The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is finally in players' hands as of today, marking the culmination of a lengthy six-year development cycle, but it seems the game’s director Hidemaro Fujibayashi may already be cooking up ideas for Link’s next adventure. The New York Times posted a new interview with Fujibayashi and Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma, and in a separate tweet, author Zachary Small says “Fujibayashi already has plans for the next Zelda game,” although he hasn’t let Aonuma in on those plans just yet. The NYT article includes some interesting tidbits, with Fujibayashi essentially admitting that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is partly an attempt to improve upon and redeem ideas from another game he directed, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Specifically, TotK makes a fully seamless world, where players can travel between the sky, surface, and underground, a reality. Tears of the Kingdom also marks the return of Ganondorf as a villain after Breath of the Wild featured the more inhuman Calamity Ganon. That said, while Link once again has a villain who can actually speak, he doesn’t have that much to say this time around. Thankfully, according to Aonuma, Ganondorf could get more character development in future games… “It’s very possible from here on out that we will be able to see further character development and changes to his personality as the series continues. Rabat - Israeli strikes have killed 13 Palestinians in Gaza despite uproar and backlash, urging Israel government to abort acts that could trigger more escalation in the Israeli-Palestine conflict. Palestine’s authority condemned the attacks carried out from the night of Monday to Tuesday, describing the situation as a “dangerous Israeli escalation.” The list of victims includes four women and four children. “We condemn this dangerous escalation against our people, which targeted children, women and homes in the Gaza strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, the latest of which was the killing of 13 civilians, including women and children, in the Gaza strip, ad the injury of 13 people from bullets in Nablus,” presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said. F1 23 is right around the corner, and today Codemasters and Electronic Arts revealed the official PC system requirements, which are among the most undemanding we have seen this year. Both the minimum and recommended system requirements, which were shared on the game's Steam Store page, aren't just undemanding but are almost identical to those of the previous entry in the series, suggesting that the upcoming racing game is not going to push the bar forward by a lot when it comes to visuals. By submitting oneself and worshiping Allah (God), a Muslim attains peace through obedience to his commandments. Peace is a natural result of submitting to the will of Allah. For a person to become a Muslim and accept Islam as their faith, they must say and believe in the following phrase: This sentence literally means “There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His messenger.” The sentence also means “There is none worthy of worship except Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger.” The moment a person says this phrase and begins to act upon it they become a Muslim. The Holy Quran A core belief taught in Islam is that human beings are unique from among God’s creation. We have the ability to think freely and choose to behave in any way we wish. Rabat - A Tunisian naval guard killed his colleague using his personal weapon, then opened fire randomly, killing two other people, including a French and a Tunisian national, near a synagogue on the Tunisian island of Djerba on Tuesday, May 9. Tunisia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement highlighting that the two victims among the visitors are a 30-year-old Tunisian and a 42-year-old French national. The incident resulted in the injuries of six security agents, one of whom died, as well as the deaths of two visitors and the injuries of four other people, who were taken to the hospital for treatment. According to the Times of Israel, the victims among the worshipers were identified as “Aviel Hadad, a 30-year-old dual citizen of Tunisia and Israel living in Netivot, Israel, and his 42-year-old cousin, Benjamin Haddad, a French-Jewish businessman living in France.” The Tunisian Interior Ministry explained that the attacker is a guard at the National Guard naval center in the port town of Aghir on Djerba. The assailant killed his colleague with his personal weapon and took his ammunition, the ministry explained. The attacker then attempted to enter El Ghriba Synagogue and opened fire on the security units stationed there, who returned fire, preventing him from entering the synagogue and killing him. The ministry said that an investigation is ongoing to determine the reasons for the attack. France condemned the attack, stressing the need to fight against antisemitism. “We were shocked by the attack on the Ghriba Synagogue. Rabat - King Mohammed VI has issued instructions to increase the current budget allocated to the National Program for Drinking Water Supply and Irrigation 2020-2027 to MAD 143 billion ($14.3 billion). King Mohammed VI issued the instructions during a meeting on Tuesday in the Royal Palace in Rabat. The meeting was dedicated to overseeing the progress made in the implementation of the National Program for Drinking Water Supply and Irrigation. During the meeting, the Minister of Equipment and Water Nizar Baraka delivered a presentation to the monarch detailing the water situation and the progress made on the program’s various components. Through the national program, the government is working to interconnect the Sebou, Bouregreg, and Oum Er-Rbia water basins, constructing new dams and updating the costs of about twenty dams that are planned to increase the storage capacity to 6.6 billion cubic meters of freshwater. Under the program, the government will also accelerate the transition to non-conventional water sources such as desalinated seawater, and increase the share of treated wastewater reuse capacities. The program equally covers plans to boost the supply of drinking water to rural areas in Morocco. Water security in Morocco Morocco's efforts to tackle water scarcity have been central to its development strategy in recent years. To this end, the country has launched a 30-year plan worth MAD 383 billion ($37.6 billion) that aims to enhance the national water grids for domestic and agricultural use, as well as safeguard water supply from climate change. Water scarcity is a significant challenge for Morocco's economic and social development goals, as its water resources are strained by a growing population and expanding agricultural activities. Agriculture alone consumes nearly 88% of the country's water supply, according to data from the World Bank. Morocco has one of the lowest water resources per capita in the world, averaging 645 cubic meters per year in 2015, well below the global water poverty line of 1,000 cubic meters per capita. Reports by the World Bank warn that Morocco's water resources per capita could decline to 500 cubic meters by 2050, approaching the international threshold of extreme water scarcity. In response, the country has launched several initiatives to mitigate the impact of climate change on its water resources, including the construction of 20 dams with a total storage capacity of 5.38 billion cubic meters and the planned construction of 1,000 small dams by 2030. Rabat - Morocco’s Foreign Affairs Minister Nasser Bourita has called on the international community to intensify efforts to support peace and stability in Sudan, and avoid any security disruptions in the regions. Speaking at the session dedicated to Sudan at the Sunday meeting of Arab League foreign ministers, the diplomat expressed Morocco’s regret and concern over what the security situation in the country has become. He added that Morocco is expressing “unconditional solidarity” with Sudan and will continue to provide all necessary aid and support to help the country overcome the current crisis. Morocco also supports the initiatives and steps that the Arab League and other states are taking to help the situation, including the sending of humanitarian aid and mediation efforts to build an environment conducive to a constructive dialogue, the minister added. Bourita also emphasized that the solution to the crisis should come from Sudan and away from any external pressures and interference, in order to produce a lasting peaceful agreement. Fighting broke out last month in Sudan between the country’s army and the paramilitary group Rapid Defense Forces (RSF). The fighting has derailed internationally supported plans to bring civilian rule to the country after years of unrest and military uprisings. A previously agreed-upon ceasefire during Eid Al-Fitr was broken, as the battles have proceeded to take hundreds of lives and leave thousands wounded since then. Reports indicate that over 100,000 refugees have been forced to leave the country as well due to the clashes. Although several parties are attempting to mediate a deal between the army and RSF, both parties have made it clear that they would not negotiate an end to the war, but only a humanitarian truce.
