  1. MUMBAI: Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar entered hospital onFriday as a precautionary measure six days after announcing that he had coronavirus. The 47-year-old “little master” of batting is one of the most high-profile cases of a new pandemic surge in the country of 1.3 billion people. “As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalised,” Tendulkar said on Twitter. “I hope to be back home in a few days. Take care and stay safe everyone.” Tendulkar is adored across India, and fans took to social media to wish their cricket “God” a speedy recovery. Indian Premier League teams like the Delhi Capitals all released messages of goodwill. “Wishing a speedy recovery to the little master,” IPL player Mufaddal Vohra said on Twitter. “Praying for the speedy recovery of Sachin Tendulkar,” said Jay Shah, secretary of the BCCI, India´s national cricket board. Former Pakistan arch-rival Wasim Akram also sent special wishes. “Even when you were 16, you battled world´s best bowlers with guts and aplomb... so I am sure you will hit Covid-19 for a six!” said Akram, who bowled at Tendulkar in his debut series as a 16-year-old. “Recover soon master! Would be great if you celebrate India´s World Cup 2011 anniversary with doctors and hospital staff... do send me a pic!” Three other players who took part in the so-called Road Safety World series, including brothers Yusuf and Irfan Pathan, have also tested positive for the virus.
  2. PUBG Lite, the low-end version of the battle royale game is closing down on April 29. It was introduced in 2019 for entry-level mobile devices. Its developers Krafton via a message on its official website confirmed the news of PUBG Lite's shut down. "We are deeply grateful for the passion and support from the astounding number of PUBG Lite fans that have been with us. During the strenuous times of the Covid-19 pandemic, we hope that PUBG Lite was able to provide our fans a fun way to stay safe," the developer said. The Indian government banned both PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite on September 2 last year. Here’s remembering PUBG, game that changed mobile gaming. 2/5 How much business was done by PUBG Mobile In terms of revenue, PUBG Mobile was the top mobile game worldwide in 2020, data from an analytics firm Sensor Tower had revealed. According to data by Sensor Tower, PUBG Mobile is only behind two other games in terms of downloads.
  3. PARIS (AFP) - First it was snakes, and then the endangered pangolin before badgers were put in the dock. Scientists have been scrutinising a Noah’s Ark of animals to find out whether -- and how -- the coronavirus was transmitted from bats to humans, with the prime suspect changing from one study to another. Cats, dogs, badgers, lions and tigers have also been in the spotlight -- not to mention minks, which have been culled in the millions. After AFP published findings of a report by experts convened by World Health Organization (WHO) Monday, here is a recap of the suspects. Scientists were quick to accuse the bat of being the origin from the time the virus emerged in China in late 2019. A study sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in January 2020 found that Covid-19 was closely related to a strain that exists in bats, who would be the "native host". Bats are hosts for many other strains of coronavirus. But the scientists say that Covid-19 must have passed through an another yet to be identified species known as an "intermediate host". A second study published shortly after in the Journal of Medical Virology fingered snakes as the possible culprit. The report was immediately brushed aside by other experts who said the guilty party was probably a mammal, as was the case with SARS, which came from the civet, a small nocturnal animal prized in China for its meat. Researchers at the South China Agricultural University said in February 2020 the endangered pangolin, a mammal whose scales are used in Chinese medicine, may be the "missing link" between bats and humans. This anteater was one of the wild animals sold at the Huanan market in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, to which most of the first known cases of Covid-19 were linked. But whether the pangolin is the culprit is not known at this stage. A pet dog was quarantined in Hong Kong later that same month after it tested "weak positive" to the virus when its owner was infected. Cases were then reported in cats. Ferrets and hamsters have also tested positive, along with tigers and lions in captivity. Scientists have stressed that domestic animals are vulnerable to the virus but cannot infect humans. Suspicion has also fallen on mink, which are bred for their valuable fur. In June, the WHO said that Dutch workers apparently infected with the coronavirus by minks could be the first known cases of animal-to-human transmission. Cases of Covid in mink farms were then detected in several other European Union countries including Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Spain and Sweden, as well as in the United States. In July tens of thousands of minks were culled in the Netherlands and a month later hundreds of thousands more followed when the government brought forward a total ban on the industry to the end of the year. Denmark -- which had three times more mink than people -- ordered all of the country’s 15 to 17 million minks to be culled in November. Copenhagen warned that the mutation via the mink, dubbed "Cluster 5", could threaten the effectiveness of any future vaccine. A mission of international WHO experts who visited Wuhan had no shortage of suspects, from badgers to raccoons and civets. Their long-awaited report obtained by AFP Monday said it was "likely to very likely" that the virus jumped from bats to humans via an intermediate host, but they were not able to say what that missing link might be. In fact it was also "possible to likely" that the virus jumped directly from bats, they added.
  4. The all-new Toyota Yaris has been named European Car of the Year for 2021! Selected by a jury of 59 automotive journalists from across Europe, the fourth-generation Yaris received the award 21 years after the innovative first generation was named European Car of the Year in 2000, the first Toyota to be crowned with the prestigious title. The Yaris is also constantly recognized by the European jury, with each generation of models, shortlisted for the award. The jury particularly praised Yaris’ hybrid technology, smooth driving, low emissions, and affordable price – illustrating why more than 80% of Yaris customers choose a hybrid powertrain. The Yaris is also recognized for its design, dynamic properties, and class-leading safety. Furthermore, the European Car of the Year jury particularly praised Toyota’s success in rekindling passion for the racing sports car market across Europe, with the launch of the GR Yaris. The European Car of the Year award in 2021 comes just days after the new Yaris was first named the best-selling car in Europe, a clear sign that European buyers are agreeing with the jury of choice for a car of the year! Matt Harrison, Executive Vice President of Toyota Motor Europe: “This is a great honor for Toyota and I would like to thank the jury for their attention and recognition. I would also like to take this opportunity to highlight the passion of our development teams in Europe and Japan. This is the best Yaris ever, and just as Akio Toyoda imagined, it is already bringing a smile to the faces of our customers. ” Toyota has been awarded the European Car of the Year title three times so far. The first-generation Yaris won in 2000, the Prius took the most honors in 2005, and now the Yaris has lifted the trophy again in 2021.
  5. Owing to time constraints or out of sheer lethargy, many of us often tend to skip warm-up exercises before working out. While it may not seem too important, warmups can contribute to your workout. Stressing on the importance of warming up, nutritionist Munmun Ganeriwal recently shared an Instagram post. “Warming up is often overlooked by most people who workout. It seems very basic, but it is as important as the workout itself,” she said. Why? According to Ganeriwal, a well-rounded exercise program consists of warm-up as an important component. “It is intended to literally warm-up the exercising muscles to prepare for the upcoming workout,” she mentioned. Warm-ups allow the body to gradually transit from the resting state to the higher demands (biomechanical, physiological, bio-energetic) of exercise. This means that the heart rate, breathing rate, and core body temperature gradually (and not suddenly) increases, preparing the body and system for physical activity. Duration: An ideal warm-up should at least be 5-10 minutes. Intensity: Low to moderate intensity Mode: Cardio activities like slow walking, slow jog, cycling etc. and muscle endurance activities like shoulder circles, neck rotation etc
  6. ISLAMABAD: After 10 days of quarantine, Prime Minister Imran Khan will be tested for coronavirus today, sources told Geo News on Tuesday. Officials privy to the development say that a National Institute of Health team will collect samples of the PM and the report will be shared in the next six to eight hours. Sources say that the test will be supervised by Special Assistant to PM on Health Dr Faisal Sultan. If the PM’s test result comes negative, he will chair the cabinet meeting in-person on Thursday. Otherwise he will do it via video link. Prime Minister Imran Khan contracts COVID-19 On March 20, Dr Faisal Sultan announced that the premier had tested positive for COVID-19 and was isolating at home. The PM Office, too, confirmed on Twitter that PM Khan had tested positive for coronavirus with a short dua from the Quran. His wife, Pakistan's First Lady Bushra Bibi also tested positive. The premier had received a coronavirus shot two days before he tested positive, the Prime Minister's Office had said. Doctors said the vaccine did not have enough time to be effective and that PM Imran Khan may have contracted the virus a few days prior to developing symptoms for it. After receiving the jab, the prime minister had appealed to the people to continue exercising precaution in view of the third wave of the pandemic.
  7. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the sheer number of subcompact crossovers, mid-sized SUV crossovers, and full-sized SUVs being offered by Lexus these days, you’re not alone. Not to be construed as a bad thing. After all, who doesn’t love options? The Lexus UX 200 is the smallest of the bunch. Smaller than the NX, an upscale RAV4 that’s smaller than the po[CENSORED]r RX. A model that’s less rugged than the GX, which is still smaller than the chart-topping LX. More hatchback than a crossover, the miniature UX 200 is full of standard features. There’s also plenty of personalities and sporty good looks to go around. Wrapped up in that premium Lexus packaging. Ushering in 2021, Lexus has added standard blind-spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alerts on every UX model. An adjustable rear cargo floor allows you to expand cargo capacity from 17 to 22 cubic feet as well. In a vehicle as compact as this, every inch matters. While the UX 250 hybrid delivers better gas mileage and all-wheel-drive, our 200 F Sport model brought a sportier suspension set-up. Plus a sleek gauge cluster and seats with extra sculpting and overall support. The F Sport version takes things even further with special 18-inch alloy wheels, a sporty front and rear bumper, aluminum scuff plates, and sport grill inserts. Whichever model you choose, each brings its own set of pros and cons. Delivering additional options within your already expanded list of vehicles to choose from. Powering the front wheels of the UX 200 F Sport is a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine. Putting all 169 ponies down through a 10-speed CVT transmission. This culminates to acceleration that will not be a strong selling point. The little engine takes on a coarse, strained note at high rpm’s as well. Luckily, the steering feel is much better. The tightened suspension in the F Sport also allowed for good cornering dynamics. A combination that helps the little UX to feel light and nimble, distracting from its lack of actual power. On the inside, Lexus continues to do what it does best. An attractive layout is dominated by upscale materials meant to pamper and impress. Additional options stand at the ready and include heated and ventilated front seats, a heads-up display, dynamic voice command, intuitive parking assist, and an in-house premium sound system. All will undoubtedly enhance the experience even more. The back seat couldn’t be called spacious, but there’s more than you’d expect to find. Lexus has mastered the art of crafting super-stylized, refined SUV-crossovers. With a size and option that will fit every personal preference. There’s plenty of standard safety features and driving assists along for the ride. Plus a strong warranty and that reputation of reliability we’ve all come to expect from Toyota. All with an appealing price-tag and decent gas mileage to boot. The Lexus UX 200 F Sport will indeed be an appealing alternative to rivals like the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA class. But when wasn’t Lexus a thorn in the Germans’ side lately. Price as tested: $42,250.00 , and we welcome to arizona the Lexus UX 200F Sport
  8. The Lifestyle segment’s success has been rewriting the rules in the hospitality sector for several years now. The health crisis hasn’t dampened the segment’s appeal: it is actually seeing the steadiest growth rates in the sector around the planet. As talks continue with Ennismore about creating the world’s biggest lifestyle operator, Accor Lifestyle CEO, Gaurav Bhushan, discusses the changing face of hotels playing in this space and the direction the Ennismore partnership may lead the growing sector. You are head of Accor’s Lifestyle division. How did this Lifestyle journey start, for you personally and for the Group? I have been with Accor for a long time, for 20 years. Before my role now I was Global Head of Development. The Group moved into Lifestyle 10 years ago, when we opened the SO/ Bangkok. People were shocked. It was a bit non-traditional. But it has been one of the most successful hotels because the ambiance, service, style and delivery are so unique. At that point in time, we realised the customer was starting to evolve and that we had to follow the customer. Lifestyle has taken on a whole new meaning. It was a ‘toy’ back then, but it has grown into a serious business with amazing potential. At this point, 25% of our pipeline by value is in this segment. The Lifestyle concept isn’t always clearly demarcated and can be slightly hackneyed at times. What are the main pillars underlying the Lifestyle concept at Accor? Lifestyle hotels typically derive a big portion of their income from F&B and entertainment – it can be between 40 and 50%. This is because they tend to be closely tied to their local communities, and F&B is a very local business, so F&B revenue in these hotels is a very significant part of the total. That isn’t the case for our other brands. This local element is a differentiating factor – again, lifestyle hotels are very plugged into their community. And they have a way of intertwining distinctive design, which often bears a designer’s hallmark, and a more intangible ethos that comes from the background music, fragrances, etc. Their look and feel, and the story they tell, is very much at the heart of what makes a Lifestyle hotel. And they are Accor’s fastest-growing segment today. One of the highlights in 2020 was the start of the talks between Accor and Ennismore with a view to creating a shared Lifestyle platform. Tell us more about Ennismore – its hotels, brands, geographic wingspan and revenue. First of all, Ennismore isn’t a B2C brand or a hotel brand – it’s a B2B brand. And we will be using this brand with our hotel owners, for our business and in our sector. Ennismore is very much part of the Accor ecosystem, but it is operating as an autonomous platform within Accor with its own group of people. We will start with 12 brands and more than 70 hotels, and we will be looking at opportunities to grow and develop more brands. We already have 110 hotels in the pipeline, so this sector is looking at steady growth ahead.
  9. ATLANTA -- The empty middle seat on airplanes, one of the few advantages of pandemic, is about to disappear. Delta Air Lines, the last remaining US airline to keep middle seats unbooked, has lifted that prohibition as of May 1, the company announced Wednesday. It is another sign of a rebound in demand for air travel and greater willingness of people to resume pre-pandemic activities. "As vaccinations become more widespread, consumer demand and behaviors show us that confidence in travel is on the rise and customers are ready to reclaim their lives," said Delta's statement Wednesday. Airlines have insisted that even with the planes fully booked, measures they have taken during the pandemic have greatly reduced the threat of COVID-19 being spread among passengers. Those provisions include frequent exchange of fresh air in the cabin, enhanced cleaning measures and a requirement that passengers wear masks. Expanded vaccine availability factored into Delta's decision. Delta CEO Ed Bastian said the company's research shows that 64% of its pre-pandemic passenger base anticipate having at least dose of the vaccine by May 1. "Don't confuse these actions with a return to 'normal,'" said Bastian in a memo to employees Wednesday. "We're still operating in a pandemic, and many of the changes we've made over the past year, such as strengthening our cleanliness protocols and eliminating change fees, will be permanent. Importantly, masks remain critical to our ability to safely welcome more people onboard our planes, and we remain committed to enforcing these requirements." Delta also announced Wednesday that the credits customers received for canceling flights last year, which were to expire after 12 months, have been extended through the end of 2022. The same is true of any tickets purchased in 2021 that were later canceled. In the early days of the pandemic, when demand for flights ground to a near halt, all the airlines were keeping the middle seats open as a way to promote social distancing and increase customer confidence in flying. But most of the other airlines started filling the seats last summer. Delta's move regarding middle seats is not a surprise given that the airline previously said it would keep the prohibition in place only through April 30. People booking flights on May 1 and later have already seen the middle seat available for seat selection on the Delta website. The airline has not broken down the cost of keeping the seat open longer than other airlines. "It's expensive. No question about it," Bastian told CNN's Poppy Harlow in February. But the cost of keeping the middle seat open is partly offset by higher fares that Delta has been able to charge, he added. The amount that Delta passengers paid on average for every mile traveled in the final three months of 2020 fell only 3% from the pre-pandemic period a year earlier. That's significantly better than that of the other three major US airlines -- American Airlines, United and Southwest -- whose fares declined between 15% and 19%. "People are prioritizing, as they should, their health and safety and comfort as they travel," Bastian told CNN in February. "And we're getting a meaningful premium for travel on Delta." 12. March 25, 2021 -- The new coronavirus variants are not just problems for humans. New research shows they can also infect animals, and for the first time, variants have been able to infect mice, a development that may complicate efforts to rein in the global spread of the virus. In addition, two new studies have implications for pets. Veterinarians in Texas and the United Kingdom have documented infections of B.1.1.7 — the fast-spreading variant first found in the U.K. — in dogs and cats. The animals in the U.K. study also had heart damage, but it's unclear if the damage was caused by the virus or was already there and was found as a result of their infections. Animal studies of coronavirus and its emerging variants are urgent, Sarah Hamer, DVM, a veterinarian and epidemiologist in the Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in College Station, says. She's part of a network of scientists who are swabbing the pets of people who are diagnosed with COVID-19 to find out how often the virus passes from people to animals. The collaboration is part of the CDC’s One Health initiative. One Health aims to tackle infectious diseases by recognizing that people can't be fully protected from pathogens unless animals and the environment are also safeguarded. "Over 70% of emerging diseases of humans have their origins in animal po[CENSORED]tions," Hamer said. "So if we are only focusing on studying disease as it emerges in humans and ignoring where those pathogens have been transmitted or circulating for years, then we might miss the ability to detect early emergence. We might miss the ability to control these diseases before they become problems for human health.” Variants Move to Mice In new work, researchers at the Institut Pasteur in Paris have shown that the B.1.351 and P.1 variants of concern, which were first identified in South Africa and Brazil, respectively, can infect mice, giving the virus a potential new host. Older versions of the virus couldn't infect mice because they weren't able to bind to receptors on their cells. These two variants can. On one hand, that's a good thing, because it will help scientists more easily conduct experiments in mice. Before, if they wanted to do an experiment with coronavirus in mice, they had to use a special strain of mouse that was bred to carry human ACE2 receptors on their lung cells. Now that mice can become naturally infected, any breed will do, making it less costly and time-consuming to study the virus in animals. On the other hand, the idea that the virus could have more and different ways to spread isn't good news. "From the beginning of the epidemic and since human coronaviruses emerged from animals, it has been very important to establish in which species the virus can replicate, in particular the species that live close to humans," said Xavier Montagutelli, DVM, , head of the Mouse Genetics Laboratory at the Institut Pasteur. His study was published as a preprint ahead of peer review on BioRXIV. Once a virus establishes itself within a po[CENSORED]tion of animals, it will continue to spread and change and may eventually be passed back to humans. It's the reason that birds and pigs are closely monitored for influenza viruses. So far, with this coronavirus, only one animal has been found to catch and spread the virus and pass it back to people — farmed mink. Researchers have also documented coronavirus antibodies in escaped mink living near farms in Utah, suggesting the virus has the potential to be transmitted to wild po[CENSORED]tions. And the move of the virus into mice suggests that the virus could establish itself in a po[CENSORED]tion of wild animals that live close to humans. "At this point, we have no evidence that wild mice are infected, or can become infected from humans," Montagutelli said. He added that his findings emphasize the need to regularly test animals for signs of the infection. He said these surveys will need to be updated as more variants emerge. "So far, we've been lucky that our livestock species aren't really susceptible to this," said Scott Weese, DVM, a professor at Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in Canada, who studies emerging infectious diseases that pass between animals and people. While the outbreaks on mink farms have been bad, imagine what would happen, Weese said, if the virus moved to pigs. "If this infects a barn with a few thousand pigs — which is like the mink scenario — but we have a lot more pig farms than mink farms," he said. "With these variants, we have to reset," he said. "We've figured all this about animals and how it spreads or how it doesn't, but now we need to repeat all those studies to make sure it's the same thing." Pets Catch Variants, Too Pets living with people who are infected with SARS-CoV-2 can catch it from their owners, and cats are particularly susceptible, Weese said. Contact tracing studies, which also tested animals for signs of the virus, have found that somewhere between 20% and 50% of cats living with infected people have signs of infection, while 20%-30% of dogs were infected. "It's quite common," for pets to get COVID, Weese said. Now, two new studies have shown that fur babies can also be infected by the newer B.1.1.7 variant. The first study, from researchers at Texas A&M, documented the variant in a dog and a cat from Brazos County, Texas. Neither the older black Lab mix or the older domestic shorthair cat had symptoms of COVID-19. They were tested as part of a project funded by the CDC. Weese said pets are at risk by people who are infected, but they don't seem to play a big role in spreading the disease to humans. So if you have pets, there's no reason to worry that they could bring the virus home to you. You're more likely to be a risk to them. The second study, from a specialty animal hospital in southeast England, documented infection by the B.1.1.7 virus variant in 11 dogs and cats. Most of the pets had unusual symptoms, including inflamed hearts and heart damage. Weese called this study interesting and said its findings deserve more investigation, but he pointed out that the study can't determine whether the infection caused the heart damage, or whether it was already there. "This is a human virus. There's no doubt about it. It can affect other species, but it likes people a lot better," he said. "If you think about the big picture and what is the potential role of animals, pets are pretty low risk," he said.
  13. No, this is not an April Fool's Day. According to our colleagues at Road & Track , the American branch of the brand adopts the “Voltswagen of America” identity . You will have obviously noted the play on words between "Volk" - the people, in German - and the "Volt", difference in electric potential between two points of a circuit The information was confirmed on Tuesday afternoon by VW's official North American Twitter account. “We know 66 is an unusual age for a name change, but we have always been young at heart. Here is Voltswagen. It's like Volkswagen, but with a particular emphasis on electric driving. It starts with our brand new 100% electric ID.4 - available now ”. The info, first revealed by CNBC , was taken from a press release published in error on March 29 on the manufacturer's local media site . This revealed that this change underlined Volkswagen's commitment to “electric mobility”. “ Voltswagen will be inscribed on a badge on all electric models, while combustion vehicles will still bear the VW emblem,” assures CNBC. The dark blue logo would be used on petrol and diesel while a light blue VW would appear on electrics. For now, we do not know whether the initiative concerns - or not - the group's European activities. Nor if it is quite simply a marketing stunt intended to make noise around the launch of the ID.4 . This would not be surprising from a manufacturer who had deliberately scratched his name (in Wolkswagen) on billboards during a France-Brazil football match in 2015. In recent months, the boss of the group - Herbert Diess - has multiplied the signals, indicating a big turn of the mark of Wolfsburg towards the electric one. He even spoke at length with the “king of the VE”, Elon Musk , who came to Germany to supervise the construction of Tesla's European plant. The VW boss recently indicated that his brand would not develop a new thermal block in the next few years. So, change your name, why not ... As long as the client does not "amp" his Latin
  14. Hectic schedules can take a toll on one’s well-being. Hence, it is essential to adopt adequate stress-relief measures to go about your day-to-day life in a holistic way. While working out and eating healthy prove to be immensely beneficial, did you know that quick yet effective breathing technioque can also help you allviate stress? Sharing more about the breathing technique of Bhramari or the bumblebee breath, known as a “grounding pranayama”, ayurvedic practitioner Geeta Vara said, “Simply a heaven-sent technique to bring balance and relief to our stress and anxiety.” How does it work? The vibration of the breath does not allow any thoughts to enter the mind, creating a sense of peace and calm within us, said Vara. “It can help with our focus and concentration as well as soothe the nervous system, throat, and voice. It’s truly blissful,” she said on Instagram. *Push the front flap of the ear with the thumbs to shut out outer noise, close the eyes and cover with the fingers. *Take a deep inhalation to your natural full lung capacity and as you exhale a long and slow breath, produce a deep bumblebee humming sound. *Allow the vibration to fill your entire upper body (head, throat, chest and abdomen). *Repeat 8-10 times.
  15. BTS have called out to end racist hate crimes against Asian people which has been prevalent as of recently due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The widely loved group took to their social media accounts to share a message in Korean and English demanding the end of anti-Asian violence. They also penned their own painful experiences with being subjected to racism. "We send our deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones," the statement read. "We feel grief and anger. We recall moments when we faced discrimination as Asians. We have endured expletives without reason and were mocked for the way we look. We were even asked why Asians spoke in English. "We cannot put into words the pain of becoming the subject of hatred and violence for such a reason. Our own experiences are inconsequential compared to the events that have occurred over the past few weeks. But these experiences were enough to make us feel powerless and chip away our self-esteem."
  16. New Peugeot 308: it has been transformed into an RCZ coupé - It has been more than six years since the iconic Lion coupé left the catalog. Despite the success it met, regularly allowing itself to lead the Audi TT in terms of sales, at European level, Peugeot preferred not to follow up on this project . Badly in the early 2010s, the French manufacturer had other (big) fish to fry to save his skin, rather than developing a niche model. What's more, the global industry was also feeling the tide, given the growing disaffection with this type of architecture.. So much so that Audi today gives up offering offspring to its coupe, preferring to focus on the development of SUVs and on the electrification of its future models. Peugeot, despite its good commercial results, is also not inclined to resurrect the RCZ coupe. This is the reason why Auto-Moto has undertaken to revive it, in a virtual way , on the occasion of the revelation of the new generation of 308 Remember, in 2007, Peugeot unveiled the replacement for the 307, logically named 308, a compact that looks like a “minivan” which was not really predestined to turn into a coupe. However, a few months after its revelation, it created the event at the Frankfurt Motor Show by lifting the veil on the 308 RCZ concept , unanimously praised for its style. Three years later, finally giving up the patronymic 308, the RCZ coupe materialized in the street, until almost 68,000 copies were sold in the space of 5 years. Rather weak in performance (200 hp max) , it was not until the very end of his career that he adopted a cavalry at the height of his rank, via the exciting R version of 270 hp Other times, other manners. In 2021, the new Peugeot 308, despite the dynamism it shows, refuses any sporting career . She who has just buried the previous generation of GTi, plans even less to turn into a coupe. By 2022, it will prefer to give birth to an SUV cut to cut croupiers to the Renault Arkana , and focus on plug-in hybrid engines to offer acceptable performance . But, whether in sedan or SUV, the new 308 will ignore the PSE (Peugeot Sport Engineered) version so much hoped for after the launch of the 508 of the same name. 19. Just like there are no shortcuts to acing exams, there are no shortcuts to a good diet that can help you stay focused. Now, with the exam fever catching up, nutrition experts suggest making a few diet tweaks that can help your stomach feel full and also boost memory. Celebrity nutritionist Munmun Ganeriwal recently took to Instagram to share quick nutrition tips for those appearing for their exams. Here’s what she said: “March-April is exams season in India. Eating the right food before the exams not only helps boost the memory but also helps in keeping calm in stressful times. Ensure your best self on exam day. Packaged foods like cereals and instant oats contain synthetic molecules that are not recognised by our bodies and brain. Eating them will make the body feel dull and sluggish. Instead have fresh poha, upma etc. Ghee Rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, ghee boosts memory power and improves cognitive function. Include one teaspoon of ghee each with breakfast-lunch-dinner. Curd The live bacteria in curd acts in the gut and enhances the release of the happy hormone serotonin that helps to control stress levels during exams. “Do not miss the ‘dahi-shakkar’ before appearing for exams,” said Ganeriwal, referring to the ritual of eating curd with sugar that many Indian families follow just before stepping out for any important work. Sugar re-energises the body and brain and provides the mental ability and energy needed for a long-duration study. Choose laddoos, chikki, kokam/lemon sherbets to keep the blood sugar levels stable. Rice Rice being prebiotic helps to keep the stomach light, keeps away the feeling of bloating, induces good sleep, and makes sure you wake up feeling fresh the next day. Eat dal, rice, khichdi, ghee, curd rice for dinner, mentioned Ganeriwal.
