  1. The Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) revealed the findings of sachet coffee containing paracetamol and sildenafil. The findings were known after BPOM carried out crackdown operations on illegal traditional medicine and food products containing medicinal chemicals (BKO). As a result, sachets of coffee containing paracetamol and sildenafil circulating in the cities of Bandung and Bogor were found. The copy of the sachet found even included a BPOM permit. However, the Head of BPOM Penny K. Lukito has confirmed that this is a fake. It should be noted that the paracetamol found by BPOM in these sachets of coffee is an analgesic-antipyretic drug to relieve mild pain and fever. This drug can indeed be purchased by the public without using a prescription because it is included in the group of over-the-counter drugs. "Basically, this drug is only used to reduce symptoms of mild pain and fever such as headaches, flu, and toothache in children," said pharmacologist at Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta, Heru Sasongko, M.Sc.,Apt to Kompas. com, Saturday (5/3/2022). While sildenafil is the generic name or active substance, and this drug is clinically used to treat impotence or erectile dysfunction in men. Heru Sasongko explained, sildenafil can also be used in patients with pulmonary hypertension or increased pulmonary artery pressure. "This medicine includes Long term dangers of paracetamol and sildenafil Heru Sasongko explained a number of dangers to health if people are "hooked" to consume coffee sachets containing paracetamol and sildenafil. He explained that paracetamol taken long-term or in large doses can have fatal consequences. "For example, liver disorders, severe headaches, nausea and vomiting, and others," added Heru Sasongko. "Under certain conditions paracetamol can interact with other drugs, such as concurrent use with warfarin (causing bleeding), izoniazid (increasing the risk of liver damage) and other effects," he added. "Therefore, if paracetamol is mixed with traditional medicines or food products, the risk is very dangerous." On the other hand, he added that the content of sildenafil or more familiarly known to the public as Viagra also has dangers if consumed in the long term. Heru Sasongko said that illegally sildenafil is also often mixed in traditional medicines and food products. "The motivation for mixing BKO in food products and traditional medicines is generally to want to give an effect that is fast or has a fast onset so that consumers have more confidence," he explained. However, he added that the side effect of using food products and traditional medicines containing BKO is the occurrence of health problems. Among them, arrhythmias or irregular heartbeat rhythm, chest pain, headaches, erections that last too long and cause pain, seizures, and even fainting. Benefits of paracetamol with caffeine Many people then worry about the paracetamol content in sachet coffee as found by BPOM. However, Heru Sasongko said this content when mixed with coffee can provide health benefits. Even so, the use of paracetamol must be based on the right dose in order to provide a beneficial effect when combined with caffeine. "There are already chemical drug products that combine paracetamol with caffeine which are used to treat mild headaches," he said. "However, the dose must be appropriate, while coffee contains very varied caffeine can be small or even higher so the potential for side effects is very high as well." So that people are more observant in choosing medicinal products and packaged food, he advises consumers to be more vigilant. He asked consumers not to be tempted by bombastic advertisements for medicinal and food products that promise health benefits. So that consumers do not become victims, they can check the authenticity of the distribution permit of a drug or food product through the BPOM website. "Check the label on the packaging, the name of the manufacturer, the expiration date to see if it looks suspicious," said Heru Sasongko. "BPOM RI has carried out its duties and responsibilities as an official institution that has the function of supervising the circulation of drugs and food throughout Indonesia very well," he concluded. https://lifestyle.kompas.com/read/2022/03/05/112141420/kopi-saset-mengandung-parasetamol-dan-sildenafil-apa-bahayanya
  2. Apple is scheduled to host its highly anticipated Spring event on March 8. The company sent out invites for its 'Peek Performance' event earlier this week and we are expecting a wide range of products. One of the most hyped-up products to launch at the event is the iPhone SE 3. Unfortunately, past rumors suggest that the device will keep the existing design and only come with a faster chipset and 5G connectivity. Now, a reliable analyst has shared what we can expect from the iPhone SE 3. Analyst Shares "Predictions" For iPhone SE 3 - Check Out What You Should Expect Ming-Chi Kuo has shared his "predictions" or what he expects from the iPhone SE 3. He corroborated past rumors, suggesting that the iPhone SE 3 will feature the same design as the current iPhone SE 2. However, the device will be upgraded with the latest A15 Bionic chip that comes with the iPhone 13 series. This will allow the device to feature 5G connectivity.Other than this, Ming-Chi Kuo also believes that the iPhone SE 3 will feature a new 256GB storage variant. This also means that the iPhone SE 3's 5G capabilities will feature mmWave and Sub-6GHz 5G connectivity. While the design will be the same, Kuo also predicts that Apple will offer the same While, Black, and Red color option. If Apple is looking to adopt the same design, it could offer new Spring colors that the audience would see differently. Take note that Kuo does not mention if the camera will improve on the iPhone SE 3. He mentions that mass production of the device will begin this month and Apple is expecting to sell 25 to 30 million units this year. The iPhone SE 3 will carry the same design as the iPhone 6 that launched way back in September of 2014. This is all there is to it, folks. 3. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D might not be the only new Zen 3 part launching this month as our sources have told us about three upcoming Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 CPUs that will be positioned against the Intel Alder Lake mainstream lineup. AMD Readying Ryzen 7 5700X, Ryzen 5 5600, Ryzen 5 5500 CPUs To Tackle Intel's Mainstream Alder Lake Chips Before Zen 4 Ships A few days ago, we were told by our sources that AMD was working on Zen 3 SKUs aside from the confirmed Ryzen 7 5800X3D part. The new CPUs are AMD's response to Intel's recent Alder Lake's which are decimating the red team's DIY market share which it took several years to build up. With the upcoming parts, AMD is hoping to hold off some users from moving to team blue before they can ship their true response to Intel's advance in the desktop segment, the Ryzen 7000 CPU family based on Zen 4 architecture.Besides our sources, it looks like Chiphell forums have already leaked these SKUs but I can confirm that they are very real and indeed coming to the DIY/OEM segment soon. So from what we have heard, AMD plans to launch three new SKUs, the first one is the Ryzen 7 5700X. This CPU will be positioned against the Core i5-12600K and will feature similar pricing at around $279-$299 US. The chip is expected to feature 8 cores, 16 threads but a TDP of 65W vs the 105W TDP of the Ryzen 7 5800X. The CPU will also come with the Wraith Stealth cooler and is said to offer slightly better clock optimizations than the 5800X. If the price is close to the $299 US which also happens to be the MSRP of the existing 5600X, this would mean a permanent price drop for the 6 core variant which has already been discounted across various retail outlets along with its brethren. The other two SKUs that are released in the AMD Ryzen 5000 CPU family are the Ryzen 5 5600 & Ryzen 5 5500. Both of these are 6 core chips with a 65W TDP. The Non-X design means that they aren't going to get the higher-binned design like the 5600X but will be offering very similar core performance. These chips will be positioned against the Core i5-12400 and Core i3-12100 SKUs with similar price points. One thing which we weren't able to confirm is whether Ryzen 5 5500 comes with SMT support or not. It is likely that this chip could be limited to 6 cores & 6 threads. AMD is expected to launch its newest additions in the Ryzen 5000 Desktop CPU family later this month. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D is also expected to hit shelves in a few weeks so stay tuned for more information. 6. Yesterday, Twitter user @momomo_us revealed pictures and content that delved further into the PCIe Gen 5.0 connector standard. PCI Express Gen 5 has continually shown a considerable debate with varying manufacturers on how the technology is explained simpler for consumers but eventually becomes confusing. With the recently leaked photos showcasing the ATX PCI Express connectivity utilizing Gen 5 connectors, we are getting more insight into the upcoming technology. ATX design guide leaks online offering a closer look at the PCIe Gen 5 connector architecture First, the pictures show the various labeling for varying power levels for the PCIe 12VHPWR Auxiliary Power Connector Pin Assignment (also known as PCIe 5.0). The top photo shows four identical cables, except for the labeling, which ranges between 150W, 300W, 450W, and 600W.From our previous coverage of MSI's, ASUS's, Cooler Master's, and Gigabyte's PCIe 5.0 advertising confusion for the new connectors, we know that the highest power consumption value delivered from PCIe Gen 5 is 600W. This picture verifies the values more clearly. A diagram showing the PCIe Gen 5 12-pin connection with the 4-pin data connection below is underneath the photo. Readers will remember that the 12 pins are the area on the cable that delivers power. The additional four pins provide data information to the devices for utilization in displays, memory, and much more. We see a complete breakdown of the PCIe Gen 5 12VHPWR connector following the first diagram. The pin contact material is a copper alloy, and the plating is tin on the contact area. The housing material uses thermoplastic glass fibers (UL94V-0). Finally, we see the last leaked photo from the ATX 3.0 design guide that explains the auxiliary power connector's use in the system. The 12VHPWR Auxiliary Power connector is designed to deliver up to 600 watts directly to a PCIe* Add-in Cards. This power connector is not compatible with the existing 2x3 or 2x4 auxiliary power connectors. The 12VHPWR connector power pins have a 3.0 mm spacing while the contacts in a 2x3 and 2x1 connector are on a larger 4.2 mm pitch. The 12VHPWR auxiliary power connector includes twelve large contacts to carry the power and four smaller contacts beneath carrying the sideband signals. The connector performance requirements are as follows: Power Pin Current Rating: (Excluding sideband contacts) 9.2 A per pin/position with a limit of a 30 °C T-Rise above ambient temperature conditions at =12 VDC with all twelve contacts energized. The connector body must display a label or embossed H+ character to indicate support of 9.2 A/pin or greater. Refer for the approximate positioning of the marker on the 12VHPWR Right Angle (R/A) PCB Header It is now more apparent that the system is capped at 600W and not higher due to excessive heat from the throughput of consumption. Also, manufacturers utilizing the data provided should refer to the cable as a "12VHPWR connection" or "PCIe Gen 5 connection" without confusing both the company and consumers alike.
  7. In late February, Bethesda Game Studios announced the overall Fallout 76 roadmap for 2022. Today, though, we've got a much more detailed overview of Season 8, live now on all platforms. The main draw of this Fallout 76 event is the so-called Alien invasion of Appalachia, which will take place over the next couple of weeks. Every hour on the hour until March 15, an Alien Mothership will materialize above one of six Appalachian landmarks to deploy three Brainwave Siphons in the area. Travel to the Mothership’s location and examine Siphon Kappa to start the event. When the event begins, work to destroy all three Brainwave Siphons, one after the other, before the aliens can complete their Brainwave Extraction process. There’s just one problem: Each Siphon is protected by a force field, which is controlled by a different Alien Commander. Defeat alien forces to draw out the Commander for each Siphon. Take out the Commander and the force field will drop, allowing you and your event mates to destroy the Siphon. If you manage to demolish all three Brainwave Siphons in time, you will receive some loot, XP, and have a chance to earn plans to craft new alien weaponry, like the Alien Disintegrator and Electro Enforcer, as well as high-tech new C.A.M.P. objects. Keep your guard up, because as long as the Seasonal Event is live, you may encounter extraterrestrial interlopers at select Public Events, including Campfire Tales, Free Range, and Line in the Sand. You may also spot our curious visitors in new Random Encounters that we’re adding with this update. There are also many global improvements to Fallout 76, such as the ability to hide backpacks, a buildable Pirate Radio for your C.A.M.P., and reduced weight for Stimpaks. Additionally, Fallout 76 will now get the chance to continue earning S.C.O.R.E. points from non-repeatable Daily and Weekly Challenges while playing in Public and Custom Worlds. The latter will also see many new tweakable settings, such as adjusting the character's carry weight, the availability of VATS, and Perk effects.
