1966 World Cup England 2-1 Portugal Not every semi-final has immortalised England teams or certain England players for the wrong reasons. The first, 55 years ago, gave no indication of the traumas to follow. It was the night Bobby Charlton produced what he described as “possibly my best performance in an England shirt” with two goals to down the attacking might of Portugal and the World Cup's leading scorer, Eusébio. Bobby's belting finishes, referenced in a certain song still doing the rounds, strengthened his case for the Ballon d'Or won that year. The great Eusébio got one back from a penalty after Jack Charlton deliberately handled José Torres's goalbound effort. It was the first goal conceded at the World Cup by Gordon Banks, who made a crucial save to deny Eusébio a late equaliser, and there was no red card back then for the elder Charlton brother. Portugal had two other penalty appeals for handball dismissed by the French referee and were regarded by many as fall guys in the Fifa/English FA “plot” to have England crowned world champions. The semi-final was scheduled to be played at Goodison Park, where Portugal had come from 3-0 down to beat North Korea three days earlier, but was switched to Wembley by Fifa's English president, Sir Stanley Rous, for "commercial reasons". Portugal had to leave their training camp and travel to London by train the night before the game while England stayed put. Photograph: PA Wire/PA 1968 European Championship England 0-1 Yugoslavia Advertisement Then, as now, England reached a second successive semi-final at a major tournament – the European Nations Cup, as it was known. It came after the team had topped their Home Nations group with a 1-1 draw against Scotland in front of 130,000 fans at Hampden Park. Spain were defeated in the quarter-finals before the reigning world championsEngland traveled to Florence with seven of the side that started against West Germany in 1966. It would have been nine but Geoff Hurst and Nobby Stiles were injured in a friendly against the beaten World Cup finalists four days earlier. A bad-tempered, violent game was settled four minutes from time by Yugoslavia's Dragan Dzajic when he brilliantly controlled a deep cross from the left behind Bobby Moore before finding the roof of Banks' net. A minute later Alan Mullery became the first England player to be sent off in the country's 424-game history for retaliating to Dobrivoje Trivic's foul from behind by kicking his assailant in the knackers. "I apologised to the players," Mullery later recalled. “But Alf [Ramsey] was very, very good to me. He came in, looked at me with a stern face and said: 'I'm glad somebody retaliated against those bastards.' He was very angry about it. When I got back, the Football Association fined me £50 and Alf paid the fine, which was absolutely unbelievable. Fifty quid was a lot of money in 1968.” 1990 World Cup England 1-1 West Germany; West Germany win 4-3 on penalties The game that encapsulates torment and regret for a generation of England fans and also helped change the way football was perceived in the country. Gazza's tears, Gary Lineker instructing the bench to “have a word with him”, Stuart Pearce and Chris Waddle failing to convert in the penalty shootout and Peter Shilton getting nowhere near a West German spot-kick – the memories are vivid and etched into English football folklore. What is often overlooked is how well Bobby Robson's team played that night in Turin and how close they came to reaching the final against Argentina in normal and extra time. Behind to Andreas Brehme's ludicrously deflected free-kick, England equalised 10 minutes from time courtesy of Gary Lineker's 10th goal at a World Cup finals. England, denied a clear penalty earlier in the second half when Klaus Augenthaler felled Waddle, hit the post in extra time through the Marseille winger and saw David Platt's header ruled out for a close offside decision. Guido Buchwald also struck the woodwork for West Germany before they secured their place in a third consecutive World Cup final via an agonising shootout. “We were a whisker away son, a whisker away…” as Robson later told Lineker. Photograph: Roberto Pfeil/AP 1996 European Championship England 1-1 Germany 1; Germany win 6-5 on penalties Another case of what might have been but for the ordeal of a shootout against Germany. It fell, of course, to Gareth Southgate to miss the only one of 12 otherwise immaculate spot-kicks as Berti Vogts' team advanced to another victorious final and the host nation's party came to an abrupt halt. Alan Shearer and Stefan Kuntz traded early goals at Wembley before the drama intensified in an extra-time period that would have been settled by a Golden Goal. Darren Anderton struck a post 80 seconds into extra time, Kuntz had a goal disallowed for a foul on Southgate and a lunging Paul Gascoigne somehow failed to connect with Shearer's volley across the face of an open goal. Terry Venables, in his last game as England manager, did not make any substitutions in the 120 minutes and Southgate, the youngest and least-capped member of the team, took responsibility for the first sudden-death penalty ahead of Anderton, Paul Ince, Steve McManaman and the captain, Tony Adams. Pearce did find some personal redemption with his successful spot-kick. Asked whether victory over Germany in the last 16 of Euro 2020 atoned for that miss, Southgate called it perfectly once more. “For the teammates that played with me, I can't change that,” he said. “That is always going to hurt. But what is lovely is that we’ve given people another day to remember.” Gareth Southgate looks dejected after failing to score in the semi-final shootout at Euro 96. Photograph: PA 2018 World Cup England 1-2 Croatia The fourth defeat in five semi-finals at a major tournament for England and one that, fresh in the mind for many of those players who will face Denmark on Wednesday, could offer invaluable experience in how to finally get over the line. “Could we have been a little more brave or composed?” pondered Harry Maguire when he reflected on defeat in Moscow this week. “Could we have taken the ball when we were leading the game, rather than sit back and soak up the pressure?” Yes, yes and yes is the answer. Ahead through Kieran Trippier's exquisite early free-kick, Southgate's team had the edge and chances to have extended their lead before Croatia wrested back control and punished poor England defending through Ivan Perisic's improvised volley and Mario Mandzukic's clinical finish in extra time. England played the last 15 minutes with 10 men when a tearful Trippier suffered an injury after Southgate had used all his substitutes. For all the optimism that England's World Cup campaign generated, it was an opportunity missed. Three years older and wiser, Southgate's squad have earned themselves another at the only venue to have staged an England semi-final victory.

Untreated sleep apnea can stress your heart, raise your blood pressure, and worsen your mood. You might have trouble thinking clearly because you're not getting the deep sleep you need. And your snores or gasps for air at night may disturb loved ones. But there are ways to breathe easier. A continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) device is one option. But it's not your only choice. Christine Won, MD, specializes in sleep-related breathing disorders at Yale Medicine and says lifestyle changes can help. Some take aim at your sleep apnea. Others are geared toward better sleep in general. “This can help with the fragmented and poor-quality sleep you get with sleep apnea.” Here's what you need to know. Lose Weight Sleep apnea is more common in obese adults. That's because extra fat tissue can block your upper airways. Christine Won, MD Your genes and natural physical traits also play a role, says Kuljeet Gill, MD, a sleep medicine specialist a Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital. But “lossing weight is probably the first recommendation.” Won agrees that weight loss can help lessen how bad symptoms are in some people. But it might not get rid of your need for the CPAP completely, she says. Anyone of any size can get sleep apnea, even kids. That’s why Meir Kryger, MD, a sleep medicine specialist at Yale Medicine, asks adults with sleep apnea this question: “Do you have children, and do any of them snore?” Early treatment in children may ward off problems down the road, he says. Exercise More Your odds of sleep apnea go up if you're not physically active. Exercise can help you shed fat around your upper airways. Even without a big drop in weight, Kryger says regular movement can raise your energy levels and improve your overall health. Outside of weight loss, research shows physical activity can help people with sleep apnea in the following ways: Boost your oxygen levels Help you feel less sleepy Improve your sleep quality Lessen how bad your sleep apnea is We need more research to know exactly how exercise helps with sleep apnea. But try to work in 2 days of weight training and at least 150 minutes of aerobic activity each week. Think 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Gill says your mood and sleep quality might get better with just 10 or 20 minutes a day. Anyone of any size can get sleep apnea, even kids. Quit Drinking and Smoking Alcohol use can make sleep apnea worse for a couple of reasons. “We know that it reduces the tone of the upper airway breathing muscles,” Kryger says. “But also, people who drink a lot of alcohol tend to put on weight.” Gill says it's best to give up booze completely. But she knows that's not doable for everyone. If you’re going to drink, tips on how to lessen alcohol’s impact on your sleep apnea include: Stop drinking at least 3 to 4 hours before bed. Limit alcohol use to weekends. If you're a heavy drinker, try to cut back to 1 or 2 a day. If you smoke, quit. Experts aren't exactly sure how cigarette smoking relates to sleep apnea. But studies show people who have the sleep disorder or more likely to smoke. Plus, chemicals in cigarettes can harm your health and poor sleep quality. Avoid Certain Medication Gill says you'll want to be extra careful with opioids, a type of strong painkiller. They can slow down your breathing rate and relax breathing muscles even more. Other drugs that might affect sleep apnea include: High-dose benzodiazepines Muscle relaxers Testosterone Atypical antipsychotics or other drugs linked to weight gain Ask your doctor if it's OK to use over-the-counter sleeping pills. It's not that OTC sleep aids make sleep apnea worse, Gill says, but “you don't want to mask an underlying breathing problem.” Change Your Sleep Position Kuljeet Gill, MD Kuljeet Gill, MD You might breathe easier if you snooze on your side. “I sometimes have [older] men buy pregnancy pillows to avoid their back,” Gill says. Take a look at your mattress choice, too. “A bed that elevates your head might also help,” Won says. But keep in mind that a change in body position won't fix the cause of your sleep apnea. And it might not do much if you have serious symptoms. “But it may help people who are snorers or who have a mild sleep-breathing problem,” Kryger says. Try a Dental Device You might hear this called oral appliance therapy. These tools pull your tongue away from your throat or bring your lower jaw up and forward, Kryger says. That keeps your throat open at night. For some people, a dental appliance can be “virtually as effective as CPAP,” he says. You'll need to get one made by a dentist or orthodontist who works with your sleep doctor. But dental devices can be a lot more expensive than a CPAP, and your insurance may not cover it. Treat Nasal Congestion A stuffy nose doesn't cause sleep apnea. The problem starts back in your throat, behind your tongue, Kryger says. But managing your allergies -- either with surgery, anti-inflammatory agents, or corticosteroids -- may help if you have mild sleep apnea, he says. In addition to allergy treatment, Gill suggests rinsing with saline one or two times a day. You can buy over-the-counter nasal sprays or irrigation kits. Gill says whether you use a CPAP machine or not, “part of breathing better is opening the nose.”

On Tuesday, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a series of intensive interviews as part of preparations for the next session of the Security Council on the issue of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam scheduled for Thursday. Shoukry met with the permanent representatives of Russia and China, as well as the permanent delegates of the United States, Britain and France to the United Nations, as well as the troika of the African Union consisting of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Africa and Senegal. The official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Hafez, stated that Shoukry reviewed, during these meetings, the dimensions of the Egyptian position on the issue of the Renaissance Dam, as he highlighted Egypt's serious involvement in negotiations over a decade with the aim of reaching a binding legal agreement on filling and operating the dam that takes into account the interests of the three countries. He stressed the paramount importance of the Renaissance Dam issue in light of its infringement on the capabilities of the Egyptian people. Hafez added that the Foreign Minister stressed during the interviews the need for the Security Council to assume its responsibilities in this regard, to support efforts to resolve the stalled negotiations, and to push for a fair, balanced and legally binding agreement that achieves the interests of the three countries. This comes after the Sudanese Foreign Minister, Maryam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, met with Shukry in New York, in continuation of the continuous coordination in order to reach a comprehensive and binding legal agreement on the Renaissance Dam. Ethiopian letter to Sudan In this context, the Sudanese Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources received a letter from its Ethiopian counterpart informing it of the start of the second filling of the Renaissance Dam during the current rainy season, stressing that this notification is useless unless negotiations and agreement on filling and operating the dam are negotiated. The official spokesman for the Sudanese negotiating team, Omar Al-Farouq Kamel, said, "Sudan renews its rejection of the unilateral filling of the Renaissance Dam for the second year in a row without an agreement, which is a clear violation of international law and the agreement of principles, agreements and the stable practice regulating the exchange of benefits for common rivers." draft resolution For its part, Tunisia submitted to its 14 partners in the UN Security Council a draft resolution calling on Ethiopia to stop filling the Renaissance Dam reservoir, according to diplomatic sources. The draft resolution seen by Agence France-Presse sti[CENSORED]tes that the Security Council asks “Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan to resume their negotiations at the request of the African Union President and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, in order to reach, within 6 months, the text of a binding agreement to fill the dam.” and its management. According to the draft resolution, this binding agreement should "ensure Ethiopia's ability to produce hydroelectric power from the Renaissance Dam and at the same time prevent significant damage to the water security of the downstream countries." In the draft resolution, the Security Council also calls on "the three countries to refrain from any declaration or action that may jeopardize the negotiation process", and at the same time urges "Ethiopia to refrain from unilaterally continuing to fill the reservoir of the Renaissance Dam." The American position The US State Department stated that Ethiopia's filling of the Renaissance Dam reservoir would likely increase tension, and urged all parties to refrain from unilateral moves towards the dam. State Department spokesman Ned Price said the United States calls on all parties to commit to a negotiated solution. Dujarric said that "solutions to this issue need to be guided by examples and models with solutions developed by others who share waterways and rivers, and this is based on the principle of fair and reasonable use and the obligation not to cause significant harm."

I'm both a cheap geek and a realistic one. There are some hardware upgrades that I will gladly do — upgrades such as ensuring that all hard drives in any computer I have are SSDs rather than IDE hard drives. Especially with Windows 10, it's a no-brainer: an SSD makes any wheezy computer snappier. I've even upgraded a server to include a TPM module. Typically the hard part is finding the right part that you need and then finding a picture (or ideally a video) showing exactly where the TPM module is plugged into the motherboard. But upgrading a processor? That's where I draw the line. I have slathered on too much CPU thermal paste to feel comfortable in taking an existing processor out of a computer and upgrading it. [Further reading: 14 ways to speed up Windows 10] So why am I worrying about upgrading hardware? Because of the recommended hardware mandated with the upcoming Windows 11 rollout near the end of the year — requirements that include a 64-bit processor with 2+ cores and a speed of at least 1GHz, as well as a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0. To be clear, Windows 10 will be supported with updates until 2025, so there is no need to panic now. Rather, it's a time to determine which computers can be updated to Windows 11 when it comes out at the end of the year and which ones should be left at Windows 10. Upgrading to TPM 2.0 But let's start with the basics. You may need to do some research on your computer or motherboard to see if it shipped with a TPM chip or can support it. Start by clicking in the Windows search box and typing in tpm.msc. If you have a TPM chip on the motherboard and it's enabled in the bios, then the resulting screen will show you if you have TPM 1.2 or 2.0. Updating your computer to support TPM 2 may be only a boot away, or it may be more complicated. But first you have to ask yourself if you've encrypted your hard drive with a third-party encryption tool or with BitLocker. If you have, you'll have to unencrypt the hard drive and re-encrypt it after the firmware upgrading process. This may take time. Going by my experience with unencrypting a BitLockered drive, be prepared to start it overnight and wait until the process has fully completed. On my Lenovo ThinkPad laptop, I was able to easily flip from TPM 1.2 to 2.0 by booting into the bios, finding the section in the bios settings — usually in security — and then changing the setting from TPM 1.2 to 2.0. A sample video on the process can be found on YouTube. For my HP desktop at the office, the process was a bit more complicated, as I had to find the exact firmware update to upgrade the computer from TPM 1.2 to 2.0. I originally attempted to use HP's TPM Configuration Utility but found a more exact match for my motherboard by reading this HP support document. For Dell, you can follow the company's documentation or YouTube video. If it's been done successfully, your TPM module will now indicate that you've upgraded from 1.2 to 2.0. Upgrading the processor But now you will find that the real block in running Windows 11 successfully is not the TPM chip — even though that is important — but the processor. Unless you already have an Intel Generation 8 (or equivalent in the AMD family) or unless Microsoft requirements backs down on its processor, you won't be able to run Windows 11. Researching my computers and which Intel chipset they run on made me realize that some of remember my Core i5-based PCs are older than I haded. While I was a bit concerned that so many computers I control won't be able to upgrade to Windows 11 with their current processors, it was a useful wakeup call to the fact that I have a lot of older equipment in my fleet. While you can upgrade a processor after researching which ones your existing motherboard can support, the ease of doing so will depend on the kind of computer you have. I've found that if I've built a computer from scratch, buying the motherboard, the graphics card, the processor, and the case separately, I can often find a newer processor that the motherboard will support, or I can opt to upgrade the motherboard as well. In the good old days that usually meant a trip to Fry's Electronics, but those days are over now that Fry's has gone out of business. Nowadays upgrading is a bit harder, especially in cases where I've purchased refurbished business desktop machines rather than starting from scratch. The only computer I have that will support Windows 11 is my recently purchased Surface Pro 7. But whenever I purchase Surface devices these days, I don't purchase them up front. Instead I sign up for the Surface All Access for Business plan that allows me to purchase them over time for 0% interest, and then when I get near the end of the term, I can turn in the device and get a newer one. Because Surface devices are extremely hard to open and service (I never have managed to pry open the Surface RT from years ago that had a battery die and was never able to be charged up again), I look to ways that allow me to swap them out for new equipment after several years. While this program is set up for businesses only, other computer vendors may provide similar offerings for lightweight laptops that cannot be easily upgraded. Should you bother? Of course, you'll probably ask me if you really need to upgrade to Windows 11. If you think your computer has four more years of good, solid life in it, then the answer is no. Windows 10 will be fully supported for the next four years, and knowing Microsoft, if enough of us are still running Windows 10 at the end of these four years (we will, trust me), then the company will come up with some sort of extended patching program. Bottom line: evaluate your computers. See which ones can make the cut for Windows 11, and those that can't. And then relax, because Microsoft has just started the beta process for Windows 11, and Windows 10 has a lot of life still left in it. If you have any lingering questions, we've got plenty of answers over at Askwoody.com and here on Computerworld.

A US software firm scrambled to restart its systems after a massive ransomware attack affecting organizations worldwide. A US software firm hit by a major ransomware attack that crippled hundreds of companies worldwide said it was on track to restart its servers later Tuesday to bring customers back online. Kaseya, the Miami-based IT company at the center of the hack, said it pushed back its forecast by two hours and hoped to resume operations between 2000 and 2300 GMT. The news comes after an attack business that affected an estimated 1,500 and prompted a ransom demand of $70 million. The systems were being brought back online with "enhanced security measures" and "the ability to quarantine and isolate files and entire ... servers" in case of infection. "Later today we will release a customer-ready statement for you to use to communicate to your customers on the incident and the security measures that we have put in place," a Kaseya statement said. While Kaseya is little known to the public, analysts say it was a ripe target as its software is used by thousands of companies, allowing the hackers to paralyze a huge number of businesses with a single blow. Kaseya provides IT services to some 40,000 businesses globally, some of whom in turn manage the computer systems of other businesses. The hack affected users of its signature VSA software, which is used to manage networks of computers and printers. Sweden's Coop supermarket chain is racing to hundreds of stores closed as a result of the ransomware attack. Experts believe this could be the biggest "ransomware" attack on record—an lucrative form of digital hostage-taking in which hackers encrypt victims' data and money for restored access. The Kaseya attack has ricocheted around the world, affecting businesses from pharmacies to gas stations in at least 17 countries, as well as dozens of New Zealand kindergartens. Most of Sweden's 800 Coop supermarkets were shut for a third day running after the hack paralyzed its cash registers. Kaseya said Monday that while less than 60 of its own customers were "directly compromised", it estimated that up to "1,500 downstream businesses" had been affected. White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said the administration was monitoring the situation amid reports that the attacks came from a Russia-based cyber gang. But she noted that "the intelligence community has not yet attributed the attack... we will continue to allow that assessment to continue." Psaki reiterated the warning President Joe Biden to his counterpart Vladimir Putin about Russia harboring cybercriminals, stating that "if the Russian government cannot or will not take action against actors residing in Russia we will take action, or reserve the right to take action on our own." Biden, asked about the incident Tuesday, said that so far there appeared to be "minimal damage to US businesses" but that "we are still gathering information to the full extent of the attack." Notable cyber attacks since 2006. Going out with a bang? REvil, a group of Russian-speaking hackers who are prolific perpetrators of ransomware attacks, are widely believed to be behind Friday's assault. A post on Happy Blog, a site on the dark web associated with the group, claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it had infected "more than a million systems." The hackers demanded $70 million in bitcoin in exchange for the publication of an online tool that would decrypt the stolen data. While the hackers are thought to have been reaching out to individual requesting smaller payments, the suspects demanded for $70 million has analysts. French cybersecurity expert Robinson Delaugerre suggested that REvil could be treating the Kaseya attack as a final act before going out of spectacular business. The group was responsible for around 29 percent of ransomware attacks in 2020, according to IBM's Security X-Force unit, looting an estimated $123 million. "Our hypothesis is that REvil is going to disappear and this is its final big act," he told AFP, predicting that the group—which also goes by the name Sodinokibi—could re-emerge under a new name. The FBI believes REvil was also behind a ransomware attack last month on global meat-processing giant JBS, which ended up paying $11 million to the hackers. The United States has been a particular target of high-profile cyber attacks in recent months blamed on Russia-based hackers, with the Colonial oil pipeline and IT firm SolarWinds among the targets.

I have found a better solution for you than this and it may help you better. Perhaps this problem is very difficult. I really tried to solve this matter, but nothing appeared to me. I brought you a very wonderful and easy lesson, but follow what he says in the least details. Also Often we have to delete a specific program after we have finished using it or we no longer need it, or we want to reinstall a specific program as a result of errors in this program; For example, one of the ways to solve the problem of the PUBG emulator is to delete the emulator and reinstall it again. Many users do not know that this emulator is not permanently deleted from Windows files, but some files remain stuck in the Windows registry files.. Therefore, today I will present to you a way to delete all files from their roots and in a very easy way, continue the explanation. Hopefully I might do something useful for you and try to help you as much as possible, but I'm sure it will work for you keep it up!

Copado, a developer operations (DevOps) company initially built for the Salesforce ecosystem, has announced plans to acquire AI-powered software testing platform Qentinel. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The software testing market was estimated to be worth $45.6 billion last year, a figure that's expected to more than double within six years. With every company now effectively a software company, and the cloud taking center stage, businesses across every sector need the tools to help them develop and ship bug-free software at speed. This is why we've seen a flurry of activity across the software testing space of late, with BrowserStack and LambdaTest raising $200 million and $16 million, respectively in the past few weeks alone. Founded in 2013, Copado serves enterprises with an integrated Salesforce-native platform spanning the whole DevOps process, including agile planning, continuous delivery, automated testing, and compliance. More recently, the company has expanded its support to additional clouds and platforms outside of Salesforce, such as Veeva, Heroku, and MuleSoft. Finnish company Qentinel provides automated software testing tools for major enterprises such as Kone and Thyssenkrupp that work across major cloud platforms including Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft. ADVERTISEMENT This is a big deal for Copado, as it signals the company's intentions to continue its transition beyond the Salesforce ecosystem for which it is better known. “Bringing Qentinel into Copado DevOps allows us to ensure continuous quality when building and deploying in multicloud environments,” Copado CEO Ted Elliott said in a statement. The Qentinel acquisition, expected to close in the next month, follows shortly after Copado raised $96 million in funding and acquired multicloud developer security operations (DevSecOps) startup New Context. With the advent of 5G, signaling test at manufacturing is more important than ever 5G, the multi-faceted technology of the coming decade, is designed for use cases that go far beyond smartphones; it will prove to be one of the foundational pillars for many industry verticals. With the aim to improve wireless connections worldwide and provide better user experience, several companies are designing devices with 5G capability ranging from connectivity equipment like customer premises equipment (CPE) and fixed wireless access (FWA) systems to internet of things (IoT) devices like wearables, trackers, sensors and mission critical devices like autonomous vehicles, virtual reality (VR) headsets for assisting surgeries and much more. Such a diverse and novel range of cellular-capable devices will have remarkably different usage models, device designs and performance. Some may be designed to interact and exchange data at lightning-fast speeds with multiple other terminals, as in the case of Industry 4.0 where synchronized robots are used at the factory floor for real-time monitoring, or automobile vehicles where excessive coordination is required between the camera, sensors, GPS and technology subsystems of the car with the base station. In other cases, some devices will enable high-speed audio and video communication as in the case of CPEs, smartphones or hotspots, and some devices will tend to demands demanding reliability, efficiency and longer battery life as in the case of drones, fitness trackers and smart home devices. As exciting as the use cases may sound, enabling such an extensive feature set in a cellular-capable smart device means several components need to be designed-in, such as the battery, processor, modem, RF/IF subsystem, antenna modules and peripherals like a camera, audio, GPS and much more. This underscores the importance of testing to ensure each of the components are working together to deliver the desired capability and performance when in the real world. Although cellular testing is not a new requirement, testing such an unfamiliar set of devices may be challenging considering: The OEMs and their manufacturing lines are set up to test standard devices like smartphones, tablets, hotspots, or other IoT devices. Hence, to incorporate testing across new form factors, the test setup and fixtures would need to be updated. Secondly, many of these devices have never been tested from a cellular perspective, which implies newer test cases would need to be added to verify state-of-the art features within each test area – research and development (R&D), design validation test ( DVT), sampling, production, or service centers. Further, many of these devices will be equipped to support advanced functionalities like eSIM, multi-SIM, exceptionally high throughput, extreme mobility, co-existence with other connectivity technologies, voice over NR and video over NR, which would make a real-world scenario testing all the more necessary pre-deployment. With more diverse and growing 5G use cases around the world, the demand for 5G modules is increasing. According to the “5G Digital World – Built on Chips” report published by Omdia, by 2025 more than 100 million 5G IoT modules are expected to be shipped, suggesting a rise in the market for 5G module based on IoT devices. This prompts the need to perform cellular signaling test not just at R&D but even more so at manufacturing. Last but not the least, 5G technology supports flexible frequency range of use, diverse bandwidths, sub carrier spacings, modulation schemes, etc. which necessitates adequate testing. In addition, at millimeter waves, owing to the path loss associated with the over the air (OTA) test methodology, careful consideration has to be made when choosing the chamber and related accessories to accurately verify the performance of the device with a given form factor and antenna configuration. All of this requires rethinking the traditional test methodologies to ensure product quality and performance testing. Signaling vs Non-Signaling Testing Before we delve deeper into the different types of signaling tests that must be performed across 5G devices, let's differentiate between the two cellular testing techniques – signaling and non-signaling. Non-signaling testing is conducted at nearly every stage of product development, although it is highly targeted and optimized for use at manufacturing. The technique makes use of an RF signal generator and analyzer to predominantly focus on calibration and verification of device RF transmitter and receiver performance. This type of testing is performed in non-call processing mode and makes use of chipset-specific test mode to measure pre-defined transmission patterns, thereby minimizing test time and improving cost of test. Simplified block diagram of signaling vs non-signaling test. Image: LitePoint On the other hand, signaling testing is extensively used during product development stages like R&D and DVT and uses a base station emulator to establish an end-to-end user plane call with the device under test (DUT). This approach is extended, as it uses a combination of control plane signaling and user plane traffic to measure the true performance of the DUT under realistic test conditions, but aids in verifying each layer of the protocol stack to perform a comprehensive device. Although non-signaling testing is specialized and fast, it's exclusively geared towards verifying the standalone performance of the device transceiver, thus factoring out the impact of live network conditions and other components within the hardware on the overall functionality of the finished product. Importance of 5G Signaling Test at End-of-Line (EOL) for Quality Assurance When building products with a chip-on-board (COB) design, protocol and functional testing are integral parts of the product design and development stages to ensure the device goes through extensive feature testing and software regression prior to manufacturing. However, the test dynamics change when building products using third-party cellular module/RF subsystem/antenna modules as, even if the modules sourced are certified, it does not guarantee the final product will function as desired in the field. Once packaged together the components can notably impact each other and the overall behavior of the product in real world network configurations

The Palestinian Monetary Authority is studying the possible issuance of a digital currency, a move that would allow it to strike at least a symbolic blow for monetary independence from Israel. Under their 1990s accords with Israel, the Palestinians agreed not to immediately create their own currency, and their economy primarily uses the Israeli shekel, along with the Jordanian dinar and U.S. dollar. Palestinian banks are currently awash in shekels because of an Israeli law prohibiting large cash transactions, meant to crack down on money laundering. Israel also limits how many shekels Palestinian banks can transfer back into Israel monthly. As a result, they sometimes have to borrow to cover foreign exchange payments to third parties, and are stuck with a glut of Israeli banknotes. That could be one reason a digital currency would be attractive to the Palestinian monetary system. Two studies on cryptocurrencies are underway and no decision has been made yet, but the hope is to eventually use digital currency “for payment systems in our country and hopefully with Israel and others to use for actual payments,” Palestinian Monetary Authority Governor Feras Milhem said in an interview with Bloomberg Television. It might not be feasible, however. The Palestinian economy is inherently weak, constrained significantly by Israeli limitations on the free flow of goods and people. It relies heavily on donor money, and remittances from Israel. Raja Khalidi, director of the Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute, said “the macroeconomic conditions don’t exist to allow a Palestinian currency – digital or otherwise – to exist as a means of exchange.” However, he added, the issuance of some kind of digital money could “send a political signal to show the apparent appearance of monetary autonomy from Israel.” The Palestinians are joining monetary authorities from Sweden to China in examining the potential of national digital currencies as the dwindling use of notes and coins threatens to upend traditional payment methods. The emergence of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin has added to pressure on central banks to ensure they have a viable alternative before unregulated payment forms take over. Barry Topf, former senior adviser to the Bank of Israel governor, agreed that it was very unlikely a Palestinian digital currency would be a real means of exchange. “It's not going to replace the shekel or the dinar or the dollar. It’s certainly not going to be a store of value or a unit of accounting.” A credit crunch has left the Palestinian private sector hurting for money, meanwhile, and the European Investment Bank has pledged $425 million in loans that Milhem wants to channel to small- and medium-sized businesses in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Due to concern money might end up in the hands of Gaza's ruling Hamas movement, considered a terrorist group by the U.S. and Israel, Milhem said all funds will be distributed by PMA-regulated banks. “Our banks implement very strict rules,” he said. “They implement 'know your client' rules. In this case we are not worried.”

Scarface was the crowned king over all the lions in the reserve. Everyone feared him and showed him greetings and appreciation. He was passing between crocodiles without any fear or intimidation, and hyenas feared him and never approached his place of control, as if the legend of the famous movie The Lion King was literally realized in the heart of Africa. The famous lion lost his eyes in 2012 while building his den with his brothers, and he lived with a single eye since that time, and it is also known that he was lame, but that did not detract from his prestige, as all the pictures taken by wildlife photographers of the lion were published and above it the same sentence King Crowned Mara. His behavior with small cubs differed from other lions, as he was close to them and allowed them to play with him at any time, and for this they preserved the beautiful for him, especially his brothers, for he lived throughout his life helping and supporting them, in the last days of his life after he was weakened and no longer able to go out to hunt he took over His brothers are responsible for hunting and feeding him in gratitude for his favor upon them. As he got older, Scarface had risen to the den of a new group of mighty lions, but that did not diminish his prestige, and when he realized that his time had come, that he was about to leave the Maasai Mara and all life, he walked a very long distance to his hometown, On the road, strange things were happening. Whenever he met a group of lions, they would give them portions of their food. The King of Mara ate his last dinner in his hometown, where his brothers gave him parts of a hippopotamus, and then Scar Face left, leaving behind the grief of all his clan members. And everyone started circulating his famous photos and videos about his life to increase his fame and leave the world after he spent a life full of struggle and fulfillment. The coverage covered the news of the death of the famous monkey George, who gained great fame among social media users, and the fact that he has funny videos on “Tik Tok” and “Instagram”, bringing happiness to millions, as published by the British Daily Mail. The report of the British newspaper said that the monkey George lived with a family in Houston, Texas, USA for 10 years, and gained widespread fame on social media platforms thanks to countless cute videos of him playing, eating and opening packages. The report indicated that Jeff, who manages the accounts of the famous monkey on social media, announced the death of the monkey George due to complications after surgery on his teeth. The British newspaper pointed out that the mother-in-law of "Jeff" was the one who adopted the monkey George, who has 17.7 million followers on "Tik Tok", and her goal was to have an animal to support her emotional state and help her overcome her disease CRPS, a painful neurological disorder. The 12-year-old capuchin monkey brought relief not only to her, but to her huge fans on social media, who were quickly heartbroken when they learned that George had died unexpectedly, the report said. In his comment on a video, Jeff wrote: "We have some bad news. George went to the vet to have his teeth checked regularly, and there were complications with anesthesia," and Jeff added to share George's farewell, via his account on Twitter, and share his thoughts about the death of the pet Beloved, he wrote: "I look at George's life and have a lot of feelings, but the only thing I feel is gratitude, I'm grateful for the life he brought to my CRPS mom, and grateful he gave us that.. We love you, George".

Faced with the choice of which of the many trim levels to pilot on the paved-road portion of our much-anticipated first drive in the new Ford Bronco, we went straight for one with the knobby, 35-inch mud-terrain tires that come as part of the optional Sasquatch package. While that might seem counterintuitive, we had full faith that the Bronco would be plenty capable off-road. What we really wanted to know is just how compromised it is on the road, so we figured we might as well start with the variant that makes the most sacrifices for street use. THE BRONCO IS BACK! Door and Roof Removal: Bronco vs. Wrangler 18 Easter Eggs on the 2021 Ford Bronco If you've somehow missed the news or aren't among the nearly 200,000 in line to take delivery, the Bronco is back after a quarter century in two-door and, for the first time, four-door variants. Two-door models come only with a hard top, while four-doors also have a soft-top option. Either way, the top, as well as the doors, fender flares, and even the fenders are easily removable. Propulsion is provided by familiar Ford powertrains: a 300-hp turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder or a 330-hp twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6. Both are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, but only the four can be had with a new seven-speed Getrag manual. There are six trim levels that span base prices of $29,995 to $62,605, plus five outdoorsy trim names (Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak) and a loaded First Edition model. Feature content and off-road capability generally increase as you climb the range, but it's great that even the base version can be had with the hardcore Sasquatch package ($2495 and $4995, depending on trim), which adds locking front and rear differentials, a shorter final-drive ratio, and the big 35-inch rubber. Starting at about 30 mph, those 17-inch LT315/70 Goodyear Territory MT tires—at Ford's insistence, Goodyear scrubbed the Wrangler part of this tire's name from the sidewall—start singing. Between 65 and 70 mph, wind noise overpowers tire rot. Even with the optional layer of extra sound-deadening material on the two-door Wildtrak model's hard top, we wouldn't wager that the Bronco is any quieter at speed than its obvious competitor, the Jeep Wrangler, until we get a chance to measure it on our regular test surface. However, the Bronco's steering precision is miles ahead of the Wrangler's—thanks largely for its more sophisticated independent front suspension and rack-and-pinion steering—even on squirmy off-road-oriented tires. And we say this after having done one of the most inappropriate things one could do with a Bronco outfitted with all of its off-road kit: We threw it down a twisty road at max-attack speed. We're certain we were carrying velocities that would have put a Wrangler in a ditch, and surprisingly, the laughter that ensued wasn't at the absurdly low limits and compromised handling. It was because the Bronco is actually enjoyable to hustle on the road. We were chuckling with the Bronco, not at it. Before we get carried away, remember, we're talking relative refinement here. Big stabs at the brakes bring a dramatic dive from the Sasquatch's softer Bilstein dampers. Body roll when cornering didn't feel excessive, although the setup is still plenty soft. The Bronco's telltale body-on-frame structural dithers come through the steering wheel, but they're quite muted. This first application of Ford's next-generation mid-size-truck platform makes for remarkable refinement, despite the Bronco's off-road bent. Roll into the throttle from rest and, by the top of first gear, the V-6 is taxing the tires sufficiently to instigate traction control, which then steps in even more in the wake of the 1-2 upshift. The power is there—V-6 variants should sprint to 60 mph in the mid- to high five-second range—but we were disappointed there isn't more audible fury. Something more extreme than its muted roar and strong airflow backing track seems appropriate for a vehicle whose logo is a powerful horse at full flail. The Wrangler's naturally aspirated V-6 has better vocals. Conversely, there's a crispness with which the manual's shifter moves into each gate, the clutch-pedal effort is well tuned, and the turbo-four responds enthusiastically to throttle blips during heel-toe downshifts. Although the four-pot emits a less-than-invigorating thrum and is easier to catch off boost, particularly with the manual, it only gives up 30 horses to the V-6.

The time Barcelona fans have long feared has come as Lionel Messi is officially no longer a Blaugrana player, after 7,504 full days at the club, since signing his first contract on a handkerchief. And Messi became free to move to any other club since midnight last night at the end of June, due to the expiration of the last contract he signed with the club. The Spanish newspaper "MARCA" reported that Barcelona club president Joan Laporta had tried, since taking charge, to convince Messi to renew, and wanted to sign the new contract before the end of the last contract, but he could not convince the Argentine star, who is currently leading his country in the Copa America. The newspaper said that the end of Messi's contract already does not mean that he will leave Barcelona, as Camp Nou officials believe that he will sign a new deal, and will continue to wear the blue and red colors, but at this moment - and until this is achieved - Messi is not officially a player in Barcelona. The crushing financial crisis and the club’s huge debts were among the reasons that prevented the signing of a new deal with Messi before his contract expired yesterday, Wednesday, June 30, but the very good relationship between Laporta and Messi’s father and agent may help to overcome this obstacle, with the settlement of some aspects in A new contract that can be settled soon. And Laporta, who urged the fans to remain calm, wants Messi to sign a new deal as soon as possible, because - according to Marca's description - he does not like Messi to be outside Barcelona, even if it is only for a few days, and the club's sponsors do not like that either, Whether they are current sponsors or potential new partners. The Spanish newspaper said that the sportswear company Nike - for example - is looking to promote the new shirt, and they cannot announce it with Messi, at least at this moment. Other sponsors also do not want to sign up for new deals with the club if Messi is not part of the Catalan club's future. The newspaper speculated that it did not appear that another club was ready to try to persuade Messi to sign for him, because the matter has been available since the beginning of this year, but it was no more than just rumours.

Ayurveda is a science that is all-encompassing. According to experts, its guidelines can help improve one's lifestyle. According to ayurvedic practitioner Dr Dixa Bhavsar, Ayurveda gives some "great guidance for eating, especially when it comes to digestion". Here are nine Ayurvedic guidelines you should try to embrace. *Eat only when you are hungry. As in really hungry — that is to say when your previous meal has been completely digested. Sometimes we might think that we are hungry, however, it could only be that we are dehydrated. Be in tune with your body and re-discover how it feels to be really hungry. * Eat in a calm and comfortable place. Sit down when you eat and eat with as little distraction as possible: no tv, no book, no phone, no laptop. *Eat the right quantity. We are all different, with different needs and different stomach sizes and metabolic speeds. Listen to your body and eat only to point when you feel satisfied. 1. Eat only when you are hungry. Ideally freshly cooked but as long as you avoid anything coming out straight from the fridge you'll preserve your digestive power (Agni). This allows your digestive enzymes to work efficiency. 5. Eat quality food. Make sure that your meal is juicy or a little oily as this will facilitate digestion and improve nutrient absorption. Avoid foods which are too dry. 6. Do not eat incompatible food items together. This might lead to an upset stomach. Few of the incompatible foods are fruits & milk, fish & milk, etc. 7. Be present when you eat. Use all your 5 senses. Take time to appreciate the smell of your meal, the look of your plate, the texture of your food, the different flavors, and the sounds that you make when you eat. 8. Don't eat fast. Don't just swallow your food, take your time to chew. Chewing is an essential step of digestion. 9. Eat at a regular time. Nature likes cycles and regularity so you should abide! Egypt recently decided to generalize the application of the new building requirements and the licensing system in all governorates, to regulate the construction process, reduce violations, and set requirements for the height of buildings according to the area of the streets. This step comes in accordance with the Cabinet’s decision issued last April, to start applying the new building requirements and the new licensing system to the cities that were selected for the pilot application, starting from the first of May for a period of two months, provided that it begins in the rest of the cities starting from the beginning of July. The implementation of the requirements, which was scheduled for Thursday, was delayed due to the holiday of the anniversary of the June 30 revolution and the leave of technology centers, to be started from the beginning of this week. On the repercussions of the decision on the real estate market, real estate expert Mohamed Amer explained that: “The new construction requirements recently approved by the Egyptian state will undoubtedly have a strong positive impact on the construction system in Egypt, and will have a great impact, and will be reflected in reducing the percentage of violations in construction.” In his interview with "Sky News Arabia", Amer confirmed that: "Among the objectives of the new system is to reduce the rate of random construction in Egypt in the coming period, as the past years witnessed an increase in the percentage of violating construction, and it was necessary to tighten control over the construction process and set requirements." . The real estate expert enumerated the advantages of the new system, saying: “It will have a strong positive impact on reducing the wastage of economic resources in random construction, and will reduce pressure on many facilities used by those violating buildings, which is a great waste of financial resources generated as a cost for the use of these facilities. ". In turn, the Professor of Urban Planning at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, Mr. Baraka, indicated that: "Among the goals of the new system is to limit the random spread of real estate, and to set harsh building rules that oblige everyone to work to respect the rules and implement the buildings properly." And Baraka told Sky News Arabia that "building on 70 percent of the total land area, with the exception of the citizen who owns an area of less than 175 square meters, will have a great impact in benefiting from the area excluded from construction as green spaces or side streets, which is what It will have an impact in terms of overpo[CENSORED]tion, and it will give the streets a real outlet." The professor of urban planning pointed out that: “The requirement of the new system for the presence of engineering drawings for the land, and the statement of the land from the planning point of view will have a distinct impact in terms of reducing random construction, and the construction of properties that contain means of safety and safety requirements, and it will keep us away from disasters such as Faisal’s property, which remained burning for days." Baraka noted that: "The system's quest to achieve the structural safety of the buildings is very important because it preserves the most important element, which is the human spirit. Therefore, those coming to the building must comply with these requirements and implement them and not play in twisted ways because the state will have a harsh response towards violators." Representative Ahmed al-Sijini, head of the Local Development Committee in the House of Representatives, had confirmed that "the permit, according to the new building requirements, is issued after 60 days, and during the past 70 years, construction operations have been unregulated, and the main streets will be excluded from the requirements for heights in the new building rules." "There is a political will to organize construction, and it will be implemented in all governorates according to flexible rules, and we will ask the government to explain the reasons for excluding some of the main streets, as the state has stood strong in order to organize construction work," al-Sijini continued. Required Documents The new licensing system specified a number of documents for obtaining licenses for any new construction, including a number of copies of engineering drawings for the land with approval from the Egyptian Compound Office, calculating the value of business costs, a copy of the land ownership, as well as a statement of the land in terms of planning or requirements on To be issued by the competent administrative authority. Among the conditions for new building permits, is the issuance of building permits for a period of 3 years instead of one year, and the building permit becomes a binding contract between the state and the owner of the permit, activating the role of the Occupants Union and ensuring full governance of the system for issuing building permits, provided that the system is automated in all governorates of Egypt

The occupation forces suppressed Palestinian protesters with tear gas and stun grenades in the town of Beita (south of Nablus in the West Bank), and bombed a site of the Palestinian factions south of Gaza City, without causing any casualties. Dozens of Palestinians went out in a po[CENSORED]r demonstration towards Mount Sabih after performing Friday prayers; In protest against the settlers' continued establishment of a settlement outpost in the mountain. Israeli sources confirmed that the occupation authorities had reached a settlement with the settler leaders in the West Bank, to evacuate the settlers from the outpost in exchange for the establishment of a religious school and a fixed military base in the place. Friday prayer at a sit-in tent in Silwan On the other hand, the People’s Committee in the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem held Friday prayers in the sit-in tent in the town, as part of the activities condemning the intention of the Israeli occupation authorities to demolish dozens of Palestinian homes under the pretext of unlicensed construction. Seventeen families had received orders to demolish their homes themselves, and the deadline expired at the beginning of this week. The Palestinians in Silwan warn that the occupation will carry out a mass demolition in the coming days. The Palestinians accuse the occupation of seeking to enable settlers to control real estate in the town as part of a policy aimed at besieging Al-Aqsa with projects of Judaization and settlement. Raids on Gaza In the Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes launched a raid targeting a site of the Palestinian factions south of Gaza City, without causing any casualties. Eyewitnesses said that the raid targeted the site with a number of missiles, which led to the outbreak of fire. The Israeli army said it bombed a Hamas weapons manufacturing site in response to incendiary balloons.

It's hard to write about dogs in Tunbridge Wells without appearing to seek to divide. There's been plenty of rowing on social media about dogs in parks recently, prompted by the Courier report on Tunbridge Wells Borough Council's consultation on dogs on some of its land. The consultation asks the public whether or not dogs should be banned on the Nevill Ground and kept on leads in the main part of Dunorlan Park (not the events field) The consultation is underway. A campaign by a dog owner to fight the idea has been promised. The turbulent 'discussions' on social media have been wide ranging: the desire to enjoy the park (dog and non-dog people), how much of a problem dog behavior actually is (polarised views), whether or not dog behavior can be considered Criminal, whether or not 'unruly children' should therefore be on a lead (I think it was a joke), if people have a right to not be scared by dogs and a call to 'see the evidence' of incidents involving dogs. To describe it as a 'war of words' is to over-egg it, but sarcasm, scorn, blame and dismissiveness etc were rife. So far, so knotty. But it can be unravelled. The premise any problems in Tunbridge Wells - whether a pile of dog mess, wildfowl being chased, or a runner being bitten on the leg - are caused by a minority of dogs (and their owners) is surely something everyone can agree upon. And you know what the minority does? That's right, they spoil it for the rest. You learned that at school. How many times did teachers say "You've spoiled it for the rest of the class" or '"Right, you're all missing break because of those two'. They give dog owners a bad name and they spoil things for all of us. I should think people who own dogs find it just as unpalatable stepping in dog mess as the rest of us. And dog owners don't want an ill-tempered off-the-lead dog causing trouble with theirs. I think it's a hard call for the council to make - damned if they do and damned if they don't. But I have had an idea. As I mentioned, someone has mooted an idea of a campaign to ensure dogs can remain off lead. Campaigns sound like work and energy and raising your profile and swaying public opinion. Why not direct that to educating that minority of dog owners who are, as teacher said, 'spoiling it for everyone else'. Make it an education campaign. Win hearts and minds. Make love, not war. Enforcement officers, let's be real, won't be in parks from sunrise to sundown, issuing advice, enforcing the PSPO. Those campaigners could work with the council or the Friends of Dunorlan. Leaflets could be printed explaining what the council already states is a dog 'being out of control' in its parks and grounds. Volunteers could hand them out and walk the dog at the same time. Get better signs for the parks, post on social media, publish an article in the Courier and all this might 'nudge' behaviour. We need to act on the minority because the 'rest of the class' ain't standing for it.

Rimanendo in AC ovviamente.
