, Ms Reiss-Andersen said the prestigious award was given to Ms Mohammadi for "her fight against the oppression of women in Iran and her fight to promote human rights and freedom for all". She began her address with the words "woman - life - freedom" - a reference to the motto of recent mass protests sweeping Iran. She went on to describe the prize as recognition of the hundreds of thousands of Iranians who have demonstrated over the past year against the "theocratic regime's policies of discrimination and oppression targeting women" - a movement headed, she said, by the new Nobel prize winner. Millions of Iranians will be cheering this award along with human rights activists around the world. The Nobel committee decision also sends a very strong signal of disapproval to the Iranian authorities. At the ceremony, Ms Reiss-Andersen also urged Iran to release Ms Mohammadi from jail so she could attend the prize ceremony in December. "If the Iranian authorities make the right decision they will release her so she can be present to receive this honour, which is what we primarily hope for." But it seems highly unlikely that the activist will actually be able to pick up her prize. The UN said the award highlighted "the courage and determination of the women of Iran and how they are an inspiration to the world". Ms Mohammadi has revealed harrowing details of how women are being abused in Tehran's Evin prison Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, a British-Iranian national who spent time in Tehran's Evin jail with Ms Mohammadi until she was released in March 2022, said she was pleased for her friend. "It makes me cry. She did so much for all of us in Evin. Narges is an inspiration and a pillar to the women in the female ward in Evin for her fearless fight against violations of women's rights, the use of solitary confinement and execution in the judicial system in Iran. "This award belongs to every single Iranian woman who, one way or another, has been and remains a victim of injustice in Iran." As well as her lengthy jail term, Ms Mohammadi has been arrested 13 times and convicted five times. Last December, she wrote from prison to give the BBC harrowing details of how Iranian women detained in demonstrations were being sexually and physically abused. She said such assaults had become more common during the protests, triggered by the death in police custody of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in September 2022. The unrest later spread across the country, with demands ranging from more freedoms to an overthrow of the state. Images of Iranian women defiantly setting their headscarves on fire captivated the world. The Iranian authorities have brutally cracked down on the protests and they have largely subsided. Ms Mohammadi is deputy head of the Defenders of Human Rights Center. Last year, she was included in the BBC's 100 Women - a high-profile list of 100 inspiring and influential women from around the world. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-67026216
  4. Even the greatest creatives get stumped sometimes and that's a good time to take a step back to gain a new perspective. TLR Games did this when they came up with the concept for the game IDEA. It's a relaxing exploration game that is controlled by tapping and dragging. With well-timed interaction, you can bounce ideas around the map to visit new areas and collect new thoughts. It gives the sense of traveling on maps that have multiple entries and therefore multiple angles to use to gain more speed and a new perspective. Also, make sure you share any bright ideas. WHAT IS IDEA? When we get a good idea, we have a tendency to latch onto it and take it to as many wonderful places as we can. This is the feeling behind IDEA and it's a lovely one. This is a pure experience that is meant to help you unwind and relax. But, it's also meant to help you think, but not in the way you usually do. Rather than bouncing ideas off other creators, you're bouncing your own ideas off the world around you. With the maps being hyper-realistic and live, it cements the reality of thinking in real-time in the real world about what you want to do But, what do you do in this game? Well, you are the shepherd of your own idea that takes the form of a lightbulb in a bubble. You can help it bounce around by tapping near it with your finger and producing a shockwave. However, you learn quickly that you can't spam this, which is a good thing. It's sort of like a metaphor for being unable to force an idea, you just need to let it develop on its own sometimes. With the timer at the top and other types of idea icons to collect, it causes you to think about how you can make the most of it. A BAD IDEA Sometimes we don't realize a bad idea until it's stuck around for a while or until after it has had negative effects. With IDEA, the negatives are seen mainly in its limitations. This is more of an activity than a game, a tool to help you unwind. While there's nothing wrong with that, it may not provide the stimulation that you're looking for so many people think differently. You'll also need to get used to the fact that you'll be seeing a lot of the same screens over and over again. If you're trying to visit every map, it may be helpful to draw a map of your own. IDEALLY IDEA IDEA Is a top-down relaxation game about bouncing ideas around maps based on the real world. It's relaxing and pleasant while also helping you to see things from a new perspective. However, it's not an activity for everyone and it can feel lacking considering it's trying to help you think. But, that may not be the point, it's just an idea. https://www.pocketgamer.com/idea/review/
  5. The upcoming remake of the original Witcher will be an open world game, CD Projekt has confirmed. In a report to investors(opens in new tab) [PDF] today, the publisher said that the new game is an "open-world RPG" and "a modern reimagining" of the original. The original Witcher RPG released in 2007, and was divided into a number of large maps which contained smaller crypt and cave maps, but didn't feature a seamless open world in the sense that The Witcher 3 does. A better comparison would be Dragon Age: Origins. We haven't yet heard a ton about CD Projekt's plans for the remake, which was announced in October. Aside from this new description, though, we do know that its development is being led by Fool's Theory, maker of recent RPG Seven: The Days Long Gone, under CD Projekt's supervision. "Collaborating with Fool's Theory on the project is just as exciting, as some of the people there have been previously involved in The Witcher games," CD Projekt Red studio head Adam Badowski said back when the remake was announced. "They know the source material well, they know how much gamers have been looking forward to seeing the remake happen, and they know how to make incredible and ambitious games. And although it will take some time before we’re ready to share more about and from the game, I know it’ll be worth the wait." CD Projekt is also working on a new Witcher trilogy and spin-off games (plus Cyberpunk stuff and a new game world), so it makes sense that it'd put this remake in the hands of another studio. We liked Seven: The Days Long Gone quite a bit: In his review, Fraser said it was "a brilliant stealth sandbox and unconventional RPG in one very ambitious but buggy package." Hopefully we'll get a similar success from the Witcher remake, aside from the thing about it being buggy. (Not that we'd be surprised by bugs in a big open world RPG.) Tyler grew up in Silicon Valley alongside Apple and Microsoft, playing games like Zork and Arkanoid on the early personal computers his parents brought home. He was later captivated by Myst, SimCity, Civilization, Command & Conquer, Bushido Blade (yeah, he had Bleem!), and all the shooters they call "boomer shooters" now. In 2006, Tyler wrote his first professional review of a videogame: Super Dragon Ball Z for the PS2. He thought it was OK. In 2011, he joined PC Gamer, and today he's focused on the site's news coverage. After work, he practices boxing and adds to his 1,200 hours in Rocket League. https://www.pcgamer.com/the-witcher-remake-will-be-an-open-world-reimagining/
  6. In China, a news story is floating that a pregnant woman tried to evade customs with over 200 Intel CPUs attached to her fake prosthetic belly. Chinese Woman Tries To Evade Customs With Fake Proesthetic 'Pregnant' Belly, Gets Caught With Over 200 Intel CPUs Chinese customs authorities report that the woman named, Zhao, has been identified as a resident of Zhuhai, Guangdong in China. She came to Macau recently & was trying to enter back into China mainland through the Gongbei Port in Zhuhai. While at the port, the Chinese customs authorities noticed something was off about the woman and asked her for inspection. The woman alleged that she was pregnant for 5-6 months but upon a closer look by the customs agents, it was identified that the woman had a fake prosthetic belly attached to her. However, the news agency reports that the size of her belly made it seem like she was in her third trimester and was walking comfortably. After having the fake belly removed, the customs authorities found a total of 202 Intel CPUs and 9 mobile phones within the fake prosthetic. All of the components were held firmly by scotch tape and this takes tax evasion to the next level. Reports confirm that the Intel CPUs that were recovered from the lady are all 12th Gen Intel Alder Lake CPUs and the mobile phones seem to be Apple's latest iPhones. This isn't the first time Chinese customs have busted similar cases, earlier this year, an individual was caught with 160 Intel Alder Lake CPUs attached to his body. Given how close this new case sounds & feels to the older case, this might be a common tactic by customs evaders used in China. There have also been cases of several companies trying to evade taxes by shipping mislabeled graphics cards in the past too. https://wccftech.com/chinese-woman-fakes-pregnancy-tries-to-evade-customs-over-200-intel-alder-lake-cpus/
  7. Warzone 2.0 arrived practically a few days after Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, although not without controversy due to a PC version that is a real disaster. Even so, in fits and starts, it has been reconnecting with its community and on consoles it remains strong thanks to the new map that has changed the rules of the game. Where should you go? If you go back to Activision's battle royale now, we are going to briefly explain the places you have to go to because, as you well know, in this type of titles it is as important to have precision and ability to hit the enemies as it is not to lose time to get what you need. before a team that guarantees us to survive until the last instances of the game. So if you like, we are going to show you the new map of Al Mazrah and we are going to indicate which points to visit practically as you step foot on it, which, let's remember, is made up of 18 essential points of interest, 25 areas and dozens of other enclaves of secondary interest that could distract you from coming and going to those who are really decisive for the battle. Basic interest to arrive as soon as possible In the event that you want to be among the first to reach certain places on the map, those where you can become strong and receive the other players with good weapons, we recommend you descend (if you arrive) in the following enclaves or, at least , go to them without wasting a second. Oasis Tarak Village Zarqwa Hydroelectric Mawizeh Marshlands Sattiq Caves Zaya Observatory Al Sharim Pass Hafid Port Sawah Village Samman Cemetery Sarrif Bay Rohan Oil Al Safwa Quarry Al Mazrah City Ahkdar Village Sa'id City Al Bagra Fortress Al Malik Airport Do you want to rearm? Come here If, on the other hand, the equipment is not a problem, but you want to recover ammunition for the following skirmishes, then the paths you must follow are different. This is the list of areas where you will have a chance to pick up ammo: Bank of Adal Food market Burger Town communications tower Police station Medical Center Fire station Gas station (ground) Gas station (sea) And is it already? Simply by following what we told you before we will have the game on the right track, with supplies and a team powerful enough to go looking for a brawl in the open field, although if you are more of a camper (yeah, yeah, everyone hates them), a good structure can save your life. https://hardzone.es/noticias/tarjetas-graficas/rtx-4070-ti-especificaciones-filtradas/

  14. On the eve of the plebiscite on December 17, in which Chilean citizens will demonstrate “In Favor” or “Against” the proposal for a new constitution supported by the Republican Party and Chile Vamos, political analyst Pepe Auth offered a vision criticism about the process and its possible implications. According to the former deputy and former PPD militant, citizens are driven by distrust and hopelessness, fueled by the feeling of having been “walked around” for four years. In a new chapter of Al Pan Pan with Mirna Schindler, the analyst highlighted the perception that the responses to the demands expressed in the social outbreak—beyond violence—were diverted towards a more legal than social pact. The result, according to Pepe Auth, is a “lawyers' pact” that does not adequately address essential social issues, such as pensions and work, that were the driving force of discontent. The analyst suggested that the po[CENSORED]tion perceives that regardless of what is written in the new Constitution, their lives will not experience significant changes. In his view, frustration and mistrust have taken root, creating a perception that the constitutional process has failed to address society's true needs. Auth highlighted that, although politicians have their relevance in the process, they are not decisive. He expressed his belief in the existence of uncertainty because the result will not make a radical difference in the daily reality of citizens. For Auth, the probability of failure is considerable, arguing that the process has already failed by not achieving consensus to establish common rules of the game between political actors and society as a whole. “The process has already failed, it did not achieve consensus to define common rules of the game for all political actors and society,” he stated. From this perspective, Auth hinted that the result of the plebiscite could be, to a certain extent, indifferent. However, he assured that someone for whom he is not indifferent is the leader of the Republican Party and former presidential candidate José Antonio Kast. Pepe Auth facing the constitutional plebiscite: “The process has already failed, it did not achieve consensus” Pepe Auth warned that distrust towards the constitutional process, perceived as a “lawyers' pact” that does not address social demands, could result in a plebiscite where indifference predominates, with the probability of a total failure of special relevance for José Antonio Kast . https://www.elmostrador.cl/noticias/pais/2023/11/15/pepe-auth-de-cara-al-plebiscito-constitucional-el-proceso-ya-fracaso-no-logro-consenso/
  15. A new start after 60: I had my first psychedelic experience at 68 After hearing some home truths from his wife on his 65th birthday, Scott Wright was determined to figure out ‘who the hell I was’. He ended up on a hallucinogenic retreat in Mexico Paula Cocozza @CocozzaPaula Mon 22 May 2023 07.00 BST At his 65th birthday party, Scott Wright’s wife, Martha, made a toast. Her speech, in front of their friends and family, highlighted the accomplishments of Wright’s eclectic career. He had grown up in Chicago, she began, starting out as a radio DJ, before working as a promotion executive for the record label Epic on campaigns for Michael Jackson, Pearl Jam and Céline Dion. In 1999, he had moved on again, to Napa Valley, California, to pursue his dream of making wine. He and Martha had sold the business in 2014, with Wright turning to film-making. “And then,” Wright says, “she noted that I had a reputation for being a bit of a dick.” Martha’s words gave Wright the push he needed to “start getting serious about figuring out who the hell I was”. To this end, in March, at 68, he travelled to Mexico for his first psychedelic experience. He had read Michael Pollan’s 2018 book, How to Change Your Mind, as well as the research of Roland Griffiths, a professor in psychiatry and neuroscience, and expected “a very intimate and personal” trip. “I couldn’t imagine getting the full experience in a room full of people on their own journeys,” he says. So he booked a one-to-one retreat for “young elders”, run by Maria Camille, in San Miguel de Allende. On day one, Camille instructed Wright to compose a letter to the mushroom, “expressing my intentions and thoughts and fears”. On day two, Wright took psilocybin, the hallucinogenic chemical contained in magic mushrooms, in small squares of dark chocolate. It’s like 20 years’ worth of therapy in a few hours “The next four and a half hours were the most profound, intense and mind-blowing minutes I have ever spent,” he says. “Above and beyond everything else, it’s an amazing light show. Once the rocket took off, I was holding on for dear life, but it turned out to be good … People say it’s like 20 years’ worth of therapy in a few hours, and I think that’s spot on.” He saw visions of his late mother, his late mother-in-law and his daughter. When it was over, he crawled into bed “and cried like a baby”. The experience felt like being reborn, he says: “I felt myself being squeezed through a canal. At one point, I could really feel something pressing on my body and I was being pushed through something. I have felt like a very, very different person since that experience.” In his late 50s, Wright had begun to embrace “new stuff”: running marathons, tattoos. “I have always been a bit of a seeker, getting out of my comfort zone,” he says. But Martha’s birthday toast instigated more meaningful change. “We started doing couples therapy. I committed to a meditation process.” In 2016, Wright had started making documentaries, most recently about the singer John Waite. Now, a film with Camille about the retreat is in pre-production. He has recently turned to writing, with a screenplay based on his time as a DJ. “I think this may be the last career,” he says. Does he feel he has got to the bottom of what Martha meant in her toast? “I was successful and I had big jobs, but I was actually very insecure and I always had this problem of feeling ‘less than’. As a result, I acted out and was braggadocious and negative to other people,” he says. “I was aware of it. I had already started to turn the corner. But that definitely helped me to focus.” Did the psychedelic experience change him? “Hopefully it has made me a more honest, nicer, kinder person ... I’ve historically been very kind with Martha, but not with humanity as a whole. She’s happy to see me making moves in that direction.” https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2023/may/22/a-new-start-after-60-i-had-my-first-psychedelic-experience-at-68
  16. It will not be easy for Real Madrid TV to compact images of Gil Manzano that reinforce their theories before the Classic. More than anything because the balance of the Extremaduran referee, chosen by the Technical Committee of Referees to direct the great game this Saturday (4:15 p.m./DAZN LaLiga), is much more favorable to the merengue interests than to the culés. It will be the third Classic that the man who was born in Don Benito 39 years ago has whistled, both with white victories. In LaLiga 2014-15, Ancelotti's Real beat Luis Enrique's Barça 3-1 with a penalty at the hands of Piqué, yellow cards for Messi, Neymar and Iniesta in the first 38 minutes, others forgiven for Cristiano, Modric and Carvajal and a red card to Sergio Ramos who was left in the pocket. In 2020-21, 2-1 for Zinedine Zidane against Ronald Koeman with Messi arguing with Gil Manzano over a disparate criterion. Vinicius exaggerated the foul that made Kroos 2-0 and then avoided two pushes in the area by Mendy on Dembélé and Braithwaite, this one clearer in the 83rd minute. https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20231026/1002094077/gil-manzano-mas-amigo-madrid-barca.html
  17. By The Associated Press TAIPEI, Taiwan — Taiwan has welcomed a pair of experts from China to help with an ailing panda in a rare opportunity for contact between the sides. The two experts arrived Tuesday after Taipei Zoo’s Tuan Tuan, suspected to have a malignant brain tumor, took a turn for the worse. The giant panda and his mate, Yuan Yuan, were gifted to the zoo in 2008 during a time of warming relations between China and Taiwan, which split amid civil war in 1949. Ties have deteriorated since then, with Beijing cutting off contacts in 2016 following the election of independence-leaning President Tsai Ing-wen, who was re-elected in 2020. Polls routinely show Taiwanese rejecting China’s demand for political unification between the sides, favoring instead the status quo of de-facto independence. China sends pandas abroad as a sign of goodwill but maintains ownership over the animals and any cubs they produce. The animals are native to southwestern China and are an unofficial national mascot. An MRI on Tuan Tuan showed that lesions on his brain had grown in a sign the disease was “progressing rapidly,” the zoo said in a news release. Zoo spokesperson Eric Tsao said the sides were pooling their knowledge and experience to provide Tuan Tuan with “the best treatment and the best daily care.” https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/china-taiwan-panda-rcna55207
  18. As part of its permanent support for strengthening the Chilean audiovisual industry, among the many activities of FIDOCS – from November 16 to 23 – interesting initiatives stand out that cross associative networks, taking advantage of strategic alliances to stimulate professional training, the appearance of new talents and the circulation of their creations. DOCS IN PROGRESS + CONNECT For the third consecutive year, FIDOCS partners with the International Documentary Industry Meeting, CONECTA to select seven Latin American feature films in the editing stage. During FIDOCS, they will receive personalized advice from professionals in the areas of editing, direction and script. Among the advisors, Paz Encina, Kiro Russo, Gustavo Fontán, Tiziana Panizza, Alejandra Moffat, Titi Viera Gallo and Melisa Miranda stand out. Then, during Conecta 2023 - from December 12 to 15 - they will participate in group and one-on-one feedback sessions with national and international representatives of the audiovisual industry, in addition to a personal distribution and circulation advisory session. The Fidocs industry area is led by national producer Marcela Santibáñez, nominated for an Oscar in 2021 for El Agente Topo. The list of selected films opens with two films from Peru: Good morning, wiraqocha, directed by Marcelo Godoy and produced by Paula Chávez López, moves 50 years towards the making of a film in the province of Paucartambo (Cusco), which activates the sociopolitical memory of its inhabitants. On the other hand, Where the Mountains Speak, directed by Álvaro Sarmiento and produced by Diego Sarmiento and Juan Francisco González, proposes a tour of Cusco, showing the ways of life of the Andean man, his worldview, religious syncretism and festivities. . Two projects also arrive from Argentina: Mailin, directed and produced by María Silvia Esteve, which tells a story about the protagonist's search to recover the memory of a childhood interrupted by years of trauma. The second film is Caregivers, directed by Gabriela Uassouf and Martina Matzkin and produced by Rocío Pichirili and Marianne Mayer-Beckh, in which three trans women enter as caregivers in a home for the elderly and the tenderness of the bonds that are forged helps to leave behind all prejudice. Venezuela contributes with Kueka ancestral memory, a film directed and produced by María de los Ángeles Peña Fonseca, in which a group of Pemón indigenous elders undertake an unprecedented fight to recover their ancestral grandmother, kidnapped in Germany; while from Mexico will come Un Murmullo Correr la Tierra, directed by Gabriela Domínguez Ruvalcaba and produced by Alex Noppel Briseño, where we follow Enedelia, who is expecting her third daughter, while in her community the fear exerted by organized violence expands like a noise deaf. https://www.elmostrador.cl/cultura/2023/11/15/fidocs-2023-ofrecera-actividades-de-industria-formativas-y-de-exploracion-de-los-nuevos-medios/
  19. You'll be able to battle against your friends soon. Marvel Snap, the mobile Marvel digital card game, released on October 18. Ahead of the holidays and new year, more details about what players can expect from Marvel Snap was released in a roadmap. The roadmap is split into three sections: "coming soon," "in development," and "in concept." Coming soon means features under this category will be launched in the near future. Battle Mode Vs. Friends is one such update, and it's been highly anticipated since November's tease. Currently, there's no way to play against your friends and Battle Mode Vs. Friends rectifies that. But Battle Mode will be different from the standard Ranked matches. Each player will have 10 bars of health and Snaps double damage done to the opponent's health. For example, if you Snap, then the damage is doubled from two to four. If you retreat, damage received is halved from two to one. Players keep playing matches until one of them loses all health. Now Playing: Marvel Snap - Official Announcement Trailer and Gameplay First Look There's still no confirmed release date, but the dev team plans to release Battle Mode Vs. Friends in the next month or two--implying players should see it in-game at the latest in Feburary. Name changes are also coming soon. Previously, you weren't able to edit usernames, and now you can. Russian and Vietnamese languages will also be added soon, along with artist credits on cards. The second category, in development, are ideas that the dev team is working on--but could be subject to changes. One of them is Smart Deck, which basically is where the AI helps you "finish" your decks or give suggestions on what cards should go in a deck. Additionally, unranked and competitive game modes are in development. Concepts are purely ideas, with no engineering done yet. Thing in this category are Guilds (Social Systems), Infinity Rank Leaderboard, Collectible Emotes and Card Emojis, Mythic Variants, Booster Magnets, Avatars & Titles by Deck, PC Controller Support, Season Cache Improvements, and In-Game Events. 20. When Activision launched Call of Duty: Warzone 2(opens in new tab) a few weeks back, Warzone 1.0 went temporarily offline while developer Raven Software focused on support for the new game. Raven has its hands busy with flying boats, infinite money glitches, and frequent crashes(opens in new tab) plaguing Warzone 2, but it has kept its promise: as of today Warzone 1.0 is back online, but it has a new name. Warzone 1 is now called Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera(opens in new tab). It's pretty much the same Warzone it was a few weeks ago, but with major features missing. There's only one map now (Caldera) and two playlist options, battle royale Quads and Solos. All of Warzone's existing weapons, custom classes, and unlocks remain intact, but there is no new battle pass or any way to unlock old battle pass content. Warzone Caldera is now essentially a Call of Duty game from before the service game era—an island of content with no roadmap or major updates in the works. A battle royale locked in time. Notably, today's relaunch has (at least for the time being) killed the small map category for both Warzone 1 and its sequel. Fortune's Keep(opens in new tab), a well-liked small map that replaced Rebirth Island earlier this year, is gone, and Activision isn't planning to add it, Rebirth, or Warzone's first map Verdansk, back anytime soon. This is sad news for the significant chunk of the Warzone community for whom the smaller, fast-paced format of Fortune's Keep/Rebirth Island had become their preferred way to play. The po[CENSORED]rity of small maps and the Resurgence ruleset (a battle royale variant that automatically respawns squadmates if at least one player is alive) has proven po[CENSORED]r enough to stay in Warzone's playlist rotation for the last two years, so it's strange to abandon it now. Warzone 2 doesn't have a small map option either, but Activision has teased "exciting developments" for fans of small maps in Warzone 2's future seasons. https://www.pcgamer.com/warzone-1-is-now-back-online-but-its-missing-key-features-and-maps/

  23. New Intel Xeon CPU rumors have been put forward by Moore's Law is Dead which highlights the core counts of next-generation families such as Sierra Forest, Granite Rapids-SP & Granite Rapids-WS. Intel Xeon Rumored Core Counts Point To 334+ Cores For Sierra Forest, 132 Cores For Granite Rapids-SP, 86 Cores For Granite Rapids-WS Moore's Law is Dead talks about three upcoming Xeon families in his latest YouTube video. These include the Granite Rapids-SP, Granite Rapids-WS, and Sierra Forest. The Granite Rapids Xeon CPU family will make use of P-Cores while the Sierra Forest is optimized for compute density and makes use of E-Cores. Intel Sierra Forest - Zen Compute Competitor With 334+ Cores So starting with the Sierra Forest family, these Xeon CPUs will be power & performance optimized to support high-density, ultra-efficient compute for the cloud. According to MLID, the Sierra Forest Xeon chips will house at least 344 cores which will be packed within 4 Compute Tiles, and each tile would pack 86 cores. The rumors also point to an even higher core count variant in the form of the 528 core variant which could pack up to 132 cores per tile but will more realistically get 512 cores as one cluster would be disabled. It is a given at this point that Intel wants to compete against all AMD offerings. While the standard Scalable family competes against the main EPYC opponents, Sierra Forest will be competing with a range of compute-optimized EPYC parts such as the upcoming Bergamo with 128 Zen 4C cores and Falcon Shores will be competing against the custom Instinct APU accelerators which will start with the upcoming MI300 accelerator coming later this year. The Intel Sierra Forest family is expected to land in 2024 and will utilize the 'Intel 3' process node. Intel Granite Rapids-SP - Up To 132 Cores Against Zen 5 EPYC With its 6th Gen Granite Rapids-SP Xeon scalable family, Intel is expected to make big changes to its lineup. As of right now, Intel has confirmed that its Granite Rapids-SP Xeon CPUs will be based on the 'Intel 3' process node (Formely 5nm EUV). The lineup is expected to launch sometime between 2023 and 2024 as Emerald Rapids will be serving as an intermediary solution & not a proper Xeon family replacement. It is stated that Granite Rapids-SP Xeon chips will utilize the Redwood Cove+ core architecture and feature increased IPC which is rumored to be anywhere between 15-25%. Intel did tease a high-level overview of its Granite Rapids-SP CPU during its 'Accelerated' keynote which featured three tiles for compute and two I/O dies at the top and sections of the interposer. As per MLID, each of these tiles can pack up to 44 cores for up to 132 cores but the actual core count will fall back to 128 cores for a better yield. On Intel 4, we are progressing towards a high-volume manufacturing and will tape out the production stepping at Meteor Lake in Q4. The first stepping of Granite Rapids is out of the fab, yielding well with Intel 3 continuing to progress on schedule. Intel 4 and 3 are our first nodes deploying EUV and will represent a major step forward in terms of transistor performance per watt and density. As for the platform, the Intel Granite Rapids-SP Xeon CPUs will rock a 12-channel DDR5 controller, several PCIe Gen 5 lanes, and CXL Gen 2 support, and are expected to target 1H of 2024 for launch and compete with AMD's Zen 5 Turin line of EPYC chips. Lastly, the rumors talk about Intel's successor to the Sapphire Rapids-WS (Workstation) lineup. The family will be based upon the Granite Rapids DNA and utilize two of the three titles for a max of 88 cores though only 86 cores are said to be available or even lower. Just like AMD's Threadripper CPU family, the Granite Rapids-WS family will feature a single I/O die. For memory, the workstation CPUs might scale back to a 6-channel DDR5 memory controller. The upcoming Sapphire Rapids-WS CPUs are expected to feature both 4-channel and 8-channel memory support but if that would allow Intel to unify its entire lineup on one platform then I guess that would be a good thing for everyone. https://wccftech.com/intel-xeon-cpu-rumors-sierra-forest-in-2024-aiming-for-334-cores-granite-rapids-sp-up-to-132-granite-rapids-ws-up-to-86-cores/
