New footage from Battlefield 1's first expansion, They Shall Not Pass, has surfaced, thanks to some of its content being available now on the game's Community Test Environment server. Videos from the testing environment have emerged, showcasing one of the four new maps, Fort De Vaux, as well as the new mega-powerful Behemoth, the Char 2C tank, which is based on a real-world French tank. Also on display is one of the brand-new weapons, the Lebel bolt action rifle, which looks like a solid, powerful option a medium range. Take a look at the videos below, but note that some things could change before release. They Shall Not Pass introduces the French army to Battlefield 1. It also adds three other France-set maps: Verdun Heights, Soissons, and Rupture. A mode called Frontlines, which is described as a mixture of Conquest and Rush, is also being added with the expansion. No release date has been announced beyond sometime in March, but people who own the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass ($50) can play it and the other three upcoming expansions two weeks before everyone else can buy them. In other Battlefield 1 news, the game's big Winter update went live earlier this month, introducing a higher level cap for each class, along with a number of bug fixes.

The Injustice 2 closed beta wrapped up this week, and now we know a little more about how much time players put into it and what they achieved. An image published by NetherRealm's Ed Boon shows off some of the stats, including 1.7 million total matches played and 1.6 million pieces of gear dropped. The most matches played by one person was a whopping 3,081. The beta started at the end of January and ended on February 21. You can see all the Injustice 2 beta stats in the image below. Some of the confirmed playable characters for Injustice 2 so far include Swamp Thing, Batman, Blue Beetle, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Deadshot, Gorilla Grodd, Aquaman, Robin, Cheetah, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Black Canary, and Atrocitus. Injustice 2 launches for PS4 and Xbox One on May 16. In other news, an Injustice 2 mobile game has been announced, while a new trailer shows Superman and Batman duking it out.

Dean Hall, who created the po[CENSORED]r zombie game DayZ, is gearing up to announce a new game. Eurogamer reports that Hall will bring this unannounced game to the London-based show EGX Rezzed, where attendees can go hands on with it. Additionally, Hall will host a panel during the show where he will discuss the project and his New Zealand-based studio RocketWerkz. RocketWerkz is not an average studio when it comes to structure and benefits. Hall recently told RadioNZ that he gives his 40 employees unlimited leave and that his salary is only 10 percent more than the highest-paid staffer. Additionally, RocketWerkz has a profit-sharing scheme and reportedly no middle management. Hall will probably discuss this business philosophy during his EGZ Rezzed talk. EGX Rezzed runs March 30 through Sunday, April 1. BioShock designer Ken Levine will provide the opening keynote speech to kick off the show. According to RadioNZ, RocketWerkz has five games in development, including a VR title called Out of Ammo for HTC Vive. Another is the mysterious-looking Ion, which was revealed at E3 2015. Last year, Hall teased some kind of intriguing-sounding multiplayer game, which could be the project that will be shown at EGX Rezzed. As for DayZ, the game remains an Early Access title on Steam, where it's sold over 3 million copies. A PlayStation 4 edition is on the way, but don't expect it anytime soon.
