Every good geek worth his salt will agree that Batman is one of the best superheroes in history. If not the most because, unlike everyone else, he is the one who has inspired the most films and series over the last 70 years. And of course, we will agree that he is the one who has starred in the best games in the 80s, 90s, 2000s and 2010s. Right? Throughout the different generations of consoles, DC's Caped Crusader has made sure that we do not miss him, starring in many titles that have been adapted, both Tim Burton's films from the 80s and 90s and the following ones (George Clooney , Val Kilmer and co.) like the comics themselves who are turning 84 years old at this time. There it is nothing. The best games of the 90s And to celebrate that September 9, today, is Batman Day, we bring you the best games that the character starred in in the 90s. The decade of 8 and 16-bit consoles, PlayStation, Saturn, 3DO and arcade games, which were still part of the interactive entertainment of video games at that time. Obviously. Place each of these titles in the order that best suits you, we have not left them like this as an index of importance since all of them, in some way, left their mark on the fans of the DC hero. By the way, we haven't added Sunsoft's sensational Batman for NES because it came out in 1989, but technically it is also one of the best Dark Knight games that came out in those years... so write it down too. Here you have the rest... Batman The Movie (Arcade) We start with this classic for arcade machines from the 90s. In this title that adapted with greater or lesser fidelity the events of Tim Burton's film we will have to make our way through a series of levels in which we will beat all the villains those we meet. If you are fans of that movie, you can't miss it. Batman Returns (SNES/MD) As you will see throughout this list, the Batman movies of the 90s had very good video game adaptations. In the case of Tim Burton's second film, it was a leap in quality compared to its predecessor, since it opted for a better technical section and a somewhat more polished gameplay, although it did not vary too much either. https://hardzone.es/noticias/juegos/mejores-juegos-batman-decada-noventa/

As we always say: having competition in all sections and markets of the hardware industry is always a good thing, and it ends up benefiting users. Proof of this is what has just happened: after the recent launch of the Radeon RX 7700 XT and 7800 XT by AMD, NVIDIA has begun to suffer pressure from its direct adversary and has been forced to take action; In this case, lower the price of your GeForce RTX 4070. As a general rule, we almost always find ourselves in the position that for the same performance -or range-, NVIDIA graphics are more expensive than AMD ones. Before they hid behind the fact of integrating dedicated hardware for real-time ray tracing, but now AMD graphics cards also do it and are still cheaper; The reality is that both manufacturers have "adjusted up" the price of their products, but NVIDA is beginning to suffer from the pressure that AMD is putting on it and is being forced to make some important decisions regarding price. The RTX 4070 is cheaper, but what's the point? It is still curious that NVIDIA has chosen the RTX 4070 to lower its price; This graphics card was launched on April 13 of this year at an RRP of $599, placing a mid-high range graphics card designed for 1440p games at a price that seemed affordable if we compare it with what the RTX 4080 and RTX 4090, but it has never really been a top-selling graphics card by any means, especially because the RTX 4070 Ti are far superior for just a little more money. Also, don't think that the price reduction on the RTX 4070 has been substantial: it is $50. Also, remember that we are talking about MSRP, that is, the manufacturer's suggested retail price, which means that then the assemblers and even more so the stores are the ones who decide the final price at which their products are sold, no matter what. say NVIDIA. This means that, although some foreign media have already announced that this discount is effective in stores in their countries, in Spain for now "oranges from China." In any case, and despite the fact that when the RTX 4070 was launched on the market it seemed like a fairly logical graph, today we have the RTX 4070 Ti which is quite superior and the RTX 4060 Ti which, although it is inferior, is not too inferior either and However, it is much cheaper. In other words, NVIDIA continues to have a gap in range and price that, if we look at the global market situation, AMD is currently occupying. If we were talking about a more aggressive price reduction, for example 100 or 150 dollars, then it would make much more sense and, from our point of view, it would make the sales of this graph skyrocket. Of course, that would mean, on the one hand, that NVIDIA would earn less money and, on the other, that it would have a much larger price gap, cannibalizing sales of the RTX 4060 Ti. Anyway, ultimately the news is good for users who want to buy an RTX 4070 for a little less than what it cost until now, but the conclusion is that we do not believe that NVIDIA will gain anything from it because AMD's situation is too consolidated thanks to the latest releases he has made. https://hardzone.es/noticias/tarjetas-graficas/nvidia-rebaja-precio-rtx-4070/

The waters that the Government will have to navigate in legislative matters do not look easy. Pro-government voices within Congress warn that, after the district week, on September 25, the relationship with the opposition will be measured in a good way after the division that was experienced in the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the coup d'état. From the opposition, they assure that they want to quickly move on from the issue of September 11 to get to work on the matters that the Executive has set as priorities, but, at the same time, they point out that relations are very weakened. The departure of former minister Giorgio Jackson managed to decompress the atmosphere, but after this week it seems that the pressure has risen again. Another factor that may contribute negatively to this is the veto of the Usurpation Law, which must be entered during the week in which legislative activity resumes. In La Moneda they do not show much concern about this, but the opposition maintains that yes or yes it will be a factor that will add more difficulties to a smooth management of the most important reforms for the Government. The commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the coup d'état left a mark on the political class and was far from bringing together all forces in a declaration regarding basic democratic principles and respect for human rights. Although there were parallel texts that were not very different in their content, transversal political unity was not seen. That is the prelude to a legislative agenda that will be resumed on September 25 - for the district week of Congress - and that will address issues of security, health, probity, pension reform and the fiscal pact. The Executive assured that it hopes to be able to build agreements on urgent matters, but it seems that the tensions, which had been decompressed with the departure of former minister Giorgio Jackson, were activated again. On September 12, Senator Paulina Núñez (RN) revealed her first diagnosis regarding the relations between Congress and La Moneda: “After the commemoration of the 50 years, relations with the Government are broken, I think they were hurt, because "We are facing a Government that does not belong to all Chileans, that with its ideology ends up polarizing and dividing the country, rather than uniting us and reuniting us." For the senator, the discussions regarding the 50 years and the reforms are on the same level, because the Government is the one that "ends up mixing things, because at the end of the day you cannot come and kick the table or confront bad form to those who need to give you votes and support you in Congress.” Núñez stated that “the Government has no desire to talk and dialogue.” Opposition parliamentarians in the Chamber agree that in the first week there has not been much approach from the Government regarding urgent issues and also in relation to the rise in tension. The deputy and head of the UDI bench, Guillermo Ramírez, confirmed this feeling: “The Government poured all its energy into the commemoration of the 50 years, leaving the most urgent issues of Chileans on hold. For example, in health we have a record of deaths on the waiting list.” Ramírez hopes that “the Government will return to work” on the legislative agenda that is in progress and, in this sense, he noted: “In tax matters, get to the bottom of the Agreements case, to give guarantees that this Government will not leave to repeat acts of corruption like those, and in matters of pensions.” https://www.elmostrador.cl/noticias/pais/2023/09/17/relacion-entre-gobierno-y-oposicion-parte-con-los-puentes-cortados-tras-el-11/

Kelú, the first and only red panda born in Chile, died due to a deterioration in his health, the Metropolitan Park Zoo (Parquemet) announced this Monday, where he lived. The seven-year-old specimen was born on December 25, 2015 and was one of the main attractions of the facility. The red panda, about 60 centimeters long, was the son of Japanese parents who arrived in Chile in 2014. "Our red panda had an optimal clinical history, monitored annually in his preventive medicine exams, until 2018, when heart problems were detected, possibly of genetic origin. Since then Kelú began to have periodic check-ups with specialized cardiologists to monitor his condition and evolution over time," the zoo said in a statement. He explained that in 2021, "in one of his cardiological checkups, complications secondary to his cardiac condition were detected, which were treated with pharmacological preparations formulated according to the recommendations of the Zoo's clinical team and the specialists who were advising on his condition." "In mid-2022," the zoo continued, "his already advanced heart condition gave him a life expectancy of 6 months. Despite this, he remained stable, in good spirits, active and with behaviors consistent with his species, maintaining the bond." positive with his caregivers, who knew him since he was a puppy. And he added that "during the last two months Kelú's heart began to show signs of his fatigue; he spent more time resting and his walks became shorter and shorter." "Despite all the effort that the clinical and animal care team gave him, Kelú died in the company of the humans closest to him," he said. "As Parquemet Zoo, we express our deep regret for the loss of Kelú and maintain our commitment to education, conservation, research and rehabilitation of wildlife, with the support of prestigious international organizations that endorse our high-standard work. Goodbye Kelú!", concluded the message. Red pandas are classified as an endangered species on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) red list, with around 2,500 left in the wild. https://www.cooperativa.cl/noticias/pais/medioambiente/animales/murio-kelu-el-unico-panda-rojo-nacido-en-chile/2023-08-15/010940.html

In mid-August, Ford unveiled the first images and information of the new and only Mustang GTD, "the fastest road-legal Mustang of all time," and which has a target price of $300,000, the same as the cost of a Porsche 911. And the brand waited until the Detroit Motor Show to show it live, along with the new family of sports cars that will emanate from the new generation of the Ponycar: the Dark Horse, the GT4, the GT3 and, of course, the GTD. The brand indicates without hesitation that "when the first Mustang GTD takes the 73 curves of the Nürburgring, its goal will be to achieve a time of less than 7 minutes." And it jystifies it thanks to active aerodynamic technology never before used in a Ford street car. It is worth saying that to date, only 20 cars have lapped on the Nordschleife under 7 minutes, and that list includes icons such as the Mercedes-AMG ONE, the McLaren P1, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and Huracán Performante, the Porsche 918 Spyder and several 911s in their different configurations, but there are also some rare cars such as three versions of the Radical SR8 and two Porsche 911 models modified by Manthey Racing. Being there with a Ford Mustang is quite a challenge, but for this, the brand has proposed such a radical car, but only by design can it be considered a Mustang. It is worth saying that this car takes a lot of technology from the Mustang GT3 and is built in carbon fiber and light materials. It is equipped with a 5.2-liter supercharged eight-cylinder engine, which generates 800 horsepower, and is managed by an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission manufactured by Tremec, placed on the rear axle. The suspension has coil springs and shock absorbers of variable hardness, with a "pushrod" system (springs and shock absorbers are placed almost horizontally) mounted on a tubular subframe. The brakes are Brembo, with carbon-ceramic discs and fixed calipers, inside forged aluminum and magnesium wheels. One of the biggest innovations is the new Drag Reduction System (DRS), which features a hydraulic mechanism that adjusts the angle of the rear wing and activates the front flaps. This system optimizes airflow for speed and downforce for grip, adapting to various performance conditions. During tight cornering, where grip is paramount, DRS closes the main aileron and flap element to create an integrated aerofoil, improving rear downforce to improve cornering stability without sacrificing speed. At the same time, the front underbody of the car is designed like a keel, which helps in efficient evacuation of air through the front wheel arches. This creates an area of lower pressure that acts as suction to help keep the front end stable when cornering. The new Ford Mustang GTD will be hand-built at the Flat Rock plant. The first deliveries are planned between the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025. https://especiales.autocosmos.cl/salondedetroit2023/noticias/2023/09/15/los-secretos-del-nuevo-ford-mustang-gtd?_gl=1*1ujy6uc*_ga*MTUxNzQwNDI2NS4xNjgxOTU1NDcy*_ga_XTNQVYKWPM*MTY5NDk4MjMyNi4xNi4wLjE2OTQ5ODIzMjYuNjAuMC4w

Boca wants to turn the page after the fall against Defensa y Justicia that led to the third defeat in a row in the League Cup and for that it is obliged to win again when this Tuesday it visits Central Córdoba in Santiago del Estero for the fifth date in zone 2 in which it is among the last. However, Jorge Almirón is preparing an alternative team due to the series that the team is facing. While Xeneize continues to prepare the team, they trained yesterday and today, the coach has decided to propose an eleven with several names that are not usually starters since they will quickly return to activity this weekend, at home against Lanús, and the following week The semi-final match against Palmeiras will begin with the first leg on Thursday the 28th at home. The team that prepares the coach would have Sergio Romero in goal since, despite being undisputed, he had a rest in Varela. Meanwhile, Nicolás Valentini, who has just been called up to the Argentine Under-23 National Team, would reappear to form the duo with Bruno Valdez. Lucas Blondel and Marcelo Saracchi would complete the defense. In midfield, the triangle could be made up of Ezequiel Bullaude, Jorman Campuzano and Juan Ramírez and in attack there are four names for three places. Everything indicates that Darío Benedetto will be the center attacker, accompanied by Lucas Janson and the question is whether Miguel Merentiel plays as a winger or Exequiel Zeballos does. The other alternative is that the Changuito is maintained and instead of the Pipa, the area reference is the Uruguayan. As for the starters, the coaching staff will preserve Cristian Medina who was replaced against Halcón and showed signs of discomfort in the left adductor, where he was suffering from overload. While Valentín Barco suffered a cut on his left cheekbone for which he received five stitches and, although he could play without problems, he would not be able to start. The likely Boca eleven to face Central Cordoba Sergio Rosemary; Lucas Blondel, Bruno Valdez, Nicholas Valentini and Marcelo Saracchi; Ezekiel Bullaude, Jorman Campuzano and John Ramirez; Exequiel Zeballos or Miguel Merentiel, Dario Benedetto and Lucas Janson. https://www.tycsports.com/boca-juniors/boca-practica-equipo-alternativo-martes-central-cordoba-id536118.html

This Monday the 18th and Tuesday the 19th, the heads of state will meet at the UN headquarters in New York, at the SDG Summit. Chile, like the other member countries of the United Nations, committed to 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which include the end of poverty, reduction of inequalities, responsible production and consumption, climate action, gender equality , decent work and economic growth, among other points. The Cepei organization, based in Bogotá, produced a report analyzing Chile's SDGs, focusing on the Voluntary National Reporting Quality Index and the National Governance Quality Index for Implementation. Cepei Research Director, Javier Surasky, said that “we should expect countries to reaffirm their commitment to sustainable development and the 2030 Agenda, and to assume that it is time to move quickly and decisively from debates to actions.” Countries are halfway to meeting the goals of the 2030 Agenda. In 2015, Chile and the Member States of the United Nations established Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to combat the climate crisis, move towards gender equality and build peaceful, just and inclusive societies. While the National Holidays are celebrated in our country, this Monday the 18th and Tuesday the 19th the heads of state will meet at the UN headquarters in New York, within the framework of the SDG Summit. Chile, like other countries, committed to 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 goals, which include the end of poverty, reduction of inequalities, responsible production and consumption, climate action, gender equality, decent work and economic growth. , among other points. The objectives seek to achieve three dimensions of sustainable development: the economic, social and environmental spheres. Although the SDGs are clear, the reality is that achieving them is difficult: the climate crisis is deepening, experts have warned that the Covid-19 pandemic has deepened inequalities in the world, gender equality is far from being eradicated and distrust in political agents decreases. The Bogotá-based organization, Cepei, produced a report analyzing Chile's SDGs, focusing on two tools: the Voluntary National Reporting Quality Index and the National Governance Quality Index for Implementation. In relation to the Governance Quality Index for the implementation and monitoring of the 2030 Agenda, the report concludes that “at the national level of Chile it was 52.92 in 2023 and is located in the medium-high quality group among the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. The main challenge that affects quality is the limited openness to multiple actors.” The Director of Research at Cepei, Javier Surasky, states that “in the case of Chile, leadership stands out, that is, the ability to request information from State institutions, preparation of implementation plans or strategies, responsibility in the preparation of national progress reports, among other powers.” In order to implement the 2030 Agenda at the local level, the National Council was formed, an organization chaired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and composed of the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism, the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Social Development, which acts as secretariat. technique. However, Surasky maintains that Chile “could improve in the area of communication and awareness, since several of these institutions do not have specific responsibilities assigned to the issue. The ability to convene multiple actors is the one that varies the most from country to country, reaching on average a rating that is between the other two.” https://www.elmostrador.cl/cultura/2023/09/17/cumbre-sobre-los-ods-la-oportunidad-de-chile-para-comprometerse-con-la-agenda-2030/

These days, Valve is celebrating Steam's 20th anniversary the way it does best: with discounts on almost all of its games, as well as its Steam Deck consoles. In addition, the studio has published a chronology full of curiosities about the platform, and that includes a small "pearl" about the launch of Counter-Strike 2: initially it said that it would arrive this summer (and that is what it continues to say on the official website), but now that has changed to “it will be released very soon.” Earlier this year, the Counter-Strike community was clapping its hands with joy after several dataminers, players and journalists claimed that something big was on the way regarding Counter-Strike 2: the sequel to the famous CS:GO will be free, and all of players' precious cosmetics will be preserved. It was also announced that "it will be released this summer", which in the end has not happened (well, actually there is still time because summer officially ends on September 23). Counter-Strike 2 is coming sooner rather than later This is precisely what Valve has told us in the chronology it has published on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, a very interesting chronology that begins by talking about the dispute over which was the first third-party game released on Steam, and which ends with of course telling us what we mentioned at the beginning: that Counter-Strike 2 "will be released very soon." Counter-Strike 2 has already been available in a limited Beta phase, which at first was extremely restricted as only a small number of CS:GO players were allowed to enter (that was the moment when Valve determined that the game would be released in summer). A couple of weeks ago, almost everyone was finally able to try Counter-Strike 2, but of course what seems certain is that the promised release date is not going to be fulfilled... or yes, because at the end of the day "very “soon” for Valve could be next week, next month… or next year. And here we enter the usual dilemma: is it better that they launch it sooner, or that they take longer and launch it WELL? Honestly, being a game as po[CENSORED]r as this one, we believe that Valve cannot risk launching it with problems and that it is better to wait longer but that when the game comes out, it is in an optimal state of operation and playability. Obviously you will have some problems at first, but if they are minor problems it will take very little time to fix them. What is clear is that Counter-Strike 2 is currently a priority for Valve developers; The promises and expectations are high, and being the company it is, it cannot afford failures, at least not in this game with such an immense fan base. Counter-Strike 2 will be released very soon, probably before the end of the year, and the fact that it does not end up arriving in the summer is perhaps preferable to a release that is too early and that then raises complaints. https://hardzone.es/noticias/juegos/valve-counter-strike-2-lanzamiento/

EK would have introduced its water block support for NVIDIA's RTX 6000 Ada GPUs in its EK Fluid systems, allowing up to 7-way GPU solutions, that is, the possibility of having up to seven graphics cards in your computer. Something very unusual and interesting to us. Let's see its real usefulness and all the characteristics of this new model. Seven graphics on a PC? Well yes, the truth is that it sounds strange, and above all, expensive... since GPUs are one of the most important and uneconomical components of a computer. If on top of that we want to include 7. Do the math. Its usefulness would be focused above all on the advancement and learning of AI, providing high computational performance, without also worrying about temperatures at any time, since the EK Fluid systems are equipped with an extensive water cooling network, which provides adequate thermal dissipation. Of course, these systems are very specific and do not work for any graphics card model, however, they wanted to go that little step further and include NVIDIA within their compatibility, with the RTX 6000 ADA, which would have 18,000 CUDA Cores and 48 GB of GDDR6 memory. So if there were 7, you can imagine their potential. In addition, this cooling provides exceptional performance for this GPU model, which, according to tests, remains at a temperature of around 25 degrees, that is, a marvel, especially taking into account its design and options that we offer. offers. Our home computer is not the same as this. We do not know if this water block could be purchased separately, they have not yet given more information, although we assume that it will be included in their workstations, which are not cheap either. We can find, if we look for a minimum price, the FW S3000, which would start at $5,180. Of course, the compatibility of these stations is very diverse, we could see them with processors such as the 64-core AMD EPYC 7773X, Threadripper PRO or Intel Xeon models. Furthermore, its design, completely black and without RGB lights or any other type of distraction, means that when we look at it it gives us the feeling of professionalism and quality. We will have to really see it in operation to see its real potential and, above all, if it is capable of achieving those cooling and temperatures that we are told about, at full capacity and in poor conditions. If so, we would have a real work machine. In summary, we can see a workstation with a water block that allows us to have a processor to choose from, as well as 7 rails to incorporate RTX 6000 Ada GPUs. It won't be cheap and it's not aimed at home use, although if you can afford it and have an AI project in mind, go ahead, I'm sure you won't regret it either. However, it is great news for important companies and developers, who will achieve great advances in much less time thanks to this new product from the company EK, a specialist in this type of equipment. https://hardzone.es/noticias/tarjetas-graficas/7-graficas-pc/

Last April, after a guarantee judge from Temuco adopted a decision similar to that of her counterpart from Arica, Héctor Barraza, in order to lift the secrecy that hung over the identities of the protected witnesses who exist in the case against of the leader of the Coordinadora Arauco Malleco, Héctor Llaitul, the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Luis Cordero, de-dramatized the situation, stating in an interview with radio Duna that “what underlies this discussion is the right of the defense to know who is declaring and what is declaring against him, essentially for an issue that is associated with the right to defense. For this reason, probably what Llaitul's defense did in this case was to know the identity of those people to make their theory of the case effective, to see if those people have some level of commitment, the classic thing that can be behind litigation. ”. In the same sense, he asserted that, however, the defense is obliged to keep the antecedents secret, asserting that the collision between the position of the persecuting body and the defenders is “a tension of two goods that is very common in the law.” ”. It should be noted that after the Regional Prosecutor of Araucanía, Roberto Garrido, filed an appeal for protection due to this situation, the Supreme Court ended up revoking the decision of the court of first instance, in a ruling that was known on June 2. . Despite this, Cordero's position was diametrically opposed to what happened in Arica, as he asserted that "what happened with the disclosure of information from protected witnesses and agents who have that condition is extremely serious." Likewise, distancing himself from his previous statements, he argued that “it is a situation that also occurs in a context where the prosecutor who was in charge of the case, in fact, had protection and was authorized to appear electronically, precisely due to the nature Of the investigation". Likewise, he indicated that “this is not just any investigation, this is an organized crime investigation that is extremely complex, where the testimonies and the intervention of the police within it are very relevant. And what happened is serious enough, not only that the Ministry of the Interior, but also the Public Ministry has filed a complaint and appeal for protection," adding that there is already "a precedent with what happened in the case of Temuco, in a similar situation, where the Court revoked this decision.” *Editorial note: After the publication of this note, Minister Cordero sent to the editorial office of El Mostrador, through his communications manager, a text in which it is indicated that “the note assumes a change of supposedly 'diametrically opposed' position (fourth paragraph of the note). The two cases are totally different. In the Arica case, not only was the data of the protected witnesses revealed (a common tension with the defenses), they were also forced to hand over the data of the undercover agents and, in addition, the judge did not know that the prosecutor was under a protection measure. agreed by the committee of judges - that is why he appeared electronically - and prevented the rest of the participants from debate. The Aragua Train case is the most important and risky investigation into organized crime that currently exists in the country. The note assumes that both issues - on which an alleged contradiction is intended to be built - are factually and legally equal. However, they are different and therefore involve different approaches.” https://www.elmostrador.cl/noticias/pais/2023/09/15/el-giro-del-ministro-cordero-en-torno-a-los-testigos-protegidos/

It is the most endangered feline in America and one of the most endangered and least known cats worldwide. "Of the thousands of videos recorded by camera traps, there is always one or another gem, a video in which many incredibly rare elements are combined and reveal true secrets of nature that would otherwise be practically impossible for us to see." This is how the photographer Bernardo Segura described the material he managed to capture, "one of the most special moments" of his career and which corresponds to ". A female Andean cat with her puppy, only a few months old, walking through the Santiago mountain range." "For me this video represents all the hidden magic of the Santiago mountain range: while millions of people make their lives in the big city. Many unaware of the beauty that the hills that surround them hold, this beautiful couple of cats walks in full daylight, on a hill full of beautiful flowers, looking and listening to the city that is just below," The professional said on his Instagram account. Segura explained that the registry "is part of the long-term monitoring that we are carrying out on the site together with the @alianza_gato_andino." The Andean Cat Alliance (AGA) is "a multinational and interdisciplinary network that is made up of members from the four countries where the species lives: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Peru." The plug-in hybrid version has a powertrain with 184 HP of power and offers up to 82 kilometers of autonomy on a charge. The sixth generation of the Honda CR-V, the company's best-selling model worldwide, and which is already sold in Chile, arrives in Europe exclusively with electrified versions, whether the well-known conventional hybrid e:HEV that we have known since its launch in 2022, and a new plug-in hybrid e:PHEV. PHEV versions were available since the previous generation of the CR-V, but for this generation the system has been improved to offer more electric range and more fuel efficiency. Honda says the new e:PHEV version of the CR-V offers up to 82 km of all-electric range thanks to the use of a larger, 17.7 kWh capacity battery, which is coupled to a high-performance electric charger. The brand indicates that the greater electrical assistance allows the engine speed to be kept much lower than before, which improves noise levels, refinement and fuel efficiency at different speeds. Honda indicates that the consumption of the CR-V e:PHEV is only 125 km per liter with a fully charged battery. When the battery runs out, the vehicle becomes a traditional hybrid. The location of the electrical components, the optimization of the size of the cooling system and the mounting of the battery under the floor allow it to offer a trunk with a capacity of 587 liters, while the extensive use of aluminum in its casing and construction has also allowed reduce the weight of the unit. The charging port is located in the front left wheel arch, and allows 100% of the battery capacity to be recovered in 2.5 hours, thanks to the charging power of 6.8 kW. On a household socket with a charging capacity of 2.3 kW per hour, the CR-V's battery will take approximately 7.7 hours. Like the conventional hybrid version, the CR-V Plug-in Hybrid uses a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder Atkinson cycle gasoline engine, which delivers 148 HP and 189 Nm of torque. Honda says it has been revised with a high-pressure multistage direct injection fuel system, a high-performance catalyst and low-temperature activation. It features enlarged exhaust tips for improved power, a urethane engine cover, and increased crankshaft rigidity. The total system offers 184 Hp of power and 335 Nm of torque, and is only available with front-wheel drive. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.4 seconds and the maximum speed is 194 km/h. It has 4 driving modes (Sport, Normal, Econ and Snow), which change the vehicle's configuration in engine performance, traction and efficiency. https://noticias.autocosmos.cl/2023/09/15/la-honda-cr-v-ephev-debuta-en-europa

The availability of Lionel Messi is one of the great unknowns of Inter Miami's next adventure in the MLS. The team will visit Atlanta United this Saturday, although Gerardo Martino assured that he will be "careful" with the Argentine's management after the South American Qualifiers. "It's fine but we will see at the end of training to make a final decision. We will be very careful because we have a number of important games in the short term. We will talk day by day and see how they feel," Martino declared at a press conference. . The coach was left with only 12 field players in the last two weeks due to the departures of his best footballers due to the FIFA date. In this sense, Messi, who suffered discomfort in his right hamstring that kept him from the 3-0 victory against Bolivia, has already returned to work since last Thursday. "First we are going to determine if he is in a position to travel and we would analyze not only this game but everything that we have ahead of us these days. The chances are that he travels, that he does not travel, that he plays, that he goes to the bench, we will decide all that later training," he noted in the midst of the fight to qualify for the MLS playoffs. Messi has 11 goals in 11 games with the Inter Miami shirt and was champion of the Leagues Cup in August, the first trophy in the history of his club. In addition, he has scored a goal in three MLS games and did not score in the duels against Nashville and Los Angeles FC. Four men rest leaning against the back of a truck. Sudan. The door is open. Inside there are boxes, chairs and the cushions of an armchair. The group is taking down, by hand, the furniture from an apartment on the 26th floor of tower A of the Miramar Reñaca building, which, along with tower B, the Kandinsky and Santorini Norte, were evacuated due to its proximity to the two sinkholes registered in the dunes of Viña del Mar in recent weeks. Meanwhile, a woman approaches them to ask for a hammer. She looks distressed. “With all the hustle and bustle I lost the keys to a drawer and now I have no way to open it.” Her name is Trinidad Carreño and she is 70 years old and until early Monday morning she had lived for the last 13 years, since 2010, in tower B of the same building. “This has been like a bombshell for me. They threw a bomb at me and what I had achieved with a lot of effort disappeared,” she sadly tells La Tercera. The night of the accident, the owner says, the first thing she felt was a lot of noise. “I looked out on the balcony and saw a river of water coming out, a giant river. On the street there were police officers and workers in orange overalls. Suddenly they ran to the south of the street, which was closed. And well, that's where the sinkhole began. I saw that a light pole began to sink and in a matter of seconds everything fell. Then I and my granddaughter, and my daughter and my grandson, who lived in another apartment in the building, started to go down. There was a gas leak and the air was unbreathable. Below, police had already ordered the evacuation. It was one in the morning. We went out with pajamas, a jacket and we started. From the gas pump he called a daughter who lives in Olmué, and another son who lives in Viña. But at that time no one answered. Until my daughter called back around 04:00, and she told me to go immediately to her house,” she extends. Since then, Trinidad, her daughter and her two grandchildren have been living with relatives in Olmué. The fact of being “bothering my age,” she says, “has been terrible.” The worst thing, she adds, is that she perceives that the Ministry of Public Works (MOP), with the mitigation work she is doing, “is laughing at people. I feel that way because you would have seen the work, they threw some nylon towards the dune and made a wooden railing for it. Logically, that was not going to hold up.” Then I heard a statement from the Minister of Public Works (Jessica López) that, really, if she had been there she would have told him if she would like this to have happened to her. At this age, being homeless and laughing at people, and saying that the job was done well... is a mockery. And what's more, she says that it was in record time. I understand things the other way around. “In record time we left the broom.” In the street next to the sinkholes (Costa Montemar) you can see that there are men working. They build screens with wood around a water chamber. Trinidad assures that they are dumping, with a pump, the waters that were directed by the collapsed collector - which caused the first landslide - towards other chambers. And in addition, “they are throwing fill debris into the sinkhole, and I really don't know what function that will serve. I don't know if that's what should really be done, because the work they did before was a trivial task, a ridiculous thing that, without me being an expert, you realized that it was going to collapse and everything go into the void." Nicolás Marchant, son of Alfredo Marchant (72), owner of one of the apartments in the Santorini Norte building, also thinks that the second sinkhole occurred due to the “bad management,” as he describes, that the MOP has made with the mitigation work. . Finally, he adds, “it turned out to be even worse and more people were affected. Everyone blames real estate agencies and that you can't build on dunes, but Viña is built on dunes. We had meetings with the engineers and they guaranteed the safety of the building, especially the Santorini which is staggered. “Everyone is about washing your hands.” https://www.latercera.com/la-tercera-sabado/noticia/donde-vivir-el-incierto-futuro-despues-del-socavon-en-concon/QRQR7MAS2FGC3ICXFGJB4CSEPY/

It seems that Sony has taken a liking to porting its PlayStation exclusives to PC. The last one, if you remember, was the wonderful Ratchet & Clank a Dimension Apart which arrived just a year after its premiere on PS5. Now, finally, we will see another of the Japanese's latest hits land, on top of that, with all its content available to date in a complete edition. Indeed, Sony began with some caution by porting its exclusive PlayStation games to PC, but the truth is that the move is turning out well: it feeds a market that apparently is not direct competition, such as that of computers, and on top of that it leaves a an inch of the nose at its competition, Microsoft, giving it long teeth when it sees how these successes pass in front of its nose without it being able to touch them. Second part that will also come to PC The fact is that just 48 hours ago we informed you that a complete edition of Horizon Forbidden West had appeared on the Singapore regulatory body's website, assuming that it would be a new version intended for PS5 and PS4 users, which They were the ones who, in February 2022 and later in early 2023, received the original game plus its expansion, Burning Shores. The fact is that the information we offered you was true, but with a nuance, which has become known in the last few hours and that is that this complete edition with the game plus the DLC would not be designed only to land within the PlayStation ecosystem, but rather also on the PC. That is, Steam and other video game stores present on Windows. Something that we cannot say has not brightened the morning of those of us who have computers as our main source of entertainment. At the moment, there is still no information on a specific date of going on sale, but everything seems to indicate that this moment will occur throughout the remainder of the year 2023. A good time could be November, which seems calmer than next October, in which a huge number of new releases will be concentrated (Assassin's Creed Mirage, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Forza Motorsport, Spider-Man 2, etc.). They take less and less time As we told you, Sony has gotten the hang of porting its exclusives on PC (without an emulator, of course) and, although the first ones arrived with more distance between their console releases, that time period is getting shorter and shorter. In the case, for example, of Horizon Zero Dawn, which appeared on PS4 in February 2017, we fishers had to wait more than three years, until August 2020, to be able to emulate Aloy's exploits. If this Horizon Forbidden West is confirmed on PC by the end of 2023, a little more than a year and a half will have passed with respect to the main title, and less than 12 months with regard to the DLC, which was officially put on sale in April 2023. So it's all good news for PC gamers, who have their own exclusive developments and, on top of that, those that both Sony and Microsoft are leading on PlayStation and Xbox. Can you ask for more? https://hardzone.es/noticias/juegos/exclusivo-playstation-llegara-pronto-ordenadores/

The capacity of the current generation consoles is something that has always been on everyone's lips, and not exactly in good terms. The barely 825 GB that is available on the Xbox Series Fortunately, the update that arrives today for PS5 will allow the installation of higher capacity SSDs. Of the 825 GB capacity of the PS5's internal SSD, only 664 GB is available to store games. And of course, today's triple A games already exceed 100 GB, so users are forced to delete games in order to install others. Fortunately, installing an additional SSD in the PS5 is quite simple, but until now their capacity was also limited. Up to 8TB capacity on the PS5's additional SSD To install an additional SSD in the PS5, you just have to remove the outer cover and you already have direct access to the M.2 socket, so it won't take more than a couple of minutes for an experienced person to do it. The only requirement is that it cannot have a large heatsink due to the limited cloistered space that Sony has left, and depending on the manufacturer, it must have a certain level of performance, no more and no less. Oh, and until now SSDs with more than 2 TB capacity could not be installed. The new update, which has been detailed today on the official PlayStation blog, talks about the arrival of features that were already seen in the latest beta firmware for the console, such as being able to use a second DualSense controller, new 3D audio options with devices compatible with Dolby Atmos, and support for M.2 SSD units with up to 8 TB capacity, news that will be well received by Sony console fans since this will allow the number of games to be multiplied by four that can be saved in memory. This software update for PS5 also finally introduces PS Remote Play compatibility with additional Android devices, such as the Google Chromecast (4K model), something that will be great to be able to play the PS5 on different TVs in your home without having to move the console around. It is expected that at the end of this month of September, the company will begin to deploy an update for the PS App (in this case for Android and iOS) with new functions. It seems that Sony is working quite hard in terms of adding new features to its console, now that it is about to turn three years old. Will it be the preamble to pave the way for the rumored PS5 Pro? Of course it is quite probable, because you already know that as the saying goes, when the river sounds, it carries water. With the Tokyon Game Show just around the corner, it is quite likely that it will not take us long to clear up doubts. https://hardzone.es/noticias/equipos/ps5-actualizacion-ssd-capacidad/

At least four defenders, one of them a staff member of the Public Criminal Defender's Office (DPP), which depends on the Ministry of Justice, had access to the data of protected witnesses and undercover agents. The Public Criminal Defender's Office assures that the data is safe, but this afternoon the Public Ministry began a criminal investigation, for violation of the articles of the Drug Law that require confidential data of this type of cases to be kept secret. . While yesterday the relocation of witnesses and undercover agents who had the status of protected until before Judge Héctor Barraza ordered their identities to be handed over to the defense lawyers of the criminal organization Tren de Aragua, in Arica, several sources confirmed this afternoon that the National Prosecutor, Ángel Valencia, ordered the initiation of a criminal investigation due to the violation of several regulations regarding the secrecy that must be maintained in investigations. This investigation fell to the Regional Prosecutor of Iquique and Tarapacá, Raúl Arancibia. It is worth mentioning that, among other regulatory bodies that sanction the disclosure of secrets, the drug law establishes in its articles 30, 31 and 38 that prosecutors are obliged to protect the identities of witnesses, experts, informants or undercover or revealing agents, as well as those of their relatives, while the court "must decree the prohibition of revealing, in any way, the identity of protected witnesses or experts, or the background that leads to their identification." The violation of the above, the regulations indicate, has a minor prison sentence in its medium to maximum degree (from 61 days to 3 years). The law also indicates that the same penalty applies to anyone who disseminates or discloses information that is secret or, even, the mere fact that an investigation of this type is being carried out. As El Mostrador was able to establish, one of the sources of concern is related to the conduct of one of the court officials, who, as soon as the hearing was over, without even a record of it yet existing, handed over the records with the individualizations of the 57 protected witnesses and undercover agents to four defense attorneys, despite the judge's instruction that his handover had to be coordinated. In the hearing led by Héctor Barraza, he denied the presence via zoom of the prosecutor in charge of the case, who no longer lives in Arica, due to the threats against him (for which he has authorization from the committee of judges of that city, to attend the hearings remotely) and did the same with the plaintiff lawyer representing the Ministry of the Interior. Meanwhile, this afternoon, the Undersecretary of the Interior, Manuel Monsalve, pointed out that “the government is analyzing the constitutional and also legal powers it has to show that it seems to us that it is wrong and possibly negligent conduct and therefore we are analyzing the powers that the government has, among them we are analyzing the constitutional powers that are vested in the President of the Republic, particularly in article 32 of the Constitution, which gives him the power to review the ministerial conduct of judges and other employees of the Judicial Branch. This matter has been entrusted to the Minister of Justice, Luis Cordero, but I want to say from now on that the government intends to act, to show that we believe that this conduct is serious conduct that should not have occurred and that must be prevented." . He insisted that what Judge Barraza did “is a serious decision, because first he did not allow the intervening parties to be heard, such as the prosecutor in charge himself, who had to testify precisely because he is under protective measures via telematics, he was not allowed to participate. in the hearing and the lawyers of the Ministry of the Interior were not allowed to participate in that hearing either,” evaluating positively the fact that the Court of Arica had decreed an order not to innovate regarding the delivery of the information. The effects of resolution In addition to the indignation that Barraza's decision generated at different levels, yesterday efforts began to be made to relocate various witnesses and undercover PDI agents, some of whom spent several weeks infiltrating the criminal organization, using false identities. https://www.elmostrador.cl/noticias/pais/2023/09/14/inician-investigacion-penal-por-caso-de-juez-barraza/

The Guarantee Court of San Antonio decreed this Wednesday the precautionary measure of preventive detention for Abraham Enrique Rojas Basualto and Enrique Alberto Cubillos Varas, accused as perpetrators of the completed crimes of animal abuse, clandestine slaughterhouses and receipt of a motor vehicle. These crimes were revealed on Tuesday in the municipality of Cartagena, when personnel from the Second Police Station of that town disrupted a clandestine slaughterhouse that operated in an area in the San Sebastián sector. In the place there were more than 30 horses, pigs, cows and llamas in deplorable health conditions. At the formalization hearing, Judge Felipe Contreras ordered the admission of the detainees to the Penitentiary Compliance Center (CCP) of San Antonio, considering their freedoms a danger to the security of society. "According to the information handled and which is still under investigation by the San Antonio Public Ministry, the accused were found in a property in which there were various animal species in a deplorable state of health. Also, in the same property, They found parts of deceased animals and, likewise, tools from a slaughterhouse that, in this case, did not have the respective authorizations," said the magistrate. He added that "a motor vehicle that was charged with theft" was also found. Prosecutor Francisco Martínez had requested preventive detention for both defendants "in response to the diversity of crimes for which the investigation has been formalized and also a possible risk of flight." DEFENSE ALLEGES INNOCENCE OF THE ACCUSED AND POINTS TO A MARRIAGE AS THE REAL RESPONSIBLE From the defense of those arrested, lawyer Hernán Solís asserted that his clients, at the time of being surprised by Carabineros, "were working, at that moment, making a construction wall", ruling out their participation in the crimes. "The same neighbors, in different media, pointed out that the people who were in charge of the property and who transported the animals, who brought them in, who took them out, who fed them, were a couple. In addition, they pointed out that this marriage constantly came and went, who is probably from Santiago". "A neighboring neighbor said that he knew them, that they are a married couple and he doesn't know these people," the jurist continued. Finally, the judge set the investigation period for the case at 80 days. https://www.cooperativa.cl/noticias/pais/region-de-valparaiso/a-la-carcel-dos-imputados-por-matadero-clandestino-y-receptacion-de-un/2023-06-22/011647.html

Towards the end of 2021 we learned that Ford was testing the Mustang Mach-E in Brazil, and that it intended to launch it in 2022. Just that year, Ford Argentina confirmed that the model would land in the region this year, and now, the trans-Andean division of The brand confirms that its electric crossover SUV will arrive in that country towards the end of October. The brand's first 100% electric model has a double proposal, as it reinforces Ford's electrification policy, which already includes the hybrid versions of the F-150, Escape and Maverick, and also adds to the Mustang range that is already available. It offers GT coupe and convertible versions, and the more radical Mach 1. And although this announcement covers only Argentina and Brazil, the truth is that Ford Chile faithfully follows the product strategy of the South American subsidiary, so we can assume that the Mustang Mach-E will arrive in Chile soon. The question is whether it will do so next October or if we will have to wait a little longer. The brand, for now, says "no, not yet for Chile." Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Although Ford's brief statement does not give greater details than the version, and the equipment may vary depending on the market, the GT Performance variant of the Mustang Mach-E that was confirmed for Argentina stands out for the following: It has two electric motors Offers AWD traction 480 HP of power and 860 Nm of torque Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds or less 98 kWh capacity battery Autonomy 490 km (WLTP cycle) Does the Mustang Mach-E seem interesting to you? https://noticias.autocosmos.cl/2023/09/14/el-ford-mustang-mach-e-esta-cada-vez-mas-cerca-de-chile

Good and happy Thursday! My vacation is almost there and it's already feeling like the 18th. Empanadas, pebre and cuecas. My focus is always on empanadas and pebre. I do little to the cueca. During the week my WhatsApp exploded with comments about the interview that the president of the Central Bank, Rosanna Costa, gave to the Diario Financiero post-IPoM, in which she recognized that “this recent rise (of the dollar) has gone beyond what was contemplated in the projections” of the Council. Costa warned that the rise of the dollar will have an impact on the pace at which inflation is falling. The rise of the North American currency against the peso, this last month, is generating concern in the market and is a topic in the halls of Chile Day in London, where this Wednesday the Minister of Finance, Mario Marcel, said that the stabilization of the economy Chile is almost complete, emphasizing that the annual inflation rate is almost a third of what it was in 2022 and that in 2023 the economy would be growing “above its level a year ago.” The causes and dangers. The rate differential with the United States – where inflation is still a threat – and the Chinese slowdown – which hits the price of copper and which seems to be more structural than something temporary – puts downward pressure on the Chilean peso, and this could become in an unanticipated threat to that stabilization of the economy that Marcel spoke of in London. For the chief economist of Scotiabank, Jorge Selaive, an exchange rate almost at $900 should make the Treasury rethink its policy of selling dollars and the Central Bank should already be thinking about taking containment measures. Stella Li is one of the most powerful executives in China. BYD's executive vice president is the one who manages the business in the United States, Canada and Latin America and, in practice, is the company's number two. She is betting on Chile to “build the largest lithium value-added chain in Latin America.” In mid-August it announced an investment of US$290 million to build a lithium cathode factory in northern Chile and, in parallel, it is making a strong commitment to electromobility with the launch of BYD Auto Chile, which joins its strong presence in the electric bus market and its plans to enter the storage business. What is produced in Chile will be used in the electric car factories that are being built in Brazil. In August I was part of a delegation that visited BYD and Shenzhen, China, as part of an invitation. There I was able to talk with the executive about her plans and challenges to continue growing in Chile. She said that the Government has to be bolder to promote the energy transition and electromobility, she is optimistic about the future of lithium and has plans to continue investing, but she regretted that she has not yet been able to meet with President Gabriel Boric. Among her suggestions is to lower the VAT for electric cars and for the State to bet on a national network of electric battery chargers. -BYD has been very optimistic about Chile and lithium. He announced a major investment and talks of plans to develop and build a factory. Why are they so optimistic if Chile is still debating what they are going to do with the exploitation and production policy? -Actually, BYD is a company with a lot of patience. And a more important reason is that we have very good clients in Chile and we have already had a lot of success. As you know, Chile is the first country in which we introduced the first 200 electric buses to the market. The company has been operating for five years and the data results are very successful. This increases the confidence of our customers. The same customer, METBUS, has already made a new purchase. By the end of the year we will have nearly 1,000 electric buses operated by a single private bus operator. So this is trust. It is not from the Government, but from private operators. They believe in this technology, they trust this. We hope that history can be repeated in other sectors, for example, in the mining industry, in the taxi industry. And then we hope that the Government can offer more incentives for battery charging infrastructure. https://www.elmostrador.cl/el-semanal/2023/09/14/byd-y-su-estrategia-para-poner-a-chile-en-el-centro-de-la-cadena-de-valor-agregado-del-litio/
