A new Xbox One model could be definitely introduced at E3 2016, as Microsoft has requested FCC to test two different models' wi-fi capabilities. One Xbox model has the very same user manual we have in the boxes now available on the market, while the other... well, it's pretty different and could be a brand new hardware.
ased on info gathered by a NeoGaf user, Microsoft has issued two different models at Federal Communication Commission. The first, dubbed 1682, uses the same user manual as the Xbox One model now on the market; the second, 1683, is instead different and has two information embargoes expiring on June 25 and July 29.
The first date is dangerously close to E3 2016, where Microsoft could unleash a new Xbox One model in response to recent PlayStation 4.5 rumors. As technical specs are still under embargo, we don't know how different this new Xbox One could possibly be from the one now available. It could include a different and more powerful hardware, or instead be just an aesthetic revision.
We'll learn more in the few coming days with more rumors and, sure enough, in June at Microsoft's E3 press briefing.
