The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inamhi) issued a meteorological alert for rain and storms that will be in effect until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024. High intensity rains are expected to continue with scattered storms, especially in the north and interior of the Coast, south of the Sierra and Amazonia. The largest magnitude events may occur between the night of January 12 and 14, 2024. Water pooling is likely to occur in susceptible homes, businesses and roads. Road conditions could be affected by standing water, landslides and fog banks. Noticias1 point

V1 Text and image clear I really must say that they are all amazing works. BUT There are things that must always be organized. Everyone's brushes are good. the effects are beautiful. although most of the images are not clear. That's why my vote is for v1 clear text, it is the only text that differs. and the image does not lose its clarity. The others are good but they have effects and brushes that do not allow the image to be seen clearly.1 point

It's a new year, and the devs at CD Projekt Red are turning their eyes away from Cyberpunk 2077 to focus on its upcoming sequel from the studio's new Boston office. In a tweet, Cyberpunk narrative director Igor Sarzyński said that the team is ready to "officially kickstart our Orion [the codename for Cyberpunk's sequel] journey" in the wake of Cyberpunk the first's very successful Phantom Liberty expansion and 2.0 update. And gosh, they sound confident. In the same tweet, Sarzyński declares that—after all its trials and travails—"2077 was just a warm-up" for whatever CDPR has in mind for its next Cyberpunk. That's both an eminently understandable thing for someone excited about their next project to say and a profoundly wince-inducing thing to say about Cyberpunk 2077 in particular. First day in the Boston office! So good to meet old friends and officially kickstart our Orion journey. I couldn't be more excited for this project and i'm sure we can make it something special. 2077 was just a warm-up 🔥January 8, 2024 After all, to quote some of my colleagues at PCG, if Cyberpunk 2077 can be described as a "warm-up," it's the kind where you accidentally obliterate your own shinbone and have to spend three years in recovery. The game may be riding high on its 2023 redemption arc—and hey, I played it myself for the first time after 2.0 hit and loved every minute—but we can't really pretend the game's launch-out-of-nightmares and crunch didn't happen, or that it didn't subsequently require massive labour to fix. News RPG Cyberpunk 2077 CD Projekt narrative director declares Cyberpunk 2077 'just a warm-up' as work kicks off on the sequel By Joshua Wolens published 3 days ago The kind of warm-up that produces a devastating injury, but a warm-up nonetheless. COMMENTS V eating popcorn (Image credit: CD Projekt) It's a new year, and the devs at CD Projekt Red are turning their eyes away from Cyberpunk 2077 to focus on its upcoming sequel from the studio's new Boston office. I couldn't be more excited for this project and i'm sure we can make it something special. 2077 was just a warm-up 🔥January 8, 2024 See more After all, to quote some of my colleagues at PCG, if Cyberpunk 2077 can be described as a "warm-up," it's the kind where you accidentally obliterate your own shinbone and have to spend three years in recovery. The game may be riding high on its 2023 redemption arc—and hey, I played it myself for the first time after 2.0 hit and loved every minute—but we can't really pretend the game's launch-out-of-nightmares and crunch didn't happen, or that it didn't subsequently require massive labour to fix. Nevertheless, I'm an optimistic sort, and I'm hoping that CDPR learnt the right lessons from Cyberpunk 2077, warm-up or not. My own excellent experience with the game in its current state has left me predisposed to be very excited about Orion, whatever it turns out to be, and I can't help but be intrigued by the news that the devs are now properly heads-down on the work at hand as we enter the new year. I just want to hang out some more with my best friend for life Johnny Silverhand, to be perfectly honest with you. We will, of course, learn more about the various Cyberpunk and Witcher-related irons CDPR has in the fire as time goes on, and let's hope the teams working on them are given all the time they need to finish them this time round, especially after the layoffs CDPR endured last year. And if the company is going to put anything out early, at least have the forethought to take a leaf from my colleague Ted Litchfield's book and call it early access from the start. It doesn't matter how warmed up you are, it's better to walk before you run. SOURCE1 point

Bungie has in recent years been very aggressive in its pursuit of Destiny 2 cheat makers, and not at all shy about saying so. Based on the opening line of its most recent legal action (via Torrentfreak), filed against the makers and sellers of the Ring-1 cheat, it has no intention of stopping anytime soon. The action actually began in May 2021, when Bungie joined up with Ubisoft to file a joint lawsuit against Ring-1. The two companies reached a settlement with three of the four named defendants in the case in late 2022, but the fourth failed to respond to the suit, and so Bungie and Ubisoft requested a default judgment of $2.2 million. The judge in the case rejected that request, however, ruling that the fourth defendant was "not an original developer of the software or an original participant in the Ring-1 enterprise," but instead appeared to be "akin to a customer service representative." That decision meant the defendant wouldn't have to pay anything. Worse, the Ring-1 website remained online. Sponsored Links If You Need To Relax On Your Computer, You Have To Play This Game. No Install Elvenar The new lawsuit, filed on August 1, names 10 other defendants (most of them by alias) along with 40 "John Does," and it begins with a bang: "The days of Destiny 2 cheaters being free to engage in a wholesale assault on the Destiny 2 game and its community without fear of consequences are over." RECOMMENDED VIDEOS FOR YOU... CLOSE This suit leans heavily into Bungie's previous prior wins over cheat makers, noting that they specifically targeted "the corporate entities and individuals who profit from making, selling, supporting, and otherwise proliferating malicious cheat software." The rulings in those lawsuits "have repeatedly confirmed that the sale and use of cheat software violates a raft of federal and state laws, breaches users’ contracts with Bungie (the Limited Software License Agreement, or 'LSLA,' that governs access to Destiny 2), and is a basis for significant tort liability." Those wins have been widely reported, Bungie said, which means that the Ring-1 defendants are well aware by now that their actions are illegal, and have had more than sufficient time to knock it off voluntarily. And yet they have continued to make and sell their cheat software, "secure in the belief that they can avoid consequences for it." The suit goes on to define the various parties involved, Bungie's efforts to deter cheaters, and Ring-1's persistence in circumventing that work, including copyright infringement, civil RICO [Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations] violations—wire fraud, criminal copyright infringement, and money laundering—DMCA violations, Computer Fraud and Abuse Act violations, civil conspiracy, and more. Given Bungie's string of wins in court, I would expect this lawsuit to end pretty much the same way: With some spare cash for Bungie, and another cheat maker gone. For now, though, Ring-1 is still online, and still selling "undetected" cheats, for a whopping $59 per month. I would strongly urge you not to indulge. link: https://www.pcgamer.com/bungie-warns-destiny-2-cheat-makers-your-days-of-operating-without-fear-of-consequences-are-over1 point
