A 34 kilogram tumor was removed from the womb of a Costa Rican woman in Mexico's Mexico city operation. The circumference of the neoplasm in her ovaries was one and a half meters.
TOTAL 80 PERCENT TARGET
When the operation started, the tumor occupied 80 percent of the woman's abdominal cavity and prevented the normal functioning of the liver and intestines.
8 YEARS OF OPERATIONS ERTELORDORD
Costa Rika, a 57-year-old Sonia Lopez, had taken the necessary warning of surgical intervention 8 years ago but gave up on surgery for "personal reasons".
