Developer Sucker Punch Productions has revealed that the first raid for Ghost of Tsushima's new Legends multiplayer mode kicks off on October 30 for PlayStation 4. The raid, titled The Tale of Iyo, is a three-chapter mission that puts players directly into the heart of Iyo's realm. Players need a minimum Ki level of 100 and a full team of four Ghosts to tackle the raid. Sucker Punch recommends players finish Legends' story and survival missions on higher difficulties in order to obtain better gear. Doing so will get players raid-ready. Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Raid Start Time An exact start time for The Tale of Iyo has not been confirmed as of yet. Sucker Punch said it will provide more details on its official Twitter account closer to the launch of the raid. Now Playing: Ghost of Tsushima: Legends - Gold Difficulty Assassin Gameplay The studio also announced new weekly challenge missions that go live every Friday starting at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET. There will be a 2-player story mission and 4-player survival challenge with specific modifiers that will reward successful players with max-level gear and spots on the weekly leaderboards. The missions themselves are set on Nightmare difficulty, though. Legends has been pretty po[CENSORED]r among Ghost of Tsushima fans despite only being out for about a week, launching as a free update on October 16. According to Sucker Punch, the multiplayer mode has seen over two million matches played using online matchmaking. The game will also be supported on PS5 with a performance boost. You'll see higher frame rates, which should make the combat feel even smoother. In related news, Sucker Punch just rolled out patch 1.13 for Ghost of Tsushima, which fixes a handful of bugs and other issues. Sucker Punch is also looking for writers interested in feudal Japan. According to a recent job listing, it looks like the team wants to expand on its new franchise. Ghost of Tsushima's single-player campaign scored a 7/10 in GameSpot's review. "The game hits a lot of fantastic cinematic highs, and those ultimately lift it above the trappings of its familiar open-world quest design and all the innate weaknesses that come with it," wrote reviewer Edmond Tran, "but those imperfections and dull edges are definitely still there."

Even though Prime Day has passed, we're still seeing great deals on SSDs (including some of the best SSDs) and hard drives, not only from Amazon but also from competitors such as Newegg. With the holidays approaching and SSD prices falling, this is a good time to upgrade your storage, whether it's adding a speedy new boot drive or adding a secondary drive that increases your capacity. This is also a great time to look for savings on external drives you can use for back up or transferring data between computers. If you don't already have a large external hard drive or SSD, you really should get one in order to do full system backups or just keep your important files somewhere besides the cloud. Below, we've listed the best SSD deals that are available right now from any store on the web. Also, don't forget to check out our lists of the best tech deals overall, best computer monitor deals and best gaming PC deals. SSD Deals: What to Look For Manufacturer - If you find a deal that's too good to be true from an unknown manufacturer, it's usually best to pass on it and hold out for a more reputable brand. 2.5-inch or M.2? Most internal SSDs are either 2.5-inch or M.2 form factor. 2.5-inch drives connect to SATA ports and can replace old-school mechanical hard drives. M.2 drives look like RAM sticks and plug into dedicated M.2 ports. SATA or NVMe? SSDs either use the SATA or NVMe interface, with the latter being as much as six times faster. However, you need to know which your PC supports. All 2.5-inch drives are SATA, but M.2 drives could be either NVMe or SATA interface. Capacity: 1TB seems to be the sweet spot for price and performance with decent NVMe drives going of around $100 or less and high-performance ones in the sub $150 range. You can save money with a 512GB drive or, for an older PC with limited needs, a 256GB unit is dirt cheap. SSD Deal Tips Each SSD deal listed below was individually verified to ensure value. But don't just take our word for it- there are tools you can use to improve your research game. We recommend using third-party applications to help research price history and compare SSD prices between vendors. Google Shopping and PCPartPicker provide useful comparison data, while CamelCamelCamel is ideal for checking Amazon price history. Using these websites will help make sure any deals you find are genuine.

Stream ripping is extremely commonplace online, with a host of websites offering their services to anyone that wants to download music illegally from streaming platforms. As with other forms of online privacy, law enforcement always seems to be one step behind, with YouTube download sites popping up as quickly as they are taken down. Nevertheless, despite fighting what seems to be a losing battle, it seems that the music industry and YouTube are trying to get serious when it comes to stream ripping. In conversation with a prominent, anonymous stream ripper, website TorrentFreak found out about the legal action that YouTube is taking and how rippers are responding. “There are two types of ‘purges,’” the anonymous source explained. “The first one is ongoing; if YouTube notices too many requests coming from a single IP address – it blocks that IP. The second type is the ‘grand purge’ which sometimes happens daily, and sometimes two or three times a week.” The best YouTube downloader The best VPN service available The best VPN router for your business A losing battle To counteract these purges, stream rippers are using huge quantities of proxies to evade detection. Sometimes, larger rippers will be removed from search results by Google, requiring them to change URL. Although YouTube doesn’t make information regarding its ongoing battle with rippers public, it’s clear that the fight continues behind the scenes. Today, many rippers have multiple sites ready for when one is eventually de-listed. At that point, they simply move on to the next one. “I don’t think the delisting requests have had an impact on the overall use of MP3 rippers,” TorrentFreak’s source continued. “Maybe for a few weeks in the very beginning perhaps, when a big site would experience delisting for the first time and spend a few days figuring out what was happening. And even then it would only affect these certain delisted sites.” As with torrenting and other forms of online piracy, it seems that the legal channels are struggling to adapt to the online ecosystem. For now, it seems like stream rippers are winning the battle against the tech giants.

Telecommuting continues to remain a norm for many workers as 2020 reaches its end, with some companies even declaring that it might remain even once the pandemic dies down. With that, webcams from well-known manufacturers like Logitech and Razer have flown off the shelves, leaving the rest of us to stick to products from lesser-known competitors. We’ve been maintaining a list of the best webcams to buy now that the whole category has become a bit of a free-for-all, and now our #2 recommendation on that list- the 4K Looca webcam- is on sale for $50 at Amazon. The 4K Looca webcam is an 8 megapixel camera with a video resolution of 3840 x 2160 and an FOV of 75 degrees. In testing, we found that its images are much clearer than most of the other webcams on the market right now, with the only drawback being that it zooms in heavily on your face. That can actually be a plus for videoconferences, though, and the webcam’s mostly spot-on color accuracy and included tripod only make the deal better. 4K Looca webcam: was $69.99 now $49.99 @ Amazon The Looca 4K webcam is currently $20 with a coupon on Amazon, which would already be a good deal even if we weren’t in a pandemic. But right now, its high resolution 8 megapixel camera is one of the clearer webcam options that is still readily available.

Microsoft has announced the availability of the Microsoft Edge Dev Channel for Linux. The company brought its new Chromium-based Edge browser to macOS earlier this year, and with this release, the software giant's Edge browser is now available on all major platforms including Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and now Linux. This means that developers will be able to build and test their websites with the same web platform and tools available on macOS and Windows using their preferred environment. In its current form, Microsoft Edge for Linux supports a number of the most po[CENSORED]r Linux distros including Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora and openSUSE. Going forward Microsoft plans to release weekly builds as it does for its other Dev Channel releases. We've put together a list of the best Linux distros around These are the best anonymous browsers on the market Also check our roundup of the best Linux VPN As the first version of Edge for Linux is a preview build, some end user features and services have not yet been fully enabled including the ability to sign in to Edge using a Microsoft or AAD account as well as other features such as syncing settings and favorites which require users to sign in. However, these features will be made available in a future preview. Installing Microsoft Edge on Linux According to Microsoft, there are two ways for users to get started using Edge on Linux though the simplest way is to download and install either a .deb or .rpm package directly from the Microsoft Edge Insider site. Doing so will automatically configure your system to receive future updates when they become available. Alternatively, users can install Microsoft Edge from the company's Linux Software Repository using their distribution's standard package management tools. This can be done by following the “Command line installation” instructions on the Microsoft Edge Insider site which are available for Debian/Ubuntu or Fedora/openSUSE. While Linux users can begin testing out Microsoft Edge on their systems, security researchers can begin searching for and submitting vulnerabilities to the company's new Microsoft Edge Bounty Program. Eligible bug bounties can earn researchers anywhere from $1,000 to $30,000 depending on the severity of the vulnerabilities they find in Edge for Linux. Since releasing Chromium-based Edge back in January, Microsoft has continually updated the new version of its browser with additional features and now that Edge is available for Linux, it will likely get the same treatment over the coming months.

Musician Name : Eberhard Weber Birthday / Location : Born : 22 January 1940 (age 80) - Stuttgart, Germany Main instrument : Electric upright bass - Double bass, cello Musician Picture : Musician Awards & Nominations : Albert Mangelsdorff-Preis Best Performance : The Colours of Chloë Other Information : Weber began recording in the early 1960s, and released The Colours of Chloë (ECM 1042), his first record under his own name, in 1973.[1] In addition to his career as a musician, he also worked for many years as a television and theater director. He has designed an electric-acoustic bass with an additional string tuned to C. Weber's music, often in a melancholic tone, frequently utilizes ostinatos, yet is highly organized in its colouring and attention to detail. He was an early proponent of the solid-body electric double bass, which he has played regularly since the early 1970s. From the early 1960s to the early 1970s, Weber's closest musical association was with pianist Wolfgang Dauner. Their many mutual projects were diverse, from mainstream jazz to jazz-rock fusion to avant-garde sound experiments. During this period, Weber also played and recorded with pianists Hampton Hawes and Mal Waldron, guitarists Baden Powell de Aquino and Joe Pass, The Mike Gibbs Orchestra, violinist Stephane Grappelli, and many others.

Acer is getting into the fan business. The company announced on its Next@Acer stream today that it will be selling its Predator FrostBlade fans as standalone products for PC builders. The fans on sale will be of the 120 mm size and will work with RGB and addressable RGB lighting. The fans will currently only be sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. As of this writing, Acer didn't have specific pricing, though it was said on the stream that the fans could be expected in November. The 120mm fans have anti-vibration padding in Predator blue, and use hydrodynamic bearings with what Acer calls a "bionic" fan-blade design. In a chart shown during the presentation, Acer claimed to have higher airflow than unnamed competitors, while also being competitive on static pressure. We've only previously seen Acer's own fans in its Predator line of desktops, so we'll see if Acer chooses to make other parts available in due time.

The AMD Radeon Pro V7350X2 might not have made it to the market, and even if it had it wouldn't have been one of the best graphics cards. However, someone clearly has a working sample and is playing with it. Hardware detective @Komachi_Ensaka recently uncovered GFXBench 5.0 benchmarks for the never-released graphics card. As the name clearly suggests, AMD tailored the Radeon Pro V7350X2 toward the professional and workstation markets. The graphics card existed in an age where slapping two GPUs onto a single PCB to bolster the overall performance was more acceptable. For this same reason, the Radeon Pro V7350X2 reportedly leveraged not just one but two Ellesmere (aka, RX 480) dies, which GlobalFoundries fabricated for AMD on the 14nm process node. Individually, the each GPU looked mundane with just 2,304 Stream Processors (SPs) and 16GB of GDDR5 memory. In unison, however, the Radeon Pro V7350X2 had 4,608 SPs and 32GB of GDDR5 memory at its disposal. The memory was clocked at 7 Gbps and, across a 256-bit memory interface, put out a memory bandwidth up to 224 GBps. The Radeon Pro V7350X2 might date back to the Polaris days, but the dual-GPU could probably hold its own against today's more modern offerings. Actually, the Radeon Pro V7350X2's performance isn't too bad. Out of the 11 available results from the GFXBench 5.0 onscreen tests, the Radeon Pro V7350X2 outpaced the Navi-powered Radeon Pro W5500 in four of them, so it wasn't a completely one-sided victory. Certainly, the Radeon Pro V7350X2 looks outdated beside the Radeon Pro W5500 considering that the dual-GPU has more than three times the number of SPs and up to four times the memory. Not to mention that the Radeon Pro V7350X2 seemingly has a 200W TDP (thermal design power), while the Radeon Pro W5500 only carries a 125W rating. However, we have to bear in mind that AMD's Ellesmere is based on the old-school Polaris graphics architecture. Obviously, its performance and power efficiency are nowhere near what Navi offers. If it did, AMD wouldn't be where it is right now in the graphics game. Radeon Pro V7350X2 isn't something that anyone would pick up in this day and age, and it's not like the graphics card is widely available anyways. It was still interesting to see what kind of performance the Radeon Pro V7350X2 would have brought to the table if AMD didn't get cold feet.

The 1988 adventure Willow was George Lucas's next big fantasy movie after he'd wrapped up the Star Wars trilogy five years earlier. Although the film wasn't a big box office hit at the time, it has since developed a cult following, and there have been various rumors of a potential sequel over the years. It's now been confirmed that Disney+ is making Willow TV show. As reported by Variety, the Willow series will be set many years after the film and will once again star Warwick Davis as Willow Ufgood, the film's heroic main character. Ron Howard, who directed the movie, will executive produce, while Crazy Rich Asians director Jon M. Chu will helm the pilot. The showrunners will be Jonathan Kasdan, who co-wrote Howard's Star Wars spin-off Solo, and Wendy Mericle, who was co-showrunner on The CW's Arrow. The show will start production next year. Now Playing: Disney Plus: 9 Great '80s Movies To Watch In a statement, Chu said, "Growing up in the '80s, Willow has had a profound effect on me. The story of the bravest heroes in the least likely places allowed me, an Asian-American kid growing up in a Chinese restaurant looking to go to Hollywood, to believe in the power of our own will, determination and of course, inner magic. So the fact that I get to work with my heroes from Kathleen Kennedy to Ron Howard is bigger than a dream come-true. It's a bucket-list moment for me. Jon Kasdan and Wendy Mericle have added such groundbreaking new characters and delightful surprises to this timeless story that I can't wait for the world to come along on this epic journey with us." Willow also starred Val Kilmer and Joanne Whalley, and focused on a quest to save a baby from an evil queen. The movie grossed $137.6 million worldwide from a reported $35 million budget. Discussions of a potential follow-up go back as far as 2005, when Lucas expressed an interest in making a Willow show. In 2018, Howard stated that there had been discussions about making a sequel. In related news, The Mandalorian Season 2 premieres on Disney+ on October 30. A new trailer for the second season of the hit Star Wars show was revealed earlier this week. In addition, star Pedro Pascal and showrunner Jon Favreau have both weighed in on the possibility of a Mandalorian movie.

As we gear up for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070’s October 29th launch, Asus has updated its store page with specs for its non-OC (or non-overclocked) RTX 3070 models, including the RGB triple-fan ROG Strix Gaming unit. There are three non-OC Asus RTX 3070 GPUs overall, and despite different shrouds, aesthetics and cooling approaches, they all have a 1755 MHz boost clock and 8GB of GDDR6 memory running at a 14 Gbps speed. Asus RTX 3070 8GB ROG Strix The most visually impressive of the three cards is the Asus RTX 3070 8GB ROG Strix. This unit has three fans and RGB throughout, though that makes it fairly large. It takes up 2.9 slots and is 12.53 inches long. Asus RTX 3070 8GB TUF If RGB isn’t your main thing, you can also opt for the Asus RTX 2070 8GB TUF, which also has three fans. The width here is 2.7 slots and the card is a little shorter than its Strix cousin at 11.81 inches long. There is still RGB here, though it’s relegated to one corner of the card. Asus RTX 3070 8GB Dual Finally, there’s the Asus RTX 3070 8GB Dual, which has just two fans. This card also occupies 2.7 slots, but keeping the cooling design to two fans means it comes in at just 10.51 inches long. There’s also a physical switch on this card to choose between high and low fan speeds, and one of the card’s corners also has an LED strip for decoration. The Dual also has an OC version on the way, though Asus has yet to announce its clock speed specs. All of these cards are also compatible with Asus’ GPU Tweak II software, which is how you’ll adjust the cards' overclocking settings. Keep up with RTX card info as it drops by checking our guide on where and how to buy RTX 3000 series cards.

Basecamp, a po[CENSORED]r project management tool, is being used by cyberattackers in a variety of ways, according to new security research. As well as being used to distribute the BazarLoader malware, it is also being employed as part of a number of phishing campaigns. Threat actors are using public Basecamp links to host BazarLoader executables disguised as genuine Basecamp links. Once installed, BazarLoader allows other cyberattackers to infiltrate a network with the ultimate goal of unleashing the Ryuk ransomware. The BazarLoader trojan, sometimes spelt BazaLoader, has hit the headlines this year as part of several notable malware campaigns. It has previously been linked to a phishing campaign that sought to trick victims with false claims about US President Donal Trump’s health. We've put together a list of the best malware removal software The best endpoint protection software available We've also highlighted the best antivirus software Go phish The trustworthy reputation that Basecamp enjoys is also being used as part of a phishing campaign. Cybersecurity firm Cyjax has discovered that attackers are using Basecamp to host webpages that redirect unsuspecting online users to phishing landing pages. Many security solutions will view the webpages as being safe if Basecamp is used as an intermediary. “This technique is effective because Basecamp and Google Cloud hosting are often used for business operations and are regarded as safe by default by most detection systems,” security researcher William Thomas explained. “Cloud platforms also preserve the anonymity of their users and can be set up in no time at all. They are difficult for human SOC analysts to recognize as a threat because the traffic to and from these services appears legitimate.” More importantly, Basecamp pages can easily be edited, allowing threat actors to shift tactics when security solutions do eventually catch up with them. By altering a Basecamp intermediary page and redirecting victims to a different phishing landing site, cybercriminals can keep modifying a campaign to avoid detection.
