  1. AMD’s upcoming enthusiast 16 core Ryzen “Threadripper” CPUs and the next generation high-end “Whitehaven” platform will reportedly launch on a monstrous 4094 pin socket shared with AMD’s 32 core Naples parts. The brand new enthusiast Threadripper Ryzen lineup and Whitehaven platform will debut at Computex at the beginning of next month. AMD Debuting Monstrous 16 Core Threadripper CPUs & SP3r2 Socket For Brand New Enthusiast “Whitehaven” Platform Threadripper CPUs will reportedly be compatible with a modified version of AMD’s SP3 server socket designed for its upcoming Naples server parts. The Threadripper SP3r2 socket shares the same physical specifications and pin count of SP3 with some differences in maximum thermal design power and some minor technicalities in PCB implementation. The primary difference between the two being that SP3 sockets will also be available in dual socket server boards, while the SP3r2 socket will only be available on single socket boards.

  3. Apple's iOS 11 update marks the tenth anniversary of the iPhone, and it's poised to grace a completely redesigned iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The iOS 11 release date therefore has tremendous hype surrounding it, and we should see the first iOS 11 features this summer in beta form. Apple's still refining iOS 10 with the recent iOS 10.3.2 beta update, but we're already looking forward to the iOS 11 Developer Preview at WWDC 2017. Here's all the iOS 11 news and rumors that we've found, along with features that we hope are at the top of Apple’s priorities list. However, we expect to see iOS 11 unveiled at WWDC on June 5, 2017 at Apple's big keynote in San Jose. That's when we believe Apple will preview the first iOS features. Just don't expect iOS 11 to be finished by then. With betas (including a public beta every July) there are several iterations over the course of three months. Again, this is all based on past iOS releases rather than any news or rumors, but there’s no reason to think Apple will change its rock-solid schedule.
  4. A liquid cooled dual GPU Radeon RX Vega graphics card has been spotted in a brand new Linux driver released by AMD yesterday. Linux drivers have consistently proven to be an invaluable source of information regarding the company’s upcoming next generation Vega graphics products. The just released update to the open-source Linux graphics driver stack contains some very revealing code pertaining to the company’s latest and greatest graphics chips. The two lines of code above have been added to AMD’s Linux open-source driver stack yesterday, alongside two brand new Vega device IDs. The new Vega 10 IDs are 0x6864 and 0x6868 and seeing as how they’ve been added this close to launch the new IDs very likely pertain to actual finalized or near finalized Vega graphics boards. Now, back to the dual GPU Vega board. Digging deeper into the Vega 10 power management and temperature sensor code reveals another gem.
  5. Good luck!

    Have nice exams :)

  6. Turkey's deputy prime minister says the US decision to supply weapons to Kurdish fighters battling Islamic State militants in Syria is "unacceptable". Arming the Po[CENSORED]r Protection Units (YPG) would "not be beneficial", Nurettin Canikli told A Haber TV. Ankara says the YPG is an extension of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), designated a terrorist group by the US. The PKK insurgency to secure Kurdish autonomy in Turkey has killed thousands of people. Washington says the YPG is essential to the operation to capture the IS stronghold of Raqqa. The YPG leads the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), an alliance of Kurdish and Arab militias that has driven IS militants from about 6,000 sq km (2,300 sq miles) of northern Syria over the past two years with the help of US-led coalition air strikes
