Check your "cstrike" folder for an AUTOEXEC.cfg file and just delete it.

This .cfg file tries to connect you directly to a server when you launch de game, and if you don't have an active internet connection it will fail to launch.

This fatal error occured when your net connection is not working and your counter strike setup automatically try to connect a server.

This error crash the game, so to get rid of this problem So watch the full video and find out the solution!

Follow these steps: 

  • Uninstall/reinstall/disable QOC Packet Scheduler
  • Change system.ini [vcache], (i have 3gb of ram so it sould'nt change anything)
  • Disable all kinds of antivir, firewalls. Scanned for spyware
  • Reinstall drivers. Update drivers. Change drivers
  • Change wireless router channel
  • Move computer closer to the wireless router
  • Steam winsock fix
  • Windows repair (not format)
  • Update windows
  • Update wireless router firmware

Follow my steps!

  1. Select condition zero icon and right click and select properties.
  2. Click on Compatibility mode for windows XP Service pack 3.
  3. Click an apply button.
