343 Industries has finalized the release date in the testing phase of the leaked online cooperative mode for the Halo Infinite campaign through the official Halo Waypoint blog. The futuristic open-world shooter will be updated for free to Insiders the week of July 11 to add four-player co-op in story mode, as well as the ability to replay completed missions. The games will be hosted on dedicated servers and there will be cross-play between Xbox Series, Xbox One, Xbox Cloud Gaming and PC (in both versions, Steam and Microsoft Store). Likewise, the Xbox Game Studios development studio has detailed the details of the cooperative mode regarding the progression and the freedom of movement of the players. All players will progress through the campaign when playing co-op, not just the party leader, as is the case in some multiplayer games. John Mulkey, lead world designer at 343i, explains that "the game aggregates the states of all missions between those saves and sets up a world state where all missions completed by all party members are marked as completed while missions not completed by everyone are marked as incomplete". The design philosophy that 343i has applied is based on the "lowest common denominator", that is, the progress made by the person in the group with the least progress is taken into account to shape the world. Any progress made in the cooperative game will also be taken into account in the single player games of each of the participants. Skulls, collectibles and other items are also taken into account.

Samsung will release cheaper foldable smartphones, and it's a great idea Currently, Samsung is the reference manufacturer in the folding screen smartphone market. Their models of the Galaxy Z gala are the best there is, since the quality of the Flip and Fold is excellent. But, at the moment, the prices it has are prohibitive for many users, and this is something that it has in mind to change. Amounts greater than 1,000 euros in most cases is something that many do not want to assume -although the idea of having a mobile with a folding screen catches their attention-. Well, the idea that the Korean firm has in mind is to resort to the Galaxy A range, which is one of the most striking that it has for traditional terminals. Thus, it would give an important effect because it would launch cheaper devices that can be folded without problems. A great idea from Samsung The truth is that, if this is achieved, we are talking about a new vision of folding phones and added pressure for its rivals, such as Xiaomi or Motorola (Apple, for the moment, has not shown any signs of life in this segment ). In addition, resorting to an already known sub-brand -and that has complete models and at attractive prices-, is an excellent option, since users will automatically recognize the terminals. In this way, if a Samsung Galaxy A Fold is put up for sale, there would be no doubt on the part of anyone that the phone will be cheap … but that it is not without quality. And how would this be achieved? Well, apart from lowering the power of essential components, such as the processor and RAM (it would leave the high range to be part of the average, so it would still have a good user experience, but not as premium). In addition, the finishes would not be the same and the folding screen -which is logically similar to that of the Galaxy Z Flip- would not have layers such as Ultra-Thin Glass to lower the cost. All logical and perfectly understandable. What could be the price of this folding? Well, according to the source of the information, the first folding Samsung Galaxy A, which could see the light at the end of 2023, would cost one million won. It seems a lot, but in exchange we are talking about 770 euros. This is a high figure, no doubt, but much more attractive to many buyers - there are not a few who spend similar amounts on devices that do not have this type of screen. The truth is that the idea is a good one, since smartphones with panels that can be folded are a reality that is here to stay.

Retro lovers have many ways to bring their old machines back to life. One of them is to perform an aesthetic reconstruction, but instead of being based on the original hardware, use the Raspberry Pi. Unfortunately, many of these rebuilds lose fidelity to the original hardware by bringing along a Linux with a game loader. For the purists, the ZXBaremulator allows those nostalgic for the ZX Spectrum to do this. Rebuilding our childhood and adolescence is something that many interpret as a way of not knowing how to abandon the past. Others see it as a historical recovery to a time that will not return and that has not been repeated in subsequent generations. Fortunately, everything related to computing has a great capacity for preserving and even reconstructing that past. Emulators have been part of it, but the recent retro craze combined with the ability of certain systems to reproduce as closely as possible the systems of yesteryear have given it a bit of a revival. What is a Near Metal or Baremetal emulator? Well, an emulator close to metal or Baremetal is one that runs directly on the hardware without the need for an operating system in between. In other words, when you boot the system instead of running the operating system, what it does is run the emulator. This allows more power to be sent to the system emulation. Due to the fact that the CPU will not be managing all the processes in the background. This applied to low-cost, single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi is extremely interesting. Since it allows us to completely emulate the operation of the original system in terms of its use. Something that many will prefer in order to repeat as much as possible the fidelity with the machines of yesteryear and that brings it closer to the operation of FPGA solutions. ZXBaremulator, the closest thing to a Spectrum on a Pi The ZX Spectrum was a computer that did not use a complex operating system, since it only had one program loaded in memory. Which was the program that we had dumped from tape, so there wasn't really an operating system like there was on many 8-bit systems based on the Z80 or 6502 processors. They just didn't have the power to run a complex operating system. The example that we leave you as an emulator close to metal is the ZXBaremulator, among its features we can highlight: Precise emulation of the 48K, 128K and +2A models. Allows you to use PS3 and PS4 Dual Shock controllers, Xbox 360, One and Series controllers. We can also use the Nintendo Switch, but in this case without Bluetooth support. Allows you to use a standard USB mouse as if it were the Kempston Mouse. Accelerated loading of virtual tapes in TAP/TZX format. Emulation of both the internal speaker and the programmable sound generator, AY-3-8918 chip. Audio output via HDMI or the audio mini Jack in the event that we make use of the composite video output. You will be able to connect your old tube TV if you have the necessary adapter. It has support for the Recreated ZX Spectrum USB keyboard. In case you want to use one of the keyboards from the original Spectrum models, then you have the option to connect them via the GPIO connection. In case you want to connect the original keyboard of the machine, then you can do it through the GPIO connector.

The Ioniq 5, Hyundai's new electric crossover, has earned the IIHS's highest rating for safety. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) awarded the coveted “Top Safety Pick+” to the Hyundai Ioniq 5. This electric crossover continues to rack up accolades around the world; that are added to the "World Car of the Year" award, awarded a few months ago. It performed well in all six of the agency's crash tests; as frontal crashes (driver side small overlap, passenger side small overlap and moderate overlap); along with side impact, roof strength test and head restraint test. Additionally, it also earns a “Superior” rating in both frontal crash prevention categories (both vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-front pedestrian). The set of alerts, radars and sensors worked perfectly, avoiding collisions in all test scenarios. To top it off, the standard LED headlights offered on the Hyundai Ioniq 5 earn an “Acceptable” rating; while SEL and Limited trim LED headlamps performed better in lighting tests. Thanks to these results, it was awarded the Top Safety Pick+. However, the IIHS notes that this only applies to units manufactured after December 2021; when Hyundai made changes to the front seats that could affect the evaluation of the head restraints. In this way, the high level of safety of this crossover, which had previously achieved five stars in Euro NCAP tests, is reaffirmed. https://autosdeprimera.com/hyundai-ioniq-5-iihs-top-safety-pick-2022/
