  1. The launch of Platinum Games’ first live service title Babylon’s Fall didn’t exactly go to plan. Whether the game is one of the worst of all time, or merely mediocre, remains debatable, but the bad PR and low playercount aren’t. So, is the game already dead? Will Platinum still be putting time and effort into updates or is it already a lost cause? Thankfully for those who have seen some promise in the game, it seems Platinum isn’t giving up on Babylon’s Fall just yet. Today they promised development will continue, with at least two seasons worth of content done, and a third one in the works. Is the continuing service in danger? No, there are no plans to reduce the scale of development on Babylon's Fall. Content up to the end of Season 2 is practically complete and we have started work on Season 3 and beyond. We will continue to provide new content for the game and make improvements based on player feedback, striving to keep existing players playing and to attract newcomers. We would like to thank all sentinels already enjoying the world of Babylon's Fall as we look forward to welcoming more of you in the future! It will be interesting to see if Platinum can bring Babylon’s Fall up to snuff. If they do, it will be one of the biggest salvage jobs ever, but there are the bones of a good game somewhere underneath all the missteps and shortcomings.Platinum has also provided a few more details about what we can expect from Babylon’s Fall Season 1. We already know a NieR: Automata crossover is on the way, but players can also look forward to a new story chapter (“Resurgence”), Map (“Blockade Zone”), enemy faction, weapon type, and more. You can get more details on the 1.1.0 update here.Babylon’s Fall is available now on PC, PS4 and PS5. Season 1 kicks off on March 22.

  4. Following up on our reporting about NVIDIA slashing GPU prices yesterday, a lot of other sources have started corroborating the overarching trend of declining prices. The most interesting report comes from a tweet by HardwareUnboxed (via Videocardz) which says that prices of the RTX 3080 GPU in Australia have fallen from $2299 to $1499 AUD overnight - a decline of more than 35%. Combining this with the fact that a lot of retailers are trying to thin their inventory in case a bubble bursts and you have ripe conditions for a massive freefall in global GPU prices. Global GPU prices continue falling in March 2022, some GPUs are at their lowest-ever prices in two years The specific GPU in question is the ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 TUF Gaming OC which declined in price by 35% overnight.A fall of 35% overnight is unheard off and likely means that retailers are trying to shed the GPUs at cost. As the prices get even more brutal, we will see some retailers trying to take losses to get rid of GPU inventory as well. With the Ethereum 2.0 merge coming up in the latter half of the year, the profitability of GPU mining is basically going to be halved. This will double the ROI (return on investment) time of a GPU and reduce the mining premium on GPUs right now. We are still in a semiconductor supply crunch situation but with miners divesting their operations, the flood of second-hand GPUs should seriously depress global prices. Another tweet from 3DCenter who have been tracking GPU aggregates for a while now shows that the high end RTX 3090 is at its lowest ever price since last August as well (and slated to go down further). There is also speculation that NVIDIA will keep the RTX 30 series alive alongside RTX 40 series - which should help supply even more. The reason why this makes sense is that both series are manufactured at different foundries (Samsung vs TSMC) and by doing this, NVIDIA effectively doubles their typical wafer allocation (from a single foundry). If you are on the market for a GPU - we would seriously advise you to wait. The overarching global trend for GPU prices is on a clear downwards trajectory and it makes a lot of sense to wait at this point. It is entirely possible that prices will actually get close to the original MSRPs in a few months as mining demand fizzles away and the accumulated influx of second-hand GPUs from mines satisfies most of the GPU demand out there. Intel is also launching its Alchemist GPU lineup this year, which will further improve GPU supply.
  5. A new trailer for the upcoming open-world vampire survival game from Stunlock Studios known as V Rising has been announced. Not only that but the game has been confirmed to be entering a new Closed Beta phase which players can apply to enter now. You can watch the latest V Rising trailer announcing the game's Closed Beta below: The first test session for V Rising will run for one week, giving invited players a chance to build castles, hunt for blood, and explore the gothic world of Vardoran ahead of the game’s Early Access launch. All of this is done with the goal of becoming the next Dracula. Players will need to feed off humans in order to gain new powers and run their castles. The Closed Beta will allow for solo or co-op playthroughs as you fight against bandits, mystical creatures, and the light-wielding Church of Luminance in thrilling skillshot-based combat. If you're more of a fighting type, you can face off against other players in PvP. On PvP servers, the addition of player versus player fights will allow them to test their skills against each other, adding an extra deadly challenge to the equation. Currently, Stunlock Studios has announced that they will be able to hold up to 3000 players during this Closed Beta phase. The duration of the test (as stated above) is also going to be one of the biggest thus far for this game. The in-game beta content will include all four regions the team plans to feature with Early Access. Much of the content is still in development and will continue to improve on the road to the Early Access release.

  14. As a follow-up to their Arc graphics announcement post from yesterday, the Vice President of Intel's Visual Computing Group has confirmed that the Arc A370M discrete solution for mobility solutions will be their first Alchemist product. Intel Arc A370M Discrete Gaming Graphics For Laptops To Be The First Xe-HPG 'Alchemist' GPU For The Gaming Segment The Intel Arc A370M Discrete Graphics isn't something new. We have seen this chip leak out before and it's also been listed recently by several laptop manufacturers. It looks like Intel has confirmed that the Arc A370M is going to be one of their first Alchemist product and will be launching on the 30th of March. Intel states that they will be sharing performance numbers and that their first Arc A370M graphics which is based on the most entry-level Arc Alchemist design, will offer up to 2x the performance improvement over their integrated Iris Xe GPU with 96 EUs. Considering that the A370M will have an EU count close to 96 EUs of the integrated iGPU, a 2x performance improvement is going to be great for gamers. The added performance will come through higher clocks, slightly higher TDPs & an improved Alchemist architecture versus the older DG1 Xe-LP designs. Question #1: Why are you releasing the mobile version of Intel Arc graphics ahead of desktop? We have been hard at work preparing our Intel Arc graphics products for gamers and creators. It has been an incredible journey, and we are excited to begin launching our mobile family of Intel Arc A-series GPUs on March 30th and showcasing key technologies, like Intel® Deep Link, XeSS and more.Intel technology powers a significant share of the world’s notebooks, and we have decades of experience building leadership platforms with our partners. By beginning to launch our mobile products first, we aim to bring all our technologies (CPU, graphics, media, display, I/O, etc.) to bear to deliver great experiences. Question #2: What performance can we expect from the first product to make it to market, the Intel Arc A370M? The first Intel Arc discrete graphics products to enter the mobile market will enable up to a 2X improvement in graphics performance vs. integrated graphics alone while maintaining similar form factors. This is the first time you’ll find verified Intel Evo designs with discrete graphics able to maintain the experience standards of that program thanks to Intel Deep Link technology, like Power Share. After that, you’ll see higher performance configs of Intel Arc graphics for both notebook and desktop designs that raise performance levels for gamers and creators. More details and exact specs will be shared soon. In general, software tuning is critical to deliver maximum performance on GPUs, but it will take some time for us to mature our GPU stack for all applications. So, to accelerate performance today, we have developed application optimization techniques (such as shader tuning) that ensure top applications deliver a great experience, while our compiler matures in parallel. These optimizations are now in place for the top 50 applications, and we are rapidly expanding our coverage to the top 100. Application compatibility is also critical for our users, and while we expect nearly all applications to run, we’ve tested the top 100 applications for compatibility and performance, and we are expanding or efforts to cover the top 200 applications. For games, we will be publishing simple summaries to help end users understand the capabilities of each specific product. For example, we will publish the number of games playable at 1080p or 1440p resolution across medium or high-quality settings. We have already detailed the core architecture, specifications, and features of the Arc Alchemist lineup in our detailed roundup over here. As we know, the Intel Arc Alchemist lineup will feature two primary DG2 GPU SKUs, the big 'SOC 1' and the small 'SOC 2'. SOC 1 will feature the DG2-512 configuration and will be utilized by the Arc A700 and Arc A500 series graphics solutions while the SOC 2 config that will utilize the DG2-128 SKU, will be utilized by the Arc A300 series. Several Intel Arc A300 series GPUs have been leaked over time including the desktop Arc A380 and the mobility Arc A370M and Arc A350M. All three of these graphics solutions feature the SOC 2 'DG2-128' SKU. The Arc A300 series as such will rock up to 8 Xe-Cores, 128 Execution Units, 1024 ALUs, a 128-bit (14 Gbps) memory solution, and a 6nm process node from TSMC. The DG2-128 SOC2 is likely going to roll out first for the laptop segment with the higher-end version rolling out in the next months. Intel is also expected to further detail its Arc Alchemist graphics features at GDC 2022 with several keynotes scheduled for March 23rd and 24th. More on that here. Intel's Raja Koduri stated that he wants to get a million Arc GPUs into PCs every year & the blue team is expecting an initial shipment of over 4 million units within 2022. 15. New Elden Ring PC mods have been released, making FromSoftware’s latest title easier. Although some consider Elden Ring to be less difficult and more accessible than previous Souls installments from FromSoftware, Elden Ring is without a doubt a challenging game, brutal even at some points. The game often can get frustrating at times, but these freshly-released mods might make the game somewhat easier while playing offline. The first mod comes from modder ‘Psyken Gaming’, and provides 99 million runes at the start of the game (savegame). Please note that this save isn’t a new New Game + save file. Having 99 million runes at the start of your game takes away the endless runes grind, and might be welcome by plenty of players out there. Created by modder ‘CheezeOfAstora’, the “Recover Runes Immediately” mod basically removes the Runes Death Penalty. “As soon as you die and respawn at the Site of Grace/Stake of Marika, you'll get a prompt to recover your runes”, the modder writes. “No need to go to the exact spot of death to recover the runes.” “With this mod, you'll never lose runes due to not being able to pick it up and dying again. Basically, there will be no death penalty on runes, as it sorta works like Sacrificial Twigs.” Basically, you could argue that these mods provide some sort of easy mode for the game, although enemies and bosses will remain challenging as ever. As always with mods, be sure to follow the installation instructions for these mods before running them. Elden Ring is available globally now for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. As expected, these mods are only available on PC, and should only be used when playing offline (using them online might get you banned). Here's what our very own Francesco de Meo had to say about the game in his review. "Elden Ring is not only the best action RPG developed by From Software but one of the best open-world titles ever made. A masterclass of game design, Elden Ring isn't just a game but an epic dark fantasy journey that no one will be able to forget for a very long time."
  16. At $429, Apple’s 2022 iPhone SE is the company’s most affordable 5G-ready handset and checks a ton of boxes for thousands looking to switch from an Android device or just want something capable in general. Even though there are some noteworthy upgrades potential buyers will look forward to, there is some info that Apple did not prefer divulging during its official announcement. Here are five things we did not hear about on stage. No Charger Included in the Box The practice of removing chargers from a smartphone’s box is a practice that is slowly getting accepted. None of Apple’s iPhones ship with a charger, and the 2022 iPhone SE is no exception. For the majority of buyers, not having a power brick included will not be a deal-breaker since they can simply plug the low-cost device into their existing Lightning cable or Qi-compatible wireless charger. On the flip side, you do get a USB-C to Lightning cable, if that matters to you. Not Having the Fastest mmWave 5G, or Latest Wi-Fi 6E Adapter Currently, mmWave 5G is the best standard for unrivaled speed. Sadly, just because a product is outfitted with a 5G modem does not necessarily mean it will offer the best speeds. With the 2022 iPhone SE, Apple has cut corners as it supports the following 5G bands in the U.S. - 5G NR (Bands n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n25, n28, n29, n30, n38, n40, n41, n48, n66, n71, n77, n78, n79). There is no mention of mmWave 5G band support on Apple’s ‘Tech Specs’ page, so it is evident that the 2022 iPhone SE only supports sub-6GHz 5G. Sub-6GHz 5G is still faster than LTE, and it has a longer range than mmWave 5G, making it a more reliable standard in many areas, including rural and suburban locations. It is completely understandable why Apple chose this route for the 2022 iPhone SE to bring it to that $429 price point, and if you have not noticed, despite those cost cuts, the latest version is still $30 more expensive than the one launched in 2020. Also, there is no Wi-Fi 6E support, which is the latest wireless standard, but again, this upgrade was likely avoided to prevent unnecessary cost increases. Using a Lower-Binnned A15 Bionic SoC The A15 Bionic powers the entire iPhone 13 lineup, and for the first time, Apple introduced some variations to its latest chipset. The higher-end iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max use an A15 Bionic with a 5-core GPU, while the 2022 iPhone SE, iPhone 13, and iPhone 13 mini have the same silicon but with a 4-core CPU. The number of CPU cores remains the same across all products. As for what this means for performance, the 5-core GPU on the A15 Bionic obtained a 55 percent graphics performance increase against the A14 Bionic GPU, while the 4-core GPU was only 15 percent faster against the same part. During everyday use, though, it is unlikely that users will find any performance deficiencies with the 2022 iPhone SE’s GPU, but it is still something to point out. Bumping up the RAM Count to 4GB Apple has yet to disclose how much RAM its latest products feature, but with the 2022 iPhone SE, we feel that this change needed to be mentioned as it is a massive upgrade for a low-cost iPhone. Irrespective of which storage variant you purchase, you will always get 4GB of RAM, matching the value present in both the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, as well as the iPhone 11, which is $70 pricier than the 2022 iPhone SE. Adding more memory to the device probably had an impact on the pricing too. No Dual-eSIM Support Apple added Dual SIM support to the 2022 iPhone SE, which includes a nano-SIM and eSIM combination. Unfortunately, customers who want to carry around the handset with no physically inserted SIM cards will be out of luck as there is no dual-eSIM support. Apple has probably intended its latest smartphone offering to be sold in various markets, particularly developing regions, where the iPhone SE’s price-to-performance ratio will be an attractive prospect for many buyers. These countries have yet to widely adopt the eSIM standard, as premium iPhones sold there also allow users to insert physical SIM cards. In any case, even with no dual-eSIM support on the 2022 iPhone SE, it is still a well-rounded package for those who do not want to pay top dollar for a premium product. Such hidden details are avoided during the official presentation as it can discourage the ‘potential wow’ factor when showcasing a product with top-notch hardware that is available at such a competitive price. Most information not provided on stage is unlikely to divert a customer’s attention to a different product, but that will be up to them.If you think there were other details Apple left out during its ‘Peek Performance’ announcement of the 2022 iPhone SE, be sure to let us know in the comments
  17. It looks like the graphics card maker, XFX, has come under serious trouble with Chinese customs authorities for tax evasion, reports MyDrivers. XFX China In Trouble As Customs Authority Seize Over 5000 Graphics Cards Worth Over 3 Million USD For Being Mislabeled The report states that graphics card maker, XFX, who has its main HQ in the US but also operates through a sub-division based in various regions, including China, has come under serious trouble with the customs authority of China. It is said that the graphics card maker illegally mislabeled the specifications and names of their graphics cards, a tactic that can be used to evade taxes & lower the cost of their products that can than be sold to customers for increased profits. The Chinese outlet reports that customs were able to seize 5840 graphics cards, all of which had mislabeled specifications. Their total value rounds up to around 20 million RMB or 3.15 Million in USD. Since they were not the correct models, the entire supply of graphics cards was seized & sent for further inspection in accordance with the law. While there was no confirmation if XFX China was directly involved in this but a shipment this large must have some involvement from the graphics card maker. As a matter of fact, the Chinese portal of XFX has already been taken down for several days along with its official store over at the po[CENSORED]r T-Mall retail outlet. Furthermore, it is reported that tactics like these aren't new within the Asian Pacific market. A total of 150,000 new and used graphics cards have been imported within the region using very similar methods. XFX has also been at the forefront of selling its standard graphics cards directly to crypto miners for increased profits instead of shipping them to retailers and distributors where they were needed the most.
  18. Babylon's Fall is a name that seems to be on everyone's mouths these days, but not for the right reasons. The first GaaS developed by Platinum Games is widely considered to be a horrible game, with a 40 Metascore for the PlayStation 5 version, which makes it the lowest scoring PlayStation 5 console exclusive to date, and a Weak OpenCritic Rating, with a 42 Top Critic Average score and a measly 6% Critics Recommend value. The YouTube Community sounds even harsher. A simple search for Babylon's Fall on the website shows videos that say that the game is "depressingly bad" "utterly disappointing" and Platinum Games' worst game to date. With the game having received so many 2s and 3s, someone who has never seen the game in action would think Babylon's Fall is an unplayable mess that simply does not work. Given how many, due to the lack of time, only look at the final score and closing comments of a review, I feel these extremely low scores are not really representative of the game's actual quality. It is a mediocre game, no doubt about it, but not the complete disaster the low scores suggest. The biggest issue with Babylon's Fall, not counting the outdated visuals, is the pricing and the monetization scheme. The game launched as a full-priced AAA release on Steam, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, featuring a free and premium Battle Pass and multiple currencies that do impact the in-game economy quite a bit. I completely agree that this stuff shouldn't have been included in a paid game under any circumstance, but how impactful it truly is in the experience as a whole? Not a lot, and not in ways that many expect. One other major issue with Babylon's Fall is how the game simply doesn't feel fun to play from the start, which is something I highlighted in my hands-on with the game's very first beta. Sure, the game comes with all those mechanics that we PlatinumGames fans love, like multiple weapons, perfect dodges, and so on, but the way they are implemented makes everything feel a little sluggish. Still, I felt like the game could be a fun diversion for an hour or so at the time, so I decided to push on in the final version of the game, but with one important caveat: I would not redeem any Battle Pass reward. Only recently, after 20 hours or so in the game, I learned how to redeem these rewards, if only to see what is actually being offered with the two Battle Passes. Which is mostly cosmetics, emotes, and stuff that can be easily ignored. After making my decision, I started climbing the Tower of Babylon, mostly solo but sometimes with the help of other players, and I had little to no trouble making it to the end of the story campaign. It wasn't always fun, especially at the beginning, but I encountered no crashes, no game-breaking glitches, and no performance issue (it would have been very strange for the game not to run well on an RTX 3070, given the dated visuals, but stranger things have happened). This is the first reason why I think the 2 and 3 scores are a little harsh, as I believe these scores should be reserved for games that do not work well due to major technical issues. Babylon's Fall, as incredible as it may sound, does not. I also had no need to purchase or forge items and engage with the in-game economy that is messed up by the monetization schemes. The game provided me with enough gear to comfortably take on the many bosses in the main campaign, even solo. Where the monetization, Battle Passes, and GaaS features have impacted the game the most, in my opinion, is where it mattered the most in a PlatinumGames action title: combat mechanics. At the end of the main campaign, it becomes possible to change each weapon's attack mode to Power and Technical Mode, with the latter essentially making the game feel more in line with other, better games by PlatinumGames. Additional mechanics unlocked during the campaign itself, such as elemental attacks and properties and the Gideon Coffin mechanics, also make combat considerably more fun than at the start of the campaign. Later quests also feature a much better design, with different traps, light platforming, and more varied combat scenarios. Also, the endgame, although not much different in terms of game flow from the main campaign, is considerably more fun than the base campaign, and it is much easier to find players for stuff like Sieges and so on, better executing the multiplayer action game premise of the experience. The problem is that it is clear that all these features and mechanics have been held back on purpose only to retain players and potentially make them buy future Battle Passes and premium currency. If the best-designed quests and advanced game mechanics would have been made available earlier, would the game have been received slightly better? I definitely think so. The game wouldn't have scored 7s or 8s all around, no question about it, but more reasonable 5s and 6s.
  19. Apple launched its third generation of iPhone SE lineup a few days ago and the device features the same old design. However, the design of the device is not as impressive as the internals powering it. The iPhone SE 3 comes with Apple's latest and greatest A15 Bionic chipset which is also found in the iPhone 13 series. What this means is that the budget iPhone will offer the same level of great performance as the iPhone 13 Pro Max. However, it may come as a surprise but the iPhone SE 3 beats Samsung's mighty Galaxy S22 Ultra in benchmarks. Scroll down to read more details on the subject. Benchmarks Comparison Shows iPhone SE 3 Beating The Galaxy S22 Ultra in Single and Multi-Core Scores The model identifier number for the new iPhone SE 3 is "iPhone 14,6," and Geekbench scores for the device are now out. iPhone SE 3 benchmark reveals a single-core score of 1695 and a multi-core score of 4021. These scores are pretty much on par with the iPhone 13 at 1672 and 4481 for single and multi-core scores, respectively. It is surprising to see that Apple added its flagship A-series chip to its budget iPhone. What is even more surprising is the fact that Apple's budget iPhone SE 3 beats the Galaxy S22 Ultra in benchmarks comparison. The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a single-core score of 1232 and a multi-core score of 3433. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and it is the fastest chip for Android devices in the market right now. While the two platforms offer their own set of qualities, it is still shocking to see that the cheapest iPhone that Apple is selling outperforms the flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra from Samsung. Apple has increased the price of its iPhone SE 3 lineup by $30 and it comes in at $429. However, the design of the device plays a major role for users and we only wish Apple adopted a design similar to the iPhone XR. Apple might probably use the iPhone XR design in its future iterations of the iPhone SE lineup. While the iPhone SE 3 scores better in benchmarks, it is vital to know that the real-world performance might vary. We will wait for the proper performance comparisons as soon as the device is available to the public. Other than this, Apple has also enhanced the battery life of the iPhone SE 3. While the battery size has been increased, the A15 Bionic chip is also less power-hungry compared to older models and it would aid in making the device last almost an entire day. If you want to see more details on the iPhone SE 3 battery life, you can check out the comparison with older and newer iPhone models. Apple is running in the right direction as far as its custom silicon is concerned. The A15 Bionic chip offers far superior performance compared to any mobile chip in the market. Moreover, with its efforts in the M-series chips, Apple is gradually moving away from Intel. The Mac Pro might be the last product Apple updates before its transition is complete. 20. The latest NVIDIA Ada Lovelace powered GeForce RTX 40 series GPU details have come straight out of the rumor mill from reputable leakers, Kopite7kimi & Greymon55. The new details provide us an insight into what the TGPs could be for the enthusiast lineup and it looks like we are looking at very toasty chips. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 'Ada Lovelace' GPU Up To 600W TGP, Ti Over 800W, Could Feature 4-Slot Coolers, Rumor Alleges We have already seen the first specifications of the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace GPU lineup that will be powering the GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards leak out earlier. Now the latest rumor for the chips states that the AD102 and AD103 GPUs are going to be power-hungry monsters and unlike anything, we have seen before. This isn't the first time we have talked about Ada Lovelace being incredibly power-thirsty but Kopite7kimi, who has been super accurate with his leaks before, has got a confirmation that the RTX 4090 class GPU will end up with a TGP of 600W. Based on the new rumors, the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace AD102 GPU will have at least three graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti, RTX 4090, and the RTX 4080. This matches the SKU information reported by Moore's Law is Dead a few days ago. The RTX 4080 which is expected to be the most cut-down card featuring the AD102 GPU is going to feature a TGP of 450W, the RTX 4090 is going with a 600W TGP and the RTX 4090 Ti is going to feature a TGP beyond 800W.Several PSU makers have already started releasing their brand new Gen 5 power supplies which would include the necessary connectors to support the next-gen GPUs but they only feature one primary Gen 5 connector which means that if NVIDIA was to use a second 16-pin port, users will have to use a 2x 8-pin to 1x 16-pin adapter which will ship with most of these PSUs. And this is why NVIDIA is so heavily invested in the new PCIe Gen 5 16-pin connector solution. A single 16-pin connector will drive up to 600 Watts into the graphics card (and an additional 75W from the PCIe connector) and that means that anything up to an RTX 4090 would easily be powered by a single connector. But the RTX 4090 Ti is just a whole different beast and would end up with dual 16-pin connectors if this rumor is true. An Ada Lovelace AD102 GPU is also going to be a huge task, not only for NVIDIA's but also their AIBs engineers, to cool. Currently, there are a few cooling solutions that can offer over 400 Watts of cooling performance. All AIB partners released triple-slot graphics cards this generation and with the RTX 3090 Ti soon coming out with its 450W TGP, this would give engineers a nice learning curve prior to the launch of Ada Lovelace GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards. There are reports that while GA102 made triple-slot cooling solutions the norm, AD102 would make 4-slot cooling solutions the next normal thing on high-end graphics cards. One thing is for sure that we are going to get some really exotic cooling solutions and it is likely that most AIBs will just go the AIO hybrid/liquid-cooled route on the top variants. The NVIDIA Ada Lovelace GPU family is expected to bring a generational jump similar to Maxwell to Pascal. It is expected to launch in the second half of 2022 but expects supply and pricing to be similar to current cards despite NVIDIA spending billions of dollars to acquire those good good TSMC 5nm wafers. 21. Po[CENSORED]r Battle Royale game NARAKA: BLADEPOINT has been updated with a brand new 'zombie' mode called Omni's Nightmare. Here, players will have to focus on teamwork and communication with their faction members via chat. In Omni’s Nightmare, players will be randomly assigned to one of three factions: Evil-Ent Evil-Ent, Evil-Ent LordEvil-Ent and the Heroes. If you’re assigned the role of The Hero, you win when all three of the Soul Sparks are lit. If you find yourselves in the body of the undead with The Evil-EntEvil-Ent’s or The Evil-EntEvil-Ent Lord, your way to victory will consist of defeating all The Heroes or if The Heroes fail to light the Soul Sparks in the allotted time. While playing as the Hero (Human) for the first part of the match, you will only be equipped with ranged weapons and no ultimate move. You’ll need to fight your way through the onslaught to collect resources and submit them to 1 of 3 basements scattered around the map. Be wary of the Evel-EntEvil-Ent (Zombie) players though, they move incredibly fast, have the ability to leap to high places and also throw axes, which deal notable damage. Once you reach particular requirements, the game will move into Phase 2, in which a portal will appear and much stronger weapons are at your disposal. As a remaining human, you’ll need to fight your way through the portal realm, slaying your zombie enemies along the way with your reinforced weapons and your ultimate move (which also becomes available in Phase 2). The map in this game mode consists of the EmberEmbers and the Shadow Corruption. Each of the EmbersEmber contains a Soul Spark, whereas the Shadow Corruption contains several Soul Lantern. Straying too far into the Shadow Corruption will cause damage to your health as a Hero, whereas remaining in the EmbersEmber — or in close proximity to a Soul Lantern — will replenish your health. Heroes must collect Rattans that can only be found in the Shadow Corruption and transport them to Soul Spark in the EmberEmber. As a Evil-Ent or Evil-Ent Lord, you’ll lose health over time while in the Ember, while you will be unaffected by the Shadow Corruption. Developed by Chinese studio 24 Entertainment, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT already sold over six million copies, becoming one of Steam's best-selling games in 2021. The game got a 7/10 score here on Wccftech. With excellent combat and traversal mechanics and a unique atmosphere, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT stands out from the battle royale crowd. Cluttered interface, controls that require some tweaking, the bad implementation of microtransactions, and general lack of content, however, damage the experience a bit, preventing it from becoming a must-buy for fans of the genre. The foundation is still extremely solid, so with proper support, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT definitely has the chance to rival all of the most po[CENSORED]r battle royale games on the market.
