[Curiosities] Saturn's rings change according to the season
#Steeven.™ posted a topic in Curiosities
Each season on Saturn is longer than seven Earth years. The planets of the solar system have many peculiarities that make them special, although others could share some characteristics, such as the case of Saturn, which _like the Earth_, is tilted on its axis and, therefore, has four seasons. In any case, due to Saturn's much larger orbit, each season lasts approximately seven Earth years. The equinox occurs when the rings are tilted edge-on towards the Sun. Saturn is the sixth planet from our Sun and orbits at a distance of about 1.4 billion kilometers from the Sun. It takes about 29 Earth years to orbit the Sun, making each season on Saturn more than seven Earth years old. Now, new images of Saturn taken by the Hubble Space Telescope herald the start of "lightning season" around its equinox, when enigmatic flashes appear in its rings. The cause of lightning, as well as its seasonal variability, has not yet been fully explained by planetary scientists, indicates Europa Press. The rays disappear as the summer or winter solstice approaches Saturn. (When the Sun appears to reach its highest or lowest latitude in the northern or southern hemisphere of a planet.) As Saturn's northern hemisphere autumnal equinox approaches on May 6, 2025, lightning is expected to become increasingly prominent and observable. The presumed culprit for the lightning strikes is the planet's variable magnetic field. Planetary magnetic fields interact with the solar wind, creating an electrically charged environment (on Earth, when those charged particles hit the atmosphere, this is visible in the northern hemisphere as aurora borealis). Scientists believe that smaller, dust-sized icy particles can also become charged, causing them to temporarily levitate above the rest of the larger icy particles and rocks in the rings. Ring rays were first observed by NASA's Voyager mission in the early 1980s. These mysterious transient features can appear dark or light depending on lighting and viewing angles. "Thanks to Hubble's OPAL program, which is building an archive of data on the outer planets of the solar system, this season we will have more time than ever to study Saturn's rays," said planetary scientist Amy Simon, responsible for from Hubble's OPAL (Outer Planet Atmospheres Legacy) program. Saturn's last equinox occurred in 2009, as NASA's Cassini spacecraft orbited the gas giant planet to reconnoitre it up close. With the Cassini mission completed in 2017, and Voyager spacecraft long since in interstellar space, Hubble continues the long-term work of monitoring changes to Saturn and the other outer planets. "Despite years of excellent observations from the Cassini mission, the precise start and length of the lightning season remains unpredictable, sort of like predicting the first storm during hurricane season," Simon said. Although the other three gas giant planets in our solar system also have ring systems, nothing compares to Saturn's prominent rings, making them a laboratory for studying lightning phenomena. At the moment it is unknown if the rays could be produced or are produced on other ringed planets. "This is a fascinating magic trick of nature that we only see on Saturn, at least for now," says Simon. Hubble's OPAL program will add visual and spectroscopic data, in wavelengths from ultraviolet to near-infrared, to Cassini's archive of observations. Scientists envision putting these pieces together to get a more complete picture of the radium phenomenon and what it reveals about ring physics in general. https://www.eluniverso.com/noticias/internacional/los-anillos-de-saturno-cambian-de-acuerdo-a-la-estacion-nota/ -
Every family must have financial goals and to achieve them the key is in the savings of all its members at home and at work. Every family must have financial goals and to achieve them the key is in the savings of all its members at home and at work. Natalia Garzón, an expert in financial education at Mutualista Pichincha, advises that before you go out to buy food, take a list of the things you will need to buy. So you will not buy unnecessary things. Try to shop after breakfast or lunch, if you are going to buy food when you are hungry, you are likely to buy more than you should. Another advice from the specialist is to try to pay for your food and gasoline purchases in cash, so you do not accumulate credit card debt and you will be more aware of the expense made, because we must count the money. Analyze beforehand if the purchase you are going to make really needs it or if it is a wish that can wait. Do not buy on impulse, it is important to analyze the different product offers that the market has. Do not go shopping when you are not in a good mood, because in situations like this we are more likely to spend. Take advantage of discounts and promotions, nowadays shops offer a lot of variety. Garzón recommends allocating 10% of our income to savings, but if you have many debts, first get out of them and then start saving. Savings are used for everything, we can allocate them to have a fund that protects us from an unforeseen health or accident, from a change in the economic situation; to travel etc. You must allocate 10 percent of your income to savings. Put batteries If you see a discount or promotion, analyze them well before loosening your money. Discuss Family goals should be previously discussed with all its members. Be an example Transmit to your children the habit of saving and the correct management of money. Buy well When you go to the supermarket, always carry a list of the things you really need. Piggy Banks Acquiring one is a good start to establish the habit of saving in the family. https://www.eluniverso.com/noticias/2018/08/17/nota/6910445/propuestas-vencer-despilfarros-empecemos-ahorrar/

Having a companion animal entails responsibilities and, especially if we opt for a puppy, we must know that these are greater. In the specific case of dogs, a puppy can be a very big burden that we may not be prepared for and, therefore, it is important that we know everything we need about their care and demands before acquiring one. To avoid the experience of returning it, here are some ideas from the Royal Canine Society of Spain (RSCE). A lifestyle compatible with care. A dog will live with us for approximately 10 to 15 years. And he will need a lot of care: at least three walks a day, hygiene and food. Also, if your work schedules require a lot of time away from home, if your social life is active enough that you don't devote enough attention to your dog, think about it as many times as necessary. There is no time limit for training How much time should I dedicate to training my puppy to live in harmony? ask many stakeholders. The mere question is a mistake: the answer is something like 'all the time in the world'. Dogs, like human beings, are different from each other and a large part of their temperament is determined by their breed: they get bored, they miss their littermates and their mother, they are stubborn... Do you have time and, above all, patience? Make sure it will integrate into your family A dog is not an object, nor a gift: it is much more. He will be a new member of the family. For this reason, it is necessary to check if the arrival of a puppy is compatible with those who already inhabit the home: other animals, babies who cry at night, a child who does not like animals... Dogs howl at night, do their needs where they shouldn't until they learn, they bite everything they see and cover everything with hair. All these realities must be taken into account. Know the canine laws of your locality Cities adopt their own laws: entry into leisure establishments, workplaces, rules for walkers, prohibitions of some breeds, obligations to wear a muzzle... Canine culture is changing and, increasingly, the guidelines are more dog-friendly, but the laws are there and you have to comply with them. A simple consultation on the Internet can save you many disagreements in the future in your municipality. Do you have the space you need in your home? Living in a chalet on the outskirts of a city is not the same as living in a 30-square-meter studio near our workplace. Some breeds need permanent exercise for their development. Having a nearby garden, park or pine forest can help us. In addition, there are the different regulations imposed by the neighboring communities, in which restrictions can be adopted in buildings for pets. Clarify this before launching yourself to acquire a puppy. Sufficient income for a minimum investment Having a dog is not free. Guaranteeing breeding for more than a decade has a cost, but also the reward of having the best of companies. Hygiene, vets, food, leisure... In the Royal Canine Society of Spain, the estimate is a minimum investment of 1,300 euros per year for a puppy to receive basic care, a figure that may increase in times of inflation. Do you have the necessary income to guarantee this investment? The question is not trivial. The selection of the breed is essential According to data from the Fédération Cynologique Internationale, 92 percent of returned dogs are related to the incompatibility of the breed with its new life. A Husky cannot live in a small apartment, he needs space. Other breeds with moderate activity are more suitable for modest-sized apartments: Golden Retriever, Poodle, Chihuahua, French Bulldog, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Coton de Tulear or Dachshund, for example. There are nearly 400 recognized international dog breeds. Follow our advice and find out beforehand. https://www.20minutos.es/imagenes/animaleros/perros/5110118-estas-preparado-para-tener-un-cachorro/7/

The Lamborghini Revuelto 2024 is the replacement for the Lamborghini Aventador, the model launched in 2012 that followed the saga of the Countach (1971), Diablo (1990) and Murciélago (2006). Like them, it has an atmospheric V12 engine, the house brand of Sant'Agata Bolognese, but now it has a plug-in hybrid system that brings its power up to 10.15 CV. It makes sense then that they identify it, playing with the initials, as a HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) instead of PHEV, (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles). Made on a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, its image is spectacular. The rear is striking, with a very wide and slender tail, thanks to the fact that the gearbox has been placed in a transverse position. In this area, the engine is visible, without a cover of any kind, placed under the third brake light or the double hexagonal exhaust outlet, flanked by the headlamps in the shape of a lying Y. The spoiler is also interesting at the rear. The new Lamborghini Revuelto has active aerodynamics, so it closes at low speeds to use less fuel and then can open in various positions either to reach higher speeds or to have better cornering. The brand indicates that it has 33% more downforce at the front and 74% more at the rear compared to the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae, thanks to the fact that the semi-active suspension helps in this regard. At the front, the Y pattern is repeated in the daytime running lights, and there's no shortage of sharp, ridged front hood. The use of the new chassis allows for better visibility from the inside, which is accessed, of course, through upward-sloping scissor-opening doors. The passenger compartment has not been able to do without screens. There is a vertical arrangement of 8.4 inches and one for the instrument panel, 12.3 inches behind the wheel. The passenger can use a third, a 9.1-inch monitor where you can choose to see the same as the driver or other applications. Multiple elements are controlled from the steering wheel, such as the driving modes, the inclination of the rear wing, the elevation of the car, the indicators or the Launch Control. And although nobody will notice it, but compared to the Aventador it has 8.4 cm more for the legs and more space to place luggage behind the seats (in addition to a small compartment under the front hood, where two cabin suitcases fit of airplaine. Lamborghini Revuelto 2024. Engine The total power of the system of 1,015 CV is achieved by combining a 6.5-liter V12 engine that reaches 825 CV at 9,250 rpm and 725 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, with three electric motors (a rear one of 110 kW –150 CV– and 150 Nm, to offer all-wheel drive and two rear 140 kW –190 CV– and 350 Nm of torque, which each move one wheel to help better cornering and recover energy on deceleration. It debuts an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, mounted transversely as in the Lamborghini Miura, (its predecessors mounted it longitudinally in the central tunnel between the seats). The reason for the change? Place the 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, which supports charges of up to 7 kW of alternating current (in 30 minutes you have a full charge). If someone plans to use it in electric mode, it has a range of 10 km. There are three energy management programs (Recharge, Hybrid and Performance), which can be combined with the driving modes: City: To move in electric mode in the city... at a maximum power of 180 CV and all the parameters in the most comfortable mode. It is normally a front wheel drive and the rear is coupled if necessary. Reverse is always in electric mode. Road: The power rises to 886 hp, the V12 engine always works and the battery always has enough reserve to have the torque vectoring function in the front electric motors. Active aerodynamics are configured to offer maximum stability at high speeds. Sport: It gains power up to 907 hp, the gearbox goes faster and changes gear at higher revs, and the aerodynamics generate more load. Corsa: You have 1,015 hp available, permanent all-wheel drive and torque vectoring are more precise... and you can deactivate the electronic stability and traction controls, in addition to activating Launch Control, by pressing the button in the center of the steering wheel's left rotor for a few seconds. Benefits of the Lamborghini Revuelto? It barely needs 2.5 seconds to complete 0-100 km/h and it exceeds 350 km/h top speed. Lamborghini Revuelto 2024. Equipment If all of the above does not convince you enough, know that the Lamborghini Revuelto offers an infotainment system with automatic updates from the Internet and integrates the Amazon Alexa assistant to control air conditioning, navigation or multimedia by voice commands. It also includes the Lamborghini Unica application, with functions to view the status of the car, fuel level, battery charge, autonomy or location from the mobile. You can open or close doors with the Apple watch and it can notify you in case of theft. In addition, never before has a Lamborghini had so many driving aids like this, with elements such as adaptive cruise control, rear cross traffic alert or active lane change warning. And if all this still does not convince you, there is the Ad Personam program. The customization is almost endless. You can choose its bodywork from 400 colors (and if you don't like any of them, which would be bad luck, you bring them the one you want). And the same with the upholstery, made with an ultralight Corsa-Tex Dinamica microfiber fabric, with 70 shades to choose from. https://noticias.coches.com/lamborghini-revuelto-2024

Research showed that doing three to four minutes of short bursts of vigorous activity throughout the day had a profound health benefit. How much exercise can I really manage to do? That was the question asked by journalist James Gallagher, presenter of BBC Radio 4's Inside Health programme. To answer it, he underwent a series of scientific tests and spoke to various experts. The result of his experiment was encouraging, especially for those who, like him, do not have much time and perhaps a lot of desire to exercise formally every week. What follows is his first-person testimony. In a parallel universe: I practically live by the pool, bike everywhere, and do 10K runs just for fun. But in the real world: I work, have a family, and am a caregiver, so my weekly visit to the pool feels like quite an accomplishment. While it's recommended to get almost two and a half hours (150 minutes) of moderate-intensity exercise each week, about a quarter of the po[CENSORED]tion doesn't even exercise for half an hour. So is there something easier we can aspire to? What is the least amount of exercise that could improve our health? If anyone wants to make exercise advice less intimidating, it's Dr. Zoe Saynor, an assistant professor of clinical exercise physiology at the University of Portsmouth who is also a retired elite rugby player. She's going to help me find an answer. To achieve this I agreed to wear an activity tracker for a week. The results were terrifying. I managed just one minute of vigorous exercise (equivalent to running) every day and 16 minutes of moderate exercise (sort of like a brisk walk) "That's an image we see over and over again in many people living in modern society," says Saynor. So whatever state my body is in is going to depend in large part on that one hour swim I do most weekends. Go faster or go further? If I want to spend less time exercising, but still achieve high results, then the only option is to work harder. “There is clear evidence that if you want to do shorter exercise sessions, they need to be higher intensity,” says Saynor. In the official guide, the alternative to doing 150 minutes of moderate activity is to do 75 minutes of intense activity. High-intensity interval training (HIIT), which involves short but high-intensity bouts of activity, gets a lot of attention. However, Dr. Saynor says that most people can't stick with it because HIIT requires exercise at very vigorous levels. What is the minimum acceptable? When it comes to the minimum amount of exercise that people should get, Dr. Saynor is a firm believer of 5,000 to 6,000 steps per day. And while it's easy to scoff at tips like getting off the bus one stop early or taking a walk during your lunch hour, it seems like they can make all the difference. A study of nearly 80,000 people published in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine (JAMA internal medicine) showed that walking a little more each day reduced the risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease or premature death. That pattern continues until you hit about 10,000 steps a day, but then again, faster steps are worth more than slow ones. “If you don't have time to suddenly do 10,000 steps a day, can you do 5,000 faster then? That would show an improvement in their health,” says Saynor. You don't even need to do formal exercise like going for a run, going to the gym, or swimming to see a noticeable health benefit. A study published in the journal Nature Medicine (Natural Medicine), looked at 25,000 people who do not formally "exercise" but do small, intense bouts of activity in everyday life. These are activities that might seem unremarkable: running to a train, pushing the vacuum cleaner, playing with children or dogs, carrying heavy groceries, or climbing the stairs. Research showed that doing three to four minutes of short bursts of vigorous activity throughout the day had a profound health benefit. “People who do this intermittent activity can reduce the risk of major diseases like heart failure and cancer by up to 50%,” Mark Hamer, a professor of sports and exercise medicine at University College London, tells me. "Over the past decade, the guidelines have slowly moved away from the 30-plus-minute-a-day message toward the 'anything counts' message, and I think these results support that message," he adds. Dive into the water and get fit? If time is still short to achieve this, there may be another way that also sounds much nicer. How about a bath, a jacuzzi or a sauna? I put on my favorite bathing shorts and plunged into some kind of pool of very hot water. This is a precisely controlled experiment, so I couldn't just jump into the water. Researcher Thomas James had to drag me into a pool of 40 degree Celsius water so that only my head and neck were above the water. The key thing is that 40 degrees is higher than my core body temperature (37 degrees Celsius), so the whole time I was there my body was working hard to lose heat. Very quickly I could feel sweat pouring down my forehead, but the rest of my body was just wet and not refreshing. “Hot water is particularly lethal in this regard,” James explains. If I spent too much time in there, I would overheat and die of heat stroke. My heart was pumping harder and faster as I tried to lose heat by bringing the blood closer to the surface of my skin. “Your heart will be working hard, similar to what you would see with light intensity exercise,” he says. “We are seeing reductions in blood pressure, even in healthy people.” The big idea is to improve exercise. "This is a very good way to mimic some of the benefits you get from exercise, but the evidence is pretty clear that exercise is best and that the two together have greater health benefits," says James, adding : “I think this will really play a big role in the future.” So if you go to the gym and then go to the sauna or jacuzzi, you might get a great result. However, the Portsmouth team cautions people to follow the recommendations. "Don't say, 'I'll stay here as long as I can.'" Do it to enjoy it,” says James. The recommendation is usually between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on the type of facility, so it is very important to check beforehand. Obviously, we should all try to get the recommended amount of exercise, but since that's impossible for many of us, it's very comforting to know that significant benefits can be gained simply by doing a little more than we already do. https://www.eluniverso.com/larevista/salud/cual-es-el-minimo-de-ejercicio-que-podemos-hacer-para-mejorar-nuestra-salud-nota/

The mysterious celestial object is located in the constellation of Lyra. The Hubble Space Telescope spotted a celestial object in the Lyra constellation, 390 million light-years from Earth, that defies its classification. When investigating Z 229-15, it sometimes shows up as an active galactic nucleus (an AGN); sometimes like a quasar; and sometimes as a Seyfert galaxy. Which of these is really the Z 229-15? The answer is that it is all of these things at once, because these three definitions have significant overlap, NASA reports. An AGN is a small region at the heart of certain galaxies (called active galaxies) that is much brighter than the stars in the galaxy would be. The additional luminosity is due to the presence of a supermassive black hole in the nucleus of the galaxy, details Europa Press. Material sucked into a black hole doesn't actually fall directly into it, but instead is pulled into a spinning disk, from where it is inexorably drawn into the black hole. This disk of matter gets so hot that it releases a huge amount of energy across the electromagnetic spectrum, and that's what makes AGNs appear so bright. Quasars are a particular type of AGN; they are typically extremely bright and extremely distant from Earth: several hundred million light-years are considered close for a quasar, making Z 229-15 positively local. Often an AGN is so bright that the rest of the galaxy cannot be seen, but Seyfert galaxies are active galaxies that host very bright AGNs (quasars) while the rest of the galaxy is still observable. So Z 229-15 is a Seyfert galaxy containing a quasar, and by definition hosting an AGN. https://www.eluniverso.com/noticias/internacional/telescopio-hubble-capta-un-misterioso-objeto-a-390-millones-de-anos-luz-de-la-tierra-nota/

Shuhei Yoshida thinks both changes will be beneficial One of the great successes of PlayStation during the PS4 era was to take advantage of the gap that opened between the indie scene and Xbox with the console that followed the Xbox 360. During that time, the PS4 was considered the home of the indie and this led to to the creation of specific strategies for the sector, which remain until today. Recently, the head of the division dedicated to it spoke about what's coming for independent developers. PLAYSTATION IS ALREADY THINKING ABOUT INDIES MADE BY AI AND ALSO A PRICE INCREASE During an interview with Gamesindustry.biz, Shuhei Yoshida, head of PlayStation Indies, talked about the changes the scene could experience in the short term. According to the Japanese executive, it is possible that independent developers and publishers will be motivated to charge more for their games now that the industry standard is $70 USD, at least for AAA and the most famous titles in the world. gaming. This change would be positive, according to Yoshida, as gamers have shown that they are willing to pay for a good title: "I think it helps, as it creates more room for indies to price their games. Some quality indie games have a price of $40 USD, and people are happy to pay for that price. On the other hand, Yoshida referred to the advent of artificial intelligence tools and the benefits they could bring for independent developers: "AI tools will be used in the future, not only to create assets, but also for animations, behavior and even debugging. I'm really excited about how game developers will make use of these tools to create some gaming experiences that weren't possible in the past. So I'm a big fan." https://www.levelup.com/noticias/731207/PlayStation-ve-el-futuro-con-indies-hechos-con-IA-y-mas-caros

These are Sonic Dash, Sonic the Hedgehog Classic, and Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom. All three games are free and available on Google Play. Three official video games from the Sonic saga for Android phones have several vulnerabilities, according to the French cybersecurity company Pradeo. These vulnerabilities mean that apps can leak private player data. These are free games available on Google Play. The three games from the Japanese studio SEGA in question are 'Sonic Dash', with more than one hundred million downloads on the platform; 'Sonic the Hedgehog Classic' and 'Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom', both with more than ten million downloads. As Pradeo explains on his blog, video games geolocate the player's position through the GPS of mobile devices. They send the location and other data about the device, such as the phone model, the operating system or the data connection it uses, to external servers. The three applications send the information to eleven remote servers for marketing purposes. That is, it would seek to monetize the games based on ads. Of these servers, three are also identified as not certified. The cybersecurity company speaks of "potential threat". It also ensures that the three video games have other vulnerabilities that would allow the interception of messages sent between the application and the server. SEGA claims to be aware of the issue. In statements to the ZDNet medium, the company ensures that "if any other associated company is collecting, transmitting or using the data in a way that our agreements with said companies or with SEGA Mobile's privacy policy do not allow, we will take immediate corrective actions " . Legendary company in the history of video games, the Japanese company has had a long history of success in both the arcade and console markets. Since the release of the Dreamcast, SEGA has been out of the home console market. In recent years, it has been updating its classic titles to mobile platforms. https://www.20minutos.es/videojuegos/noticia/videojuegos-sonic-android-filtran-datos-jugador-3242787/0/

There has long been a debate as to whether wired or wireless mice are better. Therefore, in this post, we will answer this question. One of the most important peripherals and one that can totally improve the experience of using the computer is the mouse, since it allows you to move between the different interfaces of the operating system. Although, obviously, it is not exempt from flaws, since the mouse can present problems. But beyond that, there has always been a debate among users, who cannot decide whether a cable or wireless one is better. The eternal debate between wired and wireless mice seems to be endless, as some users enjoy the mobility offered by wireless models, while others prefer the autonomy of wired ones. Although for practical purposes, they serve the same purpose and you can optimize them by adjusting their movement speed. So, to try to put an end to this debate about the types of mice, we have prepared this post to tell you which is the best model, although this will not be easy. Features of wired mice To begin, we will address the characteristics of wired mice, or what is the same, their advantages and disadvantages, since they are not perfect devices. This is important to know before making a decision. Although it is impossible to deny that, despite the fact that we are in the age of everything wireless, wired mice are still widely used. This is positive, as it demonstrates its quality and, above all, reliability. When compared to wireless mice, one of the strongest points of the wired models is that they have a great autonomy, since they are connected at all times to the computer via the cable, they do not use a battery. In fact, as long as you have your computer or laptop on, you can also count on the mouse. This is something great, especially if you dedicate many hours of use to the computer, be it for work, leisure or play, because it will never run out of battery. This can be a deal breaker for many users. In addition to that, if you find yourself in the middle of a game, you will not suffer when your battery runs out and turns off, causing you to lose. The benefits of being connected directly to the computer This may seem silly, but many do not realize the important benefit of having this peripheral connected directly to the computer, and not to a Bluetooth module like wireless. In this sense, if at any time you have to access the computer's BIOS, for whatever reason, you should know that wireless peripherals will not work for you, but only those with cable. So if you want to navigate this interface, you must use a wired mouse. This is because the wireless models depend on the operating system to be recognized and the operating system was not loaded when entering the BIOS. You have limited use by wiring Obviously, one of the biggest problems with wired mice is that they are limited to the cable, even if it sounds logical. But this can be an indispensable factor for some users who prefer freedom of movement and scrolling at any distance, since usually with a wired mouse they are only about 80 or 120 cm long. Although this is something that has always been around, it is much more noticeable as a negative aspect now that wireless mice do away with this problem. Not to mention that if you do not take care of the USB cable and connector, it can be damaged. Features of wireless mice They have the best autonomy For some years we have seen an initiative to remove cables from electronic devices, such as keyboards, but also mice. This is for the benefit of the user experience so that it is much more free and comfortable. Although, logically, it also has its negative points. And if you are planning to get one, then you must know all its features to make a proper decision. You can enjoy free use with the wireless mouse To begin, we must point out one of the most obvious advantages of wireless mice, such as being able to use it freely and without depending on the 80 or 120 cm that the wired model offers you. Since wireless mice work via Bluetooth, then you can use it on any surface and anywhere, within its range, but that is much more distance compared to wired models. If what you want is a model that allows you to move freely and without limiting yourself, then you can take a look at this type of wireless mouse. Autonomy is not its strongest point Wireless mice, not relying on cables, use rechargeable batteries inside to work. However, sooner or later, the autonomy will run out and you will have to put it to charge, which may not be a comfortable experience. Although it is true that these mice have improved to the point that they now offer up to 20 or 30 hours of use before charging, it can happen that it is discharged at the worst possible moment, such as when you are in the middle of a game. important. Therefore, before buying any model of wireless mouse, you must make sure of its autonomy, since, depending on this, you may have to put it to charge sooner or later. Wired or wireless mouse: which is better? Now that you know some of the strengths and weaknesses of wired and wireless mice, it's time to move on to trying to answer the question that's been debated for so long: which is better? Although it is true that this is a subjective answer, it will depend on each user and his needs, as well as his pocket, since wireless mice are usually a little more expensive than wired ones. Therefore, it is necessary that you analyze your situation and, based on that, you can make a decision. In our opinion, wireless mice are much more comfortable, as they have evolved to such an extent that they can offer even whole days of autonomy and their latency is very low, so you will not notice a delay between the movement you make and the time it takes to pointer to react. But if you can't afford one of these wireless models, don't worry, as the wired models also have many benefits, the main disadvantage being the little freedom they offer. https://www.mundodeportivo.com/urbantecno/tecnologia/raton-con-cable-vs-raton-sin-cable-cual-es-mejor

The blue light emitted by both mobile and computer screens, in the long term, if we spend many hours using them, ends up affecting our quality of sleep as well as causing eye pain. The number of apps adding support for dark mode is increasing little by little but it still has a long way to go. The same happens with web pages, although these go at a much slower pace. Today, there are very few web pages that synchronize the theme that we have configured on our computer and/or browser to display the content in dark colors, mainly black or gray, instead of the traditional white color. The lack of desire that many web developers have shown when it comes to offering support for dark mode on their web pages, has a very simple solution, a solution that, once again, comes in the form of an extension for Chrome and any other browser based in Chromium like Edge, Opera and Vivaldi among others. The number of extensions available in the Chrome Web Store is vast. Of all those available, below, we show you the best options. Midnight Lizard An interesting option that we also have at our disposal to change the background color of the websites that we visit regularly and that have not yet implemented this option natively is Midnight Lizard, an extension that includes a large number of customization options that allows us to use any background color, not just black. Super Dark Mode We cannot fail to mention Super Dark Mode, an extension that, like the previous one, also offers a wide range of customization options, including the possibility of activating and deactivating it automatically depending on which website we visit or establishing a schedule of operation. Dark Mode – Night Eye The Night Eye extension not only allows us to replace the traditional white background of web pages with black, but also allows us to add a filter to reduce the intensity of the blue light emitted by all screens and which, in addition, It is also capable of modifying the color of the images and icons displayed by darker tones. We must bear in mind that the more options we activate, the consumption of resources will be higher. DarkReader One of the best extensions to automatically change the background color of websites so that it becomes black is Dark Reader, an application that works perfectly on any web page. It even works in web apps like the ones Google makes available to us through Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Other options In addition to these four extensions, within the Chrome Web Store we can download the following as very good options to adapt any website we visit to dark mode. Lunar Reader. If we don't like the black background color on a website, we can use this extension to replace the white color with a yellowish tone similar to the one we can find in the Windows Night Light mode. DarkPDF. This extension is responsible for replacing the white color of PDF files with black in the PDF files that we open with the Chrome browser. Amazing Dark Mode. An application that only allows us to replace the white color with black, without other configuration options. https://www.softzone.es/noticias/programas/dolor-ojos-extensiones-chrome-modo-oscuro/

While NVIDIA does not stop launching in a scaled way the different chips of its Lovelace architecture for the RTX 40, that is to say: AD102, AD103, AD104 and very soon AD106. From the AMD side and its RDNA 3 architecture everything is summed up for the moment in two chips: Navi 31 for the RX 7900 and Navi 33 for the RX 7700. Which brings us to the next question: Where are the graphics cards located? AMD's RX 7800? One of the biggest disappointments, fueled by rumors, was the clock speed that the RX 7900 achieves in the two versions that are on the market, XT and XTX. And it is that the jump from 7 nm to 5 nm for the GCD of the GPU also meant an increase in clock speed, which would be favored by having a much smaller chip. Reality? It was not like that and that led to the following conclusion: the gossips on the network had completely lied about the GHz that the new generation of AMD graphics cards reached. The answer of these? Talk about the fact that the situation had delayed the design of the rest of the range. Where are AMD's RX 7800 graphics cards? That the RX 7000 has a design problem to reach high clock speeds became clear when AMD during CES presented its Navi 33 chip only for laptops, the so-called RX 7700S. However, they are not taking advantage of the non-existence at the moment of the mid-range RTX 40, which, honestly in terms of price, is far from it and continues in the range of a premium product. That is to say, AMD right now has the perfect situation to attack NVIDIA and steal market share, and yet the products do not come out and we have no record of them. Which leads us to the conclusion that it is true that the architecture could have a problem with clock speeds that would have sent both the graphics card version of the Navi 33, the RX 7700, but especially the RX 7800, would have gone back to normal. design table before going into pre-production. Such a problem would not have been something that the Radeon Technology Group would have noticed at the presentation, but much earlier, during the validation phase of the chips. So they would release the RX 7900 XT and XTX to meet the record, as well as the RX 7700 for laptops, and they would have decided to delay the rest of the chips so that they can achieve much higher clock speeds than in the first design. In any case, it can be said that they are late and it is a shame, since the lack of competition from NVIDIA means that prices are too high in the graphics card market. But is there evidence that it is still in development? We know the RX 7800 GPU hasn't been cancelled, so rest assured, we'll eventually see it hit the market. The parts that have not changed with the four MCDs that allow you to have a 256-bit bus for a configuration of 16 GB of GDDR6 memory. It is the main chip that has undergone last-minute changes and we cannot state with absolute certainty what its configuration is. The little that is known is that it will be located between the 32 Compute Units of the Navi 33 chip of the RX 7700 XT and the 96 of the Navi 31 chip of the RX 7900 XTX. The average term would be 64 physical units, but we do not know how many of them will be inactive in the final versions. In any case, it shouldn't take long to see these graphics cards, especially given the fact that their NVIDIA counterparts are already available or are only a few weeks away from being available in stores. https://hardzone.es/noticias/tarjetas-graficas/situacion-amd-rx-7800/

At La Red Zoocial we love all animals, regardless of their color, race or physical condition, for this reason, we believe that adopting a black cat is a good option to bring joy to your home. Human beings who live with cats know that every day with them is full of joy and lots of love. Today, cats are one of the most common and beloved pets in Colombian homes. According to DANE figures, it is estimated that around 40.2% of households in Bogotá have a pet, in 43.7% of cases, a cat. Those responsible for these pets must recognize that there are different breeds of cats and that all of them, believe it or not, are unique and are willing to give a lot of love. For this reason, at La Red Zoocial we tell you 10 curious facts about black cats, which have been the subject of myths and superstitions throughout history. Bastet, one of the goddesses worshiped in ancient Egypt, was commonly portrayed as a woman with the head of a black cat, who always carried an ankh or in other cases a sistrum. Hence these cats were considered sacred. The ancient city of Bubastis (now Zagazig) was dedicated to the cult of Bastet, and hundreds of mummified cats came from this place and were buried in her memory. Bubastis, Saqqara, Tanis, Beni Hassan and Tebas, are some cities with feline cemeteries that, today, are very well cared for. One of the best-known black-furred breeds is the Bombay. Although its name could indicate that it originated in India, it is actually a breed that emerged in the United States in the 1950s. Another myth that exists about black cats is that they are aggressive. Actually, they are kittens that are usually characterized by their sensitivity, the attachment they generate with their caregivers, and their intelligence. In fact, studies confirm that they are more tolerant towards other breeds of cats. In the Middle Ages, when the persecution of women who were accused of witches began, black cats were integrated into this narrative contrary to the dominant thought, which was strongly influenced by religion. From there the association of these animals with bad luck also occurred. In foundations that are dedicated to rescuing and finding homes for pets, black cats are usually the ones that have the greatest difficulty finding an owner. The black color of cats can be present in any feline, it does not matter if it is Creole or purebred. They have their own day: October 27, a date to protect them, end superstitions and promote their adoption. In Germany, a good omen is to come across a black cat. While in Scotland it is considered good luck and abundance. In the south of France there is also a positive belief around black cats: they are called matagot and are known as magic cats or even money cats. They do not require any type of specific care, but due to beliefs, it is recommended that you take special care with them. Protect them! 😻 Names for black cats: Salem. Snape. Evening. Black. Coke. Batman. Onyx. Mickey. Eight ball. Chocolate. https://www.elespectador.com/la-red-zoocial/gatos/gatos-negros-curiosidades-caracteristicas-y-datos-de-estos-felinos-noticias-hoy/

With the pandemic it is necessary to use money wisely. The pandemic and the lack of economic movement in the country have affected citizens in one way or another. Although several families have lost or reduced their source of income, it is important to have control over family finances, thereby allowing the proper flow of money and encouraging savings. One of the great enemies of the family economy are invisible expenses. "These expenses are imperceptible as they are individually small amounts, but together add up to a significant amount each month, causing an imbalance in the family economy," explains Elizabeth Arellano, executive of Produbanco's Learn Financial Education Program. Family finances have some factors such as income, expenses, assets, liabilities and a series of economic risks that can influence the economy. "To keep family finances balanced, it is necessary to follow a complete process, which involves planning, self-assessment, goal setting, execution of certain activities, monitoring, evaluation, and measurement of our movements," says the dean and Professor of Finance at the Universidad del Río, Francisco Parodi. Types of invisible expenses Entertainment: Generally related to products or services that can be dispensed with or contracted in conjunction with other people, for example: video or music streaming platforms, mobile phone packages. “There are also some high expenses on family outings that can be avoided. For example, paying for breakfast, lunch and snacks on a short trip can be expensive for a family of more than three members. However, this money can be saved by bringing food from home and previously purchased healthy snacks”, explains specialist Arellano. Online shopping: “The key is to make the necessary purchases and essential products in a single virtual store. Thus, a single rate is paid for shipping costs and commissions”, says Elizabeth Arellano. In addition, orders to restaurants can be reduced. Impulsive expenses: Here come situations such as the purchase of sweets or clothing that are not necessary. Expenses due to carelessness: "These respond to situations that can be avoided, but when they are not, they generate economic losses," says the Arellano specialist. For example, late payments on credit cards or traffic fines. How to maintain family finances It is recommended to follow the PERC method: Postpone: It consists of postponing expenses or purchases that are not immediate needs. Eliminate: It refers to identifying unnecessary items and allocating them to other productive purposes (lowering the level of debt or creating an emergency fund). Reduce: All the values in which it is possible to reduce the allocated budget, establishing limits for each month. Keep: Necessary expenses such as housing, food, transportation, health, education. Remember that the best way to maintain a healthy economy at home is to plan expenses based on income. This time of pandemic due to the coronavirus has been a situation that has allowed all of humanity to evaluate new possibilities to maintain the economy, especially in homes where jobs have been lost. For this reason, the Arellano specialist advises putting smart consumption into practice, that is, making the right decisions when buying a good or service by comparing and analyzing prices and alternatives. The key is to choose only the essentials and those that offer the best benefits. Avoid impulse purchases, since these generally do not obey a need but a taste or factors such as low price, advertising or recommendation. https://www.eluniverso.com/noticias/economia/consejos-para-administrar-los-5-gastos-invisibles-que-pueden-perjudicar-las-finanzas-del-hogar-nota/

Dogs also want to communicate their emotions through their barking. For dogs, barking is a way to communicate with other dogs, animals, or humans themselves; and even if you think that all their sounds are the same, they are not, because they also vary their volume and intensity and seek to express themselves. In other words, dogs can bark for different reasons, it all depends on the environment and the stimuli they perceive. They will do it in different ways and with different body expressions, so it will be up to you to identify if it is fear, anger, desire to play or hunger, according to specialists. WHY DO SOME PEOPLE BARK AND NOT OTHERS? The first thing to do to try to analyze what your dog is trying to communicate is to observe the context in which the barking occurs. With this base, you will better understand what he wants to express to you. It is worth emphasizing that their repetitive barking could be because they want to indicate that the person who approaches them likes or not. It will be necessary to observe the body attitude of the dog when emitting the sounds and it is also important to look at the attitude of the person to whom the animal dedicates its barking. According to what the Ámbito portal collects from the words of the Spanish veterinarian Felipe Vázquez Montoto, “the same thing happens to dogs as to people. There are people you like better and others you like worse. Well, the same to them. Canines don't like people, so to speak." Going even deeper into the subject, the veterinarian explains that there are determining factors on the perception of dogs about the subject: “Why does he do it? Because he can obey smells, the way he walks, the way people express themselves, their body expression… ”. To conclude, Vázquez comments that these animals are very territorial and that there are simply times when they bark at others because they feel that they are invading their "security zone." Finally, another reason that can be related to these attitudes on the part of dogs has to do with some traumatic experience with that person, which can also include fear or anger. https://elcomercio.pe/respuestas/perros-por-que-les-ladran-solo-a-algunas-personas-revtli-tdex-noticia/

There are few tips as beneficial to health as “stay hydrated”. There are few tips as beneficial to health as “stay hydrated”. Beyond the fact that between 55% and 60% of the composition of the human body is water, the precious liquid is vital for the functioning of our organism. It is essential, for example, to keep joints lubricated, so that cells can feed themselves and to regulate body temperature. It is practically for most of the functions of the organism. But what does “stay hydrated” really mean? At BBC Mundo we decided to investigate this matter and ask an expert about some of the most widespread myths that exist about hydration. Do not be guided only by thirst to know if you are well hydrated Although thirst is the most obvious way for our bodies to tell us that we are low in water levels, it may not be enough since it is an indicator that deteriorates with age and, depending on the circumstances, it may not be the best. all reliable. Thirst is a mechanism that scientists believe occurs in an area of the brain known as the lamina terminalis. A study published in the journal Nature in 2015 -carried out by a group of scientists from Columbia University in New York- showed that when the lamina terminalis was mani[CENSORED]ted in animals, they could be made to avoid water, despite being dehydrated. And the lamina terminalis is in an area of the brain that means that many of its cells are not protected by the blood-brain barrier, which prevents the invasion of, for example, certain types of bacteria, viruses and toxins. This causes the lamina terminalis to suffer greater wear over the years. "The sensation of thirst varies between people and deteriorates as we age," explained Dr. Natalia Dmitrieva, who has just published a study for the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) to BBC Mundo. .UU on the relationship between good hydration and a healthy old age. And because the function of the lamina terminalis can deteriorate, experts recommend creating a hydration habit. “The best way to stay well hydrated is to be actively aware of how much fluid we consume each day,” says Dr. Dmitrieva. The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends basic things like carrying a water bottle with you all day and filling it up or asking for water at restaurants instead of another type of drink, to get used to drinking more water. To be well hydrated, it is usually recommended to drink 8 glasses of water a day, although this amount can vary. “The US National Academies of Medicine, for example, suggest that most women should consume between 6 and 9 glasses (1.5 to 2.2 liters) of fluids per day, and men 8 to 12 glasses (2 to 3 liters)”, commented Dr. Dmitrieva. "These recommendations are created by scientists and medical professionals based on current knowledge about the amount of water needed to maintain a healthy fluid balance." But the truth is that hydration does not only depend on water consumption. There are foods, particularly fruits and vegetables, whose composition is mostly water and which also help to keep us hydrated. And it is that food is our main source of electrolytes, nutrients -such as potassium and magnesium- that are essential to maintain hydration in the body, since they help regulate the chemical reactions that occur inside the cells, in addition to maintaining the balance of fluids between the internal and external part of the same. Foods like bananas, avocados, and yogurt have potassium, while spinach and walnuts are good sources of magnesium. Pay attention to your consumption of alcohol and coffee? If you drink coffee frequently, this news could cheer you up. Caffeine, the compound in coffee that gives you that energy boost, is well known to have diuretic properties. That is, it stimulates the production of urine and the elimination of liquids. But the levels of caffeine we normally consume are too low to cause dehydration, and in some cases, it could have the opposite effect. A study from the School of Sports Sciences at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom concluded that there was no change in the hydration levels of 50 men who consumed between 3 and 6 cups of coffee a day because the body gets used to it. caffeine levels. “The data suggest that coffee, when consumed in moderation by caffeine-accustomed men, has hydrating qualities similar to those of water,” the study says. According to the University of Birmingham, for coffee to have a diuretic effect that can be recorded, a person must drink the equivalent of 5 8oz cups in a day, that is, more than 500mg of caffeine. If it is lower than this, the levels of water consumed with the coffee are greater than the diuretic properties of the caffeine. The same principle can be seen in alcoholic beverages and alcohol percentages. In the case of alcoholic beverages, their potential to dehydrate us depends on the degree of alcohol they contain. A recent study published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition found that drinking high-alcohol spirits caused more dehydration than drinking beer, even when the amount of alcohol consumed was the same. The secret is in the alcohol-water ratio, which in the case of beer is on average 5% vs. 95%, in wine it is 20% vs. 80% and in the case of certain liquors -such as gin and whiskey- it is 40% vs. 60% That is why experts recommend drinking in moderation, and consume plenty of water if you are drinking alcohol with a high alcohol content. And for those who believe that “a beer hydrates”, Dr. Dmitrieva says: “Beer should not be used as a drink for hydration purposes due to the negative effect of alcohol on general health”. Do not substitute water for other drinks to hydrate yourself While it's true that electrolyte drinks can help speed up hydration in certain circumstances—after rapid electrolyte loss through sports activities or during illness, for example—experts agree that when it comes to hydration, “ there is nothing like water”. "Regular people should consume water - not sports drinks - to stay hydrated," the CDC says, adding that the sugars and additives these drinks sometimes contain can increase the risk of obesity and other conditions such as diabetes. And this is especially important in the case of children and adolescents. A 2011 study from the US Academy of Pediatrics clarifies that although “pediatric athletes may benefit from the use of sports drinks that contain carbohydrates, protein, or electrolytes (…) the use of sports drinks instead of water in the sports field or school cafeteria is generally unnecessary for the average child involved in routine physical activity. If someone is bothered by the taste of water, the CDC recommends natural solutions such as adding a few drops of lemon or lime, or promoting the consumption of drinks that do not contain sweeteners of any kind. Dr. Dmitrieva recalls that "there is growing evidence from epidemiological studies linking chronic hypohydration with adverse health outcomes." “Those who are hypohydrated age faster, are 64% more likely to develop chronic diseases later in life, and 21% more likely to die early,” concludes the expert. And this has to do with the components of many drinks that claim to be hydrating, such as sports drinks. https://www.eluniverso.com/larevista/salud/tres-consejos-fundamentales-para-asegurarte-de-que-estas-bien-hidratado-nota/

The authorities seek to compensate the deficit of workers that will exist fifteen years from now. Boosting quality labor in Germany is the purpose of a bill to reform immigration. The proposal, supported by the government of Chancellor Olaf Scholz, will address the obstacles faced by immigrants in the European Union country to obtain employment and housing. Labor Minister Hubertus Heil explained: "Securing our skilled labor base is one of Germany's biggest economic tasks in the coming decades." A study by the Labor Market Research Institute (IAB) confirms the importance of the Heil declaration, since it ensures that the labor market will lose seven million people by 2035, due to the aging of workers. Turning to the German po[CENSORED]tion "will not be enough" to overcome the deficit of workers, Scholz said in Parliament at the beginning of the month. For this reason, the authorities have chosen to relax their immigration policies and attract foreign workers. "With this we lay the foundations for a new start in immigration policy," said Economy Minister Christian Lindner. "Anyone who can contribute to the economic success of the country as a skilled worker will be welcome," the official added. What will the new immigration policy look like? The bill proposes three instances in which a foreign person could legally reside and work in Germany. If you have a professional or university degree recognized by the German government, in addition to an employment contract. If you have two years of professional experience in a relevant sector and a professional or university degree. If you do not have a job offer but have “potential” to find a job: professional qualifications, knowledge of the language, work experience, age. In addition, immigrants could apply for citizenship after five or three years of legal residence in Germany, instead of the eight years currently required. The Council of Ministers also approved an education law that entitles young people to paid training outside of work. While such training lasts, the Federal Labor Agency will pay them 67% of the net salary. https://www.eluniverso.com/noticias/internacional/alemania-relajara-sus-politicas-migratorias-para-atraer-a-trabajadores-que-no-sean-de-la-union-europea-nota/
