Our colleagues from IGN have released the first official gameplay sequences of Mafia III, along with commentaries by Haden Blackman, head study conducted Hangar 13. It's mostly about the gameplay demonstration from Gamescom 2015 are now presented for the first time the general public.
Action Mafia III will be held in 1968 in New Orleans, the main character is Lincoln Clay, an orphan color, freshly returned from the war in Vietnam. Clay finds a second home among African-American mafia in New Orleans.However, new allies are attacked and killed the Italian Mafia, causing it to start Clay in his own revenge mission.
Besides the late 60s ambience, music and cars characteristic of that period, Mafia III will propose other mature themes such as excessive violence or racial discrimination. A character color, and Clay, will encounter many problems to join the New Orleans community, as it will be portrayed in Mafia III. Even so, Clay would find allies in its struggle by recruiting a number of friends, including Vito Scaletta, the protagonist of Mafia II.
Mafia III will be released in 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
