  17. Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff kicked off Dreamforce 2015 by introducing two new platforms: Lightning and Thunder. Both platforms help companies connect with customers. Benioff highlights that the computing revolution has increased the number and types of devices that connect to the internet and to each other. From the personal computers to smartphones to Internet of Things (IoT) devices, there are now over a trillion different customer interactions. This could be customers using a smartphone or connecting to their smart cars, connected toothbrush or smart home. At the core of this, and behind every interaction, Benioff said, is a customer. To connect to customers are Lightning and Thunder.

  18. Facebook is finally ready to let more people onto its Facebook at Work social network designed specifically for enterprises and businesses. First reported by Re/code, the closed beta trial of the service that has been open since January is ready to give way to a freemium version of the office-based social network before the year is out, according to Julien Codroniou, head of Facebook at Work. At its heart, the service lets companies create their own social networks using Facebook's familiar technology and its po[CENSORED]rity is likely to depend on users knowing what they see and more importantly liking it. More than 100 companies have been using the product as part of the closed beta and it's a number that is continuing to expand.
  19. Windows 10 Build 10540 has leaked out in a series of images that suggest few changes beyond new icons for some of Microsoft's po[CENSORED]r apps. First reported by Microsoft-News.com, the images of the new build fail to show any hugely significant improvements beyond the new icons detailed on one Twitter account that may not even arrive in this build. The new icons include the Calendar, Mail, Photos, and Calculator apps and don't add anything beyond a refreshed look for each of those programs. There is very little else to get excited about and most of the pictures provided by WZor simply show various screens from the new build that aren't any different to the Windows 10 build that came before it. This leak comes hot on the heels of details on Windows 10 Build 10537 being leaked from various unofficial sources. Build 10537 Build 10537 has reputedly added opening and closing animations to Store apps, brought newly revamped icons to the Device Manager part of the OS, and improved the background colour on context menus. Microsoft has been continuing to roll out new Windows 10 builds to its Insider Program members ever since the OS was released to the public at the end of July. Anyone signed up to the program gets to try the very latest features before anyone else and if nothing else if allows them bragging rights.

    Help !

Hello ! 1- while you installing your program choose the floder where it will be installed , search for the correct floder .. try to use D:\ cuz i think your C:\ directory is full .. 2- if that's not the problem ! then try to download adobe after effects CS4 , CS3 or less .. because as i see your are installing CS6 , while Adobe AE CS5 and CS6 don't work in win 32 bits , work only in win 64 bits so u can try Adobe AE CS4 its good , there is no big deal .. Good luck !
  21. In this piece we are going to look at both the Z170 chipset itself, the benefits that come along with using Z170, and then the motherboards that are set to launch equipped with it. Intel’s details about the chipset have been some of the briefest we have experienced in any recent Intel launch, although we have been able to piece together various aspects of the design from a number of sources. We have been promised more detail about the system during the Intel Developer Forum in mid-August, to which both Ryan and I will be attending and asking plenty of questions. A lot of the detail about Z170 in this piece is mirrored in our main Skylake review as well.
  22. Small businesses and power users in a home setting have begun to face challenges with managing large amounts of data. These are generated either as part of day-to-day business operations or backing up of multimedia files from phones / tablets / TV recordings etc. One option is to use a dedicated COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) NAS from a vendor such as Synology or QNAP. Sometimes, it is also necessary to have a file server that is much more flexible with respect to programs that can be run on it. This is where storage servers based on Microsoft's offerings or even units based on Linux distributions such as Red Hat and Ubuntu come into play. These servers can either be bought as an appliance or assembled in a DIY fashion. Today, we will be looking at a system based on the latter approach.
  23. Despite the increasing affordability of SSDs, hard drives continue to remain the storage medium of choice for applications where capacity and cost factors outweigh performance requirements. Specialty drives have become the order of the day, with hard drive vendors having separate lineups to target different market segments such as desktop computers, SOHO NAS units, SMB / SME NAS units and NVRs. Western Digital was the first to introduce a 6 TB drive in the SOHO NAS drive space, but Seagate came back a few months later with a souped-up 6 TB Enterprise NAS HDD targeting the SMB / SME NAS units. Last month, Western Digital finally released the 6 TB version of the WD Red Pro for the SMB / SME NAS units. We have already had comprehensive coverage of a number of 4 TB NAS drives and a few 6 TB ones. As more high-capacity drives started getting into the market, we started reviewing them standalone. The results from our evaluation of the WD Red Pro 6 TB is presented in this review.
