This game, based on the Dyatlov Pass Incident, utilizes beautiful graphics and an amazing location for a horror game, where you play as an investigator tracing the steps of nine students that went missing in a winter storm. The scares are constantly unexpected, as you are haunted by the malevolent entities that wander the ridges, pathways and dark forests on the mountainside. The producers obviously put strong effort and research into this game in order to recreate a story to follow the horrific tragedy that took place on that mountain in 1959. I enjoyed this game to its full potential. The story, the graphics, and the voice-over done by Sean Bean. A highly recommended game. Limbo is a 2-D game in black and white and gray tones that might sound retro, but it uses modern game physics. (Please note that not all aspects of modern game physics are utilized in this game. It is not "Portal") It is a series of puzzles that become more complex as the game proceeds. When you move the controls, you find that you are animating a small boy in silhouette. You are in a very atmospheric world, where the creepiness and tension are achieved by a combination of excellent art design and sound. There are also elements of humor to keep it light. It never devolves into horror. The focus is on the puzzle challenges, which must be solved before you can proceed on your (linear) way. Sometimes simplicity is sophisticated. Less is more, they say. "Limbo" is thus attractive. And few puzzle games are as reliably entertaining and engaging. I recommend it for puzzle gamers and anyone who might want to try a different twist on the puzzle experience. New production from Acer’s Predator 21 X is a monster. Not only have this machine’s designers put a curved 21-inch display on a laptop for the first time ever, they’ve also gone and given it two GeForce GTX 1080 GPUs as well. Add in five cooling fans, a 7th-generation Intel Core K-series processor, and space for as much as four terabytes of SSD storage, and you have a laptop that’s beyond obscene. Acer acknowledges that this laptop is more of a proof of engineering acumen than any sort of "big seller" retail product. How do you even begin to judge or weigh the merits of such an outlandish creation? At 8kg, the 21 X weighs more than seven of Acer's newly introduced Swift 7 laptops.
